Episode #12158 ~ Sami makes a decision about the plea bargain; Eric tries to uncover the meaning of a disturbing dream.

Provided By Suzanne

Sami: It was nice being out of here. I wish the jury selection had taken longer. I just--it all happened so fast.

EJ: Well, I think Justin made very good use of his challenges. He got rid of anybody who was predisposed to convict.

Sami: "Predisposed to convict"--I just can't get used to the sound--

Justin: Hey. So I met with our expert... on the makeup of the jury.

Sami: What did she say? Does she think I have a chance?

Abe: Yeah, I-I-I just really want to thank you for taking Theo to that baseball game.

Cameron: Oh, are you kidding me? I got to bond with my nephew and see Wrigley field for the first time.

Abe: Well, I do appreciate it. I know you're busy here with your work. And now there's Abigail and...

Cameron: [Sighs, clears throat]

Abe: Uh, okay. So what happened?

Abigail: Excuse me. Hi. Uh, I was here last night for the club opening, and when I got home, I realized that I had lost my necklace. So I was just wondering if maybe someone turned it in or if you found--

Chad: Is this the one?

Abigail: Oh, my God, Chad. You found it.

Chad: It was in the lost-and-found box this morning.

Abigail: Oh, my God. Thank you.

Chad: I remembered how pretty it looked on you.

Abigail: Oh, thank you so much.

Chad: Yeah. The clasp on it was broken, though, so I fixed it for you.

Rory: Damn, I hope I didn't screw up that final.

JJ: [Chuckles] You did.

Rory: Wait. How do you know?

JJ: [Laughs] I looked at your test. The answers were lame, not to mention wrong.

Rory: [Laughs] Well, I cheated off of you, Einstein.

JJ: Really? Well, then you need glasses, my friend.

Bev: You know, you guys really need to learn how to take notes.

JJ: Notes are for girls and losers.

Bev: Excuse you.

[Cell phone ringing]

Rory: Uh-oh. There's mommy, wondering how little JJ did on his test. I thought you were supposed to jump every time you heard the ringtone.

JJ: Not anymore.

Nicole: Hi.

Daniel: Listen--hey. Is father Eric around?

Nicole: Actually, he was up all night with a patient. He--he just went up to bed. With any luck, he's sleeping like an angel.

Daniel: Yeah. Well, then I'll catch him another time, then.

Nicole: Hey, hey, wait. What... what are you doing here? Is it about when Eric was sick before? Did you find something new?

Eric: [Gasps]

Kristen: Mm. Mm! Whoa. What was that for?

Brady: For giving me a chance to see the real you.

Eric: Man, what was I dreaming about? [Gasps]

Nicole: Come on, Jonas, give it up.

Daniel: Okay. You remember that law about I can't discuss a patient with anybody?

Nicole: That doesn't apply to me, though, 'cause I'm a friend.

Daniel: Yeah, well, that law was made for friends like you.

Nicole: What? Why?

Daniel: Because you can't-- you can't keep--keep a secret.

Nicole: Yes, I can. I can keep--I-- okay. Well, then I guess I know why you're here. You want counseling from the good father.

Daniel: What? Why--why would I want that?

Nicole: Because I told you I thought Jennifer might be pregnant. And you found out she really is, right?

Jennifer: JJ, it is me again. And I know you're out of your exam, which means that you are deliberately not picking up, and we need to talk. So I need you to call me back, okay? Better yet, just come home. No. No, I can't.

Kristen: So I let you see the real me, huh? How did I manage that?

Brady: I heard you talking to Jennifer in there.

Kristen: [Gasps] Were you eavesdropping?

Brady: I didn't mean to.

Kristen: That's what all eavesdroppers say.

Brady: You're not so tough, you know.

Kristen: What?

Brady: You're a sweetheart. I heard you telling Jennifer to not give up on Daniel.

Kristen: What else was I gonna tell her?

Brady: Face it. DiMera, you believe in love. You do. And all that stuff. And when you were telling Jennifer to not walk away from Daniel, I couldn't help but think that you had given yourself the same speech... about you and me.

Eric: I guess I'm not gonna remember. Must've been some dream, because I can't... I feel like I haven't slept at all. [Sighs] [Breathes deeply]

Brady: You know, we both made mistakes.

Kristen: Really? Seems to me the only mistake you made was trusting me.

