Theresa: Oh, my God. Ugh. Why do I keep having that same stupid dream? What is wrong with me?
Victor: Oh, Brady.
Victor: Maggie says you're going over to the hospital.
Brady: Yeah, I'm just dropping these papers off for the next board meeting.
Victor: Ah, do me a favor. Would you drop this off, too? It's for Melanie.
Melanie: Found this in my mailbox when I came in this morning.
Maxine: Hmm. Human resources department strikes again.
Melanie: Right, okay. But it says I'm--I'm freelancing and I'm not going to get my benefits until I fix this.
Maxine: Well, her majesty, miss Anne isn't here today.
Melanie: So what am I supposed to do?
Maxine: Get her tomorrow, I guess. You don't have much choice.
Melanie: That's so annoying.
Maxine: Well, take your mind off of it. Tell me about your new year's eve. Did you have fun?
Melanie: Oh, uh, pfft.
Maxine: I ask the wrong question?
Melanie: No. No. Um... what do you do when somebody who is a friend of yours is maybe more than a friend now?
Kayla: So, I was so hoarse by the time I finally got home, I couldn't even say good night.
Hope: Did you have a sore throat?
Kayla: Yes, I had a sore throat because I did all the talking.
Hope: He never spoke?
Kayla: Well, maybe, like, five times.
Hope: Oh, it sounds like you should probably cross him off your list.
Kayla: Yeah, yeah. He's crossed off. No more--no more dinners with, uh, silent bob.
Hope: Why does it seem like you still have something on your mind?
Kayla: Did you and Aiden go out together on new years?
Hope: Yeah, we had a wonder-- I thought you and I had settled this.
Sonny: Hey, will. I guess I was asleep when you came home last night. Can you just call me back? I have something I need to talk to you about. It's really important. And we gotta figure out when to take Ari to go see Gabi again. I just-- I wish you wouldn't have left this morning before I woke up. I really need to talk to you. Can you just call me back, please? Just call me.
Jordan: Sorry, I couldn't help overhearing. How's Gabi doing?
Sonny: As well as you can do when you're in prison and it's the holidays.
Jordan: Mm, sorry. Stupid question.
Sonny: And she hasn't heard what happened to Rafe yet.
Jordan: What are you talking about? What happened to Rafe?
Stefano: My source in the Salem police department informs me that Rafael Hernandez has been relieved of his duties.
Chad: You mean fired? Yeah, I know all about it.
Stefano: You do?
Chad: Who do you think made it happen?
Rafe: Hey. Just got your message. Did you meet with the D.A.?
Aiden: Yeah. I did.
Rafe: Well, don't leave me hanging here, how much prison time am I looking at?
Sonny: Will heard from his grandfather that Rafe was off the police force. He got fired.
Jordan: Fired? Rafe?
Sonny: I'm sorry to drop that on you, but I gotta take off. I have to talk to Chad. Do you know if he's still at the house?
Jordan: Yeah, I think so.
Sonny: All right, thanks. See you later.
Chad: Yeah, I was just about to call and give you the good news.
Stefano: So, you made this happen?
Chad: I did.
Stefano: [Chuckles] That's my boy, all right. Very good. Anyway, please, tell me that there is no way that Rafael can talk his way back onto the force.
Chad: Not right now. Rafe's biggest problem is going to be staying out of prison.
Aiden: It wasn't just me and the D.A. The mayor was at this meeting and so was a representative from the governor's office.
Rafe: Oh, which means they're really going after me, huh?
Aiden: Well, actually they were there at my request.
Aiden: Well, I wanted to remind them all that going after you has certain risks attached.
Rafe: What risks?
Aiden: You made a serious mistake, Rafe, covering for your sister.
Aiden: Okay, but I did a little research to see what else was going on during that time. Now, if the D.A. And the attorney general decide to go after you, they're going to put those explosions in the town square back on the front page. I just reminded them that it was governmental indifference that led to all those deaths and injuries.
Rafe: Okay, and how did they react to that?
Aiden: They were furious.
Rafe: So your strategy, it, uh, it backfired?
Aiden: Decide for yourself.
Hope: Maybe I didn't make myself clear at Christmas. I don't care what your friend, Lisa, thinks of Aiden. He's a good man. And he's been good for me. You know, it really bothers me that you're skeptical about him now. Since I basically asked for your approval before I started dating him. And you gave it to me--
Kayla: Yes, I gave it to you about Bo. Because I don't see any reason for you to be guilty at this point for moving on.
