Episode #12448 ~ Sami gets a life-changing visit; Kristen experiences a setback with Brady but eventually scores a major Victory; Eve warns Theresa that Kristen is gunning for her; Clyde makes a horrifying accusation against Jordan.

Provided By Suzanne

[Door opens]

Theresa: Kristen DiMera was here?

Eve: Yes, she was hurling around all sorts of accusations against you, seeing what would stick, Theresa.

Theresa: Like what?

Eve: You enabled Brady's addiction. You tricked him into eloping with you, which caused a big fight between you and his father, and...

Theresa: And?

Eve: [Sighs] You'd better face it, little sister. She is onto you.

Theresa: Oh, my God. Do you think she really knows?

Kristen: Come on, just say it, would you? Just say it.

[Knock on door]

Kristen: Come in. Just put the, uh, tray right over there. Thanks.

John: [Exhales deeply]

Marlena: Oh, Amy, let me help you, there.

John: Whoa. What a surprise this is.

Marlena: [Chuckles]

John: [Grunts]

Marlena: How was your P.T.?

John: Well, let's see... I did 20 miles on the treadmill and bench-pressed what, 150 pounds?

Amy: [Laughs] He's lying.

Marlena: I've met him.

John: [Laughs]

Amy: But he did really well. See you, Dr. Evans.

Marlena: Thanks.

John: I'll have a scotch on the rocks, when you get a chance.

Marlena: She's gone. You can drop the act.

John: Hmm?

Marlena: I want to know how you're really doing.

John: Well, doc, that is gonna depend on you.

Clyde: Hey, Ben? Glad I caught up to you.

Ben: Look, I told you--I will get in touch with you once I've decided.

Clyde: Well, I've made the decision for you, son. I'm not giving you a single dime.

Abigail: Hey, Jordan. Come on in. I'm so glad that you dropped by to see Ari, but unfortunately, I just put her down for a nap.

Jordan: Oh, no, that's okay. Um, there's actually something I want to talk to you about.

Abigail: Oh, sure, yeah. What is it?

Jordan: Chad.

Kate: Look, I understand that. But I'm sure you understand that Samantha DiMera is in serious, serious trouble. Then just go over the paperwork that I sent to you, and I will be in touch. Ugh. God.

Chad: [Sighs] Just what kind of trouble is Sami in now?

Kate: [Sighs]

Bruce: Mrs. Samantha Brady DiMera? I'm Bruce Greenblatt, and we're so sorry about your loss.

Bob: We most certainly are.

Jennifer Evans: But this matter simply couldn't wait.

Kristen: Hi. What are you doing here?

Brady: Uh, if it's a bad time, I'm sorry. I-I didn't mean to interrupt you.

Kristen: No, not at all. It's not a bad time.

Brady: It seems like it is. What are you listening to?

Ben: Ah, I should have known you were playing me. All that talk about needing to pay me back for what you did, how you treated me... it was all a load of bull, wasn't it?

Clyde: No, no. I still want to make up for that. But I realized, there's something else I can give you besides cash.

Ben: Yeah? Like what-- your--your Willie nelson bong, your recipe for grits?

Clyde: No. An education.

Abigail: I'm really glad you want to talk about Chad. So do I. I think that even though he's not admitting it, losing his brother is hitting him really hard. So what did he do now? Did he pull another one of his stunts?

Jordan: No, um, I actually wanted to let you know that he asked me out.

Abigail: What? He asked you out, like, on a date? Oh. Well, I-I guess, uh, his brother getting murdered isn't hitting him as hard as I thought.

Jordan: No, it was before EJ died. And, well, you are my best friend in Salem, so I thought I had to talk to you before I gave him the answer.

Abigail: So you're considering it? Wow. Wow. [Scoffs] I-I guess you've just given up on Rafe, then, huh?

Theresa: Damn it, tell me! Do you really think that witch Kristen knows what happened that night?

Kristen: It's not important. I was just helping my father with some unfinished business.

Brady: Oh. He must be a mess, losing his son like that. He's Stefano. He'll bounce back.

Kristen: We all grieve in our own way. What brings you by?

