Episode #12216 ~ Shane & Kimberly leave Theresa's fate in Jennifer's hands; Sonny receives upsetting news.
Provided By Suzanne
Jennifer: Hey. What? Is something wrong?
JJ: No, no. It's just, um, Theresa's parents: They're in town and they want to talk to you.
Theresa: I know that look.
Shane: What look?
Theresa: The united front. You two went off to decide whether or not I have to go back to California with you, right? Now you're here to give me the verdict.
Sonny: Are you bringing the coffee to Rafe at the hospital?
Tad: Personally, I think Rafe's got all he needs.
Sonny: Oh, you saw him?
Tad: No, didn't need to. Saw his smokin' hot physical therapist, though, last night. I'm serious! Thinking about spraining my ankle just to get in on that action.
Jordan: The lake's gonna be frozen soon.
Rafe: Yep. You know, I was thinking about getting out of my chair and walking down on the water's edge today.
Jordan: Well, you will soon. You're getting stronger every day.
Rafe: Yeah. I didn't know he was back.
Rafe: Hey, will!
Will: Oh, hey! Good to see you.
Rafe: Yeah, you too.
Rafe: You're back already, huh?
Will: Yeah, just a week, yeah.
Rafe: Oh, okay. How'd it go?
Will: It was great. Then I got back here and I found out all hell had broken loose.
Rafe: Oh, right. You're talking about what happened with Eric at Brady and Kristen's wedding, huh?
Rafe: What a mess.
Will: [Chuckles] That's not all that happened though.
Rafe: What are you talking about?
Will: I'm guessing you haven't seen your sister lately.
Gabi: Oh, wow. I didn't even notice that you were there.
Nick: You were too busy reading your contract.
Nick: Hey, Ari. You are looking bigger every time I see you. [Chuckles]
Gabi: Yeah, I just had a lawyer look this over.
Nick: A lawyer? What, you mean Justin?
Gabi: Yeah, only lawyer I know.
Nick: So wait, does that mean that will and Sonny know that you're planning on moving to New York and taking Arianna with you?
Gabi: No, they don't know yet. And Justin can't say anything. But, you know, he did make me feel awful about even thinking about it. Honestly, I mean, maybe this is a mistake.
Jennifer: I mean, after everything that happened with Theresa, I'm not surprised that Shane and Kimberly are in town. But did they say that they wanted to talk to me about her?
Theresa: Oh, my God! You're doing it!
Theresa: Is that why you left? To call the judge and get my probation revoked?
Shane: No, Theresa, we wouldn't do anything like that.
Kimberly: We wouldn't.
Shane: Especially not since there's so much work still to do.
Kimberly: Honey, we almost lost you. And we're not about to make that same mistake again.
Theresa: Why won't anyone believe me when I say that I've seen the light? Look, I'm gonna go into a program, okay? And I know I can't do that alone. So what else do I have to say? Who do I have to convince that I'm on the level this time?
JJ: Theresa's parents, they told me that if you didn't have time to meet with them, that they want you to call.
Jennifer: Yeah, okay, I will. I mean, this isn't really the place to talk about that.
Maxine: Hey, you got a minute?
Maxine: I just got Mr. Foster's blood work back. I think you might need to adjust the dosage on his blood thinners.
Daniel: Okay, let me see the test results.
Jennifer: So thank you for telling me, and I will take care of that.
JJ: All right, I'm gonna go to school.
Jennifer: Yeah, okay. Love you, honey. Bye. Okay, no messages. If anyone on the floor wants me, I'll be out of the building for a while, okay?
Daniel: [Whispering] I'll type it in, thank you.
Jennifer: Do you have a minute?
Jennifer: Yeah, this really can't wait.
Caroline: I don't think that you know...how dear you are to us.
Theresa: I love you too.
Caroline: You--you are so dear that we're trying to do whatever it takes to help you.
Theresa: And grandma, I keep telling you that--
Caroline: [Stammers] I believe you mean it. Today. But as time passes, and the future comes along... the thing that you found scary, that experience may not be so scary in the future.
