Provided By Suzanne
Hope: I thought we were friends.
Rafe: Oh, come on, hope, we are.
Hope: Then why are you lying to me?
Rafe: Stop it.
Hope: No, Rafe, why are you lying to me instead of telling me the truth, that you're really looking for Thompson so he can help you out with something that you're starting to dig into? And why do I have a feeling it has to do with Clyde Weston?
Rafe: Hope, I--
Hope: And you can skip the part where you say we've already been over this. Do not discuss it with me, because, Rafe, I am not dropping this... not by a long shot. As stubborn as you are, I'm even more stubborn, and you know that. So tell me... was Thompson any help at all?
Rafe: He wasn't here.
Hope: Good. Then this stays between you and me.
Clyde: Ben was so proud to show me his new driver's license. He said it was worth the wait to be a Weston again. I never thought I'd hear those words come out of my boy's mouth. [Chuckles] I owe you a debt of gratitude.
Aiden: Well, glad I could help.
Clyde: And to show my thanks... [Clears throat] I want to throw a little more business your way.
Aiden: Whoa. As you know, my practice specializes in criminal law.
Clyde: Yeah, but I trust you, Mr. Jennings... Aiden. And I just can't see handing my business over to a stranger.
Nicole: Okay. Daniel should be home by now. I have got to tell him about Serena and Xander before this blows up in my face, even if I don't know the whole story.
[Knock at door]
Eric: Hey. You busy?
Nicole: Uh, actually, I was just about to le--
Eric: Can I just have a few minutes? It's important.
Navidad: Nicole's still in her office.
Xander: She's been holed up in there for hours.
Navidad: She hasn't left all day.
Xander: When she does finally decide to get off her bum, I want to know exactly where she goes. And if it's anywhere near Daniel Jonas or if she does anything else I won't like, let me know. I'll take it from there.
Navidad: Will do.
Kimberly: So have you thought about what happens next?
Brady: With Tate?
Kimberly: Tate, yes, yes, and Theresa. I mean, where does Theresa fit into your life?
Brady: Well, Theresa and I are on the same page.
Brady: We both want what's best for Tate.
Kimberly: Oh, of course, you do, and that's wonderful, but I don't suppose you've given any thought to what's best for Theresa.
Theresa: [Sighs] You know that I am so grateful to you for everything you've done for me and for my little boy. I might not even be alive if you hadn't... look, I'm getting out of here, out of the hospital in the morning, and as soon as Tate recovers from his transplant, he'll be coming home too.
Melanie: I'm happy for you.
Theresa: I'm happy that you're happy. The question is... where's home? Big decisions have to be made, and big changes are coming... for all of us.
Nicole: What's going on?
Eric: I've got a lot of people to share this with, and I wanted to tell you first.
Nicole: I can't tell if it's good news or bad news.
Eric: [Chuckles] It's--it's good. It's very good.
[Knock at door]
Serena: What the hell are you up to?
Xander: I have no idea what you're talking about.
Serena: Of course you do. I saw your little friend Navidad in the square. You brought her here to Salem to do a job for you, didn't you? Why do I have a bad feeling about this?
Melanie: I know you and Brady need to work out visitation and custody for Tate, but that's for you two to deal with. I'm staying out of it.
Theresa: Thanks. But I don't really see that happening. Melanie, you're part of Brady's life now, and you're in love with him. And the reason we need to talk about this is... because... well... so am I.
Hope: If you can talk to Thompson, you can certainly talk to me.
Hope: Don't you trust me?
Rafe: Hope, it is not that.
Hope: It isn't?
Hope: You're afraid I'm going to get in over my head. Or is it that I'm not cop enough to take care of myself?
Rafe: Come on, stop it. Just stop it.
Hope: If you don't tell me, I'll get to the bottom of this myself. You know I will. Rafe.
Rafe: Fine. The only reason that I am here today is because the stakes have been raised.
Rafe: And something happened which I didn't foresee, and now I'm concerned because others are involved.
