Episode #12121 ~ Rafe wakes from his coma; EJ and Justin try to steal DiMera Enterprises from Stefano.

Provided By Suzanne

Sami: Rafe. Wait, hi.

Rafe: Hi.

Sami: Wow, I'm so glad to see you. Um, you look wonderful. You really do. I'm so relieved that you're okay. Sorry. Um, I know we've had our differences, but...

Rafe: I gotta go. So--

Sami: No.

Rafe: Yeah.

Sami: I--

Rafe: I'm sorry.

Sami: No, Rafe. I can't lose you again! I won't!

[Monitors beeping rapidly]

Jennifer: Hey.

Daniel: Oh, uh, hey.

Jennifer: We should stop meeting like this, right?

Daniel: [Chuckles] Yeah. Right.

Jennifer: Uh, before you go, could you tell me how Rafe's doing?

Daniel: We started the process of bringing him out of the coma. I'm going back to the hospital to monitor him.

Jennifer: Wow, that's-- that's great. He's gonna be fine, though. He's in good hands.

Daniel: Yeah.

Jennifer: How was your 4th of July?

Daniel: Hey, Jenn? We are so not gonna do this.

Rory: Dude, are you sure you want to do this?

JJ: No, I just drove all the way to the lake 'cause I don't want to go to the lake.

Rory: Wh-- I mean, well, what if your mom finds out that you blew off study hall?

JJ: Hmm. Good point. Maybe I won't tell her that. Dude, can you tell me when you became such a wuss? Oh, my God.

Sami: Oh, what a beautiful morning this has been so far. Our kids love their new day camp. I'm not facing murder charges. We have this fantastic new anti-aging formula, which is gonna make us millions, and more importantly, stick it to Kate.

EJ: I always said you were just a simple girl at heart.

Sami: [Laughs] Well, I didn't even get to my favorite part, which is that I am engaged to marry the man of my dreams.

[Monitors beeping rapidly]

Kate: What's happening to him?

Gabi: Is he gonna be all right?

EJ: Life is good, isn't it? Actually, I have a feeling it's about to get a lot better.

[Cell phone ringing]

Sami: Oh. Aren't we popular this morning?

EJ: Right? Justin. What have you got for me?

Justin: A big problem.

Stefano: [Humming] There you go, darling.

Cecily: You're always full of surprises, Stefano.

Stefano: [Laughs] Yeah. That's life. That is life as we know it, darling. All right. So.

Gabi: Is this it? Is he coming out of the coma?

Jennifer: I'm sorry, I-- you're right. I just thought-- but no, we can't do this. Doctor's orders.

Daniel: No, I'm sorry. I just-- it's--it's not my favorite thing, to chat like nothing's happening.

Jennifer: Oh, no. Yeah. I-I get that. I do. Can you just tell me how parker's doing?

Daniel: Well, I brought him to see Chloe for the first time. Uh, she's doing much better. And there's no denying it. They were both very thrilled to see each other.

Jennifer: Yeah, I-I'm sure.

Daniel: Yeah.

Jennifer: Does that mean she's coming back?

EJ: Bad news?

Sami: No, no. It was a text from my dad. They're, um, gonna bring Rafe out of the coma today.

Kayla: Well, his vitals are normal, Gabi. He's fine.

Gabi: Well, then what happened?

Kayla: Well, my guess is that he had a nightmare. It's common for coma patients to have really vivid dreams.

Gabi: Okay, well, how long is it gonna be before he wakes up?

Kayla: Well, like I told you, there's no exact process... or timetable, for that matter.

Kate: But the process still is going on.

Kayla: Right. And Daniel's on his way back to monitor the progress. We don't think it's gonna be that much longer till he wakes up.

Kate: But he is going to wake up. You're promising that.

Rafe: Oh, hey.

Kate: Hey.

Rafe: Oh.

Kate: I have to go.

Rafe: No, no, no, no. No, no. We still have time.

Kate: Do we?

Rafe: Yeah.

Kate: I'm scared. No one can find out about us.

Stefano: [Yells] [Chuckles]

We'll be landing in Salem within the hour.

Stefano: Aha. Mm.

Cecily: [Laughs]

Stefano: Salud.

Cecily: Salud.

Stefano: To my homecoming, huh?

Daniel: Are you really

Daniel: Are you really worried about Chloe coming back? Because she's not, and even if she did, she is not going to bother you.

Jennifer: No, you know what? I'm not worried about Chloe. I just want to know what's-- what's happening in your life. I want to know about parker. I can't just flip off a switch and pretend that I don't care about you guys anymore.