Theresa: You want me to go back to California with them too?
Kayla: You know, Theresa, for your own good, you should listen to your grandmother. She's pushed harder than anyone to give you a second chance.
Theresa: Fine, look, I'll do whatever you want, okay? I just don't want to go to jail!
Kimberly: Baby, baby, listen to me, none of us want that.
Theresa: Then why are we still talking about this? I mean, come on. Why can't I just stay here?
Jennifer: I just wanted to talk to you about what happened at the wedding yesterday.
Daniel: The one that didn't happen?
Jennifer: I assume you know what did happen.
Daniel: Yeah, it was all over the internet.
Jennifer: And you were Eric's doctor when he was drugged, if that's what it was.
Daniel: It is.
Jennifer: You know that?
Daniel: Proving it is next to impossible but, yeah, I have some ideas, yeah.
Jennifer: Okay, well, anyway, I just--I thought, you know, maybe it would be hard for him to reach out for help, and you're just really good at that. So I thought maybe if you could make the first move, you could give him some support.
Daniel: Sure, yeah. I'll--I'll try to come up with something to do, yeah.
Jennifer: Okay, good. I think I feel a little naive, believing in Kristen.
Daniel: Yeah, well, she was pretty good at selling herself.
Jennifer: Yeah, she really fooled me, I-- you know, one minute, you think you know someone, and then...
Daniel: Turns out you don't really know them at all.
Kate: So how did you meet Rafe's therapist? Hopefully you weren't in the hospital.
Tad: No, ma'am. It was right here. I was bartending.
Kate: Jordan was here?
Tad: In all of her glory. Wow, 'cause I always think of her all work and no play.
Tad: Not last night, 'cause she was having a good time.
Kate: Well, was she here with someone?
Tad: Oh, Abigail and Gabi. That's how I met her.
Kate: Oh! Well, that's good, she's making friends. You know, maybe she'll be staying in Salem. God knows she's done wonders for Rafe. So, anyway, I need to be going. Would you tell will to call me?
Sonny: Absolutely, no problem.
Kate: So...you're partying with Rafe's sister. What are you up to, Jordan? [Sighs]
Rafe: What do I not know about my sister?
Will: Oh, it's good news, I swear. I'll just let her tell you herself.
Rafe: Okay. Oh, excuse me. This is Jordan. Will. She's...
Will: Oh, hello.
Will: Mwah! Nice to meet you.
Rafe: Whipping me back into shape, yeah.
Will: Yeah, I saw you at the club for mom and EJ's engagement party thing, right?
Jordan: Oh, yep.
Rafe: You're right, yep. She was with me then too.
Will: Yeah, you guys are lucky you got out before the shooting happened.
Rafe: Yeah, yeah, that's usually good.
Will: I'm glad I didn't scare you away, though. Sonny told me you were there last night.
Rafe: You were at the club?
Jordan: Um, yeah.
Will: Yeah, she was hanging out with Gabi and Abby, apparently.
Rafe: Wait, hold on a second. You were hanging out with my sister and I didn't know about it?
Jordan: [Stammers] It really wasn't a big deal.
Will: That's not what Gabi said.
Nick: You're not really having second thoughts, are you?
Abigail: Well, I mean, this whole idea of taking Ari away from will, it--it bothers me.
Nick: You're not really taking her away. I mean, they can go to New York, you can come visit.
Gabi: Well, I mean, they're not gonna see it that way, Nick. You know they're not. And then what about when Ari grows up, and she finds out that I took her away from her daddy just so I could be a model?
Nick: Yeah. Wow. Well, I guess, maybe you should turn it down, right? The opportunity pretty much fell in your lap. I'm sure another one will come along.
Gabi: Yeah, but what do I do till then? I mean, I have to get a job. I have bills to pay. I can't keep living off of will and Sonny.
Nick: Right, right. Didn't you say you had some friend who just got a job at a big corporation? Mindy something? Couldn't you get a job where she works?
