Sami: Hey, Will. I thought you had class today.
Will: My professor canceled.
Sami: Well, if you have time, I think you need to talk to Gabi.
Will: Are you sure?
Gabi: That I'm pregnant? Yeah. That you're the father? Yes.
Sami: Because she's in trouble, Will. And she needs your help.
[Knock at door]
Gabi: Sorry, Kayla. I know I'm supposed to be downstairs, but I just feel really awful.
Sonny: Gabi, it's me, Sonny. Can I come in?
Gabi: Hey. You don't feel good? I have a stomach something. It's no big deal.
Sonny: You don't have to lie to me. I talked to Will.
Ciara: How do you make it do all those things? My dad said he'd get me one for Christmas. Do you think he'll remember?
Hope: Is he your daddy?
Hope: Of course, he'll remember, sweetheart.
Ciara: I miss him and Grandma a lot.
Hope: I know, sweetheart. So do I.
Kayla: Well, it looks like both of you are in luck, then. Hey, Theo.
Hope: What do you mean? Have you heard something?
Kayla: It looks like they're gonna be home sooner than we thought.
Marlena: [Groans softly]
Marlena: Oh, John.
John: Good morning.
Marlena: Hi, honey.
John: I had these delivered this morning. The rest of them are out in the vase in the living room. I just didn't want to walk in here looking like I won the Kentucky Derby.
Marlena: [Laughs] What's the occasion?
John: Well, I had a business meeting cancel this morning, so I thought I would take my beautiful wife out to breakfast, if your schedule is free.
Marlena: I do believe she's free.
John: [Whispering] Well, then I will take a shower first, because I am so much quicker.
[Cell phone rings]
Marlena: John! Wow. You don't give up, do you?
Kristen: John, it's Kristen, again. I've left you all sorts of messages. I just hope you found out that Brady's in the hospital and you are on your way here. If not, please call me, and I'll fill you in. Thanks.
Marlena: And leaving a message, hmm? No. That won't work.
Cameron: All right. Heart sounds good.
Brady: All right. Can I get out of here now?
Cameron: You were knocked unconscious, Brady. You have a concussion. I'm keeping you here for a few more hours.
Brady: [Sighs] I don't think you know how hard my head is.
Kristen: Well, I could sure fill him in, if you want.
Brady: What are you doing here?
Kristen: I just came by to see how you're doing.
Brady: Well, I'd feel a hell of a lot better if I knew you'd left Salem... for good, this time.
Kristen: Don't pay any attention to Brady, Doctor. He's always like this. Aren't you, Brady?
Cameron: I'm starting to figure that out.
Kristen: I'm here because you came to my rescue last night. So how's he doing?
Cameron: Everything looks good, but I've ordered another C.T. scan. I'm not releasing him until I see the results. I'll be back later.
Kristen: Thank you.
Brady: You heard the man. I'm--I'm fine. So you can take off. You don't owe me anything, Kristen.
Kristen: I left a couple messages for your father. Has he been in to see you yet?
Brady: Oh, I get it now.
Kristen: What is it that you get--really?
Brady: Why you're hanging around. You want to run into my dad, don't you?
Sonny: Want me to get you some tea or some water? You're not looking so good.
Gabi: Uh, what did Will tell you?
Sonny: He just said that you were having some problems, you needed his help. You know, I saw you when you came over last night looking for him. So, whatever this problem is, it seemed like it's a big deal.
Gabi: I can handle it.
Sonny: You've been crying.
Gabi: Well, I cry when I'm sick.
Sonny: Look, I'm not--I'm not trying to get in your face or in your business, you know. I'm just here to say that you can count on me too.
Gabi: Thank you.
Sonny: And I mean it, Gabi. I mean, you've been friends with Will forever. And you've been such a good friend to me. You even stood up to T, when he was gay-bashing me. That's something I'll never forget. So, if there's anything that you need... all you have to do is ask.
Gabi: I appreciate that... really. But there really isn't anything that you can do.
Nick: In this situation, I actually think there is definitely something Sonny could do.
Will: You told my mother before you told me.
Gabi: No, no, she--she came to the hospital and overheard the doctor tell me.
Will: Well, she must want to talk to me right now.
Gabi: Will, she... she doesn't know that you're the father. No one does.
Will: So what's this about Gabi?
Sami: [Sighs] I can't tell you.
