Kate: Ben, are you accusing Chad of lying?
Chad: Just wait--
Kate: I think it's painfully obvious what happened here. Jordan influenced Chad to donate funds. She used persuasion to solicit cash from Mr. DiMera apparently.
Ben: Chad DiMera is not the anonymous donor. My father is.
Daphne: Hey. Oh, God, I hope the professor is not grading on a curve. I haven't even opened my book yet.
Paige: Just trying to get ahead.
Daphne: So how was new year's? Did you and JJ go to that party in the park?
Paige: I wasn't with JJ.
Daphne: Why not?
Paige: Because he broke up with me.
JJ: Damn it! Could this day be any worse?
Paige: Is this yours?
Hope: Think it's the first time I left a movie before finishing my candy and popcorn.
Jennifer: I know, I don't get it. 'Cause Kayla said that was the best film she'd seen all year. Which kinda makes me wonder what she thinks about our latest book club book, 'cause I really loved it. What did you think?
Hope: Oh, I haven't had a chance to finish it.
Jennifer: Well, you're not the only one. And I'm thinking we should rename it "the wine club," 'cause there is not a lot of reading happening.
Hope: Or "the donut club."
Jennifer: Don't say that. You're still gonna come, right?
Hope: I can't.
Jennifer: Why not?
Jennifer: Well what? What is going on with you?
Hope: I don't want to get into it with Kayla again.
Jennifer: Get into what?
Hope: She doesn't approve of my dating Aiden. Yeah. She doesn't think I can trust him.
Aiden: Hello, Bree. It's Aiden Jennings, and don't you dare hang up.
Bree: What do you want now?
Aiden: I know that you've been spreading rumors about me, once again.
Bree: I didn't talk to hope, I swear.
Aiden: No, but you gossiped with your sister-in-law, and somehow it got back to hope that I threatened you. I warned you, Bree, to stay out of my business, but you didn't listen. And now you left me with no choice.
Clyde: Mr. Kiriakis.
Victor: I think you should know that you're making a very unwise move. And if you don't change course immediately, I guarantee you're going to live to-- let me rephrase that and simply say you'll regret it.
Jordan: Clyde donated the money for this project? And you knew? You both knew, didn't you?
What's this about? Who's Clyde?
Anne: I'm sure ms. Ridgeway can give you all the details you need for your story.
Jordan: No, I can't do this.
Anne: What do you mean?
Jordan: I'm sorry, I just can't--
Abigail: No, no, Jordan, wait--
Daphne: He broke up with you? Oh, my God, I am so sorry. Are you okay? Dumb question. What happened?
Paige: Well, you know how my grandpa was sick and I had to fly to L.A., you know, right before winter break?
Daphne: Yeah, yeah. He's okay now, right?
Paige: He is. But I thought I might have to stay in California for a while. And I told JJ that I didn't know when or if I'd even be coming back.
Daphne: Okay, but now you're back. So what's the problem?
Paige: While I was gone, JJ, he-- slept with someone else.
Daphne: That bastard. Who?
Paige: He wouldn't tell me, but I have a pretty good idea.
Eve: I'm glad I ran into you.
JJ: Why? So you could throw it in my face that you got what you wanted? I'm out of your daughter's life. Now you stay the hell out of mine.
Eve: I would like that, JJ, but something's come up that we need to discuss. In private.
Anne: Abigail, could you possibly explain to the reporters what is going on here?
Ben: I have to make sure Jordan's okay.
Abigail: Wait, I'm coming with you.
Anne: No, no, no, I'm H.R. You are P.R. When you can be bothered to do your job, which is apparently never.
Kate: I think I might be able to help. The only Clyde that I know is ms. Ridgeway's step-father, Clyde Weston.
Mr. Weston is the anonymous donor?
Kate: Well, it would seem so. Obviously I had no idea, but apparently I had no need for concern as well. I mean, Mr. Weston is a very generous man, and clearly he knew exactly where his funds were going.
Could you please spell his name?
Kate: Um, of course I could. It's Clyde. C-L-Y-D-E.
Jordan: This is a nightmare.
Chad: I am so sorry. If I had any idea that you thought I was the anonymous donor, then I--
Jordan: No, it's not your fault. I shouldn't have assumed--
Jordan: You know how I feel about Clyde. How could you let this happen?
Clyde: Uh, well, sir, I'm a man of few regrets. But out of curiosity, to which move would you be referring?