Daniel: Jenn, there is nothing I want more than to share my life with you. Every detail, every moment. I want to tell you about parker, and how we are slowly going to arrange for Chloe to share custody. And I want to know about Abigail, and I want to know about work, about the new assistant that you're getting. And I especially want to know how you're doing with JJ... because I know how much you love your son, and I know it breaks your heart that he is having a rough time. But you can't have it both ways, Jenn. You know, we were supposed to be taking some sort of break, which means that you want me to stay away from you so that, as you expressed it, JJ will have you in his life, and I really won't be complicating it. And what is ultimately frustrating about all of this is that I know, and I'm pretty sure that you do, too, deep down, that my leaving you alone is not going to be good for JJ. In fact, it is going to be worse.

Rory: Dude, that is the definition of "out of your league."

JJ: Dude, why don't you split, you low-expectation loser?

Rory: Whoa, whoa. I thought we were going to talk business.

JJ: Later, man. And besides, after getting arrested, I just--I just gotta lie low.

Rory: You do. I don't. I can be your wingman.

JJ: Rory, I am in the business of peddling a controlled substance, man. It's a solo act, bro. What?

Rory: Dude, you're going to crash and burn, man. But hey, if that's how you want it.

JJ: Yeah, it is.

Rory: All right. Well, good luck then.

JJ: Yeah. Hey. It's not a problem if you want, but are you stalking me?

Theresa: Yeah, that's why I got here first. I'm a clairvoyant stalker.

JJ: [Laughs] Those are the worst kind.

Theresa: So I thought you said you were gonna hook me up.

JJ: Oh, yeah. That's exactly what I plan to do.

Kayla: There are a few things that I want you guys to know before Rafe wakes up.

[Knocking at door]

Kayla: Hi.

Abe: Hi, hi. I'm so sorry to interrupt. Uh, I just wanted to check and see how Rafe's doing.

Kayla: Well, I was just about to fill Kate and Gabi in on what to expect when he wakes up.

Abe: Oh. It's okay if I stay?

Kayla: If it's all right with Gabi.

Gabi: Of course. Yes, of course you can stay.

Kayla: Well, I just want you guys to be prepared for the fact that, when he wakes up, he may not know where he is or how he got here.

Kate: Will there be memory loss?

Kayla: Well, it's a possibility, but in most cases, the patient's memory is intact. What he'll have more problem with is the difficulty in reorienting himself to time and place.

Gabi: What does that mean?

Kayla: It's just that he may not be able to differentiate between what's happening in the present time to what his mind was telling him when he was in the coma. That confusion could go on for a few days, or, in some cases, a few weeks.

Gabi: Okay, um, is there anything that we can do to help him with that?

Kayla: You're already doing it, Gabi, by just being here. When he gets faced with those challenges, just to be around the people he loves will help him a lot.

EJ: Were you planning on going to the hospital to be there when he comes around?

Sami: No. Why would you ask that?

EJ: Well, I mean, he was bringing Johnny an FBI jacket when he was attacked, so I would imagine that when he comes around and finds out what happened to him, he's going to want to thank you for saving his life.

Sami: Who are you, and what have you done with my fiancÚ?

EJ: It's--it's important to me that you understand that I'm not threatened or bothered by the fact that, on some level, I recognize you do still care about him.

Sami: Does this mean we've actually grown up?

EJ: God, I hope not.

Sami: [Laughs] All right. Well, I hadn't planned on it, but maybe I will stop by the hospital on my way to see Eric.

EJ: You should. Take your time.

Sami: Wow, you are just racking up the points this morning. Why, Mr. DiMera, I might actually marry you after all.

EJ: You should.

Sami: [Laughs] Thank you for these.

EJ: Justin, what the hell is going on?

Justin: Mr. Shin in Hong Kong is holding us up again, and the board meeting of the London subsidiary has been pushed back.

EJ: This has to happen today. You understand? Or it's all gonna come crashing down on our heads. Get over here now!

Justin: Just take it easy, EJ. The worst thing we can do is panic.

EJ: I am not paNicking. And don't you start gloating. I've got a few more moves left up my sleeve, believe me.

[Knocking at door]

Kayla: Oh, hi, hi. Come on in.

Abe: Thought I'd drop in... you know, and give Gabi a few minutes with her brother, just, um, the two of them.

Kayla: Kate's still sitting there, no?

Abe: She's making some calls.

Kayla: Oh.

