Brady: What? Come on.
Nicole: [Humming] Just let it breathe. [Sighs]
[Soft piano music plays]
[Knock at door]
Oh, uh, just a second. Hi. [Chuckles]
Eric: Hi. You ready to go?
Nicole: Almost. Why don't you come in for a sec, please? You know, Daniel hasn't had people over in ages, so the last thing we want to be is too early.
Eric: [Laughs] Well, then let's take our time...
Eric: Maybe walk through the park.
Nicole: You know, I was hoping maybe we could, um, stay here and relax for a bit. I've missed you.
Eric: I missed you too.
Daniel: Uh-oh. Go find her! Where is she?
Daniel: Oh! There he is!
Abigail: Oh, my goodness! Hi, my sweet Parker! Oh, my God, I'M... I'm not... I'm not pregnant?
Daniel: He's been talking about Abigail all the way here. I think he's in love.
[Cell phone ringing]
JJ: Good for him.
Daniel: Ah, hold on. Hello?
Hope: Hey, Daniel. Hi. It's hope.
Daniel: Hope, hi.
Hope: I'm really glad I got a hold of you. Listen, I'm so sorry. I'm calling to apologize about not being able to make it to your party tonight. I called Jenn, but she didn't answer.
Daniel: She must be busy at the hospital.
Hope: Yeah, right. And, you know, I really do want to celebrate you two getting back together. You know, maybe, uh, we do a rain check--my treat. What do you say? Anyplace you want.
Daniel: Are you positive you can't do pizza? Our party's shrinking by the minute. Kayla bailed on us, and then Aiden Jennings had a conflict. So he won't be there.
Jennifer: Here you go. These are ready for distribution. Thank you.
Maxine: Great. Thanks. Incidentally, I just checked the website. There haven't been any more nasty comments about you.
Jennifer: Oh, that's great. I'm glad they took care of that so quickly.
[Cell phone ringing]
Maxine: Oh, pfft. I got to take this.
Jennifer: Oh, okay.
Aiden: Oh, great.
Jennifer: Oh, hi.
Aiden: Jennifer, you're still here.
Aiden: Inside here are the forms for JJ's probation reports. He can just, uh, mail them in.
Jennifer: That would be great. I'll make sure he does that. Are you sure that you can't come to the party? Because I think it would be a great chance for you to just meet some new friends...
Jennifer: You know?
Aiden: Yeah, yeah, thank you. But I really--I have a pile of work that I--
Jennifer: No, I understand. I do. It's just our party is getting smaller by the hour because Kayla canceled and now you, and hope canceled earlier.
Aiden: Really? I, uh... I hadn't realized.
Theresa: When a girl says "no," she means "no." And when a girl says "here," she means "here." You scared? Hmm?
Brady: No, I'm not scared.
Theresa: Nobody's home.
Brady: Yeah, I'm not sure-- I'm not so sure it's gonna stay that way.
Theresa: Oh, come on, where's your sense of danger? Something new to get you going.
Brady: Right here?
Brady: You sure?
Hope: Actually, um, you know what? I don't know why I didn't think of this, but Ciara's gonna be with her sitter at playtime in the square, and I really do want to celebrate the two of you. So maybe I, uh... I should just tackle all of that paperwork in the morning.
Daniel: And party tonight.
Hope: Why not?
Daniel: Ah, terrific.
Aiden: You know what? It's ridiculous for me to be new in town and not show up at a party where I can meet some great people. And chase does have a sitter tonight anyway.
Jennifer: So you're gonna come?
Aiden: I think I will come.
Nicole: I thought maybe we could have a glass of wine.
Eric: That sounds good.
Nicole: Awesome. You know, then we'll be all relaxed by the time we get to Daniel's, ready to have fun.
Eric: How was your day?
Nicole: Nothing much to it, really. But let's, uh... let's focus on right now, shall we? To us.
Eric: To us.
Brady: [Sighs] Maggie, I didn't know you'd be, uh, home so early.
