Brady: You awake?
Kristen: And when I do wake up, I'm gonna have amnesia about everything that happened last night.
Brady: [Sighs] There's no need.
Kristen: It was disgusting. I was drunk in front of you.
Brady: It was fine. You were--it was not disgusting. I don't judge. I love you. Everything's fine.
Kristen: I thought we said we were always gonna be honest with each other.
Brady: We are.
Kristen: Then why did you just lie to me?
Daniel: [Laughing] Hey. Someone's wide awake. You ready? Let's see what you got. Wow! Oh, I'm ready. Look out! Let's see how you're feeling. Hmm? Oh, yeah, you are nice and cool--no fever at all.
Chloe: Hey, guys. Look at you, bright eyes, all wide awake. [Gasps] Playing? Wow! And you...
Chloe: Are connected.
Chloe: Yeah, you were sleeping, and I couldn't, so I decided to go out and get you a new cell phone.
Daniel: That is so nice. It's--it's on and programmed. How'd you get all my data on a new phone?
Chloe: Well, I had to work 'em a little. I just told 'em I was your wife.
Jennifer: Hi, thank you for coming so much.
Hope: Oh, of course. You sounded completely freaked out. And since you're not in Chicago where you're expected to be--
Jennifer: I know. It's a mess. It's just a mess.
Hope: Well, what happened? Did Chloe ruin the night?
Jennifer: Yes. But not the way that you think. And she had help.
Will: Well, it's... not T. I spoke to him. He didn't send the text message.
Lucas: You're sure about that? He gave you a lot of trouble when you first came out.
Will: I know, but it's-- it's not him. He wouldn't threaten me with, like, anything like that. So what about the phone? Any--anything on the phone?
Lucas: No, the phone's a dead end. I told you--it's, like, a disposable or something. We can't trace it.
Will: So we just got to-- okay, we just got to work backwards and figure it out.
Lucas: We got to start with a motive.
Lucas: Are you sure Nick didn't send that text?
Will: Who would do this?
Lucas: Well, that's a really good question, because it happened a long time ago, and only a few people know the truth. There's Stefano and EJ.
Will: And there's Mom, and there's you.
Gabi: That sounds like Will.
Kate: [Scoffs] [Sighs] [Sighs] Oh, my God. Oh.
Rafe: [Sighs] [Groans]
Kate: Uh... good morning.
Daniel: You told them you were my wife, and they just handed over all my data to you?
Chloe: Well, it wasn't exactly like that. I just knew that you had to be up and running first thing this morning.
Daniel: Well, how'd you convince the phone company?
Chloe: Well, it wasn't that hard. I remember your Social Security number. And it's not like you ever change your passwords. So everything was pretty much the same as before.
Daniel: Oh, no, not everything.
Chloe: Well, Daniel, you're a doctor. People have to be able to find you, okay? You need a phone. So this way, you got to spend more time with Parker. [Gasps]
Daniel: Thank you.
Chloe: Missing anything important?
Daniel: Uh, no. No, not really.
Jennifer: I shot myself in the foot because I got so angry because of what Chloe planned.
Hope: You should've been.
Jennifer: Yeah, I know, but that didn't help me deal well with what actually happened. So I was driving home, and I'm thinking, "My gosh, Daniel's right." And I lay there all night, thinking I have sunk to Chloe's level.
Hope: If you think you're wrong, you should apologize.
Jennifer: I did. I called the hospital. I left a note saying that I was so sorry.
Jennifer: Nothing. Not a word back.
Will: Dad, it's not Nick.
Lucas: And who else has a reason to get you out of the way?
Will: I don't know, but Nick is being really great about everything, and he's totally come around.
Lucas: I'll bet he has. Sounds like a cover to me, that's what it sounds like.
Will: Dad, what--what you're saying does not make any sense. I'm sorry, because even if Nick wanted to hurt me, he has no idea I shot EJ. How would he possibly know that?
Nick: Hey! I, uh, thought you were working this morning.
Gabi: I was. What were you listening to?
Brady: You think I'm lying? I do love you.
Kristen: If you say so.
Brady: If I say so? What is wrong with you this morning? What's going on?
Kristen: You're holding something back... about us getting married.
Brady: Kristen, we talked about this. I told you.
Kristen: I know what you told me. It's what you haven't told me that I'm concerned about. You're keeping something from me.
