Episode #12288 ~ Hope gets devastating news about Bo; Jordan's decision confuses Rafe; Sami & Hope fight.

Provided By Suzanne

Sami: [Sighs] Wow! Hi.

Hope: Hello, Samantha.

Sami: Cupcakes, courtesy of Johnny and Allie.

Hope: Great, thank you.

Sami: Look, I know you are mad at me about the earrings...

Hope: Mad?

Sami: That I bought for Ciara.

Hope: No, I'm sorry, but why would I be mad at you for buying my little girl nearly $4,000 worth of jewelry?

Sami: I'm sorry. I didn't realize it would be this big an issue.

Hope: I mean, how could you not, Sami? You have children. Don't you want them to grow up to have values? I mean, for God's sake. Really? Has living the DiMera mansion with EJ and his father completely warped that mind of yours?

Sami: [Sighs]

Nick: I don't understand what you're saying.

EJ: You know exactly what I'm talking about, Nick. Your blatant pursuit of Gabi, under the circumstances, is unseemly, if not downright reprehensible.

Nick: I think you've got this all wrong, EJ. I'm just trying to do something nice. I owe this to Gabi after all the mistakes that I've made. There's no ulterior motive.

EJ: Right. No, of course, of course. And if this modeling job that you acquired for her by blackmail happens to endear you to her, bring you together, then...

Nick: We are being brought together. We're much closer now. Has nothing to do with any manipulation on my part.

EJ: No, of course not. But you will forgive my cynicism, Mr. Fallon. I mean, it's not as if you've ever manipulated Gabriella before.

Nick: I know that you don't like me, EJ. If you think about it, we're actually pretty similar.

EJ: You and I... are nothing alike.

Kate: Ortiz, it's me. Look, I have a lead on Jordan Ridgeway. [Stammers] Check to see if there's any connection with her to the Ozarks. I know it's a large area. You make a large paycheck, okay? So start earning it, and find me something on the woman.

Lucas: Wow. [Clears throat]

Kate: What?

Lucas: You just can't bear the fact that Rafe and Jordan are happy, can you?

Jordan: Rafe... I'm sorry, but... I'm leaving Salem for good.

Rafe: What? [Chuckles] I don't understand. Where are you going? Why?

Jordan: I got a really amazing job offer on the west coast, and they really need me right away. So...I hope you understand.

Rafe: Um, no. I don't. Not at all.

[Knock at door]

Brady: [Groans] [Grunts] [Sighs] Dad.

John: Is this a bad time?

Brady: No. Wait a minute. How the hell did you know I was here? You're the one that's been following me, right? What are you doing back in town? What the hell do you want?

Lucas: Honestly, mom, even if you manage to run Jordan Ridgeway out of town, what, you think Rafe's just gonna fall back into your arms, really?

Kate: No. No! I-- [Sighs] Lucas, of course not. I have told you before, I'm just trying to protect him. Jordan--or whatever the hell her name is--is hiding something. He deserves to know before he gets his heart broken all over again.

Jordan: Rafe, you know how important my career is to me.

Rafe: Yeah. Yeah, I do. But you have a career here. And you also have a really good job. You said you liked it a lot.

Jordan: It's true, it's just it's... it's different.

Rafe: Is it more money?

Jordan: [Sighs] It's not about the money. They really need me.

Rafe: I really need you.

Jordan: I really struggled about what to do, Rafe. This has been one of the hardest decisions of my life. And I care about you so much. But I realize that staying here wouldn't be right for either of us.

John: Oh, just wanted to talk, see how you're doing.

Brady: It's not a good time, dad.

Theresa: So... Brady, I hope you don't mind that I changed into something-- oh, my God! Who the hell is this?

Brady: It's--it's--it's--it's okay, it's my father.

John: I'm sorry. Didn't mean to interrupt. I'm john black. And you are?

Theresa: [Laughs] Theresa Donovan.

John: Shane and Kim's daughter?

Theresa: Yep.

John: Son of A...gun. I haven't seen you since you were a little girl.

Theresa: [Laughing]

John: I'm good friends with your folks.

Theresa: Super.

Brady: Ah, dad, you know what, you should go.

John: Not until I talk to you in private.

Brady: Mm-hmm. Outside. This won't take long, all right? [Sighs] Seriously...what are you doing here?

John: I'm worried about you, son. I want to help.

