Aiden: Thank you so much for meeting me.

Hope: It sounded important. Thank you. Thanks for the tea.

Aiden: Uh, it is. Now, it's my understanding that both Ciara and chase have play practice until five.

Hope: Chase is in the play too?

Aiden: Uh, no, actually he's stage managing.

Hope: Oh, that's right. Ciara mentioned that.

Aiden: Yeah, yeah, right. Anyway, um, I was hoping that you could get off work a little bit early.

Hope: Oh, um...let me see. I think I could wrap things up in about a half hour, why?

Aiden: I'd love a chance to make up for last night.

Hope: You don't have to do that.

Aiden: I really want to.

Hope: If you insist.

Aiden: I do.

Hope: Okay.

Aiden: And I'd also like to make up for our family movie night soon, but--

Nicole: Oh, my God. It must be fate. You are the answer to my prayers.

Abigail: Aunt Kayla? Hi.

Kayla: Hi.

Abigail: I am here to officially accept my job offer. If--if it's still on the table, that is.

Kayla: Of course it is.

Abigail: Great. So, um, what's next? Should I go over to hr and maybe fill out some tax forms?

Kayla: No, I'm sure they have all your information still on file, and I want to save you the Anne Milbauer experience. But listen, baby, I want to tell you something. You don't need to rush into this. If you want to take a little time and think about it, that's okay.

Abigail: No... unless you think I should?

Kayla: No, listen, are you kidding me? I want you back as soon as possible, the sooner, the better, but I just hate to see you and Ben fighting.

Abigail: Ben is positive that the reason Chad got me my job back is just to manipulate me. Is that what you think too?

Sonny: What's going on?

Ben: Abigail got her job back at the hospital.

Sonny: That's great.

Ben: Hmm.

Sonny: Isn't it?

Ben: Yeah. I'm really happy for her.

Sonny: What's wrong?

Ben: Chad was the one who made it happen.

Chad: You have no idea how much I want to kiss you right now. But, I won't. Because I don't want to be a jerk and take advantage of--

Theresa: I'm carrying your child. Aren't you going to say something? I just told you that I'm pregnant... with your baby. I think that deserves a response.

Kayla: You know, Abigail, I have no idea what's going on in Chad's mind.

Abigail: But?

Kayla: But, I'm just saying, you know, he can't manipulate you if you don't let him.

Abigail: Hmm. So, in other words, you agree with Ben, then? You think that Chad has an agenda and I'm just doing exactly what he wants?

Kayla: Sweetheart, listen. The two of us know his history. And, maybe Chad feels bad for lying to you and he wants to make things right now. Or, maybe--

Abigail: Maybe he hasn't changed at all and maybe--maybe he's just doing this to get between me and Ben.

Kayla: Again, like I said--

Abigail: He can't do that unless I let him. But Ben is so jealous, I mean, he has no reason to be insecure about Chad.

Kayla: Well, Chad's Ben's boss, right? I mean, how's that going?

Abigail: Not great.

Kayla: Yeah. Well, Ben, you know, has been working really hard to make an honest living. Where Chad is a DiMera and he has all the wealth and power that anybody could ever ask for. And Chad was your first love. You know? So, I don't know, maybe there is just a little justification that Ben might feel insecure.

Sonny: Before EJ died, Chad was very angry at his brother. He knew that EJ took advantage of Abigail, and she did not deserve to lose her job over the morals clause. I think this is his way of... trying to make things right.

Ben: To be nice?

Sonny: Yes.

Ben: Sorry, Sonny, I can't buy that.

Sonny: You don't think Chad wants to get back with Abigail, do you? Because earlier, you were upset about him seeing your sister. So, which one is it?

Chad: Uh, Jordan, I hope you--I didn't mean to take advantage of--

Jordan: You didn't. I'm the one who kissed you.

Chad: Yes, you did.

Both: [Chuckle]

Aiden: Uh, what is it you think that I can do for you?

Nicole: Well, I am doing the lamest human interest piece, and I just wish my boss, miles, would actually take advantage of my true talents.

Aiden: Which are?

Nicole: Juicy exposes.

Hope: [Scoffs] Of course.

Nicole: Anyway, this piece is about professionals relocating to the glorious town of Salem and how great it is here, yada, yada, yada. I understand [Clears throat]-- Hi...I understand you're from Portland.

Aiden: Yes.

