Marlena: John does know that I want to talk to him. He doesn't want to talk to me.
Kristen: This is crazy.
[Knock at door]
Kristen: We live together. My family has to learn how we roll.
Brady: Yeah, yeah. We're rolling, we're rolling, we're rolling right along.
[Knock at door]
Kristen: [Gasps] Oh. Hi.
Brady: Who-- dad, I didn't know you were back in town. What are you doing here?
Chloe: What are you seeing?
Anne: They just hugged.
Chloe: They what?
Anne: Yeah, and they're still doing it. And this is no ordinary "how do you do," you know, friendly hug. Something big just went down between them, Chloe.
Chloe: "Something big just went down between them"? What the hell does that mean, Anne? Are they kissing?
Anne: No, but I think they're about to.
Chloe: Oh, my God! Then do something! Get out there and break it up!
Nurse lily: Dr. Jonas, can I talk to you about Mrs. Doherty in room 711?
Daniel: Yeah, Mrs. Doherty. Yeah, I changed her pain meds right after my rounds this morning.
Nurse lily: Oh, okay.
Maxine: They've been like that all day.
Kayla: Well, at least we have tonight.
Kayla: Hasn't slipped your mind, has it?
Maxine: Oh, oh, the ceremony, you mean.
Kayla: Oh, yeah, you mean the one where we're gonna honor you, Maxine, as nurse of the year, most deservedly so, I might add.
Maxine: Yeah, well, I don't know about "deservedly." But it'll make my kids happy anyway.
Kayla: As it should be. And given the way that Jenn and Daniel feel about you, it's a good opportunity to break the ice, you know? Party atmosphere. You know, bonding over their love and respect for you.
Maxine: Hmm. Couple of glasses of champagne won't hurt either.
Kayla: Well, whatever it takes. Just as long as they find their way back to each other tonight.
[Knocking on door]
Chloe: [Gasps] Mom!
Nancy: Hi, honey!
Nancy: How are you?
Chloe: Oh, I'm so glad you're here.
Nancy: Mm, well, my daughter and my grandson needed me.
Chloe: Oh, boy, do we ever need you. Let me grab that from you.
Nancy: Honey, you know that I love a good challenge.
Chloe: Ah, well, the goal is simple-- get rid of Jennifer Horton.
Nancy: Hmm. Well, I got rid of her brother, mike, so I'll-- no. We'll get rid of that boring Barbie too.
Eric: I know what you were starting to tell me the other day in the confessional.
Nicole: Then if you know, why won't you see it?
Eric: See what?
Nicole: What's right in front of you? [Sighs] Never mind.
Eric: Nicole, please help me! Help me see it. What's supposedly right in front of me?
Nicole: That's the thing. You are so smart... and naturally intuitive about people. So why can't you even come close to sensing what I'm feeling?
Maggie: That's a lotta luggage.
Brady: I'm moving out today. You knew that, right?
Maggie: I--it's just-- it's still a little jarring to me.
Victor: It's more than jarring to me. It's downright depressing.
Victor: Moving in with that wretched woman.
Maggie: Stop it, Victor!
Victor: Kristen DiMera, of all people! You know, if I didn't know better, I'd swear you were back on drugs.
Brady: And with that, I am outta here.
Maggie: Oh, no, wait. Before you go, Brady, um, would you write down your address for me? I'm making some muffins and I'll send them over to you.
Brady: Thank you. Here you go.
Victor: Good God! The DiMera mansion?
Victor: Is this your idea of a joke?
Brady: My mail's gonna be forwarded. It might take a couple days.
Victor: Forwarded to the bowels of hell, 'cause that's exactly where you're going!
Kristen: You had the locks changed, I trust.
Harold: As you wished, ms. DiMera.
Kristen: And the staff knows not to come back till tomorrow?
Harold: Yes, ma'am. Uh, if you'll excuse me, I'll finish opening up the house.
Kristen: It's been so long since I lived here. I might need a map.
Harold: A map? I'm not sure if we have one of those.
Kristen: It's a joke, Harold.
Harold: Ah, yes, ma'am. Of course.
Kristen: Yeah. Bye. Rising from the ashes... just like you, father.
Nancy: Oh, Chloe, he is such a precious little angel.
Chloe: He stopped crying the minute he saw you.
Nancy: He is so adorable. Oh, gimme another hug.
Nancy: Mm! Chloe, I can feel your ribcage.
