[Knock at door]
Daniel: [Chuckles] It is so good to seeŚ
Abigail: Peace and quiet. I'll be good. Have fun tonight, Mom. Take your time and do not bother hurrying home.
Abigail: Mom, I thought you were going to Daniel's.
Jennifer: Well, I was until my stupid car just died.
Daniel: What are you doing here?
Chloe: Not exactly the response I was looking for.
Daniel: Well, you just showed up. Why didn't you call?
Chloe: I know. I had to talk to you face-to-face. Can we please not do this in the hallway? Thanks. Wow. The place looks really beautiful. [Sighs]
Daniel: Are you all right? Are you in some kind of trouble?
Chloe: No, I'm fine. I know. It's hard to believe. I'm not in any sort of trouble. I've kind of forgotten what that feels like.
Daniel: Then what--what is it that you need to talk to me about?
Chloe: [Sighs] Daniel, do you remember what the last thing was you said to me before I left town? You said that our good-bye wasn't forever. And it wasn't. And I didn't know it back then, but my coming back now... was meant to be.
John: What did you know about them? Did you know my son was sleeping with Kristen?
Marlena: Maybe we should--
John: Maybe what? Maybe you knew that they were shacking up? Maybe you knew that she had gone after my son? Maybe what?
Marlena: I was going to say, "Maybe we should talk about this after you get home."
John: Why? We can clear this up right now. It only take three words-- "I didn't know." So you tell me that not until I told you that I saw them going at it on his desk, you had no idea what was going on. You tell me that, Doc.
Marlena: I knew.
Marlena: I knew what was going on.
Sami: Oh, my God. Oh, my God, you are such a disgusting bitch. And you... Brady, you're acting like an idiot. Your father has to beat you up to get you to see sense that it's dangerous to sleep with the enemy?
Brady: Sami, that's enough.
Sami: I'm glad you are here in the hospital, because I'm gonna have them disinfect your mouth and then throw you in the psych ward.
Brady: Sami, stop it.
Sami: Oh, get your hands off my brother.
Brady: Sami, shut up, all right?
Sami: I'm not gonna shut up. Are you using again? Did they give you something? Have you failed to realize that you are making out with Kristen DiMera?
Kristen: Okay, you know what? I'm gonna call security--
Brady: No, no, no, you don't have to. Do me a favor, actually. You need to wait outside because I need to talk to my sister alone so I can let her know that she's never gonna talk to you that way ever again.
Sami: [Chuckles] Um, actually, Brady, this is the right way to talk to manipulative sluts.
Kristen: Okay, you know what? I think you've been through enough. Why don't you and I go out in the hallway, and you can call me all the names you want, but just leave him out of this, okay?
Sami: Oh, your concern--it's really touching.
Brady: No, it's okay. Listen, I want you--just wait outside, all right?
Kristen: Are you sure?
Brady: I need to talk to her alone.
Kristen: Please don't let her upset you, though, okay, please? You know, I just--I really hate that I am doing this to your family. I hate all this. It's happening because of me, and I'm so sorry.
Sami: [Scoffs, sNickers]
Brady: Something funny?
Sami: Yes! Yes! I know you're upset. I know you're upset about what happened with Madison, and I am sorry about that, but honestly, you cannot tell me that you are this stupid!
Brady: She is part of my life now, Sami! If you and the rest of the family can't handle it, that is way too bad. I'm sorry.
Sami: Oh, no.
Sami: Oh, no, it is one thing if you are talking about having sex with her, but you cannot be talking about letting her be in your life!
Brady: You know what? I'm fine--I'm really fine if this is the last conversation that you and I ever have. I'm fine with that.
Sami: Well, I'm not... 'cause you are my brother, and I'm not letting her come between us, okay? She is using you. Your father caught on, and he got rid of that sociopath, and now she is getting back at him through you.
Kristen: Are you kidding me? Really? [Sighs] Hey, Rose, it's Kristen DiMera. I just chipped a nail. Can you squeeze me in, please? I know.
