Episode #12357 ~ EJ & Sami warn Kate against pressuring Stefano to derail their wedding; Will realizes Sonny has been keeping a secret.

Provided By Suzanne

Kate: Stefano, when are you coming home? That long? Well, I suppose I could manage. No, no, no, I understand. You have to have all your ducks in a row for that big board meeting. And finally you will show everyone exactly who is boss at DiMera enterprises.

Sonny: Here you go, Ben.

Ben: Oh, thanks.

Will: I just filled Ben and Abigail in on... [Sniffles] Gabi's plea bargain.

Ben: I'll start unpacking that shipment.

Will: Are you upset that the judge accepted Gabi's deal? I know Julie wanted Gabi to go to prison for the rest of her life.

Abigail: No, I-I wouldn't want that. But... Nick is still family, and... you know, Gabi is not the friend that I thought she was, especially after I found out what she did to Melanie.

Will: What did she do to Melanie?

Daniel: [Sighs] Ugh. [Sighs]

Jennifer: If I hadn't... told Eric the truth, I honestly believe that he would have never found out.

Daniel: I thought you knew me... so well. And now I'm not so sure you know me at all.

Jordan: Rafe, I'm so sorry. I know how hard it must've been to have to say good-bye to Gabi.

Rafe: I let her down.

Jordan: Rafe...

Rafe: Just like I let my sister Ari down.

Jordan: You didn't.

Rafe: You know, you keep saying that, but you weren't here. You have no idea.

Hope: Sorry to keep you waiting.

Rafe: Oh.

Hope: I was briefing the mayor.

Rafe: Yeah, so what'd you want to talk to me about?

Hope: Gabi's case.

Rafe: I thought the case was closed.

Hope: I'm afraid there's still one last issue we need to deal with.

Sami: Mom.

Marlena: Sami.

Sami: I was just filling grandma in on Gabi's situation. She--

Marlena: Julie told me that the judge had accepted the plea bargain, that... Gabi is headed off to prison.

Sami: Let me guess... you think I belong in the cell next to her.

Rafe: Looks like this is gonna take a while, so... you should probably get going.

Jordan: Oh, I don't mind staying.

Rafe: No, I appreciate that, but... this is something I should-- I should deal with on my own.

Jordan: Okay.

Rafe: I'll call you later.

Jordan: Sure.

Rafe: So... you were saying?

Hope: Rafe, there's something you need to know. When Gabi confessed to nick's murder, she admitted to committing another crime... against Melanie Jonas.

Abigail: Gabi hired this guy Andrew to pretend to stalk her to get Chad's attention. What she didn't know was that Andrew decided on his own to kidnap Melanie.

Will: What?

Abigail: Yeah, and when Gabi found out, she didn't say anything because she was too afraid of getting caught. Will, I'm sorry. I-I thought that you would know this. Gabi said it was gonna come out in court.

Will: I had no idea.

Abigail: Gabi... [Scoffs] I mean, if she would have just come forward, then maybe none of this stuff would've happened and Nick could still be alive, and I'm kicking myself because...

Will: For what? You didn't know.

Abigail: No, but I-I knew that something wasn't right. And if I would've just paid more attention or maybe just asked a few more questions, then... I don't know--things could be a whole lot different now.

Sonny: Abby... don't do that to yourself. We all could've made different decisions.

[Arianna fusses]

Will: She must be hungry. We should get her home.

Sonny: Yeah, let's get out of here.

Will: [Clears throat]

Abigail: Okay, well, I'll talk to you guys soon.

Will: See you later.

Abigail: [Sighs]

Kate: I can't wait to see you too. Bye. [Chuckles] I'm so glad I ran into you.

EJ: Mm, I'm sure. Since when?

Kate: Well, I wanted to thank you for getting Gabi such a decent plea bargain.

EJ: I think we can dispense of the pleasantries, don't you, Kate? Why don't you tell me what it is you're really up to?

Marlena: That was an interesting thing to say. Do you think you deserve to be in prison?

Sami: No. No, I don't. But I know how judgmental you've been about what happened, just like you are about everything.

Marlena: What happened was you and Kate tried to murder Nick by throwing him into the river, hoping that he would drown. Were you expecting a pat on the back for that?

Sami: No. After all, I failed. Who knew a dead man would be such a good swimmer?

Marlena: Oh.