Nancy: You've lost weight over this Daniel and Jennifer fiasco, haven't you?
Chloe: No. Okay, maybe a pound or two, but mainly, it's just given me a giant headache.
Nancy: Not to worry. Your mom has a doozy too. Let's see. Hmm. I have aspirin, calcium, and sleeping pills.
Chloe: Sleeping pills?
Nancy: Mm-hmm. Just have to make sure I don't mix them up. I have insomnia. My doctor says that all women of a--hmm, hmm--certain age will get it at one point or another. [Sighs] But these are like a little Godsend for me, knock me right out.
Chloe: I hope they're not addictive or anything.
Nancy: [Scoffs] Oh, don't be a worrywart. And do not worry about that meddlesome bitch Jennifer either. We shall put our little headachy heads together and come up with a remedy to get rid of her.
Chloe: And then I will have a clear path back to Daniel. And mom, trust me. It's not just for selfish reasons that I want him back. It's for parker too. He deserves to have a mom and dad who are together and love each other.
Nancy: About that, Chloe. Um-- and please don't get angry with me.
Chloe: Okay, you're starting to scare me.
Nancy: Sweetheart, I know that you want Jennifer out of your life, and I don't blame you, but... [Sighs] Getting Daniel back the way he was-- sweetheart, you can clear the path, you can get rid of the competition, but... you can't make someone love you. It just doesn't work that way.
Kayla: Well, I hope you cleared your schedule for tonight.
Jennifer: Tonight? What?
Kayla: Yeah! You remember. The party I'm hosting for Maxine, where we're honoring her as nurse of the year.
Jennifer: Yes. Uh, I need to talk to Maxine about that. I would love to go, but I can't make it.
Kayla: Oh. Previous engagement?
Kayla: You're not sick or anything.
Jennifer: No. If I were sick, I wouldn't be here.
Kayla: Well, great then! You're not busy and you're not sick, so you'll be there.
Maxine: I was just telling Kayla. My kids are making a much bigger deal out of this than I am.
Daniel: Your, uh--your kids are very proud of you. You know, we all are, Maxine.
Maxine: Aw, that means a whole lot to me. So I'll see you tonight then.
Daniel: Uh, uh, Maxine. Um... you know how happy I am for you about this award. Um, but I'm sorry, I don't think I'm gonna be able to make it.
Victor: It's an abomination, Brady. I mean, it's bad enough you're moving in with that woman, but to move into the-- the DiMera house of horrors? Turns my stomach!
Maggie: Brady, I don't understand. I know you're crazy about this woman. But living under Stefano's roof?
Brady: Kristen--Kristen needs to be there. I love her, so I'm gonna be there with her.
Victor: How touching. I suppose if she needed to be on Pluto, you'd move there with her too... even though there's no water or oxygen and you'd drop dead immediately.
Maggie: Victor, calm down. Please?
Victor: Oh, good God.
Maggie: [Sighs] So does this mean that you're gonna be stepping down from your position at titan as well?
Brady: I don't see why I should. I mean, I'm not gonna work out of that home, and the new safeguards are up and running since the last security breach. So the company will not be comprised. That, I can promise you, grandfather.
Victor: Yeah, well, I'll promise you something too. You walk out that door, don't even think of coming back.
Kristen: Hmm. Well, look who's here. Aren't you gonna welcome back home?
Eric: I'm sorry. You--you keep telling me I should be-- I should be getting something. And maybe I'm being really... dense, and I just have no I-- idea what it is that you're trying to tell--
Ciara: Father Eric, look. I made this in first communion class.
Eric: Oh, that's-- that is beautiful. Thank you. Is that God or Jesus?
Ciara: It's you.
Eric: Me? [Laughs]
Ciara: 'Cause I love you so much.
Eric: I love you too, Ciara.
Ciara: And I was thinking--
Ciara: I better not tell you.
Eric: No, what were you gonna say, Ciara?
Ciara: That when I grow up... I want to marry you.
Eric: [Laughs] Oh, Ciara.
Ciara: I knew it. You don't wanna marry me, do you?
Nancy: Chloe... sweetheart, a lot has happened since Daniel loved you before.
Chloe: I know that a lot has happened, okay? But that's all in the past. What matters is now. Look, I just want my son to have a mother and father who are together and who love each other like you and dad do.
Nancy: You know we love you so much, and we'd do anything for you.