Brady: You were--you were trying to work something out from a very long time ago.

Kristen: I was using you to do it.

Brady: I know. But you couldn't go through with it... you know, the power of love and all that. Now I believe it's behind us, all that stuff.

Kristen: I don't think john and Marlena would agree with you for one second.

Brady: To hell with them. I don't care how they feel. All I know is I heard you today, and it hit me. I can trust you. This time, I-I just know it's real.

Justin: Our consultant was closely watching the responses of all the potential jurors today. And once the jury was impaneled, I asked her to predict how she thought this particular jury would react to hearing the evidence and during deliberations. Her job is to... sort of give the odds, I guess.

Sami: So what are my odds?

Justin: 80%.

Sami: She thinks I have an 80% chance of getting acquitted?

Justin: No. She thinks, with this particular jury, the chances are four out of five that you'll be convicted.

Cameron: I like Abigail, but that's all.

Abe: Yeah, something tells me that, um... there's something wrong.

Cameron: Hmm. Well, sometimes you need to take a look at the big picture and just try to do what's right.

Abe: What does that mean?

Samantha: Here are those x-rays you asked for.

Cameron: Thank you, Samantha.

Samantha: You're welcome.

Cameron: You know, I really miss having Lexie to talk to.

Abe: As a sister or a doctor?

Cameron: As both. Certain cases--they make it extremely difficult to maintain your objectivity.

Abe: Well, she struggled with that a lot.

Cameron: I'm sure she did.

Chad: You doing all right? You okay?

Abigail: Yeah. I am now. But, um, God, I was a mess this morning when I thought I had lost it. It's, um... it's the last gift that my dad gave me before he...

Chad: Oh. Well, now I'm really glad I found it.

Abigail: Yeah, me too. God, I don't know how I would have explained it to my mom if I lost it.

Chad: She would have understood. I mean, that's the thing about your family. When bad things happen, you guys, uh--you guys take care of each other.

So how do I know that this stuff is good?

JJ: 'Cause you bought it from me. Go take a hike.

Bev: Whoa, that was pretty awesome.

JJ: Am I cool or what?

Bev: Oh, you so are. I mean, who else could hook us up with doughnuts full of cinnamon instead of weed?

JJ: I'll find a way to make it up to you.

Rory: [Sighs] Okay. I'm going to go get a soda from this dude over here.

JJ: I know just how.

Cole: Hey, jackass. What the hell do you think you're doing?

Brady: I'll admit to being pretty pessimistic about this second time around for us.

Kristen: Are you kidding? With good reason.

Brady: But I always believed there was something real between us... just us, you know, that-- that had nothing to do with my dad or Marlena. And I heard you talking to Jennifer today, and I... well, I knew I was right.

Kristen: So what does that mean?

Jennifer: You're still here.

Brady: Uh, yeah.

Jennifer: Uh... am I interrupting something?

Brady: No, no. Nothing that can't be continued later.

Jennifer: Oh! Um, okay. Well, it's almost lunchtime. Do you want me to make you some lunch?

[Both laugh]

Brady: Um, actually, I-I-I think I have everything I need right here.

Daniel: Jennifer is, uh, not pregnant.

Nicole: But the pregnancy test she had was--

Daniel: For a friend. Yeah.

Nicole: I'm sorry. I'm sorry I got your hopes up. That's what happened, right? I got your hopes up, and now you are so disappointed.

Daniel: No, I'm not gonna discuss my feelings with you, especially about something that wasn't even real. I...

Nicole: Hey, I... I thought we were friends.

Daniel: Um, we--yeah. We--we are. But this topic is... ooh, it just makes me very uneasy.

Nicole: Come on, Daniel. You know that I've been rooting for you and Jennifer lately. And I've done everything I can to--to make things work for both of you.

Daniel: Oh, I know you've tried.

Nicole: Tried? Who's the one that told you about Chloe and warned you about JJ? I think I've been downright lovely. Thank you.

Daniel: Yeah? Lovely? Yeah, uh, you have. I mean, maybe even a little overzealous. But I think you've been well-intentioned.

Nicole: Thank you.

Daniel: Yeah, you made a real turnaround since you started working here.

Nicole: I guess, yeah.

Daniel: That just makes me wonder... this--this thinking about others, um... what's in it for you?

