Episode #11985 ~ Eric Deals With Dark Memories About Africa; Nick & Gabi Convince Marlena They Can Make Their Marriage Work
Provided By Suzanne
Caroline: [Clears throat] Hello.
Caroline: Hey. Well, you know, your waitress, Lydia, said there was a priest looking for me. I thought it could be you.
Eric: Well, if you have time.
Caroline: For what?
Eric: Well, I thought it'd be nice if we had a cup of tea... you know, with my wonderful grandmother.
Caroline: Sin of omission, father. You're gonna have to do two decades of a rosary.
Eric: What--what did I omit?
Caroline: The real reason you're here.
Eric: And what's that?
Caroline: To check to see if your wonderful grandmother's gaga again.
Nicole: Uh, hey, Chad.
Chad: Oh, hi.
Nicole: Yeah, I haven't really seen you much since I've been exiled from DiMera land.
Chad: Ah. Well, I'd say it's great to see you, but we don't really give a crap about each other.
Nicole: Ow. Okay. It's almost Christmas.
Chad: Looks like you bought out the stores.
Nicole: St. Luke's has this really great thing where you can sign up and get a kid's name from a family with no money...
Nicole: And then you shop for the kid, whatever he has on his Christmas list. And then the parish gives presents to the parents so they can give them to their kids on Christmas morning.
Chad: Oh. Well, that's really nice.
Nicole: Yeah. It was a lot of fun too, actually. It got me in the Christmas spirit so much, I bought Sydney a few things. I couldn't help myself. And ever since EJ and I got divorced, he made it very clear that, um... I can't see her anymore.
Chad: So that's why we're having this conversation.
Nicole: I was just hoping maybe you could put them under the tree. I haven't seen her in so long. I don't want her to forget me. Okay, uh... sorry I bothered you.
Chad: Nicole. [Sighs] I have a picture of Sydney with Santa. You want to see it?
John: Hey, Nick... I'm sure that Gabi and Marlena are gonna be just fine.
Nick: Yeah, I know. Right.
John: And now...this is your turn to discus your innermost feelings about marriage with a guy you hardly even know.
Nick: Yeah, I-I could talk about that all day. I mean, I've never been happier about anything in my entire life.
Marlena: If you haven't told Dario about the wedding or anyone in your family, have you told-- have you told Rafe?
Gabi: No, Sami did.
Marlena: I'm so sorry. Uh, I must ask you this. Does it mean that you are ashamed of being pregnant, or you're ashamed of Nick?
Gabi: I'm not ashamed of anything.
Marlena: Then why aren't you telling your family about the big changes in your life?
Gabi: You think I'm afraid to tell them I'm getting married because I'm pregnant and that the--the father has a prison record, right? That's what you think?
Marlena: That is what I think.
Gabi: You want to blame this whole thing on Nick?
Marlena: I'm not trying to blame Nick, although I think he has been fairly irresponsible.
Gabi: Well, what about me? I mean, I've been irresponsible.
Marlena: Nick is older than you are. He knows how not to make a baby.
Gabi: I want this baby. And I would--Nick--I would really like to see--I want to show you all the things that he's doing. He's--the sacrifice he's making.
Marlena: It isn't a sacrifice to marry the mother of your child.
Sonny: [Sighs] I figured it all out, will.
Will: Figured what out?
Sonny: The secret between you, Gabi, and Nick.
Will: I don't know what you're talking about.
Sonny: You don't have to do that anymore.
Will: Do what?
Sonny: Cover it up. I know what happened between you and Gabi.
John: Hey, Nick?
John: [Chuckles] So--so tell me. What is it about marrying Gabi that makes you so happy?
Nick: Well, um... the first time I met her, I just-- I knew she was what I was looking for.
John: And what is that?
Nick: Uh... [Both chuckle] Uh, you know, she, uh-- she needs me, but she doesn't, like, hang all over me. Like, I know she loves me, but she's got her own life, and she's got her own friends, and... she makes me feel, uh... better about myself than... I've ever felt before.
John: Damn. What a woman.
Nick: What, you, uh--you don't believe me?
John: No, absolutely, I do.
Nick: Then why are you looking at me like that?
John: Well, Nick, I guess I'm just a little surprised at how quickly all that has happened.
Gabi: Nick is committed to spending his life with the baby and me.
Marlena: It's only a sacrifice if he doesn't love you.
