Provided By Suzanne

Hope: Oh, my gosh, I am so sorry that I'm late. The Kennedy expressway was a parking lot.

Aiden: Oh, it's--it's okay,

Hope: Oh my gosh.

Aiden: Oh.

Hope: What?

Aiden: Hmm?

Hope: Is something wrong? What's wrong?

Aiden: Oh, nothing's wrong at all. It's perfect.

Daniel: Ah, hi, so sorry I'm late. We couldn't find Parker's favorite shoes--he won't wear any other pair.

Paige: No problem. I wanted to thank you again for helping me get this internship.

Daniel: Well all I did was put in a good word, you--you did the hard part. So, how's your first day going?

Paige: Great--of course, I've only been here for two minutes.

Daniel: Well, no worries, we're not gonna ask you to do brain surgery for a couple weeks. Kidding.

Paige: I know.

Daniel: You have nothing to be nervous about.

Paige: I heard Anne Milbauer can be kinda--

Daniel: Oh, if Anne gives you a hard time, you send her my way.

Paige: Oh, I didn't mean--

Daniel: No, that's--I mean it.

Paige: Okay.

Daniel: Okay? Alright, now, I want you to come with me.

Paige: Where are we going?

Daniel: Oh, it's just a surprise.

JJ: Hi. If you're looking for my mom, she's--

Eve: No, I'm here to see you, JJ, and I think you know why.

Sami: I was hoping he'd be awake.

Marlena: Oh, yes, well the doctor said they've got him sedated. He's been disoriented.

Sami: Uh-huh. So does he remember anything?

Marlena: Well, he's been a little agitated.

Sami: The doctors think he's gonna be all right, right?

Marlena: Daniel says he--his prognosis is very good.

Sami: Thank God.

Marlena: Thank you so much for coming.

Sami: Mom, no matter what my history is with john, I'm so glad that you got this miracle.

Marlena: Thanks for saying that.

Sami: I just wish that, you know, we could find a way to make Kristen pay for what she did to Eric. I'm not giving up hope that she will suffer for what she did.

Kristen: I've got great news, father, all the charges against me have been dropped. No more horrible ankle accessory. I am free!

Stefano: Congratulations, my dear. Now, how do you plan to celebrate your Victory?

Kristen: I don't know, I'm not sure.

Stefano: Why not?

Kristen: I don't know. I've been waiting for this day for months, and now that it's here, I woke up with this feeling of dread.

Stefano: About what?

Kristen: I'm not sure.

EJ: Mother, what on earth are you doing here?

Susan: Oh, Elvis, I just had to come. I had to. To save my sweet, sweet boy. Look at you, how big and everything.

Sami: Mom--oh, I forgot. The kids, they made a get well card for john and I left it at home. Oh, I am going to hear about that from Johnny.

Marlena: No, you know what, that's okay, I can swing by and pick it up. That'll give me a chance to get my hugs from the children and that'll do my heart good.

Sami: Why do you say it like that? I mean, they said john's gonna get better, right?

Marlena: Oh, no, no, no, no, of course he is. I just--you know, I haven't had a chance to tell him how much I regret what happened the last... year. The fighting and all that.

Sami: Will he remember all of that?

Marlena: Oh, I don't know. But I don't want to forget how I feel. How I feel right now, about him and how I feel about your incredible support.

Sami: Oh mom, I felt the same way. I'm so grateful to you for supporting me, and giving me your blessing--EJ and me.

Marlena: Yes. Well, whatever makes you happy. So if this makes you happy--

Sami: It does, mom. It makes me very, very happy.

Marlena: Oh, honey.

EJ: Look mother, I'm obviously delighted that you're here, but a little bit shocked. I don't quite understand--why is it, exactly, that you had to come all the way from England to save me?

Susan: I promised I was never going to set foot in this creepy place ever again. But I had to to rescue my boy. Ew-ew.

EJ: What's wrong?

Susan: This place gives me the heebie jeebies, Elvis, I couldn't step one foot in here if I thought Mr. Stefano DiMera was here lurking around.

