Billie: Oh, so I guess Hurricane Chloe didn't blow out of town after all.
Kate: Not only that. Daniel only got her to agree to minimal supervised visitation, which means I'm hardly ever going to see Parker.
Billie: Well, look on the bright side. At least he's not out of your life completely.
Kate: [Sighs] That's a small comfort.
Billie: Oh, so now you're gonna really make Chloe pay.
Kate: You have no idea, Billie.
Billie: Oh, I do. You know, I don't think this is Chloe's fault.
Kate: Really? Then whose fault is it?
Kristen: Hey, baby. What, you couldn't go a whole hour without hearing my voice?
Brady: No, I couldn't. But also--
Brady: No, there's no "uh-oh". It's just that I've had to make a couple of business calls from home and it's taking a little longer than I thought it would.
Kristen: Darn life. Always gets in the way of our fun. That's okay. I'm kind of running behind too, so I told the front desk that I gave you a key. If you get there before me just, um, go on up.
Brady: All right. I'll see you soon.
Kristen: I can't wait.
Roman: Well, looks like you just swallowed that canary everybody talks about.
Kristen: Oh, Roman. Is there anything wrong with greeting each day with a smile on my face? You, on the other hand, have that same sour look you always have.
Roman: 'Cause of you.
Kristen: What did I do now?
Roman: I just got an email from John. Said he was leaving town for a while.
Roman: You wouldn't have anything to do with that, would you?
Nicole: Okay, I think you've been hanging around Parker too long because you're talking to me like a two-year-old.
Daniel: That's because you're looking at me like you ate the last cookie in the cookie jar.
Nicole: Victor doesn't have a cookie jar. He has a chef with an endless supply of sweet treats.
Daniel: Don't change the subject on me.
Nicole: What? I'm not changing the subject.
Daniel: You think I don't know that look? You are up to something.
Nicole: Okay. Okay, you're right. You're right. I-I should know better than to hide things from you.
Jennifer: Uh, are you alone?
Chloe: Excuse me?
Jennifer: What are you doing here?
Nicole: I woke up this morning and Sister Margaret said she was praying for me. And then I ran into Father Matt and I started thinking about a lot of things.
Daniel: Such as?
Nicole: I'm trying to better my life, Daniel. I-I thought you understood that.
Daniel: I thought so too, but--
Nicole: But every now and then I am reminded of the life that I thought I was gonna have. And how much I wanted it. And what I was willing to do to get it.
Nicole: And then I saw you today holding Parker in your arms and... I need you to know I'm really happy for you. But I have to admit this is still really hard for me.
Daniel: No, I understand. Of course it is.
Nicole: You were the last person that I expected to see walk through that door.
Daniel: I, uh, was pretty surprised to see you myself. However, that look on your face, it wasn't surprised.
Nicole: That's what I'm trying to tell you. It was guilt.
Nicole: Oh, come on. Seeing you, it just hit me all over again.
Nicole: What do you mean w-why? Why--why does there have to be a why?
Daniel: Okay, you know what, Nicole, I don't really understand--
Nicole: Oh, my God, oh, my God, I am pouring my heart out to you and you think that I'm lying. What is wrong with you?
Chloe: What am I doing here? What are you do-- oh, Jennifer, n--did you think-- no, no, no, no, no. No, you have nothing to worry about. Daniel's not even here.
Jennifer: And you're wearing his shirt.
Chloe: Yeah, I know.
Jennifer: So if Daniel's not here, why are you playing house in his apartment?
Kate: I'm about to lose my grandson and all you can do is rub salt in my wounds?
Billie: First of all, he's not your grandson and you're not losing him.
Kate: I might as well be.
Billie: You know, Mom, you wouldn't be satisfied with anything short of Chloe's destruction.
Billie: You know what? I tried to tell you.
Kate: Wh--no, you didn't.
Billie: Okay, well, maybe not in so many words, but that's because you don't listen.
Kate: You're damned right.
Billie: Yeah, you know what, you're so proud of being so stubborn.
Kate: Billie, it's called determination.
Billie: You know what, you're absolutely unwilling to change your ways.
Kate: How do you think I got where I am?
Billie: Where are you?
Kate: Why are you saying such hurtful things to me?
Billie: Because it's time for you to listen to me. Things are about to change around here.
Chloe: "Playing house"? Jennifer, I'm wearing Daniel's shirt because I'm sure you don't want me to answer the door naked.
Jennifer: Mm. Good call.