John: [Clears throat] I think my... [Chuckles] I think my head's gonna explode.
Marlena: It's been awful... really, really awful.
John: How awful, Doc? So awful that it didn't occur to you to tell me about it, tell his father about it?
Marlena: I wanted to, John.
John: You wanted to-- [Chuckles] God, I remember sitting there in front of those kids at the rectory, and I kept saying, "You know, you know, kids, you know, all I know is that one thing you can't do in a relationship is keep secrets." And you just sat there, Doc, like--
Marlena: Like what? Like I was dying inside? I was. I hated knowing what I knew. And I hated knowing how you would feel about it when you found out. And I couldn't even breathe the day you told me that you thought Brady had a new friend and maybe we should double date.
John: Ah, yeah, New Year's Eve. You knew what was going on when I went over to that office.
Marlena: I wasn't positive, but I-I was pretty sure she'd be there, and I wished to God he'd lock that door.
John: Oh, for God sakes, we can go on and on about how Brady is screwed up, but he was mourning Madison. But you, you decided to keep me in the dark for... how long--how long have you known about this, hmm? Oh, come on, Doc, this is the objective part of the test. What was it--an hour, a day... a week?
Marlena: A month. I've known for about a month.
Daniel: I don't get what you're trying to tell me.
Chloe: Daniel, something's happened... something wonderful.
Caroline: You know, it's just so frustrating. I have known Lois Acton for over 40 years, and I couldn't remember the woman's name.
Kayla: Well, you know, one, that happens, and, two, didn't the clinic tell you that that could happen?
Caroline: Yeah, but, I mean, it's stupid, because I can remember the first roasting pan I bought--$1.79, at Franklin's on sixth street. But, you know, that's not exactly the kind of information I need at my fingertips.
Kayla: I remember the entire lyrics to love will keep us together, but I don't remember where I parked my car half the time.
Kayla: Anything worse than forgetting a name?
Kayla: And you're staying on your meds, right?
Caroline: Yes, yes, yes. I'm staying on my meds, and if not, somebody reminds me.
Kayla: Well, you know what? I think you're doing great. I do.
Kayla: Try not to worry, okay?
Caroline: Okay. Worry about what? That's a joke.
Kayla: Ah. Funny. You're a very funny lady.
[Cell phone ringing]
Kayla: Oh. Hey, Stephanie. Oh, baby, we missed you at Christmas. What? What's wrong?
Daniel: So what? What is it that you have to tell me that is so important?
Chloe: Oh, I'm sorry. You're expecting someone, aren't you?
Abigail: You can take my car, Mom.
Jennifer: Oh, you're not using your car?
Abigail: No, I'm getting picked up later.
Jennifer: What's behind your back?
Abigail: Nothing. I was just, um, gonna have a glass of wine and read and relax.
Jennifer: Wait, baby. I've been gone 30 seconds, and you're having a glass of wine?
Abigail: Mom, this isn't a big deal.
Jennifer: No, what's wrong? Something's upsetting you. Just tell me. What is it?
Abigail: I'm upset that you're here treating me like a child when you should be on your way to Daniel's.
Jennifer: Okay. Okay. Uh, where's your keys?
Abigail: They're in my purse.
Jennifer: Wait, don't put that down--
Jennifer: Oh, I was gonna say "without a coaster," honey.
Abigail: Oh, my God.
Jennifer: It's okay.
Jennifer: It's okay. It's okay.
Daniel: Yeah, Jennifer--she's coming over tonight. We're, uh--we're having dinner together.
Chloe: Jennifer Horton?
Daniel: Yeah. Yeah, we're seeing each other.
Chloe: After she--
Daniel: Okay, Chloe...
Chloe: I know I'm clearly in no position to comment on what anyone else does.
Daniel: Good point.
Chloe: But didn't Jack just die in August? Kind of seems soon.
