Will: Hey.

Sami: Hey. Hey, sweetheart. Thank you so much for coming.

Will: Oh, you're welcome.

Sami: I'm so happy to see you.

Will: I figured you'd want to show off your new engagement ring. How many carats did you score?

Sami: [Laughs] Um, none, actually.

Will: Oh, no. What ha-- I thought you said it was kind of a sure thing.

Sami: Well, uh, as it turns out, I was totally off base, if you can imagine that. And, uh, I ended up sort of looking foolish.

Will: Ugh, sorry. Well, I've been there, done that, so...

Sami: Sonny?

Will: Yeah, I don't really-- I don't want to talk about it, so... why did you want me here?

Sami: I, um--I wanted to ask you about Gabi's paternity test.

Will: Mm-hmm.

Sami: You got the results?

Will: No.

Sami: Why not?

Will: Um, she just hasn't taken it yet.

Sami: Why the hell not?

Gabi: Here you go.

Cameron: Ah. Thanks, Gabi.

Gabi: Hey, uh, Cameron, um, I wanted to ask you a question about my baby, as a doctor.

Cameron: Sure.

Gabi: Well, I just wanted to know about getting a paternity test.

Cameron: Why would you need a paternity test?

Julie: That's a good question. What in the world is going on now?

Abigail: Hi, Courtney. How's it going?

Courtney: Oh, hey, Abigail. I'm good.

Abigail: Is Dr. Davis around? I owe him a dessert.

Courtney: Um, he just went on break, but I can absolutely make sure that he gets that.

Abigail: Great.

Courtney: It's the least I can do after accusing him of sexual harassment.

Abigail: What?

Courtney: Oh, no, no, no. I mean, it was just a big misunderstanding. He asked me what the Golden Circle Club was, and I thought he was asking-- well, it doesn't matter what I thought he was asking, 'cause I was totally wrong, so it's cool.

Abigail: Wait. Uh... what did you tell him?

Courtney: I told him what it was--a high-school club for kids waiting till marriage to have sex.

Daniel: That's it-- just like that. Want to hit a wheelie? [Imitates engine roaring]

Jennifer: Okay, Jennifer, just stop thinking and take action and don't blow it this time.

Abe: Hey, hey, hey, Jenn.

Jennifer: Hey. Hi. How are you?

Abe: Oh, good, good.

Jennifer: It's good to see you.

Abe: You know, um, I was just going to stop over at your office.

Jennifer: Oh, really?

Abe: Yeah, I'm working on a project to repair the damage caused by those tunnel explosions. And I was hoping that the hospital would help with a fund-raiser.

Jennifer: Uh, yes. Absolutely. I will--I will call you soon, and we will work on that.

Abe: Oh, thank you. That's great. That's great. So, Theo, you hungry?

Theo: Starving.

Abe: [Laughs] I don't need Jennifer here thinking I don't feed you enough.

Theo: Daddy made eggs for breakfast.

Jennifer: Oh, that sounds so good. It's, uh--it's good to see you, Theo. I like your hat.

Theo: Thank you.

Jennifer: You're welcome.

Abe: Okay, we'll see you.

Jennifer: I'll see you soon.

Abe: Okay, bye-bye. Thank you.

Jennifer: Bye-bye. Shoot.

Chloe: Jennifer, hey. I'm glad I ran into you. We really need to talk.

Nicole: Hey.

Rafe: Hey.

Nicole: Thank you so much for meeting me here.

Rafe: Yeah, of course.

Nicole: I, uh--I really need to talk to you.

Rafe: Okay. All right. What's up?

Nicole: I, uh--I just wanted to say good-bye. I'm leaving Salem.

Eric: Dear Heavenly Father... I just want to say... Bless me, Father, for I have sinned.

Julie: Gabi, why in the world are you discussing a paternity test with this, uh, charming young man? Unless you're not sure if Will is really the father.

Gabi: No, no, no, no, no, no. Will is the father. I'm--oh, I'm sorry. Uh, Julie, this is Cameron Davis. He's my doctor.

Cameron: Hi, nice to meet you.

Gabi: This is Julie Williams, um, Nick's cousin.

Cameron: Ah. Gabi, do you maybe want to take a walk around the block or...?

Gabi: No, no, it's, um-- it's totally okay. I'll call you. Thank you.

Cameron: Are you sure?

Gabi: Yes, positive.

Cameron: Okay. Nice to meet you, Ms. Williams.

