Jennifer: What? Daniel, what? What's wrong?
Daniel: Oh, hey.
Daniel: I, uh... I just--I had a bad dream that you had said that you didn't love me and that what we had didn't mean anything.
Jennifer: Oh, no, no.
Daniel: And Jack was the only one that you'd...
Daniel: Really loved, and we--
Jennifer: No, sweetheart. No, no, no. Listen to me. This is--this is what's real, okay? You just--you just had a bad dream. Our love is real.
[Knock at door]
Chloe: Daniel? It's Chloe.
Abe: So Vargas fixed this on his own, huh?
Abe: You know, it's funny. There's not a word in his file that he's good with tools.
Nicole: Well, you can still give him a good evaluation, right?
Abe: Hey, I'm just doing a follow-up for the outreach program. No evaluation. Just what he's doing. Does he have a job? Things like that.
Nicole: You know, he was hired here as a handyman for the parish.
Abe: Yeah, I saw that. It seems like he's doing fine.
Nicole: You don't sound convinced.
Abe: I'm just gathering facts. I am curious, though. How are you handling being around a hardcore ex-con?
[Knock at door]
Chloe: Daniel? Are you here? It's important. Hello?
Chloe: Hey. Oh, I woke you. I'm sorry. It's just, um, I have a surprise for you.
Daniel: Oh, come here. Hey. Hey, you. Oh, my gosh. Oh.
Brady: That's terrific. Thank you so much. I appreciate it. All right. Bye-bye.
Kristen: While you're busy appreciating things, why don't you try appreciating this?
Brady: Oh, I like that. Although I appreciate what's underneath it even more.
Kristen: You have a one-track mind in the morning.
Kristen: You know that?
Brady: Night, morning, whatever.
Kristen: It's one of the things I like about you.
Kristen: So, who were you talking to?
Brady: Oh, Dr. Ellis.
Brady: The results of my MRI came back and, uh, apparently I'm fine. No residual damage from the mugging whatsoever, so...
Kristen: How about $5,000 in unmarked bills in exchange for the photos? And I mean I want all the photos, all the copies of the photos, including those on the hard drive. And then you have a choice to make. You can either keep your mouth shut or I can shut it for you, permanently. Do we have a deal?
Brady: So, apparently, sometimes a headache is just a headache.
Kristen: Oh, that's so good. That's great news.
Kristen: We've got to celebrate, right?
Brady: What do you want to do?
Kristen: Oh, I don't know. I see it getting physical, though.
Brady: Uh-huh, me too. You thought you were dressed for the day too.
Kristen: I did. Oh, come here.
Brady: Seriously? Come on.
Kristen: Okay, you know what? You stay right here, okay? Don't move a muscle. I'm gonna go get rid of whoever has such horrible timing, okay?
Brady: Thank you.
Kristen: Hi. What are you doing here?
Hope: I've got some good news. We may have caught one of the muggers who put Brady in the hospital.
Nancy: Honestly, I can never find a place to park. I don't know--
Daniel: My goodness. You know what? Can I ask you something? Look at you. Are you getting taller?
Daniel: You are? And I think--are you getting stronger?
Daniel: Oh, my goodness. Let me see you flex that muscle. Let me check that out. Oh, yeah, let me feel those pipes. Ooh. Oh, yeah. You're definitely getting stronger, for sure. So how was New York city?
Chloe: Oh, you know, I'm sure we'll have lots of time to talk about that.
Nancy: Oh, absolutely.
Daniel: Well, now, I put, uh, some of your things on the table in there, so it shouldn't take long to pack.
Nancy: Uh, you know, Daniel, I-I mean, I haven't been around, and I'm sort of out of it, and it--it could be jet lag and all, but, you know, I still don't understand why Chloe had to move out.
Daniel: Oh, that's okay. Chloe knows. So, she can explain. I have the funniest ball to show you, you know that?
Nancy: Uh, you know, Daniel, uh, after everything and-- how are you?
Lucas: Oh! There she is. Look at you. The woman of the hour! The woman of the year! I can't believe it. Oh, I'm so happy. You did it! You got the message and you dumped Daniel. I mean, you've got to be feeling fantastic about yourself, right?
Hope: You don't mind if I come in, do you? Is Brady here?
Kristen: Uh, how'd you find the guy?
Hope: Well, last night, there was a mugging near the location you two were attacked and, well, we practically caught the guy in the act.
