Episode #12184 ~ Theresa works to convince Jennifer she slept with Daniel; Chad asks EJ for help.

Provided By Suzanne

EJ: Well...that was quite the milestone.

Sami: Surviving our first night under Stefano's new regime?

EJ: Mmm. Well, the resurrection. The "old regime," I think, would be more accurate. Did you get any sleep?

Sami: Well, I didn't wake up every hour with blood-curdling screams, but I didn't sleep like a baby either.

EJ: Samantha, I just-- I need you to know that I appreciate the sacrifice. I know how difficult this arrangement is for you. It means a great deal to me.

Sami: EJ, stop. I'm sorry...about yesterday. The sacrifice that you made for me... you did the right thing.

[Doorbell rings]

Sami: Oh, hey, will.

Will: Have you people lost your minds?

Abigail: [Crying]

Chad: Hey, hey, hey, what-- what's wrong? Is it your brother?

Abigail: No, it's you. How could you do this to me?

Chad: Abigail, what are you talking about?

Abigail: How could you do this to me? How could you lie and say that you were dying just to get Cameron to back off so that you could sleep with me?

Chad: No, no, it's not what you think it is.

Abigail: I trusted you. Chad, you were my first.

Chad: Abigail, I love you.

Abigail: You don't love me, no--that is not love. That's a lie. I wish you really were dying.

Chad: [Panting] She can never find out.

JJ: What do you know about my dad? Aunt Kayla, this is the first time in my whole life that I've ever thought this. You are lying to me.

Anne: Dr. Brady? Hello? Anybody there?

Kayla: I'm sorry, Anne. I'm sorry, did you say something?

Anne: Yeah, could you tell me why Jennifer Horton isn't at work today, again? God forbid she should be professional, actually call in sick, or whatever the hell her issue is this time. No, no, I get it, I know. "I'm sorry, I'm gonna be late. I have some urgent self-pity to wallow in."

Kayla: You know, I gotta go.

Anne: [Sighs]

Abigail: I figured if we're not going to sleep, then we should eat.

Jennifer: I just can't get these images out of my head every time I close my eyes of your brother alone on the street.

Abigail: I know.

Jennifer: You know what, baby? Can you just try calling him one more time?

Abigail: I did, mom. I tried in the kitchen and I texted. He's not answering me. He hasn't answered anything since yesterday.

Jennifer: Oh, gosh, I don't know how much longer I can stand this. What? What are you thinking?

Abigail: Just that, to complicate things even more, JJ just keeps asking all these questions about dad and aunt Kayla. And, mom, what if JJ doesn't stop asking until he gets an answer?

JJ: Hey.

Rory: What are you all looking for?

JJ: The truth about my dad.

This is upsetting, but you have to trust me.

Will: What are you-- what are you doing? Why are you still living here?

Sami: Well...

EJ: Because I asked her to, William. If you want to blame somebody, you can blame me.

Will: I don't care whose fault it is, I just want one of you two to tell me why are you still living in this house with Stefano DiMera?

Abigail: I love this picture. JJ's smile. Dad looks so proud.

Jennifer: I know. It's great, isn't it?

Abigail: Yeah.

Jennifer: I left a message for Kayla. She should be here soon.

Abigail: Okay.

Jennifer: You know, I think we just need to stop speculating about what we think JJ knows or what he doesn't know.

Abigail: Yeah. I was just thinking that, um... what?

Jennifer: I know that it's been a really long time, you know, since we've really talked about everything that happened with dad years ago. And I know how deeply hurt you were then. I guess I was just wondering if--if you still think about it or if it still upsets you. I mean, I know a lot of time has passed, so maybe it doesn't hurt as bad, but I-- I don't know, baby, just tell me, please. Just talk to me.

JJ: I talked to my sister and my aunt Kayla last night, separately, about my dad, and they both got weird.

Bev: Weird how?

JJ: Weird like they were hiding something from me. What are--what are you doing?

Rory: Well, your dad's book comes out next week. Everybody's talking about him and what a hero he was.

JJ: Yeah, he is. Was. It's just that, man. No, this can't be true. Whether they go to the next page...

Sonny: Like this?

Gabi: [Laughs] Perfect.

Sonny: Okay, I think I got it.

Gabi: Yeah?

Sonny: I got it.

Gabi: Yeah, she needs her tummy time. She has to build those muscles. She's on her back sleeping all the time. Right? Right?

