Nicole: It would just go a lot faster if I did it myself.
Eric: Nicole, wait a minute.
Eric: Just--can you just tell me why you're pushing me away like this? I mean, is something wrong?
Nicole: Yeah. Look, it's just that everything in here has to be coded to the new school website, and I'm still learning how to code.
Eric: Well, it's gotta be a piece of cake for a smart cookie like you.
Nicole: [Laughs] Yeah, right. Okay, I'm computer smart but not life smart. Mm-mm. Not so much.
Eric: I know you were trying to help me when you set up Kristen. And I'm sorry it backfired on you, but maybe you should've talked to me about it first before you did it.
Nicole: Yeah, you would've encouraged me not to interfere.
Eric: Maybe. But you know there's nothing you can't talk to me about.
Nicole: Could you just leave me alone? Okay?
Lucas: No, Allie, I want you to have a good time. Just text me when you want me to pick you up, okay? All right. I love you. And I miss you, and be safe, okay?
Chloe: You're still a wonderful father.
Lucas: Chloe. I heard you were back in town.
Chloe: Yeah. Long time no see. I'm guessing you wish it were longer.
[Knock at door]
Daniel: Oh, man.
Daniel: All right, um, not that I'm complaining at all, believe me, but what-- what was that about? Wow.
Jennifer: This would be me picking up where we left off last night.
Daniel: Oh, yeah?
[Light rock music playing]
EJ: So how is the hot chocolate?
Johnny: Great. Sydney's gonna wish she didn't have a play date today.
EJ: Oh, I'll bring Sydney out another time. I wanted this to be just the two of us. Man and man.
Johnny: Rafe calls me dude.
EJ: He does?
Johnny: Will Rafe be at Mommy's when we get back there?
EJ: I doubt it. Why do you ask?
Johnny: I told him my FBI jacket got too little. He's gonna get me a bigger one.
Sami: I think that you should talk to the lawyer that EJ recommended.
Sami: Because I think you should insist Gabi take a paternity test. Immediately.
Will: Pater--okay. Why would I do that? Everybody knows I'm the father.
Sami: Everybody knows that because Gabi is saying that. What if she decides to say something different?
Will: She wouldn't.
Sami: You don't know that. She's gonna be with Nick. They might get married. Then the baby's gonna come. What if she decides that's the easiest way to get rid of you? To put Nick's name down as the father on your daughter's birth certificate.
Gabi: I am her mother, okay? The court can't take a baby away from--from their mother.
Rafe: Well, let me tell you exactly what Sami said. The court may take issue with you being married to a convicted murderer.
Gabi: Oh, my God. They can't take the baby away from me. No, no, no. I-I'd want to die, Rafe.
Rafe: Exactly why you have to take this so seriously.
Gabi: Are you-- are you saying that I shouldn't marry Nick?
Rafe: I'm not telling you what to do. I'm just saying that you have to face reality. And the reality is, if you and Nick and Will get into a custody battle, Will is gonna use every weapon he has. And Nick's past is a weapon.
Gabi: No. No, you're wrong. Will would never do something like that to me.
Rafe: Well, maybe he wouldn't have before. But now Sami is involved. And trust me, she will find a way to convince him that is what he has to do.
Will: Gabi is not gonna put Nick's name on the birth certificate.
Sami: I don't see that there's a problem with you protecting your own rights.
Will: Gabi wants me to be part of my baby's life. So does Nick.
Sami: You're 100% sure of that?
Sami: Then why not just get the paternity test, you know? Just have it in writing.
Will: Because I am the father, and even if Gabi and Nick don't--want to pretend otherwise, it doesn't matter. I'm the dad. I am the father.
Sami: [Scoffs] You don't think it matters? I mean, if Gabi put Nick's name down on the baby's birth certificate?
Will: Then, I guess, if that happens, then I would ask for a paternity test, yes.
Sami: Will, I know more about paternity tests than anybody you know, okay? And I'm telling you right now that if Gabi puts Nick's name down as the father, then it's on you. The burden of proof is on you. If she doesn't want a paternity test, you're gonna have to get a court order to get one. And if you think that's easy, you're wrong.