Chloe: Now you're probably wondering why I was naked.
Jennifer: Yeah, the thought crossed my mind, Chloe.
Chloe: Um, Parker, Mommy's right here. Well, see the thing is when Daniel left, Parker was still sleeping and he told me that I could stay. So I started picking up Parker's things. They were all over the place. Well, you know how little boys can be. Well, and big boys too. Anyway, Parker is so independent that now he insists on feeding himself. He made a huge mess with his mac and cheese. It went everywhere. All over him, myself, my hair, my blouse--my favorite blouse. And I'm not sure that I can get these stains out.
Jennifer: I wouldn't know how to help you, Chloe.
Chloe: Well, I guess it's not that important. Anyway, I figured Daniel wouldn't care if I took a quick shower. I mean, I do remember where we kept the towels.
Jennifer: I'm sure you do.
Chloe: And I wasn't exactly expecting you to come knocking because Daniel said he was meeting you for lunch. So to get back to my earlier question, what are you doing here?
Daniel: Could you spare me the phony indignation and tell me what's going on?
Nicole: I told you.
Daniel: No, I know what you told me. I also know from vast experience you're about six lies from the truth. So why don't you spare us both the trouble and just tell me--
Victor: Good God. Both you and Chloe darkening my doorstep on the same day?
Nicole: Lucky you.
Victor: What the hell are you doing here, Nicole?
Daniel: Victor, actually we're in the middle of something right now.
Nicole: No. Actually, I was in the middle of trying to make an apology to Brady.
Daniel: Really? For what?
Victor: Well, a sincere one would take all day. Thank God none of us have to worry about that.
Nicole: You know, I-I can see that I'm not wanted here.
Victor: Oh, you can, can you?
Nicole: Maybe I should leave.
Brady: I'll walk you out.
Nicole: No, really, that's not necessary. I'm very familiar with the exit. Thanks. Yes. Okay. Oh, I hope you're ready, Kristen, because you are no match for me.
Kristen: If you think that I had something to do with John leaving town, then you really are a pretty lousy detective, aren't you?
Roman: And what is that supposed to mean?
Kristen: I'll give you a clue. John left alone.
Roman: Tell me what happened.
Kristen: Marlena. She doesn't really seem like herself lately, does she?
Roman: I wonder why.
Kristen: Yeah. And it's more than her just being on edge. I mean, I'm not a psychiatrist, but it kinda feels like she and I have switched places, doesn't it? I mean, I was the one that used to be sad and troubled and desperate and--
Roman: You would use anybody to get what you wanted. On the other hand, Marlena, she would never--
Kristen: Never what? Gosh, Roman. I've tried so hard to make you understand how sorry I am for saving your life, nursing you back to health, bringing you back to Salem. I mean, that was so reprehensible of me, wasn't it?
Roman: Well, you certainly did not do that out of the goodness of your non-existent heart.
Kristen: Whatever. Whatever my motives, you're here and it's worked out pretty well for you, hasn't it? Now come to think of it, Salem's been real good to me too this time around.
Roman: Well, we'll, uh, we'll see about that.
Kristen: Yeah, we sure will.
Kristen: Okay. Bye-bye.
Kristen: Hey, wait, Roman. You know, I came back to Salem this time just to kind of make amends and then... Brady Black just blew in out of nowhere. Made all of my dreams come true.
Victor: Why the hell do I pay Henderson anyway? Stumbling over people I despise in my own living room should not be a daily occurrence.
Brady: Maybe if you didn't despise half the town, it wouldn't be such a problem.
Victor: Well, maybe if I didn't have to take in such unsavory boarders, I'd have a rosier disposition.
Brady: That's doubtful.
Brady: You know, at least Chloe comes with a, uh, cute kid in tow.
Victor: True. Alas, Nicole does not. What the hell was she doing here today anyway?
Brady: Well, I don't know if we'll ever know at this point since you sent her on her merry way. Excuse me, I have to call Taiwan.
Daniel: Would you believe that I have to call Taiwan too?
Victor: Daniel. Listen, I'm very happy to have Parker here. As to that other unwelcomed guest...
Daniel: Look, I'm a step ahead of you, Victor. I'm already looking for a place for Chloe to stay.
Victor: Why can't she look herself? She's a big girl now.
Daniel: 'Cause she has a little kid--my kid--and I'm gonna help her get settled.
Daniel: I thought you'd be pleased to be rid of her.