Hope: Okay, so what's changed? I mean, what's this about?
Kayla: Lisa has been talking to her sister-in-law, Bree, Aiden's late wife's best friend.
Hope: And you'd rather listen to what she says about Aiden than what I've told you.
Kayla: No, I'm listening to Bree because she knows Aiden better than either one of us.
Hope: She hates him. Yeah. Aiden told me. Kay, you can't take what she said so seriously. Lighten up.
Kayla: What about what he said?
Rafe: No prison time? None at all?
Aiden: Look, you're not getting off scot-free. You have to sign that agreement--
Rafe: To keep my mouth shut?
Aiden: Until the statute of limitations runs out on what you did.
Rafe: Okay, what if I don't honor the agreement?
Aiden: Then they'll come after you. Look, they hate this deal. All right, but they hate the prospect of new allegations about those explosions even more.
Rafe: It says that I can't apply for reinstatement.
Aiden: I really tried to get rid of that, but they-- they wouldn't budge.
Rafe: Yeah. Okay, what about a P.I.'S license?
Rafe: No? Well... so if I want to make a living, I got to, uh, sharpen up my carpentry skills I guess, huh?
Aiden: I'm really sorry.
Rafe: No, no, don't be sorry. You got to live with the choices you make in life, right? Do you have a pen?
Aiden: Rafe, I want you to know I gave them every argument that I could think of.
Rafe: You've got nothing to apologize for. I'm not going to prison. You're a miracle worker.
Chad: Mm-hmm. Bottom line, Rafe can't be a cop again. Or a PI for a very, very long time.
Stefano: Excellent. Excellent. [Chuckles] Anyway, how is our other project going?
Chad: It's a total disaster. Just the way I planned it.
Stefano: So you have Sonny Kiriakis where you want him, huh?
Chad: Yeah, that would be an understatement.
Chad: I have to go. There's somebody at the door. And I think I know who it is.
Stefano: [Chuckles] This news is too good to sit on. [Chuckles]
Chad: Hey. Come in.
Sonny: I hope this isn't a bad time.
Chad: You're my partner and my best friend. There is no bad time for you. What's up?
Sonny: It's gone, Chad.
Chad: What's gone?
Sonny: Everything. I lost everything.
Brady: You know, granddad, I'm not going to be anywhere near Melanie's floor that she's working on. You have a messenger service at your disposal, so--
Victor: It's a late Christmas gift from Maggie. I want it to have a personal touch.
Brady: I just--I'm really busy today though. I got a couple of things--
Victor: Brady, let me explain to you the concept of doing a favor. This is the way it goes: I say to you, "can you do something for me," and you say, "no problem." Why does everything have to be such a big deal around here?
Maxine: I need details.
Maxine: Just who is this "friend?"
Melanie: I can't tell you. I'm sorry, I know, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. But can you also not tell my dad or Maggie because things are crazy enough.
Maxine: Crazy how?
Melanie: It's like one second he's my buddy, you know, my friend that I talk to about other guys. And then--and then the next second, he's more than that.
Maxine: Well, if you trust him enough to confide in him, what's wrong with having stronger feelings for him now?
Melanie: Well, I don't-- I don't want to ruin our friendship. Especially if we don't know what these feelings are.
Maxine: Well, I get that.
Melanie: Also, he's always had my back, you know. He's always been there for me, and he's been through a lot lately, and whether I mean to do it or not, I kind of have this way of, um, making life--
Melanie: Yeah. Yeah. As I'm sure you know. Um, I'm sure he's trying to forget new year's happened anyway.
Maxine: What if he's not?
Melanie: What if I ruin his life?
Maxine: What if you're the best thing that ever happened to him? Hmm? So what if you're complicated? That's what comes with being a life force, and that's what you are. Being around you makes it almost impossible for a person to feel dead inside.
Maxine: Maybe that's what made this man look at you in a new way all of a sudden.
Melanie: I don't know.
Maxine: Well, you two have the hard part out of the way. You're already friends.
Maxine: That's how me and my husband started out.
Melanie: Ooh, really?
Maxine: You bet. One day we looked at each other and knew that we wanted to be closer.
Melanie: And then?