Sonny: That's right.

Gabi: You gonna be rolling around like crazy Ari? It's gonna be fun, right?

Sonny: All right, let's do this.

Gabi: All right, let's do this.

Sonny: Let's see what you got. Come here.

[Cell phone rings]

Gabi: Oh...

[Phone continues ringing]

Sonny: Is that Nick?

Nick: Come on, Gabi, pick up.

Sami: EJ, my son and I are gonna have a little chat.

Will: No.

Sami: Come on. Come on.

Chad: Did I hear will's voice?

EJ: Yes.

Chad: Where is he?

EJ: He is next door having a little heart-to-heart with his mother.

Chad: Ah, got it. So I'm thinking maybe you and I should do the same thing.

Theresa: Ready to work... on making little jenny Horton's miserable life a little bit more miserable.

Anne: Well, it's a noble ambition.

Theresa: Well, after what the spiteful phony did to me? Trying to take me out, send me home, get me locked up, and completely underestimating me, she's going down. And I'm going to have a marvelous time doing the honors.

Anne: Well, it isn't gonna happen today, my dear, because our lazy little Jennifer took yet another personal morning off. I mean, can you believe that management is just either totally oblivious or too afraid to chastise her because she is the late doctor tom Horton's granddaughter, and therefore, somehow, she's entitled to everyone's unflagging respect? Not to mention she treats her job like it is a lame-ass hobby. I'll tell you something, if I was late one second one day, I'd be out on my ass so fast.

Theresa: Well, I did plan on using r absence to our advantage.

Anne: How?

Theresa: Going to go work on Dr. Dan.

Anne: [Chuckles] You're going to work on him?

Theresa: Mm-hmm.

Anne: What is that euphemism for, Theresa the terrible?

Theresa: Use your imagination.

Anne: Okay. All right, here we go. Oh, yeah. Yes, I have some very interesting images rolling around up here. There's an X-rated one, an NC-17 thrown in there, and here--

Theresa: Okay, well, even if it is all pg between me and the good doctor, I know how to get his attention, if you catch my drift.

Anne: Oh, I have no doubt.

Theresa: Just imagine how hurt sweet little jenny will be when she finds out that one of her two guys-- namely, her hunky ex-boyfriend-- was being naughty with me.

Anne: Yeah, well, you go, girl. You bat those eyes, and you shake that booty.

Theresa: [Chuckles]

Jennifer: I just feel like it was such a long time ago... that dad and I talked to you about everything that happened, you know?

Abigail: Yeah.

Jennifer: And your dad's attack on Kayla was... we just didn't want you to hear it from the wrong people. It was the biggest regret of your father's life. And I remember that conversation so clearly. He was--he was so honest and so remorseful. You know what, baby? Your dad was at his best talking about what he did at his worst.

Abigail: Yeah, he was.

Jennifer: And he took full responsibility. Really. And I remember him sharing with you how he wanted to make amends to all of the people that he hurt. But I am telling you he lived with that all the time-- the guilt.

Abigail: Well, aunt Kayla lives with it all the time too.

Jennifer: Oh, baby, I know. I--I do. And your dad and I really felt that you and JJ deserved to know the truth, so when we thought you were old enough, we-- but your dad was killed before we got a chance to tell JJ.

Abigail: I know. I just wish JJ had found out the way I did. You know, from you and dad. Because-- oh, God, mom, if JJ finds out the wrong way, I just don't know how he's gonna deal with it.

JJ: I've been searching through the archived issues of the Salem spectator, trying to find stuff on my dad.

Rory: And?

JJ: There's-- there's tons of articles about, you know, the release of his book... how he died, or what happened to him in Afghanistan, once he came back home. But they haven't digitized any of the older stuff yet.

Rory: That's weird.

Bev: Well, it's a local paper. What to you expect?

JJ: It' frustrating.

Bev: Okay, so we could go to the library and get that microfilm stuff. You know, go old school.

JJ: Already checked. They sent it all off to the paper for digitization. But no one can tell me how much longer that's gonna take.

Rory: Dead end, then.

JJ: You know, if my dad was alive, I'd just ask him.

Bev: What about asking your aunt again?

Rory: Forget the aunt. Your sister. I could give it a try.

Bev: Oh, could you be any more obvious?

JJ: All right, you know what? No one is talking to my aunt Kayla or my sister, okay? They're already on high alert about me, and if they figure out that I'm digging for information, they'll just figure a way to block me out.