Victor: Everybody knows who runs the trucking business in Salem.
Clyde: No mystery there.
Victor: It is my business. Mine! I have been running it for decades. Do you understand me?
Clyde: Oh, I do. And I think it's about time for a change. Time for some new blood.
Ben: Jordan, I am really sorry. Clyde said he wanted to donate some money to a worthy cause to give back to the community.
Ben: He overheard Abigail talking about this project and how tough it was to get it off the ground. And when he found out it was your idea, he just--
Jordan: Oh, he just swooped in and saved the day, right?
Ben: He insisted that the donation be anonymous. I knew how much this project meant to you, Jordan. Look at me. And I know how many people it could help.
Jordan: No--don't you see what he's doing? Are you really that blind, Ben?
Abigail: Jordan, listen to me. It's not Ben's fault, okay?
Abigail: It's not. Look, we both knew how upset you would be about Clyde being the anonymous donor, okay? But I was worried that we weren't gonna be able to raise the money, and I--I don't know. I thought that--I thought that you would never find out where the money came from.
JJ: So I wouldn't be beholden to him in any way, right?
Jordan: Except that Clyde never meant for it to be anonymous for very long.
Abigail: What are you talking about? I mean, how could he know that Ben--
Jordan: Okay, okay, maybe he didn't expect for it to come out this way in this very moment. But sooner or later, Clyde wanted me to find out.
Chad: Let's just get out of here.
Anne: Excuse me for interrupting your little coffee klatch, but maybe you recall there is a press conference going on out there? Okay, now Kate Roberts, she's out there going on and on about the incomparable generosity of Clyde Weston. Now if you two don't get out there, no one's gonna know anything about this project other than who funded it. So do you want it to fail?
Eve: Paige is not at the house, so we could meet at my place.
JJ: Yeah, no, that's not happening. I'm not going over there.
Eve: Okay, you know what? Let's go to the park, all right? I don't want anyone to see us leave together, so let's say the south side in ten minutes.
JJ: I can't.
Eve: If you care about Paige's happiness, you'll be there, JJ.
Daphne: You think JJ hooked up with that? No.
Paige: Why not? They used to be a couple.
Daphne: For, like, a nanosecond.
Paige: Bev never missed a chance to let me know that she wanted him back.
Daphne: Why would he want her? You go up to her and tell that skank where to go.
Paige: No. I don't even know for sure. JJ made his own choice.
Daphne: I really hate that he did this to you, but if he thought you weren't coming back...
Paige: He couldn't wait one day.
Daphne: But you still love him, don't you? Are you sure there's no way for you guys to work this out?
Bev: Hey, Paige! Did you have a good break. I sure did.
Hope: Aiden told me all about his wife's death, and believe me, he didn't whitewash anything. God, it was so tragic. But no way was it his fault.
Jennifer: But Bree thinks it was.
Hope: Meredith was very unhappy in the marriage, and since Bree was her best friend she holds Aiden responsible for her suicide.
Jennifer: It's just horrible for everyone involved.
Hope: Obviously it was extremely painful...
Hope: For Aiden and chase, and the last thing they need is for her to be dredging everything back up again. You know what she's claiming? She's claiming that he threatened her.
Hope: Yes. So I asked him, of course, about it, and he explained. All he told Bree is that he'd take legal action if she continued to slander his name. But she made it sound like her life was in danger.
Jennifer: All right, did you explain all of this to Kayla?
Hope: What's the point? It's pointless. She's already made up her mind that Aiden's bad news.
Jennifer: But you believe him, right?
Hope: Of course I do. I love-- I love him. And I trust him completely. [Exhales] Wow.
Aiden: You shoulda kept your mouth shut, Bree.
Bree: Hope has a right to know who you really are. Meredith despised you. She told me you wanted her gone, and now she is. I won't watch another friend suffer and--
Aiden: Hope is not your friend. You don't even know what the hell you're talking about. Now I really hoped you wouldn't push things this far, but now that you have...
Bree: What? What are you gonna do?
Aiden: Well, you seem to know what I'm capable of. Do I really need to spell it out for you? I've got to stop her before she ruins everything. Hold it! Come with me.
Victor: I'm aware that you run a two-bit trucking operation in ass-bend, Missouri.
Clyde: That's popular bluff, sir.
Victor: But if you think you can come up here and bluff your way into my territory--
Clyde: Oh, I'm not bluffing my way into anything.