Brady: I needed to see you.

Kristen: Last time you tried to say good-bye, I told you that I needed to see you once more... and here you are.

Bruce: This is the thing that has pretty much put everything in motion for us.

Bob: Your son really digs deep. We certainly could use someone like him working for us.

Jennifer Evans: We only got about halfway through it when we realized we had to move. We had to start looking into this.

Bruce: We were immediately onto you.

Sami: Okay, stop. Uh, before you go any further, I-I have a call I'm gonna need to make.

Bruce: Of course.

Jennifer Evans: Do what you have to do. We'll wait.

Sami: Yeah, okay. Oh, my God. Oh, my God.

Kate: And what would make you think that Sami's in any kind of trouble?

Chad: Because that's what you just said.

Kate: Oh, isn't that charming? You're listening in to other people's conversations now. Perhaps we should schedule a conference call with Stefano and save you the trouble of reporting back later.

Chad: Do you think he'd be interested in Sami's situation?

[Cell phone ringing]

Kate: [Sighs] Kate Roberts.

Sami: They're here.

Kate: I don't know who you're referring to.

Sami: The feds. Oh, God, Kate, they've come to take me away. Help me.

Marlena: It isn't all dependent on me... but on us. Uh, you'll be released soon, and... there's a lot for us to discuss, because a lot--a lot has happened.

John: You know, I know we haven't had a lot of time alone together. But now that I'm--I'm feeling better and my head is clear, that's, uh--that's all gonna change. So we--we need to talk about the two of us... about our future.

Ben: What did you just say?

Clyde: I've decided that, instead of giving you a big wad of cash, I could give you what every parent wants to give their kid--a college education.

Ben: Really?

Clyde: Yeah. Now, I don't know where you want to go to school, but I assume you want it to be near Abigail, right?

Ben: Look, I don't--I don't think you understand--

Clyde: Hear me on this, okay? If you accept it, it doesn't mean you forgive me. But you told me you saved some money for school, right? You could take that money, get yourself a new place to live, and I'll cover all your educational expenses.

Ben: Okay, I don't think you understand how much money you're actually talking about.

Clyde: Let me worry about that, okay? Son, you'd be the first in the family to go to college.

Ben: Jordan went to college.

Clyde: I'm talking about the first Weston. Ben, I really hope you take me up on this. Let me make up for the past, by giving you a future.

Jordan: Well, actually, I didn't know if I could get over Rafe, you know? But after talking to Chad-- I don't know. It just felt so natural.

Abigail: Well... good--that--good. Did you tell your brother yet?

Jordan: Ugh, no. Do I need his approval too?

Abigail: No, uh, no, of course not. But I-I mean, Ben's your brother, and Chad is his boss. And, you know, they didn't exactly hit it off. So I just think that you might want to tell him before he finds out some another way.

Jordan: Yeah. No, you're right. And you? You're okay with it?

Abigail: I think, um... you know, I-I-I have nothing to say about it.

Jordan: What?

Abigail: You need to know that Chad... he's not exactly Rafe. He--he's a really complicated guy, and he's a lot more like EJ than people realize.

Jordan: You mean he's a DiMera?

Abigail: Yes. Yeah, that's exactly what I mean. Look, I-I know it's none of my business, really, but--

Jordan: Well, look, you know what? Look, let's just relax, okay? I mean, after all, it's just one dinner.

Abigail: Yeah.

Kate: Look, um, I'm gonna call my attorney and, uh, see what he can do to handle it.

Sami: What would EJ do?

Kate: Stop. Just stop, okay? You need to think about the kids and stay strong and keep your mouth shut... until I get there.

Sami: [Sighs] Okay. Okay. [Sighs]

Bruce: You're back. If we could get started, we could at least fill you in on your options.

Sami: Before we do anything, I'd like to wait to have my attorney present.

Bruce: Well, as you know, Mrs. DiMera, we--we can't argue with that.

Sami: Good.

Kate: So...

Chad: That didn't sound very good.

Kate: Oh, no. Everything's fine. Nothing to worry about.