Sami: Mom, I was helping Gabi. And I know Gabi would say the same thing too.

Marlena: She doesn't blame you or Kate.

Sami: But you do.

Marlena: I would like to see you take responsibility for your actions.

Sami: My God! You want me to turn myself into the police. You think... I should go to prison.

New Hershey's spreads.

Daniel: Okay, Melanie, Melanie, I hate to lay this on you now when there's nothing much you can do to help Gabi, but... I know you guys are good friends and... well, why didn't you just tell me this was a bad time? I... no, I can talk to you later. It's fi-- really? You want to come visit? Well, if I'm surprised, it's because you always come up with a reason not to visit. I-- no, it would be great to see you right now. No! No, no, no, no. Everything's fine. No, I just--just, you know, miss my little girl, that's all. Okay. All right, bye. All right, bye, sweetheart. [Sighs]

[Cell phone vibrating]

Ben: Hey. I heard Gabi's plea bargain was approved.

Jordan: Yeah.

Ben: How'd things go with Rafe?

Jordan: It was a mistake... going to the courthouse. He needed more space.

Ben: [Sighs] He's not upset with you. It's the situation. You can't take it personally. Look, he may need space, but he also needs you. You've got to keep letting him know that you're there for him.

Jordan: Yeah, I guess.

Ben: Hey, my shift's almost done. You want me to come keep you company?

Jordan: Uh, no, it's okay. I'm fine. But thank you for being such a great brother.

Ben: [Chuckles] Hey, I learned from the best. We'll talk soon, okay?

Jordan: Yeah, soon.

Hope: One of the guys she hired went rogue and kidnapped Melanie. She never came forward with any information about that.

Rafe: Right. Listen, hope, there's--

Hope: Stop. None of this matters now. I consider this case closed. The reason I'm telling you this is because it was a part of Gabi's confession... and also because it's going to become public knowledge very soon. As far as Melanie, apparently she found out about it before she left Salem... and decided, for her own reasons, to keep it to herself.

Rafe: Yeah.

Hope: But there are some people that need to be filled in.

Rafe: Before they read it in the paper.

Hope: Exactly. Like Maggie and Daniel.

Rafe: Yeah. Yeah. Listen, if it's all right with you... I'd like to be the one that tells Daniel.

Hope: I thought you would.

Rafe: [Sighs] Well... thanks. Yeah.

Hope: Rafe?

Rafe: Uh-huh?

Hope: It doesn't do any good to blame yourself for what happened to Gabi.

Rafe: Yeah. Right.

Marlena: No. I don't want to see you go to prison.

Sami: Then what do you want?

Marlena: I want to see you show some regret for what you did to Nick Fallon... because it was just about six months after you shot Bernardi.

Sami: To save Rafe. You act like you want me to apologize for my whole life.

Marlena: You know what I want? I want you to have a wonderful life... same as you want for your children. And I don't want to see you end up like Kate.

Sami: Oh, well, that makes two of us.

Marlena: Then please show a little remorse for what you've done.

Sami: No... I won't... because we're talking about Nick Fallon. Frankly, the only regret I have is that he was pulled out of that river before he died.

Ben: Hey. How's it going?

Abigail: It's, uh... it's going.

Ben: My shift just ended. Want to go for a walk?

Abigail: You know, I'm not sure I'd be such great company right now.

Ben: Well, if you're not in the mood to talk, it's okay, but it might be nice to get out and enjoy the day.

Abigail: Yeah, you know what? Um...yes. Let's go.

Will: You know, I thought at this point, nothing would surprise me, but... [Sniffles] Finding out that Gabi was involved in Melanie's kidnapping, that... that threw me. That's crazy, right?

Sonny: Will... uh, there's something I have to tell you.

Will: You knew, didn't you? [Sighs] I knew it. There was always something about Gabi that you didn't like. And what have we been talking about--no more secrets between us? You're my husband. We're supposed to share everything with each other.

Sonny: I'm sorry, will, not this time.

Kate: I don't know what you're talking about. Oh... are you talking about the phone call with your father? [Scoffs] Were you eavesdropping on me?

EJ: No, I could hear your conversation from the other side of the square.

Kate: Oh. Well, then why are you suspicious? We were just catching up.

EJ: You were having a conversation about DiMera enterprises.

Kate: Well, your father always has appreciated my business sense.

EJ: I had always thought it was, uh... rather different assets that my father appreciated.