Hope: Which others?
Hope: Does this have anything to do with the article he's writing for Sonix?
Rafe: Well, it turns out the DiMeras bought the magazine, and now they've ordered a story on Clyde Weston.
Rafe: Well, that's the million-dollar question, now, isn't it? Now, maybe it's because Stefano is jealous of Kate's new fling, or perhaps he's really scared of Clyde.
Hope: Rafe, show me what you've got so far. Will and Ari are my family.
Rafe: Can I use your computer?
Hope: Please, have at it.
Aiden: Income from businesses, portfolios, equity positions-- this is a very sophisticated approach.
Clyde: You probably thought I kept it all in little black books, didn't you?
Aiden: No. No, I just meant that you--
Clyde: Just giving you a hard time.
Clyde: But you see what I need, right? I need time for me to streamline my operations. I need articles of incorporation to spin off the trucking company. I need revocable trusts--
Aiden: What you need is a good tax attorney, not me.
Clyde: Yeah, but like I said, I want to keep it all in the family... figuratively speaking... which reminds me, I also need you to draw up a will.
Aiden: Well, you're not thinking about checking out any time soon, are you?
Clyde: Counselor, I am planning on living forever.
Xander: [Sighs] Why so upset?
Serena: Navidad only shows up when you need her to do something dangerous for you. I thought we had an understanding, Xander.
Xander: We do.
Serena: You're having the diamonds examined. I'm getting out of dodge. You're getting everything that you wanted.
Xander: I am.
Serena: Okay, so then if you're even thinking about going after me or Eric--
Xander: When are you going to start listening? I am not.
Serena: Then who else? Oh, my God. This is about Nicole, isn't it?
Eric: You don't know what it means that we can call each other friends again.
Eric: It's been a tough road getting there.
Nicole: Yes, it has been.
Eric: But your friendship means a lot to me.
Nicole: [Sighs] Oh, Eric... I am so grateful to hear you say that, more than you know. And the same goes for me.
Eric: Like I said, we've come a long way.
Nicole: Yes, we have.
Eric: After all that torture I put myself through trying to make the right choice... you know, I feel really blessed that things have worked out the way they were meant to be, I mean, for both of us. [Chuckles] It's kind of bittersweet... you know, having to say good-bye to Salem. I'm moving away with Serena.
Brady: Of course Theresa's needs are important as well. No, I didn't mean to insinuate anything.
Kimberly: Oh, no, no, honey, honey, relax. I know your relationship with Theresa's a little fraught. Mine's a little fraught too. And I know, I know. Having a baby with my daughter, that's the last thing you wanted on this--on this earth.
Brady: Oh, Kimberly, that's--
Kimberly: But my ma says having a baby is always a blessing.
Brady: Well, yeah. I mean, absolutely. When you find out you have a baby, you love him instantly... more than you thought you could ever love anything or anyone. I lost my mother when I was just a baby. And I love my son way too much to even think about separating him from his mother.
Kimberly: Oh, oh, Brady... I really appreciate you saying that, because, you know, being a mother is the hardest job on the planet, even under the best of circumstances, but, you know, it demands sacrifice and selflessness, so Theresa's gonna need a little help.
Brady: If you're suggesting, uh, that I hire her a nanny or something, I can do that.
Kimberly: No, that's not what I'm suggesting. No, that's not what I'm saying.
Brady: Okay, what are you-- what are you saying?
Kimberly: First of all, this is not coming from Theresa. It's coming from me. I think it would be best for all concerned if Theresa and the baby just moved to California.
Theresa: Look, I'm just being honest with you, Melanie, and I have to be honest with myself. Brady doesn't love me back. He loves you. And he's committed to you. And it would be crazy for me to try to come between you.
Melanie: If it's so crazy, why are we talking about it?
Theresa: Well, I just think you should know. Look, I'm--I'm trying to do the right thing. I have been trying so hard to let go of my feelings for Brady.