EJ: Oh, okay, mother why don't you just tell me exactly what it is you came here to save me from?

Susan: Okay, Elvis, I was at home minding my own business and I just had a premonition, you know, just like Celeste used to have. Do you remember her?

EJ: A premonition?

Susan: Yes, it struck me like a lightening bolt right out of the blue. And I couldn't sit still with it, so I turned to your step daddy and I said, "Edmund, Elvis is in danger--terrible, terrible, terrible danger.

Aiden: So, I'm sorry to drag you all the way out to Chicago, but I thought it might help to be away from prying eyes.

Hope: I appreciate that. Thank you. At home I've always been, um, half of a couple. You know, "Bo and hope." The idea of having to explain to people right now--

Aiden: I understand.

Hope: I'm sure Caroline expected me to wait forever for Bo. So my deciding to move on, it's not going to be easy for her-- or anyone, really.

Aiden: Including you. Hope, before this date goes any further, I just--I need to ask you... are you sure you're ready to do this?

Paige: Hi.

Kayla: Welcome.

Paige: Thanks. I didn't expect the chief of staff to be interested in meeting the interns.

Kayla: Well, I'm also JJ's aunt.

Paige: Oh.

Kayla: I've heard a lot about you.

Paige: Have you?

Daniel: Yeah, Dr. Brady, here, is going to give you the V.I.P. Tour.

Paige: Oh, I'm not a V.I.P.

Kayla: No, don't worry, every university hospital employee is a V.I.P.

Daniel: Now, you're gonna shadow Dr. Brady and you're gonna find out what it takes to run this place from top to bottom.

Paige: Wow.

Kayla: Well, don't get too excited, I'm not that interesting.

Daniel: Yeah she is. And I'm sure you'll learn a lot.

Paige: Well I'm looking forward to it.

JJ: If this about what happened--

Eve: You know, Marybeth told me about the photos, JJ.

JJ: It's not what you think.

Eve: Really, you didn't make out with some tramp the minute my daughter wasn't around?

JJ: No, I would never do that to Paige.

Eve: Wow, then you must have an identical twin brother running around here somewhere.

JJ: What?

Eve: How else do you explain the photos, JJ?

JJ: I'm pretty sure that I was set up.

Eve: Well, that's the best that you can do, JJ? I thought you were a better liar than that.

JJ: Well, I'm not lying, I was waiting for Paige to come back to the party and-- Paige was all I can think about, okay, I wasn't interested in this other girl, at all.

Eve: Well then why do you think it happened? I mean, if you're not interested, surely you wouldn't have jumped this other girl's bones the minute my daughter wasn't around to witness it.

JJ: I didn't jump anyone's bones. And I don't know why or how it happened, okay, don't you understand?

Eve: No, the only thing I know and I understand is that you were so wasted, obviously you blacked out.

JJ: No, I was totally sober.

Eve: Until my daughter left the party.

JJ: Even then, I swear, I wasn't high or drunk. Not on purpose.

Eve: What the hell does that even-- what do you mean, "not on purpose"?

JJ: It means I didn't willingly drink or do drugs, okay. Someone must've wanted me wasted--I think someone put something in my drink.

Eve: Drink?

JJ: It was a soda. And it might even be that girl that was in the pictures.

Eve: Do you still have those photos on your phone?

JJ: Yeah.

Eve: Well, show them to me.

JJ: Why?

Eve: Because Paige erased them from her phone, she insisted that they weren't a big deal. You know what, I'd like to see them for myself. Now!

EJ: Look mother, we talked about this. You know, I know that you have a very active imagination, yes, but I think if you really were psychic than you would win the national lottery once in a while. You do play every week, and yet you seem to lose rather consistently.

Susan: Oh, my Elvis, you sweet thing, you, I cannot control my gift, honey. But I want you to know that this feeling that I have in the pit of my stomach, it is not heartburn, because I know heartburn well--cause when I was carrying you in my belly I had it all the time, this really bad feeling.

EJ: Mm-hmm. Why don't we just get to the point--whatever that is.

Susan: Evil--evil's about to besot my first-born baby. That's you, Elvis.

