Suzanne: Hi, I'm Suzanne Rogers. I play Maggie Horton Kiriakis on days of our lives. And today, we celebrate our 12,000th show. Thank you.
Sami: Rafe, Rafe.
Rafe: Oh, what? Do you want me to go? Just ask me.
Sami: I--what? I thought we were going to wait until after the wedding.
Rafe: Oh, yeah? Did you? This isn't what you want? Hmm?
Sami: Okay, this-- [Laughs]
Sonny: Hey, what's up? Abigail was looking for you earlier.
Chad: Oh, she already found me. I gotta find a clean suit, so--
Sonny: For what?
Chad: Uh, Gabi's wedding?
Sonny: You're going to Gabi's wedding? Nick Fallon's wedding?
Chad: Yes, sir.
Sonny: What's up with that?
Abigail: Hey, there you are. I missed you this morning. Assuming, that is, you came home last night.
Jennifer: I-I did. I just went for an early walk.
Abigail: Well, good, I'm glad I caught you before you went to church. So what happened?
Abigail: When? Hello, last night at Daniel's.
Jennifer: It was a big night.
Abigail: Yeah? Why don't you look happy?
Jennifer: Um, it just wasn't anything that either of us expected. Daniel found out that Parker really is his son.
Lucas: What are you-- what are you doing here? When did you get back?
Kate: At dawn.
Lucas: What, you took the red eye? Why? I thought you were going to be gone for weeks. What happened?
Kate: Because it's an emergency, Lucas.
Lucas: Why, Mom? What's wrong now?
Kate: The bitch is back.
Chloe (to Daniel): Wow. Seems like old times.
Gabi: Promise me that you'll think about it, because I really have a lot, and I want you to be a part of bringing up our child.
Will: Okay, how?
Gabi: I was thinking that maybe you could be the Godfather.
Nick: No. No way in hell.
Will: Why not?
Gabi: Nick, I'm sorry. I should have told you first.
Nick: Yeah. You should have.
Will: So you could talk her out of it? What-- I'm sorry, what is your problem? You don't want me anywhere near my own child?
Gabi: Guys, please, stop.
Nick: Look, let's just not get into it right now.
Will: No, I've-- I've had it with you. I don't care if it's your wedding day. I'm sorry, but this is not how it's going to go on.
[Knock on door]
Sami: Okay. What?
Rafe: Ignore that.
Sami: We can't. Rafe.
[Knocking on door]
Sami: No, we can't. Not today. I have to--
Sami: I have to go get the door. I'm coming!
Rafe: Are you serious?
Sami: Yes, I'm serious. I have to-- get your clothes on. No. Would you just-- let go, let go. Let go. I have to answer the door. Coming, coming! Who is it?
Hope: Holy moly, are you running late. Look, I brought the necklace you asked for from--
Hope: Hey, Rafe.
Rafe: How's it going?
Hope: Going very well. How are you? It's good to see you.
Rafe: Yeah, good, good.
Hope: Yeah. So--
Rafe: Yeah, we'll, uh-- I got stuff to do, so--
Sami: Good idea.
Rafe: Yeah. Maybe you can take Sami to the wedding?
Hope: I would love to take Sami to the wedding.
Sami: See you later, again.
Sami: Bye. 'Kay.
Hope: See you at the church.
Sami: Um, oh, my gosh. I'm really late.
Hope: Yeah. Looks like you two really lost track of time.
Daniel: Uh, old times?
Chloe: Yeah, you know, when you talked me into volunteering for Maggie.
Daniel: Yeah, that was a long time ago, wasn't it? So, uh, what brings you by today?
Chloe: Well, since we're staying in Salem, I'm going to need a pediatrician for Parker. Somebody who can have his records, 'cause I don't want to wait until he gets sick or, God forbid, some kind of emergency happens.
Daniel: No, that's smart. That's smart. Do you--do you want some recommendations?
Chloe: Please. And this is a decision we should be making together anyway. But I fully trust you in the doctor department, so whoever you like is fine by me.
Daniel: Okay, all right. We'll check out, um, Deborah McCoy. If she doesn't feel right, go see, um, go see Steve Leonard, yeah.
Chloe: Okay. Thanks.
Chloe: Well, um, are you off shift? 'Cause maybe we could grab a cup of coffee, we can make comparisons on the doctors--
Daniel: You know, I'm going to spend my break with Parker, but first, I'm going to stop by, um-- stop by Jennifer's.
Chloe: I understand.
Daniel: Do you?
