Gabi: Oh, yeah. [Giggling]

[Arianna babbles]

Kate: That doesn't look good.

Gabi: What?

Abigail: Hope, I need to tell you something. I've been trying andó

Gabi: Oh, my God.

Nick: Sorry. Am I interrupting?

Sheryl: Jordan, hi.

Jordan: Hey.

Sheryl: How was the christening?

Jordan: Oh, I didn't get to go. I had to stay with a patient.

Sheryl: Oh, bummer. I know Rafe would have wanted you to be there.

Jordan: Yeah.

Sheryl: I had so much fun hanging out with you guys the other night. He seems like a really nice guy.

Jordan: He is.

Sheryl: So how serious is it?

Tad: Will and Sonny said there was a reception after the christening. Didn't you want to party?

Rafe: At the DiMera mansion? No, no. Besides, I'm meeting Jordan, so...

Tad: Got ya. Hey, do you have a sec?

Rafe: Yeah.

Tad: Um, I know that you and Gabi are pretty tight, and, uh, you're always looking out for her, and, uh, we're gonna go out on a date.

Rafe: Oh. You think so, do you?

Tad: You're, uh-- you're not down for that?

Rafe: It's fine, T. It's fine. If she enjoys hanging out with you, then it's good with me. You're definitely an upgrade from the last guy she was with.

Nick: Oh, God, yeah. I-I am interrupting. It's my bad. Um, I'll go.

Julie: No! Nick, wait, please! We've been so worried about you! Ever since you left for New York, we had no way of getting in touch with you!

EJ: Gabi? Gabi!

[Overlapping shouting]

EJ: It's okay.

Julie: What happened?

Kate: Oh, my God.

Sonny: Are you okay? Just take a deep breath.

Abigail: Are you okay?

Gabi: What? What happened?

Julie: Well, you fainted, sweetheart. You took one look at Nick here and you fainted dead away.

Gabi: Nick? But Nick--Nick is--

Sami: Back in town. Wow. Who knew? But, I mean, that doesn't have anything to do with why you almost fainted, Gabi. Obviously, you need to take better care of yourself.

Sonny: Just she's very-- she's been very stressed out all day. This whole thing's been very--

Julie: Well, I still say call 911 right now.

Abigail: Gabi, what do you want us to do? Do you want us to call an ambulance?

Gabi: No, no, it's all right. No, I'm all right.

EJ: Okay, well, there we have it. She's fine.

Nick: I'm really sorry... if I upset things here. I really am. I didn't know that it was Arianna's christening.

Hope: It is a strange time for you to show up here today in St. Luke's. Nick, where have you been? What happened?

Nick: Well, I actually-- I went to the station--the police station--to see you, and the desk sergeant said that you'd be here, but he didn't really explain why. But you know what? It's obvious that I'm interrupting, and I'll just-- I'll go.

Julie: Don't you dare! Did you not hear a word I said? This family has been worried sick about you ever since Thanksgiving, when you went off to New York. And why didn't you call somebody or at least email?

Nick: Um... some stuff kind of went down, Aunt Julie, and it was--

Julie: [Gasps] Oh, my God! What happened to you, darling?

Gabi: Stop it!

Nick: [Grunts]

Gabi: Aah!

Hope: Excuse me, Julie. Oh, my God, Nick. Look at me. We want some answers. What happened?

Nick: Well... [Laughs] You guys are scaring me. Do I look that bad?

Hope: Nick, that looks as if it was serious.

Julie: You must have been hit by something enormous and heavy to leave a scar like that.

Abigail: Nick, what happened to you? Were you in a car wreck or something?

Nick: Hey, Abigail. Good to see you. No, I wasn't in a car wreck. And I'm okay, but thanks.

Hope: How did it happen?

Nick: Well... [Sighs] I guess... I guess it was an accident.

Julie: You guess?

Hope: Was it an accident or not?