EJ: Mm-hmm.

Susan: It was just so scary for me I couldn't sit still. I hopped on the first flight to Salem. I was in such a rush I forgot my motion sickness bands.

EJ: Mm-hmm.

Susan: Poor, not-so-nice man that was sitting next to me on the airplane.

EJ: Well, I'm sorry about that, but you really could've saved yourself the trouble. I mean, I'm fine--in fact, I've never been better, terrific, in fact. As you know, I just got married.

Susan: Yes, I heard about that. And I've been thinking that maybe, you know, this evil that I feel's gonna besot you might have something to do with that spawn of Satan. Now I'm sorry, I don't wanna hurt your feelings, but you know she kinda is. Dr. Marlena Evans is my friend, but that Sami Brady's caused her a world of trouble. 'Course I could probably say same thing about you, now couldn't I, my sweet boy.

EJ: Mother, she is the love of my life and the mother of my children.

Susan: Why do you keep splitting up?

EJ: We went through a rough patch, that's all, but now things really could not be more perfect.

Susan: Oh, Elvis, honey, things could always be more perfect.

EJ: Well, we're planning a honeymoon so I'm sure we'll take care of that. Hey, you never know, we could come and see you and Edmund.

Susan: There's just one problem with that, honey, I'm here right now.

EJ: Tell you what I'm gonna do--here's an idea, I know a guy, I'm gonna give him a call, and I'm gonna find you a flight back to London today. There we go.

Susan: Yep, but see, I'm not going anywhere without you.

EJ: Mother, as much as I would love to go with you, I'm afraid I cannot take the children out of school.

Susan: You can't stay here.

[Phone ringing]

EJ: One second. I have to take this. Would you just excuse me for one second, and please, please, do not go anywhere. Thank you.

Susan: I'ma stay right here. I know Mr. Stefano DiMera ain't here, but I can still sense his evil presence. I'm gonna take care of that right now. Yes, I am. Gonna get rid of that evil. You just go, evil. You go, evil. You just go, evil. You go, you go, you go.

[Both screams]

Paige: What's been your favorite job so far?

Kayla: Oh, that's a tough one. I guess the most rewarding was when I helped run a free clinic in Nigeria.

Paige: Wow, I've always wanted to work in Africa.

Kayla: Have you?

Paige: Yeah, my mom was there for a little bit and--

Kayla: Oh, that's right, I knew that.

Paige: Yeah, she always made it sound like this amazing adventure.

Kayla: Well, if you ever have any questions, don't hesitate to ask me.

Paige: Thanks.

Kayla: So, what about college, how's that going for you?

Paige: Well, I love my classes, so far, but my first exams aren't until next week, so--

Kayla: Well, make sure you make time for fun--'cause that's important too.

Paige: Yeah, well, JJ and I went to that big off-campus party a few nights ago, so--

Kayla: You didn't have a good time?

Paige: Well, it just didn't turn out to be quite as fun as we thought it would be.

JJ: Why do you want to see these pictures, I mean, what difference does it make?

Eve: Because my daughter is very trusting. She downplayed all this to me because you downplayed it all to her. But you know what, I'll be the judge of that.

JJ: I told you--

Eve: Well if you don't want to show me, obviously you have something to hide.

JJ: All right.

Eve: Oh, my God!

JJ: But--

Eve: I had no idea that these were so graphic, so lurid.

JJ: But you have to understand, miss Larson, that is not me--

Eve: Okay, stop nattering on, JJ! Look at you, you're all over this young woman! And you're half naked.

JJ: Yeah, I told you, I don't remember.

Eve: Because you were drugged? Stoned? High? Whatever? It's no excuse for your behavior. JJ, I'm so disappointed in you. I thought you were different.

JJ: Look, okay, you don't get it, okay, 'cause this is not my fault. Paige believes me. She knows that I would never cheat on her.

Eve: That's because she's inexperienced. And like I said, she's very trusting. But, you know what? I know better. I want you to listen to me, and I want you to listen close, you're to stay away from my daughter. You hear me? Far, far away.

