Abigail: By the way, Daniel, I already knew that you were the world's greatest guy way before you came to Cameron's rescue at the strip club the other night. But thank you for proving my point.
Daniel: Well, I'm glad I could help. Cameron seems like a pretty good guy himself, yeah.
Abigail: Yeah. Okay, well, I'll let you know how it goes, Mom.
Daniel: Wow, she--she got some plans with Cameron tonight?
Jennifer: Not exactly, but she is working on it.
Daniel: Oh, yeah? Well, you got plans tonight.
Daniel: So you better clear your schedule.
Jennifer: I do? Really? Wow, okay. For how long?
Daniel: Well, all night.
Cameron: Abigail. [Clears throat]
Abigail: Hi, Cameron.
Cameron: How are you?
Abigail: I'm okay. Came by to see my mom. And I got your message, but I wasn't sure what it was about.
Cameron: Oh, well, you-- I wanted to know if you were free tonight.
Abigail: Uh, yeah. That all you wanted?
Cameron: No. [Clears throat] Definitely not.
Abe: [Chuckles] Yeah, so it's--it's good news that this private foundation wants to inject new funds into your prison release program...
Abe: But they are going to vet you pretty thoroughly to see if what you've been doing so far has been successful. And you only have Vargas in the program as of now, so how's that working out?
Eric: It's not exactly what I expected.
Vargas: This is a gentle reminder, Nick. That's all. I'm in a hurry for results.
Nick: If you want me to take your 30k and triple it, Vargas--
Vargas: Triple and then some, Nicky.
Nick: If you want me to do that for you, you have to let me do the work and stop calling me to tell me to do the work.
Vargas: Look, I went from one prison to another, and I am stuck here until you deliver. Do not disappoint me.
Nick: Vargas? [Exhales]
Nicole: Am I...interrupting?
EJ: Samantha... there must be $30,000 here.
Sami: Huh. That much, huh?
EJ: Would you care to tell me what it is exactly?
Sami: Well, it's what you just said. It's $30,000.
Sami: It's not mine.
EJ: No, I didn't think it was. Whose is it?
Sami: It's Nick's. I stole it. Sonny and I were desperately trying to get the flash drives, and when we finally did, I was so excited. But I had seen Nick stash something in his briefcase, and I just--I don't know. It made me suspicious. I wanted to figure out what it was, so I took a look, and it was the money. So--I don't know, I just took it.
EJ: Okay, well, how did Nick get his hands on this amount of money?
Sami: That is an excellent question. We should really think about that.
EJ: Why did you take it?
Sami: I don't know. I'm sorry. I wasn't gonna spend it or anything. I just--I just grabbed it impulsively, you know? I mean, maybe it wasn't the best decision I've ever made.
EJ: Samantha, what exactly do you think Nick is gonna do when he finds out that his $30,000 is missing? He's gonna go nuts.
Sami: You think?
Nick: Now, this could be it. I could put the money here.
[Cell phone rings]
Nick: Yo, I got the message the first time, okay?
Rafe: Well, you didn't get a message from me, Nick.
Nick: What--Rafe? [Chuckles] I'm so sorry. I thought this was a work call. It's been a crazy day.
Rafe: Well, listen, can you put aside your day for a few minutes and meet me at the coffee house?
Nick: You know, to be honest, I'm--I'm kind of in the middle of, like, a dozen things, Rafe.
Rafe: It's about my sister. Otherwise, I can come over there to discuss this.
Nick: Uh, I'll be--I'll be there in ten.
It fits in your purse, gives you maximum protection.
Kate: All in one pretty, little package.
Kate: Take credit cards?
Jennifer: Okay, so is this wedding-related? I mean--
Jennifer: I mean, Kristen and Brady's wedding--stop. Because, you know, we're standing up for them, we have responsibilities.
Daniel: Oh, no, no, no. These plans--these plans are about us.
Jennifer: Oh, I like that.