Nick: I don't--to tell you the truth, I don't really know for sure. I just--I woke up and I had this horrible, horrible headache, and a cut right here, and I just-- I figured I had taken a-- a really bad fall.

Tad: This is cool. I mean, uh, you not having a problem with me dating your sister.

Rafe: Hmm. I got a question for you. Have you asked her out yet?

Tad: Well, not exactly. Um, you know, I mean, not so many words, uh, but I will.

Rafe: Well, good luck with that.

Tad: Thank you.

Rafe: Yeah.

Lucas: Hey, Rafe. How you doing?

Rafe: Hey. So I can see you didn't go to the reception either, huh?

Lucas: [Chuckles] At the mausoleum of death and despair? No, not likely.

Rafe: Yeah.

Lucas: Plus, I have to meet Sheryl to go over some designs.

Rafe: Oh. She seems nice. You may have yourself a real winner there, huh?

Lucas: Yeah, yeah, she's a real asset to the company.

Rafe: And to you.

Lucas: My relationship with Sheryl is strictly professional. Employee, employer. That's it. End of story.

Rafe: Right, yeah.

Jordan: Rafe and I-- I mean, we just get together sometimes and we're keeping it casual.

Sheryl: Okay.

Jordan: What?

Sheryl: No, I just-- look, we spent a lot of time together in Birmingham, and I have never seen you so relaxed around anyone.

Jordan: Right, well, let's just leave it at that, okay?

Sheryl: Sure, okay.

Jordan: I'm actually off to meet him now, so...

Sheryl: Hmm. No, it's cool. Actually, I have a conference with Lucas Horton to discuss some designs I submitted.

Jordan: Hmm, okay. I'll see you later.

Sheryl: Oh, uh, Jordan? Um, can you remind me again how to get to the club?

Jordan: Come on. We're actually going to the same place.

Sheryl: Oh, good. Okay.

Julie: That's all you know? You wake up with a gash on your head and you don't remember what happened?

Nick: You know what? I took care of it. I'm good.

Sami: You know, I think the baby's gonna get cranky, right?

Kate: Yeah.

Sami: Shouldn't we get her home? And obviously Gabi should be lying down and resting. You know, Nick, it's been really nice to see you again, but--

Julie: Hold it, Sami! Before everybody leaves, I'd like to hear something straight from Nick. Why didn't you get in touch with anybody?

Nick: Oh...yeah. I-I... I wanted to surprise everybody.

Kate: [Scoffs] [Whispers] Well, he sure as hell did that.

Nick: I guess it wasn't such a good idea.

Will: Do you think you can stand up?

Sonny: Here, let me help you. Grab on my arm. One, two, three.

Abigail: You wanna tell me what's really going on?

EJ: I'm not sure what you mean.

Hope: You know, Sami's absolutely right. This is Arianna--it's her day, and Will and Gabi, of course, and Sonny's. You know what, Nick? I think that you and Julie and I should, uh, grab some coffee...

Julie: Right.

Hope: Alone, some quality time.

Nick: Sure, sure, yeah. But, um, before everybody goes, I just--I'd like to say something in public.

Kate: Okay, Nick, this has been a very stressful day--

Nick: Don't interrupt, Kate. This is for Gabi. You didn't faint because you were tired or because you've been standing too long or any of that other stuff, did you? You fainted because you saw me, and we both know why.

Gabi: [Sighs] Nick, I-I-I didn't--

Will: Gabi's been worrying about this for days. Lack of sleep.

Sami: She's a new mother. I mean, the christening. She's been--

Julie: Now wait a minute. Gabi has been nervous every time I asked her about you, Nick. Really upset. So please tell me, did something happen between the two of you before you left for New York?

Nick: What I was gonna say was, when I woke up from the accident, I couldn't really remember what had happened to me, but what I did remember was... that I had treated Gabi really badly before I left. Isn't that right, Gabi?

Gabi: I...