Gabi: Okay, guys, please, can we--can we not? Not today.
Nick: Gabi's right, let's just take a step back here.
Will: You don't think I'm capable of being a Godfather to my own child?
Nick: That's right. You're not.
Will: You don't think gays are capable of raising children.
Nick: I didn't say that.
Will: But you think it.
Nick: If you were the baby's Godfather, you would be around the baby constantly. And you'd never be able to tell him or her who you are. You don't think the kid's going to feel that tension?
Gabi: Oh, my God.
Nick: Oh, what if it did come out? I mean, if you're around the kid constantly, the odds go up significantly, don't they?
Will: I don't know.
Nick: But what if? What if some time, you know, maybe--maybe years from now, this child finds out that we've been lying to it its entire life? Where do we go from there?
Gabi: Look, it's really close to what you went through with Lucas and Austin.
Will: Yeah. Obviously I wouldn't wish that on any child, and I definitely wouldn't wish that on my own, so that can't happen.
Nick: That's right. That can't happen. And that's what I'm thinking about. And--and believe it or not, Will, I'm actually worried about you too, here. I'm serious. I mean, don't you think it would be torture for you to be around this baby all the time and never be able to tell him the truth?
Hope: Chain's a little bit delicate.
Sami: Thank you.
Hope: So be careful if you're going to rip your clothes off again.
Sami: Thanks, Aunt Hope. Geez. Oh.
Hope: Seriously? You're not going to tell me?
Hope: What? You and Rafe.
Sami: Oh, um--
Sami: No, there's--there's nothing to tell, and--
Hope: Look at me.
Sami: Okay. Okay, we are trying again. But--but it's just brand-new. I mean, it just, just happened.
Hope: Oh, my God, there is a God. I--you made my day. Oh, my God, this is so good. This is great. This is so great.
Sami: I am very glad that you are happy, but you can't say anything to anyone.
Hope: No, no, no, no. Mum's the word. Not a word. Not--not a problem.
Sami: You can't grin at me like that, either.
Hope: I'm sorry, I-- don't you want to? Seriously?
Sami: Yes, yes, yes, I do.
Hope: Oh, honey, you and Rafe are meant to be.
Sami: You think so? Like--like you and Uncle Bo?
Hope: Yeah. Yeah, like me and Uncle Bo. You can run, you can hide, but your true heart? It always wins in the end. Come here.
Sami: I love you so much.
Hope: Aw, I love you, too, sweetie.
Sonny: Why would you ever agree to go to Gabi's wedding? After everything you say she did.
Chad: She did.
Sonny: Then what the--what? I don't understand.
Chad: Look, Sonny, time heals. I'm tired of being mad all the time.
Sonny: So, what, you're moving on from Melanie?
Chad: Yeah. And for the first time, I'm actually-- I'm actually happy to.
Chad: She invited me to be her date at the wedding. We can hang out. It's cool, it's good.
Sonny: I repeat, at Gabi and Nick's wedding?
Chad: Yeah, I see where that's, uh-- there's a bit of irony in that. But I'm happy for them. Come on.
Sonny: This is disorienting.
Chad: It's the biggest day of their lives, all right? The happiest day of their lives, and if we can't be happy for them, then, you know, we never will, so...
Jennifer: So Chloe, Philip, and Parker all had their DNA tested, and that confirmed it.
Abigail: So Daniel was Parker's father all along? That whole mess, that whole drama--
Jennifer: Was completely unnecessary, yeah.
[Phone buzzing] What?
Abigail: That was your phone.
Jennifer: What, I didn't hear anything.
Abigail: Check it, you have a message. Go.
Jennifer: You are so funny. You have the ears of a lynx. I didn't hear anything.
Abigail: A message?
Jennifer: Yes, I-I have a text from Daniel.
Jennifer: He said he wants to come over here before I go to the wedding.
Abigail: This is good. This is good, Mom. Chloe really hurt Daniel.
Jennifer: So did I, honey.
Abigail: Yeah, but not-- not like "sleeping with someone else and lying about it" kind of hurt. I'm just saying, Mom. Daniel's not going to want Chloe back.
Jennifer: Honey, we'll see.
Abigail: His son, yes, but-- but don't assume that--
Jennifer: I don't. I-I-I really don't.
Jennifer: Daniel and I are gonna be fine.
Abigail: Good. Well, I-I gotta go, but, um--
Jennifer: Yeah, you go. I'll see you at the church.
Lucas: So Chloe came back to Salem with Parker for...
Kate: She says for good.