Victor: Oh? Well, then you're delusional.
Clyde: You know, I learned early on that if people get worked up over a little healthy competition, they usually have reason to worry.
Victor: Competition? If you don't realize that you're out of your league, you're in a lot more trouble than I thought you were.
Clyde: Like I said before, I'm a humble man just trying to make a living for myself and my family. But I think there's a need out there for someone like me.
Victor: A hillbilly.
Clyde: No, sir, a man of the people. I've spoken to a good many of your customers, and frankly they just don't seem to be as satisfied as they used to be. I liken it to a neglected housewife who's looking for someone who'd just be a wee bit more attentive to their needs.
Victor: You keep pushing, Weston, and their needs are gonna be the least of your concerns.
Jordan: Of course I do not want this project to fail. I know how many people it could help, but we just--we cannot take the money from Clyde.
Anne: What difference does it make where the money came from?
Ben: Jordan, I wrestled with this a lot.
Abigail: It seemed like we were running out of options, and this really feels like it's the best one.
Chad: What about me?
Abigail: What about you?
Chad: I could donate the money.
Jordan: Chad, that is very generous of you, but--
Chad: Okay, look, but-- but what? I have the money, and I want to help.
Jordan: Okay, I appreciate that, I do, but you can't. You heard what Kate just told the press of the influence I would use to solicit your donation. She would never let the hospital board sign off on that.
Abigail: I mean, Jordan, we don't really have another choice. Look, I understand how you feel, okay? But this is our big launch. And if this flops, I hate to say it, but Anne is right. All those people that we were gonna help will just be out of luck.
Anne: Well, people, the reporters, they're not gonna stand around while you spend time wringing your hands, okay?
Chad: Hey, we're gonna find a way to make this work. Clyde isn't gonna win. Let's go.
Anne: Come on. Come on.
Bev: Aren't you gonna ask me what I did over the break?
Bev: Okay, no need to be rude about it.
Paige: JJ already told me, okay?
Bev: Really? Ooh, do you wanna see my pictures?
Daphne: Paige, don't.
Paige: Uh, what's this?
Bev: Capri. Or maybe Croatia. You know, when you're on a cruise for a month, it all kinda starts to blend together.
Bev: Yeah, I mean, I didn't even mention it to JJ. I guess he just saw my photos online. Aren't they great? You have to scroll. It was so much fun.
Paige: So you were gone for a month. That's, like, the entire break.
Bev: Just got back last night, and it sucks because Italy has the most gorgeous men, and so does France. And I mean men. Not wannabes, like your little JJ. Well, okay, I'm gonna go. Hope you and your boyfriend had a great break as well, freezing your butts off here in Salem. Have a good semester.
Daphne: Well, maybe it wasn't Bev after all.
Eve: [Shivering] Oh, finally.
JJ: Oh, yeah, you're lucky I came at all. What do you want?
Eve: Your mother came to see me. Did you know that? She seems to think that I'm responsible for you and Paige breaking up.
JJ: Well, that's because you are. You forced me.
Eve: I never forced you to have sex with me, JJ, not the first time and not the second time. And I swear to God, if you said one thing to Jennifer then--
JJ: Oh, well, you know, actually, yeah, uh, I went home and I was like, "hey, mom, guess what. I totally just bagged eve, who happens to be your worst enemy. High five."
Eve: That is so not funny, you idiot. Nobody can find out about this. Paige would never forgive me.
JJ: Well, maybe that's what you deserve, eve.
Clyde: Frankly, Victor, I don't understand your hostility. The way I see it, I'm doing you a favor.
Victor: A favor?
Clyde: Sure. Your sons and nephew, they don't like getting their fancy fingernails dirty. So maybe it'd be best if you'd just let go of certain less savory holdings. You got plenty of other interests to keep you busy.
Victor: You don't tell me--
Clyde: No, no, no. You don't tell me where I can and cannot do business. Now, this is the last time you'll summon me here. Salem is my home now too, and I have every intention of making a good life for myself here, and if you don't think there's room enough for the two of us in this town, you rest assured I'll make room. Good day.
Kate: We are just so fortunate that Mr. Weston is part of our community, and even though he wanted to remain anonymous, I think it's wonderful--
Anne: My deepest apologies. We are ready to answer your questions.
Assuming you've worked out the funding...
Abigail: We have.
What services will you be providing exactly?