Eric: [Gasps] God, what are you trying to tell me? @@

Sami: So there is no hope.

EJ: Samantha, we're not giving up hope. We're gonna prove that this is one of the eight times out of a hundred when this woman is just dead wrong, okay? Now, Justin, how many investigators do you have trying to find information on Bernardi?

Justin: Well, you've seen their bills.

Sami: And they just come up empty-handed, right?

EJ: Samantha, you're not going to prison. You haven't done anything wrong.

Justin: Hey, I think you and I should get out of here and let Sami have some rest.

Sami: Uh, thank you. I just... I just want some time alone to think.

EJ: I'll be back.

JJ: Get out of here, Cole.

Cole: It's a public park. What are you doing with him, huh?

Bev: You don't have anything to say about who I'm with. We're not together anymore, Cole. Let's go.

Rory: Hey. Cole, you got to chill.

Cole: [Sighs]

Rory: Listen, I've got something that can make a charging rhino chill. It's on the house.

Cole: I don't want any part of your little business, all right?

Rory: All right, suit yourself.

Cole: Stoner, huh? You're gonna pay for that one.

Chad: I guess you didn't have very much fun at the opener last night, did you?

Abigail: Why do you say that?

Chad: I don't know. Well, your date wasn't exactly paying attention.

Abigail: Oh, stop. You were fine.

Chad: No, I was... I was all over the place.

Abigail: This is your club. It was a really big night for you, and I totally understand.

Chad: I don't know why, since I didn't even kiss you good night.

Abigail: That is true.

Chad: But that part I can remedy right now.

Eric: Father... [Sighs] I humbly ask for your guidance. [Sighs]

Daniel: Hmm. Well, my guess is that, uh, whatever it is, it has to do with a man. Hmm? Am I getting warmer?

Nicole: No.

Daniel: No?

Nicole: No, you are not getting war-- [Clears throat] I am a strong, independent woman whose life no longer revolves around humans of the, um, male persuasion. Okay, I've evolved. There, I said it.

Daniel: Yeah? Wow. Yeah, that's impressive. That was very good. Evolving, you know, is quite a challenge from what I hear, 'cause I myself have never really attempted it.

Nicole: Are you making fun of me, Daniel Jonas?

Daniel: Oh, no, no. I'm sorry, I forgot. You evolved types tend to have no sense of humor.

Nicole: Stop it, seriously. Why is it so hard for you to believe that I have--that I've changed, that I no longer need to obsess over some guy to keep my... adrenaline flowing or whatever?

Daniel: Yeah, whatever. No, of course you don't need to obsess about a man. It's just the thing is, somehow, you always kind of, um... yeah, you kind of do.

Brady: I'll catch up with you later, okay?

Kristen: Great.

Brady: All right. See you.

Jennifer: See you. [Gasps] Oh, my goodness. He must've heard us talking.

Kristen: Yeah.

Jennifer: I am so sorry. I thought that he'd left.

Kristen: Don't ever apologize again. Brady's right. You're the best friend I've ever had.

Nicole: Hey, uh, you are one to talk. You've had a woman on the string since the day I met you.

Daniel: Okay, okay, touché. I do not like to be alone, but neither do you. And I'm not buying for one minute that you are satisfied with this filing and typing. So now... who is he?

Nicole: I'm telling you-- hi. That wasn't a very long nap.

Eric: I'm fine. Hi, Daniel.

Daniel: Hey.

Nicole: Um, yeah, so Daniel's here to talk to you, so I'm gonna skedaddle.

Eric: So why do you want to see me, Daniel?

Daniel: What's wrong?

Eric: That's supposed to be my question.

Daniel: No, no, something's bothering you. Did you finally... remember something about the night you got sick? One simple stroke...

Abigail: You have, um-- probably have a lot to do this morning.

Chad: No, I mean, I can always make time for you.

Abigail: That's really sweet, but, um, I know how busy you are, and I want your full attention. So, um, I'm gonna get going.

Chad: Okay.

Abigail: Okay. Bye.

Chad: Bye. What just happened?

Jennifer: Okay, since it's going so well, then maybe you can tell Brady that there was someone while you were broken up.

Kristen: There wasn't someone. It was one meaningless night.

Jennifer: Right, and I believe that. And Brady will too.

Kristen: The time that I should've told Brady was before. I told him there was a chance for us to try again.