Brady: Hold on a minute. W-where did-- how did we get from you having a hangover to I'm in the hot seat all of a sudden? I mean, that was impressive. How did you do that? Kristen, hey. We talked about this. Remember? If we get married right now, it's gonna kill any chance of me resurrecting my relationship with my father and Marlena. You know that.
Kristen: That's not the only reason.
Brady: You don't think that's the only reason?
Kristen: You told me it wasn't the only reason?
Brady: I did?
Kristen: Yes, you did.
Brady: No, I didn't.
Kristen: Yes, you did. And when I asked you what was the reason, you said, "Just me." That's what you said.
Kristen: Unfortunately for you--
Brady: No, I was just talking. It didn't mean anything.
Kristen: I'm a drunk that actually remembers.
Brady: Hold on a second.
Kristen: You were putting me off.
Brady: I was not. I thought it was the booze talking, Kristen. Come on. Oh, come-- look, I want to talk about this some more. I do, but I got to go. I got to get my phone from Daniel. I got to go to the office. I do. I got to go. But I want to talk to you about this later. Can I see you later, please? Come on. Please?
Lucas: Look, if it's not Nick that's blackmailing you, my vote goes back to EJ.
Will: No, that's too twisted.
Lucas: For EJ DiMera? Come on, he's dying to look like a hero in your mom's eyes. Sets up this whole scenario, and then he swoops in at the end just to save the day-- that's so like him. What? What?
Will: I forgot about Mom. Please tell me you didn't say anything to her.
Nick: I'm just in nerd land. It's a new speech software.
Gabi: That sounded just like Will.
Nick: Yeah. I guess it kind of did, actually. Hey, baby, you don't--you don't look so good.
Gabi: Thanks. I was gonna lay down. That's why I came up here.
Nick: Mrs. Brady sent you up?
Nick: Oh, then you definitely have to lie down. And you didn't sleep last night either.
Gabi: Well, I was-- I don't know--I was just thinking about the paternity test.
Nick: Hey. I don't want you to worry about that, okay? Please. It's gonna work out for us and our baby. I promise you.
Daniel: Are these all my messages?
Receptionist: I guess so. I haven't taken any calls for you, Dr. Jonas.
Kayla: Okay, Parker is good to go. There you are.
Chloe: Great. Thank you.
Daniel: So he's, uh--he's ready?
Kayla: Yes. I'm so glad it wasn't more serious.
Chloe: So are we. Thank you again, Kayla.
Daniel: Thank you.
Kayla: My pleasure. You know it. All right, I'll see you guys.
Chloe: [Sighs] I have a wonderful idea.
Jennifer: I just think Daniel must still be angry with me.
Hope: You don't know that.
Jennifer: But what other explanation is there?
Hope: Well, first of all, he doesn't have his cell phone. Secondly, his child's sick. He's probably been up with him all night.
Jennifer: I know, but there's a phone at the nurse's desk.
Hope: You know what, cuz? No news is no news. You don't know what's going on. Are you calling Daniel?
Jennifer: Uh, yes, this is Jennifer Horton. I left a message last night for Dr. Jonas. Oh! He just picked them up. Okay. No, I already left him one. That's fine. Thank you. Uh, Daniel just picked his messages up, and he read them.
Hope: Okay. He's probably still with Parker. He's worried about him. How's he doing this morning?
Jennifer: I don't know. And even if I called to check, they wouldn't tell me. I'm not family. But Parker's okay. That's not the reason Daniel didn't call me, Hope.
Hope: Okay, so he's still upset with you. And you agree he has every right to be, correct?
Hope: All right, so maybe you have a little work to do here. You're okay with that, right? You don't have a problem with it.
Jennifer: No. No.
Hope: Just a little word of advice--don't assume Daniel's doing or feeling something... or someone, for that matter. Go, talk to him. Find out for yourself, cuz.
Jennifer: I know. You're right. And I just want you to live right here on my shoulder, like the smart little angel, and just whisper things in my ear every day, all day.
Hope: You are so funny. You know what? This little angel has a "b" and "e" to solve this morning, so, um... I'll have my cell phone on...
Hope: As usual. And go get 'em, all right? I'm rooting for this.
Jennifer: Me too.
Hope: I love you, cuz.
Jennifer: Love you.
Hope: Mwah. I'll check with you later.
Hope: Thanks for the cookies.
Chloe: I know that you're supposed to have Parker all by yourself today, but I'm not ready to let him out of my sight yet.