Nick: I set it up so that she had a big chance to sign with a top modeling agency in New York, and she didn't know that I was behind it. See, I knew that I could get a job in New York myself, and my plan was that once we both got there that--that we'd--we'd get back together. I know it was crazy, okay? I know that. I mean, to try and control Gabi like that, it was completely and utterly delusional and wrong, and I know that now, and I should have been seeing a shrink the entire time, and I wasn't and I should have been. But I will let you know that I did start seeing somebody after the accident, and he was really helpful to me too. He kind of helped me think through what I had done and see how I'd kind of lost a grip on reality. So... I'm sorry, Gabi. And I hope that you'll give me a chance to make it up to you now that I'm back.

Julie: Wait. You're back?

Nick: Running off to New York was just running away from my problems. I mean, Salem--Salem's my real home. So, yeah, I'm--I'm back. Here to stay. And this time... I swear I'm gonna turn my life around.

Rafe: Hey.

Sheryl: Hey.

Jordan: Hi.

Rafe: Hey, hey, hey.

Lucas: How you doing?

Sheryl: Hi. Good. This is so weird. We just met in the square, and it ends up that we're both going here, so...

Lucas: Well, Salem is a lot smaller than you think. You better get used to it.

Rafe: Yeah.

Lucas: Come on.

Rafe: They have a meeting, so why don't we give 'em their space?

Jordan: Yeah.

Rafe: Good to see you again, Sheryl.

Sheryl: Yeah, yeah, you too.

Rafe: Yeah.

Lucas: Excuse us.

Rafe: You look terrific.

Jordan: Oh, this was my outfit for the christening.

Rafe: Oh, yeah?

Jordan: I hope you have pictures.

Rafe: Of course.

Lucas: Now, I've had a chance to go over your designs. You wanna go over them one by one, or how do you wanna do that?

Sheryl: Uh, wait. I want to know. How was your granddaughter's christening?

Lucas: Ah, that's very nice of you. Um, it was great.

Sheryl: Yeah?

Lucas: Yeah.

Rafe: Look at my niece. Oh, my God, isn't she gorgeous?

Jordan: Ohh.

Rafe: I really wish you could have been there.

Jordan: Me too, but maybe my missing out had its advantages.

Rafe: Sorry?

Jordan: Well, you got from the church all the way here on your own. Also, when you stood up just now, you barely used the cane.

Rafe: Oh, yeah, yeah. You noticed that, huh? Well, you know, Pete says that I may be off of that thing in a week or two, but then again, you probably already knew that.

Jordan: Well, listen to your PT. Don't try and rush things.

Rafe: I won't. I would never, no. But you do know that once I lose that cane and start moving around a little bit better... well, you do know what I'm gonna be doing with you.

Julie: Why, Nick, that's just wonderful. A new beginning.

Hope: I still have some questions.

EJ: And of course, I would hope you get those questions answered, Hope, but at the moment, we are in the middle of celebrating a christening.

Kate: Yes.

EJ: So, um... in case anybody is hesitant, my father is not at home at the moment, so I'd like to invite you all back to the mansion. Everybody's welcome, so come along, come along.

Hope: We'll have to pass. We're gonna spend some quality time together, but thanks for the invitation, EJ.

Julie: Yeah, I'm--me too.

Sami: Oh, well, that's too bad. All right, well, we should go. Right? [Whispers] Don't say anything. Okay? Aunt Hope, I'm sorry that you can't come. Oh, soon, okay? Nick.

Kate: Good seeing you.

Hope: Hello, Kate.

EJ: Good to see you.

Nick: Will... congratulations, man. Big day for your daughter.

Will: Yeah, it is.

Nick: And, um, again, I'm... sorry I made you faint, upset you. I promise I'm gonna make things right...for all of you.

Sonny: Well, all right. Uh, we're gonna get going. Excuse us.

Nick: Yeah.