Gabi: She didn't get a job. She got an internship. She lives with her parents. She can afford to work all those hours for nothing.
Nick: Oh. Man, bummer.
Gabi: Yeah, I mean... [Scoffs] People that have money can afford to do internships. I have to get a real job. A good one.
Rafe: [Chuckles] So what went on in the club last night, huh?
Jordan: Nothing, nothing.
Rafe: A little...
[Cell phone rings]
Jordan: You know what? That's the hospital.
Rafe: Yeah, I'll bet.
Jordan: This is Jordan.
Rafe: [Laughs] All right, so, uh...
Rafe: Your mom must have been pretty upset about what happened with Eric?
Will: Oh, yeah, she was. I actually just came from talking to her.
Rafe: What about EJ?
Will: I don't know. I mean, I was talking to mom about Eric, and then he suddenly started asking me about Berkeley.
Rafe: If my sister drugged my fiancÚ's priest brother and made a sex tape, I'd probably change the subject too.
Will: Do you think EJ and Stefano are in on it? Or...
Rafe: I really don't know enough about it. But I do feel bad for Eric. I mean, he's a priest. Certainly seems like a good guy.
Will: Yeah, that's what everybody says.
Rafe: Hey, listen, if you talk to him, just let him know I'm in his corner, all right?
Will: I will, I will. Thanks.
Jordan: Hey, sorry, I have to get back to the hospital.
Will: That's okay. I gotta go too. And I'll see you later.
Rafe: All right, see you, will.
Will: See you.
Jordan: All right, let's go.
Rafe: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Hold on a second. Not till I hear about this crazy girls' party last night. What happened?
Jordan: If I get back to the van before you do, I'm leaving without you.
Rafe: Oh, hey, come on! Come on, just--can I get some details here? Just one. Leave me out in the cold like that? [Sighs]
[Wheelchair wheels squeaking]
Nick: If you're looking for an excuse to walk away from this, maybe you should call that agent again.
Gabi: And say what?
Nick: And--and say that this deal isn't what you made it out to be.
Gabi: Well, that's not true. Even Justin was impressed. I mean, I'm gonna make enough money to take care of Arianna and me and even save some money for her college. And they're giving me everything I want: Plane tickets so that I can bring her back and hang out with will and--you know what?-- Time off, so that will and Sonny can come to New York.
Nick: Wow. Man, they--they really made it hard to say "no." I didn't realize that. But, you know what? I don't think that you're gonna need to save money for Arianna's college. I mean, will's family has money, Sonny owns that club, and who knows? Probably Will'll write a best-seller pretty soon, right?
Gabi: You have to hear him talking about that workshop. I mean, it's like he knows what he wants to do with his life. He's got Sonny and his writing, and it's like he's got his future planned out.
Nick: You have a future too, Gabi. You'll figure it out.
Gabi: Maybe I already have. You know, what if I'm letting a guilt trip make me walk away from it?
Nick: What about will? At will he think?
Gabi: You know, it's not my fault that the modeling business is in New York. And if I give that up, it's not just giving up a job, it's giving up a whole career.
Nick: Wow, I-I didn't even think of it like that.
Gabi: Do you know how much I'm gonna resent will for that? I mean, especially if I have to go begging to him and Sonny for things that Arianna needs because I can't pay for them myself.
Nick: Yeah. [Stammers] So what are you thinking?
Gabi: I have to do it. I just--I guess I just have to.
Will: Sorry I missed your call. What's up?
Sonny: I thought you were gonna sleep in.
Will: Yeah, I got jet lag.
Sonny: Oh, that can happen after a long flight.
Will: I know.
Tad: Hey. So did you get my text about your uncle?
Sonny: T, shut up.
Will: No, it's okay. Yeah, I did. Is that what your message was about?
Sonny: Yeah, I wanted you to hear it from me.
Will: It doesn't matter who I heard it from, I mean it--
Sonny: It sucks.