Maggie: Well, you should know that Victor's probably already at titan. He got a message there'd been a fire at the Titan's factory in Indonesia.
Maggie: Yes, he tried texting you, but then he gave up and decided to handle it without you.
Maggie: You forgot a button.
Theresa: Oh. Thank you.
Brady: Damn it. You know, um... this may be a while. I have to call this in. This could be--this could be important. Are--are you okay?
Brady: You sure?
Theresa: Yeah. Go do your thing. I'm fine.
Maggie: What the hell are you doing?
Daniel: Have fun. Okay. Really appreciate you doing this.
Abigail: Yeah, absolutely. I'm looking forward to it.
Daniel: Yeah. Um, you know, I wanted to ask you something.
Daniel: I know your mom always wants people to think she's on top of everything. I hope she wasn't too upset about that awful Photoshop of her.
Abigail: Oh, uh... well, she was upset for a little while, but, uh, she's really brave, as you know.
Abigail: She's a lot tougher than you think. And the way that she handled those nasty comments on the hospital website--you know, they were gone in less than an hour.
Daniel: Hold on, whoa. Go back. What are you talking about? What--she was attacked on the website?
Abigail: Yeah. Yeah, I'm sorry. I thought you knew. Yeah, somebody put up this whole string of crazy comments talking about how she's useless and prejudiced and... you name it.
Daniel: Oh, my God.
Abigail: Yeah. But like I said, she--she handled it beautifully.
Jennifer: Oh, hey! Look at you. Somebody's ready to party.
Maxine: Honey, I just finished a double shift, and, uh, I'm ready to party. Time to unwind. Plus, I just can't tell you how happy I am that you two finally worked it out. I could pop.
Jennifer: [Laughs] You know what? Sometimes I think that you are our biggest cheerleader. Did I ever say thank you?
Maxine: You're welcome.
Jennifer: I wonder if we ever would've made it without you.
Maxine: Oh, please. The way you two feel about each other, of course.
Jennifer: Hey, Abe.
Jennifer: We're gonna see you tonight too, right?
Abe: Yeah, you will. I just finished my last interview, and, uh... don't have to file a report until tomorrow.
Jennifer: Good. Okay. Well, I'm gonna go, and I'll see you, and I'll see you too.
Maxine: Okay, so long, honey.
Maxine: So... you headed over to the party?
Abe: Yeah. You?
Maxine: Mm, wouldn't miss it. But I might be a little tardy. I loaned my car to one of my nurses, and she's certainly taking her sweet time.
Abe: Oh. Well, you know, if you'd like, I can give you a lift over and then bring you back here. It's no problem.
Maxine: Thanks. I may take you up on that.
Jennifer: And these go here like this. Oh, that looks nice. And these go here... like that. Okay. Oh, that looks nice. Wait. There we go. Let's put this here. Hi.
Daniel: Hi. This looks very nice.
Daniel: Maybe we should go again.
Jennifer: No, we can't do that because we're gonna be sorry if we don't keep busy.
Daniel: That's what I was trying to do is keep a little busy. This looks so amazing.
Jennifer: Thank you.
Daniel: I'm telling you. Look at this.
Jennifer: Oh! Did you order the pizza?
Daniel: Yeah, I did.
Jennifer: Okay, great.
Daniel: However, I got a little bone to pick with you. Why didn't you tell me somebody was posting all sorts of garbage on the hospital website about you?
Jennifer: Wait. How did you find out about that?
Daniel: Well, Abigail mentioned it when I dropped Parker off. I think she just assumed I already knew.
Jennifer: Yeah, it was nothing, really. I, uh, talked to the I.T. Guys, and they deleted it almost as soon as it went up, really.
Daniel: Yeah, yeah, but you should tell me about these things so I can do something--
Jennifer: Daniel, please, you just need to stop. I know that you love me, and I know that you tend to be a little bit overprotective. And we have already gone over this before. So let's... let's just really make this clear once and for all, okay?