Gabi: Of course he loves me. We--we both love each other.
Marlena: Then why did you call it a sacrifice? It's Nick's baby too.
Gabi: He's not the father, will. You are. Why are you twisting my words?
Marlena: I don't think that I am.
Gabi: Nick and I love each other, and we want to be give this baby a wonderful life. Isn't that enough?
Will: I don't know-- what are you talking about? What exactly--exactly do you think happened between me and Gabi?
Sonny: You know, it took me a while to figure out, but I did. And what hit me--the last time I saw you looking happy was the first night that you and I--
Will: Were together. Yes, I remember.
Sonny: And then Gabi showed up at the door. She looked a wreck and wanted to talk to you alone.
Sonny: And that is when she said that she was pregnant, right?
Sonny: And then you changed. I could tell that something was weighing you down.
Will: Yeah, it makes sense, don't you think?
Sonny: I-I asked you so many times what was wrong. I was afraid it was something I did.
Will: I couldn't tell you.
Sonny: Why? Why couldn't you be honest with me? 3q it's time to change the way we clean.
Nicole: Oh, my gosh. I miss her so much. She's so cute!
Chad: Nicole, I wish there was something I could do for you. I mean, really, I do.
Nicole: But there isn't, is there?
Chad: Well, if I put your presents under the tree, EJ's gonna freak out. And he is gonna make your life worse than it already is.
Nicole: Yeah. I-I'm sorry I asked. Well, have a nice Christmas.
Chad: Okay, just--just-- just hold on a second. Um... go wrap your presents. I will figure out some way to get them to Sydney, okay?
Nicole: Um, what about EJ?
Chad: He can't know where they came from, which means that Sydney can't know where they came from, okay?
Nicole: Yeah, okay, but that means I'll--I'll know she has 'em. And that's something, right? So thank you so much. Thank you.
Chad: Forget about it. It's okay.
Nicole: It's-- [Exhales sharply] Thank you.
Abigail: Wait. Um...
Chad: Abigail, hey.
Abigail: Hi. Hi, Nicole.
Nicole: Hi. Um, yeah, so... I'll let you guys catch up.
Abigail: Oh, no, actually, I was looking for you.
Caroline: Will was here eating breakfast. Roman was here for lunch. And now you're here to cover the tea time. You know, I may be slightly dotty, but I'm not stupid.
Eric: We love you, and we want this to work for you. So we just stopped by just in case you need backup. And if you don't like it, too bad.
Caroline: Don't you get fresh with me, young man.
Eric: You're not upset about it, are you?
Caroline: I don't think I like to be the center of attention. I want to know about you. Do you know what it means to me that you're saying midnight mass this year?
Eric: Well, do you know what it means to me that you're gonna be there?
Caroline: Yeah, I sure do.
Eric: I'm sorry, grandma.
Caroline: Are you getting enough sleep?
Eric: The hospital called for a priest two nights in a row.
Caroline: Oh, you're doing too much.
Eric: I'll be fine, grandma. I just need a good night's sleep.
Caroline: [Sighs] Well, can't father Tobias do some of that?
Eric: Well, he was doing it before I got here. I mean, he deserves a break too.
Caroline: Sami tells me that you're gonna marry Nick and Gabi. And Marlena tells me that you're running every board meeting.
Eric: And you need to stop spying on me.
Caroline: Well, I think you're taking on a lot.
Eric: I'll make you a deal. If you stop worrying about me, I'll stop worrying about you.
Caroline: Okay. [Both laugh] But I got to say one thing. I, uh-- you act as if you were--as if you've got to prove something.
Eric: Because I do.
Nick: You know, I didn't think that the purpose of these pre-cana conferences were to convince me not to get married.
John: I'm not trying to do that.
Nick: Well, you just said that it was happening too fast.
John: Nick, what I was trying to say is it takes a long time to get to know someone. And the church--well, the church teaches that a marriage is-- [Scoffs] Well, son, it's forever.
Nick: Yeah. I-I-I know that, and I'm--
John: Why do you keep looking at the door, Nick? Are you nervous about what's going on with Gabi and Marlena?
Nick: No, it's just that I don't know if I like this whole divide-and-conquer strategy.
John: Is that what you think's going on here?
Nick: No, it's just that Gabi and I have always done everything together, okay? That's the way it's always been. And I know that "always" hasn't necessarily been all that long, but that's what's felt right to us, okay? I believe in her, and she... helps me believe in myself.
