Theresa: [Sighs] What I wouldn't do for a few hours with this baby.
[Door opens, slams]
Brady: Ah, hi.
Theresa: You're looking, uh, almost human.
Brady: Thank you. I think.
Theresa: Yeah. How are you feeling?
Brady: Um, better. Shower helped. I am sorry I passed out on you last night. I am embarrassed about that.
Theresa: No, you know, we've all been there.
Theresa: And, you know, despite our unpleasant run-in with my cousin and Nicole last night, I-I had a great time.
Brady: Yeah, yeah, sure you did.
Theresa: No, I mean it. I mean, it was a lot of fun getting to know you.
Tad: Is it stale?
Abigail: No, uh, it's not. I just, um, I'm not sure that anything would taste good to me this morning, so maybe just a coffee.
Tad: Okay, got it.
Abigail: Thank you. It's hard for me to accept that, but I know... that it's over. Because it has to be.
Tad: Here you go.
Abigail: Thank y--oh, my!
Abigail: I am so sorry.
Tad: No big deal.
Abigail: Oh, that was so stupid of me.
Tad: I'll just get some towels, just--
Abigail: Can't believe that. What? Just what?
EJ: Huh. "Arrest was made in an ongoing case of stalking by newly returned Salem P.D. Detective Rafael Hernandez, who had been on extended medical leave."
Sami: Allie and Sydney are off to school.
EJ: Where's Johnny?
Sami: He has the field trip today.
EJ: Oh, right, of course.
Sami: Yeah, so I will drop him off later, and then, unfortunately, I have to take the cupcakes that he and Allie made to hope for the bake sale.
EJ: Mm. Why "unfortunately"?
Sami: Well, she left me a voicemail. She doesn't sound very happy with me.
Sami: The earrings that I bought Ciara.
EJ: You'll smooth that out.
Sami: Oh, right, like I smoothed things over with Nick Fallon? I have a real talent for that.
EJ: Speaking of which, have we heard anything from our nemesis lately?
Sami: Yeah. Last night.
EJ: Last night? Why didn't you tell me?
Sami: I wanted you to be able to sleep.
EJ: What did he say?
Sami: He threatened me, EJ. He threatened us.
[Cell phone vibrates]
Kate: Well, don't you look happy?
Kate: Which can only mean one thing-- you're up to no good.
Rafe: Gabi. Hey.
Gabi: Oh, hey.
Rafe: What a nice surprise. Mind if I sit?
Gabi: Uh, sure, yeah, sit. Um, are you meeting Jordan here?
Rafe: [Scoffs] No.
Gabi: Oh. Okay. Um, something up, Rafe?
Rafe: Yeah. I just don't know what it is. Everything between Jordan and me has done a complete 180.
Jordan: I told you not to come.
Kate: So... what evil plot are you cooking up now, Nick?
Nick: Oh, the only evil plot I'm cooking up at the moment, Kate, is making your company boatloads of money.
Nick: I assume Percy has given you the, uh, the, uh, project proposals?
Kate: He did.
Kate: And they're--
Nick: Amazing? Is that the word you're looking for--amazing?
Kate: Um, I was going to say that you did a good job.
Nick: Of course, I did. Which is why you will never, ever regret hiring me.
Kate: You mean being forced to hire you.
Nick: And Percy has been amazing as my assistant. I've gotta tell you, he has been a great help.
Kate: Mm, in so many ways.
Nick: Look, Kate, I'd love to keep chatting, but I've got to go. So many things to do, never enough time. You know what I'm saying?
Kate: Ha. [Whispers] Bastard.
Gabi: Okay, so she just cancelled her plans and--and without any explanation?
Rafe: Yeah. Well, she said she was busy. She had to work.
Gabi: But you don't believe her.
Rafe: Well, it was the way she said it.
Gabi: Okay, so maybe you should just go. You know, go and tell her what you feel, that you're feeling confused or hurt or whatever.
Rafe: You don't think I should give her space? 'Cause in the beginning, things were moving pretty slow, but lately, they've been moving pretty fast.
Gabi: Okay, so yeah, maybe that's it. Maybe she's just feeling, um, pressured, so you should go talk to her and, you know, tell her how you feel. Maybe it's too much, too soon.
Nick: Hey. Uh, how's it going?
EJ: Did he, now? And how exactly did Nick threaten you?
Sami: He made it clear that we needed to offer Gabi a modeling job at countess Wilhelmina, or he was going to-- basically, he implied that he could reveal our entire summer line to Kate.