Chloe: I know that. And I just wanna be able to give that to parker as well. Look, Daniel and I, we were so happy once. And we can be that way again. I just have to show him that I can give him the one thing that Jennifer can't, and that's unconditional love.
Maxine: I must've heard you wrong. Did you say you were not coming to my party?
Daniel: Maxine, I--
Maxine: Why do you think I'm being honored tonight, Dr. Jonas, huh?
Daniel: Okay, I just--
Maxine: No, don't bother to answer, 'cause I'm more than happy to tell you. I'm being given this coveted award for running a tight ship and being a perfectionist... and because I'm only as good a nurse as the doctors I work for. And I work for you, Dr. Jonas.
Daniel: That's very ki--
Maxine: And it so happens that you are an inspiration to me. You make me work as hard as I can around this hospital. So what would it look like if my biggest inspiration wasn't there to support me? Well, are you gonna say something or are you just gonna stand there?
Daniel: I will be there.
Maxine: That's the correct answer.
Daniel: And I am sorry I even considered not coming. You--you are an inspiration to me--to a lot of people. You work very hard, Maxine. And this is your night. You deserve to be honored. All right. Congratulations. I will see you later. I need to go check on a patient, okay? All right.
Jennifer: Listen, I didn't wanna bring this up earlier, but J.J.'S having a hard time in school, and the only time that I could speak to his advisor on video chat is tonight...right in the middle of your event, so--
Kayla: I'm sure if you explain it to--
Jennifer: No, I can't really put it off, so I need to do it.
Jennifer: I'm sorry.
Maxine: So how'd you do?
Kayla: [Sighs] I struck out.
Kayla: And you?
Maxine: It was close, but I got Daniel to agree.
Kayla: You guilt trip him?
Kayla: I should've let you have a shot at ms. Horton.
Maxine: I have to say, whatever this is between those two, it seems to go much deeper than a lover's quarrel.
Kristen: Well, now. Don't be shy. Let's have a look at you.
Victor: What, are you gonna give me a tip?
Brady: No. That's my titan I.D. Card.
Victor: Not necessary.
Brady: You're gonna let me stay on?
Victor: Brady, your personal life is a catastrophe. It's an affront to everyone who cares about you. But you're good at your job, and business is business.
Brady: "Business is business." I'm sorry about this, Maggie.
Maggie: So am I. Listen, I just hope and pray that, one day, you come to your senses and that you and your grandfather will-- will salvage your personal relationship.
Brady: What about our relationship?
Maggie: Our relationship? You mean--
Brady: I mean you and me. Maggie, I'm pretty concerned about...what this move is gonna do to us.
Kristen: Despite our rocky history, father... I'm so grateful to you... that you asked me to come home. Because, you see, if it wasn't for your invitation... I wouldn't have been able to start the ball rolling... exacting revenge on those who've wronged me. And now... that I have Mr. Brady black right where I want him... I'm going to make the most of this. To moi.
Maggie: Brady, you know that I care deeply about you. So yes, I am upset. How--how could I not be affected by you moving into the DiMera mansion? I mean, how could I not be?
Brady: I just--I just feel like I've--I've let you down.
Maggie: I'm concerned about you. I'm very concerned. But Brady, I want you to know, despite what Victor said in the heat of the moment... that door will always be open to you, as well as my heart. [Crying]
Chloe: So then what happened?
Anne: All right, well, I heard Kayla tell Maxine that Jennifer is definitely not going to the party. But then Maxine said that Daniel definitely is.
Chloe: Anne, this is perfect.
Anne: I know. I couldn't wait to tell you.
Chloe: Thank you. Talk soon.
Nancy: [Excited cooing]
Chloe: [Gasps] Hey! Hi! Did you give grandma a big hug?
Nancy: Whoo! Yes, he did. And he showed me his favorite puzzle...
Nancy: His favorite truck.
Chloe: He did?
Nancy: [Giggling] Yes.
Nancy: And who was that on the phone?
Chloe: My friend Anne. Honey, you wanna play with this?
Nancy: Well, I just got a text myself.
Chloe: Really? From?
Nancy: From a Dr. Daniel Jonas. He's coming over!
Chloe: Oh, my God. I have to make sure I
Nancy: [Giggles] Isn't that great news, parker? Isn't that great news? Your daddy's coming over. Oh, yes, he is.
Jennifer: Um, yes, Mr. Shortliffe, I understand. You see, no one in our family is a math whiz. So I will speak to J.J. About that as soon as possible, and I will get back to you. Thank you! Bye-bye.