Jennifer: Are they food-related? 'Cause I like that too.
Daniel: Really good food, yeah, yeah. Who's your favorite chef?
Jennifer: Mark Fitkowski. You know that. I never shut up about him.
Daniel: No, you don't. I don't want to get you started on that, but this is a rhetorical question.
Jennifer: Then why are you asking me again, Daniel Jonas?
Daniel: Because I want you--I just want you to promise me that you're not gonna get all giddy like a schoolgirl and ask for an autograph when you meet him.
Jennifer: What? Are you se--he's gonna be here in Salem?
Daniel: Yeah, opened a pop-up restaurant right here, and tickets are, like, impossible to get unless, you know, you're me.
Jennifer: What? [Gasps] Oh, my gosh. You're incredible. That is so incredible. Really?
Jennifer: Oh, my goodness. My daughter was right about you.
Daniel: Mm, what do you mean? How so?
Jennifer: You're just, like, the best guy ever.
Jennifer: And, by the way, I'm--I'm really starving.
Daniel: Yeah, you're always starving. You ever not hungry?
Jennifer: That's 'cause you said my favorite chef's name. Thank you.
Cameron: Well... [Clears throat] I was thinking burgers at the Brady pub, and then a walk on the waterfront? [Stammers] I know, it's not the most exciting date ever.
Abigail: What? No. Oh, God, I'm sorry. No, is that what you think? I would love that.
Cameron: I hope so. I mean, paying off my mom's debt is kind of eating into my impulsive trips-to-Paris ideas.
Abigail: [Chuckles] Well, who needs trips to Paris when you have the Brady pub?
Cameron: So we're on?
Abigail: Yes, absolutely.
Cameron: Awesome. Well, I can't wait.
Daniel: Uh, hey, Cameron, do you--do you have five minutes to consult on a case?
Cameron: Yes, I do, yeah. So, later?
Abigail: Yes, later.
Daniel: All right, doctor, come on, let's go. Move it, move it, move it.
Abigail: See ya.
Jennifer: Hmm. Successful bump-in?
Abigail: The best. [Sighs]
Jennifer: Oh, my.
Abe: So you wanna talk about how Vargas is doing?
Eric: Well, I have great hopes for this program and its future.
Abe: That doesn't answer my question.
Eric: Well, I have high hopes for Vargas too. You know, the thing is that people who fund these type of programs, they think that it's a very smooth transition into the civilian world. Well, you know, they're wrong. It takes a lot of work and time. It's--it's a process.
Abe: [Inhales] Um... [Chuckles] Eric, you're going to heroic lengths to keep this vague. So maybe I'll just flat-out ask this instead. How much does your hesitation about Vargas have to do with Nicole?
Vargas: I thought you quit, Nicole.
Nicole: I did. But Father Eric and I worked things out, so now I'm back. I'm surprised you didn't know that.
Vargas: No. So I guess you and I, we-- we just agree to stay out of each other's way, right?
Nicole: One more thing, though. Don't you think we should chat about that call I walked in on? 'Cause I sure do.
Nick: Hey, Rafe. I don't--I don't have a ton of time. I'm working, so--
Rafe: I talked to Gabi a little while ago.
Rafe: I don't like the way she sounded.
Nick: Why? Gabi and I are--are great. We're--we're waiting for the baby, and--
Rafe: No, she's upset about you.
Nick: Why do you say that?
Rafe: [Chuckles] Listen to me, Nick. I'm Gabi's brother, but I'm also a cop, so I know a dodge when I see one.
Nick: Gabi is my world. I'm doing everything I can to protect her.
Rafe: Protect her? Protect her from what? I'll be right back.
Abe: You know, the reason I ask about Nicole is I happened to see a kind of intense moment between her and Vargas earlier.
Eric: Well, you know what? They work close together. I guess it's bound to happen.
Abe: Okay. I hear you. Hey, you gonna be over at the church a little later today?