JJ: No, I won't.

Eve: Excuse me?

JJ: You need to hear me out first.

Eve: No, you need to get out of my way!

JJ: Wait!

Susan: Sami Brady, you just scared the dickens out of me.

Sami: Yes, you surprised me, as well, Susan. EJ didn't tell me that you were coming.

Susan: That's because it was a surprise.

Sami: I--I bet.

Susan: Look at you, huh, lookin' like yourself, huh?

Sami: So, Susan, I don't know if you know, but I'm Sami DiMera now.

Susan: Yeah, I know. I heard you tied the knot. Boy how time flies, huh? Seems like just yesterday you were strapped to electric chair, just waitin' to fry for killin' someone, huh?

Sami: Well, it was a lethal injection--but I was totally innocent.

Susan: Imagine that.

Sami: Is EJ here?

Susan: He's got a phone call. Well, you know what, while it's just us chickens, maybe we can put our heads together, talk some sense into EJ.

Sami: About what?

Susan: My boy's in danger.

Sami: What kind of danger?

Susan: Well, the dangerous kind of danger. And I don't know exactly what it is, but I do know that the only way I can protect my son and his family, is if he comes home with me.

Sami: You want us to come to England with you?

Susan: No... no... see, actually when I said family, I meant Johnny and Sydney. But, uh, I guess you could come too.

Sami: Susan, I am his wife, I am the mother of his children.

Susan: Well, he said that maybe you need a honeymoon, so we have a convertible sofa so I guess that would do.

EJ: Mother, Samantha isn't going anywhere, and neither, for that matter, am I. Dove invited women to a makeover with a difference.

Hope: Aiden, I wouldn't be here if I didn't want to be. There's no doubt in my mind that I want to give this--us... a chance.

Aiden: Well, I'm glad.

Hope: And you know, it's also because I finally feel that I have no other choice but to try to make a life for myself.

Aiden: Look, if this doesn't click, okay, whatever, this is no harm, no foul. Okay? We just go back to being friends--right?

Hope: [Sighs] Yes, exactly. Okay.

Aiden: Mostly. All right, well, I do have an amazing afternoon planned, if I do say so myself.

Hope: Do you?

Aiden: Mm-hmm. Now, I understand that you are a Sondheim fan.

Hope: Who told you that?

Aiden: Well, I have my resources, you know. Um, so how would you like to go see a matinee of company after lunch?

Hope: What? No, no, no, are you serious right now?

Aiden: Of course I'm serious right now.

Hope: I would love to but they've been sold out for--

Aiden: Well a client scored me some tickets, okay. And look, I promise I will get you back to Salem in time for dinner. Okay?

Hope: Well, you have thought of everything, haven't you?

Aiden: That's right. Really want our first date to be perfect.

Hope: Oh!

Eve: Let go of me, JJ.

JJ: Um, I'm sorry, I just wanted a chance to be able to explain myself, 'cause I can prove that I'm telling the truth.

Eve: Really? Well how?

JJ: Well, it's not exactly hard evidence, but um, just give me one second.

[Phone ringing]

Daniel: Hey, what's goin' on?

JJ: Hey, um, Daniel, I'm in need of a big favor, um--is there any way that you can meet up with me in the next hour or so?

Daniel: Well as a matter of fact, I was about to go on break. Um, how 'bout my place?

JJ: Oh, that sounds great, um, and I just want to let you know that I'm going to be bringing Paige's mom along with me.

Stefano: You're starting to sound like Celeste--vibes and eyes of--[Laughs]

Kristen: Actually, you know what, it's your fault.

Stefano: Moi?

Kristen: Yeah, because yesterday you had to remind me that even the best-laid plans can go awry. And then you sent me that horrible photo. Why did you do that? I mean, it was very unnerving.

Stefano: It was simply a caution not to let down your guard. Now, if you are finished prattling on about yourself, I have a favor to ask.

Susan: Elvis, you're so cute.

EJ: Mother--

Susan: Yes you are, and I know that sometimes I tend to embarrass you.

EJ: Oh, I have no idea what you're talking about.

