Episode #12176 ~ Eric opens up to Father Matt about his dreams; Theresa goes to Caroline for help.

Provided By Suzanne

Jennifer: What are you talking about?

Theresa: I can help you get your son back.

Jennifer: Why would you do anything for me?

Theresa: That's not the question. The question is do you want JJ to come home?

Jennifer: How on earth are you supposed to make that happen?

Theresa: Trust me, I can. Look, JJ listens to me, so I'll have him a move back in voluntarily and I'll get him to work things out with you, but first you have to get me my job back. Deal?

JJ: There's lots to drink.

Bev: Some of these DVDs are cool.

Rory: Yeah. It's too bad Dr. Dan's not going to stay away for a whole month. I could learn to like this place.

Bev: [Laughs]

Daniel: Zip! Boom!

Parker: [Laughs]

Daniel: Yeah? What do you think of daddy's hotel room, huh? Yeah, this is where I'm gonna stay while you and your mom--

[Knock on door]

Daniel: Uh-oh. Who's that?

Chloe: Hey stranger.

Daniel: Hey.

Chloe: It's been a while.

Victor: Abigail.

Abigail: Mr. Kiriakis, hi. It's good to see you.

Victor: It's good to see you too. Let me get right to the point. Your mother is making some very bad decisions. She needs help.

Abigail: Okay. Well, there's been some rough times right now at home--

Victor: I know all about your brother, but pushing Daniel away is not the answer. It's not gonna help your mother. It's not gonna help JJ. It's certainly not gonna help my godson. But now, I know she listens to you. So what you can do--

Nicole: Oh, Victor, please leave this girl alone.

Kristen: Kristen? Hey, hey, what is it? What's wrong?

Marlena: Can you describe her to me? What color hair does she have? Eric, who is she? Who is she?

Eric: Blonde.

Marlena: Okay. She's a woman with blonde hair. Do you know her? Eric, try to see her face.

Kristen: I don't understand. Something's happening.

Brady: What? What?

Kristen: Something horrible..

Chloe: Oh, my God, my big boy! Money has missed you so much. Oh, sorry I'm squeezing you so hard. [Gasps] You're so big. Oh, it always seems like it's so long.

Daniel: I know. I know.

Chloe: Ooh. [Growls]

Parker: [Laughs]

Chloe: So, you're my big man. [Gasps] Are you ready for our very first sleepover?

Daniel: Oh, my gosh. He's been talking about it for a week.

Chloe: [Laughs]

Daniel: And you know, I don't have any early appointments, so you can bring him back here anytime tomorrow morning. So--yeah. And park, come on, kid. Why don't you go over there-- come here. Ready? And go get your bag.

Chloe: [Laughs]

Daniel: And don't forget f that little bear, okay? Over to that bag right there, kid. Go see if you can get it. Find that bear.

Chloe: [Sighs] Um--

Daniel: He's--he's psyched. [Laughs]

Chloe: Um, Daniel, there's something that I have to tell you.

Theresa: I'll have your son move back home day one, guaranteed. Day two, I'll have him making huge attitude adjustments, but you have to do your part too, okay? You have to fix it so that I get rehired. And then we'll just pretend like this whole thing never happened, and Jen, I promise this time, I'll really work hard, okay?

Jennifer: You can stop.

Theresa: I'll throw myself completely into--

Jennifer: Right now, stop.

Theresa: But--sorry.

Jennifer: Stop talking. And the answer is no. You can leave.

Theresa: [Scoffs]

Eric: I can't see her face. I'm trying. I need to know why she's in my-- my dream, my mind.

Marlena: It's ok. We'll focus on something else. We'll come back to the woman later.

Eric: [Sniffles] No. No, this is a bad idea.

Marlena: Are you all right?

Eric: Mom, I'm a long way from being all right. What did I say what I was under?

Marlena: You said there was a woman in the room and that she was a blonde.

Eric: Are you sure that's all?

Marlena: I asked you if you thought you knew her, and you nodded. Eric, what else did you remember?

Brady: Kristen, hey, hey, hey. Listen to me. It was--it was just a feeling.