Bev: Why? What bad thing are they covering up about your dad?

JJ: Well, obviously, I don't know, Bev. But they got to everyone to help keep me living on the street. You'd put it past 'em? It's like, how can I defend my dad against something when I don't even know what that something is?

Rory: You do know that it has to do with your aunt, though, right?

JJ: Yeah.

Bev: Hey, if your aunt knows, your mom knows.

JJ: Okay, yeah.

Bev: So I know you're, like, super pissed at her and avoiding her like crazy, but what if you just flat out asked your mom to tell you what the hell the deal was?

Sonny: Who's the strongest, best girl in the whole wide world?

[Cell phone ringing]

Sonny: Ah! Ah!

Gabi: Hey.

Sonny: Arianna grace is!

Gabi: Hi.

Nick: Hey, Gabi, it's me, Nick. I would really love to see you today, wherever, whenever. I'm pretty free. So just give me a call whenever you get a chance. I'd love to see Arianna too, if she's with you. Um, so yeah, that's it. Gimme a call. Bye. L.A. and the New York modeling agencies are going to eat this up. Maybe even Milan. Maybe Milan. Just throwing it out there. Basically anywhere but here. The further we are from Salem the better.

Marge: I will not let you get away with this.

Will: Okay first of all, the fact that we are even having this conversation in Stefano's living room, when we all know that he sent Bernardi to kill Rafe, he tried to send you to prison for the rest of your life--

Sami: Stefano is a madman, okay? We all know that. And we will never understand why he does the things that he does.

Will: Exactly. Why are you living in his house then?

Sami: Because to me, it's EJ's house. And I am in love with EJ.

Will: Okay. Okay, then...answer me this. When you wake up every morning, and you go down to breakfast, do you look across the table of croissants at Stefano and feel forgiveness in your soul for-- after everything that he's done for you, and the people...

Sami: Of course not.

Will: Okay, then do you forget that he tried to kill your ex-husband? I'm just saying. Listen to me. Do you not think that holding a grudge here is completely appropriate?

Chad: And then, after she told me she wished I actually

was dying, I woke up. I'm terrified that Abigail can find out that I've been lying to if the truth ever came out, EJ-- if Abigail ever heard that I've been lying about being sick, she'd never forgive me. And that's something I couldn't live with because... I think I'm in love with her.

EJ: Well... [Exhales] Then we're just gonna have to make sure the truth doesn't come out.

Theresa: Oh, I touched more than a nerve when I told her the specifics about Dr. Dan's apartment decor.

Anne: Well, Jennifer doesn't really think you and Dr. Jonas are doing it, does she?

Theresa: No, but I put the worm in her ear. And I intend to keep it there. So where is he, do you know?

Anne: He's in surgery. God, he even looks hot in those ugly green schmatas, right?

Theresa: Oh, yeah, it's definitely his color.. when's he get out of there, do you know?

Anne: Theresa, surgery is like a bad dinner party. Just when you think you can make your escape, some nudNick opens their mouth, and now you're stuck listening to some boring, endless anecdote. In surgery, you sew someone up and something else pops open. Stuff's flying--

Theresa: Eww, ehh ehh ehh eh! I really--okay don't need to hear about it, Anne. Damn that Dr. Dan is busy today.

Anne: Oh, it's fine. Listen, you're gonna get your chance to make a move on this guy--this is perfect. Gives us time plot our next move. You have any ideas?

Theresa: Uh, actually I do have one. [Chuckles]

JJ: I can't trust my mom to tell me he truth.

Rory: Maybe you can, JJ. You should give her a call and just ask.

Bev: Yeah, JJ, she's your mom. Come on.

JJ: You know what? My mom has no idea who I am anymore. She's out.

Bev: Okay, well, then you should try some other newspapers or magazines. You know, something a little more 21st century.

JJ: You know, I just found out a way to find out what my dad did.

Bev: What? How? Bye.

Chad: I know, I dug my own grave, so to speak, and the more I think about it, the more I realize that I may not be able to pull this off.

EJ: Well, I've already helped you.

Chad: How?

EJ: By persuading you to live here.

Chad: Persuading me?

EJ: Yes. While you are under this roof, Chad, deception is an art form, and it'll be a lot easier for you to pull off the logistics of your lie.