Maggie: Theresa, wipe that smirk off your face. I'm only gonna say this once, so you listen. This is my home, and the people who are in here--I love these people, each and every one of them.
Theresa: Oh, you mean, like, the butler and the maids and the gardener?
Maggie: Shut up! You've done nothing but been destructive ever since you came to Salem, and you are not gonna start in on this family, because if you do--
Theresa: You know what? I'm sure you've heard an earful from your son and his cute little girlfriend, but jenny Horton isn't my problem anymore.
Maggie: [Chuckles] Well, actually I haven't heard that much about from Daniel or Jennifer... which is a credit to them, frankly, since you did everything you could think of to hurt their chance at a good life.
Theresa: I did?
Maggie: Yes. And you know damn well you did. You just--I don't know. You loathe Jennifer. So that little campaign of yours--it didn't work. And neither is this one.
Theresa: And which campaign is that?
Maggie: Getting your claws into Brady.
Nicole: All day, all I have wanted to do is spend time with you... relax, kick back... see that smile.
Eric: You know, I've thought about you a lot today too.
Eric: I almost, like, forced myself not to call you, but-- I know you were busy.
Nicole: What? I'm not that busy. You know, I almost wish we weren't going to Daniel's tonight, but I know we should. I know.
Eric: Absolutely. It's an important celebration. Uh, n-Nicole, your blouse--it's unbuttoned.
Nicole: Oh. Uh, I was... counting on you to help me.
Eric: Of course. Um, your--your bra-- it's unhooked.
Eric: I think I can... I can get it. [Chuckles]
Nicole: Thanks. [Chuckles]
Eric: Yeah. There... you go. [Sighs]
Nicole: Eric... all I want is for... oh, God! I'm so sorry!
Eric: Oh, no.
Nicole: Oh, my gosh!
Eric: No, it's okay.
Nicole: No, seriously, you know what? I think I can run some warm water on that and get it out. Let me just get this off before it stains and... mm.
Abigail: Dude, that's about the tenth time you tried PalPage in the last 30 minutes.
Parker: A monkey...
JJ: Nah, just three or four.
Abigail: What's going on?
JJ: Just hoping to hear from somebody.
JJ: I guess it's not gonna happen. Could I ask you a question? It's about this girl.
Abigail: Yeah, of course. Is it about Bev?
JJ: No. No. Um, it's a girl that I just met. I don't know really a whole lot about her.
Abigail: But you'd like to.
JJ: Definitely. Yeah, but... um, some things happened, and-- that weren't even really my fault. It's just now I can't get through to her.
Abigail: Well, why don't you skip PalPage and just talk to her?
JJ: Well, you see, we're kind of from different worlds, you know.
Abigail: Oh. Oh, JJ, then it's--it's not meant to be. Just--just drop the whole thing. Forget about it.
Jennifer: I can't thank you enough for the way that you protected JJ from Theresa and what you sacrificed to do that.
Daniel: I just--I knew--
Jennifer: No, just let me finish, okay? Promise?
Daniel: [Sighs] Okay.
Jennifer: But I... love you so much. And I am so glad that we are back together. But here's the thing. You really need to let me fight my own battles.
Daniel: Yeah, but if you don't let me help you--ahh.
Jennifer: No, no, you promised, you promised.
Jennifer: I know that we kept things from each other, and I never want that to happen again. But you need to promise me that you won't protect me from life, because I can take it. Seriously, I can. You are the best doctor, and you are such a great father. But sometimes you need to let people just handle their problems on their own, okay? Can you do that, please?
JJ: Okay, where did all this "drop her" stuff come from?
Abigail: Just some advice.
JJ: But you--you don't know anything about her, so how can--
Abigail: JJ, you just said that you guys are from totally different worlds. If you're already sensing that it isn't going to work, then you should just give up. I mean, if it seems impossible from the beginning, then it is.