Kristen: What's his name?
Hope: Well, I'm not promising anything, but when we started asking questions about previous muggings, he got really desperate.
Kristen: Yeah, but being desperate doesn't mean that he necessarily did it, right?
Hope: Kristen, he fits the general description of one of the guys who attacked Brady.
Hope: Which is why I'm here. I'd like the two of you to come down to the station, take a look.
Brady: Let's do it.
Hope: Hey, Brady. Great. I was beginning to think you weren't here.
Brady: Well, I'm here. I'm here, and I want to see this guy get what's coming to him. This is good. He's gonna have a heart attack when he see us, won't he?
Nicole: That's a really weird question, since you know I'm an ex-con too.
Abe: What I meant was, Vargas did ten years. Ten hard years.
Nicole: Where was I, in a country club?
Abe: You know what I was saying, but if you don't want to talk about it--
Nicole: No, it's fine. We can talk about it. You know, when Eric first mentioned this outreach program, I was like, no way. I mean, to have dangerous men living in extra rooms here? Give me a break.
Abe: Trouble does seem to follow ex-cons.
Nicole: Tell me about it. But Vargas, he's--he's doing great. Eric was right, and I was wrong, as usual. But Vargas wants to put the past in the past and keep it there. I think he really wants to make something of himself.
Abe: So, how's that going?
Nicole: Great. I mean, he's a pro at--you know what? Let me go get him and you can see for yourself. Be right back.
Victor: Maggie, I need to see you right--what happened? I go away for one night and everything comes tumbling down like Jericho! What's going on with Daniel? What the hell did that woman do to him?
Daniel: How am I? I'm fine, Nancy. Yeah. Look at this. Look at this funny ball with the holes. You know, when it gets warmer, we're gonna play a little baseball, and I'm gonna teach you how to throw that thing. What do you think?
Nancy: Daniel, we need to talk about the elephant in the room. Daniel, look. I don't know everything that went on. I mean, Chloe did have to tell me why I had to bring Parker back ASAP, and, I mean, this thing with you and Jennifer, it's just--well, I have to tell you, I have had a lot of run-ins with the Horton family myself, and though they'd like to make you believe that butter wouldn't melt in their mouth, well, Jennifer is no saint. She is a Horton, and she would do the same...thing.
Daniel: I think I'm gonna take Parker out for some time alone, so we won't be in your way while you pack. And thank you for bringing Parker home.
Chloe: My pleasure.
Daniel: Well, I'm sure it'll speed things up if you stay here with Nancy, and that way, you both may be gone by the time we get back. Parker, I'm gonna go change my clothes, get my wallet, get my keys, and then we're gonna go for a walk. What do you think?
Daniel: All right, let's do it. Take care, buddy. I'll see you in a bit. All right.
Nancy: Sweetheart. He is in some kind of a mood.
Chloe: Well, yeah. He'll get over it, and he'll get over her, and I will be here with our son.
Nancy: Chloe, if Jennifer says one word, Daniel will never forgive you. Using Parker as blackmail?
Chloe: Jennifer won't say a word. She knows the consequences.
Lucas: All right, this calls for a toast. I mean, it should be champagne right now, but I'm in AA, and it's early, so here we go. Here's to you, making the smartest decision of your life. Now, look, I'm not gonna tell you I told you so, okay? I wouldn't do that. But I am the one who told you from the very beginning that he was all wrong for you, right? Remember that? From day one, I said that. The guy's a user and a taker, and you don't need that, Jennifer. You don't. Look, you know, it's, uh, it's kind of weird. Sami did this, uh, did this 180 on me, actually, and, uh--you know, maybe you don't want to hear about Sami right now, and that's fine, but my point is, is that, uh, Rafe--Rafe is a great guy, he's available, and I was thinking maybe, you know, I could set you guys up on a date.
Jennifer: Really, Lucas?
Lucas: It's too soon, right? Is that it? I understand. I know. I mean, sometimes when you do the right thing, it still hurts. But you did it, Jennifer. You did it. You cut Daniel Jonas to the bone, and you left him to bleed on the street.
Jennifer: [Gasps] Oh!
Maggie: How Jennifer could treat Daniel like that, to say the things that she said--oh! Oh, God. I mean, she can't get past Jack. That's one thing. But to hurt the man who loves her, it was so vicious! It was so wrong!