Eric: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Abe: Well, I'm gonna head over to the Police Station. I'm doing some consulting work there. I won't be long, but can I drop by the Rectory and show you some of the things I received from the donors?
Eric: Of course. I should be there all afternoon. It should be quiet.
Vargas: What is it you wanna talk about, Nicole? Huh? What do you think that you heard?
Nicole: A con. Oh, and by the way, your little Eddie Haskell act with Father Eric? It's as transparent as a glass of water.
Vargas: Oh, damn. So you can see right through me now, huh?
Nicole: Yeah, I can, and I think the real you is the guy I heard on the phone call right there making demands, hinting that things won't go well if you don't get what you want.
Vargas: Well, I sure know what you want, Nicole, and that's to cause trouble.
Nicole: Oh, yeah, there it is, turning it on me. Well, you are highly mistaken if you think Father Eric is falling for your pathetic little act any more than I am. Oh, and if I detect that Father Eric's a little slow on the uptake this time, I'll be sure to get him up to speed.
Vargas: What are you gonna tell him? Huh? And think hard about what you're gonna say, Nicole, very hard.
Nicole: Are you threatening me?
Sami: Okay, fine. Obviously, stealing Nick Fallon's money doesn't help anything.
EJ: Obviously not, Samantha. Now he has $30,000 to hold over your head.
Sami: I'll sneak back in his room. I'll put it back, okay?
EJ: Absolutely--you will not do that. You will not. Promise me, please?
Sami: Okay, I promise.
EJ: You do understand how risky that is? Look, I-I--Samantha, I'd rather you took all the money and spent it than do that. I'll tell you what, here's an idea. Why don't you take all that money down to the bank and have them change it into $1 bills. And then you'll have a lifetime supply of tips for your strip clubs.
Sami: Kristen told you about that, huh? It served a purpose.
EJ: Yeah. So I heard.
Sami: EJ, come on. It was for a noble cause.
EJ: Indeed. No, I appreciate everybody going to Cameron's rescue including your ex, who I gather was one of the stars of the show. Is that why you didn't tell me about him?
Nick: It's just an expression, Rafe, all right? I'm just--I'm trying to express to you how deep my feelings are for Gabi, and I'm frustrated because I shouldn't have to do that anymore.
Rafe: Right. Yeah. Well, when I saw Gabi, she had just seen Will.
Rafe: Nick. Please. You know, I-I just have the feeling that Gabi feels as though she is caught between you and Will because you are not comfortable with him spending time with his baby.
Nick: What do you want from me, Rafe?
Rafe: I wanna understand why, why you did not want him to be with his own child.
Nick: Why are you so damn protective of Will? I'm married to Gabi.
Nick: I'm your brother-in-law. I'm the one who's gonna be raising your niece. What is Will to you anyway? He's just a... [Exhales]
Rafe: Just a...a what?
Nick: Fine. You want me to say what I think Will is? [Laughs] I think it would be easier to say what I think he's not, which is a good person.
Rafe: [Laughs] Well, I've known Will for a long time, and I think we both know that's not true.
Nick: Does--does a good person go and--and take advantage of a girl that he used to date because he's feeling sexually confused? And then--and then, when he gets her pregnant, go out and rush her out to get an abortion because--because he thinks that it's gonna ruin his relationship--
Rafe: Look, you're twisting the truth. You see that? You know it. I know it.
Nick: Rafe, you've been on the offensive since I got here. What am I supposed to do, just-- just deny everything that's right in front of my face?
Rafe: No, you're supposed to get your act together and look after my sister. But instead, you're running around. You are wasting time and energy trying to get Will out of the picture. And ultimately, it is hurting my sister. She comes first. Don't mess this up, okay?
Nick: I would never do that. And I don't know how many more ways I can say that to you for you to hear it and finally believe it.
[Door slams shut]
Kate: Wow, that seemed to go awfully well.