Julie: Pleasure. Gabi, I don't understand. Why are you even thinking about getting a paternity test? Those things can be dangerous for the baby.

Gabi: I know. I was afraid of that. It's just Will won't back down.

Julie: Will? Why should Will insist? Wait a minute. This has Sami Brady written all over it.

Sami: Will, we've talked about this. She has to take that test.

Will: I know. And it's going to happen. We just haven't set a date yet.

Sami: I don't like the sound of that. It makes it seem like she's playing games with you.

Will: I don't think so.

Sami: I know that you don't, but keep your eyes open here. You have to understand. If she wanted to, she could just marry Nick and put his name on that baby's birth certificate.

Rafe: You're leaving Salem? Why?

Nicole: Because there's nothing for me here.

Rafe: Okay, one, that is not true. And two, where are you going to go?

Nicole: Well, I don't have any family or friends here, so it--

Rafe: No fr--really?

Nicole: I'm--okay.

Rafe: What am I, chopped liver?

Nicole: I'm living in a convent, for God's sake.

Rafe: Oh, well, then for God's sake, move. Get an apartment in Salem. Is this about Daniel?

Nicole: No, no. I mean, a part of me still cares about him, but he's not the reason.

Rafe: Okay, well, then what is this thing that you're not telling me? Oh, wait a minute. Is this about Eric?

Robber: Stand up. I want all the money in the safe, and I don't want any crap about it. I've been casing the place. I know that's where you keep the collection.

Eric: What's your name, friend?

Robber: I am not your friend.

Eric: Your hand is shaking. You're having some kind of withdrawal.

Robber: I'm shaking with excitement.

Eric: I want to help you. But stealing to buy more drugs, that's not the answer.

Robber: I don't remember asking you any questions. You really want to help me, Father, just give me the damn money, okay?

Nicole: What would make you say something like that? Why would you think that Eric is the reason for my leaving?

Rafe: Oh, well, I don't know. Maybe because, last time I was in the church--and, granted, I may have been a little inebriated--but, uh... I walked in on a little tension there. Hmm?

Nicole: No, no. This is not Eric's fault, okay? It just--I think it'd be best for everyone if I left St. Luke's and left Salem.

Rafe: It's a little extreme, don't you think?

Nicole: No, because, Rafe, look, everywhere I look in this town, there's a bad memory. I think it would be best just to have a clean break.

Rafe: Well... [Sighs] I'll miss you.

Nicole: Well, you're one of the very few.

[Both laughing]

Nicole: Oh, my God.

Rafe: I didn't say anything. It's just... if you'd have told me a year ago that I'd be sitting here saying that I'd miss you, I... [Sighs] I will. Anyway...

Nicole: Thanks. Just don't let Sami hear you say that.

Rafe: Yeah, I don't think there's much danger in that. And for the record, everything she said about you and... everything else, for that matter, is wrong, so...

Nicole: I know. I ran into EJ, and he told me they were back together. What is that about? I'm so sorry.

Rafe: No, no, no. I'm not. After everything she did and said to my sister, I don't give a damn about that woman.

Nicole: [Laughs] Yeah, we both know that's not true.

Rafe: Yeah.

Gabi: Okay, so you really think the paternity test would be dangerous for the baby?

Julie: I want you to be sure it's safe before you agree to it.

Gabi: Right, right. Yeah, yeah, I'm going to-- I'm going to talk to Cameron first. Well, um, Nick says that he thinks I might not even have to go through with it.

Julie: Be prepared for a fight on that one. I know Sami. Sami and I have a few traits of character in common. She's not going to back down.

Gabi: It just gets me so mad. Will, Nick, and I--we had everything worked out. And it's like she--she wants us to be enemies or something.

Julie: Well, you have Nick and your brother and a whole lot of Hortons here to support you. You just try to concentrate on taking care of yourself and the baby, darling.

Gabi: I will. I will. Okay, I have to get back to work. Can I get you something?

Julie: No, no, I just came by to see you, and I got to go, and--

Gabi: Thank you so much.

Julie: Oh, darling. Everything's going to be just fine.

Gabi: All right, I'll see you.

Julie: And I'm going to make sure it is, Sami.

Chloe: I just wanted to clear up any confusion from this afternoon.

Jennifer: You mean confusion about misleading me purposely?

Chloe: It wasn't on purpose.