Victor: I am. Daniel, I hope you know I would rather have that brazen hussy darken my doorstep forever than have her darken yours.
Jennifer: I'm here because I texted Daniel and I asked him to meet me here.
Chloe: Oh. Oh, you asked him to meet you here. That's why when you showed up, you saw me like this, you thought--okay, I totally understand. But what I don't understand is if you asked him to meet you here, where is he?
Jennifer: I don't know. That's a good question.
Chloe: Hmm. Oh. Oh, my gosh. He--he left his phone here. No wonder.
Jennifer: Oh, my gosh, that means... that means he didn't get my text, so now he's probably wondering where I am. Which means I need to--
Chloe: Well, hey, Jenn, before you run off, I was just wondering if you had a minute to finish our conversation from earlier.
Jennifer: We already finished our conversation unless you wanna just hurl another false accusation at me.
Chloe: Oh, wow. Okay. Well, uh, I think we both know that--how bad and dangerous it can be to just jump to the wrong conclusion. And if I did that to you...
Chloe: I am sorry. But I'm sensing some hostility from you still.
Chloe: Yeah. Come on. I don't--I don't think we should be enemies. Okay? We can't. There's a child involved here.
Jennifer: Yeah, there is.
Chloe: And I think we both want what's best for him, right?
Jennifer: Yes, we do, Chloe. And now that's why I'm gonna leave.
Chloe: Who says blondes have more fun? [Giggling]
[Knock at door]
Kristen: Eh, gross. Twice in one day, huh? Two times too many.
Nicole: Okay, all right. Hang on a second. I'm here to do God's work. All right, I have a letter here from Eric that he needs you to sign about you leaving the board at the school.
Kristen: Mm-hmm and you didn't suggest to Eric that maybe he send somebody else? Really?
Nicole: No. Actually I volunteered to come.
Kristen: Okay, so should I call security?
Nicole: N-no, no. Please don't--don't call security. I-I just feel like we have some unfinished business.
Kristen: Did you come back here to attack me physically again? Because if so, I will kick the crap out of you.
Nicole: No, no, I'm not-- I'm not here to attack you. Look, I had a talk with Brady and I just--I need--I want to apologize for what happened earlier.
Kristen: You do?
Nicole: Yes, I do. And, look, if Brady seems happy with you which I--he said he is, then who am I to stand in the way?
Kristen: Well, you actually couldn't, even if you tried.
Nicole: I realize that. And I also realize that I just need to let nature take its course.
Kristen: Well, I don't actually need your permission to continue seeing Brady, but it's so nice of you to give it.
Nicole: You're right. You don't need anything from me. But the truth is you don't wanna be my enemy and vice versa from what I hear.
Kristen: Yeah. You heard right.
Kristen: So give me the papers. Do you have a pen?
Kristen: Of course you don't have a pen.
Kristen: [Angry sigh] Hello? What? Are you kidding me? No, don't call a tow service. Call your attorney. I'll be there in ten minutes. Idiot.
Nicole: Car trouble?
Kristen: Yeah, it's gonna be a soon-to-be-ex-valet who wishes he worked in a sweatshop in Thailand.
Nicole: Oh, I'm glad I parked on the street.
Kristen: Yeah, so I gotta go. Excuse me.
Nicole: But you didn't sign these.
Kristen: I haven't really read it completely.
Nicole: Okay, if you can't trust a priest, who can you trust?
Kristen: [Sighs] Here. Now will you please go?
Nicole: Uh, yeah. I'm going, I'm going.
Kristen: Go, go.
Nicole: Okay, I'm going. Thank you very much.
Kate: Well, never let it be said that I don't care what my children think.
Billie: But you just think you know better.
Kate: Okay, sweetheart. What kind of change are you talking about?
Billie: Mom, when you call me "Sweetheart", you treat me like I'm six.
Kate: Okay, well, I'm sorry, but I would have given anything to actually be a mother to you when you were six.
Billie: You know what, it's too late to play the guilt card, Mom.
Kate: What do you mean "too late"?
Billie: I've made some calls and I--and I've lined some things up.
Kate: I don't know what you're talking about, Billie.
Billie: Of course, you don't know what I'm talking about. You're too busy getting revenge on Chloe to ever notice.
Kate: Notice what?
Billie: I'm looking for a new job. I don't think we should work together anymore.