EJ: How did Nick get his hands on our summer line, Samantha? That is privileged information.
Sami: He's like an idiot savant, EJ. I mean, he probably hacked into our database. Look, Nick is totally smart and devious. Sort of wish he was working for us. You know--huh.
Sami: Wait, wait. We could make that happen. I mean, he would sell Kate down the river in a heartbeat if--
EJ: Samantha! You cannot be serious. No! No. No. No, I'm not working with that blackmailing bastard.
Sami: Fine, fine. Okay. I was just being stupid. You're right, I get it. But what do you think about hiring Gabi?
EJ: [Sighs] It's not a bad idea, aside from the fact that it's Nick's.
EJ: Look, if you think it will get that jerk to go away, then--then I'm fine with it.
Sami: Well, I will call Gabi and make the offer today, but I have to say, he sure as hell is not going away from Gabi anytime soon. He is totally worming his way back into her life.
EJ: Well, then we will just have to do something to stop him, won't we?
Abigail: I'm fine, okay? Honestly, I just--
Tad: Okay, I'll get you another cup on the house.
Abigail: Great. I'm gonna go clean off my dress now.
Ben: So I'm hired? I'm assuming that's why you called me.
Tad: It is. Sonny said you got the job.
Ben: Wow, uh, great.
Ben: That's--that's great.
Tad: Sonny's not here today, but I got your paperwork, so I can put you in the system, and then you too can be a part of this glamorous world of food service. Here, can you help me out? Clean those chairs for me.
Ben: Oh, uh, yeah, sure.
Tad: Thank you.
Kate: [Clears throat] So. You have a chance to look over Nick's proposals? Is that a yes? Lucas?
Lucas: Yes, mom. Yes. I've looked over Nick's proposals. They're all great, and they're all gonna make us tons of money. So what? I still can't stand the guy. Plus Sheryl's on her way. She'll be here any minute. I asked her to meet us.
Lucas: Because she's got some great ideas on how to sell that little sociopath's proposals.
Kate: You're more and more impressed with that girl, aren't you?
Lucas: Yes, I am. She's a real asset to the company. And, as an added bonus, she's probably the one decent thing that's come out of your nutty, failed plot against Jordan Ridgeway.
Kate: Okay, it wasn't a plot. And I haven't failed.
Nick: Well, it's--it's great to see you with--without your cane, Rafe. That must be a big relief, walking--walking on your own.
Rafe: I'm 100%.
Nick: You look it.
Rafe: Yeah, yeah, so you might want to think twice about arguing with me again about Gabi.
Nick: I'm sorry?
Rafe: Do I have to remind you again to stay the hell away from my sister?
Gabi: Okay, can you stop? Because I can speak for myself.
Nick: Wow, I-I--honestly, I so did not want to make trouble. I just--I came to say hello. So thanks.
Gabi: Why do you have to be so rude?
Rafe: Because I don't trust him, and I sure as hell don't understand why you do.
Gabi: Oh, well, I will tell you why--because maybe he's changed. Have you thought about that?
Rafe: Oh, please, do not tell me you're stupid enough to believe that, please.
Gabi: Yeah. Great. Now my brother thinks I'm stupid.
Rafe: Oh, come on, would you stop? I'm frustrated, okay? And I'm worried about you. And that guy? No. No.
Gabi: You know what? I have to go.
Rafe: Gabi. G-- hey. I meant what I said. You stay the hell away from my sister.
Sami: So not only do we have to figure out how to stop Nick from brainwashing Gabi. Now we have to deal with the fact that he's gonna be blackmailing us till the end of time.
EJ: Well, I mean, I think his request to hire Gabi is a fairly innocuous one.
Sami: Ha. He's just getting warmed up, EJ. I mean, come on, seriously. You think that the next requests the guy makes aren't going to be less and less innocuous and more and more of the "you are totally screwed" variety?
EJ: Okay, Samantha, please.
Sami: Don't tell me to calm down, okay? Because that ship has sailed, all right? I mean, seriously, that twerp is not gonna dictate to me how I live the rest of my life. No way, no how.
EJ: May I, uh, may I speak, please?
Sami: As long as you don't tell me to calm down.
EJ: Wouldn't dream of it. You need to learn to control this anxiety of yours...
EJ: Because if you act out on this, Samantha, you're going to provoke him. And that is a very dangerous thing to do, and it could be potentially catastrophic. It's important that we don't rock this boat, especially as it has a not insubstantial leak in it. You understand what I mean?