Sami: I'm--I'm sworn to secrecy. But you and Gabi are friends, so I'm really hoping that you can help her with this problem.
Will: Yes, I will.
Sami: She is going to need a friend.
Will: Yes, I'll be there. [Sighs]
Sami: Um, Will? You're not going to ask me what it's about?
Sami: You weren't going to grill me, try to find out what the secret is?
Will: You said you were sworn to secrecy.
Sami: Uh-huh. And you're my son. My blood runs through your veins... so you would be dying to find out what the truth is... unless you already know.
Will: What is it that you think I know?
Sami: Nice try. Sit down. You are trying to con me into giving up information that I know by pretending that you already know it.
Will: Yeah, you got me.
Sami: It's not your fault. I learned from the master-- your Uncle Eric... who, by the way, you need to go visit at the rectory at St. Luke's.
Sami: He's back in Salem.
Will: Wow. I knew he'd been ordained. So St. Luke's is his parish?
Sami: I know. I'm so excited to have him back. And I was going to call you and tell you, but I didn't want to talk about the whole Gabi thing on the phone. Look, I really want to tell you what's going on, but-- not because I'm trying to spill secrets here-- because I think you can really help her. But I think you should go talk to Gabi, let her tell you.
Sami: I just--I just can't break the confidence, okay?
Will: I know. I'll find out myself. And I'm gonna make sure that, uh, she is okay.
Sami: You're such a good person. You are. You are, Will. I am so proud of you. How did things go with Sonny?
Will: Oh, great. We had a--we had a great time.
Sami: You did, really? 'Cause... you don't seem over the moon right now.
Will: Yeah, well, try being happy when you have four chapters of Moby Dick to read by tomorrow.
Sami: Will, I--
Nick: Chad DiMera is, uh, is your business partner, right?
Gabi: Nick, please don't.
Nick: No, no, no. He needs to know this.
Sonny: Need to know what?
Nick: Well, Chad went off at Gabi yesterday. He's the reason that she was so upset--so upset that she couldn't eat, and then she fainted, and then she had to go to the hospital.
Sonny: What did he--what did he say to you?
Gabi: It's over now.
Nick: So, if you told him to back off, he'd listen, right?
Gabi: You don't need to say anything.
Nick: He cannot keep doing this to you, Gabi.
[Cell phone rings]
Gabi: Look, I need to answer this, okay?
Nick: Yeah, yeah, go ahead. Let's talk outside.
Sami: Hey, Gabi. It's Sami. I just want to check in. How are you feeling?
Gabi: I'm okay.
Sami: For real?
Gabi: Look, I can't talk right now, because somebody's here.
Sami: Is it Nick? Have you talked to him? What did he say? Do you want me to talk to him?
Gabi: No, no, I'll handle it.
Sami: Have you told Rafe? Gabi, you have to tell him. He's your brother.
Gabi: I can't, okay? No, I can't. And you promised me that you wouldn't say anything. I need to handle this my own way.
Sami: I just wish there was something I could do to help you.
Gabi: Look, thank you for everything, but I-I got to go.
Marlena: Oh, when he said he'd found a vocation, I thought he meant something like... [Laughs] Real estate or something--I don't know.
John: Kind of makes me sorry I'm still not on the church board. Eric and I could have done some great things together.
Marlena: Yep, you and Eric and Kristen.
John: No. I resigned.
Marlena: Are you sorry about that?
John: Not at all... 'cause your happiness is more important.
Marlena: Thanks for doing that. I-I think it's the best thing. I think she would have found some way to cozy up to you.
John: Mm, you know, I don't want to argue about Kristen anymore.
Marlena: Neither do I.
John: In fact, I really don't see a reason to ever run into her or speak to her again.
Marlena: Wow. I'd like to be a fly on the wall to see how she takes the news that Brady is replacing you on the board... priceless.
Kristen: For the three millionth time, I haven't seen your father in about 15 years, because I'm no longer interested in him, okay?
Brady: Mm. But you keep calling him. You keep wondering if he stopped by. Why is that?
Kristen: Well, because you were hurt. And he's your next of kin.
Brady: Did you ever stop to think that maybe I didn't want him here, because I didn't want to worry him? You didn't think of asking me that, did you?
Kristen: You know what? I was just trying to help.
Brady: You want to help me, Kristen, you can throw me my clothes.