Jennifer: I think that every move that you have made... coming back to Salem has been on purpose. I think you found great delight in telling me that you were going to move into Daniel's apartment, but it slipped your mind to tell me that he wouldn't be staying there with you.

Chloe: Wow. I guess I didn't realize just how insecure you really are.

[Items clatter]

Jennifer: Well, I can see you've been shopping.

Chloe: Oops. Clumsy me.

Jennifer: You know what, Chloe? I'm not insecure. And I'm not stupid. I know exactly what you want, and you're not going to get it.

Rafe: Look, I could not care less that Sami is with EJ. No.

Nicole: Mm-hmm.

Rafe: They deserve each other.

Nicole: Mm-hmm. So your little bender the other night had nothing to do at all with Sami?

Rafe: Nope.

Nicole: Liar. Liar, liar, liar. Okay.

Rafe: Okay. Well... don't leave town without calling me first.

Nicole: I wouldn't dream of it.

Rafe: Sure you want to go?

Nicole: I, uh--I think I have to.

Rafe: Okay.

Nicole: Bye.

Rafe: See you.

Eric: You know, you really don't have to do this.

Robber: Yeah. How about you take a vow of silence?

Eric: I can help you. God can help you.

Robber: I'm pretty sure God forsook me a while ago.

Eric: Maybe it was the other way around.

Robber: Either way, I'm pretty sure he owes me this one-time payout.

Eric: I think we both know this is not a one-time thing. You have a disease. It's called an addiction. And the thing that really sucks about this is that these things... addictions, they get worse and worse and worse if you don't get any help.

Robber: You ever hear the one about, um, waiting in silence? Shut up! Quit stalling... or things really are going to get worse.

Abigail: Hey, Gabi. Uh, have you seen Cameron? I've been calling him, but it keeps going to his voice mail.

Gabi: Well, he was just here. He probably went back to work. What's wrong?

Abigail: I don't know. Maybe nothing. Maybe everything.

Will: Wow. I have to say that I am so surprised that you are trying to take over my life.

Sami: Will, I'm not trying to take over your life.

Will: So unexpected, so out of character. You know, um, when the baby's born, do you want to, like, name her? Would you name her? Or do you want to pick out clothes for her? You want to choose a school for her? You want to arrange a marriage for her?

Sami: Okay, just stop. Stop exaggerating, all right?

Will: Listen to me. I'm saying that I'm handling this very well, okay? Nick and Gabi are going to be a part of my child's life, and it's best for her if we all get along.

Sami: I'm just trying to look out for you.

Will: I know. And I'm trying to look out for my kid, so we're just going to make sure that this test is safe before we go ahead with it. That's it.

Sami: And it is safe. I mean, I would never--

Will: Okay, that's not your call, though, because we're going to talk to a legitimate doctor before we make that decision, okay?

Sami: Okay. But then go do it. Go talk to this doctor, any doctor. They will tell you it's just a blood test. They take the mother's blood, and they can get the baby's DNA from it.

Will: Okay, great. Thank you for prepping for this debate, but it's really not your decision to make.

Julie: Will, your mother doesn't really understand that concept. Sami, dear... you and I need to have a little talk.

Chloe: What I want? What are you talking about?

Jennifer: I am talking about a very desperate and needy woman who is using desperate measures to get Daniel back in her life.

Chloe: What? Jennifer, why do you keep making these baseless accusations?

Jennifer: Because you keep doing these underhanded things, and you are so exceedingly transparent, Chloe.

Chloe: Wow. "Underhanded"? "Transparent"? All I've done is brought Daniel his son, the child that he and I conceived when we were deeply in love.

Jennifer: Please, that's enough, Chloe.

Chloe: I'm sorry. I know this may be difficult for you to hear.

Jennifer: No, it's not difficult for me to hear, because I know exactly what you're doing. But the one thing you don't know about yourself is that you don't catch subtleties, hence my idea to be really direct with you and try to penetrate this delusional fog that you are living in.

Chloe: Wow. You are really starting to sound paranoid. I mean, look, I understand. You've been going through some difficult times lately.

Jennifer: You know what, Chloe? I have been. But those difficult times have made me stronger, and not just for myself, but for my children, so I am not paranoid. I am self-protective.

Chloe: Well, I-I see. And I admire that--your strength and your devotion to your children.

Jennifer: Right, okay, Chloe. And you know what? I admire the mom that you are, because I look at your son, and he is so happy. He is a really well-adjusted child.