Abigail: Well, the hospital serves a very large senior population without access to reliable transportation. If we can bring physical rehabilitative therapy and preventative care to them, we're not only improving their quality of life, but we're allowing them to stay in their homes, which will significantly improve their lives overall.
Aiden: Believe me, I've given it a great deal of thought, and it has to be done. Yeah, just let me know when you set it in motion. Thanks.
Aiden: Thank you for driving him. Hey, how was school?
Chase: Boring. We had to write about the best thing we did over winter break.
Aiden: Yeah? And what was yours?
Chase: Playing on my new ps4.
Chase: What? Everyone else went to their grandparents' house or someplace cool. Why can't we go back to our beach house?
Aiden: Actually, chase... talk to you about that. We're not gonna go back.
Chase: This year?
Hope: I never thought I'd say those words about another man beside Bo, but I do. I really do love him.
Jennifer: Wow, that's-- I mean, I'm happy for you. That's great.
Hope: Thanks, coz. I know a lot of people don't feel the same way. To be honest with you, sometimes I really feel guilty.
Jennifer: Well, you do not have to justify anything to me, because I have been exactly where you are. And Bo put you in an impossible situation, hope.
Hope: You know, I know that he thinks or feels that, you know, he's being noble or doing something--I suppose for the greater good, whatever that may be. But I have-- I pray every day he's okay.
Jennifer: I know you still love him.
Hope: Yeah. Like, I support him. I'll always love him. I mean, I've known him forever, right?
Jennifer: Yeah. [Chuckles softly]
Hope: But a part of me is still really angry and incredibly disappointed in that man. How do you decide your job is more important than your family? How is that?
Jennifer: I don't know.
Hope: How do you desert your family?
Jennifer: I don't know, hope, but the thing is, maybe it went on longer than he thought, but that doesn't mean that you can just put your life on hold forever. It's not fair to you. It's not fair to Ciara.
Hope: Exactly. Which is why I have decided to move on and be happy. I really miss Gran.
Hope: It's times like this that I really miss her. God, I wish she was still here, coz.
Jennifer: Oh, I know. Me too. Mm, I love you.
Hope: I love you. I'm so lucky to have you for my cousin.
Jennifer: We have each other.
Hope: Yeah, always.
Daphne: Bev acted like she had no clue you and JJ broke up. And if she was gone the whole break...
Paige: Who knows? She lies about everything. Maybe she's just trying to torment me.
Daphne: I'm going to find out.
Daphne: I'm just gonna come right out and ask her.
Paige: No, no.
Daphne: Why not? It's killing you not knowing.
Paige: The only thing that could make me feel worse right now is knowing that JJ cheated on me with her.
Daphne: Okay. But I don't think he did. It would make you feel better to know that, wouldn't it?
Paige: What does it matter now?
Daphne: You loved JJ. You deserve to know what really happened. And you need to know before you can move on, don't you?
JJ: Paige already hates me, so what else do you think I have left to lose? Maybe I should tell her exactly what happened.
Eve: Are you really that selfish? JJ, that would destroy her. If you care about her at all-- I don't care if you hate me, but there's nothing that you could do to punish me any more than I'm punishing myself knowing what I've-- JJ, the only person that it would hurt would be Paige. Now, is that what you really want?
JJ: Of course I don't want to hurt her any more than I already have.
Eve: Then you have to promise that you won't say anything to anybody.
JJ: I won't say anything.
Eve: To anyone. If your mother were to find out about this...
JJ: She won't.
Eve: Well, she confronted me before, and she acted like she was suspicious. It sounded to me, and it felt like to me, that maybe you slipped up and said something to her by mistake.
JJ: No, I--no, I didn't, and I won't.
Eve: You--come on, JJ.
JJ: I'm done with this conversation.
Eve: JJ. I just-- I got to make sure that Jennifer does not know. Your eyes really are unique.
Anne: I will get back to you ASAP with my recommendations on the project, starting with no repeats of today. Ever.
Abigail: Yeah, no. That definitely won't happen. You don't have to worry about that.
Anne: Okay. And buck up, Jordan. Things could be worse. At least your donor isn't another beneficent Horton.
Jordan: Can I have a word with you alone?
Abigail: Yes, of course.
Kate: Congratulations, ladies. Job well done.
Chad: You couldn't have timed that any worse if you tried. Way to almost ruin everything.
Ben: I don't need any lectures from you.