Theresa: Look, maybe you see it differently. Okay, but these last few months... all the fights we've been in and just that ridiculously awful relationship I got into with Clint and the anger and self-destruction, it was my way of just trying to tell myself that you two weren't worth my time. But then came Tate, and he changes everything... for all of us.
Melanie: Yeah, he does.
Theresa: I'm glad that you see that. And, look, Melanie, you've seen how Brady and I have come together for our son. And to be honest... it's really opened my eyes, and--
Melanie: To what?
Theresa: Well, it's just made me realize that... I'm more in love with him now than I ever have been.
Brady: You are kidding, right? You're not going to take my son and move 1,000 miles away.
Kimberly: Oh, come on. Nothing's preventing you from coming too.
Brady: Well, you can't-- you can't uproot your life, Kimberly, but you want me to uproot mine. We are talking about my child, right?
Kimberly: Yours and Theresa's.
Brady: If you are worried about Theresa living on her own, I understand. But, look, she could move in here. There's a west wing that's entirely vacant in this house. She would have a nanny.
Kimberly: My daughter's not living in this house with this family.
Brady: Why not?
Kimberly: Because of him.
Melanie: I don't know what to say, Theresa. I'm sorry?
Theresa: I'm not asking for your pity. I just want you to know I'm not after Brady.
Melanie: So you're in love with him... but you're not after him.
Theresa: Because I'm bad for him. You know, I... [Sighs] I was. Look, I dragged him back into a life of drinking and drugs. I mean, hell, I put his father in a coma.
Melanie: Yeah, kind of hard to get past.
Theresa: Yeah, but that was a different time.
Melanie: Oh, okay.
Theresa: And... look, I've matured a great deal since then.
Theresa: Motherhood will do that. But no matter. That ship has sailed-- the one with Brady's and my name on it. You know what? I'm sure by this time next year, the two of you will be married, and you'll be planning to have babies of your own-- trust funds and your whole wonderful futures ahead of you. And me? Well, I'll be raising my beautiful, little boy and looking across to the other side of the tracks at the two of you and what I'll never have.
Melanie: Brady will provide for his son.
Theresa: That's not what I mean.
Melanie: Then what's the point?
Theresa: Look, it's gonna kill me, Melanie. I mean, to be honest, it's gonna be heart-wrenching.
Melanie: Well, I'm sure you'll learn to deal with it, Theresa.
Theresa: Actually, Melanie, I don't think that I will.
Rafe: I started investigating Clyde because of Jordan.
Hope: 'Cause of Jordan, yeah, I know.
Rafe: Yeah. Well, now that Clyde's involved with will... you understand why this is personal for me.
Hope: Yeah, of course.
Rafe: But why you? Why are you so--so driven and involved in this?
Hope: [Sighs] I've known Victor a very long time.
Hope: And if he let Clyde take over his business territory without a fight, something big is going on, and I want to know what it is.
Hope: What's that?
Rafe: A little something I stole I shouldn't be showing you.
Rafe: What? I logged into will's computer, and I just emailed myself some of his research.
Hope: I'm just saying, you could have asked, you know?
Rafe: No, he's already rattled enough. I'm not gonna let Clyde put him in that position, okay?
Hope: What's this document?
Rafe: I don't know. I haven't even had a chance to look at it yet.
Hope: Why do you say that will's rattled?
Rafe: Because Clyde wants him to write the article. I guess it makes him feel like he's in control... and will intelligently declined.
Hope: Then what is all this?
Rafe: Well, Clyde persuaded him to reconsider.
Hope: Are you saying that Clyde threatened will?
Rafe: Well, not in so many words, but that's certainly how will felt. Peel back the southern charm...
Hope: Yeah, what southern charm?
Rafe: Yep. Clyde hasn't got a single redeeming quality that will can write about. Guy's nothing but bad news.
Eric: You're not happy for us.
Nicole: It's not that. I just, uh...