Lucas: Yes. Yes.
Kate: Why are you so happy?
Lucas: Because it's just perfect. It--it really is.
Kate: Lucas, I swear to God, if you have designs on that woman--
Lucas: Oh, please, Mother. Come on, I'm fine.
Kate: Uh, honey-- sweetie...
Kate: Tell your brother to stay away from Chloe Lane.
Billie: Stay away from Chloe Lane.
Lucas: Fine, I will. I don't want anything to do with her. I wouldn't go near her with a chair and a whip.
Kate: Okay, so why are you so happy?
Lucas: Because Chloe's going to sink her teeth into Daniel, and he will stay far away from Jennifer.
Billie: Oh, really? Come on.
Lucas: What? It's collateral. It's fair.
Kate: So you're not thinking at all about the fact that Parker is no longer my grandson or your nephew?
Billie: Jennifer, I think, would be a really good influence on Parker, myself.
Kate: Oh, my God.
Billie: Just saying.
Kate: Bite your tongue. Bite your tongue.
Billie: Well, I'm sorry, but we really should be thinking what's best for Parker here, don't you think, Mama?
Kate: Yeah. That's exactly what I'm thinking.
Daniel: Look, I just want you to understand what's going on with me and Jen.
Chloe: You two were going on a date when I first showed up, right?
Daniel: Yeah, but it's not that casual. We're--we're together. And, you know, this is not going to interfere with my time with Parker, and Parker being back here isn't going to change where I'm at with Jen.
Chloe: Of course it isn't. What, did you think I expected--
Daniel: No, no, I just, you know, just want to be clear.
Chloe: I have no illusions. We were over a long time ago, and we've both moved on. I'm just here so you can connect with your son.
Daniel: I appreciate that. Thank you. And thank you for understanding.
Chloe: We're good, Daniel.
Daniel: Good. Good. Well, I gotta run.
Will: Okay. I-I don't have to be around the baby all the time. But if I were at least the Godfather, you know, I could know--
Nick: Know what?
Will: I mean, I could make sure that--
Nick: What, you don't think that I'm going to be able to take care of this baby?
Will: I didn't say that.
Nick: But--but you were thinking it, right? You see what I'm saying?
Gabi: Look. Will, you know, I'll bet this baby's going to have a great life.
Will: I know. I don't doubt that at all. I'm just saying that I should be a part of making sure that happens.
Nick: You have, Will. You've already done the bravest, boldest thing you could possibly do in this situation. I mean, I think you need to stop punishing yourself, honestly.
Gabi: I'm sorry. You know what, I-I really was not thinking. I was being really selfish.
Will: N-no, no.
Gabi: I'm sorry.
Will: Hey, no, you weren't.
Gabi: I'm sorry to both of you.
Nick: It's okay. You meant well, baby. Will-- I mean, do you understand?
Nick: And look, it's-- it's not like you're never going to see the kid or know what's going on. I mean, you know the way the Hortons are about kids. As it is, you're probably going to know way more about this baby than you ever wanted to. Honestly.
Will: I seriously doubt that. Well, okay. I'm going to get to the church, so then I'll--
Gabi: Thank you.
Will: Yeah. Okay.
Gabi: I'm really sorry.
Nick: Oh, it's-- it's all right. It's just, next time, you know, we should probably talk about stuff like that before you make any moves.
Gabi: Yeah, okay.
Nick: I love you.
Gabi: I love you, too.
Anne: Well, there's a surprise. H.R.H. Jennifer Horton takes another day off.
Anne: Her Royal Horton-ness. Lazy diva gets away with murder.
Jennifer: Hey, come on in. I-I meant to text you, um, before you came all the way over here, but I'm sorry. I-I really need to run. I do.
Daniel: Okay, you look beautiful, and you're not gonna be late. I just need a couple minutes. Jen, I love you.
Jennifer: I love you, but--
Daniel: "But"? No "buts". No, having Parker back doesn't change anything for us. You know that.
Jennifer: No, but it does.
Daniel: Right, no.
Jennifer: It does, and it's okay, because it should. And I understand you need to be with your son.
Daniel: Yes, I do, but I meant what I said last night, and I want you to be a part of that. Will you?
Abigail: Okay, is that what you were thinking?
Gabi: I-I'm not thinking. But does it look good?
Abigail: Yes, it looks beautiful.
Gabi: Oh, I'm so nervous.
Abigail: No, don't be nervous, Gabi. You look gorgeous. And remember, just repeat whatever the priest says, okay?