Sami: No, it's not okay what Stefano tried to do to Rafe. It's really not okay that he was willing to have me go to prison for murder when he knew all I did was save Rafe's life. But EJ made the ultimate sacrifice for me. And that's why we're having this conversation here and not some prison visiting room.

Will: What did he give up?

Sami: Everything. Will, he gave up everything that he had been working so hard for. And he made and has to fulfill a ton of promises. Otherwise, I would have spent the rest of my live in prison. So you do not get to sit in judgment of him or us!

Will: I'm not. I'm sorry. Um, one of those promises, was it that you have to live here? Okay, mom, that is--

Sami: Necessary. It's not ideal, but it's a tradeoff I made, and I would make it again. Now, please, you have to understand that no one can know about this, okay? Not a soul.

Will: Okay. Are you prepared to live like this?

Sami: Yeah. I can handle it. And I really believe your sisters and your brother will be okay. Their innocence and their open hearts will protect them from Stefano's impact. And the bottom line is if I were in prison, I wouldn't have a say in it anyway.

Will: That's right. I mean, do you hate it as much as I do, though?

Sami: More. No one hates this or that man as much as I do.

Theresa: Would you happen to know someone who might have access to the doctors' lockers?

Anne: I might. Why?

Theresa: Come on. Inside of Daniel Jonas' locker, there's something of interest, and I'd like to get my hot little hands on it while he's M.I.A.

Anne: Well, he's not M.I.A, he's in the O.R. but he could be O.U.T. Any minute.

Theresa: Well, then, we'll have to hurry, won't we?

[Whispers inaudibly]

Anne: Oh, impossible. Unethical, illegal. If I were caught, I'd-- but this is me we're talking about.

Theresa: Mm-hmm.

Anne: Chutzpah to burn, right?

Theresa: Yeah, you go, girlfriend.

Anne: Okay.

Theresa: Burn that chutzpah

Jennifer: The timing is awful, honey, you're right.

Abigail: It couldn't be worse.

Jennifer: For your brother to find out the truth about his father right now, when he is so vulnerable and so angry... I don't know, maybe we're getting ahead of ourselves. You know, we-- we don't really know what he knows. We have no idea.

Abigail: Either way, mom, all we can do is just be there for him. You know, just to help him through this, right?

Jennifer: Yeah, right.

Abigail: I just wish we knew where he was. I hate the thought of him out there just raging about this all alone.

[Doorbell rings]

Adrienne: Oh, JJ. What a nice surprise.

JJ: Hey, aunt Adrienne.

Adrienne: Uh, if you're looking for your uncle Justin, he's in court. You must want to talk to him about your hearing...

JJ: Oh, no, no, no, no. I came to see you.

[Cell phone ringing]

Gabi: It's Nick. He keeps leaving me voice mails.

Sonny: I figured.

Gabi: I can't avoid him forever. I should just tell him.

Sonny: What, that there's no future?

Gabi: Yeah. I mean, I don't want to hurt his feelings, just... I don't want to be a jerk.

Sonny: Well, I mean, what if he were to, like, see you on a date with Cameron at Oktoberfest or something, you know?

Gabi: Okay, okay, I know.

Sonny: I'm just saying that I think that you should tell him the truth now, 'cause that's gonna hurt his feelings if he sees it.

Gabi: I know, I know. It's just hard, you know? [Sighs] He wants to see me.

Sonny: Well, maybe you should go see him. I'm sure he's gonna blame everything on me and will no matter what you say. That'll help.

Gabi: Well, I won't let that happen.

Sonny: I know. You had a very complicated relationship.

Gabi: Yeah. And then I re-complicated everything by getting involved again after everything that happened.

Sonny: You gotta realize that relationships are not black and white...like, ever.

Gabi: [Sighs] But I do care about Nick. I just have to find a way to tell him that it's over. Let him down easy.

Nick: [Clicks tongue] Boom! [Imitates gun firing] Done and done. Well, now that I've basically guaranteed Gabi a job, I should-- I should probably get a job for myself. That'd be smart. Gotta pull your weight, Nick.

Will: Okay... listen, I know that a deal had to be made, and believe me, I'm the happiest person alive that you're out of prison. But now that everything's said and done, and you're cleared, does EJ really have to honor his promise to Stefano? I mean, can't we kind of--

Sami: I can't get into the specifics, okay? But you have to understand that we don't have a choice. Listen, if Sonny had done something like this for you, would you walk away from him just because things didn't turn out exactly as you'd pictured them?