Kate: You know, I thought you would appreciate that your father and I are getting along. I mean, aren't you the one who pressured me to forgive him? Aren't you the one who told me you had never seen Stefano happier than when he was with me, or am I just imagining those conversations?

EJ: Well, was I imagining when you said you would never forgive him in a million years? I mean, after what you've been through, the idea of you two actually...

Kate: Your father and I are not the kind of people who hold grudges.

EJ: [Laughs] Right.

Kate: You should learn from that.

Marlena: You can't mean that.

Sami: I absolutely do. Nick Fallon almost got will killed. He tried to take Arianna away from her home, her father. And he was trying to do it again.

Marlena: He was a human being. He had family, and nobody had the right to kill him.

Sami: He didn't have the right to do what he was doing. Do you even have any idea how sick and twisted he was?

Marlena: I do. And so did he. He was asking for help. Listen to this.

Nick: Hi, uh, Marlena. It's Nick Fallon. Um...

Sami: Look, I know, okay? I heard it.

Nick: Julie suggested that I call you.

Marlena: Keep listening.

Nick: She thought you might be able to recommend somebody for me to see, you know, professionally--professionally. Um... you know, I just--I don't-- I don't think--I don't think I can go on like this. And... um, I just got to shut it all down, you know? Um, it's--it's time. I know that I'm hurting people. I know that. And I'm hurting me. I'm hurting myself, and... and I don't want to do that. And I can--I can change it. [Sighs] It feels really good just actually saying that, you know, like--like--like, maybe there's hope.

Marlena: Okay. Can you hear the desperation, the torment in his voice? But there was hope... because there is always hope. He needed help. He was trying to get it, but he never had the chance.

Sami: What are you talking about? He had plenty of chances, and he blew them all. What were the rest of us supposed to do--just sit around letting him torture us while he figured out that he needed to make a change? A change that was, by the way, never going to happen. I'm sorry, mom. No way. I know what you want to hear me say right now, but I'm not going to. I am glad that monster is dead... for good this time.

[Door slams]

Marlena: [Sighs]

Daniel: Rafe.

Rafe: Yeah, listen, sorry to show up without calling.

Daniel: No. No worries. It's great to see you. How'd it go with Gabi this morning? Come on in.

Rafe: Uh... okay.

Daniel: Hey, look, I, uh-- you know, I left you a message. If you need me to write a letter or if there's any way I can help--

Rafe: No, no, no, thanks. Thanks, but, um... the judge already okayed Gabi's plea agreement. She's on her way to prison, so...

Daniel: I'm sorry about that. I mean... I mean, it is the best-case scenario. I mean, Gabi--she was a good kid who caught up in a terrible situation.

Rafe: Yeah. Well, there's actually something else that I need to talk to you about.

Daniel: Did Nicole call you?

Rafe: Nicole? No, why?

Daniel: I just thought maybe... never mind. It's--maybe she'll tell you. It's complicated.

Rafe: Yeah. Speaking of complicated, um...

Daniel: Yeah, what is-- what's going on here?

Rafe: Well, it's about you and me and... Gabi.

Ben: You want to sit?

Abigail: Sure.

Ben: I know you don't feel like talking, but, uh... can I ask you a question? It's kind of personal.

Abigail: Oh, uh, sure.

Ben: What was it like living in London?

Abigail: Wow. That--that is really random.

Ben: Yeah, well, you're looking at a person who's never been outside the U.S., Like, not even Canada.

Abigail: Oh.

Ben: London's near the top of my bucket list.

Abigail: Wait. Okay, you're way too young to have a bucket list.

Ben: It's long enough that I need to get on it.

Abigail: All right, well, uh, what do you want to know about London, besides the fact that you absolutely have to go there?

Ben: [Chuckles] Well, I'm not really interested in the touristy stuff. But when you were there, what were your favorite things to do?

Abigail: Oh, God, uh... well, my mom and I would go to the theatre almost every week. It's not nearly as expensive as it is here. Um, with my dad, it was... the museums-- the Tate modern, the v&A. I totally sound like a guidebook right now.

Ben: No. No, no, it's not like you were doing those things to check them off a list.

Abigail: No, no, not at all. It's really great. My dad taught me so much about art and--and history and Shakespeare. I just--I wish I would've paid more attention.

Ben: I heard somewhere that your dad wrote a book.