Chad: I thought we had an agreement. I thought we trusted each other.

Kate: We do. Now I have to run.

[Door closes]

Eve: You know, Theresa, I am really not thrilled with the company you keep. And I'm certainly not thrilled with the fact that you let a psycho like Kristen DiMera barge into my home. I mean, what the hell? What if Paige had been here, honey?

Theresa: Did you tell her anything?

[Cell phone ringing]

Theresa: Just, hang-- ugh. Well, come on, think. Did you?

Eve: No, I didn't. And you know what? I'm not gonna discuss this with you. I just thought that you would want to know, so you could figure out a way to handle it. I don't want her in my house. I don't want her in my life, period. You got that? I've got way too much going on right now. Oh! Did I tell you that I had some new fabulous head shots taken?

Theresa: Wow, Eve. Your concern really touches me.

Eve: [Scoffs] Who you should be concerned about is Kristen DiMera.

Theresa: What? Come on, don't worry about that psycho. She doesn't scare me.

Eve: She should, Theresa. If you've ever heard dad ranting about the DiMera family, then you'd know that there's nothing about that family to be taken lightly.

Brady: You got this all wrong.

Kristen: Me? Wrong? Well, that's not possible.

Brady: [Sighs] I'm not here simply because of you.

Kristen: Oh. Well, why else would you be here?

Brady: Because everything that's been going on lately in both of our lives, I've been remiss in taking care of something that I wanted to do as soon as my father woke up from his coma.

Kristen: Well, you know that you've already thanked me on more than one occasion. You know that, right?

Brady: I know that, Kristen, but our families have one thing in common. We pay back our debts. I want to pay you back for the cost of the development of the drug. It saved my father. I want to do that.

Kristen: I see. So you want to pay me back for saving your father's life?

Brady: That's right.

Kristen: How dare you insult me like that?

Bruce: Mrs. DiMera, I know you've called your attorney, but we really don't have a lot of time. Perhaps we could go ahead and present our preliminary--

Sami: This is America, Mr. Greenblatt, land of the free, home of... Miranda rights. I have the right to have my attorney present.

Jennifer Evans: Of course you do, but sometimes they can complicate things more.

Sami: Oh, I'm onto you. My dad is a cop. My husband was a lawyer. I know all of your tricks.

Bob: We're just trying to facilitate here.

Sami: No, what you're trying to do is take advantage of a recent widow. I hope you're proud of yourselves. You know, just because I've made some mistakes along the way...

Kate: I don't care. You're on retainer. I need you here now!

Harold: I'm sorry, ms. Roberts. There was a small fire in the kitchen, and I was unable to announce the visitors to Mrs. DiMera.

Kate: That's all right. I don't think anything would have stopped them.

Harold: They gave me their card.

Kate: This is their card?

Sami: In this country, people are innocent until proven guilty. And I'll have you know, even if I was guilty, which I'm not saying that I am--

Kate: Sami, put a sock in it!

Sami: Oh, God, thank God you are here.

Kate: No, no, no, no, no.

Bruce: Ms. Roberts.

Sami: What?

Bruce: We wanted to talk to you too.

Sami: Oh, my God! No, I told them you had nothing to do with it.

Kate: Stop. Stop. This is their card. Look at it.

Sami: What? Are you kidding me with this? [Scoffs] [Sighs]

Chad: Abigail.

Abigail: Hi. What are you up to with Jordan?

Chad: Okay. And that would be your business because...?

Abigail: Look, uh, if you're--if you're trying to use her against Ben or me, I just have to tell you--it's not going to work.

Ben: Hey. I'm glad you stopped by. I wanted to talk to you about something.

Jordan: I wanted to talk to you about something too. But you first.

Ben: It's about Clyde. I know you weren't crazy about me borrowing money from him, but...

Jordan: That's kind of an understatement. Oh, Ben, tell me you didn't do it again.

Ben: No, no, I didn't, not--not really. I mean...

Jordan: "Not really"?

Ben: Jordan, he wants to pay for me to go to college. So it's not like he's just giving me money.

Jordan: Oh, damn it, Ben. It's the same thing. What that bastard wants is to buy you.