Kristen: [Gasps]

Brady: No, no, no. Listen, there's nothing to worry about. I've known you for a long time. I've never known you to be clairvoyant.

Kristen: [Scoffs] I know. I don't think I am. I don't know. Whatever it was, it was very strong-- very strong feeling. It was like...

Brady: Honey?

Kristen: Somebody walking on my grave.

Theresa: God! You are impossible. I mean I know you had it out for me, like you hated me from day one, but--

Jennifer: No, Theresa. I gave you every single chance.

Theresa: Oh, my God, but no, I'm telling you I can get you your son back, and you're just telling me to take a hike?

Jennifer: Yes, I am. Right now as a matter of fact.

Theresa: [Scoffs] You know what? You are just like my parents. Whenever they had a chance to make the wrong move, they made it in spades. And you know what the sad part is? I like JJ. I really do. He is--he's cute and he's got that whole cool-guy thing going for him, lots of energy and smarts. But what he doesn't have is a mom who knows what the hell she's doing, and she doesn't even care that she doesn't know. I--I feel sorry for both of you.

Jennifer: [Sighs]

Rory: Yo, check this out. We could unload this anywhere. We can get at least a bill.

JJ: Hey, dude, no. Put that back, man.

Bev: What's up, JJ? You hate Dr. Dan. Why not let Rory rip him off for a little extra spending cash?

JJ: Because his kid would know that it was missing right away. I don't want to do that, man. I don't want--I don't want parker getting upset. He's just--he's really into his video games, and he'd probably cry or something.

Rory: So you're all gooey about that little boy?

JJ: No, just use your head, dude. If the kid misses it, then Daniel knows he's been robbed. And then he calls the cops. Do you want to get arrested for something else?

Rory: No.

Bev: No.

JJ: Okay, then.

Bev: Yeah, JJ's right. We really need to be careful. Okay, we can't take any of his stuff or drink any of his booze.

JJ: Rory.

Bev: It would just be stupid, asking for trouble.

Rory: [Sighs] Fine. So can we get high or something?

Bev: Yes.

Chloe: Daniel it-- it's important for me to say... thank you. You know, after all the things that I did to you and Jennifer, and for you to give me this new beginning. We both know you didn't have to, so thank you.

Daniel: Hey, well, Chloe, you got help. You weren't seeing things realistically. Now you are. I know how much you love parker.

Chloe: More than anything. And, uh, this program-- my therapy, it's-- it's done wonders for me. It's been great.

Daniel: Good.

Chloe: You know, there's no denying that I loved you, of course, but trying to hold on to you when it was wrong for both of us--

Daniel: Okay, it--it's done. You don't--

Chloe: No, it--it is, but I want you to know that I've finally learned that even if you do love someone, there is a time to let go.

Victor: Just butt out, Nicole. This is a private conversation.

Nicole: Abigail, he's just gonna give you some long-winded spiel and try to get you to do what he wants you to do. Just please, feel free to walk away whenever you want.

Abigail: No, no. Actually, it's okay. I agreed with Mr. Kiriakis. My mom should be with Daniel. He is a great guy, and they were great together. But mom says that it's best if Daniel stays away, and-- and Daniel says the same thing. So--

Victor: That's because they're being stupid.

Nicole: Oh. Stupid is Mr. Kiriakis' specialty.

Victor: Zip it, Nicole.

Abigail: Okay. I could try to talk to Daniel. Maybe he would listen.

Victor: Good, do it. Do--tonight. It's very important.

Abigail: Okay. Yeah. Well, it's--it's not too late. I'll go over there right now.

Victor: Excellent. Let me know what he says.

Abigail: Of course. Okay, good night.

Victor: Good night.

Nicole: Bye.

Victor: [Sighs] Any more smart remarks?

Nicole: Anyone else's love life you want to interfere with? Night's young.

Brady: Hey, hey. It's nothing. Nothing. Don't worry. I'm real. You're real. Our love is real, okay?

Kristen: I was just so scared.

Brady: Of what?

Kristen: Brady, no matter how much you and I love each other, something's gonna come along and destroy it.

Brady: Uh-uh. No. No way. Not ever.

Eric: I don't remember anything.

Marlena: Eric, of course you do.