Victor: You're damn right it was. And you know who's partly to blame? Me. I encouraged him every chance that I got. I stood right here in this room and told him he could trust that bitch, how she was gonna make him so happy. Unbelievable. What the hell is wrong with that woman?
Maggie: She says she can't get past her love for Jack.
Victor: Well, then she should have told him that on day one! He gave her all the time and all the space that she needed, and how does she repay him? She leads him on and then dumps him like so much garbage. Oh, it's a good thing it was you that went over there and gave her what for. If it was me--
Victor: Maggie, I'm sorry. He's your son. His heart's broken, and so is yours. I'm so sorry.
Lucas: I'm sorry, okay? I guess this hit you a little harder than I thought.
Jennifer: No, it's, um, it's just like you said. You know, sometimes when you do the right thing, it, you know, it still hurts.
Lucas: I'm fine, I'm fine. You're gonna be okay, though, right?
Jennifer: Yes, of course.
Lucas: Because we're strong. And I've been down the same road myself many times, but you did really good. I mean, it's not like Daniel Jonas was the real thing anyway, right?
Jennifer: I think that I was just fooling myself to think that--that we had a chance, really. Um, reality is not always what you want it to be, huh?
Lucas: Yeah, no kidding. But you got wise. You know, you got wise sooner than later. That's what's important. Now you don't have to deal with that piece of--
Jennifer: You know, can we just not just have a whole day of bashing Daniel, really?
Lucas: Yeah. I'm sorry.
Jennifer: Because I was cruel to him, Lucas. I-I was--I was more than cruel. So, he is not a bad man. He's just the wrong man for me.
Lucas: Look, I don't want to argue right now. I mean, I think he's a bad man. Whatever. Just, never mind, okay? Um, why don't you forget your run, and we'll--we'll catch a movie or something?
Jennifer: Uh, no, that's--
Lucas: We'll pig out on popcorn.
Jennifer: You know what? That's really sweet, but I have a million things to do today, and I really, really need to run, just to clear my head.
Lucas: Are you sure?
Jennifer: What about a rain check?
Lucas: Are you sure that you're gonna be okay?
Jennifer: Yes, I'm--I'm okay. I'm gonna be fine. Come on. Besides, I know how much you care about me, and I know how much you love me.
Lucas: I do.
Jennifer: Yes, you do.
Lucas: Yep, and you also know that I'm happy as hell, right?
Jennifer: Yes, I know that too.
Lucas: All right, bye.
Jennifer: Love you.
Lucas: Love you too.
Nancy: Oh. [Sighs] I know I have aspirin in here somewhere.
Chloe: Hold on. Look, here, I have some.
Nancy: Oh, thank you. My purse is such a mess.
Chloe: I'm sorry I made you rush back like this. I know that Brazil is a long trip.
Nancy: Oh! It's okay, sweetheart. I am not sure that we could have kept pretending that we were still in New York.
Chloe: I know. Parker's becoming more and more talkative.
Nancy: Listen, are you sure that Jennifer's not gonna say anything? I mean, just one word from her, and, well--
Chloe: She's not gonna say anything. Trust me, if you'd heard some of the things she said to him at the hospital, she is committed, and so am I.
Nancy: Where are you going now?
Chloe: Well, I think it would be a good idea to go spend some time with my son and his daddy.
Nancy: No! Daniel said he wants to spend some alone time with Parker.
Chloe: Yeah, well, two's company and three's a family.
Daniel: Well, there you go. Just like that. Try that. Oh! Whoa, that was good. That was real good. You're better at this than I am. Try that one.
Daniel: Oh, that was good. That was really--you are amazing. You know that, right?
Parker: It almost bumps into the teddy bear.
Daniel: I know, but you're so amazing, it didn't.
Parker: A cow.
Daniel: You know that?
Daniel: Yeah, it is a cat. How was your trip?
Parker: The cat--a cat is hiding, and the cow is hiding.
Daniel: I know they're hiding. Were you hiding anywhere on your little trip? Did you have fun in New York?
Daniel: Yeah, I'll bet you did. Yeah.
Parker: I'm playing the app. I see the whole tree.
Daniel: Oh, yeah. You keep going, buddy, 'cause you are amazing. Well, I am glad you're back, you know that?
Daniel: I know. Oh, I'm so glad you're back.
Hope: Just be on the lookout for now. Don't worry about it. I'll deal with it when I get back. Right. Okay. All set?