John: Yeah, I can tell.
Nick: You know what my problem is?
John: What's that?
Nick: My problem is that father Eric never told us that you and Marlena would be doing these conferences with us. I had a prison therapy session with Marlena, okay? She knows every bad thing that there is to know about me.
John: Well, Nick, then you know that she cannot divulge anything that you told her in a session.
Nick: Sure. But that doesn't stop her from telling Gabi that I would make a lousy husband and a father.
Marlena: Gabi, I'm sorry if I upset you. But counseling is about looking at an issue from every possible angle, and that's why I think Eric wanted me to talk to you.
Gabi: I understand. I just feel like you're just examining the bad sides.
Marlena: Let me be frank. If Eric had told me we would be counseling you and Nick, I would've refused.
Marlena: Because of your relationship with will.
Gabi: What does that mean?
Marlena: I know you had a bad breakup. I know you were very hurt.
Gabi: Yeah, I was. I mean, I-- for a long time, I thought that there was something wrong with me. Well, then he told me that he was gay, and I understood.
Marlena: I know you had very strong feelings for him. And I have a sense that if he had returned those feelings, well, I might be sitting here talking to you and my grandson.
Will: I don't know what else to say besides I'm sorry.
Sonny: It didn't, uh, enter your mind... that I would eventually figure this out? I saw Gabi before you asked me for the money. She looked sick as a dog, and she tried to tell me that it was the flu. And you got Nick who thinks she has an upset stomach 'cause something Chad said? He didn't have a clue. She didn't want him to know that she was pregnant. You asked me for the money to help her get an abortion.
Sonny: And there's only one reason that she told you she was pregnant and no one else. And it's the same reason that she wanted you and no one else to take her to the abortion clinic.
Eric: Grandma, you know, when I decided on a life in the priesthood, it's not because I wanted a cushy job.
Caroline: Yeah, I'm very proud of you. I just don't want you to burn yourself out trying to be everything to everybody.
Eric: I'm not.
Caroline: Okay, I got to say one thing.
Eric: [Laughs] Has anybody ever stopped you?
Caroline: You're different... than you were before.
Eric: I'm a priest. I'm grown up. I have more responsibilities.
Caroline: It's not just that. There's an uneasiness about you. And it started when you came back from Africa.
Gabi: I used to be will's girlfriend, and now I'm not. What different does that make?
Marlena: Maybe I'm the wrong person to be talking to you. I seem to keep upsetting you.
Gabi: Dr. Evans, I have so much respect for you, and I would love for you to approve of what I'm doing. But... if you don't... Nick and I are still just gonna be fine.
Marlena: Good for you.
Gabi: And I care--I care so much about will still, and he's one of my best friends. But honestly, no one has ever made me feel the way Nick does. I can see that he loves me just as much as I love him. And that's a first for me. It's not a one-way street anymore.
Abigail: You helped Daniel save my mom's life, and I just wanted to say thank you.
Nicole: [Scoffs] I-I didn't do that much. Daniel's the hero.
Abigail: Right, but it couldn't have been an easy situation for you.
Nicole: And how much it will mean to be back with the woman that you love... Jennifer. No. [Chuckles] No, but, um, I've made peace with that. And, uh, I care about... Daniel enough to want him to be happy. Listen, I hope you and your family have as happy of a Christmas as you can... under the circumstances.
Abigail: Thank you. And I wish the same for you.
Chad: [Sighs] Well, that was really great of you to say that.
Abigail: She's left with nothing in this mess, and it's kind of hard not to feel at least a little bit sorry for her.
Chad: [Chuckles] I know what you mean.
Abigail: You were really sweet about Sydney.
Chad: Ah, well, she really loves that kid.
Chad: And what's going on here? It seems like everybody's shopping today.
Abigail: Oh, not me. This is my dress for the wedding, actually.
Chad: You're going to Nick and Gabi's wedding.
Abigail: Yes, I am. I am the maid of honor.
Chad: Well, somebody has to be.
Abigail: Okay, look, I know-- I know that you don't like Gabi anymore, and I don't even know why, but... Gabi's my really good friend, Chad. And if you and I are gonna start hanging out together again, then I need you to deal with that.
Gabi: I met Nick at one of the worst times in my life.
Gabi: I can't tell you about it, but it was really bad.
Marlena: I'm sorry, Gabi.