Eric: No, in hypnosis, any kind of suggestion could be interpreted as a memory.

Marlena: Not necessarily true.

Eric: I must have been imagining things and thinking they must have been a memory.

Marlena: Let's talk about the things that we think we know.

Eric: I know nothing.

Marlena: You remembered there was a woman in the room. That's entirely possible. And if she were there, that would be very upsetting to you. Now, there are lots of reasons for that, Eric, but let's remember what the doctor said. Daniel said he thought you'd been poisoned. Maybe this woman poisoned you. Maybe she hurt you. What do you think?

Eric: Nothing. I don't want to talk about this anymore.

Marlena: Honey, I'm trying to help you get to the bottom--

Eric: No, mom, I don't need your help. The subject is closed. It's done.

Marlena: Eric, what are you hiding?

Victor: You sure you're not looking at another shot to snag yourself a doctor?

Nicole: Oh, please. Would you just delete that from your file? I just want Daniel to be happy always with the woman he was destined to love. Jennifer.

Victor: [Sighs]

Nicole: Now what?

Victor: You know, you're still the same pathetic romantic that you always were. Now you think everybody's got the perfect soul mate just waiting for them out there somewhere. And you, of course, are gonna find yours. What a crock!

Nicole: You have the longest string of failed relationships in human history. And then you found Maggie. Why can't I hope that something like that would happen to me?

Daniel: Um, Chloe, you know what? Try not to look back 'cause you have a whole lot goin' on for you. You know, one of these days, you will meet someone who's right for you, and you'll build a-- you know, a whole new life.

Chloe: Maybe. What about you and Jennifer? Have you guys set a date?

Daniel: Okay, let's not talk about personal stuff, okay? I just--

Chloe: Okay, sorry. I--

Daniel: Okay.

Chloe: I-- it's just a little weird. Since I got here, you haven't really mentioned Jennifer's name once. There's nothing wrong, is there?

Jennifer: Please tell me you didn't come here to talk me out of firing Theresa.

Kayla: No. No, it's--it's final. I'll do the paperwork in the morning.

Jennifer: Thanks. I guess we should possibly talk about pressing charges.

Kayla: Pressing charges?

Jennifer: Kayla, I caught her embezzling hospital funds.

Kayla: What?

Jennifer: Yes. She signed her name. She issued herself a check from my discretionary account.

Kayla: Oh, my God.

Jennifer: Of course, she didn't mention that to you, did she?

Kayla: This just keeps getting worse.

Jennifer: All right, listen. Technically, she didn't steal because she didn't cash the check. Okay? And she was so desperate to keep her job that maybe firing her was punishment enough.

Kayla: Oh, well, going back to L.A., she's gonna face punishment, all right.

Rory: I'm feelin' like some rap.

Bev: Oh, no. Come on. It's so boring. [Scoffs]

[Knocking on door]

Abigail: Daniel, are you home?

Kristen: I don't know how you do it, but you always make me feel better. I wish we could just bottle whatever it is to give me so I can take it with me wherever I go.

Brady: Well, you have it. It's right here. You always have my love with you.

Kristen: You have mine too.

[Cell phone buzzing]

Brady: Oh, no.

Kristen: It's okay. Go get it.

Brady: No, not now. I don't want to.

Kristen: Yes! It could be Eric about the pre-cana meeting we have tomorrow. Maybe he's setting it up.

Brady: All right. Nope, it's work, and I can handle that from-- no, damn it.

Kristen: What?

Brady: To handle this, I have to get something from the house.

Kristen: That's okay. That's okay. I'm better now. You go do that, and then I'll check with Eric about the sessions.

Brady: You don't have to.

Kristen: Oh, I know I don't have to. Believe me, I know.

Brady: [Laughs]

Kristen: But I want to because as soon as we get this pre-cana stuff out of the way, the sooner we can set a date. And if you haven't noticed, I can't wait.

Brady: I haven't noticed. Double that for me.

Eric: Hiding anything, mother. It's about--you remember-- you remember when you said if I didn't recover my memories, they could disappear very soon?

Marlena: Yes, Eric, but that--

Eric: I think they're gone. I think the things that I seem to remember while I was hypnosis is--it's fake. I shouldn't have agreed to do this at all.