Susan: Yes, you do, and it's okay. It's part of the reason why I stayed away, honey, even though it crushed my heart, knowing that you were being corrupted by your evil father and-- I'm biting my tongue, right now, Elvis, I'm biting my tongue so hard I bet it's bleeding. But I do want you to know that I stayed away, also, 'cause I knew that you were living the life you always wanted to be livin'. A life that Edmund and me couldn't give you--Edmund and I? Me and Edmund? I never get that right. But anyway, I had that premonition and I knew that I just had to spring into action like a momma bear protecting her baby bear cub.

EJ: Mother, I know how much you love me--

Susan: I love you.

EJ: And I love you, and I wish that I could spend more time with you, but Samantha and I are just in the process of rebuilding our relationship.

Susan: It's okay, I said she could come too--if she really has to.

EJ: Well--

Sami: Um, that's just so nice of you. Thank you, but I'm--I'm busy, you know, I have to stay here, I'm running DiMera enterprises--with Elvis.

Susan: You see, that's the work of the devil. Now come on, you need a new job, Elvis. Why don't you come to England, I know the perfect job for you. You could work for the sun, it's just like the national enquirer, only a whole lot classier. Please? Won't you do this for your momma? Please, it'd make me so happy. Please? Please? Please?

EJ: Mother--

Susan: Please, Elvis?

EJ: This is my home. I'm staying in Salem.

Susan: Well then so am I.

Waiter: I'm so sorry, again.

Aiden: No, it's, it's, it's okay.

Waiter: Unfortunately, now, there's been a small kitchen fire.

Hope: Oh my God, was anyone hurt?

Waiter: We put it out, but all we have left to serve is coffee and mints--on the house.

Aiden: On the house. Thank you, so much. Mints--thank you so--these are my favorite. Thank you, appreciate it. Thank you.

Hope: Oh, my gosh.

Aiden: Thank you, yeah, thank you. Ah, this is unbelievable, hope, I am so sorry.

Hope: No, don't worry, it's fine--really, it's-- we'll grab something quick on the way to the theater and try to find you a new shirt. Not that there's anything wrong with that fabulous-looking t-shirt.

Aiden: Are you sure you don't mind?

Hope: No. As much as I was looking forward to my spaghetti--which you know I was--I'm much more excited about the show.

Aiden: You are? Good, good, because it has amazing reviews and I think it's going to be a lot of--

[Phone ringing]

Aiden: I'm so sorry, do you mind if I just--

Hope: No, please, take it.

Aiden: I apologize --

Hope: What? The show's been cancelled now? Is that next?

Aiden: Yes. The show's been cancelled.

Hope: What?

Aiden: Yeah. Oh-- this is unbelievable.

Kayla: Have you met our new intern, Paige Larson?

Maxine: No.

Kayla: Paige, if you are under the false impression that I run this place, mm-mm-mm. You got a problem or an issue, you go to her.

Paige: [Chuckles] Got it.

Maxine: Dr. Jonas requested a counseling consult for a new admit. They're slammed downstairs and haven't been able to get to her yet, so, I thought maybe you could talk to her in the meantime. I hate to keep her waiting. I have a feeling that you'll know just what to say.

Kayla: Yeah. I'll take care of it right away.

Daniel: I took a blood sample from JJ the night of the party, and I can assure you he wasn't drinking. The only substance that I found in his system was a drug. The name that I doubt you'd recognize, but in the vernacular, it's called a roofie.

Eve: So he was taking drugs.

JJ: No, nobody takes a roofie on purpose.

Eve: Actually, JJ, they do.

JJ: Fine, whatever. Explain these pictures accidentally getting sent to Paige, eve, I'm telling you that I was set up.

Daniel: Okay, eve, I've gotten to know JJ and I believe he's telling the truth. He would not take that drug on purpose.

Eve: And I should trust you because, why? I mean, you've made it very clear, Daniel, you don't trust me.

Daniel: I know that you and I, we've had our differences, but I want you to understand that I believe that Paige is a fantastic young woman. Otherwise, I wouldn't have helped her get an internship at the hospital.