Will: I think you're just making things up just so I'll do whatever you want.
Sami: Okay, then don't believe me. Ask EJ's lawyer. Okay? Go to EJ's lawyer. Look, I get it. You like Gabi. But she's a girl. And she wants the man that she loves to be the father to her child, and in this situation, Nick wants that too. You've seen them together. You want to believe Gabi? Fine. But Nick could talk her into anything.
Johnny: I'm back!
Sami: [Laughing] Hey! Oh, sweetheart, did you have fun?
Johnny: We went ice-skating!
Sami: You did?
Johnny: Wanna play Space Avengers?
Will: Yeah, I do. Can we do--just a little bit later, all right?
EJ: How's everything here?
Sami: Fine. Uh, I'm gonna get Johnny all cleaned up and then be right back.
Johnny: You're not leaving, are you, Dad?
EJ: Um, not right now, no. No.
EJ: So...how's everything going?
Will: Oh, great. Mom just has this insane idea that I need to demand that Gabi gets a paternity test.
EJ: It's not an insane idea at all, William. That's exactly what you should do.
Eric: You know, I can see you're upset, and I don't think it's your workload. Is it something Kristen said?
Nicole: Oh, please. Like I would let her get to me.
Eric: You said that before, but you seem so different since you spoke with her. I go way back with that lady. I know what she's capable of. If she's threatened you--
Nicole: She didn't threaten me, okay? I'm just--I'm in a mood. Will you leave it alone?
Eric: I can't, because Kristen has the talent of saying one thing that can get under somebody's skin.
Kristen: Take it from somebody who knows. You don't want to fall in love with a priest.
Nicole: Okay, you're right. Kristen did say something that got to me.
Lucas: Is that why you came back, 'cause you found out that Daniel was the father after all?
Chloe: Did you talk to Philip?
Chloe: Yeah, turns out people were lining up to mess with the paternity test results.
Lucas: Really? Someone went behind your back to betray you? Wow. Upstanding person like yourself?
Chloe: How's Philip?
Lucas: How do you think he is?
Chloe: I didn't do this to him.
Lucas: Well, maybe you didn't mean it, but you're kind of like a whirlwind, aren't you? Enter a guy's life, knock everything down, and then you just keep on going.
Chloe: You know, I was kind of hoping that we were at the point where we could just have a polite conversation, but I guess not.
Lucas: Oh, don't flatter yourself. I'm over you.
Chloe: I know. But finding out that Daniel is the father of the child you thought was your nephew is probably not your favorite piece of news.
Lucas: You may have Daniel's son, but you sure blew it with him, didn't you?
Chloe: Not that you're gloating.
Lucas: No, actually, I'd like you to get back together, really.
Lucas: Mm-hmm. You deserve each other. Not only that, but he'd have to leave my sister the hell alone.
Daniel: Okay. Get in here. So you--you understand about last night.
Jennifer: Yes, Daniel, I do, because Parker was cranky, and Chloe was exhausted, and I have--I have been there. And our evening got cut short, but you know what? You got to hear your son call you Daddy. And that's incredible. And I know how much that means to you, and I'm so happy for you.
Daniel: Thank you. But, you know, we didn't get to finish our night, you know, and you said something about picking up where we left off.
Jennifer: Yes, and Aunt Maggie just happened to mention to me that she told Chloe that, um, she would take over for Parker tonight.
Daniel: What do you know?
Jennifer: And I just happened to look at your surgical schedule for tomorrow, and you're not on it.
Daniel: Well, by golly, I think you're right.
Jennifer: I know. So I called Brady.
Daniel: Well, what part of that is picking up where we left off?
Jennifer: Well, you know, he's been talking about you and I and him and Kristen going on this double date together, right?
Daniel: Are you comfortable with that?
Jennifer: Yeah. Yeah, I am. She has been quite lovely to me lately, actually. And she has connections to get to the front of the line in the hottest club in Chicago, according to Abigail.
Daniel: Wow. Chicago, huh?
Daniel: Well, that sure is a long drive back from a big night out.
Jennifer: Right, but you would only have to go as far as East Walton Place.