Marlena: Oh, I--

Father Matt: Oh, sorry to interrupt.

Eric: No, father Matt. You are not interrupting. Actually, I need to speak to you alone. My mother was actually about to leave. I'll talk to you tomorrow, okay?

Marlena: Sure. My phone's always on.

Eric: Thank you.

Father Matt: Nice seeing you, Marlena.

Marlena: Father, so good to see you.

Eric: We--we were just finishing up our first hypnosis session.

Father Matt: Oh, did you remember anything?

Eric: You know, it's too bizarre. It actually can't be true.

Abigail: Daniel, I really need to talk to you. It's about mom, Daniel. She needs you. She's miserable. If you're there, would you just open the door?

If you're looking for Dr. Jonas, he and his little boy went on a trip.

Abigail: Oh, really? That's weird. I could've sworn I heard voices when I got off the elevator.

Maybe someone leaving a message on his answering machine?

Abigail: Yeah, maybe. Thank you. Huh.

JJ: Oh, that was too close.

Daniel: Um, let--let's try to concentrate on parker, right? That's why we're here.

Chloe: Yeah, I just assumed you and Jennifer, that that was a topic that's not really off limits.

Daniel: Uh-- you know what? Parker, what you--what are you eyeballin' over there, kid? What's goin' on? What is this?

Parker: [Laughs]

Daniel: What is this?

Parker: It's a present.

Daniel: It's a present? Well, it doesn't look like the bear, and it certainly doesn't look like your overnight bag. What--what have--what have we got going on here?

Parker: [Laughs]

Daniel: A game?

Parker: Yes, this is a game.

Daniel: [Gasps] It's a game.

Chloe: Oh, um, honey, yeah. We can--we can play this game, but you have to wait until we get to mommy's place, all right?

Daniel: Actually, parker thinks it's best if three people play.

Chloe: Really? You like three people to play this game?

Daniel: Yeah.

Chloe: Oh. Oh, it's you and Jennifer play with him.

Daniel: Okay. You know what? I bet I know what's on your mind. I'll bet I know. Do you want me, you, and mommy to play that game? Do you? Does that sound good? Well, let's get it on! Game on, kid. Game on!

Parker: [Laughs]

Daniel: Game on! Ha-ha-ha!

Parker: [Squeals]

Daniel: It's game on! I'm gonna take you down.

Marlena: Victor, I've come to give this back to you. There's no sense in me carrying it around.

Victor: What is the matter with you, woman? That thing is priceless. It'll cut through the password on any smart phone, download the information in seconds, and you don't want to use it?

Marlena: I'm not going to get a chance to use it. We might have to admit that I am not gonna get this done. I cannot get my hands on Kristen's phone.

Victor: Something happen to you today?

Marlena: Yeah. It's Eric. I have been so worried about Brady and Kristen and sick about Sami that I have forgotten all about my son.

Victor: What about him?

Marlena: Well, you know, we just--we all assume because he's a priest that he's strong, that he can take care of himself, but he can't right now. I need to focus my attention on helping him.

Victor: What's wrong?

Marlena: I wish I knew. All I know is that something is eating him alive.

Victor: You too, from the looks of it.

Marlena: Well, yeah. You know what? We assume that he'll be okay, that because he's a priest, he's--he's strong and he's kind and he's good. And the truth is he's only human.

Eric: The dream that I keep having and whatever happened to me in that hotel room are definitely connected. I just don't know how.

Father Matt: And you think this woman you keep seeing tried to hurt you in some way?

Eric: Possibly. The thing is that I had this picture in my head of this woman being dark-haired, but tonight, I could clearly see that she was blonde. And I had this distinct feeling that I know her. And I keep thinking about... tonight, why someone would want to hurt me.

Kristen: [Gasps]

Eric: God, I want you like I've never wanted anything.

Jennifer: Hi, baby. Have you heard from your brother at all?

Abigail: No, I haven't, mom.

Jennifer: Okay. 'Cause I'm just wondering where he's gonna spend the night. You know, it's supposed to get really cold, like down into the 40s I think.

Abigail: Do you want me to call him?