Sami: Reinforcements have arrived. I'm sorry I'm late. I have the veils.
Gabi: Uh, it's okay, but I think we should start squeezing into the dress now.
Abigail: Do you need a hand with that?
Sami: No, I've got it.
Abigail: Okay, I'm going to go check on Chad, but I'll be right back, all right?
Gabi: Thank you, Abigail.
Abigail: Of course. It's fun.
Sami: Okay, so, I actually thought about it. I came up with a plan for the hooks. If there's a problem, um, you need more room, I can use some wig tape, and, uh, so that way, I think that-- is everything okay? Is something wrong?
Sami: Oh, my God, I'm sorry. Whatever I did, I-I'm sorry.
Gabi: No, no, no, no. You've-- have been so great, and just so amazing, and I want to thank you so much for everything.
Sami: No, no, no. You don't have to thank me. Don't get on the hormone train. You will make it through the day.
Gabi: No, I just thought I-- you know, since Arianna died, I just never thought that I'd have a friend or a real sister again.
Sami: Well, you do. And you always will.
Gabi: Thank you.
Sami: I'm happy to be there for you. Just like Abigail said, it's fun. I'm so happy to do this for you, and I will always be a sister to you, if that's what you want.
Gabi: I do. I do.
Sami: Perfect answer.
Sami: You said it just right. You just keep practicing it. You're gonna be so beautiful. And I'm so glad to do this with you. I mean, I still think of us as family. And we'll always be connected with your baby.
Eric: Thank you for giving me an extra minute. It's my first wedding.
Nick: Mine too.
Eric: Yeah, well, unlike you, it won't be my last, so I have to learn quickly. So are you nervous?
Nick: No. I mean, not really.
Rafe: [Laughs] But you will be. Once you get out there, oh, yeah. Yeah, you're probably going to flub a line, but don't worry. No one's going to remember that. Certainly not you. Once you see your bride walking down the aisle, that's the only thing you're going to see. The only thing that matters.
Eric: Spoken like a man who's been there.
[Cell phone ringing]
Rafe: Oh, excuse me. I gotta take this.
Eric: And if you'll excuse me, I forgot my notes.
Nick: [Sighs] So...we're okay, right?
Sami: When I said I would be connected through the baby, of course I just meant, you know, because I was with you when you found out that you were pregnant, and through this whole thing, and, I don't know. Maybe you could consider me an honorary grandma. Or no. God, no. Oh, how about an aunt? Maybe A-- Auntie Sami. I'll be your baby's favorite aunt.
Gabi: Sounds good.
[Knock at door]
Sami: Ooh, hold on. I'll get rid of whoever it is. What?
Rafe: Hi. Wow. I need to talk to Gabi.
Sami: What? No, we don't have time.
Rafe: No, no, no. This can't wait. Gabi, Gabi.
Rafe: Someone wants to talk to you.
Gabi: Is it-- hola, Mama.
Will: Yeah, we're okay.
Nick: What you're doing is incredible, Will. Maybe--maybe I haven't said that enough to you. But you were a big enough man to step up and put Gabi and the baby first. A lot of people would have been way too selfish to see that that was the right thing.
Gabi: Si, si, si, Mama. [Speaking Spanish] Te amo. Gracias.
Rafe: Sounded good.
Gabi: Yeah, she-- she apologized for hanging up, and she's really excited about the baby.
Rafe: You see? What did I tell you? That's Mama. Told you. Oh.
Sami: Okay, okay, but she is a mess, and we have to get her ready for the ceremony. So come on, come on. You have to get out.
Rafe: What, like that wasn't important?
Sami: It was. It was very important. You did a very good thing. But get out.
Rafe: All right. I'm going.
Sami: Go, go.
Maggie: I really hate leaving Parker.
Victor: Oh, he'll be fine with Adrienne. The boy would never make it through a wedding, anyway. Hell, I barely do.
Maggie: Really? In church? Caroline, nice to see you.
Caroline: Well, it's good to be seen. Victor.
Victor: You're looking well.
Caroline: I am.
Maggie: Nick wouldn't be here today if it weren't for your help.
Caroline: Oh, just gave him a menial job.
Maggie: Caroline, you gave him a second chance. Um, excuse me. I need to say hello to someone.
Caroline: Well, I certainly owe somebody a second chance. I'm glad Daniel is getting that with Parker.
Victor: If only that bimbo, Chloe, had just dropped the boy off and ran.
Anne: So what was little Jen's excuse this time?
Nurse: Tom Horton's great-grandson's getting married, Nick.