Sami: Wow, I'm impressed at how smoothly you managed to work Rafe into the conversation. And if I didn't know better, I'd think you were jealous. Except I do. I do know better. I know you better. And I know you know that Samantha Brady only has eyes for EJ DiMera. And I proved it by putting this on my finger.
EJ: Let me tell you something. If I was jealous, you would know.
Sami: [Chuckles] You know, actually, it's sort of an interesting thing to point out that Rafe found out about our engagement that night.
EJ: He did?
EJ: What did he say? How did he take it?
Sami: Hm. I didn't notice. Sort of distracted by other things.
EJ: Yeah, maybe all those half-naked men dancing around.
Sami: [Laughs] I don't know what you're talking about.
Sami: I was busy texting my fiancé, begging him to come home to me.
Rafe: I asked him some questions. He got anxious, defensive. When he did, he started to say that he's--
Kate: What? What did he start to say?
[Cell phone rings]
Rafe: Oh, I don't know. Oh, God. All right, that's the station. I gotta deal with this. Will I see you later?
Kate: Um, yes. You can count on that.
Rafe: Okay, good. What's in the bag?
Kate: This is a gift for me.
Rafe: Oh, yeah?
Kate: Mm-hmm. No!
Rafe: All right.
Rafe: You know what?
Rafe: You deserve it.
Kate: Thank you.
Sami: [Sighs] EJ, you make it so difficult for me to concentrate on my work.
EJ: We still have not worked out what we're going to do with the money that you stole.
Sami: Grabbed. I just grabbed it impulsively.
EJ: Okay, the money you grabbed impulsively. Look, I think the best way for us to handle it is just to put it to one side for the time being. We--you never know. Nick could've got that money legitimately, you know? Okay. I think, for the time being, the best policy is just to wait and see, okay?
Sami: Okay. [Sighs]
[Cell phone rings]
Sami: What the-- [Exhales] Hello?
Kate: Sami, it's Kate. Do you have a few minutes for a drop-by?
Kate: Yes, right now. I assume you're at the office, but don't worry. It's not about work. It's personal.
Daniel: I am off. I got plans tonight, so I gotta get outta here before a crisis.
Cameron: Same here.
Daniel: Oh, really? All right, well, you have some fun then.
Cameron: All right, same to you.
Maxine: Dr. Davis. You've got a phone call.
Cameron: Oh. Thanks, Maxine. This is Dr. Davis. [Clears throat] Yes. [Exhales] But you just--you just authorized an increase on my credit line just last week. I don't know what to say. Yes. Yes. [Clears throat] Yeah, I understand. Okay. [Exhales] I-I ordered flowers for Abigail and I for our dinner tonight, and my credit card was declined.
Maxine: I'm sorry.
Cameron: How can I take her to dinner if I can't-- [Exhales] I don't even have enough cash. [Clears throat]
Maxine: Well, I would offer you a loan but I'm living paycheck-to-paycheck myself these days.
Cameron: [Exhales] Thanks, Maxine. I wouldn't take it, but thank you.
Maxine: Abigail is a sweetheart. I'm sure she'll be understanding. Just level with her.
Cameron: I--no, I can't. I don't want her to feel bad for me. I'm just gonna make up an excuse and cancel the date.
Abigail: Oh, wait, no, no, no, Mom, you have to wear these. They are perfect with that dress.
Jennifer: Mm, are you sure?
Jennifer: Okay, all right. Well, here, you use this lip gloss. It's new, it's very pretty.
Abigail: Really? Okay. This is so fun. I feel like a high school kid getting ready for my first date.
Jennifer: Do you have butterflies? [Chuckles]
Abigail: With large wings, yes. [Laughs]
Jennifer: Honey, are you kidding me? You just be your wonderful self and you're gonna have a great time. You're gonna be just fine.
Abigail: [Sighs] I don't know, I'm not so wonderful around Cameron.