Chloe: Yes, he is.

Jennifer: Yeah. But I don't admire your effort to keep getting this man back in your life that doesn't want to have anything to do with you.

Chloe: I am not doing that. My God, Jennifer, you just got through saying that we have to be strong for our children. So why can't you grasp the idea that everything I am doing is for my son? I am simply trying to give my little boy as much time with his father as possible. Doesn't he deserve that? Doesn't any child?

Eric: I'm going to pray for you.

Robber: You know what I think of your prayers? [Spits]

Nicole: Eric, I have to tell you--

Robber: Who the hell are you?

Nicole: Oh, my God.

Eric: Don't, don't! Do not hurt her!

Gabi: Okay, so let me get this straight. In high school, you took a pledge to not have sex until you were married.

Abigail: Yes.

Gabi: Okay. Explain to me--you had to join that club? Couldn't you, I don't know, just not have sex?

Abigail: It was a way to just stay strong.

Gabi: Okay, so... wait. All right, unless things have changed since the last time we spoke, you're still meeting the eligibility requirements, right?

Abigail: Yes, Gabi. Yes, I am still a virgin.

Gabi: Okay, good.

Abigail: And now Cameron knows about it.

Gabi: Well, you could talk to him. You know what? Maybe he thinks it's actually really cute, and maybe he is going to admire you for it.

Abigail: Yeah, maybe. Or maybe he will think I am a complete freak of nature.

Sami: Hi, Julie. This isn't a very good time for me, actually.

Julie: Well, it's important, and it won't take long.

Will: I will leave you two alone.

Sami: Will, no, you won't, 'cause we're not done talking.

Julie: Actually, I would prefer that you stay, because this concerns you. Sami... I understand your maternal instinct to protect your son. But in this instance, you really need to back off.

Sami: I don't know what you're talking about.

Julie: Just what you and Will were talking about--a paternity test, totally unnecessary and possibly dangerous.

Sami: Mm, I see. So Gabi sent you here.

Daniel: I'm sorry if I kept you. I, uh... I just love watching him sleep.

Maggie: [Chuckles] Yeah, so do I. Um, Daniel, there's something I have to tell you.

Daniel: Okay.

Maggie: Well, look, this is really, first of all, a little bit off topic. Uh, the demands that Chloe made to Victor and me about making green changes in the house-- we're actually doing them. I mean, we've cleaned the air ducts, and we're changing our dry cleaners.

Daniel: Oh, well, good. Then something positive came out of that after all, huh?

Maggie: Yes, actually. What I really wanted to talk to you--or discuss with you is... I'm pretty convinced that Chloe deliberately pushed Victor's buttons in order to get him to throw her out of this house. I mean, she used his temper to get closer to you.

Daniel: Okay, you know what? You and Jennifer--you need to trust me, because I love Jennifer, and there's nothing that Chloe does will change that--nothing.

Maggie: You're right. We should trust you.

Daniel: Yeah.

Maggie: So, if you really love Jennifer, why are you so angry with her?

Daniel: She lied--

Maggie: Okay, wait. Let me finish.

Daniel: Okay.

Maggie: After everything she's been through with Chloe and Nicole-- okay, so she slipped up. And maybe she just had a gut load of Chloe's games, and she made a mistake.

Daniel: Well, it would've been nice if she apologized, admitted that she was wrong.

Maggie: She did. Didn't you get her message?

Jennifer: So this is really just about Parker. It has nothing to do with wanting Daniel back in your life.

Chloe: I repeat--I want what's best for my son.

Jennifer: Right.

Chloe: You don't believe me.

Jennifer: No, I don't.

Chloe: Jennifer, let me tell you something I learned in high school.

Jennifer: What, the Pythagorean Theorem?

Chloe: Ha, funny.

Jennifer: Hmm.

Chloe: Look, you can be funny and smart, but you'll get nowhere in life if you don't have the charisma to back it up.

Jennifer: Oh, I guess I better get me some of that, huh?

Chloe: Just saying-- some people have it. Some people are born with it-- others, not so much.

Jennifer: Okay, well, what weren't you born with, Chloe? What, sensitivity, a kind heart, character?

Chloe: You know what? I'm done. I'm not going to stand here and be insulted by you.

Jennifer: Oh, okay, but it's all right for you to stand here and insult me and tell me that I have no charisma, which is code word for "dull and boring."