Eve: I should just fall down at your feet in gratitude?

Daniel: All I'm saying is that I wouldn't be advocating for JJ if I had a single doubt about his innocence.

Eve: Huh? JJ, would you give us a moment, please, I would like to talk to Daniel--alone.

EJ: Mother, look, listen, this is completely ridiculous, you understand? I'm not in any danger.

Susan: How do you know that, Elvis? I'm the one that has this feeling, not you. And now that I'm here, I have it a whole lot more. I can see it in your eyes, Elvis, you're up to something. Somethin's gonna cause you a world of trouble. I think you need to tell your momma about this, you just get it on out. You get it on out, you get it on out, you're gonna feel a whole lot better.

EJ: Look, this is ridiculous, mother--

Marlena: Susan... banks.

Susan: Now Dr. Marlena Evans, look at you, you're just as beautiful as the day I left. What happened to your arm, now, you hurt yourself?

Marlena: Oh, skateboarding accident. All: [Laughing] The kids love hearing that, isn't it silly? No, I was just--it's a sprain, that's all. But speaking of lovely, you have not changed a bit.

Susan: Oh, thank you. Edmund's love, I guess, just keeps me young.

Marlena: I can see that it does. Is he with you?

Susan: No, he's not.

Marlena: Oh, I'm sorry. So, how long will you be in Salem?

EJ: Actually, mother is going to be getting a flight home later today. But in the meantime, you two should catch up. If you don't mind, Samantha and I actually have a business meeting that we need to attend, so Marlena, maybe you'd be kind enough to amuse my mother for a couple of hours--

Marlena: Oh, I'd be charmed. Thank you, I would love to.

Sami: No, no, thank you.

Marlena: I just--I came by, I was hoping to see children when they get home from school

Susan: Children--can't wait to meet the children.

Marlena: Oh, they are so precious.

Susan: I'm sure they are, I've seen pictures.

Sami: Hey, mom, this is the card, right, I told you Johnny and the kids--

Marlena: Oh, yeah.

Sami: Made for john.

Marlena: Okay, that's great, I'll give it to him--he'll be very touched.

EJ: Wonderful--well, we'll be back shortly.

Susan: You might think this is all settled, but it's not.

EJ: Time will tell, mother.

Susan: It certainly will.

Sami: Mom, see ya. Mom.

EJ: Come on.

Sami: 'Kay.

Susan: Well now look at that.

Marlena: Uh-huh.

Susan: The children did that. It just--

Marlena: Amazing.

Susan: Artists, huh?

Marlena: They are, they are--runs in the family, I suppose.

Susan: So how are you and john?

Aiden: So, is there anything in particular you'd like to do while we are here? Would you like to, I don't know, maybe gawk at the sears tower or take a dip in freezing lake Michigan?

Hope: Well, I think we should quit while we're ahead.

Aiden: Are we ahead?

Hope: The mints are really good.

Aiden: I wanted our first date to be memorable, guess I got what wished for, hmm? Just not quite the way I intended.

Hope: Come on, you have to admit, this is gonna be a great story to tell the kids some day. I had fun. I did. But then again, I'm not the one who had a plate of pasta dumped on me. It was nice just spending time with you.

Aiden: So, are you saying you might be willing to try this again?

Kayla: I thought it might be more comfortable to speak in here. Uh, may I call you Lucy?

Lucy: Oh, could you, please, leave it open, I don't want to be closed in here with anyone.

Kayla: Of course.

Lucy: No offense.

Kayla: Would you like me to call a family member or a friend to be here with you?

Lucy: No, I don't want anyone to know... about what happened to me.

Kayla: Why not?

Lucy: Um,... cause I feel like it's my fault. If I'd just been more--more careful, or--

Kayla: Lucy, listen to me. You were raped. You are not to be blamed in any way. An act of violence was committed against your will. Listen to me. Seriously, this is not your fault. It is not your fault. It isn't your fault.

Eve: As a parent, you've gotta understand my concern. I mean, what if it was your daughter? What was her name?

Daniel: Melanie.