Daniel: Oh, yeah? What's there?
Jennifer: Well, let's see. There's a hotel that looks at the lake.
Daniel: Right on.
Daniel: The lake?
Jennifer: With a reservation.
Daniel: One room?
Daniel: Well, you have been a very busy girl.
Jennifer: Well, when I knew that Parker was covered and that you were not working tomorrow, I felt very motivated. So are we on?
Daniel: We are on.
Daniel: Yes. You know, I just have to, um, go over there, see Parker before we leave.
Jennifer: Okay, and I just have a couple errands to take care of myself.
Daniel: So we're gonna just get in my car and just go?
Jennifer: Yes! We are just gonna go. We're just gonna go, and nothing is gonna stop us.
Jennifer: Nothing. Nothing.
Gabi: I don't care what Sami says, okay? Nick is not the same person he used to be when he got in trouble.
Rafe: A prison record is a prison record. It's not like he was in jail for fraud or something. We're talking about a violent crime. Get it?
Gabi: I don't care. Okay? Nick is-- is the most gentle person I have ever met, and-- and I want to spend my life with him, and I want to have a baby of our own with him, and if I want him to raise this baby with me, then shouldn't that make a difference to a judge?
Lucas: Man, I went to prison for you!
Rafe: I'm sorry. I know you love Nick, okay? I just want you to be aware of the fact that being with him can have consequences, consequences you may not like. Sami is not gonna give in on this. You don't have a choice.
Gabi: [Sighs] Why do things have to be like this, Rafe? I mean, this is the whole reason why Nick and I wanted to say it was his, so that our families wouldn't go into this battle. And now this is exactly what's happening.
Will: So you agree with my mom. That's--well, surprise, surprise.
EJ: Look, William, your mother and I both know a great deal about custody fights.
Will: Yeah, with each other.
EJ: We both care very passionately about our children. Neither one of us wants to spend a night away from them. That is something you're going to understand very clearly when you have your daughter. William, William, when children are the issue, these situations can become incredibly volatile. Very emotional. And that's why you need to arm yourself with the facts. Because in a situation like this, if you have a legal document that says that you are this child's father, that can offer you as much protection as a suit of armor.
Nicole: Kristen... she did threaten me.
Nicole: She said she wouldn't make an issue about me loading stolen documents onto her computer unless I did something else to her, and if I did, then she would--she would come down on me, hard.
Eric: She means it. You do not want to mess with her.
Nicole: Feeling like I helped you and Brady, it made me feel so good about myself.
Eric: And now you don't? Do you want to talk about that?
Nicole: No, I--mm. You asked me what was wrong, and I told you.
Eric: Because you were trying to help me, and I pushed you away.
Nicole: This isn't about you, okay? Could you just leave me alone? Just drop it. Stop.
Eric: Fine. Fine. I'm sorry I pushed you to talk. I was just trying to help. See you later.
Nicole: Eric, please, I told you, I don't want to--
Jennifer: Is this a bad time?
Nicole: What are you doing here?
Jennifer: I came to see you, if that's okay.
Nicole: And what do you want with me?
Jennifer: I want to talk to you about Chloe.
Daniel: Do you want to hear something? Something really cool? Yeah? All right. Put these in your ears like this. You can hear... your heart. Do you hear that? Do you hear it? You want to hear this? Listen to this. Can you hear it? Is it going ba-bump? That's my heart. You know that? And it is beating really fast. And you want to know why? Because I have you here with me. That's why. [Laughing]
Chloe: Hey, guys.
Daniel: Hi. Hey.
Chloe: You having fun?
Chloe: So is the kid a natural at medicine?
Daniel: Well, so far, yes, indeed, he is a natural.
Chloe: Couldn't stay away from him, huh?
Chloe: After last night.
Daniel: Mm-mm, I can't stay away from him, period. This is my only chance to see him today, so--
Chloe: Well, it's never gonna be a problem, 'cause we always have time for Daddy, right?
Daniel: So I hear Maggie's gonna take over for you tonight, let you get some rest.
Chloe: Uh, yeah. Did she tell you that?