Kristen: The doctor said that you should--
Brady: The doctor--the doctor's covering his ass, all right? I'm fine. I'm going home.
Kristen: Okay, you feel so fine, go get your own damn clothes. Okay, okay, okay, okay. Well, you're gonna need a ride home, and it's not gonna be with me, so I'm gonna call your dad.
Hope: Fill me in.
Kayla: So I talked to Mom's doctor in California, and he said that she is the perfect candidate for the new protocol treating Alzheimer's.
Hope: Really? If she starts the program, she can do it from here.
Kayla: Well, that's what I asked him. And he said as long as everything goes well, as long as the meds agree with her, that she actually would do better here, because she'd be around the familiar surroundings, you know?
Hope: Right, right, right. So--which means that your mom and Bo--
Kayla: Right, Mom and Bo can come back sooner.
Hope: Oh, my God.
Kayla: Hallelujah. I know.
Sonny: I didn't know that Chad was the problem.
Sonny: I'll talk to him.
Nick: Thank you, Sonny. I-I really appreciate that.
Sonny: Take care, Gabi.
Gabi: I will. Thank you, Sonny.
Nick: Thank you, Sonny.
Gabi: Why'd you have to do that?
Nick: Because maybe he can get Chad to leave you alone.
Gabi: All right, and what if Chad tells Sonny about Andrew and me, all right? What happened to Melanie was all my fault. All right, Sonny's gonna hate me, and then he's gonna tell Will.
Nick: Who--who cares about those guys?
Gabi: I do.
Nick: Look, baby, Chad isn't gonna tell anything to anyone, because if he does, he knows he can go to jail for assaulting me. Hey, come here, come here. [Sighs] God, I hate Chad for doing this to you. I'm sorry. Your breakfast is getting cold.
Sami: Why are you being like this? It was just a stupid phone call.
Rafe: Oh, you want to know why? Because it sounded like you needed me. And I was hoping that was true.
Sami: I'm not the one with the problem. But I can't tell you that.
[Cell phone rings]
Sami: Hey, Hernandez. It's Brady here.
Rafe: Sami? I didn't recognize the number.
Sami: I'm at work.
Rafe: Okay. What's up?
Sami: Look, I, um--I'd really like to talk to you about something, but I-I can't leave here, so I was wondering if you could come by here.
Rafe: Sure. When's good?
Sami: Actually, now would be great, if that's okay with you.
John: Excuse me, I'm gonna get the New York papers. I will be right back.
[Cell phone rings]
Marlena: Mm. John! [Sighs] Girlfriend, you got to get another ploy. This one just isn't going to work for you.
Kristen: John, it's Kristen, again. Uh, Brady's still in the hospital, but he's threatening to leave, against doctor's orders, and maybe you could come here and talk him out of it or give him a ride or something, because obviously he's not going to take one from me. So could you please just call me back and let me know that you got this message? Thank you--I'd appreciate it.
Brady: He didn't pick up?
Kristen: Well, obviously not.
Brady: Well, good.
Marlena: [Sighs] Honey, I don't care what you say... she's obsessed with you. But since you feel you don't have to see her or talk to her again...
Kristen: Hopefully your dad will get this message before you do something stupid.
Brady: [Sighs] Can you--can you throw me my shirt, please?
Kristen: Get your own damn shirt.
[Phone thuds on the table]
Brady: [Exhales sharply]
Kristen: Oh, God. Are you okay?
Abe: Oh, thank you.
Kayla: There you are. So, listen, no matter when my mom and Bo get home, you and Theo are coming for Thanksgiving, all right?
Abe: Thank you very much. That helps.
Hope: Is something wrong?
Abe: You know, Theo's teachers are a little worried about him. He doesn't talk very much, especially about his mother. And I-I know that autistic kids tend to withdraw from their feelings.
Kayla: And you're afraid that he's withdrawing from you.
Abe: Hey, um, you know this treatment that Caroline's going to get? Can it make a difference?
Kayla: Well, her doctor says so. We're hoping. Um, listen, it's gonna get busy here, so I should--I should get back to work.
Abe: I don't know how you do it.
Kayla: Uh, well, I think, uh, I have good help. [Chuckles]
Hope: Oh, Nick's working out?
Kayla: You know, better than I could imagine. You know, Mom was right in hiring him. And as soon as people meet him, they don't care about his past, including Gabi, I might say.