Jennifer: What? Why not?
Abigail: I don't know. I just get all anxious and self-conscious around him. I mean, not all the time, but... [Exhales] I don't know, I think it's just because we've had so many stops and starts.
Jennifer: I know, but that's okay. You know what? That's all in the past. What would possibly be holding you back now?
Abigail: Actually, I can't think of a thing.
Vargas: Why would I threaten you? I haven't done anything. So I don't want to be forced to explain myself to Father Eric just because you want to make trouble for me.
Nicole: Could you kindly take your hands off me, please?
Vargas: Because, like I said, I've done nothing wrong. But you can't say the same thing, though, can you?
Nicole: What the hell are you talking about?
Vargas: It means that you let yourself fall for the boss, and I'm not talking about God.
Nicole: Let go of me.
Vargas: What do you think Father Eric's gonna say when he finds out that the name you called out during sex is his? Hm?
Eric: What's going on here?
Nicole: I was just telling Vargas that I'm back, and we're figuring out how that's gonna work.
Vargas: That's right. I-I promise you, Father, I meant what I said when I apologized the other day. The last thing I wanna do is to blow this great opportunity that you've given me here. I made a mistake, a bad one, and--but I will make it up to you, as I'm sure Nicole will too. We're both gonna be real professional from now on, sir.
Nicole: Yeah...of course. And the past is the past. And, Eric, thank you for giving us both a chance to...
Eric: As far as I'm concerned, this subject is closed.
Vargas: For me too. I've actually gotta get back to the basement and finish some work, so...
Eric: Are you okay?
Nicole: Yeah. I mean, what happened between Vargas and me was a mistake. And like he said, nothing like that will ever happen again here or anywhere else.
Sami: So Kate said she's on her way over here. She wants to see me right now.
EJ: Okay, I can stay if you'd like.
Sami: Oh, no, I'm fine. It's just gonna be fun to deal with whatever Kate dishes out. But I'll see you later? Mwah. Oh, and thank you for not lecturing me too much about the money-grabbing thing and the strip club incident.
EJ: Mm-hmm. That's why you love me.
EJ: [Mimics dance beat]
Sami: [Laughs] EJ, stop it. [Laughs]
Daniel: I know. I'm late, I'm late.
Jennifer: I'm just checking. I can't wait to see you.
Daniel: Yeah, me too. I forgot to do something at work, and so, I just had to run back, so...
Jennifer: Oh, well, guess what. Parker's here. He's all set with Joanna, and he's settled in. He's great.
Daniel: Ah, that's great. Good.
Jennifer: You know what was so funny? You should've seen Abigail. She was so nervous, my strong, brave girl.
Daniel: What, about her date with Cameron? Why?
Jennifer: I don't know. I think she really likes him. She was so flustered. It was funny. But it was fun. We got ready together. We had a really good time.
Daniel: Oh, well, that's great. Well, let me go. The sooner I get off the phone, the sooner I can see you.
Jennifer: Okay, see you soon.
Daniel: All right. Mm, boom, all right. All right, later, Maxine.
Maxine: Dr. Jonas, I know you're in a hurry, but before you go, this may be none of my business, but I think there's some things you should know.
Sami: Oh, my God. I should not leave this...
Kate: Sami? Are we alone?
Cameron: [Exhales] Okay, I'm--I'm just not feeling well, Abigail, and I think it may be contagious. Then you should have called, Dr. Moron. [Sighs]
Abigail: [Clears throat]
[Knock at door]
Abigail: Oh? [Chuckles] Who were you expecting? I'm totally ready. I just have to grab my bag.
Cameron: [Clears throat] Abigail, I--
Jennifer: Oh, Cameron, hi. How are you?
Cameron: Hi. Hey.
Daniel: Oh, hello, guys.
Jennifer: Oh, hey!