Jennifer: I don't know. Will he talk to you?

Abigail: Maybe. I don't know. I mean, I hope so. Do you want to talk to him?

Jennifer: Uh, no. I mean, I probably--

Abigail: Mom, how's JJ? Gonna know that you care about him if you don't tell him?

Jennifer: Honey, he knows that I care about him. I have told him that I love him over and over again. It is up to him now.

JJ: Oh, man, it's my sister.

Rory: Oh, my God. She knows that you're here.

JJ: It's my phone, you idiot, not Daniel's.

Rory: Oh. [Laughs] Oh, right. Uh, she doesn't know that you're here.

Bev: What, you don't want to talk to her?

JJ: Not now.

Rory: Not from the scene of the crime, huh? "Daniel, I need to talk to you. It's about mommy."

JJ: Shut up, dude.

Rory: Ah! [Laughs]

JJ: She's just like that, man. She just--just wants to help.

Caroline: Theresa, we have talked. Roman agrees, Kayla agrees, and I agree. So there's no point in playing us one against the other.

Theresa: You're all against me?

Caroline: No, we--we're not against you. It's just that--

Theresa: Can we just skip the lecture, okay?

Caroline: It's not a lecture. I made mistakes. Plenty of them. But I changed, and that's 'cause I got sick and tired of my life being miserable all the time. So if you change, you'll find the whole Brady family on your side. That's a promise.

Eric: I've read it. It's not that good.

Nicole: Should you be here?

Eric: I need some advice, and you're my go-to.

Nicole: Okay. What's up?

Eric: Do you think I should leave the priesthood?

Nicole: What?

Eric: Come on. Every priest has a little bit of doubt. Mine just is a little bit larger.

Nicole: Okay, but you-- you can't do that. You do so much good. It wouldn't be right.

Eric: I'm human, Nicole. I have the same needs and desires as every man. I care about you. No, that's not true. I want you. I love you.

Nicole: [Sighs]

Eric: What if all these ideas in my head are just figments of my imagination? I only wanted answers, and now I have all these questions.

Father Matt: You need some quiet and prayer. God offers peace overall.

Eric: You're right, as usual.

Father Matt: If you need me, my door's always open.

Eric: Thank you.

Father Matt: Good night.

[Tapping on door]

Victor: Eric is an adult, Marlena. Stop meddling and keep your eye on the prize. You're the one that told me that Kristen had lied to Brady.

Marlena: Oh, great. We're back to that.

Victor: Well, it's kind of important, don't you think?

Marlena: Look, I can't do anything about this. Has that not become abundantly clear to you?

Victor: [Sighs] So what are you gonna do? Are you gonna give the bitch a pass?

Marlena: I wish you would understand my position in this thing.

Brady: How we doin'?

Abigail: Mom, I know that you're really torn up about things right now, so I'm not gonna push, okay? Not about JJ, and not about Daniel.

Jennifer: Thank you.

Abigail: But I am going to say that I am so happy that you fired Theresa.

Jennifer: Yeah, well, that's something I should've done a long time ago.

Abigail: You know, if you need help, I'm happy to come in between classes to help you with filing and stuff.

Jennifer: Thank you, honey. That's really sweet. I would love that.

Abigail: Okay, yeah, I'll be there. You know, it occurred to me tonight that right now, we're all we've got.

Chloe: Will you get your toys and go to your bag so that we can go, please?

Daniel: Here you go.

Chloe: [Sighs] Thank you. Be careful. Oh.

Daniel: [Laughs] Yes, that's your child.

Chloe: Thank you.

Daniel: Mm-hmm, you bet.

Chloe: Um, hey, I was just wondering if I could have a little more alone time with him tomorrow. Can I drop him off a little later?

Daniel: Yeah, sure. I just have a patient I really need to see, so no later than 11:00?

Chloe: Deal, thank you. I appreciate that. But you know what? If you leave now, you could actually get home and sleep in your own bed tonight, and I wouldn't mind driving parker back to Salem myself tomorrow in-- in the afternoon or something. Would that work?

Rory: What's the problem, dude? You're always ragging on your sister.