Eve: Alright, Melanie. What if she came home and told you that her ex-druggie boyfriend had some compromising pictures taken of himself with another woman? That he didn't remember it happening, but they found drugs in his system. Wouldn't you be just a little bit skeptical of his story?

Daniel: Okay, you know what, yeah I would, but see, I know JJ.

Eve: Yes you do, and from everything Theresa's told me, he's lied to you over and over again. He's caused you a world of trouble. Now what makes you think he hasn't reverted back to his old ways, Daniel?

Daniel: Eve--

Eve: No, you're not omniscient. You can't know. But what I don't understand is why you're so quick to take his side, I mean-- unless, oh-- you're trying to score points with the fair Jennifer, aren't you?

Daniel: My opinion of JJ has nothing to do with Jennifer, but I'm not so sure you could say the same.

Marlena: John, uh, john had an accident.

Susan: Huh! Oh, no! Is he alright?

Marlena: Well, he's, he's recovering at university hospital and the prognosis is good.

Susan: Well that's-- that's wonderful news.

Marlena: I will pass on your good wishes.

Susan: Please do. Dr. Marlena, when I think about the things I did back then, to the two of you, I feel so bad.

Marlena: Oh, no, no, no, no, no. Susan, Susan, there is no need, no need for that at all.

Susan: Well, I guess everything ended up the way it should, right? I mean, I'm with Edmund and you're with john.

Marlena: Yeah.

Susan: Although the two of you must be gettin' bad whiplash by now, when you're on again, you're off again, you're on again, you're off again--

Marlena: Yeah, I get it, I get it--[Laughing]. Well, you know what, we've been through a rough patch, but it's given me perspective. I really do belong with him--always have.

Susan: Well, I think that's just the sweetest think I've ever heard.

Marlena: Well, thanks. And now, what--what brings you to Salem?

[Phone ringing]

Marlena: Oh, I'm so sorry, so sorry, nothing changes, right? Oh, oh, dear. Oh, dear, I've gotta get back. I am so sorry.

Susan: Well, you're sacrificing yourself for the kooks and crazies of Salem, still, huh? Well, we're not gonna say goodbye because we're family now, we're gonna be seeing a whole lot more of each other, right?

Marlena: Yes, we are. You know what, I haven't seen you for years, and you look exactly the same.

Susan: You know, that might be so, but I think you, Elvis, you're givin' me gray hair. How in the heck am I gonna get you out of here. (Announcer) are you dealing with hot flashes during menopause?

Hope: Do I wanna come back here? No.

Aiden: Mm-mm. Do I wanna do this again? Not this, exactly. But a second date? Okay. I would, yes.

Aiden: Good, good, so would I.

Hope: And so we don't get ahead of ourselves, I think maybe we should end this date, um, on a proper note.

Eve: You know, I don't even know what you're talking about.

Daniel: Sure you do. You hate Jennifer and it kills you that your daughter is dating her son. That's the real reason you disapprove, huh?

Eve: No, it is not.

Daniel: No? Then why don't you just give him a chance?

Eve: I have, Daniel. Yes, I know in my heart, what kind of guy JJ Deveraux is.

Daniel: Oh yeah, based on what? Based on the fact I knew his father.

Kayla: I know you're scared right now.

Lucy: That's easy to say, but you can't possibly know.

Kayla: Yes, I can, Lucy, and I do. I've been where you are. I was raped. I'm a survivor, too.

Sami: I can't believe this Mr. Miller's late.

EJ: Good, maybe it gives us a chance to come up with a plan to get rid of my mother. You never know, we could say there's been an Elvis Presley sighting in London.

Sami: EJ, we should talk about the fact that she might be right.

EJ: You don't seriously believe that, do you?

Sami: Well, I mean, everything is perfect.

EJ: It is perfect. Do not let my crazy mother's rantings get to you. Nothing is going to change that.

Susan: I should do something productive while I'm waiting for Elvis. I know, maybe I'll go pay john a visit. That's what I'm gonna do. Yesiree, a little visit from me is gonna perk that man right up. 'Kay.