Abe: So, uh, you don't have an idea when Rafe might regain consciousness?

Kayla: No, but we're hoping within the hour.

Abe: You're telling Gabi that there could be memory loss.

Kayla: Yes, but I also told her that it's possible that his memory will be intact when he wakes up.

Abe: But if it's not?

Kayla: Well, he could have lost the last six months, or maybe even the year.

Abe: Right.

Kayla: You know, I keep thinking about Kate. You know, if he doesn't remember the last six months, he is gonna be so surprised to see her sitting there when he wakes up.

Abe: And if he doesn't remember the last year or so...

Kayla: He's gonna think he's still married to Sami. But you know what? No matter what he remembers or, you know, what he's thinking, I mean, we're not gonna know until he wakes up.

EJ: Mr. Shin, I was under the impression you and I had come to a very clear understanding as to the new direction of DiMera enterprises and your role within that company. Well, I appreciate and I applaud your support for my father. However, if we look at some of his recent business decisions, I think that we can both agree he's not quite the man he used to be. Very well. I'll call you back in half an hour. Just something to think about, Mr. Shin-- if there is one thing I did learn from my father it is that you make an example of people who break their promises.

Justin: That was a little heavy-handed, don't you think?

EJ: That's the truth. And speaking of promises, you promised me all my ducks would be in a row.

Justin: I think you underestimated your father's ability to balance business with whatever sadistic pleasure he might be pursuing at the time.

[Cell phone ringing]

Justin: Mr. Benedict. Thank you very much for calling me back. Yes, I have EJ right here. Benedict. London subsidiary.

EJ: Reggie, good to talk to you. How are you? Listen, I just wanted a quick word with you. Let's talk about, uh, your new role within the new regime, eh?

Jennifer: Okay. Well, I guess there's nothing to say.

Daniel: Jenn.

Jennifer: What?

Daniel: I think I just proved that I'm right. When we don't talk-- when we don't talk like we used to, I get frustrated, and I just say things that hurt you.

Jennifer: I know, but I know you don't mean them. And I know that you're frustrated, and I know that I'm asking a lot. I just need a little time to focus on JJ.

Daniel: And make sure nothing upsets him. Because he's made it very clear our relationship upsets him.

Jennifer: Right, but when he came back, you told me that you understood that.

Daniel: I do understand that. But that doesn't mean he gets to call all the shots. I understand you're afraid. I do. You think he's gonna walk in on us and see something that's gonna push him over the edge. But he wants you to feel that guilt, to feel the way--he does.

Jennifer: Daniel, he is so lost, and he knows that you don't like him.

Daniel: I'm not-- Jennifer, he is terrorizing you. He is making you give up someone you love in return for maybe, possibly acting responsibly?

Jennifer: No.

Daniel: That is no way for a young man to learn how things work in this world.

Jennifer: Okay, okay, all right. Just come back to me when parker's a teenager, okay? Do you think I don't know this? Do you think I don't know that I am being manipulated? But this is my son, and he is so lost, and I am scared to death for him. I have to do everything that I can to--to fight my way back into his life. Do you understand that?

Daniel: And that's what gets me. The way you fight for your kids, I love that about you. I do. So I have to keep my distance from you, and I'm begging you to do the same for me. Please, 'cause it's only fair. Because you cannot bury your true feelings with this idle chitchat. I can't--

Jennifer: I get it. You're right.

Daniel: Okay.

Jennifer: I'm just asking you if we can just take a little break for now.

Daniel: So that JJ can see how much power he has over you.

Jennifer: No, so he can see that I-I value his feelings, Daniel, that I'm--that I'm listening to what he's saying to me.

Daniel: In other words, you think I'm the reason he's acting out. Jennifer, seriously?

Jennifer: No, Daniel, I am--

Daniel: Seriously? Breaking up with me is not gonna fix your son.

[Cell phone ringing]

Jennifer: Jennifer Horton. Yes, I'm JJ's mother. He what?

JJ: See, the problem that we're facing is that I only deal with friends. And, uh, I don't even know your name.

Theresa: Theresa.

JJ: Theresa. Hmm. It's just one name? Oh, like beyonce. Well, hey, it's, uh-- it's a start. Eventually, you know, I want to know all about you.

Theresa: Yeah, well, we're gonna have to take that journey later. I have this thing I have to get to.

JJ: Well, maybe I could help you with that thing.

Theresa: [Chuckles]

JJ: Hey, how about a phone number, um, a Facebook page? Do you have--how do I find you?