Sami: No. I don't. I mean, you already said that the boat has a leak in it, right? So what's the point of being passive or non-aggressive or whatever you're suggesting? You think this is gonna end here? It's not. Nick is never gonna be satisfied. He's gonna keep using what he has against us, which is plenty, to get more and more.
EJ: Not necessarily.
Sami: What? Of course necessarily.
EJ: We cannot be certain of what Nick is going to do. Most people...
EJ: In Nick's situation would try and bleed us dry, but Nick is not most people, Samantha. So we just have to let him feel like he's in control.
Sami: [Gasping] Oh! No! I hate that idea. I hate--
EJ: I know you do, darling. But you're just going to have to learn to live with it. Okay?
EJ: If Nick does anything, if he gets out of hand, I'll take care of it. All right?
EJ: I... will take care of it. Okay? Let's just hope that everything ends very pleasantly.
Sami: Oh, my--that creep is not gonna just--
EJ: Please just trust me.
Sami: I really think that we should talk about what we're gonna--
Brady: All right, thank you. Hmm.
Theresa: Hey. Anything interesting?
Brady: No. Thank you. No, just--just work messages, and my 9:00 A.M. Meeting was cancelled, so... want to get some breakfast?
Theresa: Sure. I can go into work a little late.
Brady: It's a date. Let's go.
Brady: [Grunts] After you. Ah, wait one sec. Just a, uh, little hair of the dog. You okay if I have this?
Theresa: Yeah. And, you know, actually...
Theresa: I have something that works way better.
Brady: Oh, yeah?
Theresa: In case you thought I wasn't paying attention in A.A., I know it's your favorite. Just say please.
Theresa: It's good stuff. And I'm happy to share.
Brady: No. It's not a good idea. All right?
Theresa: Sorry, just wanted to help you level off, since you just had a shot. I didn't mean to upset you.
Brady: No, you d--you didn't. You didn't. It's just, uh, I love some booze once in a while, but the coke, I, uh, I can't fall back into that. So if we're gonna hang out, I can't be near that, Theresa.
Brady: Thank you.
Theresa: It's totally cool. I mean, I get it, you know. It's just that-- [Sighs] I don't know. You know, the crazy thing is I don't really even like coke. I just had this left over from who knows when, but...
Theresa: It's gone. It won't happen again.
Brady: You can't--okay, th-- thank you. But I didn't--I didn't mean for you to throw money down the drain, you know.
Theresa: No, it's--
Brady: I hope you didn't pay too much for that.
Theresa: It's fine. And I'm sure you'll make it up to me sometime. Let's go.
Jordan: Good-bye, Jordan Ridgeway. It was nice while it lasted. [Sighs]
Tad: All right, great. I'll check with Sonny, and, uh, I'll get back to you about your hours.
Ben: Uh, as many as possible would be great.
Tad: Cool. I'll let the boss know. Thanks.
Tad: Here you go. Are you really okay?
Abigail: Yeah. Yeah, well, except for the fact that my dress is now ruined.
Tad: I'm so sorry.
Abigail: I'm gonna go home and change before work. No, it's fine. It's not your fault. I'm the klutz that spilled. Thanks. Oh, is that lid on tightly?
Tad: With cement.
Abigail: Great. Thanks.
Sami: All right, I wrote Gabi and told her I'm gonna come by. Thank you, Mr. DiMera...
Sami: For talking me off the ledge about Nick.
EJ: Mm. Anytime. I have to run, darling.
EJ: Early meeting.
EJ: Ah, hello! Have a good day at school. Okay?
EJ: And be nice to your mother.
Sami: [Laughs] Okay, so we gotta get you and the cupcakes, and we gotta hit the road. Oh, and we have got to get this back to Abigail. You know that belonged to her great-grandmother.
Johnny: I know, she told me. Mommy, when can she come over again?
Sami: Oh. Gosh, well, I don't know. But we'll invite her, huh?
Johnny: Rafe too?
Johnny: Abigail likes him. A lot.
Sami: How do you know that?
Johnny: 'Cause she and daddy were talking about him.
Gabi: Oh, what does Sami want?
[Cheerful knock at door]
Gabi: That was fast.
Nick: Yeah. You sure it's okay for us to meet here?
Gabi: Yeah, will and Sonny are at the community center with Ari for some activity class. They'll be a couple hours.
Nick: Oh, cool.
Gabi: Come in, come in.
Nick: Okay. Hey.
Gabi: Hey, um...