Hope: Are they an item?
Kayla: I think maybe so. Seems like there's love in the air.
Nick: I'm so sorry that, uh, food made you sick.
Gabi: It's not your fault. I just probably have, like, a 24-hour bug or something.
Nick: Yeah. Well, just, uh, take it easy. I'll--I'll pick up your shifts at the pub.
Gabi: Thank you. You're really sweet.
Nick: Okay. Oh. I don't want to catch what you've got... otherwise neither of us will be working at the pub.
Nick: All right, well, uh-- well, get some rest and let me know if you need anything, okay?
Nick: I love you.
Gabi: [Sighs] Trust me, you can't catch what I've got. I just wish I could tell you.
[Knock at door]
Gabi: Oh, who is it? Oh, Will, I'm so glad to see you.
Kristen: Sure, sure. You're good to go. Wait a second--hold on.
Brady: I just got dizzy. I'm fine. I'm good.
Kristen: Okay, do you still want to leave? Let me get that for you.
Brady: No, I think I should stick around for a little while maybe.
Kristen: Yeah. [Grunts] That's a good idea.
Brady: Thank you for that.
Brady: I could have done that myself, though.
Kristen: Wow. You are just a chip off the old block, aren't you?
Brady: [Grunts] What's that supposed to mean, Kristen?
Kristen: That you're just as hardheaded as your father.
Brady: I didn't ask you to be here. And I don't need a character evaluation from you, all right?
Kristen: Fine. Then you can just take your pants off by yourself. And you know what? I guess I'm gonna have to go out there and get you another carafe, since you broke this one. And I'll fill it full of water, and then I'm out of here.
Brady: Thank you... for--for helping me just now. And thank you for getting me here last night, all right?
Kristen: Sure. I would have done the same thing for anybody that got between me and two muggers.
Brady: You want to know what would make us square?
Brady: Promise me you'll leave my family alone.
Kristen: Would you please just shut up?
Marlena: Mmm, mmm.
John: You know what I was thinking? After breakfast, why don't you and I--
[Cell phone rings]
Marlena: Ooh! Don't you wish for the good old days when we could actually escape our phones? Honey, I'm sorry.
John: Those days are gone.
Marlena: Oh, dear. It's the hospital. I've got to take it, sorry.
Marlena: Dr. Evans.
Cameron: Dr. Evans, it's Cameron Davis.
Marlena: Well, hi. What can I do for you?
Cameron: I'm treating a patient of yours--a Mr. Oswald.
Marlena: Is he all right?
Cameron: Uh, yeah, I'm treating him for an ulcer, and he really needs to stick to his diet. But he keeps sneaking food from a stash he brought in. Can you talk to him?
Marlena: I'll be there as soon as I can.
Cameron: At least the trip won't be all business. Your stepson's on the same floor.
Cameron: Brady Black. He was admitted last night.
Cameron: He tried to stop someone from getting mugged. He took a blow to the head, and he has a concussion, but he's doing fine.
Marlena: We'll be right there.
John: What's going on?
Marlena: He's okay. Brady's in the hospital.
John: Since when?
Marlena: Since last night. Apparently, he tried to stop a mugging... has a concussion.
John: I can't believe this. Why the hell didn't somebody give us a call? For crying out loud. Come on, let's go. When you spend more days than not ...living under a rock.
John: It's ridiculous.
Cameron: Boy, am I glad to see you. I think Mr. Oswald's ulcer may have perforated, but he won't swallow the barium milkshake. If I can't get an upper G.I., then--
Marlena: Okay, take me to him--I'll get it handled.
John: Cam, how is my son?
Cameron: He'll be fine. But whoever hit him, hit him hard. Um, he's lucky he didn't get subdural hematoma.
John: Where's his room?
Cameron: Right back here.
Marlena: I'll meet you there right away.
Cameron: All right, let's go.
[Knock at door]
John: You all right, kid?
Brady: I'm fine. I'm fine. They're just keeping here as a precaution.
John: Oh, yeah? What the hell happened?
Brady: [Sighs] I saw a, uh, woman getting mugged, and I intervened, and it didn't occur to me that the guy had a partner behind him.
John: [Sighs] There's always two.
John: Why didn't you call me?
Brady: 'Cause I knew I was getting out today.
John: I'm talking about last night. Why didn't you call me right after it happened?
Brady: [Sighs] I was unconscious.