Chloe: I wasn't talking about you specifically, Jenn. I was just making a general statement. I just think that too many women put too much stock in being sweet and accommodating.

Jennifer: And you know what I think? I think that you believe Daniel will choose you over me. Don't you?

Jennifer: I guess you're not going to answer me.

Chloe: Seriously? I thought that was a rhetorical question.

Jennifer: Oh, it's okay. There's no need to respond. That grin on your face speaks volumes, Chloe.

Chloe: Wow. You really are paranoid.

Jennifer: No, I'm not. I just wish that Daniel could see you for who you really are.

Chloe: Oh, yeah? And does he see you for who you really are, Jenn? I mean, I know everyone in Salem thinks you're so sweet and adorable.

Jennifer: Oh, okay, and then you just think I'm an ice princess because I can see through you? Anyone can see through you. I am not in the minority, Chloe.

Chloe: No, actually, I don't think you're an ice princess, whatever the heck that means. I happen to agree with the good people of Salem. I think you are ever so sweet and adorable.

Jennifer: And I think that you are a manipulator. And contrary to what you might think, Daniel is getting wise to your ways, Chloe.

Chloe: Well, he can wise up till the cows come home, but the fact remains I am the mother of his child. So that bond will keep him from ever pushing me too far away, ever. Oh, and one more thing-- you know what? This is not a war of words. It's a very different field of battle. And for the record, Daniel likes it when I'm wearing one of these... or nothing at all.

Jennifer: You're a pathetic woman.

Daniel: Oh, come on, you're kidding me.

Maggie: No. She left you a note at the hospital saying she was sorry.

Daniel: I never got it.

Maggie: Well, there you go. I didn't think you had. You wouldn't have just ignored it. That's why I told Jennifer to go and talk to you in person.

Daniel: In per--

Maggie: Yeah.

Daniel: Son of a...

Maggie: What?

Daniel: She--Jenn, she went-- she went to my apartment.

Maggie: To apologize, yeah.

Daniel: And Chloe was there and told Jenn that she moved in.

Maggie: Wow. What a lovely way to get that news.

Daniel: Oh, my God. This is so screwed up. No, 'cause I went to her house to explain to her-- to tell her, to say that I'm sorry.

Maggie: And?

Daniel: And neither one of us really got to apologize. We just got into this knock-down, drag-out fight.

[Cell phone ringing]

Daniel: Hold on. Okay, well, no, this is Jenn. This is--she wants to, uh... she wants to see me right away.

Maggie: Oh, well, that's good.

Daniel: Yeah. Yes.

Maggie: Oh, and, Daniel... this time, um, try not to screw it up.

Julie: Sami, you know I don't take orders from anyone.

Sami: Right. But, uh, Gabi didn't send you here to plead her case?

Julie: Yes, I'm here to plead her case. She did not send me. She doesn't even know I'm here.

Sami: Really? She just told you about the paternity test, and she didn't expect you to do anything about it? Julie, she manipulated you. She's good at that.

Will: God, Mom, really? You're going to sit there and accuse Gabi of being manipulative?

Sami: Will, can you please just--

Will: Are you going to tell me to butt out? Because I think we're-- aren't we actually talking about my life here?

Julie: Exactly right. And I think Will and Gabi and Nick are handling a difficult situation beautifully. I just don't want to see your mother get in the middle of it and stir things up.

Will: Mm, my mother? Stir things up?

Sami: Let me ask you something, Julie. Why are you on Nick's side? Will is your family too.

Julie: I'm not on anybody's side, Sami. I'm trying to stop you from making the situation worse.

Will: Well, good luck with that.

Sami: So you agree with her, Will.

Will: Yep, I do. Um, look, I know you always want to do something, Mom. But seriously, can you just not? Just don't do anything this time, please.

Sami: Okay. Fine. Look, I can't make any promises, but I will try to, um, back off.

Will: Well, thank you.

Julie: I thank you too, Sami. Really. I think everything is going to be just fine. Well, I've said what I had to say. Will, I'm glad you were here.

Will: Thank you.

Julie: I'm very proud of you.

Will: Well, I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings.

Sami: Oh, you know... if you dish it out, you got to be prepared to take it. Uh, but there are some other things I'd love to talk to you about. Do you want to stay? I bet you're hungry. There's great snacks in the kitchen, and, um, I'm starved. I was wondering if you could grab me a protein bar while you're there.

Will: Sure.

Sami: Great.

Will: Great.