Nicole: You are so darn photogenic. I--you would be the one thing that actually would make this piece watchable.

Aiden: No, thank you. I'm just not interested.

Nicole: Yeah, but come on, it'd be great, why won't you--

Aiden: Nicole, please, I'm-- I'm not going to do it.

Brady: You are so-- "Brady, I'm pregnant."

Theresa: You know, I don't see what's funny.

Brady: No, it is--

Theresa: About me being pregnant with your child.

Brady: It's hilarious, Theresa, that you would think that I would actually believe another one of your lies. It is funny.

Theresa: I'm not lying.

Brady: Where have I heard that before? Listen, if you're worried about my father pressing attempted murder charges on you, relax, it's not gonna happen.

Theresa: Brady, that's not what I care about, I swear, I--

Brady: Theresa, you can swear on your mother's life about anything and I wouldn't believe it, especially not this.

Nicole: You didn't even let me finish pitching my story.

Aiden: I don't want to be part of the lamest story ever, no, thank you.

Nicole: All right, let's not forget about the story you did ruin for me.

Aiden: That was me doing my job, protecting my client.

Nicole: Okay, this is me doing my job, you owe me.

Aiden: Maybe next time.

Nicole: All right, I thought we were friends.

Hope: She has a unique definition of "friend."

Aiden: Apparently so.

Nicole: Think of it this way. Think of it as a free commercial for your law firm. Injured in a car accident?

Aiden: Nicole, please, please, please--I'm not going to do it. Thank you.

[Knock at door]

Paul: Dr. Brady.

Kayla: Hello.

Paul: This must be the physical therapist I've been hearing so much about.

Kayla: No, actually. This is Abigail, she's from the pr department.

Paul: Of course there's not gonna be any pr on me.

Abigail: No, no, absolutely not, I just wanted to say thank you so much for your very, very generous donation to the pt suite. I'll be handling all of the details and I was just hoping maybe you had a few minutes?

Paul: I don't have anywhere else to be.

Kayla: Well, I do, so I'm gonna leave you two to talk, all right? Somebody knows how to find me if you need me, all right?

Paul: Thank you.

Abigail: Well, I understand that you are having rotator cuff surgery? Dr. Jonas is the best in his field.

Paul: That's why I'm here.

Abigail: So, how did you hurt your shoulder?

Paul: I was snagging a fly.

Abigail: A fly?

Paul: Oh, a fly ball. During batting practice.

Abigail: Oh, baseball. I'm not much of a fan.

Paul: Never would have guessed.

Abigail: Well, um, Jordan, your physical therapist, is probably gonna recommend that you lay off of all recreational sports for a while. I don't know what it is you do for a living, but I'm sure you don't want to be sidelined like this again.

Paul: For sure.

Abigail: Regarding the donation, like I said, it's a very generous donation. Are you sure that you want it to be anonymous?

Paul: Very.

Abigail: Okay, then you should know that you have my discretion.

Paul: Well, I didn't have any doubts. You look very trustworthy.

Abigail: Well, uh, I have an appointment to get to, so, um, let's just get to it, shall we? Okay.

Sonny: I thought you wanted to talk to Chad and smooth things over.

Ben: I did, but, you know, that's becoming harder and harder for me now. And I don't know how the hell I'm supposed to compete, and...

Sonny: You're not competing with Chad.

Ben: And what makes you so sure about that?

Sonny: Even if Chad wants to get back together with Abigail, she obviously wants you. Which brings me back to the reason why I'm glad I ran into you.

Ben: Which is?

Sonny: Come on, I'll show you.

Chad: I hope you're feeling a little better.

Jordan: Thanks, I-I am.

Chad: You ever need anything, even if it is just to talk, I'm here.

Jordan: Thank you. But, I feel like this is something I'm gonna have to work out on my own.

Chad: I understand. But, just so you know, you're not alone.

Jordan: I appreciate that. I gotta get home and get ready for work. But, thank you... for everything.

Chad: I hope I see you soon.

Jordan: Me too.

Chad: Okay.

Jordan: Okay.

Brady: Did you actually believe that if you walked in here and made me believe that you were pregnant, it would make things better? That you're carrying my baby, that's the last thing I would want.

Theresa: That is a very hurtful thing to say right now.