Theresa: If I need you, I'll find you.

[Cell phone ringing]

JJ: Hello?

Jennifer: Where are you?

JJ: Uh, I'm actually on my way to study hall, but, uh, I'm running a little late.

Jennifer: Stop lying, and get your butt down to my office now.

Abe: Gabi, um, look, I want you to know, everyone on the force is pulling for Rafe. They're willing to do whatever it takes to help him recover.

Gabi: Thank you. That really means a lot. Can I ask you something?

Abe: Mm, sure.

Gabi: I know that the grand jury believes that Sami was trying to protect Rafe.

Abe: Mm-hmm.

Gabi: But do they have any idea why that detective was trying to hurt him? I mean, I heard that they were friends. He even bought a baby gift from the store where I registered.

Abe: I-- I have no idea about Bernardi's motivations. And I hope that when Rafe wakes up and he's had some time to heal, that he'll be able to help clear things up.

Gabi: I hope you're right.

Abe: How's the baby?

Gabi: Oh, she's great. Um, will has her today. Uh, this picture is actually from this morning.

Abe: Oh. Oh, she's beautiful.

Gabi: I take one every morning, and replace the one in the frame with it. You know, I just-- I want him to see her as she is when he opens his eyes. I-I save all the other ones, and-- I just--I really-- I don't want my brother to feel like he's missed a moment.

Sami: Oh, Kate. Rafe awake?

Kate: No. I'm sure he knows better than to come out of his month-long coma until it suits your schedule.

Sami: [Laughs] You know, EJ and I have this new product that is going to be absolutely fantastic for you. You should try it. It's never too late.

Kate: Where are you going?

Sami: To see Rafe.

Kate: The hell you are. John, it's over.

Kayla: Well, I appreciate it. Listen, the whole family appreciates it.

Jennifer: Oh, no. I'm happy to help. I'm sure it'll be fine.

[Knocking at door]

Kayla: Great.

Jennifer: Come in.

JJ: Hey, uh, if you're too busy, I can come back--

Kayla: No, no, no, no. I was just leaving. I was just leaving. Thank you.

Jennifer: Sure.

Kayla: So good to have you back, you little buster. You've gotten so big. [Grunts]

JJ: Okay, mom, I get that you're upset, but, uh, I don't think you should swear at me.

Jennifer: Mm, no, I didn't swear at you. I asked you to get your butt down here. But I don't really think that you get anything. And I don't want to hear another one of your explanations, and I don't want to hear your analysis of my flaws. This time, I'm gonna be the one talking, and you're gonna listen.

EJ: No, of course, Reggie. I think this is going to work out splendidly for both of us. Supercilious twit.

Justin: You just promised that supercilious twit an even bigger slice of the pie, you know.

EJ: What the lord giveth, the lord can taketh away. Now let's think about this, shall we? That's London. So we're just waiting for shin in Hong Kong, right?

Justin: Mm-hmm. Wait a minute. I think we've just found something that might help us sway Mr. Shin.

EJ: It's a bit of a hail Mary.

Justin: Yeah. But you throw the hail Mary pass whenever you ain't got nothing else.

EJ: Justin, if this doesn't work, my father is going to know exactly what I tried to do, and who helped me.

Justin: I'll pray. You dial.

Stefano: I understand that Justin Kiriakis is involved. Uh-huh. Now you are reassuring me that the problem with my son now is taken care of. Excellent. Uh-huh. Excellent. No, no, no, no, no, no. Look, he's gonna find out soon enough, all right? I think it's time that we keep Elvis in the dark for a little while longer. [Chuckles]

Sami: Ow. What is your problem, Kate?

Kate: The last thing that Rafe needs when he wakes up is to see you there wanting an "attaboy" for discharging your firearm over his comatose body.

Sami: [Sighs] One, you gave me that weapon, and two, I shot the man who was going to kill him.

Kate: Oh, that's really great. Why don't you just give yourself a medal, Sami? But Kayla said Rafe needs to be surrounded by people who love him, not self-aggrandizing narcissists like you.

Sami: Oh, now you're projecting, huh?

Kate: No matter what you tell yourself, you left Rafe for EJ. Rafe doesn't know that you saved his life. All he knows is that you broke his heart.

Sami: You don't get to tell me how I feel about Rafe. He's my ex-husband. He was practically a father to my children.

Kate: Mm-hmm. You see, all of that's in the past tense because of your doing.