Theresa: Just because I'm not afraid of her doesn't mean that I'm taking this lightly, Eve.

Eve: Oh, I see the distinction. Wow. I feel so much better now.

Theresa: Look, you're the one who told me to come over here, so why don't you just tell me what she said, okay?

Eve: I already told you. She blames you for Brady's drinking and drugs.

Theresa: [Stammering] She's the one who put herself on video raping his priest brother, and I'm the one to blame for his drinking, really?

Eve: La, la, la, la, la. Don't yell at me. Yell at her.

Theresa: Right. What else did she say?

Eve: Well, she says that you tricked him into marrying you, and she thinks there's more to the story about, you know, that night that john and Brady fought.

Theresa: Okay. She's got nothing. It was a fishing expedition.

Eve: That may be true, sweetheart, but she's convinced that you're to blame for it.

Theresa: Well, that's her opinion. You know what? The only opinion that matters is john's, and john sided with me. Remember? He said that it was self-defense, plain and simple, right? So she's got bubkes, right? Right?

Eve: Right.

Theresa: Why are you acting so jumpy? Did you slip up and say something?

Eve: No, I didn't. I didn't have to. I told you--that woman is a DiMera. Why would she come over here and get up in the face of somebody she doesn't even know if she doesn't have a reason, Theresa? Which is why, like I said, if I were you, honey, I would-- I would be worried.

Theresa: Yeah, well, I really, really hope that you didn't lose your cool and give her an idea that something else happened that night.

Eve: Really? Now, why would I do that? Why would I do that? What would--what would I gain from that? There's nothing in it for me. Besides, I don't know anything, remember, Theresa? I don't know one thing. So I couldn't sell you down the river, even if I wanted to.

Kristen: You know damn well I don't need your money.

Brady: I know you don't need my money, Kristen, but I was-- I-I didn't mean to insult you.

Kristen: Don't you see what you're doing, Brady? Don't you see it?

Brady: No, what?

Kristen: You're trying to use this as a way of distancing yourself from me again. But I bet you couldn't wait to bring your offer to my door, could you?

Brady: I didn't-- I-I wanted this to be as personal as possible, that's all.

Kristen: Because you know I'm not your enemy. I haven't been since we first fell in love. I know I've made horrible mistakes. I'm doing everything I can to just get rid of them and make up for it. And that's why I thought that... if I saved your father's life, if I did whatever I could to help him, maybe it would prove to you how much I love you, how much I still love you so much, Brady... and that maybe if we had a level playing field... maybe we'd have a shot at a new beginning. Hi, I'm Henry Winkler

Ben: Jordan, I'm telling you, I don't think there's any strings attached. He said college is the one thing most parents want to give their kids. And I think he was being sincere.

Jordan: But you know where that money is going to come from.

Ben: Look, he's running legitimate businesses now.

Jordan: Yeah, according to him.

Ben: [Sighs]

Jordan: Ben... okay, just think about who we're talking about here, and tell me, do you really believe him?

Ben: [Sighs] I don't think he's lying to me, Jordan. But I do know one thing. I can't keep living with so much hate.

Jordan: Oh, my God. After all this time, after everything that that man put us through... you're really gonna forgive him, aren't you?

John: You know, what we never talked about is... where we were before the accident. Now, I remember that vividly, and it wasn't very pretty, so... what's going on here?

Marlena: When I thought I might lose you... when I thought I might never hear you call me "doc" again... my heart started pounding. And I understood that... whatever happened, I needed to have you in my life.

Theresa: Right. Well, thanks for filling me in.

Eve: This better never happen again.

Theresa: Why would it, Eve? I can't really figure out why it happened in the first place.

Eve: [Scoffs]

Theresa: Hey, wait a minute. Nothing else happened, did it?

Eve: Well, like what? Honey, she came over here. She did her rant. I told her to get the hell out of here, or I was gonna call the cops, and she left. That's it.

Theresa: Hmm. I think that woman's unspooling. Look, I got a text. I got to check in with my boss, see how john's doing, okay?