Jennifer: Okay. And who am I to be talking about being honest? I mean, I've lied to my son about Daniel so many times.

Kristen: You know, Jennifer, about that... I mean, I know how much your kids mean to you, but you have found someone else that you want to share your life with, and Daniel feels the same way. That doesn't happen to a lot of people, you know?

Jennifer: Yeah, I know.

Kristen: Do you honestly think that it's good for JJ to let him get away with keeping you and Daniel from being together?

JJ: Get out of here, man.

Nicole: Hey, JJ. You having a picnic?

JJ: Are you stalking me?

Nicole: [Laughs] That's cute. Well, I know where to find trouble, and that's just what you and your merry little band are.

JJ: Why do you care?

Nicole: About you? I don't. It's your mother.

JJ: [Scoffs] Yeah, right.

Nicole: I was wrong to keep Jennifer away from Daniel, and so were you.

JJ: You've been talking to him about me, haven't you?

Nicole: Yeah, I absolutely have, because your mother believes that you've changed, and I know you haven't.

JJ: Who cares what you know or think you know?

Jennifer: Well, here's something you better learn and care about-- Daniel and Jennifer love each other, and that is never gonna change. And it's only a matter of time before your mother realizes what I already know-- you are a selfish little brat who's not worth sacrificing the happiness that she's found in the man that she loves. You got it?

Eric: I still don't remember anything about that night I got sick. I-I wish I did.

Daniel: Well, then what is it? You look exhausted.

Eric: I was at the hospital all night. A parishioner--a young woman-- she died early this morning.

Daniel: Yeah, yeah, I know-- I know the case. It's just so hard when they're young.

Eric: She finally realized what was happening. She accepted it. I hope I helped her find peace with that. But I'm still not used to seeing someone die.

Daniel: You never get used to it.

Eric: So is that why you came here to see me?

Daniel: Well, you said, uh, if I ever wanted to talk, you were her.

Eric: Yeah, of course. Is this about Jennifer?

Daniel: Uh, yeah. Yeah, and try as I might, I-I-I just can't see the situation clearly. So I was hoping maybe you could... you could help me with that.

Abe: Well, I came to tell you that I talked to Melinda Trask.

Sami: Oh, yeah? What, did she realize she doesn't have a case? She's decided to drop all the charges? That's just a joke.

Abe: She's feeling pretty confident about the jury.

Sami: Yeah, so is the jury-selection specialist that we hired. She's pretty sure that Melinda Trask has it in the bag.

Abe: I've been subpoenaed to testify for the prosecution.

Sami: Well, who hasn't, Abe.? Except my mom, maybe my grandma. And even them--Justin has considered bringing them in as a character witness, but I really don't see the point. I mean, at this--at this point, it seems like no one is willing to believe that I shot Bernardi to protect Rafe.

Abe: I believe it.

EJ: I just don't think you need to be so negative in front of Samantha.

Justin: What would you like me to do, EJ--make believe that she has this case won?

EJ: Well, no, of course not. But she can't be so beaten down that she's not gonna fight to save herself.

Justin: She doesn't have to fight. All she has to do is tell the truth when I put her on the stand. The fight is up to me. I just have to prove that her version of the story is what actually happened.

EJ: And you will, I'm sure. She's gonna beat this, Justin. I know it.

Justin: Oh, yeah? Why don't you tell me what makes you so sure of that?

Brady: Have you ever been to Kauai?

Kristen: No.

Brady: Okay, it's beautiful. It's lovely. And you're gonna go with me.

Kristen: I am?

Brady: Yeah. I was thinking we need to get the hell out of here. We need to have time alone to get to know each other again and just-- you know, it's a beautiful place, and I want to take you there. And I don't want people questioning as to whether we should be together or not.

Kristen: Yeah.

Brady: Tell me you want to go. What do you say?

Kristen: I say no.

Eric: Jennifer's solution is to keep JJ believing something that isn't true.

Daniel: Exactly. [Scoffs] Psychiatry is not my field, but even I know... this is not about me. It's about JJ's anger with his mother. He is actively trying to make her miserable. And if she does not confront that, I-I don't see how this situation could even--even change, ever.

Eric: Wow.

Daniel: You know what it feels like? It feels like no matter what I do... JJ wins.

Eric: Maybe you're too immersed in the situation.