Daniel: Uh, no, no. She told Jennifer.
Daniel: Yeah, so now that I know you're covered, I went ahead and made some plans. This is my only chance to hang out with you today, isn't it?
Chloe: Oh, plans. Um, are they with Jennifer?
Daniel: Mm. Uh, yeah. Yes, they are.
Gabi: Everything is such a mess now. You and Sami probably would've been together if it hadn't been for this.
Rafe: Listen. Listen, if Sami and I couldn't figure out a way to get through this, then, well, we don't deserve to be together.
Gabi: Oh, come on. You don't mean that.
Rafe: I do. I do. I've been trying to sell myself on this version of Sami that doesn't even exist. I'm sick of it. Besides, she's back with EJ.
Gabi: That's awful.
Rafe: No, it's good. It's good. They deserve each other.
EJ: So, William, meet with this attorney that I've retained for you.
Will: No, thank you. I--look, I understand what you're--what you're saying. I understood most of it. But I consider Gabi my friend, and I trust her, and I don't ask my friends to take paternity tests.
EJ: [Drums fingers on table] He's loyal, this one.
Sami: Yeah, to a fault.
EJ: Look, William, that's commendable. It is. I just hope your faith in Gabi is well placed.
Will: It is.
EJ: As far as you know.
Will: What--what--I-- everybody is hinting at something that Gabi has done that I don't know about, but no one is telling me. So why don't you enlighten me, please?
EJ: Look, your mother doesn't know the details, and I'm not allowed to discuss it, okay?
Will: You're not allowed. Wow. Who says you're not allowed?
EJ: I do. William... if you knew the things that I know, you wouldn't think about Gabi the same way. Trust me.
Sami: But here's the thing. You do, okay, right? She's your friend. I totally get that. But if she's really that trustworthy, then she won't have a problem taking a paternity test.
Will: First of all, how am I supposed to say that? Am I supposed to just go-- how am I supposed to bring up the subject? "Hey, um, yeah, I just want to make sure the kid is mine. That's--is that all right? Is that--"
Sami: She'd rather hear it from you now than a judge later.
EJ: She's right.
Will: All right. Okay. Okay, if I do this, I do it-- I do it my way, okay? I'm going to figure out what I'm gonna say, and I'm gonna do it. I'll do it myself.
Sami: Okay, yes. I promise you, you will not regret this.
Will: [Scoffs] Okay. [Sighs heavily, clears throat] Thank you. I gotta go.
Sami: You okay?
Will: Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just-- I don't know. Somebody's telling me this, somebody's telling me that. Everyone's running around in circles. I just want to put it all on the table, I'm gonna figure it all out, and I'm gonna get-- I'm going to--I'm going to get it settled. So thanks.
Nick: And this, this will-- it will record everything, right?
Nick: That's great. That's great. I-I have this professor who kind of drones on and on and on, and it puts me to sleep, so--
Man: Yeah, well, this is voice-activated. It records up to eight hours.
Nick: Wow. So even if I'm, like, slumped over in my chair, it'll still catch the whole lecture, right?
Man: [Chuckles] Yeah. And it's also a transmitter. If you send the pen to class with a friend...
Man: You can listen on the earpiece at home.
Nick: Oh, really? Let me see it. [Laughs] That's great. That's great. I will take one of these, and, hey, you don't have any of those, uh, disposable phones, do you?
Man: Yes, we do.
Nick: You do. You're a lifesaver.
Chloe: I was thinking about something.
Chloe: Well, um, Parker is really taking to you now, um, and I'd hate to do anything to stop that progress.
Daniel: Yeah, well, so would I. What do you mean?
Chloe: Well, if you're gonna be gone for a whole day, then he might be uncomfortable with you next time he sees you, and you might have to start all over again.
Daniel: Um, I'm not going to let him forget me ever again. But I am going away tonight.
Chloe: Yeah, I just thought maybe if he could spend the night with you--
Daniel: Hey, Maggie and Victor, they are looking forward to this. All right? And tomorrow afternoon, I am gonna set up his room, put a little bed in there, so he and I can hang out for a night.