Abigail: I'm gonna go too, but...we'll talk later. I'm glad you're back.

Nick: Me too. I'm around. Thanks.

Abigail: Yeah.

EJ: Listen. You go ahead. I need to talk to Abigail. She's still far too suspicious about what we're hiding regarding Nick.

Sami: You have to do what you have to do to keep her quiet.

Julie: I was so worried about you. I think people thought I was, uh, paranoid or crazy or around the bend, but... I cannot tell you how happy I am to see you.

Hope: Me too. Thank God you're all right, honey. But, uh, everyone is gone and it's just us. It's time for the truth. Where have you been? What really happened to you?

Jordan: Um, what do you think we'll be doing?

Rafe: Well, once the cane is gone and I know that I am good with the hip action... we're going dancing.

Jordan: Oh, oh! Dancing.

Rafe: Yeah, dancing. What? What? Don't laugh 'cause I'm good. I'm damn good, okay? And I am not just talking about the Latin stuff, okay? I will waltz you into next year.

Jordan: I-I cannot wait.

Rafe: Yeah.

Sami: We have some great food. Why don't you eat something, Gabi?

Gabi: No, I don't want anything, thank you.

Sami: Uh, that is not acceptable. I'm gonna make you a plate. Here. How about that?

Kate: Well, I have definitely lost my appetite.

Sami: Okay. Well, it's understandable, Kate. But EJ is, um, uh, right. Stefano is not here and he's not coming back anytime soon. And frankly, don't we have bigger problems to worry about?

Kate: Yeah, I suppose that's true. When the man that we all murdered shows up alive, I guess that's a larger priority. Top priority, right?

Sami: No kidding. I mean, seriously, I thought we did the world a favor throwing him out like garbage in the river. And did you hear the way that Julie was, like, fawning over him? It was disgusting.

Kate: Oh, my God.

Sami: Like he was an angel.

Kate: Oh, seriously, I had to fight the urge to wring his scrawny neck, I'm telling you.

Sami: Oh.

Kate: Do you realize that he downloaded a virus into my company computers? That cost us millions.

Sami: Mmm, mm-hmm. He's a disgusting worm. He really is. I mean, unbelievable.

Kate: Mmm.

Sami: But at least we didn't murder him. Right?

Kate: No, that's true. He's not dead and we're in the clear. Mmm.

Gabi: Um...

Sami: What?

Kate: What?

Gabi: Well, what if we're not in the clear?

Nick: It's like I told you all before. I had this stupid idea that I was gonna show up and... surprise everybody.

Julie: Well, meanwhile, Jessica and your grandmother Marie were sick with worry.

Nick: [Sighs] I'm really sorry. I'll call and explain.

Hope: And what about your therapy? You'll find someone here in Salem and keep at it?

Nick: Definitely, definitely. You know, it's like I finally realized I can't control everything...or other people. You know, I can't even control a lot of things in my own life, so the most important thing is for me to just accept, move forward, and stay positive.

Julie: Now you're talking. You know, that's always been my motto. Oh, sweetheart. My God, you're skin and bones. We've gotta put some weight on you, sweetie pie. Let's go to the Brady pub. We could keep talking there and it'll be my treat, okay?

Nick: Sure.

Julie: You know, sometimes coming back home and starting over, it can be a problem. With your new attitude, I think it's gonna work out great.

Gabi: You know, I'm serious. Nick could still accuse us of, you know--

Sami: Of what? Of not murdering him?

Gabi: There's something in the look in his eyes. Something.

Kate: I know. You know what I don't understand, is how he possibly could survive that freezing cold water. I don't get that.

Sami: Uh-huh.

Sonny: It's because he's not human.

Will: Wow, either you guys are hungry or incredibly anxious.

Gabi: Will, do you think Nick really knows what happened?

Sonny: That's what we were talking about on the way over here.

Gabi: I mean, if he does, he can use it against us. I mean, he can ruin our lives.