JJ: No. I mean, come on, look at mom and Daniel. That seemed impossible.
Abigail: And look at them. Do you really want to put yourself through that kind of torture, JJ? Just play it safe and end it before--before it gets worse, before you make a mistake that you really regret. Do you understand?
JJ: Sure. Yeah, as clear as a bell.
JJ: But you're not talking about me. You're talking about you.
Daniel: Okay, yeah, I tend to be a little overly protective. Sure, I'll admit that.
Jennifer: Maybe... maybe more than a little.
Daniel: Okay, seriously? What, am I supposed to just stand by and watch you suffer? I can't. I--no.
Jennifer: Okay, well, unless I ask you for help, yeah, that'd be great.
Daniel: Well, uh, okay. If that's what you want, yeah.
Jennifer: Yeah, I want you to promise me. No, I want you to-- I want you to swear.
Daniel: Right. Okay, got it. All right, consider me sworn. From now on, I will stay back. Why, you might inquire? Well, I will tell you. Because you asked. And I can't say no when you ask.
Jennifer: Thank you.
Eric: Daniel's having a party.
Liam: Oh, good, good. Then she won't be sitting home stewing about this nonsense.
Liam: Hey, JJ. How it's going?
Liam: Good. I'm wondering if I can talk to your mom for a minute.
Abigail: Uh, hi, Liam. My mom's not here tonight.
Liam: Really? She isn't?
Theresa: You know, Maggie, I realize that you've sunk your teeth into the richest man in ten states, but that doesn't mean that everybody else is a gold digger too.
Maggie: Victor and I love each other.
Theresa: Oh, yeah, the love just oozes out of you, doesn't it? But here's the thing. Brady's fun to be with. We have fun. Fun's what it's all about.
Maggie: No, it's not. You're destroying him.
Theresa: Hmm, there's that love again.
Maggie: You remember that term "lower companion" from the A.A. Meetings? Of course, you didn't go to that many. It's someone who brings out the worst in a person who's struggling. You are Brady's lower companion.
Theresa: Thank you so much.
Maggie: You're dragging him down to your level. You're helping him wreck his life, just like you're out to wreck your own. And you know what? I'm not gonna stand by and watch you do it.
Theresa: Hi, Brady.
Nicole: Mm-hmm. Eric, I love you.
Eric: No. Nicole, we can't. We can't do this.
Nicole: Yes, you love me, and you want me.
Eric: I know... but we--we can't do this. We talked--
Nicole: Yes, we can. Yes, we can, because we love each other. And we should, and this is right.
Eric: Nicole, we talked about this, please.
Nicole: No, no, no, no, no. It is. It's right. It is, Eric.
Nicole: I love you. I love you.
Eric: Nicole, stop. We can't do this.
[Knock at door]
Jennifer: Oh, our party's about to start.
Daniel: No, it is about... all right, all right, okay!
Jennifer: Okay! Whoo!
Daniel: Do your thing.
Jennifer: Okay. Yes, I'm ready.
Daniel: You ready?
Hope: Hey! Party time!
Daniel: Ah, you made it! Come on in! How are you?
Hope: I know, I know. I couldn't let you down.
Jennifer: I can't believe you're here. This is so great. Oh, there's an opener over there on the bar. You'll find it over there.
Jennifer: Oh, my goodness! Amazing!
[Knock at door]
Hope: Hey, I'll get that.
Jennifer: That must be Nicole and Eric.
Hope: No problem.
Aiden: What are you doing here?
Hope: No, what are you doing here?
Brady: Theresa, listen, I'm sorry about tonight. This thing in Indonesia is gonna take a couple hours. So I could be on the phone for a long time. But, um... I would like a--I would like a rain check.
Theresa: Sure. Time to scoot.
Brady: All right.
Theresa: Oh. Hey, and, Maggie, you know, Brady and I--we've been hanging out a lot. So, off and on, I'm just gonna plain be here. But I'm pretty easy to get along with, seriously. So I do hope that you'll at least try.