Eve: Okay.

Theresa: But if she comes back, you call me, all right?

Eve: Okay. Wow.

Brady: I got to admit, Kristen, when I hear you talk like that... it's like I almost believe you... which scares me, because that ship sailed long ago.

Kristen: No, it didn't, Brady.

Brady: I gave you two chances-- two--to make things right, but your deceit and your lies-- it--I got nothing left for you. I'm done.

Kristen: You don't mean that.

Brady: I do, and it's important that you understand that I-I have...

Kristen: What?

Brady: I'm done.

Kristen: You've moved on? Is that what you're trying to say?

Brady: Yeah, you know what? I have moved on. I have. And I'm continuing to move on. I'm building a new life for myself, and if you knew what was good for you, Kristen, you would too. For your sake, for everyone's sake... move on.

Kristen: You think you're building a new life with Theresa? That's not gonna happen!

Sami: You're from...

Bruce: Universal Pictures.

Jennifer Evans: In Hollywood.

Bruce: We gave our card to your butler.

Kate: Oh, well, Sami didn't get that. There was a misunderstanding.

Bruce: Actually, that misunderstanding simply clarified that you're--you lead a very dramatic life, Mrs. DiMera.

Jennifer Evans: Mm-hmm.

Sami: Ahh. Never a dull moment. [Chuckles] So why--

Bruce: Why are we here? As I said, we were all fascinated by this article.

Jennifer Evans: We had talked about this even before your tragic loss. We thought about delaying our visit, but to be blunt, we're in something of a time crunch.

Kate: So why are you here?

Bruce: Isn't it obvious? We want to be in the Sami Brady DiMera business.

Theresa: Hey, I got your text.

Anne: You are not going to believe this.

Theresa: Did something happen with john?

Anne: No, not john, me! I got a call from Kristen DiMera.

Theresa: What?

Anne: Yeah. She wants me to administrate a scholarship in EJ DiMera's name. I-I-I-I was stunned. [Chuckles]

Theresa: Uh, we need to go somewhere in private and talk right now.

Anne: Okay.

Theresa: Now!

Anne: All right!

Chad: Look, for starters, I didn't even know Jordan was Ben's sister or the fact that she even knew you, until we had spent some time together. How could I use knowing Jordan against either one of you? Oh, did you think that I was trying to make you jealous?

Abigail: I don't know, but I think that for someone who pretended to have a brain tumor, it's not really fair for you to get offended if somebody is questioning your motives.

Chad: Well, whatever the motive, it would be a stupid strategy. You slept with my brother, and to pay you back, I'm gonna... date your boyfriend's sister? I mean, honestly, Abby, it is really sick that you went there.

Abigail: [Stammers] Oh.

Chad: And is, uh--is Benny boy upset about this now too?

Abigail: No. Benny boy doesn't know. But he will, because Jordan's going to tell him.

Chad: Well, that's up to her. And she hasn't even agreed to go out with me. So who knows? Maybe she'll make your day and turn me down. [Chuckles]

Abigail: Chad.

Ben: Jordan, I hate upsetting you like this. I do. But I'm not talking about forgiveness. I'm talking about catching a break. Look at me--I'm living in a rented room. Abigail and I can't even be alone. If Clyde will pay for my college, I can use the money I've been saving at least to get my own place to live--a real place. It'll make my life so much better.

Jordan: Look, whatever you decide, it's your decision... one that you're gonna have to live with.

Ben: Jordan, wait. W-what were you gonna tell me?

Jordan: It--you know, it doesn't matter, not anymore.

Ben: [Taps counter]

Marlena: It's nice... to think about a future again.

John: It's nice to have a future.

Marlena: John... when you talked about that night, about what happened... it just seemed out of character. I mean, for you to attack your own son, for him to come after you with a poker? Whether he was drunk or--or self-defense, it just...

John: [Sighs] Oh, doc.

Brady: Oh, sorry. Am I interrupting anything?

Kate: "The Sami Brady DiMera business"? What does that even mean?

Bruce: We're thinking a movie to start.

Jennifer Evans: I'm seeing Kate Winslet.