Daniel: Hey, you know, don't run off too fast because Jennifer has a surprise for you two. Yeah, I hope you can cancel your own reservations wherever it is because you do not want to turn down this offer.
Abigail: Mom, what's up?
Jennifer: Um, I am gonna let Daniel tell you.
Daniel: You--you sure?
Daniel: Okay. Well, you know how your mom is a huge fan of chef Mark Fitkowski?
Abigail: Uh, kinda, since she never shuts up about him.
Daniel: I know, right? Right? Well, he's got this restaurant opening tonight in town, and tickets are scarce. But your mother, she called me to make reservations. Now, she wanted you two to have an amazing chef-prepared all-expenses-paid meal for your date tonight.
Cameron: Are you kidding?
Daniel: I-I wish I was, but I'm not because you know what? They're right here.
Abigail: Mom, wait, but-- but--but Chef Fitkowski's your favorite.
Jennifer: Yeah, he is, but--
Daniel: But, you know, her daughter is her more favorite-er.
Abigail: Are--are you--is that okay with you?
Cameron: Sure, that's great.
Cameron: Thank you, Jennifer.
Abigail: You are the best.
Jennifer: Oh, you're--you're so welcome, yes.
Abigail: Mom, thank you. I will see if maybe Chef Fitkowski can autograph a napkin for you.
Jennifer: Yes, I am counting on that, please.
Abigail: Are you ready?
Cameron: I'm--I'm ready, yeah. Thank you both so much.
Daniel: You are welcome. Now, go on, go on. Have fun. Go, go, go, go, go, go.
Jennifer: Tell him I said, "Hello."
Abigail: We will. He'll say, "Hi."
Cameron: Oh, my--
Abigail: Oh, my God! Okay.
Jennifer: Daniel Jonas?
Jennifer: What is the story behind my incredible generosity?
Eric: That sounds great. Thank you so much. All right, take care. Abe, is that the paperwork for potential donors?
Abe: Definitely, definitely. You know, if this thing with Vargas works out, could be a success story, so this won't hurt.
Eric: Yes, I just need to get something right.
Abe: Well, he is the test case after all.
Eric: Yes, I guess he is.
Abe: You know, Eric, the success of this project hinges on him.
Rafe: Good. Yeah, well, let me know what the D.A. says. Okay, thanks. EJ.
EJ: Rafe, I'm so glad that I ran into you. Look, I wanted to apologize. I-I had plans last night, and I didn't hear about your event until it was too late, so...
Rafe: Yeah. Oh, that's a real shame. It's right up your alley too.
EJ: Hm, I'll ignore that. Hard, though, to ignore all of those Facebook postings. You know, people have a lot to say about you and your perform--
Rafe: Yeah? Well, let me guess, that I missed my calling?
EJ: It's never too late.
Rafe: Yeah. Oh, I gotta tell you this whole thing, it was a real ego boost for me, though. I mean, people raving about my performance.
Rafe: Yeah. Especially your fiancée. I mean, she is a real wildcat that one. I mean, no one was cheering louder than her.
Sami: Yes. As it happens, I am alone. Why did you wanna see me so, um, urgently?
Kate: Oh, it wasn't urgent. Really, I just wanted to offer my condolences. [Scoffs] Oh, my God. I am so sorry. My congratulations on your engagement. Oh, I'm so sorry. No overstatement DiMera diamond?
Sami: [Scoffs] I'm surprised you turned up in person to offer your insincere wishes.
Kate: I'm actually very sincere about my happiness regarding your news.
Sami: Because you think it means I will stay away from your son.
Kate: Mm-hmm. Well, if you're talking about Lucas, he can't stand the sight of you anymore. I don't think he would be in any rush to be your husband any time soon.
Sami: So I'm going to save you the trouble. I don't need you to sit here and tell me all the reasons that you think my marriage is going to end in disaster.