Sami: Okay, you know what I'm hoping right now? Rafe has a little bit of memory loss, so he doesn't have to subject himself to remembering his time-- I don't even want to think about it.

Kate: This isn't about me. And this isn't about you and your petty jealousies. Don't you see? It's about Rafe. Rafe. But of course, you are you, and nothing I or anyone else says is ever gonna change you, is it?

Sami: You got that right.

Kate: Yeah. So why don't you just barge on in into that room and make yourself the center of attention? 'Cause I'm not gonna stop you.

Sami: You got that right, too.

Kate: Daniel, I need to talk to you about Rafe.

Everything's fine. There's nothing to worry about.

Gabi: Thank you. Hey, Sami. Sami?

Sami: Um, sorry. I was just wondering whether or not it's okay for me to, you know, be here.

Gabi: Of course. Of course it's okay. I mean, my brother wouldn't even be here if it weren't for you.

Daniel: Well, the trauma to Rafe's body was substantial. And even though we did everything we could to help heal those wounds while he was in a coma, Rafe's total immobility will demand a lot of physical therapy.

Kate: Will he be able to walk?

Daniel: You know, I won't know that until he wakes up. But it's unlikely he'll even be able to stand. He is going to be like a baby. I mean, learning all of those motor skills all over again. But he's not even gonna get to that part until, you know, we know for sure that he has mentally adjusted to coming out of the coma.

Kate: Oh.

Daniel: Okay?

Kate: Uh, that's just it. That worries me. He's gonna be so frustrated. You know, for a guy who would do anything to help anyone, he just hates needing help.

Daniel: Mm-hmm. Well, you know him pretty well then.

Kate: That's not difficult. He's a completely open book, a refreshing change from the other men in my life.

Daniel: Huh. Okay. Well, whatever happens between you and Rafe is really none of my business.

Kate: Really? Nevertheless, it is inappropriate, right?

Daniel: Okay, you know what? I'm just--I'm gonna say that I'm glad that my friend Rafe has so many strong, stubborn women in his corner to just help him through.

Kate: Well, that's a right nice thing to say, doc.

Daniel: Mm-hmm.

Doctor, uh, I think detective Hernandez is starting to wake up.

Daniel: Oh, okay. Thank you very much.

Gabi: Kayla said that he's probably gonna be confused at first.

Sami: Well, it'll be our job to set him straight then. What else is new, right?

Abe: Wait, look. The chill of peppermint.

Jennifer: Okay, so how long have you been back, and how many times now have you screwed up?

JJ: Mom--

Jennifer: No, I don't want to hear it. Really, I don't, 'cause I'm gonna talk and you're gonna listen to me. Okay, because I set a punishment for your shoplifting. I-I grounded you. I took away all of your screens. But apparently, that isn't enough. And since you chose to leave school grounds during your lunch hour and not return in time for study hall, now I'm taking away all of your lunch money.

JJ: So, what, you're gonna let me starve?

Jennifer: No. There's gonna be food in the fridge, and there's gonna be brown bags in the drawer, so you get up 15 minutes earlier, before you need to leave for school, and you make your lunch. Or you starve. I'm gonna leave that completely up to you, okay?

JJ: Mom, almost nobody brings a lunch.

Jennifer: Almost nobody shoplifts. I am telling you right now, mister, you are walking the straight and narrow. Do you hear me? No more partying. No more hanging out. No more bringing inappropriately aged women into our home. In fact, to make it easy for you, no one is allowed in our home at this point. So rule of thumb, if it sounds fun to you, don't do it.

JJ: You really have it in for me, don't you?

Jennifer: And finally, I need you to tell me that you understand.

JJ: Very loud and very clear.

Jennifer: Great. Enjoy detention. God, Jack. What has happened to our son?

EJ: Well, Mr. Shin, if that is how you feel... there was just one more thing. It came to my attention that your--your son is applying to attend a rather prestigious ivy league law school. Well, I have rather close ties to the school. Several friends and colleagues are on the advisory board. I mean, if you'd like, uh, I could make a telephone call. Of course. I would be only too happy to help. Well, of course, we want to put our children first at all times, don't we? Well, you'll be hearing from the dean shortly. I'll look forward to seeing you and your son the next time I'm in Hong Kong.

Justin: Nicely done.

EJ: Sort of ironic, isn't it? That the fate of Stefano DiMera, a man who would not lift a finger to help his son, is sealed by a man who would do anything for his.