Daniel: No, no, no. I get it. I get it. I can go ahead and work today, and then we'll just--we'll reschedule.
Chloe: No, I wouldn't do that to you. So how about this? I'll come home with you and Parker, spend a few hours just to make sure that he's comfortable and settled, and then you can have him all to yourself the rest of the day.
Daniel: Are you sure about that?
Chloe: Yeah. It's perfect.
Kate: It's a little late for that, don't you think?
Rafe: Um, maybe? Is it?
Kate: I-I think so.
Rafe: So we...? [Mumbles]
Kate: Y-yeah, as I recall. Don't you remember?
Rafe: No. We were drinking.
Kate: Yeah! [Laughing] If you don't remember, then I--
Rafe: No, no. We walked here, right?
Kate: Yeah. Look, I--you know, I was gonna make a graceful exit before you woke up, so...
Rafe: No, wait.
Kate: You know, really, I don't think we need to have a long, drawn-out reconstruction of the night. You don't remember.
Rafe: I didn't say that. Did I--no, okay?
Kate: Really, these things happen. You know, we are both adults. No one was harmed, so...
Rafe: No. No, it was--
Kate: It was a mistake. [Chuckles]
Rafe: Yeah. Yeah.
Chloe: I'm just remembering how great it is that you're a doctor. It makes me feel safe to have you around for Parker.
Daniel: I'm glad. All right, listen, I got to meet Brady, return his phone, and then I got to pick up some stuff for Parker. But you're gonna be okay for a while?
Chloe: Yeah, of course. I remember where everything is.
Daniel: Yes, you do. All right, I will, uh--I'll be back soon, okay?
Chloe: Bye! Say, "Bye, Daddy."
Lucas: I would never turn your mother loose on something like this. She'd only make things worse. You know that.
Will: Yes, thank you. [Sighs] So what do I do, then?
Lucas: You do nothing.
Lucas: Nothing at all. Look, I've been thinking about this all night, okay? Check this out. What does that say?
Will: I-I read the text message. I know what it says already.
Lucas: "I know your son shot EJ DiMera." That's what it says. It doesn't say "I have proof that he shot EJ. I have evidence." None of that is in there.
Will: They obviously have evidence if they know what I did.
Lucas: If they had evidence, Will, they would tell you that. It's not here!
Will: The police have evidence! All they need to do is go to the police, right?
Lucas: They have the stuff they took from the cabin.
Will: Yes, and that has my fingerprints on it-- on everything.
Lucas: Yeah, you know what? I still think they're blowing smoke.
Will: Why? Why do you think that?
Lucas: To rattle you maybe.
Will: Well, it worked.
Nick: Stop worrying about the paternity test. You won't have to take it.
Gabi: How can you say that? You were all for it.
Nick: I didn't want to make a big thing with Sami and Will. I think it's just-- it's better for now if they think that we're on Will's side.
Gabi: Well, aren't we?
Nick: Is that the way it feels to you?
Gabi: I think that Will's not gonna be a problem, it's just his mom is pushing him.
Nick: Or... it--it could be Sonny.
Nick: Well, I saw them yesterday at the coffeehouse, and the way they were... I don't know. It just--it feels like it's possible that Sonny's behind this whole paternity thing.
Sonny: I'm gonna be watching you a lot more closely now... for Will's sake.
Nick: Gabi? Are you okay?
[Knock at door]
Kristen: Good morning, Father.
Stefano: Oh, it's a beautiful morning, darling. And I have some wonderful news. [Clears throat] My work here is almost finished, so I should be home soon.
Stefano: "Good"? Is that all you can give me?
Stefano: Well... [Chuckles] Are you even listening? Where are you?
Kristen: I'm right here.
Stefano: Oh, I see. It must be all about John Black's spawn, huh? Again.
Kristen: Yes, it is. I'm concerned about Brady, okay?
Daniel: Wow. There you are. Hey. Thank you. Lifesaver, literally.
Brady: You're welcome. No problem. How's Parker doing?
Daniel: Well, we got him home, so...
Brady: It's amazing kids bounce back like that. You know, 105 temperature, and then he's fine the next day.
Daniel: I know. Sometimes they don't. I mean, that's why it's scary as hell.
Brady: Yeah. I'm glad he's all right.
Brady: What's wrong with you?
Brady: Something's wrong with you.
Daniel: Oh, it's just-- I don't know--sort of a messy night, I guess.
Brady: "A messy night"-- you want to talk about that?