Maxine: And then, honey, I went with that and never looked back. [Chuckles] But then that's me. [Chuckles]
Theresa: Walking in a park can mean... returning to your innermost self. Or return to innocence. Spiritual? Spiritual, as if. No, I-- I just keep feeling like something's wrong. No, it's worse than that, I feel like something bad's going to happen.
Theresa: What are you doing here?
John: Well, I'm back in town. For good. Oh, I guess no one told you. It's just me. No cops, nobody from the D.A.'S office.
Theresa: Okay, well, you still haven't told me what you're doing here.
John: Well, I'm back in Salem because this is where my life is, and I'm at your apartment because I'm curious.
Theresa: About what?
John: Can we not play this game? You know the only reason I would darken your door is because of Brady. Now I have learned my lesson. I'm not going to interfere in my son's life any more.
Theresa: Okay, great. So why are you bothering me?
John: I just want to make sure that you learned the same lesson.
Melanie: Hi. No, sorry, hi.
Brady: Um, this is for you.
Melanie: Oh, thank you.
Brady: No problem.
Melanie: No, um, wait. I, um... I, uh... I'm just thinking about last night.
Brady: Yeah? What--what about it?
Melanie: Well, do you think that maybe-- I mean, did you get this because--do you think maybe we made that decision too fast?
Brady: Um, I didn't-- that's not from me.
Melanie: Duh. Oh, yeah. I know, yeah, yeah.
Brady: Yeah, it's not-- no, it's not--it's from Maggie.
Melanie: Right, abso--
Brady: And she-- it must have gotten here late or something.
Melanie: Yep, got ya.
Brady: It's not-- it's not from me.
Melanie: Okay. Yeah, yeah, okay. Yeah.
Brady: I-I thought we were on the same page about all of that.
Rafe: You leaving?
Aiden: Uh, no, I'm gonna stick around. Return some calls.
Rafe: Well, okay, hey. No offense, but I hope I don't see much more of you. I owe you. You're a good man.
Aiden: So are you.
Rafe: And I owe hope big time. Now I know why she speaks so highly of you.
Aiden: All right.
Hope: Have you talked to Aiden?
Kayla: No. I ran into Lisa right after Christmas. She told me that Bree called you.
Hope: Yeah, I told you that at the hospital.
Kayla: And that she warned you about Aiden, right?
Hope: Yeah, right. And I told Aiden about it.
Kayla: And what happened then?
Hope: He told me she was his wife's best friend. And that she hated him. That's it. We forgot about it.
Kayla: Well, maybe you did. But Aiden didn't.
Hope: Please, just tell me what are you getting at, Kay?
Kayla: After he talked to you, he called Bree. Did he tell you that?
Kayla: Hmm. So then I guess he probably didn't tell you that he also threatened her, did he?
Victor: You make it sound like it's all over. Sonny's going to have to pull the plug. Where'd you hear that? Where'd he hear it? Well, make it your business to find out and get back to me.
Chad: You lost everything? How is that even possible?
Sonny: The contractors came back with the numbers for repairing the roof. Bottom line: The roof cannot be repaired. We need a whole new roof, and that's going to cost double. So when I heard that, I knew it was over. All right, there's no hope to even turn enough profit to justify spending that kind of money on a space that we're leasing. A half renovated commercial space that needs a new roof, really?
Sonny: The money's gone. Not just yours, the escrow account you set up, that I emptied my entire savings that will and I share. It's all gone. Chad, I am so sorry.
Jordan: Hey. I-I just heard you got fired.
Jordan: Look, I know it's none of my business, I just wanted to say that I'm really sorry.
Jordan: Do you mind telling me how did this happen?
Rafe: Well, I screwed up. Put myself above the law. But, you can't be surprised. It's kinda what I do, don't you think?
Hope: I need details. Do you know what Aiden said to Bree?
Kayla: All I know is that she said he sounded really angry, and warned her not to call you again.
Hope: Those were his exact words?
Kayla: Well, I don't know what he said exactly, but she said to--
Hope: Yeah, exactly. I mean, what do we really know about Bree's background? I don't know her that well. Is she reliable? Is she truthful? Is she honest?
Kayla: Well, Lisa thinks that she's--
Hope: Lisa--Lisa's her sister-in-law. What would she--
Kayla: Are you interrogating me? I mean, honestly, I don't-- I'm just giving you the information.