Chloe: Okay, sounds great.
Daniel: Okay. Um, so, uh, you and Maggie will have the number to where Jennifer and I will be. And you can always call me on my cell, okay?
Chloe: Okay, great. Let's just hope he has a better night tonight than he did last night.
Daniel: Well, you know what? You just let Maggie take over. She can fix that problem. And you, all right, take care of yourself. Okay? You deserve it. Okay. And you--I will see you later. Mwah. All right? [Silly voice] Good-bye. Good-bye! All right, see you.
Nicole: You want to talk to me about Chloe.
Nicole: Uh-huh. And why would I discuss her with you?
Jennifer: You and Chloe are friends, and I thought that maybe you could give me a little insight into what she wants. All right, Nicole, look. Okay, I don't like you, and you don't like me.
Jennifer: But I thought that when you apologized to me, I mean, you gave me the idea that you wanted to make some sort of amends for what we went through together. So now's your chance. Now you can do that. You can help me not go through this nightmare all over again.
Rafe: I'm sorry if I just kind of dumped this on you.
Gabi: It's okay.
Rafe: Just wouldn't have felt right if I didn't say anything.
Gabi: Well, I mean, just, I can't believe that you're thinking about me after what's happened with Sami and everything.
Rafe: Oh, pfft. Would you forget her? All right? You're my sister. And that's my niece, right in there.
Rafe: Two of the most important people in the world to me. Okay?
Rafe: Okay. [Grunts]
Nick: How's it going, guys?
Rafe: All right.
Nick: You on your way out?
Nick: Oh. I'm sorry I missed you.
Rafe: Yeah, well, guess you're just gonna be stuck with my beautiful sister.
Rafe: Take care.
Gabi: I'll try.
Rafe: All right.
Nick: See ya. What's wrong? You don't look too happy.
Gabi: Uh, yeah, we have to talk about something.
Nick: Whatever it is, I guarantee we're gonna be okay. I'm just happy to see you.
Will: Hey. Um, I'm glad you guys are here, because there's something that I kind of want to talk to you about.
Eric: So can I see her before she goes into surgery?
Nurse: She's very scared.
Eric: I'll do my best to reassure her.
Eric: Thanks for meeting me here.
Lucas: No problem.
Eric: I have a parishioner who's going into surgery.
Lucas: Oh, well, I hope everything's all right.
Eric: Yeah, me too.
Lucas: So is this about raising funds for the new school?
Eric: Well, I talked to Billie before she left, and she said you might be interested in taking her spot on the board.
Lucas: Yeah, yeah. She told me she said that.
Eric: You seem reluctant.
Lucas: I am. Nicole, she works in the church office, right?
Lucas: Well, I'll serve on the board on one condition: If you can make sure that she and I are never in the same room together. I mean ever.
Nicole: I'm sorry, but I am not going to talk about Chloe behind her back, especially not with you.
Jennifer: Okay, I guess it is too early for you to confide in me, Nicole.
Nicole: Yep, I guess you're right.
Jennifer: All right, this is about Daniel's happiness as much as it is mine. And I know you still care about him. So just think about something for me, okay? Do you think... that Chloe ending up with Daniel is the best thing for him?
Nicole: Watch yourself. Don't give her anything that she could use against you. Anything at all.
Chloe: I figured Daniel would be around all the time now that Parker's calling him daddy, but I guess not. He had to leave her last night, and now he can't wait to make it up to her. Ugh. She's got him right where she wants him. [Sighs] Or does she?
Sami: You were so great with Will. Thank you.
EJ: Well, I just want William to be as happy as Johnny is.
Sami: Well, I mean, you know, Johnny's problems are a little less complex.
EJ: [Stammers] He--yeah, he has one or two.
Sami: What are you talking about?
EJ: Did he tell you he's been talking to Rafe?
Sami: No, he's not.
EJ: Yeah. Mm-hmm. Rafe apparently has promised to get him a bigger FBI jacket.
Sami: No. No, absolutely not. That is not happening.
Nick: What's this, uh, what's this about, Will?
Gabi: Uh, you look serious.