Daniel: Okay, so the "no commenting" thing was just pro forma?
Chloe: Sorry. I guess she really doesn't want to be alone.
John: You knew for a month... and you didn't tell me about that.
Marlena: That's right.
John: You didn't think you had to tell me about that? You just sent me over to Brady's office knowing that he was sleeping with her?
Marlena: Do you remember, John, that I was trying to stop you? Do you remember that I told you to stay out of Brady's life?
John: Yeah, but not why. You kind of kept that little piece of information to yourself. You knew that he was with that woman, you knew it for months, and, damn it, you didn't tell me!
Marlena: He should have told you. It was his place to tell you.
John: Doc, for God sakes, he was in trouble. He was in over his head. Doc, come on, you're a shrink. He was grieving, and you let that lying piece of--just go in for the kill, and you didn't do anything about it.
Marlena: Will you listen to yourself, please? The first time you've called her a name is when you found out that she was sleeping with your son. What about all the times I tried to tell you that she was still the same lying, conniving sociopath she'd always been? You didn't believe me. Not only did you not believe me, you treated me like I was hormonal. You could clearly see how she had changed, but maybe I was overreacting. Do you know how thrilled she was to find out that everybody in Salem, including my husband, thought that I was crazy? Maybe I didn't tell you because I'd stopped trusting you... because you had believed Kristen over me ever since she came back into our lives. And maybe I didn't tell you because I didn't want Kristen turning everything inside out and upside down so you believed her and not me one more time. And maybe I didn't tell you because I was so tired of being the villain in the piece!
Brady: Well, here's something you never see--Sami Brady shooting her mouth off about something she knows nothing about.
Sami: I know that you are sleeping with a woman who tried to murder my mother.
Brady: So Kristen seduced me to hurt my father--is that your theory? Well, there's a problem with that, because the facts are gonna get in the way. I went after her.
Sami: Oh, come on. Brady, this woman goes around town convincing people she's human. Obviously it wouldn't be that hard for her to convince you that you're the aggressor. Please--
Brady: All right, Sami, let me ask you this. If she wanted to hurt my father, wouldn't she want him to find out about us, huh?
Sami: Huh? Huh? He did. He did find out, and that's why you're in the hospital right now, Brady.
Brady: Did he tell you how it happened? Here's how it happened, Sami. He walked in on us without calling, without warning, and found Kristen and me together in my office, okay? What, was she clairvoyant? She knew that he was gonna walk in at that very moment? No. As a matter of fact, she's tried to call this thing off many times, but I wouldn't let her. She was worried that my father would go ballistic and that I would lose him. I was willing to risk it, Sami, all right? So your little conspiracy theory--it's bull. It's pure bull.
Sami: So everybody's wrong. Everybody is wrong about her, and you are right-- that Kristen is actually a selfless, kind, wonderful woman, and the two of you together are a sweet, cute, adorable couple, not lady Macbeth and Bambi like I had thought. Thank God. Brady, if you were so sure that what you were doing wasn't terribly wrong, then you have to ask yourself why you didn't want anyone to know.
[Door closes] Oh, good. You're still here. I just want to make one thing clear. I'm not here to talk sense into my brother. I'm here to make sure you do not hurt my family.
Kristen: Sami... just how do you propose to do that?
Sami: I know the truth about you. And Brady may still have rose-colored glasses on, but pretty soon the entire town will understand that you are... evil.
Kristen: This coming from the woman who tried to sell her baby sister?
Sami: [Chuckles] Yeah, just imagine what I'm willing to do to people I don't like.
Kristen: Yeah, scary.
Sami: Brady may be vulnerable, and he has always had a thing for slutty bitches, so he was easy prey. But John's eyes are open, so you are done.
Kristen: You know, you never should underestimate DiMeras, and yet you keep doing it over and over again.
Sami: And yet I'm still here.
