Episode #12206 ~ Someone learns the truth about what Kristen did to Eric; Eric asks to be relocated.
Provided By Suzanne
Eric: You bitch. I know what you did to me!
Brady: Hey. Kristen, hey. What's wrong? You all right? You all right?
Nick: [Humming] Good thing the mad world H.R. People didn't take away my company phone. Sparkle modeling agency? Yes. Hi. This is Lucas Horton. I'm the--the creative director at mad world, and I'm calling to inquire about the availability of your client Gabriella Hernandez? Yes, I can hold. Yes. Hi, ms. Burroughs. Uh, I'm calling to see if you rep-- you don't represent her, but you're planning to sign her. Yes. No, no, no, no. That's--that's great. Listen, do me favor and let me know when you do sign her, because we really believe that this is a top model poised for a huge comeback.
Nick: You're too much, ms. Burroughs.
Gabi: Hey, are you sure that it's okay that I leave her? I mean, I could take her with me.
Sonny: Oh, and incur the wrath of her grandparents? No, thank you. They're looking forward to hanging out with their little princess. Aren't they, Ari?
Gabi: Yeah, but you're really busy, and Chad's not here, and you have so much to do. I can take her.
Sonny: No, I-I do. But I have plenty of help. And besides, spending quality time with Ari... helps me miss will less, if that makes any sense.
Gabi: Oh, he texted me this morning, and it seems like he's having a blast in Berkeley.
Sonny: He is. He definitely is having fun. And, uh, who knows? Maybe he found his calling.
Gabi: Yeah, I know the feeling--not that it lasted very long. But I just--I... I think it's really cool that he's doing this, and I'm really happy for him.
Kate: Listen to me very carefully, Mr. Ortiz. Jordan Ridgeway didn't just plop down on earth, like Dorothy waking up in oz. There has to be some explanation, some record of where she was and what she was doing before that. [Sighs] Well, if you're the very best in your business, then do your damn job and get me that information.
[Door closes, footsteps approaching]
Kate: Well, hi, honey. You're here early.
Lucas: And you're up to something. Whose private life are you snooping into now, mother?
Jordan: No, it can't happen. [Sighs]
Rafe: Well, good morning, Jordan.
Jordan: Good morning.
Rafe: I've been waiting for you. Ready to get to work.
Jordan: Great. I can go over your P.T. Schedule for the rest of the week.
Rafe: Mm. That's not necessary. I know the drill.
Jordan: It's hospital policy. We have to follow procedure.
Rafe: Okay. What's going on?
EJ: [Chuckles] Now...
EJ: That is my favorite type of wake-up call.
Sami: [Laughs] I'm glad you liked it. It's all downhill from here. [Sighs happily]
EJ: So I'm gonna guess you're talking about my sister's wedding.
Sami: Yeah. Yeah, I am-- the fact that we're gonna have to plaster fake smiles on our faces and pretend we're happy about their blessed union.
EJ: Samantha, I thought you'd come to terms with this, darling.
Sami: Really? Why would you think that? Why, in a million years, would I ever come to terms with the idea of my brother marrying that disgusting woman who wanted my mother dead and probably still does?
Eric: Father matt, this is father Eric. I need to discuss a few issues with you... today--it can't wait.
Bishop white: My son.
Eric: Your excellency.
Bishop white: I can sense that something's wrong. Would you like to talk to me about it?
Brady: Kristen, now, you're shaking. You're shaking. Talk to me. Honey, honey. Hey, hey, hey, hey. Hi.
Brady: Today... is our wedding day. I'm gonna make you my wife, and I love you more than life itself, so... what could you possibly have to worry about?
Kate: Why you think I'm snooping in someone's life.
Lucas: Maybe because you were talking to your personal P.I., Juan Ortiz.
Kate: Okay, okay, fine. I happen to be vetting someone I'm thinking of hiring.
Lucas: Oh, come on, now. If you were hiring somebody, I'd know that. I am the creative director of the company.
Kate: Okay, and I also run the company.
Lucas: Yes, you do. You do a very good job. But what I want to know is, whose life are you trying to run into the ground?
Jordan: Rafe, we have to stick to the schedule here and get started.
Rafe: I'm not looking to change the--
Jordan: I've arranged for an associate therapist to take you out this afternoon.
Rafe: What? Why?
Jordan: Because I know how much you like to get out of the hospital.
Rafe: Yeah, so take me out yourself like you always do. Why am I suddenly being assigned a new therapist for my field trips?