Daniel: No, I really don't. In fact, it's Jenn. She's the one I should talk to.
Jennifer: Hello... again.
Chloe: Yeah, I'm here.
Jennifer: Is Daniel here?
Jennifer: How's Parker?
Chloe: Much better, thank you. But neither one of us wanted to leave him today, obviously, so we're both spending the day with him.
Jennifer: Yeah, that's good. I'm glad you're doing that. Is Daniel gonna be back soon?
Chloe: I don't know. Do you want to leave him a message?
Jennifer: No, I'll just-- I'll come back. Thank you.
Chloe: You know what? Stay. Um... there's something that we should talk about.
Gabi: I-I'm sorry, Nick. I'm just being irrational-- you know, baby on board. I'm gonna worry.
Nick: No, you're--you're not making this up. I mean, I'm just saying, I won't let it happen.
Nick: Whatever it is you're worried about. Tell me.
Gabi: It's just-- I don't know. I... I'm scared they're gonna take the baby.
Nick: They have no grounds to question you as a mother. They don't know anything... except for your ex-con husband. But I guarantee you, baby, this will not go before a judge, you know? I promise you, I will not cost you this baby, all right? I'm working it out right now. Rest up.
Lucas: You're really worried about this, aren't you?
Lucas: Honestly, I don't think anything's gonna come of this. It's just a bunch of empty threats--that's all.
Will: It's not just a threat, Dad. It's a reminder of what an idiot I can be. I mean, I tried to kill somebody.
Lucas: So, you know, you tried to kill EJ DiMera. There's a whole bunch of us that would want to do that, right?
Will: It was a stupid move, and it was irrational. And you ended up paying for it when it should've been me.
Lucas: I was not gonna let you go to prison.
Will: You should-- I... I should've.
Lucas: Well, I didn't give you a choice. So, if you want to blame someone, blame me.
Will: Dad, I should've owned up to what I did... no matter what you tried to tell me to do.
Lucas: Your mom and I screwed up your life enough. We weren't gonna let you start out with a record too. You didn't deserve this. You're a good kid. You're a good man. And you're gonna be a good dad.
Will: I want to be.
Lucas: No, you will be.
Rafe: Right. Yeah.
Kate: Do you think it was a mistake?
Rafe: [Scoffs] I, um... I have not been in this position in a long time, so... I don't know what to say.
Kate: Exactly the reason that we shouldn't talk.
Rafe: Well, um, it is coming back to me, by the way. I mean--
Kate: Oh, my God.
Rafe: We were drinking, right? You were--you were telling a story about the Italian witch.
Rafe: Right, and then you tried to walk in the heels.
Kate: Okay, all right, all right, all right! If you really need to talk about it, I would really prefer to do it upright, clothed, and clear-headed, okay? So let's just try to do that.
Kate: Really? You're laughing at--
Rafe: The stairs? On the way up here? Yeah.
Kate: Okay, so, on my way out, I'm gonna make sure that nothing was broken.
Rafe: You don't have to.
Kate: No, it's the least--
Rafe: No, you don't have to go. No.
Kate: I thought that we both agreed this is--this is a big mistake.
Rafe: Well, you were putting words into my mouth.
Kate: What the hell? [Laughs]
Kristen: Look, I know Brady's keeping something from me. I was pretty sure he was. But now I'm 100% sure that he is.
Stefano: Sweetheart, don't forget what you are keeping from him, huh? So don't be like a spoiled wife, all right? Or a hurt wife or even, for that matter, a hurt mistress, okey-dokey? You have to keep your eye on what you are going to do here, because this is something that you have chosen to do.
Kristen: I know that. I'm upset because it means I'm missing something. I thought that my research was so thorough and I knew everything there was to know about Brady.
Stefano: And so now there's a mystery, all right? So bravo, okay? But don't get so involved in that that you forget about the prize.
Kristen: Oh, I'm gonna get it out of him, believe me. Then he's gonna propose, and I'll probably break his heart before you even get back here.
Stefano: Aha! So you really were listening, huh?
Kristen: Unless, of course, you--maybe you want to watch when it happens.
Stefano: No, no, no, no. Look, you get this over with as soon as possible, okay?
Kristen: Are you sure you're ready to come back here?
Stefano: Why wouldn't I be?
Kristen: Because nobody likes you here. You'll have to run into your ex-wife Kate all the time. Ugh.
Stefano: So what? She's old news, okay? As a matter of fact, I don't even think about her anymore.