Will: Hmm...no, no.

Sami: Right.

Will: Yeah.

Sami: Right answer. You understand? I have to do this. And you don't have to like it, but you do have to-- at least I hope you will accept it. I need to be here for EJ. I love him... for better or worse.

Will: Okay.

Sami: And I love you.

Will: Love you.

EJ: Very good. Thank you.

Chad: Well?

EJ: It's handled. The medical records have been authenticated.

Chad: Wow, how did you do that?

EJ: Oh, you don't want to know. Just know that they will now fully illustrate your treatments and your recovery going forward. And that is the truth in so far as anybody who inquires will know.

Chad: Well, look, I know that this is a normal day at the office for you, EJ, but thank you. Seriously.

EJ: Come here, you're welcome.

Chad: But I don't like the idea of lying to Abigail forever, though, all right?

EJ: Chad, take it from me. There is never a good time to tell your girlfriend that you lied to her ex-boyfriend about a brain tumor.

Chad: Yeah, you're probably right about that.

EJ: You say you love this girl?

Chad: I do, yeah.

EJ: Okay. Not living in truth is a small sacrifice to make sure you keep the person you love.

Abigail: Aunt Kayla...hi.

Kayla: Hi, Abigail.

Abigail: Mom, um, why don't I go to the hospital and get that paperwork that you wanted from your office.

Jennifer: Yeah. Thank you. I appreciate that. I'm really sorry. Don't take that personally. We were just talking about the past--it's just fresh...

Kayla: I understand. I understand. I do.

Jennifer: So can you tell me what happened?

Kayla: I went to the park to find JJ. You know, to convince him to come back here and work things out with you.

Jennifer: Yeah. No luck, obviously.

Kayla: No. He just sort of turned on Daniel. You know, he just started saying all these things about him, these untruths and-- and then we talked about Jack and--

Jennifer: I know. And he held Jack up to Daniel, saying that his dad was the best man he's ever known.

Kayla: I don't know what happened. It just sort of came out of my mouth before I even heard it.

Jennifer: What? What did you say? Wh--

Kayla: I just said that-- that Jack wasn't perfect, and... his father was no saint.

Jennifer: Kayla, what--

Kayla: I don't know why I said it. I don't know what came over me. Honestly, I don't. I mean...I don't know, maybe it's still alive for me. Then he started talking about Daniel, and I...I don't know.

Jennifer: No, I understand why you said it, I do.

Kayla: No. No, no, no. You know what? It was wrong. I wish I could take it back. JJ started asking me all these details, and I didn't say another thing, I just left.

Jennifer: Right. And that's why he went to his sister and asked what you meant.

Kate: She didn't say anything either, did she?

Jennifer: No, she didn't say anything, but, Kayla, I know my son. He's not gonna let this go.

Adrienne: JJ, I know you've been asking around for a place to stay, and I want to be up front with you. You can't stay here. You really need to go home and mend your fences with your mother. Oh, honey, we all love you very much, and we're all very upset about all this.

JJ: Yeah, yeah, I mean, I know all that. And I'm actually seeing everyone else's side of it.

Adrienne: Good. Good.

JJ: And I've been thinking about this lately, and I really want to go home. And I'm so appreciative of what uncle Justin has done for me. Wow, so much. I want a fresh start, and maybe I can have one.

Adrienne: Oh, honey, that's so great. I'm so proud of you. Come on, why don't you make yourself comfortable. I'll make you a celebratory sandwich. Ham and cheese, right?

JJ: Yeah. Yeah.

Adrienne: Perfect. Okay.

JJ: Hey, aunt Adrienne...

Adrienne: Yeah?

JJ: There's this other thing that went down. It's kinda thrown me off.

Adrienne: What is it?

JJ: Well, I just-- I really have to deal with it before I go back home.

Adrienne: Tell me. Can I help."

JJ: Well, I really hope so. 3q septic system breakdowns affect over 1 million homes a year,

Sami: I'm so glad you understand.

[Knock on door]

Will: Hello. Um, listen, I-- I now know, you know, what sacrifices you made for mom. Because of you, she's out of jail. So I just want to say just thank you very much.

EJ: Having your mother home with us is worth any cost.

Will: Thanks. And hopefully, maybe one day he will pay for all the people he's hurt. Anyway, bye. Okay, see ya.

EJ: Mrs. DiMera-to-be...