Abigail: Yeah, he did. He, um... he wrote a book about his time as a hostage in Afghanistan.

Ben: A hostage?

Abigail: Yeah.

Ben: [Scoffs]

Abigail: It's really great that he got a chance to tell his story, you know? It's important. And it's selling really well, which is great, because it means that a lot of people have heard it.

Ben: Yeah.

Abigail: Um... I don't know if this is even gonna happen, but a studio is negotiating right now to buy the rights and turn it into a film.

Ben: [Exhales sharply] Still, that's awesome!

Abigail: Yeah.

Ben: Wow.

Abigail: Yeah, my mom is... is giving all the proceeds to veterans organizations. And it's just so nice to know that my dad's legacy is contributing to such an important cause.

Ben: I bet. Your family's so--just...

Abigail: Complicated?

Ben: [Chuckles] Every family's complicated. I was going to say "accomplished."

Abigail: You know, I don't know a single thing about your family.

Ben: [Sighs] Oh, it's just...

Abigail: What? Come on, why don't you tell me about them?

Ben: [Sighs]

EJ: Listen, I want to know every move my father makes, especially anything that has to do with this upcoming board meeting, okay? Thank you. Hey.

Sami: Hey.

EJ: How you doing? How did your grandmother take the news about Gabi?

Sami: Oh, not well. She's upset, obviously. She was so close to Gabi. But she knows it's better than if it had gone to trial. You want to tell me what was going on with that phone call?

EJ: I, um--I just overheard Kate having a conversation with my father.

Sami: [Sighs] What did she say about me now?

EJ: Nothing. No, no, no. But, um, I got a feeling this may be a bumpy ride.

Sami: [Sighs]

Sonny: And then Nick forced Chad into signing a legal agreement stipulating that no one would know Gabi hired Andrew.

Will: So how did you find out?

Sonny: Chad blurted it out.

Will: So he broke the agreement.

Sonny: He didn't mean to. And I wanted to tell you so badly, but my dad's the one that drew up the agreement, and he told me I couldn't tell anyone, not even you.

Will: So you felt like if you told me that you'd--

Sonny: I would be betraying Chad and my father. And I swear to you, will, if I thought for one minute this could hurt you by knowing this information, I would've told you. I never want anything to happen to you. I hope you can forgive me.

Will: [Chuckles] Of course I do. [Sighs] So much makes sense now. Nick always had this over Gabi. Whether or not he used it against her... he always had this control over her... from the very beginning of their relationship.

Sonny: Yeah. I was angry at Gabi for a very long time. But I do know that she felt horrible about what happened to Melanie.

Will: And now she's admitted it to the police. Everyone knows... and it's going to get ugly.

Rafe: You should know that killing Nick wasn't Gabi's first crime.

Daniel: Okay, you don't really have to explain this to me.

Rafe: I do, yeah. You see, Gabi got involved in something a while back that was, uh... it was pretty serious. It was around the time that you and I were helping Nicole hide her pregnancy from EJ.

Daniel: Uh-huh.

Rafe: We actually became good friends.

Daniel: Okay.

Rafe: Well... Gabi should've probably gone to prison for what she did then.

Daniel: Okay, I don't know why you feel the need to tell me this.

Rafe: Because... it involved Melanie.

Daniel: What do you mean?

Rafe: What I mean is that Gabi was responsible for hiring Andrew... the guy that kidnapped Melanie.

Marlena: How are you holding up?

Hope: I was his family, and I let him down.

Marlena: No, you didn't.

Hope: Yes, I did. I wasn't there for him, not nearly as much as I should've been.

Marlena: You know what? When tragedy strikes... we all try to figure out what we could've one differently... how maybe one little thing might've changed... everything. But that sort of thinking is counterproductive, except when it makes us do things differently in the future.

Hope: I hope so.

Marlena: I know so. And it's the people that don't have regrets that should really concern us.

Sami: There is no way I'm gonna let that woman come between us.

EJ: Hey, I don't think you need to worry about that. Look, what Kate wants more than anything else is--is money, power, and respect.

Sami: Well, good luck to her.

EJ: I overheard, during this conversation, my father talking about how this upcoming board meeting would be a good opportunity to show who is really in charge at DiMera enterprises.

Sami: You are, EJ. Stefano had better not try to take that away from you, not after everything that you went through to earn back his trust.