[Knocking on door]
Jennifer: Come on in, it's cold.
Kayla: Uh, listen. I was on my way to Brady pub... and, um, I thought I'd come by here and give you a lift.
Jennifer: A lift?
Kayla: Yeah, to the party.
Jennifer: No. Kayla!
Kayla: Yeah, come on!
Jennifer: I told you already that I wasn't going to the party.
Kayla: I know what you told me, and with all due respect, you know what? I didn't believe a word of it.
Kayla: Oh! And see, look. Logged off. So I guess that call's over, the video chat, parent conference thing.
Jennifer: Yes, it is, but--
Kayla: Great! Great! So go get changed and I'll wait. You know what? I even brought my own magazine.
Jennifer: Kayla, please.
Kayla: Look. I know this is about Daniel, okay? You guys obviously had some kind of disagreement. But you guys are crazy in love with each other. Everybody knows that.
Jennifer: Okay, listen, I appreciate you being so supportive. But what Daniel and I had was not just a disagreement.
Kayla: I'm sorry. What happened?
Jennifer: Chloe lane happened.
Chloe: Oh, hey! Mom said you'd be stopping by.
Daniel: Yeah, is this, uh, an okay time?
Chloe: Yeah, of course.
Daniel: Oh, my gosh!
Nancy: So good to see you!
Daniel: Oh, it's so good to see you, yeah. Chloe's been looking forward to your visit.
Nancy: And so have I to see my beautiful daughter and this precious little grandchild.
Daniel: Yeah, so how are Craig and joy?
Nancy: They're wonderful, thank you for asking. And...they send their best.
Chloe: Hey, uh, mom, would you mind watching parker for a few minutes? I just have to run to the store and get a few things.
Nancy: Not at all, now that his daddy's here. Come on, parker! You wanna give your daddy a big ol' hug?
Daniel: Come here!
Nancy: Give him a big ol' hug.
Daniel: Oh, get over here! You been having fun with grandma?
Chloe: Thanks, mom. Oh, and if I don't see you later, Daniel, then...take care.
Daniel: Aw. Okay. [Laughs]
Daniel: There it is.
Daniel: [Laughs] Noo!
Nancy: I'm really glad that you and I have a moment without Chloe around... because we need to talk.
Eric: [Sighs] Ciara. You know, it's not that I wouldn't wanna marry you. It's just that there are many reasons why I don't think that would be such a good idea.
Ciara: 'Cause we're cousins?
Eric: Well, yeah, that would be one of them, but... you know, priests and Roman Catholics-- anyway, they never get married.
Ciara: Does that make you sad?
Eric: No. It was a choice I made. In a way, I sort of am married to the church. You know, it kind of takes the place of a wife, a family.
Nicole: Okay, so I'm gonna let you two talk. I'll see you later.
Nancy: I know that you've moved on from Chloe.
Daniel: Thank you.
Nancy: You made that very clear when we spoke yesterday.
Daniel: Okay, you know, I don't really have a whole lot of time.
Nancy: Then I'll get right to the point. Daniel, my daughter is nostalgic for what she shared with you-- the love...
Daniel: Here, that's sharp.
Nancy: The passion.
Daniel: Let me have that.
Nancy: [Sighs] But we both know that... you're not her man anymore and never will be again. Daniel, I promise you this. I will do everything I can to drum that into Chloe's head and to get my daughter to back the hell off.
Kayla: Jenn, if Chloe thinks that she can win Daniel's heart, let her try! Everybody knows that his heart belongs to one woman, and that woman is you.
Jennifer: You know, I wish I could believe that.
Kayla: Well, you will if you cut Daniel a little slack maybe. Talk to him, discuss all this with him openly and honestly. That's why I've been so determined to get you to this party. But listen, I'm--I'm not gonna push you, okay? I am going to drive myself, and I hope that you come too, that you show up, okay? Daniels going to be there, and I think that you owe it to yourself and to him to show up too. Do you hear me?
Kayla: Okay. All right!
Daniel: Wah! [Making crushing noises] You know, as I've said, I really do appreciate your help with this, Nancy. Pshoo! And I've tried. I've tried to be clear with Chloe myself, but I really don't--yeah, that's it-- I don't wanna hurt her.
Nancy: Then it's a good thing that I'm here, right?