JJ: Yeah, it doesn't mean you can. Yeah, my family's messed up, but it's not Abigail's fault. It's 'cause of this son of a bitch.

Bev: Hey, let's get high. Okay? I rolled a joint.

JJ: Yeah, go-- go smoke it by the window so you don't stink up the place.

Bev: Oh, anybody have a lighter?

JJ: There's got to be a lighter around here somewhere, or matches. All right, here you go.

Bev: Awesome.

Kristen: Am I interrupting?

Eric: Its fine. Come in.

Kristen: I just wanted to confirm our session for the pre-cana meeting tomorrow.

Eric: Oh, I'm sorry. I was supposed to send an e-mail to you and Brady. Um, 11:00. Okay?

Kristen: Yeah, that's totally fine. I'm really trying very hard not to be nosy, but are you okay? You seem upset.

Eric: Tired. Is there anything else?

Kristen: No, that's it. I'll see you tomorrow.

Eric: Good night.

Kristen: Night.

Eric: [Sighs]

Brady: What's up with you today, granddad? You've been arguing with everybody today.

Victor: Just a bad mood, I guess.

Brady: Marlena, you look awfully serious. Thought you'd be walking on air once Sami was cleared.

Marlena: I am. It's the best news I've had in ages.

Brady: Say that again.

Marlena: Mm-hmm. Well, I should get going. I've got some early patients. Sorry about tonight. Brady.

Brady: Bye-bye. What's goin' on? And I can already smell it coming, so fair warning. No bull.

Theresa: Ugh, I hate this town. I hate this hell hole, but I can't go home. Damn Jennifer. Damn that stupid woman.

[Indistinct rattling]

Abigail: Did you hear that?

Jennifer: Yeah. Maybe it's JJ.

Abigail: Just the wind, I guess.

Jennifer: Yeah.

Abigail: [Sighs]

Jennifer: It's just so cold out here.

Abigail: It's okay, mom.

Jennifer: I'm just so glad you're here.

Abigail: Mom, please try not to worry. JJ's gonna be fine.

Daniel: So you don't mind driving him back tomorrow?

Chloe: No, not at all. My whole day's free, so it works out just fine. Besides, I have kind of a hunch that you may have a few reasons for wanting to get back to Salem tonight.

Daniel: Hey, parker. Do you--do you want Mommy to drive you back to Salem tomorrow? Yes. Yes, all right. Big kiss. Big kiss. All right. So daddy is--well, he's heading home tonight.

Rory: Hey, man, you want to hit this or what?

Brady: You know, granddad, if you started having fun little chats with Nicole I'd have to have you tested, but arguing with Marlena? Seriously?

Victor: Let me tell you something, Brady. And as man gets older, gets of a certain age, he starts to have a hard time dealing with women.

Brady: [Chuckles] Come on. Come on, you and Maggie--

Victor: No, trust me. It'll happen to you. And the older you get, the worse it gets. Whatever our personalities are, for better, for worse, they get more that way every damn year.

Brady: Well, that's--that's really something to look forward to then. Great.

Victor: I'm being serious here. So before you get married, make sure you can be happy with the most extreme version of Kristen that you can imagine. Then maybe you'll think twice and come to your damn senses.

Kristen: Maybe someday soon, I won't will need you anymore. I can absolutely trust Brady. You can be destroyed. Everything will be perfect.

Marlena: Oh. This is ridiculous. I need to be concentrating on Eric. But I can't do that until I find out what's going on.

Nicole: [Sighs] Oh.

Eric: I took that my first morning in Africa.

Nicole: Oh, Eric, it's beautiful.

Eric: It's yours. It's my way of saying thank you for letting me talk out my feelings about what happened back there.

Nicole: That's all I'll ever have with Eric. Gratitude. [Scoffs]

[Knock on door]

Father Matt: I'm going to bed. How you doin'?

Eric: Much better, actually.

Father Matt: Good.

Eric: You know what? You were right as usual. Prayer helped.

Father Matt: Eh, things are clearer.

Eric: No. I'm still in the middle of a mystery, but I will find the answers. But in the meantime, I know that the lord heard my prayer. God's gonna show me the truth.

Father Matt: Good night.

Eric: Good night.