Chad: You know, all you-- all you had to do was keep your mouth shut about Clyde. Not a very tall order. But you couldn't stand to let Jordan think I donated that money. Hope it was worth it. Kate. You mind telling me what that song and dance was all about?
Aiden: I just got off the phone with a realtor, and the house is on the market.
Chase: You're selling it?
Aiden: We can still go to the beach. You should see how blue the water is in key west. And it's so warm there--
Chase: I don't want to go to key west. I want to go to our house. Mom loved it there.
Aiden: I know. I know she did. But, look, we can't keep living in the past. We have a great life here in Salem now.
Chase: You just want me to forget mom?
Hope: Oh! Where are you going in such a hurry, honey?
Chase: This is all your fault!
[Repeated knocking on door]
Jennifer: Gee whiz.
Jennifer: What do you want?
Eve: I just wanted you to know that I got some documents in the mail pertaining to the movie rights to jack's book, and as per our agreement, I also wanted you to know that I have signed the latest draft over with no complaints and no comments.
Jennifer: Well, seeing as you are only entitled to the money and nothing else, I should certainly hope so. And my lawyer will send me a copy, you know. So why don't you tell me why you're really here?
Eve: Okay, well, I just thought we should actually discuss something.
Jennifer: And what is that?
Eve: The situation between your son and my daughter.
JJ: I guess that's what just transpired. I did ask you out, yeah.
Paige: Well, in that case, I'd love to.
JJ: No, nurse. I think I'm good to go.
Paige: What if I don't want you to go?
JJ: Well, then I'll stay. A good luck charm for the end of high school.
Paige: JJ, it's beautiful.
JJ: There are times when I think about you being in California, so far away, and us not being able to hang out whenever we want-- I'm going to die.
Paige: I don't understand. What--what do you mean, "we're done"?
JJ: We--we're done. That's all. While you were gone, I thought we were done, so I hooked up with someone else. Paige.
Paige: I thought you didn't start classes till tomorrow.
JJ: I just came in to drop a class.
Paige: Already? Which one?
JJ: Music in film.
Paige: The one we were gonna take together. Because of me?
JJ: I just-- I just think that it's best if we don't have to be around each other.
Paige: No. No, JJ. We're not done here yet.
Kate: Song and dance? I couldn't carry a tune in a bucket.
Chase: Aw, shucks. You sound just like Clyde. You two have been so close lately. Do you expect anybody to believe that you didn't know Clyde donated that money?
Kate: If I had known, don't you think I would've warned him that it was a lost cause? With the likes of Abigail and Jordan in charge, this project is as doomed as the titanic.
Abigail: Jordan, please tell me that you're not gonna quit. I could never pull this off without you, and then it'll just be the worst of both worlds, because we'll take Clyde's money without actually ever helping anyone.
Jordan: I just don't know how I'm gonna do this. Clyde and I-- Abigail, you don't understand. His involvement in this taints everything for me.
Abigail: Okay, look, Jordan, I am really sorry, okay? I am so sorry. You were never supposed to ever find out that Clyde was the donor. No one was. We were obliged legally to honor his wishes to keep this anonymous.
Ben: Clyde even hired a lawyer to make sure. If I didn't open my big mouth, Jordan--
Jordan: Right, you take his money first, and then you make sure he gets all the credit in front of reporters.
Ben: I couldn't just stand there and let--
Jordan: Chad get all the credit?
Ben: For something he didn't do, Jordan. And, of course, he happily let you go on thinking that maybe--
Jordan: So--so let me get this straight. The man who ruined my life, the man who used to beat my little brother when you were a kid, the man who made us spend the last eight years on the run-- better I think he's the one that donated the money than, God forbid, I go on thinking it was Chad?
Ben: Jordan, please--
Jordan: No. No. You know what? I have to go. You know what? I am happy that this project is going forward, but I am really disappointed in you.
Aiden: Hey, chase. Calm down, okay?
Hope: What's wrong?
Chase: Dad's selling mom's house. But you know that, right? Because you're the one making him, aren't you?
Aiden: That is not true. Hope had nothing to do with my decision. She doesn't even know about it.
Chase: You're trying to make me forget about my mom, but I won't, and you will never take her place.
Jennifer: It's funny, because you didn't want to talk about our kids the last time we saw each other, so what changed?
Eve: Well, you completely caught me off guard when you accused me of being responsible for their breakup, so I didn't feel like it was the right time to have a rational conversation, Jennifer.