Kristen: For now. I'm kidding, Sami. Come on, I don't want to fight with you. I'm your children's aunt. Maybe we can get over this. Maybe you and me and EJ and Brady can go have some cocktails or dinner and a movie maybe. I don't know--something?
Sami: I would rather stick needles in my eyes.
Kristen: Look, I'm trying to help, okay? I don't want you to lose Brady. In fact, I'm gonna make sure that doesn't happen, because I'm gonna stick up for you to him. And you know why? Because we're family. And the way it's going... I might be more than just your children's Aunt Kristen very soon, and I would hate for there to be any kind of awkward holiday dinners, right? Bye.
John: I was wrong about her, and you were right. I think I've said that, but there is no way that you were gonna be the villain in all this, Doc.
Marlena: Really? Because that's what happened every time I tried to tell you the truth.
John: Ah, come on, give me a break, will you? I would have believed you.
Marlena: Would you? Because every time I tried to tell you and warn you, you behaved like I was a fool.
John: Well, are you talking about when you were out of control and you broke into her room?
Marlena: I went in there to try to find real proof of what she was doing, because I knew she was dangerous, and I knew you would not believe me. I would have needed an actual photograph of them making love for you to believe me, because my word was not good enough for you!
John: You didn't think that I had a right to know?
Marlena: I don't know what I thought. I didn't know us anymore. I know you thought you were living with somebody who was paranoid or crazy or hallucinating. And maybe I didn't tell you to protect myself. And maybe you would have done the same thing.
Kayla: Stephanie, Stephanie, whatever it is, we will figure it out. What? Oh, my God.
Abigail: Oh, my God, Mom.
Jennifer: Oh, my goodness. Ugh!
Abigail: I'm so sorry, Mom.
Jennifer: Honey, it's not your fault. It really isn't. I just don't know what I'm gonna do now.
Abigail: Change immediately-- that's what you're gonna do.
Jennifer: I don't have time to change. Maybe--maybe it'll just dry on my way over to Daniel's.
Abigail: Dry? Mom, even if it dries, you're still gonna smell like a wino. And it's not gonna take you that long to change. How long could it really take you?
Jennifer: Honey, it only takes me 2 minutes to change, but it'll take me 45 minutes to figure out what I'm gonna wear and get a whole new outfit.
Abigail: Okay, okay, um... I know. Wear that pretty dress that you wore to church on Sunday, but just lose the jacket, and you can keep all your jewelry the same, but, um, change your shoes to the suede heels that you say are too tight.
Jennifer: Right, because they are too tight. They hurt my feet. I can't wear them.
Abigail: Mom, you look gorgeous in them. Good Lord, where are your priorities? Now go. I will-- I'm gonna get the keys.
Jennifer: All right, I'll text Daniel, and I'm gonna tell him that I'm gonna be late. And just hurry.
Daniel: I'm sorry. What did you say about Jennifer?
Chloe: I just meant--all I was saying--
Daniel: No, she's my friend, Chloe.
Chloe: Yeah, well, she's obviously more than that. You just said that you were seeing her, and I just thought that that meant that you were--
Daniel: Okay, you know this is none of your business... right?
Chloe: I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Every time I open my mouth, everything that comes out is wrong, and I know it while I'm saying it.
Daniel: Okay, look, it... it's okay.
Chloe: No, it's not. I don't know. I guess just... being here in this place... with you... where we were so happy... I guess it's just a lot harder than I thought it would be.
Daniel: Look, Chloe--
[Cell phone rings]
Daniel: Hold on. [Exhales sharply]
Daniel: Okay, that's Jennifer. She's gonna be, uh, a little while. Okay, so why--why don't you, um... take a breath? Relax. You want a--you want a glass of wine?
Chloe: No. No, no. I'll be fine, I promise.
Daniel: Okay, then what? What is it that you need to tell me? Just say it.
Abigail: Wow. Okay, I am not just saying this to get out of trouble, but you look even better than you did before.
Jennifer: Thank you, honey, but my feet are killing me.