Eric: I know you and Serena aren't friends, but I thought you two were getting along pretty well.
Nicole: Well, I mean, we're working on it. On the bright side, I guess I don't have to worry about that anymore.
Nicole: I-I'm just... I'm just really gonna miss you, okay? But please know, I want you to be happy. That's all I want.
Eric: Thank you. I know that. And I want the same for you. I'm gonna miss you... a lot.
Eric: You know, there was a time not long ago where I thought I'd have a hard time saying that. And I'm glad we're able to be friends again. And I don't want that to change. I hope you're happy for me.
Nicole: Eric, I-I just--
Nicole: Can you tell me, um, when exactly are you leaving?
Serena: So you're having Navidad check out Nicole, trying to figure out what she knows about our business, am I right?
Xander: Aren't you curious too? Nicole questioned you about the elephant. Then she saw that picture on my phone. Clearly she's suspicious about both of us.
Serena: Yes, but... I mean, what could she really know? Nothing, unless one of us were to tell her, which we won't. Has it ever occurred to you to try to do it the simple way and just ignore her? I'll be getting out of town with Eric. She'll forget about all of this.
Xander: Do not tell me what to do!
Serena: You're not going to drop this, are you? My God, even when you don't have a reason, you'll just--
Xander: Shh, shh, shh, shh. Shh.
Serena: This isn't about you trying to cover our tracks anymore. You think she's playing you. And it's killing you... so much so that you'd kill her for it.
Eric: I'm not sure when I'm leaving. Um, Serena's leaving pretty soon, and I'll follow after. I have some things I have to finish up here.
Nicole: Oh, then I don't have to say good-bye just yet.
Eric: Yeah, I haven't even told my family yet. So, uh...
Nicole: I won't say a word. Oh, Eric, you've had so many lousy things happen to you these last few years. I just want something good to happen now.
Eric: I want the same for you. I know we talked about this before... but if I've made things harder for you and Daniel...
Nicole: Oh, please. Daniel and I have plenty of problems without you.
[Cell phone beeping]
Eric: But you love him. I know you do. I'm not going to pretend I know the whole story of what's going on with Xander, but you and I both know he's not right for you. Daniel is.
Serena: You are such a misogynist. You can't stand the fact that I am leaving town with Eric and you won't have me to push around anymore.
Xander: I don't care about you.
Serena: And you don't care about Nicole. What you do care about is that she's more interested in Daniel than you. You have daddy issues, family issues. And I guess you think stealing Daniel's girlfriend would be very satisfying. Never mind the fact that she is a psycho bitch who would actually be perfect for you if she weren't trying to--
Xander: Shut up! Now... get out.
Serena: Oh, my God, I never should have told Xander what Nicole was up to. [Sighs] He could kill her. And if she's not careful, he will.
Victor: Who the hell let you in?
Brady: Granddad, we're in the middle of a conversation.
Kimberly: Oh, no, no, there will be no conversation. Theresa and my grandson are not living in this house.
Victor: As if I'd even consider it. Your daughter's a brazen hussy, and we all know where she gets it.
Brady: Granddad. What is--what is going on here?
Victor: I know we made love for all the wrong reasons. Can't deny the truth, now, can we? We did make love. Even though you did it to protect Shane--
Victor: Even though you did it to protect Shane... it's not the last time between us.
Kimberly: You don't know, do you? You were raised in this house with backstabbers and gossips, and nobody bothers to tell you about your grandfather? [Chuckles] No, all right. Brady, all you need to know is I meant what I said. Theresa's not coming within a mile of this crypt.
Victor: It would be a crypt if your daughter had her way.
Kimberly: After what happened with john--
Victor: Oh, now, there's a euphemism.
Kimberly: She would never be comfortable living here. Look, Tate is an innocent child. I don't want him corrupted by--
Victor: Your daughter.
Brady: You're not helping.
Kimberly: I don't want him corrupted by you. Theresa's that little boy's mother. And I'm gonna help raise him, and Shane's gonna help raise him.