Jordan: Because I have other patients besides you, and they need me too.
Rafe: This is about what happened last night, isn't it?
Jordan: Nothing happened last night.
EJ: Samantha, we've talked about this.
Sami: Yeah. Yeah, and I am getting along with the idea of Brady getting married for Brady's sake. I can't stand the fact that Kristen's actually gonna be his wife. I mean, if I have to find something positive about the whole thing--
EJ: Hallelujah, she found a positive.
Sami: Well, maybe. Not really. The only positive that exists at all would be that Eric has agreed to bless the union. I mean, if that's true and the fact that he goes along with it, that makes me believe that there is a scintilla of hope that it is not the complete and utter disaster that it totally appears to be.
EJ: You have a lot of respect for your brother, don't you?
Sami: Of course. Yes. He is loyal and honest and a good person--my hero.
Eric: Your excellency. It's just that I have a lot of things on my mind--that's all.
Bishop white: As I said, if you want to talk about it...
Eric: I would... after I straighten out a few things of my own.
Bishop white: Understood.
Eric: Well, it's always good to see you. What brings you by here this morning?
Bishop white: My schedule shifted, and since I was in town, I didn't want to miss an opportunity of congratulating you.
Eric: Oh. On?
Bishop white: On the wonderful work you're doing here. St. Luke's is a thriving parish under your guidance, and the archdiocese and I are very proud of you, father Eric.
Kristen: I had a bad dream.
Kristen: But you know how dreams just go right out of your head when you wake up?
Kristen: I couldn't tell you a thing about it. You know what I think it is? It's just wedding jitters.
Brady: How could you possibly have wedding jitters? I mean, aside from the fact that every one of our wedding guests opposes our union?
Brady: Okay, don't joke about it.
Brady: All right, I'm gonna be totally serious with you right now, all right?
Kristen: Should I steel myself?
Brady: No, this is all good. In a short amount of time in the near future, my family and all my friends are gonna see you as the wonderful woman that I see you as.
Kristen: Okay, but what if they don't?
Brady: Their loss. You know what?
Brady: Do me a favor. Get a shower, get dressed, 'cause I'm taking you out for breakfast--big breakfast, with an even bigger surprise...
Brady: That I'm gonna present to you at the end of the breakfast, yeah.
Kristen: Can I have a hint?
Brady: It's your wedding gift.
Kristen: That's not a hint.
Brady: All right, that's not--here's a hint. This is something that you've wanted... as much as I do.
Sonny: So, when you were modeling, did you work regular hours or every day, or how did--
Gabi: No, it was just, uh, three or four times a week, couple hours a day. I mean, it wasn't something mentally challenging, but it was something that I liked, and it was fun.
Sonny: That's good.
Jackie: Sonny, sorry to bother you.
Sonny: What's up, Jackie?
Jackie: The espresso machine is backed up again.
Sonny: [Sighs] All right, I'm on it. Come on, let's fly to mommy. Ooh!
Gabi: Hey, there, cupcake. How are you? Say "bye." Hey. Hey, you know what? Do you know how much your mommy loves you? Yeah? Did you know that while your dad's out there being F. Scott Fitzgerald the next that I'm here, and I'm gonna be the best mommy ever, because that is the most important thing in the world to me.
Kate: And you don't have to be so melodramatic. I'm just trying to get some information on Rafe's physical therapist, Jordan Ridgeway.
Lucas: What? Come on.
Kate: Really? You don't think I'm justified? You don't think that we should know that every person that Rafe comes into contact with at that hospital is legitimate?
Lucas: Because of what Bernardi tried to do to him, right?
Kate: Yes. Obviously, yes.
Lucas: No other reason? You sure?
Kate: Do we need a better reason?
Lucas: I don't know. Just curious--that's all. Does it have anything to do with Rafe's P.T. Being young and female and allergic to kissing your ass?
Kate: Oh. Oh, that's nice. That's really nice. What a rude thing to say.
Lucas: It's the truth, isn't it?
Kate: Why would you say that? Who told you that?
Lucas: You did, mom.
Kate: No, no. I never said she was young and beautiful.
Lucas: Really? 'Cause I never said she was beautiful. Is she beautiful? How beautiful is this woman?
Kate: Oh, my God, that's really not the point, Lucas.
Lucas: I think it is the point.
Kate: I'm responsible for her working with him. I inserted her into his life.
Rafe: Well, something's changed here. The tone of your voice, the fact that you're not looking at me.