Will: No, no, no. It doesn't have to be serious. Um... okay, so, you guys, we all want what's best for the baby, right? And you guys still want me to be a part of the baby's life.
Gabi: Yeah, of course. We--we mean that.
Nick: Yeah. So--so what's this about?
Will: Well, just, the thing is, is that I think Mom and EJ-- okay, I'm sorry, no, no. Um, I think that we should get a paternity test before the baby is born.
Daniel: What did I do with the--
Jennifer: Okay, here's this.
Daniel: I've got to give that to Chloe.
Jennifer: And this.
Daniel: All right, I will throw this and this in the trunk, okay?
Jennifer: Great, and I'm gonna call Brady and make sure we're still on for tonight.
Daniel: Yeah, yeah, I'd hate it if that part of the night fell through.
Jennifer: [Gasps] Oh--
Daniel: Stop--no, I'm kidding. I'm totally kidding. No, this is a great idea. It's perfect. And you are perfect.
Jennifer: You're amazing.
Daniel: [Laughs] All right.
Jennifer: Okay. Oh, wait, what's that?
Daniel: Oh, that's just the information about where we're gonna be. I promised Chloe that I'd give it to her, and I--
Jennifer: Oh, wait, you saw Chloe? I-I thought Maggie was taking care of Parker.
Daniel: No, no, she is, but then Chloe came in while I was there. Yeah, and you should've seen Parker. He was playing with my stethoscope, and I let him listen to his, like, little heartbeat, and I forgot my stethoscope as well.
Jennifer: That's okay. Does--does Chloe know that we're going to Chicago?
Daniel: No. All she knows is that we are going out tonight. That's it. All right? I just got a couple numbers for her. But nothing is gonna spoil our night. [Mouthing] Nothing.
Daniel: All right? Okay.
Daniel: All right, I'll be back.
Jennifer: [Sighs] All right, don't worry. Don't think about it. Just-- it's gonna be okay. I'm just gonna call Brady.
[Knock at door]
Chloe: Oh, good, you're home. Can I come in?
Eric: If you have feelings, you have feelings. And I can't do anything to change that.
Lucas: No, no, you can't.
Eric: I do think Nicole sincerely wants to change the way she lives her life, though.
Lucas: [Sucks teeth] Whatever you say.
Eric: Does this mean you don't want to be on the board? Because I can't guarantee you that you won't run into Nicole.
Lucas: No, Billie wants me to do it, and I know it's-- it's a good cause. It's the right thing to do. So I'm in.
Eric: Well, I don't want any scenes between you and Nicole.
Lucas: No, no. There won't be any scenes. But what you said about Nicole changing, I'll believe that when I see it.
Eric: Hi. Um, can I go in and see her now?
Nurse: She's in that room right there.
Eric: Thank you.
Eric: How you feeling, Mrs. Kelly?
Mrs. Kelly: Better, Father, now that you're here.
Gabi: Oh, okay. I-I'm just--I don't see why this is necessary. I mean, I've never denied that you're the baby's father.
Will: I know, I know. And--I know, I'm so sorry. But--but-- [Sighs] I've changed a lot since-- since, you know, you found out you were pregnant, and I used to want to run away from it, but now I don't. You know, I want to go on record, and I want to make it legal, and I want this little girl to know that, before she was even born, I was proud to say that I am her father.
Gabi: Your mom and EJ pushed you into this, didn't they? I can't believe that you let them do this to you.
Will: No, no, no, no.
Nick: It's okay.
Nick: It's okay, baby. I-I gotta say, I think I understand where EJ and your mom are coming from.
Gabi: You do?
Nick: Yeah, yeah. Well, I mean, before the wedding, you had said, and we all decided, that you were gonna kind of bow out, but now that you feel differently, I think they're probably just trying to protect you.
Will: Yeah, I-I think so. And I--trust me, they know. They've been through this a lot, so--
Nick: [Laughs] Right. I mean, so--so if the paternity test isn't gonna hurt Gabi or the baby, I don't see why it should be a problem.
Will: Okay. Thank you. I-I honestly didn't expect you to say that.
Gabi: Yeah, neither did I.