Sami: Perfect.

Will: Be right back.

Sami: Okay. Yeah, Helen, um, I'm going to be going out for a bit. Can you make sure you hold all my calls? Yeah, thanks.

Eric: Okay. Okay, you just need to stop and think. You have the money. Just let her go and walk away.

Robber: Not without her jewelry.

Nicole: N-no. No.

Eric: Nicole, just do what he says.

Robber: Lady, you aren't in a position to say no to me. Just put them on the desk. Do it.

Nicole: Okay, okay. Okay.

[Bracelet clatters on desk]

Robber: Faster.

Nicole: There. Okay?

Robber: Your necklace too.

Nicole: What? It was my mother's. It's not even worth that much. Please don't.

Robber: Give it to me, or you die! Understand?

Chloe: Hey.

Anne: Wow. Can we spell "downsize"?

Chloe: Don't start, okay?

Anne: No, really, who wants a mansion and servants when you could have all this? It's so--it's so cozy.

Chloe: I wanted cozy-- just mommy, daddy, and baby.

Anne: Has something gone horribly wrong?

Chloe: Yeah. Daniel moved into a hotel.

Anne: What a surprise. Another one of your little schemes didn't work out the way you wanted it to.

Chloe: You know what? Just go, okay? I need a friend right now, not a critic.

Anne: Oh, okay. There's more, isn't there?

Chloe: Yeah. [Grunts] I kind of blew up at Jennifer. She's just so smug and self-righteous. I lost control.

Anne: And?

Chloe: And I think I overplayed my hand.

Daniel: I didn't like the way that we fought, um, before. In fact, I-I hated it. And one of the things that I regret most was just me being such a-- uh, all right, let's be kind-- uh, jerk.

Jennifer: Okay, but as I recall, I kind of gave as good as I got.

Daniel: Uh, yeah. Well... [Both chuckle] Um, see, Maggie also shared something else with me.

Jennifer: That's-- you don't use the word "share" a lot.

Daniel: Look, I know. I'm just trying to be sensitive.

Jennifer: No, I know. For me?

Daniel: Yeah. Okay, look, Maggie-- Maggie, um, she shared with me that you, uh, left a message at the hospital for me, and then you figured out that I didn't get it, which is--which is why you went to my apartment. And then that's where you, you know, you ran into Chloe. And, you know, you're right. I guess I should have talked to you about her moving in before, and-- but listen, I tried to. I was going to, and then you were going to apologize, and then I was actually going to apologize too, but then I just-- I got so screwed up, because... just--you know, you and--and Abigail-- just--I was so mad at you guys, because, you know, you're... you're, uh--you're right. Uh... [Clears throat] And I don't know. Guys, we--we just--we hate that. And I react viscerally, and I'm--I'm sorry.

Jennifer: You know what? You--you talked a long time.

Daniel: Yeah. Well, I can keep talking, because I want to get this thing back to the way it was. I do.

Jennifer: Listen, I... you know what? I-I could be that kind of woman. I could just let you stand there and just--just hang in that and just be so offended by harsh words.

Daniel: But you're not that kind of woman?

Jennifer: No, I don't want to be that woman. I want to get back... to where we were.

Daniel: Oh. Damn, I'm--I'm so... oh, glad to hear you say that.

Jennifer: I just want you to know that, um, I'm sorry that I lied. I'm so sorry. But I also have to tell you that I have just had a gut load of Chloe lately, really.

Daniel: I know. Maggie said the same thing. And I get it.

Jennifer: I'm sorry. I am sorry that I just jumped all over you, really.

Daniel: No, it's okay. You've got a-- you know, you're pretty good at giving what you, uh, got.

Jennifer: That was bad, huh? I kind of had a little bit of a gut load of you at that...

Daniel: I'm sure you did.

Jennifer: Little, tiny moment.

Daniel: Little bit. I am so glad we had this talk. I am. You know, the reason that I didn't tell you about what was going on, about Chloe moving in and me moving out, is I didn't-- I didn't want to tell you over the phone. I wanted to tell you in person.

Jennifer: I know. I get it. I get it. You just--you don't want to talk about this anymore.

Daniel: I really don't. I don't.

Jennifer: Good. I don't want to talk about it either.

Daniel: Okay.

Jennifer: I think we should just kiss and make up.

Daniel: I think that's a great idea.

[Footsteps approaching]

Sami: [Sighs] Hi, Gabi. I'm interested to know why you decided to use Will's own family against him.