[Kate and Rafe laughing]
Rafe: Oh. Okay. So... I'm guessing that's the second mistake.
Kate: Oh, speak for yourself.
Kate: Really. You know, I cannot be held responsible for any of my actions before my second cup of coffee. That's all I'm saying.
Rafe: Are you really going with that?
Kate: Oh, my God. See, you know, this doesn't make any sense. This makes no sense whatsoever. We could end up on totally opposite sides of a war.
Rafe: W-what? Are you talking about Gabi and Will? What? I mean, you said last night, "No sides." What happened to that and... "Reasonable reasonableness"? Huh?
Kate: I said that, didn't I?
Rafe: Yeah, you did.
Kate: Oh, God.
Rafe: Yeah. You also said that you were gonna help me with Sami.
Kate: Well, you know, we both know the odds of that working out. [Sighs] Okay, I will--I'll talk to her, but you need to keep an eye on Nick.
Kate: Yes, Nick. I don't trust Nick. I know-- he's gonna marry Gabi, and you are all in love with him, but I'm not convinced. Say it's, uh, survivor's instinct, but you need to keep your eye on him.
Rafe: Slow and easy.
Kate: It was better horizontal.
Rafe: Sure was.
Kate: [Grunts] Well, I have to go. I really have to go. So... thank you. Last night was unexpected.
Rafe: Yeah. But, uh... in a good way?
Kate: [Laughing] Oh, yes.
Kate: I really do have to go.
Rafe: Deadbolt on the inside. Key's in the canister under the sink.
Kate: I'm surprised you trust me.
Rafe: Hmm. I didn't say I trust you. I'm moving as soon as you leave.
Kate: [Laughing] Oh.
[Door opens, closes]
[Knock at door]
Hope: Hey, Nick!
Hope: How are you, honey?
Nick: You have a minute?
Hope: I always have time for you--what's up? How's Gabi?
Nick: Well, she's, uh, stressed. Will asked for a paternity test.
Hope: Out of nowhere?
Nick: Not really. I think I can guess where the idea came from.
Hope: This doesn't make any sense, though. Gabi isn't claiming that Will isn't the father. And she's been involving him in everything, hasn't she?
Nick: Exactly. So why make a big deal about a paternity test when the paternity isn't even in question? Why make a paper trail?
Hope: Oh, brother.
Nick: Sami is pushing Will to go for custody of this baby... in court.
[Knock at door]
Rafe: Gabi? Gabs? Hello? Hey! Did I wake you?
Gabi: Mm-mm. I wasn't--I was just resting.
Rafe: Oh, okay. You know what? Go back to resting, okay?
Rafe: No, I'm sorry. I just--I thought you were working downstairs today.
Gabi: I was, but I was too tired.
Rafe: Are you not sleeping okay?
Gabi: It's kind of hard.
Rafe: Tell me.
Rafe: What's wrong?
Gabi: Okay, well, I'm-- I'm not sure yet, so don't freak out.
Rafe: Hmm. Why, 'cause you're freaking out for me? Tell your big brother what's going on.
Gabi: Well, you were right. Sami's coming after me.
Chloe: What you did last night was inexcusable. Now, I don't know how or why you have this saintly reputation, because that move was pure cruelty. The fact that you could lie to Daniel about--
Jennifer: No, I didn't lie to Daniel. I lied to you. And considering your history, do you really want to talk about lying to Daniel?
Chloe: What if Parker had been sicker? Or what if, God forbid, he would've died and his father wasn't there because of your paranoia?
Jennifer: Chloe, it is not paranoia when someone is really out to get you. I know about the note to call child services. I know the stunt you pulled the first night Daniel and I tried to get away.
Chloe: This is sad.
Jennifer: Really, you're not subtle...at all. Now, I know last night was a genuine emergency.
Chloe: Yeah, lucky for me, my child was deathly ill. What a great plan.
Jennifer: No, I understand that that was not planned. But I do know that you and Anne were at Inferno because you thought that Daniel and I were gonna be there.
Chloe: Are you kidding me? This is unbelievable. You're the one who does something terrible and unforgivable, but I'm on the grill?
Jennifer: Chloe, listen to me--I am so sorry... that you couldn't reach Daniel. And that will never happen again. But I am telling you, all of this is not gonna help you to get Daniel back. I promise you.
Chloe: You know what? I've had enough. I don't have time for this.
Jennifer: Okay, well, you're the one who asked me to stay.