Abe: Wow. That is amazing, Theo.
Kayla: He can do anything with that tablet.
[Abe and Kayla chuckle]
Ciara: Do you wish your mom could see you do that?
Theo: She can see me.
Ciara: I thought she was in heaven.
Theo: She is. But I can talk to her, and I show her what I can do.
Ciara: How do you know she can hear you?
Theo: Because she told me she could.
Abe: When do you talk to your mother, Theo?
Theo: After you kiss me good night. I turn my lights back on. Are you mad?
Abe: No. [Smooches] No, sweetheart, I'm not mad. I'm glad you have a time when you feel you can talk to your mother and be close to her. And you have a good friend like Ciara.
Kristen: If I hadn't caught him, he would have fallen.
Cameron: And hit his head again.
Kristen: Yes! So can't you please tie him to the bed? I'm serious. Just tie him to the bed.
Cameron: No. But I'll check him, and I'll alert the nursing staff to be on the lookout.
Kristen: Okay, thank you.
Cameron: You got it.
Marlena: Mr. Oswald has agreed to cooperate.
Cameron: Thank you so much. You know, your stepson was very lucky. If that blow to his head had been a half inch to the left, his father would be visiting him in the morgue right now.
Marlena: Excuse me. I'm in a hurry.
Kristen: Well, I know. You must be so worried about Brady, right?
Marlena: How do you know about this?
Kristen: I'm the one that brought him in.
Marlena: Oh. Well... thank you for doing that.
Kristen: Well, what else could I do? I mean, I was about to get mugged, and he came to my rescue. You know what's really strange, though? I've been calling John since last night. For some reason... he's not returning my calls.
Sami: Thank you. Thank you, um, for coming by.
Rafe: Sure. Nice office.
Rafe: I guess cosmetics is big business, huh?
Sami: [Chuckles nervously] Yeah, you'd be amazed what people will pay for the "natural look." Have a seat, please. Sit.
Rafe: So I'm guessing that this has something to do with the message you left me last night.
Rafe: But you're not gonna backpedal on me this time.
Sami: No, I'm not. I thought it over, and... I'm gonna tell you the truth.
Will: Did you sleep at all last night?
Will: Yeah, me neither.
Gabi: Sonny was here.
Will: Really? What did you say? Did you tell him?
Gabi: [Chuckles] Uh... no, Will. I wouldn't do that, okay? He just said that he, um--he knew I had a big problem, and he offered to help.
Will: That's sweet. There's nothing he could do.
Gabi: Well, I mean, I don't think he would have offered if he knew that his boyfriend knocked me up.
Will: Yeah, sorry. I don't know. When I think about what I did...
Gabi: It wasn't just you.
Will: Well, I was raised by a mom who told me that a man has as much responsibility for birth control as a woman.
Gabi: Yeah, well, you know, we both took the same amount of responsibility, all right?
Will: Yeah, none.
Gabi: Exactly. [Sighs] At least I understand why, you know, I've been--I've been waking up, like, nauseous.
Will: Oh, you have morning sickness?
Gabi: Yeah, really bad. And Nick was just here. He thinks I have the stomach flu.
Will: Oh. What's he gonna think when he finds out the truth? What's Sonny gonna think?
Gabi: You know, we could lose both of them over this dumb mistake.
Will: Yeah, I think you're gonna be on your own there, because if my mom finds out, I think she'll actually murder me.
Gabi: Look, I've... I've always wanted to be a mom, but... not like this, not like-- not now. I can't...
Will: You know, I was--I was thinking on the way over here. And I think that maybe there's one thing we could do.
Will: It's probably--it's not the perfect thing, but it might be the right thing.
Gabi: Okay, yeah, what is it?
Will: You want to get married?
Abe: Thank you. You know, I had no idea that Theo was talking to Ciara about Lexie.
Kayla: Well, that's kids for you.
Abe: Hey, how's Joey doing?
Kayla: He's okay. He misses his dad... and his grandma. [Chuckles]
Abe: Yeah. I know it's got to be tough.
Abe: You know, I worry that... I don't have the connection with Theo the way Lexie did.
Kayla: Well, you're not going to. And you can't expect that. It's a sad situation. And you and Theo have a long road ahead.
Abe: Yeah. Yeah, we do.
Kayla: I can tell you one thing, though. Lexie would be so proud of you.