Brady: Is that hurtful? You know what's hurtful? The fact that you were thrilled that Maggie and my dad... tried to come between us. Because that pushed me right into your arms. You loved it, you know, you played me. You played me, I was high as a kite, and you did everything in your power to keep me that way, and you pulled me away from my friends and my family. The closest people I have in this town while I wasted my time with you. Let's not forget the worst part. Where you lied about the whole Liam psycho scenario and put my closest friends in danger. And then the cherry on top, you hit my dad in the head, put him in a coma and you made me think that I did it, Theresa.

Theresa: Shut up, Brady! Look, I do not need a recap of the mistakes that we have made, okay? What matters now is the future, and our future includes a baby that we made, whether you like it or not. I am pregnant. I'm not lying, and I can prove it.

Nicole: All right, you don't have to get all huffy about it. I'm going. Excuse me.

Aiden: I'm sorry if I was a bit curt with her, it's just that I don't want to be on titan TV live at 5, following the pet adoption story, you know?

Hope: I don't blame you.

Aiden: Right.

Hope: I also know you don't like to talk about Portland.

Aiden: Well, what makes you say that?

Hope: Aiden, come on. I saw how uncomfortable you were after you ran into Bree yesterday.

Aiden: Did you see her again?

Hope: No. Why?

Chad: Nice day, isn't it?

Rafe: Let's cut the small talk, DiMera. I don't know what you're up to with Jordan--

Chad: What makes you think I'm up to anything?

Rafe: Well, because you're a DiMera, you're always up to something.

Chad: Oh, now, here I thought we were old friends.

Rafe: Well, that was before I found out what you did to my sister. Ever since you've come back to Salem--

Chad: No, hold on a second, wait--what did I do to your sister? I saved Gabi from going to prison after what she did to Melanie. Now, of course, she didn't make very good use of her freedom, did she? I guess by your twisted logic, nick's death is my fault too?

Rafe: Don't you dare talk about my sister.

Chad: No, let me get this straight. I'm a bad person because I'm a DiMera. You have a sister who went to prison for murder, another who went to the slammer for doing drugs--what does the name Hernandez make you?

Rafe: Oh, you son of a--

Abigail: Well, I just met the new mystery patient. If we both sign confidentiality agreements, then that mean we're allowed to talk about 'em together, right?

Jordan: Wait, how come you--

Abigail: Oh, I got my old job back.

John: Abigail, come here! That's great.

Abigail: Thank you. So, um, what does this guy do for a living? Is he some kind of mogul or something?

Jordan: I have no idea. I am on my way to meet him right now.

Abigail: Well, he's really nice--cute, kind of a flirt.

Jordan: Thanks for the warning.

Abigail: Yeah, you know, he just donated a huge amount of money to your department, but he doesn't want anyone to know about it, which is sort of weird, I don't get it.

Jordan: Hmm, I'll see what I can find out.

Abigail: Uh, hey, Jordan. Before you go, did you talk to your brother today?

Jordan: No, why?

Abigail: I just--I have something that I need to clear up with him.

Jordan: Nothing serious, I hope.

Abigail: Me too. All right, I'll let you get back to work. Bye.

Paul: You must be my pt.

Jordan: I am, I am Jordan-- oh, my God, you're Paul Narita. I hate you. I mean, you're an amazing pitcher, but you killed my red sox last year. And I felt terrible, but I couldn't bring myself to vote for you for the all-star team. I mean, I was glad that you made it, 'cause you totally deserved it, but--I mean, a 1.42 E.R.A.? Would it be terribly inappropriate if I asked you for your autograph?

Paul: Not at all.

Ben: Wow. Sonny, this is perfect.

Sonny: Yeah, my friend lived here, got a job out of town, so I thought this place might be along the lines of what you're looking for. It's not even for rent yet. So if you're interested...

Ben: I mean, it just depends on how much the rent is.

Sonny: It's a lot cheaper than the apartment you were looking at in the DiMera building.

Ben: Can I give you an application, or, you know, bank statements, references, whatever you need.

Landlord: Not necessary. If Sonny Kiriakis vouches for you, then all I need is first and last month's rent.

Ben: Seriously?

Landlord: You can move in today. Congratulations.

Ben: Thanks, man.

Theresa: Do you remember the night that I brought over the annulment papers? You grabbed me and we went upstairs and we wound up in bed. You were really upset about something. But you were definitely sober. So I know you remember. And you were all over me. You definitely wanted me. You know what, in that moment, we weren't thinking about anything, so, no, I didn't bring protection, Brady, because I didn't think that I would need it.