Gabi: Look, I'm sorry about the way Rafe was acting at the pub.
Nick: Oh, no, not at all. He was--he was worried about you. I totally get it. He's just feeling protective.
Gabi: You know, I should've told him I was meeting you. I just chickened out.
Nick: No, it's just--it's just as well, honestly. The last thing I want is for you guys to be fighting about me.
Gabi: Thank you for understanding.
Nick: Of course.
Gabi: Okay, so you wanted to talk to me. You said yesterday that--
Nick: Yeah, I have news. I have news. Um, it involves Sami.
Gabi: That's weird. She just texted me. She said she wants to talk to me and that she's coming over.
Nick: Yeah, I'm pretty sure I know why. Um, uh, I just want everything out on the table this time around.
Brady: Thanks. Thanks, T. Here you go, man.
Theresa: No, wait, here, let me help with it.
Brady: No, no, no, no, no. I think--I think can afford breakfast. Pretty sure. [Clears throat]
Theresa: Well, it must be nice with all those fancy cards, private jets.
Brady: Mm. It's great.
Brady: It's no big deal.
Theresa: You know, when I was growing up, I grew up with all of these kids in L.A. That had everything, and they used to look down at me. The--we weren't poor or anything, but gosh, I wish they could see me now, rubbing elbows with a guy who's worth probably more than all of them put together.
Brady: Is that why you're hanging out with me, Theresa? You like my money?
Kate: Oh, come on. Stop it. Don't make that noise. It's unbecoming.
Lucas: I'll tell you what's unbecoming, is your witch hunt against Jordan Ridgeway.
Kate: Lucas, if she isn't hiding anything, it's no harm, no foul.
Lucas: While you ruin her reputation.
Kate: What I'm trying to do is protect Rafe.
Lucas: You're protecting Rafe from the woman he loves?
Kate: Oh, g--please! They've been dating for five minutes. You have to be kidding me.
Lucas: What are you talking about? I've been out with them. I've seen them together. I've seen the way he looks at her. I see the way he talks about her when she's not around. Trust me, he loves her. I know the signs.
Lucas: Sheryl. Sheryl, come on.
Sheryl: Just one sec.
Kate: Uh, so do I.
Lucas: So do you what?
Kate: Uh, know the signs.
Lucas: What are you talking about, mom?
Kate: You. Sheryl. You're falling for her.
Kate: Oh, my God.
Jordan: What are you doing here? You can't just show up at my work like this.
Ben: Chill out. Nobody saw us.
Jordan: What do you want?
Ben: I got a job. In Salem.
Jordan: Good for you. Not so coincidentally, I'm about to quit mine.
Ben: What are you talking about?
Jordan: It's simple. You're here. You want to stay. So I have to leave.
Rafe: Uh-huh. Oh. Hey, well, I got it. I'll go do a prelim interview with the suspect right now, then. Mm-hmm. Well, thanks. It feels good to be back on the team. All right.
EJ: I hear you're becoming a productive member of society again.
Rafe: Oh, Elvis. Didn't know you cared.
EJ: I don't.
EJ: Maybe now you can go and focus on your own life, instead of worrying about mine.
Sami: Thank you for letting Johnny borrow this.
Abigail: Oh, yeah, it wasn't a problem. Thanks for returning it.
Abigail: You know, I'm actually just on my way to work now, so--
Sami: Could I come in for a minute, actually? There's something I wanted to ask you about.
Abigail: Okay, sure.
Sami: [Clears throat] So I was talking to Johnny this morning before we left for school about the day that you came over to bake cupcakes with him.
Sami: And he said something that confused me a little.
Abigail: Really? What did he say?
Sami: Well, he said he had overheard you talking to EJ, and I thought maybe you could explain what he told me.
Theresa: I've never hidden the fact that I love money, Brady. So yeah, your glamorous lifestyle intrigues me. But that's not the reason that I like hanging out with you.
Brady: Why do you?
Theresa: Well, despite the fact that when I first met you, I thought you were an incredibly boring specimen of eye candy...
Brady: Ooh, oh.
Theresa: You turned out to be pretty kind and fun and kind of charming. And like I said, I'm not immune to eye candy, so--
Brady: So it's--it's not my money you're after. It's just my body. That's what you're saying.
Theresa: Well, you know what? If you hadn't passed out on me last night, then you'd know for sure why I find you so appealing. And trust me. It has nothing to do with the size of your wallet.
Brady: When do you have to be at work?