Gabi: Oh, you don't have to be. From the moment that I met Nick and started to get to know him, I just had this feeling like things were just gonna get better.
Marlena: What did he do to make you feel that way?
Gabi: I don't know--I guess I always just kind of knew how he felt about me. You know, he always showed me that he really did love me. And I didn't have to wonder or try to figure it out. I just kind of--I kind of knew. You know what I mean?
Marlena: I know exactly what you mean.
Will: I am so sorry. I wanted to tell you. It's been driving me insane.
Sonny: I can tell.
Will: I took Gabi to the abortion clinic because she said that she wanted--she wanted me to. Is that--is it wrong to think that was her decision?
Sonny: No, it is her decision. But I have the right to know what I'm paying for.
Will: Yeah, I'm sorry. That day was just crazy, man. Mom and Rafe found out what was going on, and then they showed up at the abortion clinic. Before I could say anything, Nick charged in the abortion clinic. Then Gabi changed her mind. I mean, if I could take back everything... then everything would be different.
Sonny: Will... it's okay.
Sonny: It's okay. I understand.
Will: You do? You really understand?
Sonny: Yeah, I know you and Gabi were together when I first got to Salem. You weren't ready to accept the fact that you were gay. And you were upfront about that. I get that.
Will: Yeah, I wasn't fair to her.
Sonny: Well, you must've done something right. I mean, she finds out she's pregnant. She's freaking out. She turns to you. It's because you're great to her.
Will: No. No, I wouldn't say that.
Sonny: Then she asks you to keep this secret, even from me, and you did it. And I don't think less of you for that.
Will: You--so you know everything... and you still don't hate me? You are the single most incredible person that I have ever met.
Sonny: [Sighs] So I guess, uh, Gabi really didn't want Nick to find out that she was pregnant, huh?
Will: Well, yeah.
Sonny: I'm glad she changed her mind. You know, I'm not really that crazy about Nick, but, uh... he is the baby's father.
Marlena: Well, I'm pleased to say that I think you're getting married for all the right reasons. You've convinced me.
Gabi: Thank you so much, dr. Evans. Thank you.
Marlena: Mm. And that's good, because you and Nick are gonna face some incredible obstacles.
Gabi: Yeah. We are. I know, but I think that we're gonna get through it.
Marlena: I think so too.
[Knock at door]
Marlena: Oh, come in here!
John: Yeah, see? Nothing to worry about.
Abigail: I know that Gabi isn't your favorite person in the world.
Chad: It's worse than that.
Abigail: I wish you would just tell me why.
Chad: I do too, but, Abigail, I-I can't, okay?
Abigail: Fine. Whatever. She needed a maid of honor, okay? And will's mom was putting the pressure on, and--
Chad: You don't have to explain yourself.
Abigail: Thank you.
Chad: Yeah. So this dress... is it ugly? What does it look like?
Abigail: What? No, it's not ugly!
Chad: Well, aren't bridesmaid's dresses supposed to be ugly? You know, shiny, big bow--
Abigail: No, I have much better taste than that, actually--thank you very much-- except in men.
Chad: Ouch. So you're not gonna take me up on my offer?
Abigail: Oh, you mean that really sweet offer to go out with you because we've both been dumped? Gee, I don't know how I could possibly turn that down.
Chad: Oh, come on, there are worse ways to spend an evening.
Abigail: Ah, I guess you are right. There are worse ways, like doing a research paper or getting a bikini wax... or reading Canterbury tales.
Chad: Okay, okay, okay.
Abigail: Getting the stomach flu--now, that could definitely be worse.
Caroline: You must've seen some terrible things in Africa.
Eric: You know, the suffering there... it's unimaginable.
Caroline: But you don't want to talk about it, right? Well, if you ever do want to talk about things, I'm here. And you don't have to worry about my blabbing about it, because I forget half the things people tell me anyway. [Both laugh] So I better get back to the kitchen for a minute. Ah. Mm.
Eric: I love you, grandma.
Caroline: I know that.
Eric: Please. Don't. No. No!
Nicole: Eric? Are you okay?
Abigail: Watching golf on TV--now, that might be worse than going out with you.
Chad: "Might"? You said "might be worse." You're running out of steam here. What if we had a good time?
Abigail: You and me?
Chad: Come on, it's possible.
Abigail: Anything's possible. I should get going.
Chad: Wait, wait, hold on. Hold on, not so fast. Look, I, um... I know we've been laughing. But I also know that life hasn't been a picnic for either one of us, especially you.