Sami: Isn't she British?

Jennifer Evans: Kate Hudson or Naomi watts.

Kate: How about carol Burnett?

Bruce: Or maybe a miniseries.

Kate: Oh, definitely. You would need a miniseries to-- to cover all of the altered paternity tests that Sami--

Jennifer Evans: Or a reality show.

Bruce: Mm.

Jennifer Evans: Or with a body like yours, you could host your own fitness program.

Sami: God, this is just, you know, so much to take in.

Bruce: It is, and we don't mean to get ahead of ourselves. All of this is something you'll have to think over. Very carefully, decide if you're willing to make the leap.

Sami: Sorry, "the leap"?

Bruce: Well, you would have to move to Los Angeles.

Kate: Seriously? Her husband isn't even cold in his grave on the mantel, and you're coming in here like vultures.

Bruce: Ms. Roberts, I know what it might look like, but the public has latched on to this particular story.

Jennifer Evans: Yes. America is salivating for more Sami.

Kate: [Scoffs] That's quite a visual.

Jennifer Evans: We need to strike while the iron is hot.

Sami: Um, I-I mean, I-I'm very flattered...

Bruce: But you're overwhelmed. You need to think it over. So we're gonna leave our proposal and initial offer for you to review. But it's only a six-month commitment.

Jennifer Evans: We're staying at the Salem Inn for a night. So if you have any questions, please call.

Bob: Here's a list of our contact numbers and email addresses.

Bruce: Again, we're sorry about the timing. But we all hope we'll be working together soon.

Sami: [Laughs] Sorry.

Bruce: We can see ourselves out.

Sami: Great.

[Indistinct chatter]

Sami: Do you think Naomi watts has the range?

Kate: Come on, Sami, snap out of it.

Clyde: Well, I was surprised to get a text from you. But I can guess what this is about.

Jordan: Do you really think I'm gonna let you get away with all this?

Clyde: Tammy sue... you'd best watch your tone, girl.

John: No, you're not interrupting at all. Come on in.

Brady: Okay. It's good to see you two together. If anybody can get you back on your feet, it's this one right here.

John: Well, you got that right. So, kid, how are you--

Brady: Listen, do--

John: No--

Brady: Sorry. Go ahead.

Marlena: [Laughs]

John: You first.

Brady: All right, all right, I wanted to ask you... if you would mind if I brought Theresa around. I mean, you told me--you told me you wanted to get to know her a little better, and since we are seeing each other again, I thought--

Marlena: Oh, uh--

Brady: I mean, just--it's just casual--casually. Would you mind?

John: Let's--let's--let's talk about this a little later, okay?

Marlena: And what about Kristen? Have you seen her since we were all together?

Brady: Yes, yes, I actually have seen her... just now.

Kristen: Stupid, moronic idiot. Ugh! Theresa was this close to incriminating herself, and you just had to say "no, don't tell me. I don't want to know." What kind of a stupid, moronic sister are you? Okay, Kristen, just calm down. Just stop, stop, stop, stop, stop. Who knows? Maybe you're the kind of sister that, uh, talks to herself, right? Let's be positive. Okay. Come on, Eve... incriminate that slut of a sister of yours.

[Cell phone ringing]

Eve: Hello? Well, Dr. Chung, it's so nice to hear you. Uh, you mean that I can just download the papers? Well, that's fantastic. I-I'll--I'll sign them this afternoon, then I can drop them off to you. Okay. All right, well, just a second. Let me, uh--let me take down that information, okay? Just a second.

Kristen: [Gasps] Ah! Ah.

Eve: Oh, gosh, I am such a klutz. Would you hold on just a moment? Oh. All right, I'm back. I'm so sorry. Can you give me the information now?

Kristen: Oh, damn it. [Sighs] Well, maybe I don't have Eve anymore, but I certainly have that Milbauer cow, don't I? God knows she can't ever shut up. [Sighs]

Anne: All right, what the hell are we doing here?

Theresa: Look, Anne, I need you to tell me everything that Kristen said, and no one can overhear us. So when did she call you?