Justin: Let's just hope all your bribes and cajoling hold until at least the vote occurs. If your father is able to get to even one single board member and turn him--

EJ: Well, I don't think there's any point in speculating at the moment. This vote's gonna happen in the next five minutes. The axe is going to fall, Justin. We just have to hope it's on his neck, not ours.

Sir, we're beginning our descent into Salem.

Stefano: [Laughs] I wonder, why do I have the feeling that my son is not gonna be happy to see me? [Chuckles]

Sami: I just realized, the last time I saw Rafe, I, um, killed someone.

Gabi: He's moving, but he's not opening his eyes. Is--is he having another dream?

Daniel: I can't answer that. But I can tell you that everything seems to be going smoothly. Yeah.

Gabi: [Gasps]

[Monitors beeping rapidly]

Gabi: Wait, wait, what's happening? Is something wrong?

Break a leg!

JJ: I forgot my backpack. You want to yell at me for that, too?

Theresa: Why, would you like me to?

JJ: Um, what are you doing in my mom's office?

Theresa: [Laughs]

[Cell phones ringing]

EJ: Yes?

Justin: Kiriakis.

EJ: What? [Laughs]

Justin: My condolences. You are now in complete control of DiMera enterprises.

[EJ bangs on table]

[Both laughing]

EJ: He's out!

Justin: Congratulations, EJ.

EJ: Thank you. Thank you!

Justin: You're welcome. You're welcome.

EJ: Oh!

Justin: Look, I have to get going. Um, but listen, before I go, I need to tell you something. I found out that Stefano, for tax shelter purposes, put the deed of this house in the name of one of his corporations. So now, not only did you take his company, you now also own his home. Cheerio.

EJ: There are going to be some changes around here, old man. And you--you--are going to be the first to go. [Laughs]

[Monitors beeping rapidly]

Sami: Wha--

Kate: It's Sami. He's reacting to Sami.

Sami: Oh, stop it, Kate. I saved his life, okay?

Daniel: Okay, don't talk. Shh, don't talk.

Sami: Someone was trying to kill him, and then--

Daniel: Okay, can you please get her out of here, please?

Abe: Yeah.

Daniel: Get her out.

Sami: No.

Kate: Sami, can't you see what you're doing to him? Go.

Abe: Let's go, let's go.

Gabi: Hey.

Sami: No way, okay? It was not because of me. Rafe would never react to me like that. Never.

Don't you

Jennifer: What-- give me a break.

JJ: Mom, no, no-- I-I just came back for my backpack. I have no idea what she's doing here.

Theresa: I can explain. I'm your new assistant.

Daniel: Well, his vitals are, uh, are good. I'm gonna leave him alone with you for a little bit. Uh, just sit here. Don't talk. Let him set the pace, and offer as little stimulation as possible. His just seeing you at his side is gonna be enough.

Gabi: Thank you.

Sami: Hey, hey, how is he?

Daniel: He's, uh, fine. Yeah.

Abe: Can I go in?

Daniel: Uh, yeah, yeah. But don't say anything. Just be with him.

Abe: All right.

Daniel: Okay. Not you.

Sami: What? No, I just have to go in there. I have to make sure that-- you know, see for myself that he's okay.

Daniel: No, you don't. That big spike in Rafe's heart rate and blood pressure seems to be caused by seeing you.

Sami: Come on. That's ridiculous. I saved his life.

Daniel: Okay, well, he doesn't know that. Now he is starting a very long, slow process, and I'm not gonna let you or anyone else who upsets him near him.

Sami: All right. All right, I'll give him a few minutes to calm down.

Daniel: Yeah? Sami, I am not gonna let you near him until I decide it presents no medical or psychological risk. Sami?

Sami: Okay. Okay.

Stefano: [Laughing] It's been a while, I know.

EJ: Oh, look. Prodigal father returns.

Stefano: Hello, my son. You remember my friend, Cecily, no?

EJ: Gwendolyn's in the car, is she?

[Both chuckling]

Cecily: Very amusing. I'm sure.

EJ: Well, if you would excuse me, um, Cecily... I need to have a word with my father in private.

Stefano: All right. Sweetheart, uh, Harold will show you a room that you can powder your nose.

Cecily: [Laughs] All right. Take your time.

Stefano: Ay, yi, yi, yi, yi, yi, yi. Hmm. Well, I must say. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. It's, uh-- it's good to be home.

EJ: It is good, isn't it? But it's not home. Don't make yourself too comfortable, father. Once your little friend gets back from powdering her nose, I want you out of my house.

Stefano: [Laughs] That's a good joke. Ay, yi, yi.