Will: Yeah. I mean, my uncle is claiming that Kristen drugged him to have sex with him.
Tad: [Puffs] So is he, like, defrocked or whatever they call it now?
Sonny: Mr. Sensitive strikes again.
Will: I don't know what's gonna happen to him, honestly.
Tad: Where's the chick?
Sonny: She left town.
Tad: Man, if she was that desperate, she could have just called me. No drugs needed.
Sonny: T, can you go unload the beer truck?
Tad: I already did.
Sonny: Can you get lost?
Sonny: Just, he doesn't-- he doesn't take anything seriously.
Will: I know. He can't help it. Ooh, what's in the box? I'm hungry.
Sonny: Well, we have to wait for Gabi. And we might be waiting awhile, 'cause she hasn't decided on that modeling gig, yet. But if she does decide to take it...
Sonny: Ta-da. What do you think? I should have maybe waited and got your opinion, Mr. Writer.
Will: No, I love it, I love it.
Sonny: You love it?
Will: That's very sweet.
Sonny: And if she doesn't take the job, we can just share it.
Will: She's gonna take it, trust me. Why would she pass up something like this?
Jennifer: Well, I said my piece. I guess I should get going.
Daniel: Okay. Take care.
Jennifer: Yeah, you too. Oh, you know, one more note. I got a message from up high that the dinner for the top ten doctors was put on hold. So the article you did for Salem style, the one that was going to feature you--
Daniel: I guess you didn't get the note I left.
Jennifer: No. What note?
Daniel: The one that said forget about me participating in this thing.
Jennifer: Okay. Yeah. I was gonna say the same thing.
Daniel: Yeah, so I guess I-I saved you some trouble.
Jennifer: Yeah, yeah, okay.
Shane: Theresa, look. Going back to the status quo, acting as though your overdose was nothing but a small blip on the radar, I think we've already agreed that is not an option.
Kimberly: No, it's not. And your actions not only hurt you, they hurt the entire family. And that's why we asked everybody who really loves you to be here today.
Shane: Because they have a say in what happens to you next.
Shane: And not just them.
[Cell phone rings]
Theresa: What does that mean?
Kimberly: That's all right.
Shane: Excuse me.
Kayla: I think what your dad is trying to say, is that whether you stay here or not, it affects a lot of people. And not just this family. There is one person in particular, who needs a vote in whether you stay here or not.
Theresa: A vote? Are you serious? Jennifer?
Kayla: Don't act like you're surprised.
Tad: Can I come back now?
Sonny: Are you gonna behave yourself?
Tad: I always behave myself! Cake! Ooh! I'm gonna get a fork.
Sonny: No, you're not eating the cake. This is for later. He's been eating so much of the inventory, I'm not even gonna have to pay him.
Will: I can't even believe you're working here.
Tad: Hmm? Yep. And doing an awesome job too. Go ahead, tell him what you said.
Sonny: He's not half bad.
Tad: See? Ha!
Will: [Mock gasps]
Tad: Already a valued employee.
Sonny: Oh, man. You know what really scares me? Now that Chad's gone, I have to give t some extra hours.
Will: So if you're helping me with Ari--
Sonny: Oh, yeah, he might be managing the joint.
Will: You know, one day you're gonna come back and club TBD is gonna be club T. I think.
Sonny: It's so good to see you smile.
Will: Thanks, well, I've got a lot to smile about. I mean, this thing with my uncle is strange, but I got a great boyfriend. I got a beautiful daughter. My writing is going well. This place is turning a profit. You can buy me stuff. And Gabi's about to do something that could really change her life for the better.
Sonny: Yeah, as long as she gets over herself and signs that contract.
Will: I know, she will, she will, I'm gonna make her. And everything's gonna work out.
Nick: So... [Stammers] You think you're gonna do this?
Gabi: Yeah, yeah. I'm gonna do this. I mean, I have to, I need to. Arianna needs it.
Gabi: Okay, I'm gonna call the agency and tell them I'm gonna sign the contract.