Brady: [Sighs] I do it every day.

Nick: I guess we'll have to agree to disagree on this one, EJ, because I think that we're a lot alike. You wanted Sami Brady. And with a lot of hard work and determination, you got her. Finally. I want a good life. I'm willing to do everything I can to get it... something I thought a lot about while I was in prison, and something I thought a lot about while I was recovering from being thrown in that freezing river by Kate Roberts and your fiancée.

EJ: So this life... that you've imagined for yourself, this idyllic existence that you fantasized about when you were in prison, and more recently, I imagine, since you've been recovering from your latest trauma... Gabriella Hernandez is a big part of that, isn't she?

Nick: [Sighs]

Sami: Okay, so I'm sorry if I went a little overboard. But, hope, you knew, right, that I was going to be buying ten pairs of earrings to make up for the one that Ciara had to give back to me.

Hope: Yes, I did. I did know that. That is true. But I thought you, her cousin, would have enough sense to get her something much more age-appropriate. She's not the princess of a small country, for God's sake.

Sami: Well, she was acting like it! I was planning to get her silver-plated earrings, or whatever. But she would have none of it. She insisted that we go to Baron's. I mean, she has very expensive taste, as it turns out.

Hope: Oh, well, gosh, I owe you an apology. I am so sorry. I guess I got the equation wrong, 'cause I could've sworn that you were the adult and Ciara was the child.

Sami: [Loudly] I was trying-- [Softer] I was trying to be nice. I mean, I was just trying to get her to cheer the hell up!

Hope: I understand that, but you do not cheer up a little girl by throwing nearly $4,000 worth of jewelry at her.

Sami: With any other little girl, I would agree with you. But obviously, that is the only way to cheer up miss Ciara Brady. I mean, it was the only thing I could do to wipe the scowl off her face.

Hope: My daughter does not scowl.

Sami: Well, she hasn't been smiling a lot lately, has she? And what is the big deal, hope? I mean, you grew up with lots of expensive things. Didn't your dad give you all sorts of bling when you were a kid?

Hope: Okay, stop, stop! Just stop right there, okay? Because that is completely irrelevant, because I'm not raising my daughter that way. Samantha, I am asking you. Please, if you're going to spend time with my daughter, then please respect the values that I, her mother, am so desperately trying to instill in her, okay?

Sami: Instead of riding me about this, hope, why don't you take a teensy bit of responsibility for your daughter's behavior? I mean, why don't you ask yourself why she was so greedy that she was dragging me to baron's in the first place? I should be grateful, you know? I mean, I could've ended up at tiffany's, for God's sake! I mean, you just--oh! Sorry! How about that? I mean, I would offer to cover it, but it would give her another reason to yell at me.

Aiden: Well, you seem to have a way with people.

Hope: [Sighs]

Rafe: I wish you would've talked to me before deciding. You know, I know we haven't been going out that long, but... it would've been really nice if you would've included me in this discussion, you know?

Jordan: There's nothing you could say to change my mind.

Rafe: Well, haven't you moved around a lot? Aren't you tired of it?

Jordan: Yes. You have no idea.

Rafe: So stay here. Hey...I'm here. I'm here, see? We're here? Someone else can take that job. You can stay here with me. Please? Please?

Brady: I suppose that means, uh, that you've spoken with grandfather.

John: A lot of people are concerned.

Brady: Mm. That's nice. I'm fine.

John: Fine?

Brady: Yeah.

John: Fine with, what, packing your face with coke again?

Brady: [Sighs] I had a slip, dad. I did, I had a small, brief slip. But I haven't touched it since new year's.

John: Yeah, but you've been drunk plenty though, right?

Brady: What? I don't have a drinking problem.

John: You spent the better part of yesterday going in and out of bars.

Brady: You been tailing me? You admit to me you been following me around Salem?

John: I've just been looking for the right time to try to approach you, but you've been either smashed or angry or both. Now I didn't call or email, 'cause you don't answer either one of those. So why don't you just... why don't you tell me right now, why are you avoiding me?

Brady: I think you know why, dad.

John: We both have issues because of what happened with Kristen.

Brady: There it is! There it is! That's why, that's why!

John: That's right.

Brady: That's why I haven't contacted you, that's why I haven't answered your messages, all right? I don't want to hear her name. She ripped up my life, dad, okay? And I know you're standing there, and all you wanna do is say, "Brady, I told you so."