Victor: Because you and Shane did just such a fabulous job with your own kids.
Kimberly: Shut up, Victor. Theresa's gonna see that coming home is her best option.
Victor: Coming home? You mean to California? That's out of the question.
Kimberly: You think so? Just watch.
Brady: What the hell did you do?
I'll be back to get him in a little while.
Theresa: Thanks. So, as I said, my mom flew in from la today, and she had this idea. And at first, I thought it was crazy, but the more I thought about it, it started to make sense. She wants me to move to California.
Melanie: And leave Tate with Brady?
Theresa: I never said that. Listen, Melanie, wherever my son is, of course he belongs with me. I'm his mother.
Melanie: So you want to take him to California with you?
Theresa: I repeat... wherever I am, my son belongs with me.
Eric: I hope I'm not out of line for saying that, but as long as we're being honest... you deserve to be treated better than I ever did.
Nicole: Don't say that.
Eric: I know a lot of the reason you don't trust people has a lot to do with me. You can trust Daniel. He's the real deal. So why is Xander even in the picture? You know what? You don't even have to answer that. I'm just sa-- [Chuckles] End of sermon.
Nicole: You know what? I'm--I'm... I'm even going to miss your sermons, Eric. Please tell me this isn't good-bye. [Chuckles]
Eric: Absolutely not. Salem's always going to be my home.
Nicole: I'm so glad to hear you say that. So I'll, uh--I'll see you later.
Nicole: Eric's right. I can trust Daniel. It's time to tell him everything.
Nicole: Ugh. Hello? Can't this wait? [Sighs] Fine. What do you got? [Scoffs]
Clyde: So how'd your interview with will go?
Jeremiah: Just the way you scripted it.
Clyde: Good man.
Jeremiah: I'm still not sure why you wanted me to--
Clyde: Hey, we can't have everybody thinking I'm walking on water here. People might start asking questions, Jeremiah. And we just can't have that.
Rafe: Everybody says the same thing. Clyde's a good guy, works hard, came up from nothing.
Hope: Clyde's got everyone running scared.
Rafe: Yeah. Well, except this guy. He doesn't seem to be afraid to speak his mind.
Hope: What's his name?
[Knock at door] I'm a little busy right now. Come back later, please.
Aiden: How busy? [Chuckles]
Hope: Ah! Hi. Mwah. Never too busy for you.
Aiden: What you doing here?
Eric: Mind if I join you? [Smooches]
Serena: Eric, hi.
Eric: Starting early, are you? I forgot how stressful moving can be.
Serena: So I guess your family didn't take the news so well, huh?
Eric: Well, I haven't told them yet.
Serena: Why not?
Eric: Well, I had a lot of things to handle, you know. I just want to handle this the right way.
Serena: You do. I know. That's--that's you.
Eric: Listen, I really want to fly out with you, okay? I just-- I have a lot of loose ends, you know, that need to be wrapped up with work and, uh, apartment and... things are going to be okay.
Serena: I know. [Chuckles] I know. I just can't wait to be in Hawaii with you so you can see how good it can be for us.
Eric: They already are.
Serena: Not as good as they could be. That's not possible here.
Eric: Serena, you're the best thing that's ever happened to me.
Serena: No, I'm-- I'm not.
Victor: That woman wants to take your son to la la land, and you want to know what I did? Why would you even consider having Theresa over here?
Brady: No, don't--don't. Granddad, do not change the subject, all right? If I'm going to get involved in some--some custody battle, I need to know--
Victor: Oh, my lawyers will make mincemeat of Theresa Donovan.
Brady: What do you think Kimberly's lawyers are going to do? What are they going to do to you? Hmm? This could be a giant mess. What the hell-- why don't I know about your history with her? Granddad, tell me, what happened between you and Kimberly, and is it going to affect my son?
Victor: Oh, don't be ridiculous.
Brady: Yes or no?