Nick: Wow. [Sighs] Arianna, let me tell you, you-- you're gonna love New York city. Wait till you see central park and the Bronx zoo. I mean, you and your mom are gonna be so happy. The three of us are gonna be really, really happy.
Gabi: Left a message. It's all set.
Nick: You did it?
Nick: You just did it?
Nick: Oh, my God. You know what? This is gonna be so great for--for--for you. What?
Gabi: Will. I mean, what if he fights me on this? What if he tries to get custody?
Daniel: Close the door. Why didn't you take off after you got done talking to your mom?
JJ: I know that you said that I wasn't supposed to be around you--
Daniel: Yeah, that's right. You start hanging out with me, people are gonna start to put together what really happened with Theresa, including the cops.
JJ: Something happened that you need to know.
Daniel: Okay. All right, what?
JJ: Theresa's parents are in town, and they showed up on my doorstep! I freaked out, man. I thought Theresa remembered that I was there when she O.D.'d. And I thought they were there to kick my ass.
Daniel: You're here now, so obviously that didn't happen.
JJ: They want to talk to mom.
Daniel: Okay. Did they say why?
Daniel: Well, I have no idea what they would want. All I know is that they better not find out that you were with Theresa. At least not before your sentencing hearing.
JJ: Like I don't know that, man? Do you think Theresa's gonna remember that night? Do you think she's gonna remember I was there?
Daniel: I don't know. If she doesn't remember you by now, it's not likely she ever will.
JJ: 'Cause that's what I thought last night, but I'm not a doctor.
Daniel: Whoa, whoa, whoa. Back up, back up a second. Last night?
JJ: I went over to Theresa's place to see how she was doing. I just--
Daniel: I'm s--you did what?
JJ: I wanted to make sure she was okay.
Daniel: Oh, my God. Okay, are you thinking at all? At all? Because that right there, that move, was a very, very bad idea.
Theresa: Why are we running any of this by Jennifer? If you leave it up to her, I'm done!
Kimberly: Theresa, you're gonna have to calm down.
Theresa: Don't tell me how to feel! Look, you leave it up to her, she's gonna ship me off! But I guess you don't care about that.
Shane: Hey. Hey! "A," don't speak to your mother like that ever again. And, "b"... even though we don't know exactly what Jennifer has to say, we will in a moment, because that was her on the phone, and she's on her way over. think will is gonna put up a fight?
Gabi: Yes, if he thinks that I'm trying to take his daughter away from him, yes, I think he's gonna put up a fight.
Nick: You don't think he's ever considered that the situation with all three of you living there is temporary and that you guys might have to part ways at some point?
Gabi: Okay, but neither one of us has ever talked about leaving town.
Nick: But that's because you're not even leaving. I mean, you're gonna be back here, like, once a month, and he can go to New York.
Gabi: He went to California for a week, and he was telling me how much he missed Arianna. I mean, this is gonna kill him.
Nick: Look, Gabi, all you're doing is you're moving somewhere where you can have a career, and you can take care of your daughter. You're not cutting will out. And even if he did make trouble for you, what judge is gonna rule against you?
Gabi: Nick, I hear what you're saying. I do. But I'm dreading telling him.
Nick: I think you'll figure out a way to do it. I know you will.
Gab I hope so. Um, I better get going.
Nick: Hey, Gabi. I'm happy for you.
Rafe: Tell me. What were you ladies drinking last night?
Jordan: [Sighs] Nothing but sweet tea.
Rafe: Sweet tea? What, are you from the south?
Jordan: Are you always this nosy?
Rafe: No, actually, I'm not. I'm just a police detective who's itching to get back to work. But I guess I shouldn't take that out on you.
Jordan: Thank you.
Rafe: [Sighs] Seriously, though, I just wanna know if you had a good time.
Jordan: You are impossible. I'm gonna make sure an orderly helps you back into bed, okay?
Rafe: All right. Hey. I'm glad you went out and had a good time. Seriously.
Jordan: Thank you. I have to go.
Jordan: I have to go.