Kate: Oh, my God, stop! You have to stop! You were a nervous wreck when you thought he was dead, now you're a nervous wreck when he's alive. Just take it for what it is. It's good news that we didn't kill him.

Sami: Exactly. Kate is right. He's not dead and he can't blame us for anything.

Gabi: I hit him with that rock, Sami.

Will: In self-defense.

Sonny: You know what's been bugging me is that he said he didn't remember anything.

Kate: I know, I know. We felt that way too.

Sami: I mean, he did have a head injury. Like, a major one, right? I mean, it could cause amnesia, right?

Will: Sometimes it doesn't.

Sonny: Is EJ here?

Sami: Mm-mm. No, he stayed behind to deal with Abigail. She's still being squirrely about this whole thing.

Kate: Well, let's hope he finally puts a cork in it and shuts her up. Mmm, this is good.

EJ: Abigail, would you please stop?

Abigail: Why? So you can confuse me more than I already am?

EJ: I'm sorry?

Abigail: I feel pretty awful about this right now, okay? I accused you of killing Nick, who's obviously still alive. I was wrong and I know that. What do you want from me? An apology?

EJ: No, I don't want anything.

Abigail: I'm sorry, okay?

EJ: Abigail, Nick stopped communicating with his entire family. I asked you to keep quiet about the night that he disappeared. I don't think it's unreasonable that you had your suspicions.

Abigail: Suspicion is one thing, EJ, but accusing someone of murder, that's another.

EJ: Abigail, you were confused and upset, and understandably so. Look, the important thing we should concentrate on here is that Nick's back. Nick's alive, he's fine. Nobody murdered anybody.

Abigail: Yeah, I guess.

EJ: Is there something else that's bothering you?

Abigail: Nick is alive and that's good, but... that scar on his head. I'm thinking that maybe somebody tried to kill him.

Jordan: Oh, Arianna's gown is beautiful.

Rafe: Yep.

Jordan: You clearly have good taste.

Rafe: Oh, well, thank you, 'cause I like to think so. Look at it though. It was just great. It was such a great ceremony. Look how happy everyone was. You actually seem kind of happy right now.

Jordan: I am.

Rafe: Wow. Look at that. An honest answer. Didn't even delay, which is good because I do have another question. Were you happy when you first met me?

Sonny: I don't see Abigail running to Hope anymore, 'cause now she saw that Nick's alive. But if EJ thinks that Abigail might--

Gabi: Why are we still talking about Abigail? If Nick really remembers, he's gonna go to the police.

Kate: With what?

Sami: Gabi, he threatened you. He threw you down. He was going to rape you.

Gabi: But the scar, Sami! Oh, my God! I gave him that scar, and then-- and then we dumped his body into the freezing water and we left him for dead!

Sami: Stop it. Do not go down that road.

Gabi: But he--

Kate: He what? He has nothing. He can't go to the police. He's an ex-con with a crush on crazy. Come on, they're gonna take his word against ours?

Sami: Kate's right. And look at it this way. I mean, if he did remember, why did he wait so long to do something? It doesn't make any sense.

Gabi: Okay, yes, you're right. Maybe--well, maybe there is nothing to worry about. I don't know.

Sami: Okay. You know what you should be thinking about today? You have two things to celebrate. Your beautiful daughter was christened today, and we should all be celebrating the fact that we do not have a murder hanging over our heads anymore.

Kate: I think this calls for some of Stefano's finest champagne, and I know exactly where it is. Come, come, come.

Sami: What an excellent idea.

Gabi: No.

Sami: It's a chick thing. Come on, no, no, no, trust me.

Kate: Come on.

Sami: Important. Come.

Sonny: Finally.

Will: What?

Sonny: One reason for us not to get married is gone.

Julie: Well, whatever cut you left a terrible, terrible scar.

Nick: Yeah, it was--it was pretty ugly.