Chloe: I have an idea. Do you wanna go play with Grandma Maggie? Yeah, I thought so. Let's go do that. I won't be gone long. See, the thing is, Daddy and Jennifer don't know that I know where they're having lunch and if I just happen by, I'm gonna make sure that everything goes right just for the both of us. Right? Yeah. [Groans] Oh. You know I'm doing all this for you, right? Sweet little boy.
Daniel: Okay, I hear you, Victor, I hear you.
Victor: I'm sure you hear me. I'm sure you heard me that--that time when I warned you against Chloe in the first place. And Nicole.
Daniel: Okay, if you wanna review my litany of disastrous relationships, we could be here all night.
Victor: I'm sure we could.
Brady: Granddad, I have Mr. Hwang on the line. He says there's some questions that only you can answer.
Victor: I'll take it in the study. Don't disappear, Brady, before we get a chance to talk.
Brady: Right. Sorry.
Daniel: I'm sure you are.
Brady: I'm about to, uh, take my turn catching hell for Kristen again. Dad, Marlena, Nicole, maybe Maggie will even stop by and pile it on a little bit more.
Brady: Yeah, she called it-- what did she call it? "Self-destructive addict behavior." And even if you agree with her, Daniel, I appreciate you keeping your opinions to yourself.
Daniel: Hey, like I said, I don't even know Kristen. So really it's none of my business.
Brady: Still, I'm--I'm sorry that we kinda dragged Jenn into keeping our secret.
Daniel: No, don't worry about it. I understand. You know. She and Jenn were, uh, were close friends at one time.
Brady: Not so much anymore.
Daniel: Still, you know, maybe we could grab dinner sometime, the four of us.
Brady: You know... I would love that. That would be great.
Daniel: All right. I'll, uh, I'll tell Jenn. She'll be happy.
Brady: All right. Have fun, man.
Daniel: Yeah. You too, huh? Oh, uh, by the way, um, why was Nicole here anyway?
Brady: Because she and Kristen got into it.
Daniel: Oh, boy.
Brady: Yeah, I think--I think Nicole realized that she was fighting a losing battle.
Brady: But she did--she did put her claws back in.
Daniel: Oh, yeah?
Brady: She came over here to apologize.
Daniel: Disaster averted?
Brady: For now. I hope so 'cause if Kristen and Nicole went to war... look out, Salem.
Nicole: [Exhales] I'm sorry about your job, Mr. Valet. I hope it was worth your while, because you have made my day.
Victor: Well, good.
Brady: I assume you don't wanna talk about shipping invoices.
Victor: At the moment, no.
Brady: Listen, Nicole is not gonna be showing up here on a regular basis, I promise.
Victor: Good. And I just want you to know that if you feel the need to entertain some so-called "lady" under this roof, any murderous vixen would be preferable to--
Brady: To Kristen?
Victor: How did you know what I was gonna say?
Brady: Granddad, because. Because we--we've had this conversation before. All right, I'm so sick of every other--
Victor: And you had it with every person who loves you, and they're all wrong, and you're the only one who's right. And why is that? Because we all know you're such a--an impeccable judge of character.
Brady: Do you remember what the entire Horton family said when Maggie fell for you? But--but she saw something in you that no one else did. Lucky for you that she didn't listen to her family then, huh?
Victor: Oh, don't you dare compare me to--
Brady: Wh--why the hell not? It makes sense.
Victor: Because we all know why you're interested in Kristen and it's for one reason only.
Brady: What would that be? I know what you're gonna say, right? Sex, right? Well, it's not about the sex, Granddad, okay? It's not. It's about who she is. It's about the person that she is. Look, I-I just got out of rehab, so I happen to believe that you can turn your life around if you try hard enough and if you want it. You know, Kristen hasn't even been--she hasn't been back here in ten years.
Victor: And she's a totally new person.
Brady: Yes, she is. She has changed. And what we have is real.
Victor: Oh, where have I heard that before? You know, Brady, there's a very fine line between trust and na´vetÚ. And if you haven't learned that difference yet, I'm sure Kristen would be more than happy to teach you.
Brady: We're done here. Good-bye.
Jennifer: Hey. I'm sorry.
Jennifer: I am--
Daniel: Wow, you look great.
Jennifer: I am so late.
Jennifer: Thank you. Um--
Daniel: Yeah, I got a little hung up too. Don't worry about it.
Jennifer: You did?
Daniel: Yeah, yeah.
Jennifer: Okay. Great.
Daniel: Are you--are you okay?
Jennifer: Yeah. Yeah, why wouldn't I be okay?
Daniel: Uh, you're just not your normal perky self?