Rafe: All right. See you later.
Daniel: If it gets out that you were Theresa, and there were drugs involved, the judge, he won't care that you've been clean since then. He told you, you will do time. And, JJ, it will change your life. And it will kill your mother.
JJ: She's constantly talking about how proud she is of me.
Daniel: Good. Good, keep it that way.
JJ: I don't like hiding this from her.
Daniel: Well, think of it as looking out for her. And yourself.
JJ: I brought out my old guitar this morning. I thought she was gonna cry or something.
Daniel: She told me you were pretty amazing.
JJ: No, she didn't.
Daniel: Honest, she did. Yeah, she said you were just a little guy when you started taking guitar lessons. And that your teacher said you showed more promise than any student she ever had.
JJ: Mom likes to brag.
Daniel: She's not bragging. She is proud of you, just like you said. She also told me that you played o come, all ye faithful at the school Christmas concert in fifth grade. Got a little standing "O."
JJ: No I-I didn't. No one stood up.
Daniel: Well, that's the way she remembers it. JJ, she wanted me to know that you are really talented. I got patients to see. And if you need to see me again, be more careful than you were today.
Shane: So, Jennifer, as I explained to you on the phone, we're all here trying to come up with what to do next. Having Theresa come out to Salem was supposed to be about her having a second chance. Having a chance to change her behavior.
Theresa: Look, Dad, come on. Jennifer's already heard all this. You told her on the phone. I think who she needs to hear from now is, um, me... being honest for once. I've been trying to convince my family that I deserve a second chance here. It hasn't really been an easy sell. They know that they asked you to help me, and you said okay. And I took what you offered, and I threw it back in your face. They're here because I overdosed. Which I can't even talk about, because I don't remember anything that happened that night. But you're here because of all the stuff that I did when I wasn't high. The job. My friendship with JJ and... just making you miserable just because I could. And I know that that's an awful thing to say but it's... it's true. So...I guess now I just need to say that I'm really sorry for being such a bitch. And I'm going into a program. And one of the first steps is making amends. And I can't think of a better person to start with than you. So, um... [Stammers] I know it's gonna take some time, but I hope that maybe someday, somehow you can find it in your heart to forgive me. I really...I really am sorry, Jenn. |X
Nick: I just wanted to let you know that I've thought about it, and I'm gonna take the job. Well, just let me know when I can start, and I'll be there. I've literally wanted to live in New York my entire life. Yes. Great, great, great, great. I'll see you soon. I'll see you soon. Bye. Oh, hey, will. Good to see you.
Nick: Oh, I-I heard about the--about the bad news.
Will: Uh, what bad news?
Nick: It's so weird how that stuff always happens, like, when you least expect it.
Kate: Very clever.
Jordan: [Sighs] What is it now, ms. Roberts?
Kate: Oh, okay, so we're formal today, are we?
Jordan: Look, I'm a little busy.
Kate: Yeah, I bet you are. But this will only take a minute. I'm just a little curious about something. Is this always the way you work?
Daniel: You're still here? I was hoping they'd kick you out.
Rafe: Are you kidding? I talked 'em into letting me stay. Can't get enough of the food.
Daniel: Yeah, they've managed to make it both tasteless and disgusting. It's a culinary art. How are you doing, man?
Rafe: Better. Seriously. But I do wanna sleep in my own damn bed. I wanna get back to work.
Daniel: Yeah, maybe catch Kristen DiMera?
Rafe: Mm. Frankly, I hope she's long gone. Just wish she would have taken the rest of the DiMera clan with her.
Daniel: I called Eric. Rolled straight to voice mail.
Rafe: Yeah? How are you holding up?
Daniel: What does that mean?
Rafe: Buddy, I have been in this hospital long enough to be on staff. I hear things.
Daniel: Oh, yeah? Gossip, huh?
Rafe: You know what I'm talking about.
Daniel: Yeah, I do. I'm fine. I'm gonna be just fine.