Hope: What I'm trying to tell you is I've known Aiden for months. I've seen him in all different kinds of situations, Kay. He is not a man that makes threats. Now if you ask me, she misconstrued everything he said. Maybe she's trying to cause trouble.
Kayla: I don't know. Why don't you call her and ask her what she's doing?
Hope: I don't need to call her. I don't need to hear what she has to say. I know Aiden. And this is not him. You know, I really wish you'd listen to what I have to say, instead of people you barely know. Thanks, Kay.
Theresa: You've been talking to Victor Kiriakis, haven't you? What happened? Did you two ladies run into each other at the beauty parlor and he filled you in on all the dirt?
John: It doesn't matter where I heard it, it's what I heard.
Theresa: Well, I assume you're talking about my pregnancy scare. Yep. It's true. But I guess it never crossed your mind that Brady would be too careless to use protection, so you just went right to me and my agenda, right? Because God knows I would do anything to keep Brady in my life.
John: Well, you know, I might have given you the benefit of a doubt, but I learned from experience that's a bad idea.
Theresa: You know what? I couldn't care less about Brady, and I couldn't care less whether you believe me or not. What matters is how I feel, and I have so moved on. From Brady and from your whole miserable family. So, you know what? Why don't you just keep your promise and stay out of his life, and while you're at it, stay out of mine.
Melanie: No, we're--we're on the same page. On new year's, that didn't happen. Nothing--nothing-- ask me what happened. I stayed home alone and I...
Both: Watched the ball drop.
Melanie: That's what I did.
Brady: Listen, um, you just said--
Melanie: No. No, no, no. No, no, no. No, no, no. I-I, um, we, um, um, I thought-- well, I was trying to, uh, I didn't want to embarrass you. So, when you said that Maggie-- that this was from Maggie, I was, like, whew, dodged that bullet, you know. I gotta go because it's time-- I feel like it's time for me to pass out medicine...
Brady: Are you sure you don't want to--
Melanie: To everybody around the, um, around the hospital.
Melanie: Bye. Oh. Super smooth, Melanie.
Jordan: Rafe, you are not a screw-up, and I would never think of you that way.
Jordan: I know what being a cop meant to you.
Rafe: Well, it's okay. I'm getting used to losing the things that are important to me.
Jordan: I do still care about you, and I always will. I'm just really sorry that this happened to you.
Rafe: Well, thanks. And I will always care about you, too. So... how was your Christmas?
Jordan: Good. I wish yours had been better for you.
Rafe: [Chuckles] Well, thanks. Could have been a hell of a lot worse. I've picked myself up and started over before. I'll just have to do it again.
Jordan: Any idea what you're going to do now that you can't be a cop?
Victor: What? How the hell did that happen?
Chad: When I took this new position, I started reading up on all these different people who have made it in business. Did you know that before Henry ford made it big with his car company, he failed at over five different businesses? He went broke every single time.
Sonny: Is that supposed to make me feel better?
Chad: What I'm saying is there are lessons to be learned. All you have to do is listen.
Sonny: The lesson I needed to learn was not throw good money after bad.
Sonny: The space I leased was a loser, okay? But I kept telling myself I can make this work. It--it's, uh, it's like I had to make it work.
Chad: I just can't believe you put your own money into this. What else was I supposed to do? I couldn't come to you for more money. Now it's done.
Chad: What's that?
Sonny: I'm signing my interest in TBD over to you. So, just sell it, I guess. I don't know, and just see if you can make some money back.
Chad: Just hold on a minute there, buddy, because you don't honestly think you're getting off that easy, do you?
Aiden: Well, the good news is Rafe's not going to prison.
Hope: And the bad news?
Aiden: He can't apply to be reinstated on the police force. And since they are the ones that issue the private investigator's license--
Hope: He can't even do that.
Aiden: Yeah, well. I really, really tried to get rid of that, but no dice.
Hope: If the department won't give him a reference, he can't even be a security guard or a night watchman.
Aiden: I just wish I could have come up with some strategy for that, but-- I mean, Rafe, he looked so lost when he left here.
Hope: Well, secrets have a way of coming back to bite you.
Aiden: Yes, yes they can. Is everything okay?
Hope: Yeah. Why do you say that?
Aiden: I don't know, you just seem a little bit, um, like you got something on your mind. Is something wrong?