Brady: You weren't taking something?

Theresa: Why would I be? You broke up with me. And then, the night that we talked about starting over, we didn't use anything that time either. You know, if my being pregnant with your child really is the last thing that you wanted, then maybe you should have done something to prevent it.

Brady: You know what, Theresa--

Theresa: You know, I can't fake a pregnancy, Brady. We're having a baby.

Brady: Even if that's true, I don't know it's mine.

Aiden: No reason. Really, I was just wondering. That's all.

Hope: I better get back to work if we want to have time together later.

Aiden: Okay, well, I'm so sorry about that.

Hope: Leave it to Nicole.

Aiden: Hey?

Hope: Yeah?

Aiden: Will you give me a call later this afternoon, we can figure out something to do?

Hope: Yeah.

Aiden: All right.

Hope: Okay.

Aiden: All right.

Hope: Bye.

Aiden: [Sighs]

Nicole: So? Maybe there is a juicy story here after all, hmm? What's the real deal?

Rafe: Yeah. See, you've been provoking Ben for weeks, but I'm not letting you do that to me.

Chad: I wouldn't want another Hernandez behind bars. I mean, do you know how they treat cops in there?

Rafe: See, you can play all the mind games you want, but if you hurt Jordan--

Chad: Wait, how would I do that? Tell her I love her and then climb into bed with my ex? I mean, you set the bar pretty low, Rafe. But I wouldn't hurt Jordan the way that you did, so you have nothing to worry about. Have a good day.

Rafe: Yeah.

Theresa: I had fun with you, Brady. I liked the way that you mocked those preachy AA types. You know how to have a good time anywhere, any time. No matter who stood in our way.

Brady: It was a terrible time.

Theresa: Well, it wasn't for me. Yeah, I liked the martinis. And the coke and the way you spent money on me. And the private jets, they were a bonus. But the sex... that's what was really amazing. And I know that you might not believe this, but it meant something to me. People call me a slut, but you're the one who slept with Kristen and Nicole and Chloe and what's-her-name Hernandez? And those are only the ones that I know about, so you can take your double standard and shove it. Because from the time you and I got together, you are the only one that I've been with, Brady. The only one. [Cries] So, um... where do we go from here?

Brady: I think we need a test.

Aiden: I apologize if I overreacted earlier.

Nicole: If?

Aiden: My son and I, we got into it over spelling homework this morning, and--

Nicole: Yeah, well, who needs spelling when you have spell check?

Aiden: See, now that's exactly what chase said. But, anyway, I apologize for my bad mood and you know what? Maybe I can find you another willing subject.

Nicole: You don't have to do this.

Aiden: No, I'm just trying to be helpful, that's all.

Nicole: That's not what I mean.

Aiden: What do you mean?

Nicole: I've been there, Aiden. You know, I think I'm all cool and collected and no one knows I'm keeping a secret. But you're about as subtle as a herd of elephants. Look, hope might be uppity and annoying, but I do concede that she is a smart cop. And I would be surprised if she didn't see it too.

Rafe: Hope.

Hope: Oh!

Rafe: My God, I'm sorry, I-- I did not mean to startle you. Sorry.

Hope: It's, it's fine, you just--you caught me by surprise.

Rafe: Okay, well, if it's a bad time, I'll come back later.

Hope: No, it's fine, it's fine, come on in. Just don't do that again, all right?

Rafe: Okay, I won't, wow. A little edgy, huh?

Hope: Oh, that makes two of us, doesn't it?

Rafe: Bad day.

Hope: Ditto.

Rafe: Haven't seen you in a while.

Hope: Yeah. How are you?

Rafe: Eh. You? I heard about the divorce. Really sorry.

Hope: Yeah. Thanks.

Rafe: So, I don't want to mind your personal life.

Hope: But--I know you're going to.

Rafe: I heard you're seeing Aiden Jennings.

Hope: Yeah, I am.

Rafe: Well, I don't know him that well. Heard he's a stand up guy. And as sorry as I am that things didn't work out with you and Bo I think that moving on, as hard as that must be, is the right thing to do. And, clearly, that was way too presumptuous of me to talk about something so personal, I'm sorry, I just-- I can only imagine how hard it is for you and Ciara without Bo, and... I'm still talking about this, aren't I?