EJ: I don't think we need to worry about that.

Sami: You don't think?

EJ: No. My father and I-- we're on solid ground. I don't think he'd do anything to unsettle that, unless...

Sami: Unless he is that desperate to get Kate back.

Ben: My family's boring.

Abigail: [Chuckles] You know, somehow I doubt that.

Ben: We haven't lived in south Africa... and Ireland and... which one did you like the best?

Abigail: London. Yeah, definitely London, not just because of the city, but because it was also the... the last place that my whole family was together.

Ben: Hmm.

Abigail: You didn't really want to ask me about London, though, did you?

Ben: What makes you say that?

Abigail: Because I think that you were doing that to distract me from thinking about everything with Nick and Gabi.

Ben: No, no, I just really wanted to--

Abigail: Ben... thank you.

Ben: You're welcome. But I honestly did want to hear about London.

Abigail: [Chuckles]

Ben: And it was nice to learn a little bit more about you. You've had a really interesting life.

Abigail: Well, I wish it were a little less interesting, especially the last couple of weeks.

Ben: I bet.

Abigail: You know, Nick was, uh... yeah, he was the smartest person I ever knew. And Gabi... [Voice breaking] She had this beautiful child and... this bright future ahead of her. It's just such a waste, you know?

Ben: What do you think happened?

Abigail: I think that, uh... one bad decision led to another, and... it's crazy how fast everything just spiraled out of control or how easy it is for something like that to happen.

Ben: Abigail, they made a lot of bad choices.

Abigail: Yeah. Yeah.

Ben: Hey. Look at me. That is not going to happen to you.

Abigail: What if it already has?

Rafe: Gabi was desperate to get Chad's attention, and... Chad only had eyes for Melanie.

Daniel: All right, go on.

Rafe: So... Gabi got this crazy idea to hire Andrew to stalk her. Um, but as it turns out, Andrew was mentally unstable, obviously, and without my sister's knowledge or consent, he decided to kidnap Melanie. And when my sister found out, she--she didn't say anything.

Daniel: [Scoffs] Melanie could've been killed. She almost was. How could Gabi--

Rafe: I do not know.

Daniel: Well... I mean, does Melanie know about this?

Rafe: Yeah. Gabi told her.

Daniel: Yeah? When?

Rafe: Well, not long before Melanie left town. Um, Nick also knew about it. He was using that information to blackmail my sister... until she shot him. Gabi confessed to all of this, which is why it's all coming out now.

Daniel: So that's why Melanie was acting so strange when I talked to her on the phone about Gabi. I thought she was upset that her--her great friend was in prison. I mean, why... why didn't Melanie ever tell me what happened?

Rafe: Well... Melanie agreed to keep quiet about the whole thing. Obviously she never forgave my sister for what she'd done.

Daniel: Oh, of course not.

Rafe: Listen, I-I'm really sorry.

Daniel: It's--it's not really your fault. I mean, you must've been as shocked as I am... I mean, more, learning all this on top of finding out your little sister shot Nick.

Yeah, well... I didn't... I didn't just find out. After Gabi told Melanie, she... she told me. And, uh... I also encouraged Gabi not to tell anyone else.

Sonny: I keep thinking Gabi's gonna come home.

Will: Me too.

Sonny: You and I talked about having our own place one day, but... not like this.

Will: [Scoffs] No. Her not being here, it's--it's strange.

Sonny: [Sighs] I keep on thinking, like, "who's gonna tell me when the Kardashians break up again?"

Will: I think they already did.

Sonny: See?

Will: [Laughs]

Sonny: And who's gonna watch mystery science theater when I'm up with Ari at 2:00 A.M.?

Will: Me.

Sonny: Who's gonna bake brownies when we get the midnight munchies?

Will: You.

Sonny: [Laughs] [Sighs]

Will: You know, I think I actually miss her yelling at us for leaving the toilet seat up. [Sniffles]

Sonny: We really did have a good thing going, didn't we?

Will: Hey... we still do.

Daniel: You're a cop. How could you advise Gabi not to confess what she had done?

Rafe: Well, I was protecting my little sister.

Daniel: Well, what about my daughter? She had to deal with all of this on her own. Her friend betrayed her, and sh-- and that's one of the reasons she left town. She said it was because of Chad, but I knew--I knew there was a reason.

Rafe: Well...