Abigail: Yes, that is true.
Chad: Yeah, and, uh, look, I know it's Christmas. So... from one friend to another... how are you doing?
Will: So what you're upset about... is that you wish you had known that you were paying for Gabi's abortion.
Sonny: Yeah. But she had every right to make whatever choice she needed to make.
Sonny: [Sighs] I guess I was just upset that I was in the dark. But I think I came down on you a little too hard.
Will: No, you didn't. No.
Sonny: I just want you to feel like you can tell me anything.
Will: I do. Trust me--I do feel like that.
Sonny: And it's okay. You know, Gabi didn't want anyone to know that she's pregnant.
Sonny: And you respected that.
Sonny: No matter what I think about her, I'm not gonna say anything to anybody.
Will: Okay, wow. Good news is it's over now, you know? Nick knows everything. Gabi loves him.
Sonny: So what, she was just afraid that she would lose him if he found out she was pregnant?
Will: Yeah, that was it.
Sonny: Well, I guess she was wrong, 'cause... they seem happy.
Will: They are, yeah. They're getting married. So I guess--I mean, I hope we don't have to talk about this anymore.
Sonny: Yeah, we don't. I promise. Actually, I would prefer we never talk about Gabi... if that's okay.
Will: Okay, works for me. So what are you doing for Christmas?
Eric: Nicole, I-I didn't see you come in. You know, you, uh... you startled me, but I'm fine.
Nicole: Good, 'cause I kind of need you to be fine.
Eric: What happened?
Nicole: Well, I-I was shopping for presents for my kid at the parish, and... I couldn't help but think how this would've been my first Christmas with my baby and... how I can't see Sydney.
Eric: I know. That must really hurt.
Nicole: And then I-I ran into Abigail Deveraux.
Eric: How'd that go?
Nicole: You know, she was actually nice. It's just that it reminded me that Jennifer and Daniel will probably be spending Christmas together. Sometimes Christmas sucks, you know?
Eric: Yeah. I know.
Nicole: Okay, I-I hate to tell you this, padre. I know you say you're fine, but you look like hell.
Eric: It's just I have so much to do. I just need a few more hours in the day.
Nicole: What you need is a nap.
Eric: I think you're right.
Will: So I was thinking that, um, if your parents don't mind, maybe you want to come with me to the Horton family Christmas.
Sonny: Um, I don't know if all the Hortons would be crazy about that.
Will: You know, if you're talking about my dad, this was his idea.
Sonny: Get out.
Will: Yeah. Believe it or not, he's really-- he's trying to come around.
Sonny: I know, yeah. I think it's great. I just didn't know he was gonna go as far as wanting me around for Christmas.
Will: So is that a yes?
Sonny: I think my mom would have a problem with it.
Sonny: Unless you come to my house too. You ever been to a Greek Christmas?
Will: No, but I'm looking forward to my first one.
Gabi: Hey, we're back.
Nick: We can cover the dinner shift, if you want to go get some rest.
Caroline: Oh, okay. Uh, where did you kids have to go? I forgot.
Gabi: Oh, we started our pre-cana conference today.
Caroline: Oh, right. How did it go?
Nick: Oh, well, we lucked out. We had John and Marlena to talk to.
Caroline: Oh, good. You know, Shawn and I used to counsel young couples for a while. I could never forget their nervous, eager faces.
Caroline: I wish I could remember where I left my keys as well as that.
Caroline: Well, did they counsel you about not keeping things inside when you're upset? You know, you have to talk out a problem in order to solve it.
Gabi: Yeah, we know that.
Caroline: Oh, good.
Gabi: We know.
Caroline: Good. Oh! Will, if you're here to check on me, I'm good to go, okay?
Will: Okay, boss.
Caroline: I'll see you later, alligators.
Nick: I'll meet you back there in the kitchen.
Gabi: Hey, is something wrong?
Will: No, I thought there was for a second, but there's not.
Nick: What do you mean?
Will: Um, I thought that Sonny, uh, found out that--
Gabi: What? No, he didn't, right?
Will: No. No, no.
Gabi: Good. Okay, thank God.
Will: Um, however, he did put it together that I helped you get money for the abortion and that I took you to the clinic.
Gabi: No, wait, why didn't-- did you tell him that he was wrong?