Daniel: That could be true. I spend most of my time trying to figure something out.

Eric: You know, I've found in my life that... you know, asking God for perspective can help me see things that I may have missed, even if they were right in front of me.

Jennifer: You got my messages?

JJ: Yeah, I got them.

Jennifer: Good, because we really need to talk.

JJ: Mom, all we do is talk. Know everything there is to know about you and Daniel.

Jennifer: But you don't know everything there is to know about me and you. And that's about to change.

Sami: Thank you. Abe, you have no idea how much it means to me to hear you say that. Maybe that means I have a chance... maybe.

Abe: Listen--listen to me, Sami. If there's anything... anything that you and EJ are keeping quiet about... if it could help... now is not the time to hold back.

EJ: Justin, I don't think I like what you're implying.

Justin: I don't care. I don't want to withdraw from this case just before it gets started, but I warned you not to undermine me again.

EJ: And I told you I didn't.

Justin: Then why were you so sure that the police would find something incriminating in Bernardi's house?

EJ: Because he is a corrupt cop, Justin. If the police had not been so incompetent, then they would've been able--

Justin: Would've found whatever it was that you planted there.

EJ: He was on the take.

Justin: And you were complaining that my investigators weren't proving that fast enough. And still you're sure that something's going to surface to prove Sami's innocence. So I'm starting to wonder if maybe what you really want is to make surmathaturhe'sat sound guilty.

Abigail: Oh, my God! You wa to so fast.

Cameron: You know, I'm late for an appointment.

Abigail: Well--okay, wait. Hey! [Grunts]

Jennifer: So here goes. I'm gonna be honest with you.

JJ: All right.

Jennifer: I love Daniel. I love him, and I want things to work out for him and me. But at the moment, I don't know if they will.

JJ: What am I supposed to say, mom--"I'm sorry"?

Jennifer: No, because I know that you don't like him. But I also know you haven't even given him a chance. But that is your loss. I want Daniel and I to work through our problems, and I am not going to pretend anything anymore. So whatever happens between Daniel and me, you're just gonna have to accept it.

Daniel: Uh, yeah, this just came in the mail.

Eric: So parker's your son in the eyes of everyone, including the law. Congratulations.

Daniel: Thank you. Yeah. You know, as soon as I got this, I-I wanted to call Jennifer... because I love her, parker loves her, and I know... she loves us. And she still doesn't know about this.

Eric: Doesn't seem right, does it?

Daniel: So you think maybe this is one of those signs I've been ignoring because I've been so mad at JJ?

Eric: It could be.

Daniel: Thank you. I'm gonna go talk with Jennifer... see if we can't figure something out.

Eric: Sounds good.

Daniel: Thank you.

Eric: [Sighs]

Daniel: Um, you know, I hate to say this, uh, and I'm no prince, but, uh, you look like hell.

Eric: [Chuckles]

Daniel: No, something is definitely bothering you. You think maybe you're ignoring something that's right in front of you? 'Cause if you are, maybe you should take your own advice and...

Eric: [Chuckles]

Daniel: Yeah, try to deal with it.

Kristen: Darn it. The school year's about to start. I still have to interview a lot of the kids for the scholarships that I'm funding.

Brady: This isn't about not wanting to go away with me, is it?

Kristen: Like I wouldn't want to go anywhere anytime with you--are you kidding? It's just not the right time.

Brady: All right.

Kristen: The kids have worked so hard, I hate to make them wait, you know? They have such hopes and dreams.

Brady: I know, I know. Look, I know how you feel about kids. That's one of the things I love about you, actually.

Kristen: Mm-hmm. Speaking of kids, Daniel got the birth certificate stating that he's parker's father.

Brady: That is great.

Kristen: Isn't it?

Brady: Oh, that's really good news.

Kristen: I know. I think he'd pretty much given up hope that he'd ever be able to raise his own child, and now it's happening. I can't imagine what that must be like.

Brady: Well, maybe you will one day. Maybe we will one day.

Kristen: Wait a minute. I thought we're taking things slowly.

Brady: We are. But can't I surprise you at all?

Kristen: I don't know. It depends on what you're thinking.

Brady: Well, let's just say it'll be here in Salem, and that's all you need to know.

Kristen: Mm.

Brady: Mm-hmm.

Cameron: [Clears throat]

Abigail: Hey, wait up, okay?