Abigail: Well, you will survive. Here, take this. Go and have fun. Say hi to Daniel for me, okay?
Jennifer: I will.
Both: Love you. Mwah.
Jennifer: Thank you.
Abigail: You're welcome.
Lucas: Oh, thank God you're here. I need you. [Sighs]
Chloe: Well, I'm sorry that Jennifer's late. But I'm glad for the time, because what I have to say is... very complicated and very simple at the same time.
Daniel: Well, can we just get to the simple?
Chloe: No, I don't think so. The complicated comes first. When something goes wrong, once in a while, once in a great while, you have an opportunity to make it right... to fix it. I've just been--I've been thinking about us and me and... how deeply I hurt you.
Daniel: Do we really need to go over that again?
Chloe: When we were together, Daniel, it was special. And when all of that blew up and it wasn't special anymore... it really killed me. And I think it killed you too. And I don't know. I guess something that right and that strong--can it really be erased? I don't think so. And that's why I'm here. That's why I had to talk to you. And is any of this making sense?
Daniel: Do you want to know the truth? No.
[Knock at door]
Brady: Ooh. Yeah?
Kristen: Hey, what are you doing? I would have helped you get dressed.
Brady: That's all right. I just wish I would have worn loafers or something.
Kristen: Well, I'll get that for you, okay?
Brady: Thank you.
Kristen: So how did things go with Sami?
Brady: Oh. Oh, perfect. She heard my side of the story, we talked it out, and everything's great. Oh, wait. No, no, no, she yelled at me, screamed at me, and didn't listen to a word I had to say.
Kristen: I got some of that too. I'm still feeling pretty horrible, you know.
Brady: Why are you feeling horrible?
Kristen: Well, because--why do you think? I mean, even though your family might not be perfect, God knows mine isn't perfect, you still don't want them tearing--
Brady: To be at war with one another.
Kristen: Exactly, and we know why your family's at war. It's me.
Brady: Kristen. Kristen. Is my boot zipped up?
Brady: Can we get the hell out of here, please?
Kristen: Okay. Um, do you want to maybe see your father before we go?
Brady: No. I don't.
Brady: Let's go.
John: No, Doc, I... wouldn't have done the same thing.
Marlena: All right.
Marlena: You may tell yourself that. I'm sorry you had to find out the way you did. And I'm so sorry you and Brady fought. But I'm not sure I'm sorry that I'm not the one who told you.
John: I get that you're upset, and I get that I've been unfair to you. But I also get the feeling that you're working awfully hard to try to convince me that...
Marlena: Working hard?
John: There's something else. There's... there's another reason why you didn't want to tell me about them... just something else you're keeping to yourself.
Sami: [Groans] I just talked to that bitch Kristen, and it is worse than I thought. But the bottom line is we have to stick together, okay? No matter what.
Kayla: Stephanie, I'm--I'm looking at the fax right now. No, I understand what happened, but... I know. I know. And listen, listen, you did the right thing, okay? I know this is a shock, but you did the right thing. Listen, I want you to calm down, okay? I'm gonna take care of this. I promise. O--all right, baby. Listen, I will call you tomorrow, okay? I love you. Oh, man.
Caroline: What was that all about? That was Stephanie, right? Why did she call?
Kayla: Because she needs to set things straight.
Jennifer: So Kate lost her hotel reservation. Who cares? I don't care.
Lucas: Come on, just help me out, please.
Jennifer: She's a grown woman. She can't book her own hotel room?
Lucas: She doesn't need just a room. She needs a suite in an exclusive hotel, and if she doesn't get it, she'll come back. And do you have any idea how long I've been waiting for her to just be gone with a big ocean between us? Please.
Jennifer: I am not a travel agent. I don't understand what you want me to do.
Lucas: Well, I'm--I'm glad you asked. You see, you wrote an article about the Hotel...