Anne: Nick pill-popping felon--I mean, Fallon? How did that family get such a saintly reputation? I mean, really.
Nurse: Jen is kind of... ditto.
Anne: Saintly? Please. That's what she wants everyone to believe, but if you only knew.
Chloe: Anne? Anne Milbauer!
Anne: Chloe Lane! What are you doing here?
Chloe: I'm back in Salem. Do you want to go grab a real cup of coffee?
Anne: Yes, I would love to.
Chloe: We have so much catching up to do.
Anne: I know.
Chloe: Oh, my gosh.
Daniel: Okay, look, if you don't want to deal with a guy with a toddler at this point, I get it.
Jennifer: No, you--bite your tongue, because I love kids. And I love you. And I would never back away from you because you have a child. But this is really good one-on-one time with your son. He's at that age where he needs to bond with you.
Daniel: Yeah, yeah, I'm guessing it's like the terrible twos, and they say, "No," and, "Stay away."
Jennifer: That's what everybody says, but, you know what, they run a few feet away, and they instantly turn around to see if you're still there.
Jennifer: And that's really-- it's a lot of change for him right now, and he needs you to be a constant in his life.
Daniel: Yeah. When do I get to need you to be a constant?
Jennifer: I promise you, I will be there every time you look back.
Daniel: You know, I think I'm making you late.
Jennifer: No, I'm okay. I have a couple minutes.
Daniel: Oh, you got a couple minutes now all of a sudden?
Jennifer: Yeah, I'm good.
Daniel: You just found that?
Jennifer: I just--I want to say thank you.
Daniel: What, for complicating your life?
Daniel: Come on.
Jennifer: For not giving me a hard time about going to this wedding, because I know what Nick did to Melanie, and you have every right to give me a hard time.
Daniel: He's your family.
Jennifer: Yeah, Parker's your family.
Jennifer: So when are you gonna bring him over to your place?
Daniel: I-I don't even have anything for him. I haven't set my place up. I have nothing.
Jennifer: Oh, I can help you.
Daniel: I don't even know what I need.
Jennifer: We can go shopping. I can help you get all that stuff.
Daniel: You mean, like what, like a shopping date?
Jennifer: Yes. Yes. A shopping date. We could do that. It'd be fun.
Daniel: That is a bad idea.
Jennifer: No, it's a good idea.
Daniel: Is it a good idea?
Daniel: All right.
Jennifer: A shopping date.
Abigail: You found me.
Chad: Well, thanks for making it easy. It's not like I know my way around the church.
Abigail: Yeah, I figured. Thanks for coming.
Chad: I wouldn't miss it. Besides, I mean, you in that dress, I mean, you're too beautiful.
Abigail: Thank you, thank you.
Chad: I'm serious. Yeah.
Sonny: I just came from my place. You weren't kidding. You moved in fast.
Will: Yeah, is that okay?
Sonny: I think it's great. I love how you knew exactly where everything would fit.
Will: Yeah, lucky.
Sonny: I just can't wait to dance with you later.
Will: Me neither. But I got to find the priest right now, so...
Rafe: Is makeup repair complete?
Sami: Oh, yeah, she's all repaired. She's radiant and ready. Your sister is going to be the most beautiful bride--what happened?
Rafe: One of them anyway. So you still think Nick and Gabi are gonna make it?
Sami: I do.
Rafe: Yeah. Well... if they're half as happy as we're gonna be this time around.
Sami: Rafe. We're at a church. Someone else's wedding in, like, two minutes.
Rafe: Whoa, whoa, are you not done with your list yet?
Sami: Mine was longer than yours, and it had little dress hooks on it.
Sami: It's a nightmare.
Rafe: Hey, hey. I love you, Sami Brady.
Lucas: Well, you are the prettiest girl here, that's the truth.
Allie: Wait till you see Gabi. She has the best dress.
Lucas: Does she? Well, let's go find her.
Kate: Come on, sweetie.
Lucas: Check on Jennifer, and make sure she's okay. Okay.
Hope: Honestly, I'm telling you, Jen, I think you should take Daniel at his word. This is not going to affect either of you.
Billie: Hi, girls.
Hope: Hey. Oh, hey!
Billie: So good to see you.
Hope: Oh, it's so good to see you too. It's been a long time.
Billie: I know.
Jennifer: I guess word is out about Parker.
Billie: Philip had to tell my mom.
Jennifer: Yeah, of course. Yeah. But I'm good. I'm fine.
Billie: You're not worried about Chloe, right?