Gabi: Okay, so you just suggested me to Sami? W--
Nick: Well, no, I did more than suggest you. I told her that you'd be the perfect face for the new countess Wilhelmina summer-- summer campaign.
Gabi: I haven't modeled since before I got pregnant.
Nick: Gabi, so what? You're, like, you're more beautiful than ever now. Anyway, I don't know. Think about it.
Gabi: I will. Thanks.
Nick: Just, um, don't say anything to Kate, because I shouldn't be helping the competition.
Gabi: Oh. Okay, scout's honor.
Nick: All right, thanks. All right. Um, I'll--I'll let you get to it. Let me know how it goes with-- with Sami, and, uh, good luck. I'll talk to you soon.
Gabi: Uh, Nick, wait. Why are you helping me this way, I mean, after everything I did?
Nick: After everything I did, it's the least I can do. I just--I just want you to be happy.
Ben: You can't leave Salem. You're the whole reason I moved here. I wanted to be with you.
Jordan: And I told you it was a bad idea. I begged you not to come.
Ben: You didn't really think I was gonna stay away just because you--
Jordan: You know why I wanted you to stay away, and you know why I have to leave.
Ben: 'Cause of that guy I saw you with?
Jordan: No, because of you. You know we can't be here together. I have explained it to you so many times.
Ben: I know, and I'm sick of hearing about it, okay? So you wanna run away? Fine. Go ahead. Good luck with that.
Rafe: Hmm. Is this little hissy fit about my conversation with your fiancée? Which was initiated by her, by the way.
EJ: I find it stretching the bounds of credulity that Samantha was asking you for advice about her love life.
Rafe: Mm. Yeah. Well, the thing is, I still care about her, and so I figured that she should know--which I suspect she already does--that it's really only a matter of time before I arrest her soon-to-be groom and his father.
EJ: Oh, I would imagine, given how successful the Salem police department has always been in that arena.
Rafe: Yeah, well, that was then. This is now.
Abigail: Have you spoken to EJ about this?
Sami: I figured it would be better to hear the story straight from you first.
Abigail: The story?
Sami: I have to be honest. I was pretty surprised to hear about your little crush. I had no idea.
Abigail: Sami, I--
Sami: Since when did you develop feelings for Rafe?
Sami: Johnny told me he heard you talking to EJ about Rafe.
Abigail: But that's--that's ridiculous. I hardly even know Rafe.
Sami: Well, that's what I thought too, but why would Johnny make up something like that? I mean, I know it's none of my business, but I was a little confused, and I thought I--
Abigail: Wait, I think-- okay. I was talking to EJ about Raphael.
Sami: Right. Yes, I know.
Abigail: No, not--not your ex-husband Rafael. Raphael the painter, the Italian painter.
Sami: That Raphael.
Sami: Wow, sorry about that. This is...[Laughs]
Abigail: No, that's okay.
Sami: Kind of like a really bad game of telephone.
Abigail: It's fine.
Sami: So you and EJ were talking about renaissance artists?
Sami: Must have been really nice for him to be able to talk about art with someone who isn't a total lowbrow like me. You know--oh, my gosh. Would you do me a favor? I mean, would you, like, teach me some things about art? I mean, not a lot, you know. You could just help me a little bit to understand it better, and then I could totally impress EJ. What do you think?
Abigail: I think you would get so much more out of it if you would take a crash course, or even just Google it, you know?
Sami: Oh, I don't have time for classes. I mean, googling something as general as art seems kind of useless. But you've talked art with EJ, right? So...
Abigail: Well, uh--
Sami: You know exactly the kinds of things that catch his eye. All right, it would just be, like, one session. Would you, please? It would be a huge favor.
Abigail: Yeah, all right. Sure. Yes, I would love to try to...
Abigail: Steer you in the right direction.
Sami: Fantastic. Thank you.
Sami: We'll be in touch, okay? And, um, hey, do me a favor. Let's, like, keep this between us. I mean, that is sort of embarrassing, that I don't know very much about art, and anyway, EJ will be so surprised with my erudition. That's the right word, isn't it?
Abigail: Yeah, it sounds good to me.
Sami: See ya.
Abigail: Oh, my God.
Rafe: Hey, Jordan.
Jordan: Oh. Hi.
Rafe: I missed seeing you last night. Hope you didn't have to work too late.
Jordan: Uh, what are you doing here?
Rafe: [Chuckles] Just came to see a suspect. Shoplifting case. It's a patient here.
Jordan: Well, I will let you get back to work.
Rafe: Hey, hey, hey, hey. Can I talk to you for a sec? Somewhere private?