Hope: Yes. And I'm furious about it.
Maxine: Your office sent the wrong information to payroll on Melanie Jonas. If you don't fix it, she won't get her benefits.
Theresa: Okay, well, that's Anne's department.
Maxine: Anne called in sick today, that makes it your department. Payroll thinks Melanie is freelance. Now you need to straighten that out as soon as possible.
Maxine: Like today. She's on a break. She told me she'd be in the waiting room if you want to talk to her. Girl, don't make me call payroll myself.
Theresa: Oh, my gosh. Yes, ma'am.
Melanie: Titan industries. Brady's. Maybe he's coming back.
Theresa: Maybe who will be back?
Melanie: Nobody. Forget it.
Theresa: All right, lose the attitude, okay? I just came here to help you.
Melanie: If you want to help me, you can go away. And, by the way, I'll have whatever attitude I would like to have.
John: Yo, kid. Hey.
Brady: Dad, hey.
John: Where are you off to in such a hurry?
Brady: I'm not in a hurry. Just--
John: Well, good, good. I need to talk to you about something. I saw Theresa this morning.
Brady: You ran into her?
John: No, I went looking for her.
Brady: Dad, dad, you shou--
John: No, no, no, li-- no, no, no. It's nothing like that. I'm not going to make it a habit, but it's just that now that I'm back in town for good, I thought that she should know exactly what the ground rules are.
Brady: Dad, you shouldn't-- all right, look, look. It's fine, it's fine. I'm glad you told me, thank you.
John: And I'm glad I told you, too. Now, I can see that you need to get somewhere.
Brady: No, it's not that I want too, I just-- I was at the hospital this morning, and I had some files that I wanted to get to the boardroom for their next proposal, and I-I-I-I put the envelope down, I never got into the boardroom, and I got distracted is what I'm trying to say.
John: Everything all right?
Brady: Everything's fine. Everything's fine. When I get back to the office, I will call you, we'll do something, all right?
John: All right, that sounds good. Take off.
Brady: All right, see you.
John: Yeah, see you, kid.
Rafe: Yes. I'm off the police force. And that's all I want to say about it.
Victor: What happened to make you quit? Don't tell me you were fired. Well, I'll take care of that. I'll get that idiot, Roman Brady, on the phone--
Rafe: Victor. Don't.
Victor: Why not?
Rafe: Because it's over and done with, and there's nothing you can do.
Victor: How do you know?
Rafe: Because I know. I've got somewhere to be. Thanks for giving a damn. Both of you.
Victor: I suppose he told you all about it.
Jordan: I'm sorry, Mr. Kiriakis. I don't know any more than you. Excuse me.
Sonny: Chad, all I have to give you is--is club TBD. I told you, I emptied out my savings. I mean, if you think my family settled a bunch of money on me, you're wrong. You don't know my uncle vic.
Chad: Okay. You're nuts if you think that I want anything from you.
Sonny: You said you weren't letting me off the hook.
Chad: That doesn't mean I want your share of TBD or whatever money you have left.
Sonny: Then what do you want?
Chad: We're partners. You're my best friend. I don't give a damn what the contract says, all right? We're in this together.
Sonny: You lost more money than I did.
Chad: That was the deal. I'm the money. You're the brains.
Sonny: I wasn't too brainy this time around.
Chad: We took a risk together and it didn't pay off. It happens. Doesn't mean I'm going to dump you because of it. You're the guy who made TBD into the success that it is. All right, when something else comes around, something that's right, we'll make that a success together, too. That's why I told you the story about Henry ford. His problem? He wasn't thinking big enough. And maybe that's us, too.
Sonny: I don't-- I don't even know what to say.
Chad: Say you're never going to quit, and be the Sonny that I know.
Sonny: Thank you.
Sonny: Thank you so much.
Chad: Mm-hmm. Now get out of here. I got work to do.
Sonny: I'm not going to forget this. I owe you one.
Chad: Oh, yes, you do. Apples may fall, but the apples of your cheeks don't have to.
Aiden: I am not going to let it go. You said you were furious about something, I want to know what it is.
Hope: No. No. We're here to have a nice time.
Aiden: How am I going to have a nice time if I'm sitting here worried about you, right?
Hope: I ran into Kayla.
Aiden: What about her?
Hope: It's--it's, um, Portland all over again.