Victor: Of course not. Look, it was a different time.
Brady: What the heck does that mean, anyway-- "it was a different time"?
Victor: I don't think you have anything to worry about.
Brady: I thought I categorically didn't have anything to worry about. But that's not the case, is it? Is it?
Victor: Just calm--
Brady: I'm not gonna calm down, granddad. This has to do with my son. It's important.
Victor: Your son's future is not in jeopardy. But since you obviously don't believe me, I'll make a call--
Brady: No, I don't need you to ma--I don't-- I will handle this.
Melanie: Brady is Tate's father. You don't have the right to take his son away from him.
Theresa: Oh, maybe you don't understand, Melanie, although I think it would be obvious, even to you, who's never experienced the amazing transformative responsibility of being a mother. This isn't about what I want. It's about what's best for my son.
Melanie: Oh, okay. Okay. So what's best for your son is to take him thousands of miles away from his father, his loving and caring father who wants to be a part of his life, who's also not going to just sit around--
Theresa: You think he'd have a choice? The judge often sides with the mother, you know, not that I'd want it to come to that.
Melanie: You just said that you--
Theresa: You know, I mean, it must be hard for you to understand, and I should give you some credit. I suppose it's difficult for you to relate, since you've never had a child. But let me be clear. My son's well-being is my first priority and always will be for the rest of my life. So... there's some really crucial decisions that need to be made given the complicated nature of this specific situation.
Melanie: You are the one making it more complicated by threatening to take his son away from him, by even considering moving thousands of miles away so that he can't be with his son.
Theresa: Oh, Melanie, Melanie, please, try to see this from my perspective. I'm just weighing my options. And, you know, it's really hard to decide to do... I don't know. It's--it's hard to figure out what's right. But the only way I'm going to stay here in Salem and raise my beautiful little boy alongside Brady would be if...
Melanie: If I weren't here?
Theresa: Oh... so you do see.
Theresa: Oh... my sweet little boy... you have no idea how happy you make Mommy. [Chuckles] Yes, you do.
Melanie: You crazy bitch. [Sighs]
Aiden: Yeah, I can be there shortly. All right, I'll see you then. Ah, my apologies for the interruption.
Rafe: Ah, no worries.
Hope: Rafe stopped by to help me on what was an old case of his.
Rafe: Listen, we can finish it up later, okay?
Hope: Yeah, sure. Of course.
Rafe: It was good to see you again, man.
Aiden: Yeah, you too.
Rafe: All right.
Aiden: All right.
Rafe: See you.
Hope: Thanks. Bye.
Aiden: [Sighs] You sure this isn't a bad time or--
Eric: Serena, where is this coming from?
Serena: I just had something on my mind.
Serena: It's--it's a-a work thing... weighing me down.
Eric: Is there anything I can help with?
Serena: It actually could be great for me. But it comes at someone else's expense.
Eric: Unfortunately, that's how a lot of things work.
Serena: Yeah, but this isn't about a promotion or a raise. This person might actually suffer. It's not right, is it?
Eric: If there's any way to prevent it, it doesn't sound right.
Serena: Yeah. Yeah, me either. You know, Eric, I've never been as good as you, but... maybe it's not too late to try, right?
Eric: Hey, Serena--
Serena: I have to go. I love you.
Eric: Just tell me what's goi--
Serena: If I'm going to get out of here, I, uh-- I don't have time to waste.
Kimberly: Oh, honey. Oh. Hi. It's okay. Oh, my God, he's so...
Kimberly: Oh, he's so...
Kimberly: He's perfect.
Kimberly: I think I ruined everything.
Theresa: What do you mean?
Kimberly: I went to see Brady just now, and that-- that was a mistake.
Kimberly: He started talking about moving you and precious little boy into that house, and I just-- I lost my temper, and I told him in plain English I'm going to take you and my precious, precious grandson and move to California. I-I know you haven't even said yes, and you're probably really, really upset with me right now, but... would it be too much to ask... you just keep an open mind, okay?