Daniel: I do, I think it is a good thing. Yeah.
Chloe: Oh, boy.
Daniel: Whoa, hold on. Here, let me help you with that. You hang with grandma. I got it, I got it, here we go.
Chloe: Thank you. Oh!
Chloe: Whoo! Thanks.
Daniel: You got it?
Chloe: Ah. Hey, guys. How's my little man doing, huh?
Nancy: Oh, he's just fine since his daddy got here, aren't you?
Daniel: You know, and now, I, uh--I really do need to get going here. But it was so nice to see you.
Nancy: Oh, Daniel, it was good seeing you too.
Daniel: You too. All right, drive-by! Where's the love? That's it. Okay. You guys have a good night.
Chloe: Okay, bye.
Nancy: Can you wave bye-bye? Wave bye-bye to daddy?
Daniel: Yeah! That's it. That's what I'm talking about. Go for the truck. All right, good night.
Chloe: Well? How'd it go?
Nancy: Well... if I do say so myself... flawlessly. The chill of peppermint.
Nicole: So... did Ciara join the convent? You know, you pretty much ruined that little girl's life. She has no choice now but the veil.
Eric: Nicole... please, just talk to me.
Nicole: I love you, Eric. The truth is I always have. I thought I moved on a dozen times, but... now I know I never did.
Eric: I'm so sorry, Nicole. I hope I haven't led you on in any way.
Nicole: No. No, Eric, this is all on me.
Eric: I don't think we should see each other anymore.
Nicole: No, that's not an answer. Eric's gonna want an explanation.
Eric: You're right, I do.
Kristen: Be it ever so humble.
Brady: [Inhales] Hmm, yeah. Humble.
Kristen: You look a little overwhelmed.
Brady: [Groans] It's just strange. I can't believe I'm gonna be living here. I always considered this the... last place I'd wanna visit, let alone reside in.
Kristen: I know. I know that this is Stefano's house, but I'm hoping, with your help, we can turn it into our home, and then replace all those horrible, bad memories with really good ones of our own. What do you think?
Brady: That sounds good. Yeah.
Kristen: You upset?
Kristen: A little bit?
Brady: I'm not upset. Listen, I, um-- I didn't tell you, but I already got into it with my grandfather and Maggie about this whole thing. I didn't wanna lie to them, but I-- I passive-aggressively told them what my new address was going to be.
Kristen: Oh, no. What did they say?
Brady: Well, Maggie was very sweet and gentle, as always, but... Victor, on the other hand, didn't fire me, but he essentially disowned me, Kristen.
Kristen: Baby, I'm so sorry. I know everything you've had to give up because of me.
Brady: It's okay.
Kristen: It's not okay.
Brady: Yeah, it is. You know why? 'Cause it's worth it. You...are worth it.
Kristen: I think you're worth it too.
Chloe: I gotta hand it to you, mom. Letting Daniel think that you're on his side, it's inspired. Genius, actually.
Nancy: Well, hopefully, it will buy you some time. [Sighs] Maybe Daniel will come to trust my opinions... and, uh, put his family first, instead of snarky old Jennifer.
Chloe: Well, so far, so good on that front, because it seems like snarky old Jennifer is avoiding Daniel like the plague.
Kayla: I'm so glad you're here, thank you.
Daniel: Yeah, well, the guest of honor kinda gave me an ultimatum.
Kayla: Well, you know, whatever it takes.
Anne: Jennifer? I-I didn't know you were coming.
Jennifer: Oh, sorry to disappoint you, Anne, but I'm here.
Maxine: There she is!
Jennifer: Oh, hey! Look at you! Wow! You look gorgeous.
Maxine: Thank you. As do you, darling. I knew you'd be here with me.
Jennifer: Of course.
Maxine: Come on, let's party!
Jennifer: Great idea! Let's go, Maxine.
Chloe: Hey, Anne.
Anne: Red alert.
Anne: I don't know who got to her, but someone did.
Chloe: Anne, just tell me what's going on.
Anne: Jennifer is here.
Chloe: "Here"? Where?
Anne: The award ceremony.
Chloe: Oh, crap!
Nancy: What's going on?
Chloe: Daniel's there.
Anne: Yes, I know. I'm looking right at him.
Kayla: Um... I am gonna go make nice with Seth. I am really glad you came.
Daniel: Thank you.
Daniel: Thank you. Jennifer.
Jennifer: Hello, Daniel.