Nick: If Gabi decides she wants to give our relationship another shot, I wouldn't object.

EJ: You're all heart.

Nick: You know, EJ, before everything went south, for a long time Gabi and I had a very happy life together.

EJ: Things went south, Nicholas, because you lied to her...over and over again.

Nick: Right. Which is why I've decided to be completely upfront about everything this time around.

EJ: [Laughing] Somehow I doubt that.

Nick: Really? [Scoffs] I want Gabi to be happy. That's it. Don't you think she deserves that after everything she's been through?

EJ: Oh, I think that, uh... given Gabriella's past actions, people have been remarkably forgiving.

Nick: Well, then I guess she's lucky that she has me in her corner 100%... because I can get whatever I want now that I'm in a position of power. And I think you know better than anyone what a great position that is to be in. Excuse me.

Hope: Well... they looked delicious.

Aiden: Chase and I were so proud of those cookies.

Hope: I'm gonna make a donation to cover the lost goods.

Aiden: No. No, no, no, no. You don't have to do that. If we don't make our goal, I will pay the difference.

Hope: Oh, that's awfully generous. Your law practice must be, uh, going pretty well.

Aiden: Well, I am fortunate to be able to pick and choose when I want to work. I like to make my own schedule so I can spend as much time as I want with my son.

Hope: You mentioned that your wife passed away. I'm terribly sorry. It must be very rough on chase.

Aiden: Well, yeah, of course it is. But, um, he's doing okay. More okay, now that certain kids have stopped bullying him at school, so...

Hope: Oh, my gosh. Seriously? And we were doing so well for, oh, what was that, 25 seconds?

Aiden: Oh, no, no, no, no. I'm just glad to see that Ciara is, well, you know--

Hope: What? What? What? What? Well, just say it! What, under control? Because her hapless mother has finally figured out how to parent her? Is that what you were gonna say, Mr. Jennings? I mean, is that what you're thinking?

Louis: Hi, you two. How's it going over here?

Kate: Look, I'm going to extreme measures because I care about the guy. I know that it's over. I'm the one who ended it, but it doesn't mean that I don't cherish the time that we were together. He's a genuinely good guy. He's--he's kind and he's considerate and he's trusting. And no man has ever treated me with so much respect.

Lucas: So why don't you return the favor and treat his relationship with the same respect?

Kate: Because I'm the one responsible for bringing Jordan into his life. I insisted that Kayla hire her, and if she ends up hurting him, it's on me.

Lucas: What if she doesn't hurt him? What if she doesn't hurt him and you're wrong about that? What then?

Kate: Okay, fine. If that's true, I'll just let it go. I'll make sure that Ortiz backs off. I mean, if there is a legitimate reason for the fake IDs, and her aversion to a certain mountain range, then I'll let it go and Jordan and Rafe can live happily ever after.

Lucas: Or you could just talk to Rafe. Or you could talk to Jordan, voice your concerns. You could do it in an honest way, mom.

Kate: Okay, honey, but either way, I'm gonna need proof. So...you know. I'll tell you what. If, uh... if any lead does come from this whole thing concerning the Ozarks, I'll just make sure that it doesn't go back to Sheryl... or you.

Lucas: I really hope you know what you're doing. I really do.

Jordan: Rafe, please don't do this.

Rafe: What do you want me to do? Should I just shake your hand? Say, "nice knowing you, good luck. Hey, have a nice trip"? "Jordan, see you..."

Jordan: I know this is sudden and you're hurt. And it's probably cold comfort, but I'm hurt too. Because I do care about you so much.

Rafe: So this hurts you too. You say you care about me. This doesn't make any sense. Why are you doing this?

Jordan: I know, deep down, that I have to take this opportunity. And if I don't, then I'm going to regret it. And not just for my sake, but for everyone's.

Rafe: Mm-hmm.

Jordan: You can't begin to imagine how sorry I am.

Rafe: [Scoffs] Yeah. Me too. [Sighs]

Brady: Come on, dad, let's hear it. I know you've been waiting to say this from day one. Just get it out. Just say, "Brady, you're an idiot for buying her story. Brady, Kristen was a liar. Brady, you deserved that humiliation on your wedding day in front of everybody that you love in this town." Just say it.