Jennifer: Perky, hmm.
Daniel: You are. I say that with great affection.
Jennifer: You know what, I am not feeling perky right now.
Daniel: Wow, that's a great dress.
Jennifer: Thank you.
Daniel: You're welcome. What--whoa, sit. What is going on here?
Jennifer: I'm just--I'm hungry, I'm really hungry. That's all.
Daniel: Okay, well, you know what, this might lift your spirits because you're not gonna believe the email that I got from Anne Milbauer earlier. Now, I mean, it wasn't about you, but she is I think the only woman I know that actually hates on Valentine's Day decorations. Wait till you read this email 'cause sh-- ah, actually I left my...
Jennifer: Oh, your phone.
Daniel: My phone at home.
Jennifer: Yes, um, I have it. Here it is.
Daniel: You what? How do you--
Jennifer: Your phone.
Daniel: What were you--what were you doing at my place? I mean, how com--how did you even get this?
Jennifer: Well, I, um, I went to your place because I wanted to surprise you and I--
Daniel: Surprise me? What--
Jennifer: You know what, it doesn't matter. It's not important.
Chloe: Oh, hey guys.
Chloe: Hey, uh, d--don't worry, I'm not staying. I just ordered some takeout. I'm here to pick it up, but I didn't expect to see you again so soon, but I'm actually glad I ran into because I just wanted to apologize again for what happened earlier. I know it was really awkward.
Daniel: Like w-wait a minute. What do you mean, um, you ran into her again?
Chloe: Oh, Jennifer didn't tell you?
Chloe: It was just all a misunderstanding, Daniel.
Daniel: What was?
Chloe: Uh, well, after Parker had lunch, your dining table pretty much looked like a warzone and I had to wash macaroni and cheese out of my hair, and out of my blouse, and--ugh. You know it was--it was a mess. You've--you've been there at meal time--you get the picture.
Daniel: Uh, yeah, I do.
Chloe: So when Jennifer showed up I was kinda surprised to see her because I knew that she was meeting you and I think she was kinda surprised to see me wearing one of your shirts.
Daniel: One of my shirts?
Chloe: Well, it was better than answering the door wearing a towel, right? I mean, how would that have looked? Um... oh, think that's my food. You guys get back to your date. Enjoy. Sorry.
Daniel: Uh, I'm a little--I'm a little confused here, Jenn.
Jennifer: About what, Daniel?
Daniel: Well, I mean, why--why did you tiptoe around what happened instead of just coming out and just telling me the truth?
Nicole: Well, corporate espionage may not be what you're really guilty of. But it's karma, baby. And if you're lucky, maybe Brady will find some other naughty little secret in your personal file once he gets his anonymous tip. [Chuckles]
[Door handle jiggles]
Nicole: Oh, my God, she can't be back already.
Kate: So you're quitting. Why?
Billie: Were you not listening to me? Oh, of course not. What a silly question.
Kate: I was listening to you. But it's not like I've asked you to do anything underhanded, Billie.
Billie: Mom, I've had to stand by and pretend to support you while you plot and scheme, and I can't do it anymore. I love you to death. I just need some distance.
Kate: I'll stop.
Billie: No, you won't. You won't stop. You'll never stop. And I thought it would change after you got away from Stefano, I did.
Kate: Honey, my marriage crumbled, Austin went off to another continent with my grandbaby to be, and now I've lost Parker, so--
Billie: Mom, I don't wanna be cruel. I don't mean to hurt you. You have to take a look at why the people you love always leave you.
Billie: I don't wanna hurt you. I just--I need to take care of myself here. I need to--I need a fresh start. You know... when Curtis got me addicted to heroin as a kid, I-I just--I-I traded it in for another addiction. Getting Bo Brady to love me and--
Kate: And I was there for you every step of the way, sweetie.
Billie: You were. You were. You were. You helped me so much. But you just taught me how to be a fighter. And what I really needed to do, Mom, was just learn how to let go. And I've learned my lesson. I have. And I just--I can't go back. I just need some distance. I can't do it anymore. I-I found out that, you know, if you--if you cling to somebody so hard, you just lose them. And I don't wanna do that anymore. I have to go. I-I don't want you to drag me down. I can't do it.
Kate: Is that what I do?
Billie: I have to go. I'm expecting a call.
Kate: Billie, we are not finished here.
Billie: Yes, we are.
Kate: Baby, I'm gonna try harder, will you?
Billie: I've always tried as hard as I can.