Jennifer: I know what happens if I tell you that I can't be around Theresa. But you are her parents, and that is your decision to make, not mine. But I do have something that I wanna say. All that I care about, and all that I need is for you to stay away from my son. I don't care what you do. I don't care about you at all. But if you are going to stay here, you better be invisible. Because if I catch you near my son, I will make your life miserable. I'm sorry.
Kimberly: That's okay, that's okay.
Theresa: So that's it, right? She didn't say I couldn't stay in Salem.
Kayla: I've gotta go too. Please let me know what you decide.
Kimberly: Thanks, Kayla, it's okay. It's all right.
Kayla: Hey. You surprised me in there.
Jennifer: I know. You thought I was gonna say I wanted her to go to jail.
Kayla: Well, after everything she's done, it would be tempting.
Jennifer: Yes. And I am not happy that she's going to be around. But she is not the only one who has made mistakes.
Kayla: You mean Daniel?
Jennifer: I'm just thinking about my part in all of this, you know?
Kayla: What did you do wrong?
Jennifer: Oh, please, Kayla. I did plenty, okay? But it's the past, and now we're moving towards the future. All right? And your niece, I know how much you care about her. And I really hope that she turns her life around.
Kayla: Do you see that happening? I mean, honestly?
Jennifer: No. No, I don't.
Jordan: I don't play games. All I do is--
Kate: All you do is go to work. I know. You get here early. You're driven. You're disciplined. And then you go home. But I'm just a little curious about that reputation.
Jordan: How so?
Kate: Well, when you freelance from town to town, is this always the way you do it? I mean, do you stir up curiosity about who you are, who you really are, what you're really about? And then one day, miraculously, you start to loosen up. You come out of your cocoon. And all of a sudden, you're the most intriguing girl in town. Is that how you engineer it?
Jordan: That's a crock.
Kate: Is it?
Jordan: What do you have against me?
Kate: I have nothing against you. Nothing. I'm absolutely thrilled that the butterfly is finally going to unfold her wings. Then everyone will know who Jordan Ridgeway really is. You know what I mean?
Kayla: Listen, Jenn, thanks again for putting up with this mess, all right?
Jennifer: Yeah, I really hope it works out.
Kayla: Me too.
Theresa: So that wasn't exactly a ringing endorsement, I know.
Shane: That... [Clears throat] Is an understatement.
Theresa: Yeah, but she didn't say that I have to go back to California. And you said that once we heard from Jennifer, then we could settle this. And now we have. I mean, you guys don't wanna take a chance of me going to jail, right? I mean, I could stay here and fix things.
Shane: I told Jennifer that if you interfere with her or her son in any way whatsoever, she's to call me immediately.
Theresa: So does that mean I'm staying? Oh, God! Thank you so much!
Shane: It is not--it is not quite that simple.
Theresa: What do you mean?
Kimberly: Honey, you overdosed. You've never done that before, so there's gotta be a reason. And I have this feeling something happened that night, something you're not telling us or anybody else.
Will: Uh, what bad news?
Nick: Father Eric. You heard about that, right? I mean, because everybody else has.
Will: Yeah, I have. Um, I don't really know, though. So if you want the inside scoop, probably ask somebody else.
Nick: No, no, no, no, no. It wasn't that. Hey, how was Berkeley? That must have been awesome.
Will: It was.
Nick: You're still writing?
Will: Yeah. Changed my major to creative writing.
Nick: Dude. You don't need to create anything. You know what you should do? Let me tell you what you should do. You should write an autobiography. I'll bet people would line up to read that story.
Nick: I'm serious.
Will: I'll keep that in mind.
Nick: See you.
Gabi: Shhh. She just fell asleep.
Sonny: [Whispering] I'm so sorry.
Sonny: Hello. Uh, no, this is her roommate. Yeah, if you just wanna wait a minute, I can--I can get her for you. Yeah, you can just tell me. Are you kidding me? New York. Oh, yeah, I will give her the message.
Gabi: She's down for the count.
Sonny: You selfish bitch.