Brady: Yeah. We'll be right behind you.
Hope: Perfect. Hopefully, uh, you'll both make a positive I.D. On this guy, and we'll have this signed, sealed, and delivered before noon.
Brady: Sounds good.
Hope: Perfect. I'll see you both down at the station.
Brady: All right.
Kristen: All right, so, uh, I'm gonna meet you there, okay?
Brady: Wait. Why?
Kristen: Well, because this whole I.D. Thing is probably gonna take a while, and I'm probably gonna have to go straight from the station to my office, so I'm just gonna take my--
Brady: Oh, no, no, no, no, no, you're not. No, you're not. You're crazy. There's construction down there by the station right now. The traffic is unbelievable. I can just drop you off at the office, it's no big deal.
Kristen: Brady, I really think it's best if I can take my--
Brady: Listen, listen. I wound up in the hospital, but we were in this together. You should be there. I want you there, riding shotgun. I remember the day my doctor said I had diabetes.
Abe: So you know, Father Eric will be back later in the week.
Vargas: Uh, yeah. I think he said, uh, maybe Thursday, yeah.
Nicole: I can't find Vargas, but--oh! Hi! There he is.
Vargas: Hey, Nicole. Uh, Mr. Carver here was just telling me that, uh, you were looking for me, so we must have just passed each other.
Nicole: Yep. Well, I'm glad you got to meet Abe.
Abe: Yeah, well, me too. I'm--I'm glad I did, and he seems to be doing fine here. You know, uh, just in case, if there's a problem, feel free to give me a call while Father Eric's away.
Vargas: Well, thanks. Uh, you know, but I doubt anything will come up. Uh, so far, this is turning out to be a great place to get back on my feet.
Abe: Well, good, good. I'm glad. You know, uh, yeah, I've got to get to a meeting, so I will see you both later.
Nicole: Okay. Thanks, Abe.
Vargas: Take care.
Vargas: Nice guy, huh?
Nicole: He's one of the good ones, yes.
Vargas: Well, I should, uh, get back to work on that hot water heater, huh?
Vargas: Oh, yeah. Uh, do you know if, uh, Father Eric received the, uh, plans that EJ DiMera left for him?
Nicole: I'm sorry. EJ was here?
Vargas: Uh, yeah. You know him?
Nicole: Know him? I was married to him. Twice.
Kristen: [Gasps] Hi. Hi.
Hope: Where's Brady?
Kristen: He's looking for a parking spot.
Hope: What are you looking for on my desk?
Kristen: I was so excited that maybe you'd caught the guy that hurt my Brady that I just-- I couldn't contain myself. I just was hoping I'd see a photo or a mug shot.
Hope: Yeah, well, a police detective's desk isn't fair game.
Kristen: I know. I'm so sorry.
Hope: As for the mug shot, no, it's not here...yet. It'll come. Why don't we wait for Brady?
Victor: I'm sorry I blew up like that. The last thing you needed is to deal with one of my long-winded tirades.
Maggie: It was just so hard, Victor. What I saw wasn't Jennifer. It wasn't the woman I've known all these years. I mean, that cruelty, it was so unlike--unless I've never--I never really knew her. Is that possible? Could I have been that wrong?
Victor: What we need to do now is concentrate on Daniel, make sure he knows that we're here for him, for anything at any time.
Maggie: Yeah, you're right. You're right.
Victor: And don't forget that I'm here for you too. I hate to see you like this. I just wish there was something that I could do.
Maggie: Hold me. [Crying]
Daniel: Oh, yeah. There you go, just like that. Whoa!
Parker: The cow waddles.
Daniel: I-I know. That was amazing. That was so good.
Chloe: Hey, boys.
Daniel: Hey, how, uh--look who's here, buddy.
Chloe: Hi. Hi, honey.
Daniel: So, uh, what are you--what are you doing here?
Chloe: Well, uh, I hope I'm not intruding on boy time.
Daniel: No, you're not. No, you're not.
Chloe: Well, Daniel, I just-- I wanted to say that I know that I've made a lot of mistakes, big ones, um, but the one time I did the right thing was when I found out that Parker was your son and I brought him here to Salem to be with you, so our family could be complete.
Daniel: Here, please. Have a seat.
Chloe: [Gasps] That looks fun.
Chloe: What are you doing, huh? Whoa!
Daniel: We got a new app here.