Brady: [Sighs] We need to get something straight.
Maggie: No! We need to sit. And this time you are gonna listen to me.
Liam: I must've misunderstood when Jennifer said she'd be here. The thing is I think I left my phone charger last time I came by. Have you seen one lying around anywhere?
Abigail: Yeah, I don't...
JJ: What's going on there, buddy? Oh, yeah, I think I know what's going on. Okay, all right. Come on, this way.
Abigail: Why don't you come on in for a minute? You know, we have a junk drawer where we throw everything in the kitchen. So I can check there.
Liam: Thanks so much.
Abigail: Yeah, I'll be right back.
Liam: Uh, do you mind if I use your bathroom? I've been on the road since noon.
Abigail: Sure. Yeah, there's another one at the top of the stairs.
Aiden: I thought you weren't coming.
Hope: I thought you weren't coming.
Daniel: Aiden, hey, you made it, man.
Daniel: Thanks for coming. Uh, can I get you guys some wine? Uh, hope, I have white open. Maxine brought a nice red.
Hope: Uh, red. Thanks.
Aiden: Uh, yeah, diet soda would be great, thanks.
Daniel: There you go. Coming right up.
Jennifer: This is so wonderful. I am so glad that you could make it.
Aiden: Well, I doubt if I can stay long.
Jennifer: Oh, of course you can stay. Come on, it's a party. You can stay. Oh, and you know what I realized?
Jennifer: That you have kids the same age, so they probably go to St. Luke's together, right? Yeah?
Hope: Yeah, uh-huh.
Jennifer: Oh, they're probably in the same grade.
Hope: Well, actually, Ciara and, uh, Mr. Jennings's son, chase--they're in...
Hope: They're not friends at all, actually.
Daniel: All right. Okay. Well, how about that bake sale, huh?
Aiden: Mm, oh.
Daniel: Pretty big success. Made lots of money, right?
Jennifer: Oh, yes. I bet you were a good team.
Aiden: Well, not really.
Hope: No, there were some problems.
Jennifer: Oh, I think you're being modest. You know what? I think they're saying that 'cause they don't want to get picked to do it again next year.
Daniel: Mm-hmm, yep.
Aiden: Oh, no, we will never work together again. No. Nope. Ever. Clear?
Aiden: Mm. Mm, mm. [Chuckles]
Nicole: I don't understand. I really don't. Why not? Why not... do what feels so right?
Eric: Because of what we talked about. You never meant what you said, what you agreed to. Even for one day, you couldn't honor the teachings of what I said were important to me.
Nicole: Okay, this is crazy. Really? When two people love each other, I mean, th-- this isn't Victorian England. What we're doing--what you want to do isn't wrong.
Eric: Isn't it? According to what I believe? According to what I've taught other people to believe?
Nicole: You're not a priest anymore.
Eric: But I still follow the church's teachings. Oh, my God. This was a setup. Your unhooked bra, your unbuttoned blouse and th--and then accidentally spilling your wine on my shirt?
[Cell phone ringing]
Nicole: Oh, great. Now the paranoia sets in. This is all a setup. Get over yourself.
Eric: You need to stop being so selfish for once, okay? Our relationship, it cannot be a sexual--
Nicole: Oh, answer your damn phone already!
Daniel: Hey, hey. Uh, it's Daniel. Can you guys get here soon? Yeah, we really need you.
Eric: Yeah, we're on our way, Daniel.
Nicole: Yeah, we sure are.
JJ: What's going on?
Liam: Oh, sorry, bathroom break.
Abigail: Uh, Liam, you know, I didn't see your phone charger, so I guess you must've left it somewhere else.
Liam: Well, thanks for looking. I thought I'd at least give it a try.
Abigail: Yeah, sure.
Liam: Give your mom my best, will you?
Abigail: I will.
JJ: You know he went upstairs?
Abigail: Yeah, he asked to use the bathroom.