Gabi: What?

Sami: You sent Julie to do your dirty work for y--

Will: Oh, my God, I knew it. I knew it. I knew it. You realize it was about seven minutes ago you told me you were going to leave Gabi alone and you were going to back off, right?

Sami: And I will. I will back off. I just want to ask her a simple question. I want to know why she hasn't had the paternity test yet.

Gabi: Look, I don't want to do anything that could possibly hurt the baby.

Will: That's what I told you. And I back her up 100%.

Sami: It won't hurt the baby.

Gabi: That's not what Julie said.

Sami: Are you ki-- you're listening to Julie? She hasn't had a paternity test since Nixon was president. Go to a doctor. Ask a professional. Let's go to the hospital right now. We can find out. Shall we?

Rafe: Really? What the hell do you think you're doing?

Robber: Stay back!

Eric: Just give him the necklace, Nicole.

Nicole: No. No, it's the only thing I have left of my mother's, and I'm not going to give it to this crazy hophead!

Robber: Give me the necklace, you bitch!

Nicole: Aah!

Eric: Nicole, are you okay?

Nicole: I'm okay. I'm okay. Aah! Eric. Oh, my God.

Abe: It makes Lexie very happy that the two of you are getting to know each other.

Cameron: Ah, well, that's one of the reasons I'm glad I stayed in Salem.

Abe: Well, good, good. So we'll see you Tuesday?

Cameron: Yeah, sounds good.

Abe: Okay, cool. Come on, let's go, man.

Cameron: Bye, Theo.

Theo: Bye.

Abigail: Hey, Cameron. Do you have time to talk?

Chloe: And this isn't really about Daniel. It's about Parker. I mean, I grew up bouncing from one foster home to another... and I'm just determined that Parker is going to have a stable, loving home with both of his parents.

Anne: Mm-hmm.

Chloe: I don't know, I think I may have pushed it too far this time. [Sighs] Now that Jennifer knows that I'm after Daniel, who knows what she'll do to fight back?

Anne: Well, she'll do the obvious. She'll turn him against you.

Daniel: You know what I think we need?

Jennifer: What?

Daniel: We need another little getaway. Third time's a charm.

Jennifer: Yeah.

Daniel: Yeah?

Jennifer: Or... three strikes and you're out, I guess. [Chuckles]

Daniel: Huh?

Jennifer: I just think there's more things that we need to talk about.

Daniel: Well, there's always things we need to talk about.

Jennifer: I know. Specifically Chloe.

Daniel: I know she hasn't been making this easy for you. And if there's anything I can do--

Jennifer: There is. I-I think you just need to make it clear... to her that you've moved on and that there's no chance that the two of you are going to get back together.

Daniel: Well, I'm not sure I can be any more clear than I already have.

Jennifer: I don't think it's--I don't think it's really sinking in, because she wouldn't be buying lingerie if she was ready to throw in the towel.

Daniel: What?

Jennifer: I'm just telling you, she's not going to give up. And I just think there's only one thing that you can do, and I know you're not going to like it. I don't like it.

Daniel: All right, what are you talking about?

Jennifer: I have given this a lot of thought, and I think that you... just need to not have any contact with her.

Daniel: What?

Jennifer: I know. I know you share custody of Parker, and I know that you have to do that. But I think that you can just tell her that you--you can't see her... or hear from her... at all.

Rafe: Okay, you're going to back off, and you're going to back off now.

Sami: No. She is stalling about getting that paternity test, and I'm not going to sit around and do nothing about it.

Rafe: That is not your call.

Sami: Actually, it is, because if she is stalling, that is proof that she and Nick are trying to pull something on Will.

Gabi: No, okay? That's not true. I'm trying to do what's best for the baby.

Rafe: You see this? It is not backing off, and that is what's going to get you a restraining order. Do you understand?

Will: Mom, Mom. Please, please go back to the office.

Sami: I am not doing anything wrong here. She is the one who is lying and manipulating.

Rafe: Okay, one more word out of you, and I am calling the lawyer.

Gabi: Okay, please, stop. Guys, please. Guys, please stop! [Gasps] Oh, my God. Oh, my God, the baby.

Nicole: Eric? Eric. Oh, God. Are you okay? [Gasps] Eric, say something. [Sobbing] Say-- Eric, Eric, you... you can't die. You can't die on me. You can't. Eric... I love you.