Jordan: How many times do I have to say this? I'm your therapist, and you're my patient. There are professional boundaries.
Rafe: You didn't overstep any professional boundaries last night. I'm sure it's totally normal. It happens when two people spend a lot of time together.
Jordan: Rafe, we're not two people. You are my patient.
Rafe: Exactly. And I have spent more time with you in the last three months than I've ever spent with anyone. W-we've talked. I've opened up to you. I've told you things... I mean, what do I know about you? The only thing I know is you walked in here like some robot. Then you finally loosened up, and that had a shelf life of what, seven hours?
Jordan: Well, there isn't much to know.
Rafe: All right. So you have no life outside of work, hmm? Is that it?
Jordan: It's none of your concern.
Rafe: Hmm. Okay. Well, that's too bad, because I really... thought we were starting to become friends. I really did.
Kristen: How long are you gonna go on torturing me?
Brady: I love doing this. You need to be patient.
Kristen: I don't do patient. You know that.
Brady: Well, try.
Kristen: No. So either you tell me what my surprise is, or... I'm gonna be forced to cook for you.
Brady: You would never do that to me.
Kristen: I would do it.
Brady: You love me too much to cook for me.
Hi, honey! [Squeals]
Brady: She's a cutie. We can have that one day, you know.
Kristen: I hope so.
Brady: Well, until that time, and to avoid having any of your burnt grilled cheese sandwiches...
Kristen: Oh, yeah? What?
Brady: I say that with love.
Brady: Here you go.
Kristen: Yeah? Surprise?
Brady: That's it.
Kristen: Okay, it's not jewelry--I know that.
Brady: It's not.
Kristen: Wow. A travel itinerary?
Brady: It's a three-month travel itinerary. And we're gonna go everywhere in the world that you and I have ever talked about going to--everywhere.
Kristen: But, Brady, some of these places are kind of remote. You know, I'm supposed to meet with Roberto in Peru in a few weeks.
Brady: Roberto in Peru is gonna have to wait, 'cause that's postponed. We're going off the grid, baby. We're going where there are no cell phones, no Wi-Fi. It's just us. I wanted to do this for you. And that means you're going away from everyone and everything-- this whole place for a while, even your father. I mean, if you're worried about it, I understand, but--
Kristen: No, I'm in. Are you kidding me? I want to go! I want to go!
Brady: I was hoping you'd say that.
EJ: Look, I know he's a priest, so he gets a lot of leeway... but you put your brother on some high pedestal, Samantha.
Sami: Don't you think he deserves it? I mean, after everything that he has done with his life? I mean, he... he photographed all those terrible things, and then... and then he saw everything. He saw it, and he decided to do something about it. He decided to--I don't know-- help all those people and do God's work. I'm proud to be his twin sister. I mean, a little jealous too.
EJ: Why are you jealous?
Sami: Because let's face it-- he's a better person than I am. Um, EJ, that was the part where you were supposed to say, "that's not true."
EJ: Are you kidding? Samantha, your brother is a better person than you and I will ever be, combined. He is.
Sami: That is not true!
EJ: [Laughing] Yes, it is.
Sami: Take it back! Take it back!
Bishop white: The school is an unqualified success. Your parishioners have enormous respect and admiration for you, and I'm honored to have you here at St. Luke's.
Eric: That's very kind.
Bishop white: Well, it's true. And it makes me, selfishly, want to transfer you somewhere else where you're really needed, where you can... turn things around the way you have here.
Eric: Transfer me. Maybe you should... transfer me, that is.
Bishop white: Do you mean that?
Eric: Sometimes I'm not sure I've handled everything here the way it should be handled. As much as I appreciate being near the family that I love, maybe a fresh start... away from all the distractions at home would be good for me.
Bishop white: Son, uh... you're not rethinking your vocation, are you?
Eric: Your excellency, no. My vocation means everything to me. When I joined the church, it defined who I am... in ways that nothing before it ever had.
Bishop white: I know you found your calling when you were in Africa.
Eric: God tested me during that time, and maybe this is his latest test.
Bishop white: Leaving St. Luke's?
Eric: If I can make more of a difference elsewhere. What is it, your excellency?
Bishop white: I know I said I was tempted to move you somewhere where the need was greater, but... what about the differences you're making right here?
Lucas: Thanks. Okay, wait. Now--now I'm confused here. If you're the one who brought this Jordan woman in to help Rafe, why all of a sudden are you probing into her background? A little bit threatened maybe, mom?