JJ: Kind of weird, though.
Abigail: No. God, it must be so humiliating for him coming here. Mom tells him that it's over, and then he thinks he leaves his phone charger here?
JJ: Yeah, but he actually looked glad that mom wasn't here.
Abigail: Well, no fun getting dumped.
JJ: So... is that what happened?
Abigail: Oh, forget it. Come on, Parker.
JJ: I don't want to forget it. You're my sister. Why can't I care if some guy walked away and broke your heart?
Jennifer: [Sighs happily] Oh!
Daniel: Wow. What's up with Aiden and hope? They act like they want to go a couple of rounds.
Jennifer: I do not know, but it's got to be something really bad.
Daniel: Yeah, I called Eric, told him to get a move on-- anything to break this ice.
[Knock at door]
Jennifer: Ooh, maybe that's them--great!
Daniel: I hope so. Hey! You made it!
Nicole: Got any wine open?
Daniel: Sure do!
Nicole: Great, here's a backup 'cause I'm drinking all yours first.
Jennifer: Hi, Nicole.
Jennifer: So glad you could come. Eric, so glad you could make it.
Eric: Thank you.
Jennifer: Hey, is that, um... on your shirt.
Eric: Yeah, a little wine from earlier.
Jennifer: Yeah, you know what? If you just give me that, I can get some soda water.
Nicole: Well, don't try to take it off because he'll accuse you of God only knows what. Hey, hope.
Hope: Hey, Nicole.
Nicole: Oh, look, someone I don't know. Hi. Hi. I'm Nicole.
Aiden: Aiden Jennings.
Nicole: Aiden. Pleasure. Wow. You look like you could use a drink almost as much as I do.
Aiden: [Chuckles] Well... [Clears throat]
Nicole: What? What? What'd I say? What?
Hope: Why don't you tell her, Mr. Jennings?
Hope: Mr. Jennings doesn't approve.
Nicole: Of me?
Hope: Of much of anything. Right?
Maggie: Please listen to me. There is no way I can get inside your head, but just know that you can't handle what's going on in there. That's why you're turning to the bottle. One day you have a little, the next day you pass out with a drink in your hand.
Brady: I can handle...
Maggie: Your booze? [Scoffs] It's making you irresponsible... at your job.
Maggie: You pick fights with everyone who loves you. And now you have decided to hook up with a woman who will... she will destroy your life.
Liam: [Sighs] We meet again.
Abigail: Just give it a rest, JJ, please. I didn't get my heart broken.
JJ: You could've fooled me.
Abigail: I do not want to keep talking about this, okay? I... I did something stupid with this guy, and... I'm really lucky because it could've ended up a lot worse than it did. It's over now, and I'm glad.
Abigail: Yes. I just want to forget that it ever happened. That's the only thing you can do when you know that something is over, is just forget about it a-and move on.
Maxine: How come every time I watch the cubs in spring training they lose?
Daniel: I know, right? That's...
Maxine: I'm just saying.
Eric: Don't you think you've had enough?
Nicole: Ooh, I don't think, remember? I'm all instinct. That's why I'm always wrong, right? Wrong, wrong, wrong!
Daniel: I wish I knew what was keeping those pizzas. Let me, uh...
Jennifer: Hey, I have an idea. While we're waiting, I think we should all play a game.
Nicole: Oh, please, dear God, no. What? I don't like games.
Eric: Strange. I thought that was your specialty.
Nicole: You know what I do like? That bottle of wine I brought. Hey, Abe, want to do the honors and get me another glass of wine?
Abe: I think I can handle that.
Nicole: Great. Thank you.
Nicole: Aiden, what about you? Sure you don't want to try a glass?
Aiden: No, I'm fine, thanks.
Eric: Nicole, seriously, you have had enough.
Nicole: You know, I don't know what it is. Maybe I should've read my horoscope or something. "Steer clear of men, because today they're all judgmental." Come on, people, this is a party. Let's have some fun!