John: Son, when I found out what happened to you, the last thing I felt was vindicated. I wanted to reach out, I wanted to help. But you know what, I kept my distance because I didn't want to make matters worse. I thought you needed that time to try to heal. But you know, looking back, maybe I should've come sooner.

Brady: No! No! No! You shouldn't have come at all. I don't need you here as a reminder. I don't need your help.

John: Brady, stop.

Brady: Dad, I don't need your help. I want you to go back to Europe, I want you to stay there because I don't need you around me.

John: Come on, don't push me away, we're family!

Brady: Not anymore, Dad.

John: Son, come on, stop. [Whispers] Brady.

Brady: Sorry. Sorry about that whole thing.

Theresa: How'd it go with your father?

Brady: Ah, my father. He's just, uh--he's got this-- thanks. He's got this hero complex, you know? He always feels like he has to ride in and save the day or something.

Theresa: Well, what day is he trying to save, exactly?

Brady: It's--it's-- it's not important.

Theresa: I bet he's being all judge-y and superior though, right?

Brady: That about sums it up actually.

Theresa: Well, I sure can relate. You know, one of the pluses of living here is not having to deal with my parents on a daily basis.

Brady: You still have some time before you have to go to work?

Theresa: Mm-hmm.

Brady: You wanna get outta here, go somewhere?

Theresa: I'm in.

Brady: Okay.

Hope: Everything's going great, father Louis. Isn't it, Mr. Jennings?

Aiden: Mm.

Hope: Snack break is in a few minutes for the kids. Excuse me.

Louis: All right, right on schedule then. Good luck, you two.

Aiden: Yeah. [Chuckles] Mm. So, uh, we should put price tags on everything.

Hope: $4. Everything's gonna be $4.

Aiden: Everything?

Hope: Yeah. Just makes it easier. I've decided.

Aiden: Do you realize we have whole cakes over there? Are you gonna sell those for $4?

Hope: Would you trust me? I've done this before. It's much simpler this way. Besides, I know from past experience that some parents will be offended if their items don't go out at the same price as others.

[Phone vibrating]

Hope: Oh! Excuse me. Wow.

Aiden: What?

Hope: An old friend of mine is in town, says it's urgent we meet. [Sighs] Do you think maybe you could handle it on your own without me? Just for a little bit.

Aiden: [Groans] Sure. No problem.

Hope: Great. I won't be long, I promise. $4. Everything!

Aiden: Everything.

Hope: Including the cakes.

Aiden: Okay. All right. [Sighs]

Ben: I was on my way to my new job. Got your message. I knew you'd come around.

Jordan: The only reason I called was to let you know that I'm leaving Salem. Tomorrow.

[Footsteps, chatter]

Sami: Hi, Brady.

Brady: Hey! Hi, Sami.

Sami: I didn't know you two knew each other.

Theresa: We met in AA.

Brady: Mm-hmm.

Sami: Oh! Oh, right. Huh.

Theresa: So how are the kids, cousin? And when do I get a playdate with them?

Sami: Soon. Soon. Um, hey, Brady, can I speak to you alone?

Theresa: Alone? Why?

Sami: Because what I have to say to him is private.

Theresa: Okay, well, that hurts my feelings a little bit.

Brady: Don't be hurt. It's okay. Why don't you--why don't you go check out those movie times that we were talking about?

Theresa: Sure. I can do that, no problem later, cuz.

Sami: Ha, later. What are you doing?

Brady: What do you mean?

Sami: Look, I love my cousin and everything, but she is trouble with a capital "T." And after what you went through with Kristen--

Brady: Okay, stop, stop. Stop! Don't go there. I don't wanna be lectured by yet another well-meaning relative. I had enough of that crap this morning from my dad.

Hope: John! Oh, my gosh! I am so happy to see you! Oh, my God, I had no idea you were back in town. God, you look great.

John: So do you. Yeah, I just got back.

Hope: Have you seen Marlena?

John: No. No. And I would appreciate if you didn't say anything. So far, I've only had time to see Brady.

Hope: How did that go?

John: Not good.

Hope: Oh, I'm sorry. Maggie told me Brady was having a hard time.

John: Yeah.

Hope: I'm sure he'll come around in time. Hey, don't get discouraged.

John: Yeah, right, right. Look, hope, um... I wanted to see you because there is another reason why I'm back in Salem.

Hope: Yeah? What would that be?