Kate: [Laughs] Oh, come on! Why would I or anyone in their right mind think that your marriage is going to end in disaster? Oh, because once, EJ kidnapped your child and then let you believe that she was dead? Or--ooh! Oh. Or maybe it's the time that you tried to murder him. But seriously, hell, that was a long time ago. No reason at all to hold petty grudges, right?
Sami: Okay, obviously, you are not at your best since your marriage to Stefano imploded. But, Kate, just because you don't have anyone in your life does not--
Kate: Okay, Sami, why on earth would you think that I don't have anyone in my life?
Daniel: Parker, my man. Are you ready for some pizza? Look at that right there. Look at that.
Jennifer: Ooh, that looks so good.
Daniel: Whoa, whoa, whoa.
Daniel: Hey. Okay, no, I get it, I get it. I gave your gourmet dinner away to your daughter, so you're just gonna just take a piece of pizza, not even gonna wait for me to take this hot pizza to the table, are you?
Daniel: So you win?
Jennifer: I win. Thank you, I win. But I do think that was the most amazing, generous thing that you did for Abigail and Cameron. And I love you for that. Are you ready to watch a movie?
Daniel: I want bites of that pizza--yes, all right. All right.
Jennifer: Okay, mm.
Daniel: Come on, movie time.
Daniel: You ready? Get under here.
Jennifer: Okay, Parker, are you ready?
Daniel: Get under here.
Jennifer: Okay. Wait! You have to have a piece of pizza.
Daniel: Oh, my goodness. Look at this order and things to do. Let's get this pizza on.
Jennifer: That's for you. You ready?
Daniel: Let's go.
Jennifer: There we go. Mm. Here, one for you.
Daniel: I-I stole it.
Daniel: He's like, "no, I wanna watch the movie."
Jennifer: Okay, I'll take two.
Chef: Followed by dessert, which involves profiteroles filled with black pepper ice cream, topped with salted caramel sauce and shaved almonds.
Abigail: That sounds amazing.
Chef: I am so glad you guys could be here. I'm looking forward to cooking for you.
Abigail: Well, we are looking forward to eating.
Chef: I'll be back out with your server with an amuse-bouche.
Abigail: A what?
Cameron: Uh, something delicious, I would guess.
Cameron: [Clears throat]
Cameron: [Sighs] Mmm! I can smell that olive oil.
Abigail: Here. Taste it. It's probably good. I'll get you a good bite.
Abigail: [Laughs] Good?
Cameron: It's very good.
Abigail: So I was thinking.
Abigail: What do you say, when we're done here, we come up with a special dessert all on our own?
Abe: All right. Well, I'll see you soon, huh?
Eric: Sounds good. Thank you.
Nicole: [Clears throat]
Eric: Nicole. Hey, great, can you get Vargas for me, please?
Eric: Because I need him.
Nicole: No, you don't. You don't need him for anything. Don't you understand that?
Eric: What are you talking about, Nicole?
Nicole: You can't trust him. He's not who you think.
EJ: Actually, Rafe, could you hold on? I'm sorry, just a couple of quick things. I know what you and the other guys did was for Cameron, and I appreciate that. I wish you'd come to me for help, but I know what you did was good-hearted, and so, I would just like to say thank you.
Rafe: Whatever. So what is it you wanted to talk to me about?
Sami: Well, Kate, I'm pretty sure you're not seeing anyone because if you were, you'd have sent out a press release. And at the very least, you'd be lording it over Stefano. So, obviously, you're here because you're bored and, as the kids call it, "hard up." So...anything else? Or are we through?
Kate: Oh, we will be as soon as you open your engagement gift.
Nick: So, yes, I'm--I'm definitely interested in--in making the investment. Can I--can I do that online? Maximum 1,500? And what if I did it in person? Really? And cash? I understand. Well, no, I-I definitely don't wanna lose my deposit, so I will be there close of business day today with the rest of the money. Thank you. Okay. Where's the money? Where the hell is the money?
Kate: Go ahead. Open it.