Daniel: There you go! Now you're talking.
[Knock at door]
Jennifer: [Gasps] Pizza!
Daniel: Finally! Yes! You get that. I got this.
Rory: Mrs. Horton, hey! Didn't expect to see you here. Don't worry--we didn't put any pot in the pizzas. [Chuckles]
Theresa: You are stalking me.
Liam: No. I just saw you sitting here, thought you might like to hear some really juicy gossip about Jennifer Horton.
Liam: She apparently ticked some people off so bad, they flooded the website with these totally negative comments about her.
Liam: Then there was this Photoshopped picture of her. It showed a couple guys at a beach or wherever--her in this sexy bikini.
Theresa: Yeah, and it was slipped under everybody's door?
Liam: Oh, you knew.
Liam: So nothing to do with you. God, you know what? I am so sick and tired of everybody accusing me of crap that I didn't even think about, let alone do.
Liam: So--sorry. Really, I-I'm sorry. I... you know, it's not even my business. I just... I asked because... well, I mean, obviously Jennifer's not very high on my list. I thought if she wasn't high on your list--
Theresa: I had nothing to do with trashing her.
Liam: You know what? I feel like a louse. You're a nice person, and, uh--
Theresa: No, look, relax, okay? I get it. Sweet little jenny really has a way of pissing people off. But whoever did it... good for them.
Brady: I think you need to dial it down a bit, Maggie. You know, we both know that when it comes to women, I have had the worst of the worst, you know? But trust me, Theresa isn't-- Theresa's not--
Maggie: I can't trust you, Brady, not in the state that you're in.
Brady: The-- look, I'm fine. I'm fine. Theresa's a breath of fresh air. Number one, she doesn't judge me, Maggie. That's nice.
Brady: Something funny?
Maggie: Oh, honey... that girl is judging the size of your wallet and waiting for her chance.
Brady: Right, right, 'cause nobody could care about me, right? Just my money. I have nothing else to offer. Why would anybody be interested in my mind, my emotions, myself?
Maggie: Are you really interested in her mind... in her great depth of emotions? [Chuckles] Or is she just a distraction while you keep running away from your problems?
Brady: Mm. Maggie, uh... we're done.
Maggie: Good... 'cause I can't stand talking to a liar. And I won't stand around and watch you destroy yourself. I'm done.
[Cell phone ringing]
Theresa: [Sighs] No, he's just busy. He still wants me. And I'll still get him.
Daniel: What did you just say to Mrs. Horton?
Rory: Uh... just that I couldn't help that the pizzas got cold. I got really bogged down with deliveries.
Daniel: All right, keep the change.
Rory: Oh, thanks, dude.
Daniel: Get out of here.
Jennifer: I am so sorry. I know that I just gave you a whole lecture about being overprotective, but thank you for that. I love you.
Daniel: Love you too. All right, well, pizza's a little cold, but how about we have some more fun, right?
Aiden: Actually, I should probably...
Hope: I'm gonna get going.
Aiden: Get going anyway. I'm sorry.
Hope: I need to get home and do some work. Jenn, thank you.
Maxine: Oh, stop it, you two. The pizza didn't die. It just got cold. I'll heat it up. Stick around.
Abe: Let me help with that.
Nicole: Oh, you know what? Daniel, you really should try that wine. Oh! Oh, my gosh!
Nicole: I am so sorry.
Daniel: No, no, no, no. It's okay. It's okay.
Nicole: I am such a klutz.
Jennifer: No, no, you're not a klutz. Let me take that.
Nicole: Oh, my God.
Eric: You trying to get his shirt off too?
Nicole: Oh, my--that is totally uncalled for.
Daniel: Okay, seriously. Nicole, no big deal.
Nicole: You want to start? You want everyone to know all about our big fight, huh? Go. Go ahead, start. Go.
Daniel: Well, uh... could this night get any worse?
Liam: Soon... very soon.