Daniel: Okay, um, so--so what were you saying earlier?
Jennifer: Nothing. I wasn't--I wasn't trying to hide anything from you. I just really didn't see the point in getting into that.
Daniel: Look, if Chloe upset you in any--
Jennifer: Oh, no, Daniel. You know what, I have known her for such a long time. Really, it's no big deal.
Daniel: Okay, okay, if you--you say so. So, um, what were you doing at my house anyway, hmm?
Jennifer: Well, I think you should check your phone.
Daniel: Okay. Oh. Oh. Oh, this is why you look--
Jennifer: Why I'm overdressed for the pub. Yes.
Daniel: I'm sorry. I-I didn't realize.
Jennifer: No, it's okay. I mean, obviously you wouldn't know.
Daniel: Yeah, so instead of surprising me you got a little surprise of your own and I'm so sorry.
Daniel: I am, I'm sorry I left my phone there and I'm sorry that you thought for even a minute--
Jennifer: Oh, no, I didn't. I didn't. Look, the important thing is that we are here. We're here alone.
Jennifer: At last.
Daniel: I don't know if this is what you had in mind by being alone, but...
Daniel: You know, what I think this date needs is a do-over. It does. So why don't I--I'm gonna make you dinner. That's what I'm gonna do. Mm. Okay. Maybe not...
Jennifer: But it's okay. You don't have to, really.
Daniel: I just--I wanna make this up to you, I do. I really do. And please, no--I--no. I'm not gonna take "No" for an answer.
Jennifer: Okay, fine. Actually, I do know what you can do.
Kristen: Oh, Brady!
Brady: Y-you told--hey, you told me I could let myself in.
Kristen: Yeah, I'm just surprised I didn't see you downstairs, that's all.
Brady: Wow, are you all right?
Kristen: You didn't hear me screaming at the valet? I probably would have been screaming a lot louder if, in fact, the valet had smashed into my car like he said he had, but he just--
Brady: Oh, it's just--
Kristen: Oh. My mood just improved a whole lot.
Kristen: You're so sweet.
Brady: You know what? I'm gonna improve your mood a lot more.
Anne: What--I'm sorry. What am I saying? [Chuckles] I'm saying you're fired. Do not pass go, do not collect unemployment, and don't ever show your face in this hospital again. Well--well, then I suggest you don't get sick. Oh. Hello. I'm sorry you had to hear that.
Chloe: Well, if you have to fire someone, you might as well do it with feeling.
Anne: You know, I used to hate having to let someone go and now every time I do it, I just imagine it's Jennifer's head on that chopping block and suddenly it's not so bad at all.
Chloe: I bet.
Anne: Of course, my fantasy is never going to come true as long as Daniel is protecting her lazy, vapid--
Chloe: Not to interrupt the litany of faults because I love hearing it, but you might get your wish.
Anne: Oh, why do you say that?
Chloe: Oh, Daniel's gonna get bored with her. I mean, who wouldn't?
Anne: Well, true.
Chloe: And then Mrs. Horton will be someone else's problem. Not yours or mine.
Anne: Well, you sound pretty sure of yourself.
Chloe: Oh, I am.
Anne: Well, do tell.
Chloe: Let's just say I gave her an image that she won't be able to get out of her head for a very long time.
Daniel: All right, so what were you thinking about, Jennifer?
Jennifer: Well, when I sent you that text message I thought that maybe I could just come to your house and we could just be alone, really. Alone.
Jennifer: Because I just feel like where we're at right now, it just felt like the right time.
Daniel: So in other words, I screwed up royally today?
Jennifer: No, because the day's not over.
Daniel: That's a good point.
Jennifer: And I was just thinking with everything that happened earlier, it might just be really nice to...
Jennifer: Could we just go away together, please? I mean, I know you're just starting to get to know Parker again. I don't wanna stand in the way of that, I really don't. But, you know, toddlers sleep, like 12, 13 hours a night and--
Daniel: Yeah, easy. Yeah.
Jennifer: Yeah, so, I mean, maybe we could just manage one night. Just the two of us.
Daniel: Jenn, are you sure you're ready for this?
Jennifer: Yeah. I'm so sure. I really want this night to be special for both of us.
Daniel: It will be.
Jennifer: Okay, so maybe we can leave tonight.
Daniel: That works for me.
Kristen: Don't move a muscle.
Brady: Where are you going?
Kristen: I'll be right back.
Brady: Hurry up.