Sami: [Chuckles]

EJ: You and I need to get some fresh air.

Sami: Sounds wonderful... Mr. DiMera.

Chad: You're gonna need some I.D. Before I can serve that little lady.

Sonny: Cute joke.

Chad: Yeah. No, seriously, Sonny, it's not every guy who can get away with bringing his adopted daughter to a bar.

Sonny: Yeah, well, I have daddy's approval, and he's gonna be meeting us after he, uh, handles something.

Chad: Yeah, I saw him at the house. He was really in Sami's face about something

Sonny: Well, you know will and his mom, they'll work it out.

Chad: Yeah.

Sonny: And today must be the day for people telling it like it is.

Chad: Really?

Sonny: Mm-hmm.

Chad: Who else?

Sonny: Gabi. She's meeting with Nick right now to give him a little dose of the truth.

Nick: Gabi, I have amazing news for you. I booked you a modeling gig.

Gabi: What?

Nick: Yeah. The deal's-- the deal's closed.

Gabi: That's incredible, Nick.

Nick: I know, isn't it amazing? I mean, between your job and my job, we're gonna have enough money to give Arianna such a good life, the way it was always supposed to be.

Gabi: I can't believe that you did this. I mean, you're amazing. You know, I never stopped loving you.

Nick: Really?

Gabi: Ever.

Nick: Never?

Gabi: Sorry.

Woman: No problem.

Nick: Hey, thanks for-- for meeting me.

Theresa: I--I don't know. I guess you just fill this in here and then take it to H.R.

Nurse: I thought you worked in H.R.

Theresa: Yeah, whatever. You are a genius.

Anne: Tell me something I don't know.

Theresa: Well, it's in good hands.

Anne: Wait, where are you going?

Theresa: Oh, I have to see if jenny came in to work. Plus, I have paperwork to do... among other things. Oh...hi. I thought your mom was here.

Abigail: Theresa, what the hell are you doing here? What reason could you possibly have for sneaking into my mother's office alone?

Theresa: I have some H.R. forms I have to give to her.

Abigail: Well, she's not here.

Theresa: I see that. I bet she's a wreck, huh?

Abigail: What?

Theresa: About your brother going off the rails. How is JJ doing?

JJ: So you haven't talked to anyone in the family? Mom? Abigail?

Adrienne: No. Why?

JJ: Uh, my dad's book comes out next week.

Adrienne: Wow. I'm so proud of him for this. I only wish he was here to see it. I don't understand. What does this have to do with what's going on with your mom and you?

Jennifer: Can we just keep this between us? Because I really need to find my son. And if today is the day that he has to find out the truth... then so be it because I have failed my son so many times, Kayla. And I can't-- can't do it again.

JJ: With his book coming out, everyone's been talking about dad and his past. But not just about his time in Afghanistan, but everything about him. Everything-- everything he did.

Nick: There you go. All right, Gabi, you-- you're not gonna believe this. I have so much to tell you. Basic--

Gabi: Okay, um, before you say anything, I actually have to talk to you about something important.

Sonny: I would-- I would let JJ stay on the couch. I just don't want to rock the boat with me and Gabi and will. You know? 'Cause everything's going pretty good at home.

Chad: Yeah, I hear ya. And I'd let JJ stay at the mansion, but I basically don't think anyone should stay there unless they're forced to.

Sonny: Are you kidding me?

Chad: No, not really. Better get back to work.

Sonny: All right.

Will: Hey.

Sonny: Hey. Chad was just telling me that you had a spirited discussion with your mom. You find out anything?

Will: Um, no, not really. Just that, that she loves EJ and will do anything for him. Which is kind of how I feel about you, I suppose. [Chuckles]

Sami: [Chuckles]

Marge: Murderer.

Abigail: This is your last warning on the subject, Theresa. Leave my brother alone. He doesn't need you today.

Theresa: Today? What's today? Is he being arraigned on drug charges? Seriously, what's so special about today?

Bev: Oh, I heard about this. [Chuckles]

Jennifer: I need to see my son. Can you please tell me where he is?

JJ: Aunt Adrienne, are you-- is something wrong? Are you okay?

Adrienne: Uh, well, you know, your dad was always on adventures. And, well, you knew that. And you know, you probably know that that wasn't always the best plan. It was very hard on your mother... and you kids too.

JJ: I wasn't really talking about that stuff. It's that other thing. The thing that happened with aunt Kayla.