Jennifer: Well, you wanted them apart, and now they are. Are you honestly standing here telling me that you had nothing to do with that?
Eve: Well, I didn't have anything to do with it. I don't even know what happened. All I know is that Paige is a wreck, and I wanted to get her to open up about it, but she says she doesn't want to talk about it, and it just-- well, it kills me to see her in such pain, and I thought, well, if I knew what was going on, well, then maybe I could help.
Jennifer: I don't know either. I have no idea what's going on.
Eve: Really? It--JJ didn't say anything to you about it?
Jennifer: No. Out of the blue, he just decided that he and Paige are not right for each other anymore.
Eve: Well. I totally agree with him, and-- yeah, I'm just glad he finally realizes that.
Jennifer: Eve, do you--
Eve: No, no, Jennifer, listen to me. I don't know what happened between them, but it's very clear that your son broke my daughter's heart, so I'm gonna ask you-- no, actually, I'm gonna beg you. Be the responsible parent here and keep your son away from my daughter from now on, okay?
Paige: It's really hard to deal with this when there's still so much I don't understand. You told me you loved me, JJ. You were the first guy who ever-- but the second I go away for just a couple days, you hook up with some other girl. You don't do that to someone you love.
JJ: How many times do I have to say? I didn't think you were coming back.
Paige: So it was just that easy to move on, was it? How did I not know I fell for such a jerk?
JJ: Why are you doing this, Paige? Okay, I wish I hadn't hooked up with someone else. I wish I could make it make sense. But I can't. We've been over this so many times.
Paige: But you still haven't told me the whole story. How did it happen? Who was she? Why won't you tell me?
Paige: No. I'm not letting you tell me that it doesn't matter, because it does. I deserve the truth, and I'm not letting you walk away until I get it.
Jordan: Clyde, I know you're in there. Open up.
Clyde: What is your problem?
Jordan: I know exactly what you're up to, you son of a bitch.
Hope: Chase, I would never want you to forget your mother. Not ever.
Aiden: Look, this has nothing to do with hope.
Chase: You're lying!
Aiden: Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey. Come here. I want you to sit down right over here, and I want you to stay here until you calm yourself down. You will not yell at me, and you will not yell at hope. Do you understand me? I'm sorry about that. I don't know what's gotten into him.
Hope: No, no, no, he's upset. He's upset. I understand. Sounds like he's not ready for you to sell the house.
Aiden: We're not using it. It's time. So, you know...
Hope: That's the house on Puget sound that his mother loved, right? If money isn't an issue, why don't you keep it?
Aiden: Do I really have to justify every move I make to you?
Hope: No. I'm not trying to interfere--
Aiden: Well, you are, once again, and this time it's none of your damn business, so...
Jennifer: You know what's funny? I really thought that you came here because you were concerned about our kids. But you just came here to make my son look like the bad guy.
Eve: Because he is the bad guy. Hasn't he hurt my daughter enough?
Jennifer: I have no idea what happened between the two of them, and neither do you. But, eve, I know that they love each other, and if we leave them alone, I think that they can work things out, and I am sure that JJ will do everything he can to make things right.
Eve: Your son broke up with my daughter. That's the only thing that he can do to "make things right," all right? And I'm not gonna allow him to hurt my daughter again, Jennifer.
Jennifer: Maybe Paige hurt him. Have you ever considered that? Listen, Paige is a lovely girl. She really is. But you know what? JJ's a great kid, and you never even gave him a chance, because if you had given him a chance--
Eve: How many chances does this boy need? Really? I mean, he's gonna prove over and over again that he's always gonna do the wrong thing.
Jennifer: You don't even know him. You never even gave him a chance.
Eve: You don't know him. You don't know him. You hide your head in the sand, and you make excuses for this boy. You don't have a clue about this boy or what he does.
JJ: Paige, if there was anything that I could say to make this better, believe me, I would, okay? But going over what went wrong is not gonna help anything, okay? You just need to focus on moving on. You'll be a lot better off.
Paige: But I can't do that until I know the whole truth.
JJ: I already told you--
Paige: Damn it, JJ, I need to know all of it. Who was she? Who did you sleep with?
Chad: Well, it seems like Clyde got exactly what he wanted-- becomes a legit player in Salem and sticks it to Jordan in one fell swoop.
Kate: The donation was made anonymously, Chad.
Chad: Well, you remedied that.