John: I've got a message... from Bo.

Kate: You look like your day is going as well as mine.

EJ: Oh! I just ran into our friend Nicholas Fallon.

Kate: And?

EJ: He's a loose cannon, Kate.

Kate: [Gasps] No! Really?

EJ: I think it's extremely important that you make sure you don't say anything provocative to this guy.

Kate: [Sighs] EJ, I would rather say nothing at all to this man. But unfortunately, he and his odd-duck assistant work for me, and I am forced to interact with them. Besides, I've worked with worse.

EJ: Oh, okay, you mean-- you mean me and my father.

Kate: No comment.

EJ: Kate, do not underestimate Nicholas Fallon. He will make working with me and my father seem like a walk in the park.

Lucas: I'll be going out of town soon, so I just wanted to meet with you and discuss your project proposals before I leave.

Nick: Fire away.

Lucas: All right. Um, the lipstick prototype. Very nice. We like it a lot. We're excited about it.

Nick: Great.

Lucas: But, uh... we're gonna have to do a little research on a non-organic compound to bring the price down a little.

Nick: That's unacceptable.

Lucas: It's gonna make the product affordable, Nick.

Nick: It's not a priority, Lucas.

Lucas: Money's not a priority, really?

Nick: What is a priority is making the product 100% organic. It's my formula, my proposal, and the specifics can't be altered.

Lucas: I think what you fail to realize is that I have final say here.

Nick: Correct me if I'm wrong, Lucas, but your mother is the CEO, so I think she has the final say. And I think if you check in with her, she'll be on my side about this.

Ben: Wow. You are that determined to get away from me?

Jordan: That's the way things have to be. Don't you understand that by now? Things can't go back to the way they were.

Ben: Right! Because of him!

Jordan: There's no use going over it again.

Ben: It wasn't supposed to be this way!

[Excited chatter]

Aiden: All right, all right. Boy and girls! Boys and girls! I need one line, one line. Please don't touch anything yet. Don't touch any--no, no. One line. We're gonna get one right over here. Right o--fellas? Uh, fell--thank you. Thank you, thank you so much. Okay, this is what I'm talking about. This is a very nice line.

Ciara: Why is it taking so long? I'm starving.

Louis: Mr. Jennings, do you need some help?

Aiden: Oh, uh, no, no, no, father. [Stammers] I got this. This is great. Yep. Okay, okay. Ah, let's see. Um... open for business! Okay.

I want that one.

Aiden: Which one?

Brady: [Grunts]

Sami: So that's why you're in a foul mood, 'cause your dad called? Hey, hey! What did he say? What did he say?

Brady: What did he say? He's always got something to say, Sami, especially when it comes to how I should run my life, all right?

Sami: Well, because he cares about you.

Brady: Right.

Sami: And so do I. And I'm sorry that I overreacted about you and Theresa. But you know, you and Eric both involved with the wrong woman at the same time, it just, you know, makes me crazy.

Brady: Mm-hmm.

Sami: You heard, right, about Nicole sticking her talons into Eric again.

Brady: Yes, I know all about that, Sami.

Sami: Well? What are we gonna do? We have to nip it in the bud. You could help me. We could come up with something together.

Brady: Stop, stop, stop. I'm not helping you, no way. If Nicole is gonna break Eric's heart--which she probably will-- I basically don't give a damn.

Hope: You saw Bo in Europe?

John: Once, briefly.

Hope: How'd he seem to you?

John: Lonely for his family, obviously.

Hope: Obviously not. Can't be that lonely, john.

John: He's undercover, hope. It's big, you know that.

Hope: Right, big, yeah. I know.

John: Look, it all started out being directed at the DiMeras, but then it kinda spun into a whole different case. And now it involves an even larger international crime syndicate.

Hope: So now it's even more dangerous?

John: More dangerous.

Hope: Oh, God.

John: No, it's all right. He's gonna be fine. He's more worried about you and the kids. But hope, this case... it's gonna take a year or longer.

Hope: A year? Another year? But Bo's been gone for so long, and now he's going even deeper? We almost never hear from him as it is.

John: I know. That's why he wanted me to come to you. Until this case is resolved, you're probably not gonna hear from him at all. And just so you know... when and if you do receive an email, it's probably not gonna be from him.

Hope: How am I even going to know if he's alive? Or dead?

John: Well, you won't.