Chloe: You know what? You can go now.
Jennifer: [Sighs] Why—
Gabi: You know, I kind of know where Will's coming from, sort of.
Rafe: Yeah, but this sounds like Sami, though.
Gabi: Or EJ. I mean, he's a lawyer, right?
Rafe: Right. So he's building a case... against you. No, no, no, the hell with that.
Gabi: Rafe! Rafe! No, stop!
Rafe: I will not, okay? I'm on this. I'm on it.
Gabi: No, Rafe, stop! No--okay, stop! Please don't... because every time you go over there, Sami gets worse. And I really--I know you're trying to help, but... no.
Rafe: Right. All right. I am gonna help... by not going over there... not stirring her up, okay?
Gabi: Thank you.
Rafe: I probably started this, didn't I?
Gabi: Well, I mean, who knows, you know?
Rafe: But you know what? Not everyone on that side is nuts. I know exactly the person to talk to.
Kristen: [Gasps] Hi.
Kristen: I didn't expect to see you back so soon.
Brady: Yeah, yeah, me neither.
Brady: I do love you. You can count on that.
Kristen: Okay, I think I just lost this conversation.
Brady: Kristen, Kristen, no, please... you were right.
Kristen: Maybe I just got interested again.
Brady: I mean it.
Kristen: Okay, I'm sorry. I was right about what?
Brady: The reason I can't get married to you. It's not just about my dad and Marlena. [Sighs] I didn't tell you everything.
Jennifer: I feel like I haven't seen you in days.
Daniel: [Laughs] I know.
Jennifer: I... just wanted to let you know how happy I am that Parker's okay.
Daniel: Yeah, yeah. Thank you. So that's it? That's why you came all the way over here?
Jennifer: Yeah, isn't it obvious?
Daniel: Uh... no, it isn't.
Jennifer: Listen, I really--
Daniel: Look, I'm surprised that I-- go ahead.
Jennifer: No, you can go.
Daniel: I didn't want you to--
Jennifer: You need to go be with your son. Chloe's gonna be thrilled that you're here.
Hope: I can't believe it's come to this already. They've gone from zero to custody battle.
Nick: I know. Hope, we cannot lose this baby because of me.
Hope: No. No, no, no. That is not going to happen. We're gonna vouch for you. The Hortons will stand behind you. You're a good man.
Nick: Thank you. And that's incredible. But is that gonna be enough? You know, I mean, it's family court, right?
Hope: Yeah, that's right.
Nick: Right, so the rules are a little different, aren't they? I mean, what counts as evidence?
Hope: Whatever the judge wants to hear, basically. You see, in family court, the standard and the burden are different, and the rules of evidence are very different.
Nick: Hmm. So what about, like, a tape recording?
Hope: Well, if the judge feels it's relevant to the case, yeah, sure. It would be allowed.
Jennifer: Are you sure that Daniel checked all of the messages in his box?
Receptionist: Yeah, it looked like he read them all. Threw some away.
Kayla: Hey, Jennifer. Did you hear that Parker went home?
Jennifer: Uh, yes. It's really great.
Kayla: Something wrong?
Jennifer: Yeah, I made a mistake. And I just have this sick feeling that Daniel's not gonna forgive me for it.
Chloe: Hey. Parker's room is perfect. It has everything.
Daniel: Yeah, well, you know, I tried. I thought I, uh--I thought I heard Parker crying earlier.
Chloe: Oh. Well, yeah, just for a second. He just wanted his choo-choo. Oh, did you get his cherry juice?
Daniel: I did! Look at this, right here-- cherry juice.
Chloe: Oh, perfect.
Daniel: Hmm? Okay, well, you know, if, um... you're hungry, there's a lot more food in here, so... I'm sure you must be hungry. If you're gonna be here for a while...
Daniel: Help yourself.
Chloe: Gonna take that to him?
Daniel: [Laughing] I'll go take this to him.
Chloe: [Sighs] Yeah, I'll be here for a little while longer.
Brady: Sit down.
Kristen: Oh. You know, I-I-- I didn't mean to pressure you.
Brady: I know. No, I know you didn't. [Sighs] Mm. It's-- it's not really easy for me to talk about, but you deserve to know the truth.
Kristen: Which is?
Brady: I can't marry you. It's not because of Dad or Marlena. It's... it's not about waiting till things calm down. Those aren't the reasons at all. It's not gonna change. I can't ever marry you.