Daniel: You, um-- you look beautiful.
Jennifer: Thank you.
Daniel: Can we talk for a minute? Uh, no offense. I don't mean to be rude.
Maxine: You're not being rude at all. I'll see you later, darlin'.
Daniel: Oh, boy.
Anne: He just took her outside.
Chloe: Oh, my God, Anne. Just--do something! Stop them!
Eric: I want you to tell me why so many things have changed between us.
Nicole: You hurt my feelings.
Eric: I did? I'm sorry, I-- I just don't know what I did, or when.
Nicole: It's--it's not just one time or one thing. You thought I was upset about Chloe when I wasn't. You think I'm still pining for Daniel, and I'm not. I told you, yes, a part of me will always have feelings for him, but... he's in love with another woman. I've moved on.
Eric: Then what is it?
Nicole: I'm trying to change who I am, and it's not easy. Seeing Chloe trying to manipulate a situation to get Daniel back, so desperate to have something that she can't have--it reminds me of me. And I can't--I don't-- I don't wanna be like that anymore.
Eric: So you're changing the things...or the way you've been?
Nicole: The way I still am. And despite the fact that I'm a slow learner, I am determined, for my sake and for the sake of everyone who comes in contact with me.
Kristen: Brady, I know that you being here with me means giving up things that matter to you and that you love, and I just want you to know something. I don't take it for granted at all.
Brady: I know. Thank you. When do the other inhabitants of this lovely little house come home?
Kristen: Well, it's funny you should ask me that.
Kristen: Because, you see, the staff is off until tomorrow. Stefano's not due back for hours and hours. So why does that phrase "christen every room in the house" keep playing over and over in my head? It's so weird.
Brady: Really? It just keeps going?
Kristen: Yeah. Like a broken record.
Brady: Well, we-- we should probably take care of that then.
Brady: Um... I'm thinking...
[Chess pieces clatter]
Kristen: That's what you're thinking?
Brady: We should probably start here.
Kristen: Oh, okay.
Chloe: So what is he saying to her?
Anne: How should I know? He took her outside.
Chloe: Well, can you see them?
Anne: Yes, but I don't have bionic ears, Chloe.
Chloe: Well, get close enough to them so you can hear them.
Anne: You know, I played Annie Sullivan in the miracle worker in high school, and I am pretty good at lip-reading.
Daniel: I know I put you through a lot, Jenn.
Jennifer: No, it's not about that.
Daniel: Can you just let me finish, please?
Daniel: All right, thank you. The whole--the whole thing with Chloe and parker, I know it's been difficult for you. I do, I know that. But... just in the last hour or so, something happened that might help us both.
Jennifer: You sound hopeful.
Daniel: Jenn... there's something you need to know.
Anne: Okay, okay. So maybe I'm not such a good lip-reader.
Anne: But I sure as hell can read body language.
Anne: It doesn't look good for you, Chloe. I'm sorry. I've discovered gold.
Eric: You know, I'm sorry, Nicole... that I haven't been able to understand what you've been going through.
Nicole: And I'm sorry my reaction was to lash out at you.
Nicole: But Eric--
Eric: This could be... I have to go to someone's house. Last rites.
Nicole: I understand.
Eric: We'll talk more later.
Nicole: If I just accept the fact that I can't have him, I can move on. I can, and I will.
Jennifer: So tell me what you've been thinking.
Daniel: Well, I'm crazy.
Jennifer: Right. I mean, I know that.
Daniel: Crazy in love with you.
Chloe: Anne milbauer! Talk to me. What are they doing?
Anne: Oh, oh, oh, oh!
Nancy: Chloe, what is she seeing?
Chloe: What are you seeing?
Anne: They just hugged.
Chloe: They what?
Anne: Yeah, and they're still doing it. And listen, this is no ordinary "how do you do?" Friendly hug. Something big just went down between them, Chloe.
Kristen: Brady! Ooh! Ah.
[Knocking on door]
Brady: Oh, you--say it isn't so. Are you kidding me?
Kristen: It's too early for Stefano to be back.
Brady: Come on. What is it, your brother? Who is that?
Kristen: EJ? At this hour?
Brady: I don't know, EJ, Chad, some long-lost relative? Who's at the door?
Kristen: This is crazy! Look, we live together. My family has to learn how we roll.
Brady: Yes, how we roll, we roll, and we roll. Dear God. [Sighs]
Kristen: [Gasps] Oh.