Wonder if we tried a new thing

Ben: I didn't come here to ruin your life. I came here because--

Jordan: I know why you came. But don't worry about it. It's probably better that it ended up this way. I was actually letting myself believe that I could have a life here, but... I was just fooling myself. I probably would've ended up hurting someone even more if I stayed. So this is the way that it has to be... and it's my fault for letting myself think that it could be otherwise. It is true. I am the happiest I've ever been in my whole life.

Rafe: This doesn't make any sense.

Sami: What are you talking about? Eric is your brother. Stepbrother, okay? Of course you care about him. You're still mad about what happened with Kristen? About the video? You know that that wasn't his fault, right? Not on any level. That was all Kristen. You're gonna let that witch, who lied to you ten ways from Sunday, come between you and your brother?

Brady: Sami! I don't wanna talk about it any more, okay?

Sami: Fine.

Brady: Thank you.

Sami: I--just-- just don't forget what I said, okay?

Brady: I won't.

Aiden: All right, here you go, Ciara.

Ciara: I asked for one with strawberry frosting.

Aiden: You said vanilla.

Ciara: I would never ask for vanilla.

Aiden: There you go.

Ciara: Hope you're a better lawyer than you are a salesman.

Aiden: Ooh.

Louis: [Chuckles] Tough crowd?

Aiden: [Sighs] Barbarians.

Louis: Ah.

Aiden: No, it would've been a little easier if hope hadn't ditched me.

Louis: Oh, I'm sure she had a good reason. Hope's a lovely, lovely person. Truly, truly kindhearted. You'll see that in time.

Aiden: That-- that's...$4.

John: I'm sorry I'm the one that has to bring you this kind of news. I know it's not easy to take in.

Hope: How am I gonna tell Ciara? She misses her daddy so much. My God. If something happens to him, john...

John: Well, you know what, I think you need to hang on to the fact that Bo feels very confident about this case, because he does. He wanted me to give this to you. Now, I'm gonna give you some time to read this in private. But when you're finished with it... you know the drill. You gotta destroy it.

Hope: [Sighs] Yeah. I understand.

John: You call if you need anything.

Hope: [Crying] "Dear fancy face... I know you must be pretty upset right now..." [Chuckles] "But please try to understand I have no choice. I have to see this to the end." No, Brady, there is... there is always a choice. "I am so sorry to put you, Shawn-Douglas, and Ciara through this. I miss you all terribly, and I'll be thinking of you every second of every day until I return. I love you and the kids more than anything in this world. And I promise I will do everything in my power to come back to you as soon as possible. Love you, Bo."

Jordan: Sorry, Arthur. I know you thought of this place as home. I did too.

Kate: Rafe.

Rafe: Oh, hi.

Kate: Hi. Um, actually I'm glad that I ran into you. I thought we should talk about Jordan.

Nick: If you have any other questions or concerns about my product proposals... ask your mom about it.

Lucas: What the hell is your deal? Who the hell you think you are anyway?

Nick: Your mother's most valued employee.

EJ: Why are you so cheerful?

Sami: [Sighs] What is wrong with people, EJ? Seriously, I mean, they have to be so stubborn and... judgmental and downright irritating.

EJ: [Groans] Let me guess.

Sami: [Stammers]

EJ: Hope?

Sami: And Brady too.

EJ: Mm. Well, I, uh... I don't mean to make your day worse, but I ran into Nicholas Fallon earlier.

Sami: And?

EJ: I dare say he may be more trouble than even you and I bargained for.

Sami: [Sighs]

Theresa: Hey, I didn't see a movie I wanted to see at the theater, so...

Brady: Oh. Hey!

Theresa: I found a better way to pass the time.

Brady: Yeah. Perfect. Thank you.

Theresa: So what did Sami have to say?

Brady: Mm. Nothing important. And if we're lucky, that's the last family member we're gonna see all week.

Theresa: [Groans] Well, to family. Who needs 'em?

Brady: Who needs 'em? Cheers.

Aiden: So much for being right back.

Hope: Sorry, uh... couldn't be helped.

Aiden: Well, you just missed the rush.

Hope: Well, obviously you handled it well.

Aiden: Well, I did my best. Hey, I have to make a phone call. You gonna be all right for a while?

Hope: Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm fine.

Aiden: Okay.

Hope: Damn you! Damn you! [Sighs]