Hope: No, Rafe, it's not--you didn't say anything wrong. What's--what's bothering me has, um... nothing to do with Bo.

Jordan: Some doctors prefer a longer rest period, my personal preference is to get you moving as soon as possible.

Paul: That's mine too.

Jordan: Dr. Jonas will of course have the last say. And I just want you to know that once we do get started, I have been called a drill sergeant. Well, and a lot worse, actually.

Paul: And you're a sox fan? Unlike that cute woman from pr who was in here earlier. Probably has never even heard of the sox, or any other team, for that matter. Doesn't have a clue about baseball.

Jordan: Right, not really Abigail's thing.

Paul: But, it's yours.

Jordan: I do like it, yeah.

Paul: Well, I'm glad that you're a fan.

Jordan: Well, that depends on what team you end up on after all this is over.

Paul: Well, neither of us have a crystal ball, but, uh... I'm glad to be working with you, ms. Ridgeway.

Jordan: Same here.

Theresa: Okay. Sure, you know what, if you want to see a test, I don't have a problem with that. I didn't bring the one from home because I wasn't expecting that you would need to see it, but look, I'll go to the pharmacy and I'll pick up a box and I'll be right back.

Brady: Hold on, hold on. Hold on, no, no, no. Yeah, right, okay. You bring the test back, you disappear to the bathroom and you announce, hey, it's positive, that's supposed to be proof?

Theresa: What do you want to do, just stand over me while I--

Brady: No, Theresa, I want a test that we both can trust.

Theresa: Which is what?

Brady: That would be a blood test, at the hospital. Now, look, if you don't want your family to know about it--

Theresa: No, I don't have a problem with that Brady. It's fine.

[Phone rings]

Kayla: Hello?

Theresa: Aunt Kayla, it's Theresa. Look, I need a pregnancy test. Can you do it right now?

Sonny: Abigail, hey. I heard you got your old job back, congratulations.

Abigail: Yeah, I did. Thank you. I'm assuming that you heard from Ben?

Sonny: Mm-hmm.

Abigail: Which means you also heard that we had a fight?

Sonny: I'm not taking sides.

Abigail: Okay. You know, I wouldn't ask you to, anyway--I acted like a total jerk.

Sonny: Why do you say that?

Abigail: Because I basically accused him of not wanting me to take my job back because he was jealous of Chad.

Sonny: It's very complicated.

Abigail: Yeah, it is. I need to find him and apologize, is he at work right now?

Sonny: He's on the schedule, but he's not at the club.

Abigail: Okay.

Ben: Damn it, see, this is exactly what Chad would have wanted, us arguing about him me attacking him, you defending him. He couldn't have scripted this better himself. This would be so much better if I had you here to share it with me.

Kayla: So, how far along do you think you are, Theresa?

Theresa: What difference does it make, I took an at home pregnancy test, I got a plus sign, I'm having a baby. What more do you need to know?

Kayla: This is something that the two of you didn't plan, obviously.

Brady: No, not planned.

Theresa: Yeah, look, I can tell that you're about to get judgmental, but that's not gonna change anything, okay? Right now, Brady and I are just trying to deal with this as sensibly and as maturely as possible.

Kayla: Right.

Theresa: So, I need the test results as quickly as possible, okay? Please, look, it's--it's the only way Brady will believe me.

Kayla: I'll do the best I can.

Brady: Thank you.

Kayla: Mm-hmm. Follow me.

Aiden: I'm not--

Nicole: I'm not threatening you. But, I am an investigative reporter and I know something's up.

Aiden: Nothing is up, Nicole.

Nicole: And I'm not trying to dig up anything on you or do an expose--I would if I didn't like you so well. So, I'm just trying to warn you. Be careful. Because, unfortunately, experience has taught me, the bigger the secret you're keeping, the bigger it's gonna come back and bite you in the--

Hope: Couldn't stand the guy when I first met him.

Rafe: No?

Hope: No, I thought he was a total jerk. Biggest jerk I'd ever met. He seemed so arrogant and completely judgmental. Actually, it took me a while to realize just how fun he is. And generous. He's a great dad.

Rafe: So, what's the problem?

Hope: Well, yesterday, Aiden and I ran into a mutual acquaintance. Her name's Bree, she knew me in Portland. It was a friend of his wife's.

Rafe: His wife died, right?

Hope: Aiden's never made a secret of the fact that he and his wife weren't terribly happy before she died. But the strange thing is that when I told him that I knew Bree, he got tense like he was worried that we might have been talking about him.