Daniel: I knew.

Rafe: You're right. She was upset with Chad. He did not tell her the truth. And she also... couldn't stand the sight of my sister, so...

Daniel: And now that Gabi's in prison... Melanie finally decided that she might come visit. I could never really understand why she had stayed away for so long. You know, if--if you had just told Gabi to come forward, take responsibility for what she had done... my daughter may have never left in the first place.

Rafe: Yeah. Yeah, I get that now. Listen, I understand that I made a huge mistake. I understand that if Gabi would have paid for what she did then, then... Nick would still be alive. Listen, Daniel, I am sorry, okay? I am really sorry that I caused you and Melanie all this pain. You've been a great friend to me. Listen, I know that this is a lot to ask, okay? But if you can find it in your heart to forgive me, uh, I'll...

Daniel: I, um... I-I don't think I can talk to you about this. I need to speak with my daughter.

Rafe: Well, I understand.

Sami: I just don't understand why Stefano would try to freeze you out to make Kate happy. Nothing makes that woman happy. And I don't understand what he sees in her anyway. Don't...answer that. She just wants the power of being the lady of the DiMera mansion. Now that I'm in her place, it's making her crazy.

EJ: I'm sure it is.

Sami: She's gonna do anything to try to stop us from getting married. And now that she has Stefano's ear, she's trying to undermine your authority at DiMera enterprises. [Sighs] I swear, e-- speak of the devil.

EJ: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Where are you going?

Sami: I am going to put that bitch in her place. Let's go!

Ben: What are you talking about? You haven't murdered anyone lately, have you?

Abigail: No, but...

Ben: [Chuckles]

Abigail: I've definitely made my share of terrible mistakes.

Ben: Really? Then I'm not sure I should be hanging out with you... because I have never made a single mistake in my entire life. Mm-hmm.

Abigail: [Laughs]

Ben: I'm kind of perfect. Haven't you noticed that? Yeah. [Chuckles] You think that's funny? I'm serious. Abigail, I am a perfect person who always does exactly the right thing at exactly the right time.

Abigail: Really?

Ben: It's a curse. Really, yeah. Hmm.

Abigail: Sounds awful for you.

Ben: Eh... wait. You believe me, don't you?

Abigail: Yes, of course. I totally believe you.

Ben: Good. Well, then trust me when I say this is the right thing to do.

Daniel: No, Melanie, Melanie, I just wish you would've confided in me when you found out. No, of course I understand. Yeah, sometimes you just got to... you got to handle things your own way, that's all. I'm just having a hard time wrapping my head around it. Yeah. I just can't believe Gabi would do something like that. Look, baby, I am so sorry that you had to go through this. I am. No, it is. You know, it's hard... when someone you care about, someone you think you know so well... just ends up disappointing you.

[Cell phone ringing]

Rafe: [Sighs] Mama. Yeah. Yeah, the sentencing's over. Well... mama, yes, I was just about to call you, actually. The judge accepted the plea. Well, it's, uh, 10 to 20 years, with the possibility of parole. Well, no, I told you, this-- mama, this is good news. Please, please don't cry. This is the best that we could've asked for. No, you can't talk to her right now. She's... she's already on the way... to prison. Mama, please, please try not to worry. I promise you that I am gonna check on her. I'm gonna make sure-- I know that I promised you that I would make sure-- mama? [Sighs] Way to go.

Sami: Kate, I don't know what game you're playing...

Kate: [Sighs]

Sami: But be prepared to lose, just like you always do.

Kate: This is exactly why Stefano should be running his own company before EJ runs it into the ground. When Stefano has a problem, he takes care of it, unlike his son...

Sami: [Scoffs]

Kate: Who just goes running to Sami.

Sami: I don't know what you're talking about.

EJ: Do you really think that I'm worried about the likes of you, Kate?

Kate: Why do you think that we're having this conversation? Why do you think Sami's about to explode? If you do anything to try to stop our wedding...

Kate: I don't give a damn about your wedding!

Sami: Really? Then why are you going around telling everyone in Salem that EJ's making a mistake marrying me?

Kate: Why do you care so much about what I say?

Sami: [Scoffs]

Kate: Is that because the two of us know that I'm right? You know, from my past experience, and I know Stefano would agree, there can be only one Mrs. DiMera in the mansion. And rest assured... that won't be you.

Sami: [Scoffs]