Chloe: He is mesmerized. You know you're never getting that thing back, right?
Daniel: Oh, I know.
Chloe: You're so fast at this. How'd you get to be so good, huh?
Daniel: Oh, my goodness. I don't know.
Parker: We got some fishes.
Daniel: I know it.
Chloe: Lots of fish.
Daniel: This kid here.
[Chloe laughs lightly]
Daniel: I'm here with Daphne oz, a model of healthy habits.
Chloe: What's that? It's blue, no? Oh. Can you show Mommy how to play this?
Daniel: Oh, my goodness. You know what? I think--
Chloe: What's wrong?
Daniel: No, I think I, uh, forgot my phone. I left it at my apartment. Um, I'm not on call, but just in case I have a surgical emergency--
Chloe: Yeah, no, fine. Uh, go. It's okay. I understand.
Daniel: All right.
Chloe: I'll take care of him.
Daniel: Okay, thanks. Thank you. All right. Mwah!
Chloe: Bye. We'll have fun without you.
Daniel: All right. See you.
Chloe: This is fun, right?
Daniel: See you.
Chloe: [Sighs] Yeah, it's just gonna take some time.
Vargas: Twice? You married that guy twice?
Nicole: It happens, okay? And it's ancient history.
Vargas: Well, yeah, okay. But, I mean, that guy?
Vargas: Oh, come on. I mean, you've got to know what kind of weight the DiMera family name carries in Statesville. It's sort of like what he carries here.
Nicole: I can't believe--mm, you know what? You're lucky. I am not gonna tell Father Eric you said that.
Vargas: Yeah, thanks.
Nicole: Look, I'm--I'm sorry I snapped, okay? It's just that everyone in town knows about me and EJ and our drama and what an idiot I was and he was, and I'm just not used to getting into it, okay? I'm sorry.
Vargas: Yeah, I guess while, uh, you were doing your drama, I was otherwise engaged.
Nicole: Right. Sorry.
Vargas: Uh, can I, uh, can I ask you a question? I mean, uh, no offence taken?
Nicole: About the DiMeras?
Vargas: No. About marrying the same guy twice. So, you get married, things turn sour, then you get divorced, and--
Nicole: And I get married again. Yes, I know, I sound like a whacko. But then it made sense to me. Looking back now--
Vargas: Not so much?
Nicole: Not so much. You know the definition of insanity, right? When you repeat things over and over again, hoping for a different result? Yep, that's me. Insane. Feel free to call me it anytime.
Vargas: Oh, no, no. You, uh, you seem pretty sane to me. All right. Well, I will, uh, I'll see ya.
Nicole: Whoa, hang on a second. You know, you've asked me so many questions, how about I ask you one?
Nicole: How come you're so easy to talk to?
Hope: One reason we think maybe this guy is our perp is that the minute we started asking about last November, he got really nervous. Sweating bullets, actually.
Kristen: But he didn't really admit to anything, did he?
Hope: No. No, not yet. But he has no alibi for the night of the mugging.
Jim: I got the sheet on that mugger, detective.
Hope: Thank you. Mug shot too?
Jim: Uh, yeah, it's right in front.
Hope: Great. Thank you, Jim. Here, have a seat. Take a look at this. What do you think?
Hope: Are you sure?
Kristen: That's one of the guys. That's--you know, he's the one that, uh--he tried to mug me, and he put Brady in the hospital.
Hope: You're sure about that?
Kristen: Yeah. I mean--I mean, it's been a while, for sure, but I think so. I definitely--he's one of them.
Kristen: The more I look at him, the more sure I am, that's the guy.
Hope: Kristen, take your time.
Hope: Really look at his face.
Kristen: I'm positive it's him.
Brady: Sorry. Hey, parking was--was murder out there.
Hope: Yeah, sorry about that.
Kristen: Look, look, look, look, look, is this great? Hope found the mugger. One of them, anyway. Look.
Hope: Have you ever seen this guy before?
Brady: No, no. Never.
Hope: This isn't the guy who attacked you? One of them?
Brady: No, no way.
Kristen: Honey, you didn't see him because he hit you from behind. I saw him. You didn't.
Hope: Wait--wait--wait a second. In your statement, you said you never got a good look at either one of them.
Kristen: Did I really? You know what? I was--I was probably in shock or something. I don't know. Maybe I was just unsettled or-- I don't know. I'm sorry. I guess it was worth a shot, right? Maybe you could drop me off at the office?