Cameron: I told you I'm late for something.

Abigail: Yeah, you did, and I don't buy that for one second. You're avoiding me, and I want to know why.

Cameron: [Sighs]

EJ: Do you think I want her to be found guilty?

Justin: No.

EJ: Then why the hell would you say that?

Justin: Because you're usually a very shrewd guy, someone who knows what's best in the long run. But now, EJ, you're allowing your feelings to cloud your better judgment. And I'm afraid that Sami is gonna pay the price.

EJ: I would never do anything that would jeopardize her chances of being found innocent.

Justin: You think you're so much smarter than everyone, but stop and think. If evidence against Bernardi somehow miraculously appears and Melinda Trask finds out that anyone--anyone--falsified that evidence in order to clear a cop killer, she is gonna make sure the judge and the jury think that Sami was in on it. And they are gonna send her away for the rest of her life. Do you get the picture now?

Sami: [Grunting] [Breathing heavily]

Melinda: You give me EJ, he'll give me daddy.

Sami: Go to hell.

Justin: [Clears throat]

Melinda: I expected you to say that. You need time to process, but I won't wait forever. Think about your children-- no mother for ten years or for their entire lives.

Sami: Guard? Guard? Hey.

You okay?

Sami: Yeah, I'm fine. I just need you to make a call for me.

Your lawyer?

Sami: No. I want to talk to the special prosecutor.

Cameron: I haven't-- I haven't been trying to avoid you--I'm just really busy.

Abigail: Is that why you told Chad to start spending more time with me, because you've been really busy?

Cameron: I don't--I don't think that's exactly what I said. Look... I know you're confused about Chad.

Abigail: You just thought you would make this decision for me? Is that it?

Cameron: No.

Abigail: Well, that's what it feels like, Cameron. It feels like you are just giving me to Chad.

JJ: Okay, mom, look... you can do whatever you want with whoever you want, okay? But can you stop freaking out when you think that I'm lying to you? Because it seems like that's something I learned from you.

Jennifer: I don't believe that I have made a practice of lying to you, JJ.

JJ: "Your dad's the love of my life. He's the only man I'll ever love."

Jennifer: Those were not lies.

JJ: Just think about it like this, mom. We can both stop pretending to be something we're not.

Jennifer: What does that mean?

JJ: We can stop acting like we're close, like we're a family.

Jennifer: You have no right to speak to me that way, and we are gonna deal with this right now. Do you understand me?

[Knock at door]

JJ: Mom, uh, Dr. Jonas is here. Do you want to talk to him or me?

Nicole: Brady, hey!

Brady: Hey. What are you doing? Are you taking the day off?

Nicole: No, I was just getting some fresh air, actually.

Brady: Mm-hmm. Have anything to do with the fact Kristen showed up at Eric's office?

Nicole: Uh, well, smart guy, I didn't know that Kristen was on his schedule.

Brady: I thought you made his schedule.

Nicole: Well, he must've forgotten to tell me about this meeting. I don't know. He's--he's had a lot on his mind all day.

Brady: What do you mean-- something important?

Nicole: I guess. He just hasn't been himself.

Eric: I am so sorry to bother you on your day off, father. I'm very disturbed about some things that I feel are-- well, they're interfering with my duties here. It's a dream... a dream that I keep having. No, no, no. It's--it's not clear. I just don't know how to interpret it. The disturbing part. I feel God is trying to speak to me. It's just that I don't know what he's trying to say.

Melinda: You wanted to see me?

Sami: Yes. I wanted to speak with you privately.

Melinda: My assistant is here as a witness, not to mention that any conversation we have is going to be a matter of public record, or it's not going to happen. Your call.

Sami: Okay.

Melinda: The date is Wednesday, august 28, 2013. Those present are myself, special prosecutor Melinda Trask, Edward Klein, and the defendant, Samantha Brady. Please state your name and reiterate that you've asked to see me without counsel present.

Sami: My name is Samantha jean Brady, and I have asked to speak to the special prosecutor without the presence of my attorney.

EJ: I would never do anything to jeopardize Samantha's freedom. But other than that, I will do whatever it takes, because if my life was on the line, she would do exactly the same thing for me.

Melinda: Ms. Brady, I presume this meeting can only have one purpose.

Sami: I want to make a deal.