Will: No. I'm not gonna lie to him any more than I have to. Besides, he's not gonna not gonna say anything.
Gabi: How do you know that?
Will: I just do.
Gabi: No, no, no, no, no, no. Okay, look, Sonny can't stand me, and he's Chad's good friend. What if he tells Chad?
Chad: You know, I remember the first Christmas after my mom died. I mean, it was--it was the worst.
Abigail: Yeah. Hmm. My dad used to make this big deal out of every single holiday...
Abigail: At least, you know, when he was around. He'd hide our Easter egg baskets so that it would take us half a day to find it. And then the money that we would get from the tooth fairy-- it was never just under our pillow. One year he tied it to the ceiling fan. And on Christmas, every single year, he would swear to us that Santa was real. JJ's on vacation with his friends this year. He can't face coming home.
Chad: I'm really sorry.
Abigail: I'll be okay. I just--I feel so bad for my mom. You know, she didn't deserve an appendicitis on top of everything else.
Chad: Yeah, well, look, I'm not one to give advice, but, uh, can I say something? You worry so much about your mom. You really need to be worrying about yourself, okay? You have this great family. You need to utilize them. You know, let them help you get through this.
Abigail: I know. I-I-I would. I just... I don't know what they can do, you know?
Chad: Well... I told myself if I got through the first Christmas that there would never be another one like that, as hard as that. So...
Abigail: Was it true?
Chad: Yeah. Yeah. I mean, don't get me wrong. You're always gonna miss your dad, but you'll just find better ways of handling it.
Abigail: Just make it through the first one. That helps. Thank you.
Caroline: Excuse me, Nicole. I was having tea with Eric. D-do you know where he went?
Caroline: Oh. Oh, okay.
Eric: Bless me, father, for I have sinned. Please help me understand. Forgive me. Please help me forgive myself. When you spend more days than not
John: Here's where we split up.
John: So we can do our Christmas shopping for each other?
Marlena: [Laughing] I've been talking to Gabi so long, saying that marriage is a hard thing to make work, I guess I'm overreacting.
John: I guess so! Think the kids are gonna make it?
Marlena: I think they're getting married for the right reasons--that's a start.
John: Yeah. They got a rough road ahead of them.
Marlena: She's young to be having a baby.
John: He's got a prison record. How the hell's he gonna find a job to support a wife and a child?
Marlena: Did you say that to him?
John: What's the point? Yeah, but I'll tell you one thing. Today did make me realize one thing.
Marlena: What's that?
John: Just how lucky we are. We've been through all the big battles, and I am still more in love with you than ever before.
Marlena: I am too.
John: And I'm grateful... 'cause you listen to whatever's on my mind, and I know you'll always be honest with me... even if it's not easy.
Marlena: I don't know what I ever did to deserve you.
John: I do. You were you.
Chad: Hello, hello.
Chad: How's everything here?
Chad: I'm taking you worked things out with will? Guess so.
Sonny: [Chuckles] Just in time for Christmas.
Chad: Right, right. It's about Gabi, huh?
Sonny: Well, we--I promised him that we, uh, wouldn't talk about it.
Chad: See, that's what she does. She gets in between friends. She gets in between couples.
Sonny: Yeah, but everything's good now. It's all good.
Chad: Okay, and look, I'm-- I'm really happy for you and will, okay? I mean that. I just hope you know that you still cannot trust Gabi. Everything I told you about her is the truth.
Sonny: I know that.
Chad: Okay, good.
Will: Gabi, I'm telling you, you can trust Sonny. He's not gonna tell anybody. He's not gonna tell Chad.
Gabi: I just--I don't understand how you can be so sure.
Will: Because he gave me his word, and I trust that.
Gabi: Well, you said that Sonny figured things out. What if Chad figures things out too?
Nick: Babe, even Sonny didn't figure out the most important part. I mean, he still thinks that I'm the father, right?
Will: Yeah. Mm-hmm.
Nick: Yeah. And so does everybody else-- I mean, John, Marlena, will's mom, Rafe. I mean, you and I are the ones who are getting married, right? You and I are the ones who are raising this baby together. Who is gonna look at all of that and figure out that the biological father of the baby is actually some gay boy, you know? I mean, I think that we all just need to calm down, all right? I'm gonna go help out Mrs. Brady in the kitchen. See you later.
Will: "Gay boy"?
Eric: Please. Please, God.
Nicole: Hey. Oh, my God, what is wrong with you?