Lucas: Well, you did break it off with Rafe before he was attacked, right?
Lucas: What, you didn't mean it?
Kate: It's not about that, okay? What it's about is that I had a feeling, and I acted on it, and now I am waiting for my private investigator to fill in the blanks about ms. Ridgeway.
Lucas: Okay, and?
Kate: And... according to Mr. Ortiz, Jordan Ridgeway didn't exist several years ago.
Jordan: We're not friends, Rafe. We're therapist and patient-- end of story. I'll be back later.
Rafe: I know we made a connection last night... just like the one we're making now. I'm sorry if that scares you. It scares me a little too. I won't push it. I promise. But don't shut me out. It doesn't have to go back to the way it was.
Jordan: I'll be back.
Bishop white: You're not only fortifying this parish, you're helping new couples start off their married lives with a strong spiritual foundation.
Eric: That's my stepbrother, Brady black, and his fiancée, Kristen DiMera. I'm marrying them today.
Bishop white: Case in point. After the scandal of their relationship threatened to destroy the school, you found a way past it. And now the school is stronger than ever. And you're about to bless their union in the church.
Eric: Mysterious ways. Yes.
Bishop white: I spoke with ms. DiMera at the school opening. She was... not happy at the time, but she and Mr. Black seem to have worked all things out.
Eric: Yes, they have. I must admit--when my brother approached me about having a church wedding, I was... I was a bit reluctant. But when he and Kristen offered to attend pre-cana sessions... I knew that they were serious about this.
Bishop white: Most uplifting when people make that kind of commitment to each other and to their faith. And I'm proud that you were part of the process, Focher.
Eric: Thank you. And you're more than welcome to attend if you plan on staying in Salem for the night.
Bishop white: I am, actually. I do have some business later at holy cross, but if possible, yes. I'll try my best to come back here for the ceremony.
Eric: Well, I would be honored, your excellency, as I'm sure that Kristen and Brady would be too.
Brady: And now there's only one--one more thing I got to do today.
Kristen: Mm, what?
Brady: I got to go talk to Eric. I want to make sure that he's gonna officiate our wedding, because I don't want to find some replacement priest out there at the last minute.
Kristen: Oh, he wouldn't do that.
Brady: I hope not, but I just need to make sure.
Brady: I love you, beautiful. See you later.
Kristen: [Sighs] Dr. Chyka, I need you to come to the mansion A.S.A.P., do you understand me? Because... I just need you to assure me that my life is not gonna totally go up in smoke.
Nick: And now for my next trick... "hey, Gabi. I have something... for you. Can we meet?" Question mark.
Gabi: "Hey, Gabi. I have something for you. Can we meet?" Uh, "I'm at the hospital right now. Can we meet at the Brady pub later?" Yo! Hermano! What's up?
Gabi: What's going on? Are you okay?
Rafe: I'm fine... just frustrated.
Lucas: Just because your guy can't dig up any dirt on Jordan Ridgeway doesn't mean she's bad news. She could've just changed her name or something. A lot of people do that when they want to get a fresh start in life.
Kate: Oh, really? Like who?
Lucas: I don't know. Dwayne "the rock" Johnson, Lucas Horton...
Kate: Oh, you-- agh! You are absolutely impossible, okay? So I'm leaving. Honey, I love you, but...
Lucas: I love you too. Wait a second.
Kate: I will talk to you later.
Lucas: I just want to know one thing. If Jordan's so great with Rafe, if she's really helping him and nobody's complaining about it, why are you borrowing trouble?
Kate: Okay. Everything we needed to discuss is explained in here, all right? And please keep this conversation just between the two of us. Thanks for your support.
Lucas: Hey, I do support you. I just don't want to see you get hurt again--that's all.
Kate: Mommy's a big girl now. I can take care of myself.
Kristen: Apparently... father Eric is remembering what happened to him that night at the capitol plaza hotel. Now, the one bright spot is that he doesn't remember it was me he had sex with. He thinks it was with his secretary.
Dr. Chyka: Well, then you're safe.
Kristen: [Chuckles] What if you're wrong?
Dr. Chyka: But you just said--
Kristen: I just said he thinks he had sex with Nicole, but apparently he is remembering, isn't he? Now, what if he remembers that it was me? What if he remembers that it was me... while he's joining his brother and me in holy mathomony?
Bishop white: Whatever is troubling you, father, I'm here as a sounding board if you need me.