Kate: Well, I love your ideas, but I don't know if a new product rollout would be cost effective at this particular stage.
Lucas: Well, wait a minute. If we move ASAP, we'll have plenty of time. I mean, Sheryl and I, we can go to the Missouri factory, make sure we have all the supplies in hand. How's that sound?
Lucas: I mean, the factory's near the Ozarks, and it's beautiful this time of year. You would love it.
Sheryl: I have always wanted to visit the Ozarks.
Sheryl: Yeah, I tried to convince Jordan to go with me once, but she's totally against it.
Kate: I wonder why.
Sheryl: I don't know. You know, she didn't give a reason. She just didn't want to go.
Lucas: Well, I'll be happy to show you the Ozarks for the very first time.
Rafe: I got the feeling last night that you were just blowing me off. Making excuses, and... I kept telling myself that it was just my imagination, but now--
Jordan: No, you're-- you're right, and I'm sorry. I'm so sorry.
Sami: Gabi, here's the thing. I have an exciting offer for you. I want you to be the face of countess W's newest summer cosmetic line. It's a lot of work, but it is local, and, you know, you will be able to stay here. It's great exposure for you. I mean, I know you said that you didn't want to do model--
Gabi: I'll do it.
Sami: You're not even gonna take some time to think about it?
Gabi: No. I don't need time. Between school and the baby, I haven't been able to find a decent job, and I know I'll always have childcare for Arianna here in Salem, so it's perfect.
Sami: Okay, great. Fantastic. I will have business affairs draw up a contract for you.
Sami: And we can, um-- Nick told you about this already, didn't he?
Kate: Well, I'll leave the two of you to plan your Ozark adventures. I hope you have a wonderful time.
Lucas: Thank you very much.
Sheryl: Your mother seems to be in very good spirits.
Lucas: Yeah, she was, wasn't she?
Kate: Ortiz, it's me. I have--I have a lead on Jordan Ridgeway. Yeah. See if you can find a connection with her to the Ozarks. I know the Ozarks are a large region. So is your salary. Well, start earning it, and find me something on the woman. [Exhales]
Rafe: I don't understand. Everything's been going great between us. If I did something or I said something to upset you, I don't even know.
Jordan: No. [Sighs] No, you haven't. You've been wonderful.
Jordan: I-I have really enjoyed our time together.
Rafe: Enjoyed? Sounds like the beginning of a good-bye.
Jordan: Rafe, I'm sorry, but I-I'm leaving Salem... for good.
Johnny: See, daddy? I told you we could do it.
EJ: Yes, I see.
Johnny: Yeah, because of Abigail. She's so awesome. Did you know how awesome she was, daddy?
EJ: Yes, I did.
Abigail: Stop torturing yourself, Abigail. It's over.
EJ: The meeting with Snyder went very well. Yeah, should be a profitable investment. Okay, good.
Nick: Ah, investments, investments, investments. Speaking of good investments, has Sami told you about my great idea for your company?
EJ: Ah, Mr. Fallon, you are full of them.
Nick: I know that having Gabi as your spokesmodel kind of comes out of left field, but I think she's going to be fantastic.
EJ: Mm. Well, I'm fine with that. I tell you, I, um, I'm a little bit surprised that you're being so blatant about going after Gabi again.
Gabi: Yeah. I knew about the modeling job from Nick. He was here before you got here. And he also told me it was his idea, but I'm just glad you think it's a good one.
Sami: [Snorts] Gabi, Nick is--
Gabi: I know what you think about Nick, Sami. Let's just--let's just agree to disagree. Besides, I think this is a win-win for everyone. Don't you think? Bye.
Sami: [Grunts] Sometimes I just want to throttle that girl. [Exhales]
Both: [Moaning softly]
[Cell phone rings]
Theresa: Oh, wait.
Brady: What? Come--oh, come on.
Theresa: Hang on. Look, that's my grandmother.
Brady: Your grandmother.
Theresa: [Laughs] Come on. I have to call her back, or she'll just keep calling. I swear.
Brady: Mm, all right, great. Great.
Theresa: Just wait, okay?
Brady: Call grandma.
Theresa: Half a second.
Theresa: All right, don't go anywhere, and definitely don't pass out.
Brady: Fat chance. Hurry, please.
[Knock at door]
Brady: There's someone--
Theresa: Oh, you know, that's probably my annoying neighbor. So--she's such a pill. Just get rid of her.
Brady: Okay-- dad.