Hope: What are you doing?
Billie: It's not like you weren't thinking the same thing. No, it's an obvious concern.
Jennifer: Well, I mean, it was at first. It really was. But Daniel made it very clear that Chloe, she won't be an issue for us.
Hope: And she won't be.
Billie: That's right. Of course. I mean, Daniel's a smart guy. Even though he has a child with Chloe and--after all that stuff she did to him? Please, that ship sailed.
Daniel: Hey. I thought--I thought you were out.
Chloe: Hey, yeah, well, Maggie had a wedding she had to go to, and Adrienne would be fine, but I just didn't feel right about leaving Parker with a stranger so soon.
Daniel: Yeah, sure, no, I get it. What's he doing? Is he all right? Is he--
Chloe: Oh, you don't have to whisper. Trust me, he will not wake up until he's good and ready.
Daniel: Oh, okay. Okay. 'Cause I thought that, you know, sleeping like a baby just meant that they look cute, you know.
Chloe: Well, yeah, there is that, but really they go down like logs.
Daniel: You know, I'd be happy to stick around if you have stuff to do. You know.
Chloe: Really? Thanks. You know what, there is something that I do need to get handled right away. And I could use your help.
Caroline: I don't need that.
Hope: You always cry at weddings. We just pretend not to notice.
Maggie: Hi, how are you?
Maggie: Oh, I'm sorry Marie and Jessica can't be here to see Nick get married.
Jennifer: I know. Well, we'll make sure we take lots of pictures.
Jennifer: It's gonna be a beautiful wedding.
Eric: It's time, Nick. Your future wife and child are waiting for you.
Eric: You ready?
Nick: Let's do it.
Will: All right.
Abigail: Yeah. Do you like it?
Gabi: Yeah. Yeah, I love it.
[Knock at door]
Sami: Tear patrol. Checking in.
Gabi: Yeah, dry eyes and flawless makeup.
Abigail: She'll make it to the vows at least.
Sami: I'll take it.
Gabi: You guys, I'm so nervous.
Sami: Oh, oh, don't be. It's gonna be perfect. It's gonna be wonderful. And you just have to soak it in, remember every moment for the rest of your life. Okay.
[Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring plays]
Kate: Some day that might be you and Will.
Lucas: And I can be one of the bridesmaids.
[Wagner's Bridal Chorus]
Eric: Welcome. We're here to celebrate the union of these two souls in holy matrimony. Gabriella Josefina Hernandez and Nicholas Fallon making their pledge in the presence of their family and friends and God. Who gives this woman into marriage?
Rafe: Her brother. Thank you for giving my sister the wedding of her dreams.
Daniel: What is it? What do you need?
Chloe: Well, it's about Parker's name.
Daniel: All right, what about it?
Chloe: When we first moved to Chicago, Philip wanted to change it. He knew that Parker was a family name on your side, and Daniel was, well, you.
Daniel: Yeah, and he just wanted to wipe me out of the picture, huh?
Chloe: I don't know exactly what it was, but, yeah, I fought him on it, and eventually he backed off.
Daniel: Good for you.
Chloe: I guess that deep down in my soul I always felt like this child belonged to you. I always sensed that he was your son. Anyway, Parker Daniel was the name that he was born with, and I'd like to keep it that way. And I'd like it to be Parker Daniel Jonas.
Daniel: Thank you.
Eric: Marriage is more than a union of two people. It involves us all... as an embrace of life. We give thanks to God for the love that has brought these two together. But, as a community, we make a promise to you. We promise to give our friendship and love... our prayers and support to this young couple. So now I ask you all, friends and family of Gabriella and Nicholas, do you promise to give your pledge to them as they make this commitment here today?
All: We do.
Hope: "When a man finds a worthy wife, her value is beyond pearls. Her husband, entrusting his heart to her, has an unfailing prize."
Maggie: "For this reason, a man must leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife. So, for this reason, they are no longer two flesh but one. Therefore, what God has joined together, no man must separate."
Eric: As Nicholas and Gabriella prepare to take their vows, we ask if anybody objects to these two joining in marriage. Speak now or forever hold your peace. um, hello.
Parker: Where was this one got?
Daniel: Ooh, I got this when I was travelling around the world, yeah.
Daniel: Shiny, isn't it? Parker Daniel Jonas, I promise to love you, protect you, and I will never let you go again.
Chloe: Couldn't have said it better myself.
Eric: Nicholas, Gabriella, have you come here freely without reservation to give yourselves to each other in marriage?