Nick: Well, we all need to think about what is going to be best for the baby. And I intend to make sure that that's exactly what happens.
Chloe: Thanks. Um, well, Daniel left his stethoscope when he was visiting with Parker.
Jennifer: Great. I will make sure that he gets that. Thank you very much.
Chloe: Um, I brought 'em here because I wanted to talk to you.
Jennifer: Um, okay. What about?
Chloe: Well, um, last night, it really changed everything for Parker and Daniel. They're--they're officially father and son now.
Jennifer: Yeah, I know. And it is--it's wonderful, really.
Chloe: Yeah, it is. It's the way it always should have been. Um, anyway, I just want to make sure that they get to spend as much time together as possible.
Jennifer: No, I agree. And you should call Daniel in the morning and set that up. We have plans tonight.
Chloe: Oh, I know.
Jennifer: And they're set in stone. We can't really change them.
Chloe: Uh, yeah, okay. I, uh, well, Daniel said he was going to give me the info where you guys are going. I can just get that from you, right?
Jennifer: Uh, you have his-- you have his cell phone number, right?
Chloe: Yeah, of course. But, you know, you never know with cell phones. The battery could die, or you could leave it somewhere. I just--I think it's really important to know where Daniel is all the time, just in case.
Eric: Through this holy anointing, may the Lord, in love and mercy, help you find grace in the Holy Spirit. May the Lord who frees you from sin save you and raise you up.
Nurse: Can I help you?
Nicole: Um, hi. Uh, these are fliers from St. Luke's. I was gonna leave them in the chapel, but there's a service going on in there.
Nurse: I can have a candy striper put them in there later.
Nicole: Oh, would that be okay? Thank you.
Nurse: No problem.
Eric: In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen. So they're gonna call me when you're in recovery. And then I will be here when they bring you back to your room, okay?
Mrs. Kelly: Thank you, Father.
Eric: You're welcome.
Nicole: [Whispers] Oh, God. You can't have feelings for this man. You can't. It's ri--ugh.
Jennifer: Uh, I agree. You should know where Daniel and I are gonna be. Uh, the thing is, we're gonna be right here in town. You know Club Inferno, right here in Salem?
Chloe: Yeah. I know that place. Sounds fun.
Jennifer: Yeah, we're really looking forward to it. So, if that's everything, if you're good, I'm good.
Daniel: Chloe? What are you doing here?
Sami: I just can't believe that Rafe is working Johnny to get back at me.
EJ: Look, Samantha, I didn't tell you this so that you'd suddenly start being angry with Rafe.
Sami: Well, I can't help but be angry. He's using that little boy to cause problems for us.
EJ: Well, possibly. Maybe he is. But look, Samantha, I may not like it when anybody gives my son an FBI jacket, let alone your ex-husband, but I can't change the fact that Johnny loves that jacket. He just does.
Sami: The bigger problem is that he loves Rafe.
EJ: Okay, yeah, no, possibly. Maybe he does. But I don't think that Rafe is just using Johnny to get in between you and me. He cares about Johnny. He cares about Sydney. I understand why, and I'm fine with that.
Sami: You're not threatened by him at all, are you?
EJ: No. Why would I be? I believe in us. Why would I worry about Rafe? Hmm?
Will: Okay. Thank you for being so understanding about this.
Nick: Well, all I've ever cared about is Gabi and the baby.
Gabi: I will talk to my doctor, and if he says it isn't dangerous, I guess it's okay.
Nick: Okay. So we're good?
Nick: Good. All right, I, um, I got some stuff to do, so I'll see you a little later.
Nick: You good?
Will: Oh, wait, wait. Sorry, I just--thank you.
Nick: Yeah, totally. Good to see you, Will.
Will: Yeah, okay, yeah.
Nick: Yeah. [Exhales] Um... [Whispering] Just so you know, I was--I was really scared about talking to you and Nick about this. I was dreading it.
Gabi: It's what you want.
Will: No, what I want, I-- is for us not to have a big fight. That's--that's the last thing I want.
[Cell phone rings]
Lucas: Sounds like Allie's ready to come home. What the hell?