Hope: Honey, when you came to, where were you?

Nick: [Sighs] I'm not sure. Not sure.

Hope: Well, no problem. There's bound to be a report from the ER. Which hospital were you in?

Nick: No, I was--I was actually found by somebody who knew how to take care of my cut.

Julie: Well, he should have called the police or at least got an ambulance for you.

Nick: I talked him out of doing that, actually.

Julie: Why, darling?

Nick: You know, I'd just gotten off parole, and the last thing that I wanted was a bunch of cops around me, you know? Um, I'm gonna grab a refill. Do you guys want a refill on coffee?

Julie: No, I'm fine.

Hope: I'm good, honey.

Nick: You sure?

Hope: No, I'm good.

Julie: So he was mugged in New York City. That terrible blow to the head. No wonder he doesn't remember anything.

Hope: Yeah, which could explain why his text messages seemed a bit off.

Julie: [Sighs] I was so out there today, wasn't I? I mean, just going at everybody because Nick was making--

Hope: Julie, you were worried. You were worried about him. Quite frankly, I still am.

Nick: So... I hope we're all good.

Julie: You know, darling, I really wish you had called somebody, because I can understand you didn't want to talk to the police, but we're your family.

Nick: Yeah, yeah, I know. I mean, showing up at the church and surprising everybody was a stupid idea. I really--I'm really sorry. Didn't intend that.

Julie: But you are all right now?

Nick: I am, and starting tomorrow, I am gonna get a new job, I'm gonna get a new place, and I'm gonna make a fresh start.

Hope: Isn't that what you were doing in New York?

Nick: No, no. That--that was totally, totally unrealistic. I mean, manipulating Gabi, you know, lying to her, trying to control her? That--it never would have worked. That never would have worked. Now at least I'm back home where I belong and I can--I can start anew. You know? No more lies.

Hope: How do we know you're not lying about that?

EJ: Abigail, Nick had an accident. That's why he has a scar.

Abigail: No, no, he said that he thought he had an accident. He has no idea what really happened, EJ.

EJ: I really don't understand why Nick Fallon is of such importance to you.

Abigail: You don't?

EJ: No.

Abigail: Seriously? EJ, you chased me all the way out to Smith Island to keep me from talking to Hope. He seemed like he was pretty damn important to you too.

EJ: I realize--

Abigail: And in fact, he was so important to you that we wound up sleeping together. And guess what. Congratulations. It worked. Now, that's all I can think about. I see things and I am reminded of you. I try to concentrate about anything else and I am reminded of you. I understand that you are the type of person, EJ, that can just have sex with somebody and forget about it, but I can't do that.

EJ: Abigail?

Abigail: I'm embarrassed and ashamed and desperate.

EJ: Desperate?

Abigail: Yes. Damn it. Yes, desperate. I am desperate for it to happen again.

Gabi: He's at the club and says that Jordan loves the picture I sent him of Arianna in the gown.

Kate: Great.

Gabi: I guess that means I should probably go, right?

Will: Oh, right, Rafe doesn't know about Nick yet.

Sonny: No, just go ahead. We'll watch Ari.

Gabi: Okay, awesome. Look, um, thank you for everything. You know, for the stuff-- the stuff you did or... the stuff you tried to do. And I'm just--I'm sorry that I put you guys through this.

Sami: Aww. Hey, it's over, okay? We can all move on.

Kate: Yeah. Just think about it now. Sami and I don't have to spend as much time together.

[Laughter]

Gabi: That's my cue.

[Laughter]

Sami: Ugh!

Kate: [Sighs] Wow.

Sami: Sounds like I was right, right? About Rafe and Jordan spending all that time together. Ahh, must be getting serious.

Kate: Yeah, I couldn't be happier for them.

Jordan: I-I wasn't unhappy in Birmingham, but I didn't feel the way that I do now.

Rafe: What's the difference?

Jordan: I don't know. It's hard to explain.