Eric: I'm fine. I really am.
[Knock at door]
Brady: Hey! Oh, uh, sorry.
Eric: No, hey.
Brady: No, I'm interrupting.
Eric: Brady, come on. You remember bishop white.
Brady: Of course. Uh, good to see you, your excellency.
Bishop white: Nice to see you too, Brady. Father Eric's been telling me about your wedding later this afternoon. Blessings to you and your bride-to-be.
Brady: Thank you. We are very happy.
Bishop white: I hope you always will be. We'll speak.
Brady: Talking to the bishop about the wedding, huh? I hope that means you're still willing to perform the ceremony. Are you?
Kate: Hello. Okay, let me guess. You're giving them a blender.
EJ: Uh, no, it's a Rothko lithograph, actually. My sister's a big fan.
Kate: Oh. Of course she is.
EJ: Well, I'll, uh, see you at the wedding.
Kate: Uh, actually... [Chuckles] I think my invitation got lost in the mail.
EJ: Oh, that's a pity.
Kate: Yeah. I'm trying to remember the last time I saw you. I... I remember. It was the night that an innocent member of your family paid for the sins of your father.
EJ: Chad is much better. Thank you. And we are all very fortunate.
Kate: Yes, you are very fortunate. He's a very charming, attractive young man. I'm sure he's going to live a very long life.
EJ: How's your life?
Kate: What do you mean?
EJ: I worry about you-- that's all. I hear that, uh, Rafe is under the spell of a very young, attractive, young therapist.
EJ: Jordan, right?
Kate: Yes. Yes, that's her name.
EJ: That's her name. Hmm. Well, it is a good thing that you're such a confident and secure woman, because anybody else, I'm sure, would be quite nervous with the amount of time that he is spending with this, um... Jordan. Ah. I'll save you a piece of cake.
Rafe: Jordan's the reason that I'm getting through this. And now I feel like I've blown it with her.
Gabi: How could you have blown it, Rafe?
Rafe: Well... she's a very private person. But recently... it seems like she's opened up a little... or at least I thought so. Then last night--
Gabi: Wait. Hold on. Did you bust a move on her?
Rafe: No, I did not bust a move on her. Are you seri--no. We were hanging out. We were laughing. We were talking, having a great time. Then she walks in here this morning, she's got her nose in her tablet, like we never made a connection, like it never happened.
Gabi: Okay, well, maybe you did something to scare her off.
Rafe: I did not do anything to scare her off.
Gabi: Well, obviously you didn't mean to. I mean, maybe it was just a look you gave her or something that you might've said.
Rafe: Well, there was one thing. Well, there was a moment. I looked into her eyes, and... I wanted to protect her.
Eric: Yes. I will marry you and Kristen today.
Brady: Come on. It means... it means a lot to me, man.
Eric: Yeah, but...
Brady: It really does.
Eric: I just want you to know that I'm still bothered... that you and Kristen kept the truth about Nicole's feelings from me.
Brady: I know you are. And I am sorry about it. I really am. But honestly, I... I don't see what the big deal is.
Eric: I know you don't, but I can tell you that it's caused a huge, huge rift between me and Nicole, and I'm not sure I can get past that.
Brady: Well, that's a shame. I thought Nicole had her feelings under control.
Eric: Yeah, well, you thought wrong--she didn't... not at all.
Kristen: [Grunting wildly]
Dr. Chyka: Ms. DiMera, please calm down.
Kristen: Oh! You want me to calm down? You want me to calm down? I'm getting married today. Father Eric is performing the ceremony, Dr. Chyka. Now, wouldn't it just be a tad catastrophic if he flashes on my face when we're in the middle of our vows?
Dr. Chyka: What do you suggest that I do?
Kristen: Oh, I suggest that you make sure that father Eric doesn't remember anything more than he already does, ever. That's what I suggest.
Dr. Chyka: Ms. DiMera, we all know that memories can be faulty, especially drug-induced ones. And while I understand your worries, I think that you're looking for trouble. The priest believes he remembered something and has drawn a conclusion from it. That's the end of it.
Kristen: Oh. You better hope that's the end of it, or it's gonna be the end of you.
Dr. Chyka: Unless...
Kristen: Unless what? Unless what?
Dr. Chyka: Do you suppose this priest is the type of man who might lie in wait and try to trap you?
Rafe: You know, that's really sweet, Rafe, but I don't think that Jordan's that kind of woman.
Rafe: What kind?