Hope: Kayla's friendly with Bree's sister-in-law, Lisa. Lisa told her something that Bree said.
Aiden: About me?
Aiden: What did she say?
Hope: You know, I'm so angry, I'm not--no, I won't dignify it by repeating it.
Aiden: No, just tell me, hope, what did she say?
Theresa: You know, I don't care what Maxine does. This dump doesn't pay me enough to deal with you.
Melanie: Oh, wait, wait, whoa, whoa. You talked to Maxine?
Theresa: Yeah. Why else would I be here?
Melanie: So this is about my pay status.
Theresa: Well, it was until you copped an attitude, and so now you're going to have to wait till tomorrow when Anne returns.
Melanie: No, no, no, wait. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. They have me down as freelance, so I don't have health insurance. I can't wait until tomorrow.
Theresa: Fine, look, there's a form that you can fill out that'll upgrade your pay.
Melanie: Okay. How do I fill that out?
Theresa: Well, beats me. I don't know, I wasn't here for the training.
Melanie: Do wha--it's a form, how hard is it?
Theresa: Let me put this another way to you. I don't really feel motivated to go the extra mile for you.
Melanie: I feel like it would be in your best interest to get motivated.
Theresa: Is that a threat?
Melanie: I figured that was pretty obvious. But listen, if something as simple as filling out a form makes your brain hurt, I can definitely dumb it down for you.
Theresa: Wow, you really are a bitch.
Melanie: See, I am a bitch, and I'm just getting started.
Brady: Hey, hey, hey. Come on. Break it up.
Sonny: You heard.
Victor: Yes. I just have one question. Why didn't you come to me for help?
Sonny: I did. You said no.
Victor: I knew that second club was a mistake. I didn't want you wasting money on an expensive renovation. Obviously you ignored that advice.
Sonny: Yeah, well, I'm not ignoring it anymore.
Victor: Well, it's too late. It's a whole new level of complication. You signed that contract with Chad. Has he taken over your share of this place yet?
Sonny: No. He's not going to.
Victor: How do you know that?
Sonny: 'Cause I just came from talking to him. And he doesn't want an issue between the two of us. We're still partners. And even better, we're still best friends. I know how disappointed you must be.
Victor: I am disappointed. I was hoping by now you'd see Chad for what he is.
Sonny: You're the one who only sees what he wants to see.
Chad: And Sonny was ready to sign over his shares of the club. Should have seen his face when I wouldn't take it.
Stefano: [Chuckles] You know, you have impressed me twice in one day.
Chad: That must be some kind of record.
Stefano: You not only neutralized Rafael, but you also placed a Kiriakis in your debt. [Chuckles] You know, you set Sonny up, and yet he continues to trust you completely.
Chad: Ah, it's not like I don't like the guy.
Stefano: No, listen to me. You can like anybody that you want, you understand? But remember, leverage is always a good thing. Even with the people that you care about, huh?
Rafe: Don't worry about it. I know the way.
Chad: I'm gonna have to call you back. Detective Hernandez. To what do I owe the pleasure?
Rafe: Oh, cut the crap. I'm not a detective anymore.
Rafe: And I'm pretty sure you know why.
Sonny: Look, I know that you're busy, but this is really important. No, I ca--what--what are you-- I can't understand what you're saying. What? Hello, Will. Will. [Sighs]
Rafe: The two of us are going to have this out.
Chad: Have what out, Rafe? I honestly--I don't even know what you're talking about.
Rafe: Well, I'm talking about an anonymous letter that got me fired from a guy who wasn't man enough to do his dirty work on his own. Does that ring a bell, DiMera?
Chad: The police department fired you because of an anonymous letter? Don't you have the right to face your accuser? I would complain if I were you.
Rafe: Yeah, you don't play dumb. You can play dumb all you want. It's funny though, because, um, when I was coming after you and your family, and then I got fired.
Rafe: I just wanted to let you know you've made things worse for yourself.
Chad: Now I really don't know what you're talking about.
Rafe: Yeah, well, now the playing field is level.
Rafe: I don't have to follow the rules. I'll see you around.
Jordan: Did you do it?
Chad: Hey. How long have you been--
Jordan: Did you get Rafe fired? Answer me.
John: I put Theresa on notice. She claimed she wants no part of Brady anymore.
Victor: You don't believe that, do you?
John: Oh, hell, no.