Brady: Yeah, sure.
Hope: Hey, hold on a second, guys. Uh, we just did a major update on our mug books last week. Since you're here, why don't you take a look? Who knows? Maybe we'll get lucky.
Brady: Yeah, sure. It couldn't hurt.
Kristen: Do we have a deal? Get the hell out of here.
Sy: It's not enough. It's not nearly enough.
Vargas: What, you think that I'm easy to talk to?
Nicole: You don't think you are?
Vargas: I, uh, never did. Uh, well, okay, look. I guess that's what happens when you, uh, you live in the same place for ten years and you got nothing much else to do except talk and listen.
Nicole: Right. I'm--I'm sorry.
Vargas: No. I mean, no need. Hell, you've probably heard a zillion prison sob stories in your day. Oh, and, you know, none of them are ever really guilty, right?
Nicole: Of course not. Wait a minute. Is that what you think I did? I gave you some marriage sob story?
Vargas: No, no. No, I--it sounded to me like you were just being honest, okay? I don't take you for the kind that, uh, is all about self-pity. You know, some people, they like to sit around and whine about how lousy their lives are, and some of them--some people just like to get up and go after it, like you.
Nicole: Yeah. I don't think I'm--I'm really the "get up and go after it" type, especially not right now, 'cause I wouldn't be in this job, right? I'm just settling for whatever comes.
Vargas: Oh, come on. Okay, look. You're regrouping, right? You got burned, and you stepped back, and now you're figuring out your next move, which is smart. You're a smart girl, Nicole. All right. Well, uh, yeah, I guess I should get back down to the basement and, uh, keep working on what I get paid for. I mean, I've got my own, uh, next move to figure out, you know?
Jennifer: Well, I-I know you are so busy with all of your papers and midterms and all the usual stuff, but I thought I could just, um, you know, come-- uh, come in for a day or so, or even--even just a day and, you know, we could go to dinner. Oh. No, no, honey, I completely understand. I mean, it was such a--such a, like, last-minute thing that I thought of anyway, so I--oh, no, no, you go. No, I know you're busy. I'm--I'm busy too. I have people waiting on me. Just busy, busy. You know your mom. Okay, I-I love you, honey. What, me? No, I'm fine. Yeah. Yeah, you just, uh, you just get to it, Mr. Scholar. I love you.
Nancy: Won't you come home, Bill Bailey? Won't you come home? She moans the whole night long I'll do the cookin', honey I'll pay the rent I know I've done you wrong do you remember that rainy evenin' I threw you out with nothin' but a fine-tooth comb?
Nancy: You know I'm to blame so ain't it a shame? Bill Bailey won't you please come Bill Bailey won't you please come hey, Bill Bailey won't you please come home?
Sy: Gotta do it. Got no choice. Yeah, good morning. Look, you don't know me, but we need to talk.
Kristen: It's kind of a waste of time.
Brady: Well, maybe a couple more.
Kristen: Yeah, okay. Mm-mm.
Kristen: No. I guess it's--it's kind of pointless.
Hope: Don't you want to keep looking?
Kristen: Well, I've been looking. You know, it's just that, after a while, they all start to look alike.
Sy: I did a good job for you, and I went the extra mile. After me and Henry busted up that Brady guy, I went to the hospital to make sure how he was doing, poke around a little. I seen his father, his wife... oh, that psychiatrist lady, uh, Evans, I think her name was. [Laughs] See? I'm a sharpie. I remember things.
Brady: That's one of the muggers, right there.
Hope: Are you sure?
Brady: Yeah. I'd know his face anywhere. I punched it.
Hope: Kristen, what about you? Recognize him?
Sy: Hello? Are you there?
Victor: Who is this?
Sy: Uh, we can get to all that stuff when we meet, okay? I've got some information I think you'll want to have.
Victor: What kind of information?
Sy: It's about your grandson Brady and that woman he's with, Kristen DiMera.
Jennifer: Hey, listen, I, uh, I really need to see you... now.
Chloe: So happy to have you home. Mwah! Sweetie, I missed you so much. Are you glad to be back in Salem?
Chloe: Um, uh, hey, honey, uh, hey, let's play a game, okay? Um, anytime anyone asks you where you went, uh, you tell them "New York," okay? You don't say "Brazil." You say "New York," all right? Can that be our special secret? [Sighs]