Rafe: Try.

Jordan: I feel I have a home here, with friends, people who actually mean something in my life.

Rafe: And you didn't have that in Birmingham?

Nick: Hope, I get it. I mean, why take my word for it, right?

Hope: Right. You've definitely told your share of lies.

Julie: Oh, Hope!

Nick: Okay, you know what? The first person that I always lied to was myself. But this time, I'm gonna stay honest. I'm gonna stay grounded all the way.

Julie: Good for you. Obviously, the therapist in New York did some good.

Nick: Amazing.

Julie: So let's give the kid a break.

Hope: Yeah, that sounds good. Perfect.

Nick: You've heard it all before.

[Cell phone rings]

Hope: Excuse me. [Sighs] I need to deal with this. Nick...give me your hand. You're my family and I love you. I love you. You know how much, right?

Nick: I love you too.

Hope: Okay. You don't get a pass this time. So until you can give me enough good reasons to trust you again, I'm gonna be watching you. Yeah. I'm gonna be watching you very closely.

Nick: Okay.

Hope: Excuse me.

Abigail: Oh, my God. I don't even know what I'm saying. Don't--just forget that I said that.

EJ: Look, I...think we both know what you're saying. It's, uh... to want for it to happen again is, you know--it's natural. We have a tendency to want to have things that we cannot have.

Abigail: Is that all you think that this is? Let me tell you something. When you and I are together, I'm not sure that we can ever be apart.

EJ: Abigail, if I have made you feel in some way--

Abigail: No, no.

EJ: No, no, wait.

Abigail: EJ... I know that you haven't made me any promises and you haven't led me on. I know that. But come on. I know that what I feel... I know you feel it too. I can see it in your eyes. You know that story you told me about you and Gabi and Nick, the night that he left for New York? I think that maybe I will tell Hope about that, because you never know. Maybe it could, uh, jog Nick's memory.

Lucas: Well, listen. I'm really sorry I didn't get a chance to go over your designs.

Sheryl: Well, you know, that's my fault. I asked you all those questions about your family. I'm sorry.

Lucas: No, don't be. It's okay, really.

Sheryl: But it was a business meeting. You know, I--you're such a nice guy, that I forget you're the head of the company.

Lucas: Well, I'm still me, and I really liked talking to you...a lot.

[Cell phone rings]

Lucas: Oh, uh, excuse me. I'm sorry. Um, actually, this is a meeting. I gotta deal with it.

Sheryl: Right, yeah, no. Um, think I can find my way back to the office fine.

Lucas: Okay.

Jordan: In Birmingham, I never had the friends that truly mattered, except for Sheryl.

Rafe: How about before Birmingham?

Jordan: No. I never had that...until now.

Rafe: Wow. That's awful. I feel bad that your life has been so--

Jordan: Hey, aren't we supposed to be celebrating your niece's christening? Enough with the sadness. This conversation is going--

Rafe: Somewhere you didn't want it to go, yeah.

Jordan: Right.

Rafe: Well, I hope that someday you feel like you really can talk to me.

Jordan: I know that I can. I trust you. But, Rafe, you have to realize, there are some things that I'm never going to want to talk about with anyone.

Sami: Hey, hey, make sure that Gabi gets plenty of rest, okay? She needs it.

Will: Gotcha.

Sonny: Will do.

Kate: All right.

Sonny: See you later.

Sami: Bye.

Kate: Bye-bye. Aww.

Sami: All right.

Kate: Okay, um... all right.

Sami: So, um, are you leaving? Right?

Kate: Yes, I am. I just, um--you know, I thought EJ might be back by now.

Sami: I mean, he probably had other things to do, you know? He dealt with Abigail, and then probably had to go to the office.

Abigail: No, uh, the 5-k run is coming up soon, and I need to make sure that I have enough t-shirts for everyone, so-- but I'll talk to you later, okay? Okay. Let's see.