Lucas: You put that place on the map, so maybe you can call them for me, see if they have a room--a suite? Please? For me?
Chloe: I know. I'm rambling. But there is a point to all this. You see, I've been keeping up with what's going on with you.
Daniel: What? How? What?
Chloe: Well, Brady and I talk sometimes, and he told me how you found out you were Maggie's son last year, and I think that's great. I always thought she was a truly wonderful woman, and I know how close she is with Melanie.
Daniel: Actually, I already know what happened to me since you left.
Daniel: Okay. Okay.
Chloe: Brady also told me about the procedure you had so you could become a surgeon again. The point of all this is I think that really great things have been happening for you because you deserve them. And I'm here to tell you that something else really great has happened... for both of us.
Jennifer: [Speaking French]
Lucas: That's it? You did it? All right, you're a lifesaver.
Jennifer: Oh, let's just hope this hotel can stand having Kate as a guest.
Lucas: Well, you know, you talk some pretty good French there. What'd you say? That was awesome.
Jennifer: Thanks. I booked her for seven nights with the room overlooking the park.
Lucas: You got her a room. She needs a suite, Jennifer. It's not gonna work. She hates parks too.
Jennifer: What? Who hates parks?
Lucas: My mother hates parks. She can't stand 'em.
Abigail: Wow, that's really smooth, Uncle Lucas. My mom does you a favor, and it's not good enough for you? She was late for her date, and she dropped everything to help you.
Lucas: A date, really?
Lucas: Thank you. Thanks for telling me that. You're gonna see him, aren't you?
Jennifer: Yes, I'm going to see Daniel. We're going on a date.
Lucas: Oh, great.
Jennifer: So you need to deal with it.
Daniel: Okay, Chloe, I'm gonna try to say this nicely, but we don't seem to be getting anywhere.
Chloe: I'm trying to explain.
Daniel: You've been trying for a while now, and I'm more confused than when you got here. Now, you can understand that I'd rather you weren't here when Jennifer shows up. Now, I will leave some time for you in the morning, and you'll have lots of time to just get right to the point. Deal?
Chloe: No deal.
Kristen: Watch this. I learned my lesson. I'm locking the door.
Brady: Isn't that like locking the barn door after the horses have bolted?
Kristen: I know. If Sami knows, that means half of Salem knows, right?
Brady: Yeah. [Grunts in pain]
Kristen: Oh. I didn't know you were still in so much pain.
Brady: No, I bruised a rib. I'll be fine.
Kristen: Are you kidding me? I didn't think it-- I didn't think I could feel any worse than I already do.
Brady: Stop putting this on yourself, all right? I want to be here. I want to be here with you. I don't care who has a problem with it. If my dad can't take it, then so be it.
Kristen: You know, it would be bad enough if it was just losing your dad, but it's Marlena, it's Bo, it's Victor...
Kristen: It's Maggie--
Brady: Kristen, I-I don't care.
Kristen: They already think that I engineered this whole thing. That's what everybody believes.
Brady: I told you I don't care about them.
Kristen: It's gonna get worse for you, though. You're gonna miss them. You're gonna be all alone.
Brady: I'll have you.
Kristen: I'm not good for you. I'm really not good.
Brady: [Laughs] You--you couldn't be more wrong about that.
Kristen: I'm not... no, I'm not good for you at all. I'm not.
Sami: When she was in the room with Brady, she was all, "Oh, I feel so terrible that I came between you and your family." I mean, it was ridiculous, but when she were in private, she basically laughed in my face.
Marlena: Yes, I know how that goes.
Sami: Well, we all know what she's like. The important thing right now is Brady. I mean, it as though he has joined a cult. He drank the Kool-Aid, and now he wants to give up his entire family just to be with her. Well, we can beat him. We can beat this. We can get him back. We just have to present a united front. We have to trust each other. That is the most important thing. I basically said to Kristen-- look, she's fooled Brady, and that is one thing, but we're gonna get him back. But we know what she's like. We know the truth. We're not gonna let her get away with it. The two of you can't let her play you against each other. That can't happen again... for Brady's sake.