Rafe: Sure you didn't imagine it?

Hope: I am very sure. And then today, Nicole asked to do a story about him and he kinda, I don't know, kind of was short with her.

Rafe: Yeah? So, what are you thinking?

Hope: How easy it would be to go online and find out more about him. And when I thought he was a big jerk, I almost did that. But now, I realize--

Rafe: He's not.

Hope: I know this is completely out of character for me, but I just feel so wrong about digging into his personal life when he clearly doesn't want me to know more than what he's already told me.

Rafe: Right... so, you're curious, but are you concerned?

Hope: Yeah, well... somewhat.

Rafe: Okay. Tell you what.

Hope: What?

Rafe: You respect his privacy and I'll play bad cop and I'll search his past, and hopefully, I won't find a damn thing, and then you can breathe a sigh of relief. How's that...good?

Hope: Thanks.

Rafe: All right.

Hope: No. I'd feel too guilty. Whatever it is that Aiden doesn't want to talk about, I hope one day he trusts me enough to--to tell me. He's never pushed me about Bo.

Rafe: I get it. I know exactly how you feel. When Jordan was--when I thought that she was hiding things from me, I wanted to search so bad. That didn't turn out so well, did it?

Hope: I'm sorry.

Rafe: Ah. It happens, right?

Hope: Yeah. Yes, yeah, yeah. Look at us.

Rafe: Anyway. You change your mind, I'm here. You want to talk, whatever.

Hope: Thank you. I appreciate it.

Rafe: And I know that this isn't just about you. You got a daughter you need to look out for. So, we'll talk about the case later, okay?

Hope: Sounds good.

Rafe: Take care.

Hope: Hey, Rafe, thanks.

Rafe: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Anytime.

Hope: Bye. My budget used to be hard on me.

Sonny: That was the electrician and he said it's gonna cost twice as much to wire the new club as he originally quoted because of a change in city code. I don't know how I'm gonna swing that.

Chad: Whatever it takes to get the new place off the ground, man, I'm in.

Sonny: Yeah? I was hoping you'd say that. Um, ran into Abigail earlier. That was very nice of you to help her get her old job back.

Chad: Yeah, glad to hear somebody thinks so. Mm-hmm, but?

Sonny: I just hope you did it for the right reasons.

Chad: Here we go again.

Sonny: I watched you push Ben's buttons over and over again--he's a good guy. He's good for Abigail. We both care about her. She's been through a lot. So, I think we can both agree, she deserves to be happy.

[Knock at door]

Ben: Hang on, I have the check right here.

Abigail: Hi.

Ben: Abigail.

Abigail: I brought you a house warming gift. Here, open it.

Rafe: Hey, Brady.

Brady: Hey.

Rafe: Everything okay?

Brady: No, not exactly. I mean, no one's sick or anything, but.

Rafe: No, I heard about what happened with Kristen. Sorry.

Brady: It's okay, this isn't even about Kristen. I, um, I just--I screwed up.

Rafe: Anything I can do to help?

Brady: No. No, there's really nothing anybody can do to help. The fact is, of all the mistakes I've made with women... this might be the stupidest of them all.

Rafe: Well... hang in there.

Brady: Thanks.

Aiden: Nicole, you do not know anything about me.

Nicole: And you don't know anything about me. Like my screen name, for example. Misty circle.

Aiden: Screen name?

Nicole: Yeah, not my email address. It was my porn name.

Aiden: Your--

Nicole: Yeah, yeah, try and keep that one a secret. Like nobody watches porn. Oh, and then there was my miscarriage, so I stole Sami Brady's kid, pretending she was mine, and then I had another miscarriage. And then I blamed that one on Jennifer Deveraux, saying she pushed me down a flight of stairs, and the truth was, my baby was already dead.

Aiden: Nicole, you really don't need to tell me all this.

Nicole: And then, of course, destroying evidence that would help Eric be reinstated back into the priesthood, because I wanted him to marry me so badly, and look how great that one turned out.

Aiden: I'm sorry about that.

Nicole: Thing is... I can't go back. I can't change any of that. But, I can share what I've learned. I'm a really good liar, if I do say so myself. But, I just couldn't get away with it for long. The truth always comes out somehow. At the worst possible time. In the worst possible way. Anyway. Good luck.

Aiden: Thanks.