Theresa: Mom, I'm thinking now that... well, it's too soon to rule anything out.
[Knock at door]
Melanie: Brady, hi.
Brady: Hi. I'm glad you're here. I'm glad you're here.
Melanie: What's wrong?
Brady: Oh, I called Aiden Jennings. He's going to meet us here.
Brady: Melanie, this needs to stay between us, but I-I needed an attorney that is not employed by my family to be completely objective about this whole thing.
Melanie: Okay. What's going on?
Brady: I was blindsided by this whole thing. I didn't even see it coming, and... we're going to have a fight on our hands, Mel. Theresa's mother, Kimberly, came over to see me--
Melanie: Oh, yeah. No, I know about that. She wants Theresa and Tate to move to California.
Aiden: Wow. Maybe you should leave town more often. I'm kidding. I missed you like crazy, baby.
Hope: I missed you too.
Aiden: Yeah, well, did you find what you were looking for?
Hope: Mr. Jennings, are you trying to talk about work? I thought there were rules.
Aiden: There are rules. There are rules. Let me make it up to you.
Hope: Please do.
Aiden: Thanks, okay. Okay, um, look, that was Brady...
Aiden: That I was talking to on the phone. I have to go meet with him, but I'm thinking, tonight, you, me, dinner, drinking, dancing... all of the above. What do you say?
Hope: The three Ds, huh?
Aiden: The three Ds.
Hope: Okay, I'm sold.
Aiden: Yeah? Okay, good.
Hope: Let me walk you to your car, give you a proper kiss good-bye.
Aiden: Or maybe not so proper.
Hope: Or maybe not...
Aiden: Mmm, okay.
Hope: So proper. Let's go. Yeah. Thank you.
Clyde: Well, I'll be sitting pretty once my lawyer gets everything fixed up for me.
Jeremiah: And you're sure you can trust this guy?
Clyde: He's a single dad, you know-- a widower, just like me. And when you go into his office, the first thing you see isn't his diploma. It's a picture of his boy all dressed up in his baseball uniform, you know... his pride and joy.
Jeremiah: And that's why you trust him?
Clyde: No, Jeremiah. I trust him, because if push came to shove... Jennings would know exactly where his priorities lie.
Rafe: Yeah, I know that I am asking a lot, but I can't tell you why, not yet. Anything you have on Weston trucking, I mean anything at all, you send it to me. I promise. I'll keep your name out of it.
Brady: How did you know about Kimberly wanting Theresa to move--
Melanie: Theresa told me. I hate to say this, but she's definitely thinking about doing it.
Kimberly: Oh, you go back to Mama.
Kimberly: Yeah. Oh, you did good. You did good.
Kimberly: But I-I'm kind of surprised here. I thought you were still-- oh, there you go, buddy. Oh, there. I thought you were so totally against the whole idea. I thought you'd be furious with me for going over there to see Brady.
Theresa: Oh, Mommy, I hold this little boy, and I don't know how to be angry. I mean, you were just trying to help, right?
Kimberly: Of course, I was.
Kimberly: Of course I was.
Theresa: You and I want the same thing. We just want what's best for Tate.
Kimberly: And you, honey. And you.
Theresa: I know we have our issues, Mom. I just... [Sighs] I'm realizing that having you here is probably the best thing that's ever happened to me.
Xander: Eric. How's it going?
Eric: Good. You know, actually, I-I haven't told a lot of people yet, but I might not see you before I leave.
Eric: I'm moving to Hawaii.
Xander: With Serena?
Eric: You don't seem surprised.
Xander: Oh, she mentioned it was a possibility. I figured she'd talk you into it. She has a way of getting what she wants.
Nicole: Well, when you find out, leave me a message, 'cause I'm out for the rest of the day.
[Knock at door]
Serena: Got a minute?
Nicole: Actually, no, I don't.
Serena: Well, I need to talk to you... about Xander.