John: Damn, Samantha, you are so right.
Sami: Okay. Okay, good. Then I'll go get some air, and, John--
Sami: I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Just be okay. Hang in there, okay?
John: Oh, yeah.
Sami: It's gonna work out.
John: You know it will.
Sami: And, Mom, I'm--I'm so sorry. I know this sucks, but the worst is over, right? I mean, now we know what Kristen's doing, and all her cards are on the table. We just won't let her get away with it, okay? I love you. Okay.
John: Bye, sweetheart.
John: Well... looks like all of Kristen's cards are on the table. Are all of ours?
John: Before Samantha came in, I asked you if there was another reason you didn't tell me about them, and I just... got this feeling that you were about to say something.
Marlena: No. There's nothing.
John: I'm not sure I believe you.
Marlena: You don't believe me?
John: No. There's something you're not saying, Doc. I don't know what it is, and I don't know why you're keeping it to yourself, but... there's more, isn't there? There is another reason why you didn't want to tell me about Brady and Kristen.
Marlena: John... you heard what Sami said. We can't let Kristen tear us apart. Let's go home. Let's start putting all this behind us.
John: I'm not gonna go home, not tonight.
Marlena: You can. You've been released.
John: No, I'm gonna get a hotel room. I need a little time alone.
John: Well, you heard Samantha, Doc. We have to trust each other. And I'm not sure that I do trust you right now.
Brady: You--you are good for me.
Brady: You--you couldn't be better for me. And I'm gonna say something to you right now. It's probably too early, but I... I'm falling in love with you. Does that--does it freak you out a little bit?
Kristen: Yeah. I mean, no.
Brady: That's all right.
Kristen: You have no idea... how that makes me feel.
Lucas: I cannot believe you could be so stupid.
Jennifer: And I cannot believe that we are revisiting this, because we've already argued about it, and you apologized.
Lucas: Yeah, I thought you would have come to your senses by now, but I guess I'm wrong.
Abigail: You know what, Uncle Lucas? My mom doesn't need this, okay? Just back off.
Jennifer: Honey, you don't have to do this. I'm fine.
[Cell phone ringing]
Abigail: Well, good, because my ride is here.
Jennifer: Good. It's good that you're leaving, 'cause you probably don't want to see what I'm about to do to your uncle.
Abigail: Okay. Just don't let this take too long. And, Mom, listen to me. You have something a lot more important to do, okay?
Lucas: Well, I can see she's brainwashed too. That's nice.
Jennifer: Come on, Lucas. This is none of your business, and your tone is so offensive right now.
Lucas: I think what Daniel does to women is offensive--the way he uses them.
Jennifer: Lucas, will you stop it? I know--I know how badly he hurt you. But you and I--we have made our share of mistakes, don't you think?
Jennifer: Okay, and if everything was so right between you and Chloe at the time...
Lucas: Really? We're gonna go there now?
Jennifer: Yeah, we're gonna go there, because it's true. People can't be split up by anything or anyone if they are perfectly happy and madly in love with each other. Do you agree with me?
Lucas: I just think you're making excuses for the guy. That's what it sounds like to me.
Jennifer: I'm not making excuses, and I'm not gonna argue anymore about this. It's a waste of time--time that I could be spending with Daniel. I have a date tonight with Daniel, and I am in love with him. And there is nothing that is going to get in the way of that.
Caroline: What are you gonna do?
Kayla: There's only one thing I can do. I got to talk to Daniel... right now.
Chloe: No, I can't leave until you know... that there's been a miracle... a real miracle. Everything is the way it should be.
Daniel: Damn it, Chloe, what the hell are you talking about?
Chloe: I'm talking about your son... Parker.
Daniel: Parker is not my--
Chloe: But he is. That's what I've been trying to tell you. Parker is your son... our son.