Anne: This morning. She summoned me to the Salem Inn, which was weird, but I went. And I'm so glad I did.

Theresa: Why? Look, I told you that woman was a snake.

Anne: Well, as it turns out, she's a smart snake, and thank God for that.

Theresa: What's that supposed to even mean?

Anne: Well, I thought that all that hard work I do, you know, my due diligence, went unnoticed. But that woman clearly did her research.

Theresa: Yeah, and she found out we talk, and that's why she wanted to see you.

Anne: No, it was to enlist me for my expertise, because as I've been trying to tell you, she wants my department to be the beneficiary and administrator of a scholarship in her brother's name.

Anne: Yes, it would be like a nonmedical internship program, because that woman understands that it's administrators like me who actually keep hospitals going.

Theresa: Oh, my God, I--

Anne: Right? So I'm gonna find a young woman who's just like I was-- conscientious to a fault, sharp as hell--and I'm gonna guide her. I'm gonna--I'm gonna mentor her.

Theresa: You didn't buy that, did you?

Anne: Because there is a desperate need for administrators like me.

Theresa: Look, Anne... this isn't about you. It's about me. [Sighs] Just...

Anne: [Chuckles]

Theresa: Tell me, what did you tell her?

Abigail: Will had to basically pry Ari away from me. But I just made him promise that I could be the babysitter of choice for my goddaughter.

Ben: That's... that's great.

Abigail: You okay? Oh, did you see Jordan?

Ben: Yeah. Surprise, surprise... another argument.

Abigail: Yeah, I had a feeling you wouldn't be happy about that.

Jordan: I can use any tone I want with you, Clyde. Things have changed. I'm not afraid of you now. And so I want to know what your game is. Panting after Kate Roberts, trying to buy Ben back?

Clyde: Ben is my son.

Jordan: And how do you think your son would feel if he knew exactly the kind of man his father is?

Clyde: And how do you think he'd feel if he knew you killed his mother?

Sami: Okay, I'm snapping out of it. But come on, it's an offer, from Hollywood!

Kate: It's a dream. It's just a dream, and you are going to have plenty of time for dreaming--maybe 10 to 20--if we don't fix what you've done.

Chad: Okay. I think it's time we all had a talk.

Sami: [Chuckles]

Brady: I don't want you two to worry. Okay? The only--the only reason I went to see Kristen is to offer to pay her back for what she did. And, uh, I know that drug was not cheap to develop, so...

Amy: Dr. Evans?

Marlena: Hmm?

Amy: One of your patients is trying to reach you.

Marlena: Okay, thanks, Amy.

John: [Sighs]

Marlena: I'll leave you fellas alone. It was nice to see you.

John: Yep, I'll see you around... doc.

Brady: You two seem good.

John: I think we're gonna be. Listen, son... I know that you're probably trying to square things right now.

Brady: Dad, I know where you're going with this. Don't worry about it. I have no intention of seeing Kristen again, honestly. And now that EJ's dead, she'll probably take a cue and... head out of town.

[Cell phone ringing]

Brady: O-of course. I have to take care of this. I'll see you later.

John: Yeah. Thanks for stopping by, kid. Mm-hmm. Kristen's the bigger threat... so I'll just deal with her first, then... worry about Theresa.

Anne: And why would this be about you?

Theresa: Well, because that woman sought you out with that lame cover story in order to get to me. God, she is determined to prove that I had something to do with john's accident.

Anne: Yeah, but we've been over this.

Theresa: [Sighs]

Anne: And john backs your story, which, considering everything, is damn lucky for you.

Theresa: Look, I-I never said anything that--that--

Anne: Mm-hmm. Oh, come on, you didn't have to, honey. All the body language, all that worrying you did--it gave you away. But it's okay, because as long as john black doesn't remember anything, then you're all right, right?

Theresa: [Sighs] That's the thing. Um... john does remember. He knows that it was me, not Brady, who whacked him with that poker. But for some reason, he's just not telling anyone.

Kristen: [Laughs, gasps] Well, now, guess what, Theresa. John won't have to tell anyone, 'cause you just did! [Laughs]