Gabi: Well, the kind that needs a man to protect her.
Rafe: I'm not saying she does. I know what kind of woman she is--strong, independence determined. I just hope we can go back to working together again... the way we were... and be friends.
Gabi: Well, I'm sure it's all gonna get worked out, okay? All you have to do is--is do exactly what she says... and try not to scare her off.
Rafe: I'm gonna scare you off right now.
Gabi: Oh, please. I'm shaking. I'm so scared, Rafe Hernandez.
Rafe: Watch out.
Gabi: Yeah, watch out.
Brady: Look, man, again, I'm sorry. I'm sorry for my part in... keeping Cole's feelings from you, but... it's clear from your reaction that you haven't told me everything that's gone down between you and her. So why don't you talk to me about it?
Brady: Eric, come on, this thing is eating you up. Maybe I can help.
Eric: I'll see you at the wedding.
Brady: No, you know what? You know what, man? I don't want you to dismiss me like that. I'm your brother, and I need to know what is going on with you. So why don't you forget about the collar, okay? Forget about the laws, forget about what you're supposed to be feeling, what you're supposed to be thinking, and just talk to your brother. What is going on?
Kristen: Father Eric lying in wait to trap me? [Laughs] You know, I sincerely think that's one of the stupidest things you've ever said. He doesn't have a malicious bone in his body, okay?
Dr. Chyka: Well, if he's such a good person, then why did you take advantage of him?
Kristen: [Sighs] Look, what I did had nothing to do with him and everything to do with getting back at his mother, but I don't want you to think about that. I want you to concentrate on one thing, and that's making sure that Eric doesn't remember he had sex with me and that he thinks he had sex with Nicole. Are we clear?
Dr. Chyka: Yes, I think I can come up with another potion to keep things stable.
Kristen: Well, why didn't you tell me that before?
Dr. Chyka: Because I had to give it some thought.
Kristen: Oh! You had to give it some thought. Okay, well, what is it?
Dr. Chyka: I believe that I can make those vague images father Eric's been having disappear forevermore.
Kristen: Isn't that what I asked you to do from the very beginning? [Sighs]
EJ: Happy wedding day... dear sister. X lily...she pretty much lives in her favorite princess dress.
Sonny: Hey, your son just texted me.
Sami: Yeah? How's he doing?
Son: He is doing great. He said the program's really interesting, and, uh, it's a lot of work. But, uh, he's met some good people, and the weather, of course, is amazing--70 and sunny.
Sonny: He's rubbing it in.
Sami: Oh, please! I am so jealous, I can barely stand it, but he deserves it.
Sami: The truth is, you know, I am... so grateful that things worked out the way that they did for this beautiful girl. If Nick Fallon had had his way and kept her away from us...
Sonny: Yeah, but that's old news at this point.
Sami: Yeah, thank God.
Sami: Thank God Gabi came to her senses, right? She doesn't want to have anything to do with that guy anymore. What?
Sami: Oh, my God. It's not nothing. Your face--your expression totally changed when I said that.
Sonny: No, it didn't.
Sami: Yes, it did. What do you mean? Is something happening? [Whispering] Is Gabi getting back together with Nick?
Sonny: They're not--no, not, like, back together. They just kind of got together, uh...
Sami: Got together?
Sonny: Again briefly.
Sami: Meaning they...
Sonny: Yeah, I mean, they-- --they got together. Apparently, Nick wants her back badly. But I don't think Gabi feels the same way.
Nick: Gabi. What is it?
Gabi: I just got the strangest email.
Jordan: You ready?
Rafe: I am.
Jordan: Good. Uh, we've got a long, hard day ahead of us, but if we get through the protocol, uh, we can maybe take a break for a while. Uh, it's a little chilly out, but I think the light is still great by the water this time of year, so maybe we could take a walk by the pier.
Rafe: I'd like that.
Jordan: Good. Me too.
Brady: Hey, hey, I'm-- I'm sorry if I'm pushing. I don't mean any offense, truly. But this is really bugging me, 'cause this is taking a toll on you. It's obvious. You're a mess, man. What did Nicole do to you? Seriously.
Kristen: Hi, EJ. I didn't know you were there.
EJ: Yeah, I can tell. So... are you ready to walk down the aisle with the man of your dreams?
Kristen: Yes, very much so... but I've got miles to go until then. I've got to go get my hair and my makeup done.
EJ: Just one quick thing.
EJ: How could you... have sex with father Eric?