Will: You're not saying anything.
Gabi: Yeah, um, that's because it kind of, um... you think that we should get married?
Will: If you want to.
Gabi: Yeah, great. That's the proposal everybody wants. [Laughs]
Gabi: I'm sorry. I'm sorry I'm laughing.
Will: No, that's okay. It was a crazy idea.
Gabi: I know you're trying to be noble, and--and you think that this is the right thing to do, but--but for us, I don't think this is the right thing.
Gabi: Look, you know I love you, right? But I'm in love with Nick.
Will: Yeah, I know. I don't know why, but I know that's how you feel.
Gabi: And you're in love with Sonny.
Will: Look, I just want you to know that you are never gonna be alone in this. Growing up... my mom was alone a lot of the time. And I saw how hard that was on her. I'm never gonna let that happen to you... because this is my child, and I want to be there every step of the way.
Gabi: You know my mom's always telling me how proud she is of me for staying in school? And if I tell her I'm pregnant, she's never gonna tell me that ever again. If I drop out, like, for one semester to have the baby, I'm gonna lose my scholarship.
Will: It's okay. Well, I can quit school, and I can get a job.
Gabi: Yeah, I guess I could just become a full-time waitress. [Sighs]
Will: Our lives are never gonna be the same... especially after the baby is born. But what else can we do?
Gabi: Will, you know perfectly well, as I do, that there are other things we can do.
Marlena: If you'll excuse me, I want to see how Brady's doing.
Kristen: Well, Marlena, I'm hoping that things won't be so strained between us now... well, because Sami's not working for me anymore.
Marlena: Sami's always been very good at handling difficult situations.
Kristen: But you and I both know that this was hard for you. I'm just wanting to prove that I'm not here to make any trouble. Can't you see how hard I'm trying?
Marlena: I don't know what game you're playing, but I'm not falling for it... and neither is John. And I'm done wasting my time on you.
John: Did you get a good look at these guys?
Marlena: Hey. This is what happens when you behave like Sir Galahad, hmm?
Brady: Oh, I'm fine.
Marlena: Oh, thank God you're all right.
Brady: I'm fine. I'm fine. As soon as I get out of here, I'll be even better.
John: Brady was just telling us what happened.
Cameron: I hope he mentioned that he was a real hero. He may have saved Kristen DiMera's life. Let's take a look there, hero. Head's up. All right, look straight ahead. Everything looks fine, but I hear you got dizzy when you stood up.
Brady: No, it was--it was no big deal.
John: The woman you saved was Kristen DiMera?
Brady: I didn't--I didn't save her, all right? I just happened to be there at the right time.
Cameron: Uh, I'm going to check the results of your scan. Make him sit tight till I get back.
Marlena: Oh, sure, because we're-- you heard what he said. Just--just-- John, I've got to talk to you outside, privately. It's really important.
John: Just a second.
John: I need to get this straight. You get knocked unconscious coming to Kristen's rescue? And she doesn't have the decency to call me to tell me my son's in the hospital? What the hell's the matter with her?
Brady: That's now how it was.
Marlena: It's important that I tell you what happened.
Kristen: I did call you.
Hope: Hi. How are you?
Nick: I'm good. I'm good.
Nick: H-how's, uh--how's Mrs. Brady?
Hope: Uh, fingers crossed. We're hoping that she and Bo might be able to come back sooner than we thought.
Nick: Oh, that's--that's great.
Hope: Yeah, it is. It's--it's really great. I had some other great news today, too, from your parole officer.
Nick: Oh, yeah?
Hope: I'm very proud of all the adjustments you've been making.
Nick: Well, I never could have done it without people like--like you and Aunt Maggie.
Hope: I heard some other, um--I heard something via the grapevine, that, um--I'm not prying.
Hope: But, um, there's someone new in your life.
Nick: Yeah, uh, there is. I've, uh--I've kind of been waiting for somebody like Gabi my entire life.
Nick: Yeah, yeah. She's amazing. She's amazing. She's so real and--I don't know. She's kind of the best thing that's ever happened to me.
Hope: Nick, this is so great. I'm so happy for you.
Nick: Thank you, Hope. But, um, actually, I have to ask you to--to keep it quiet.
Hope: What? Why?
Nick: Well, uh, I know you work with her brother Rafe at the station. And Gabi said... he can be a little overprotective. So, uh, she just doesn't want him to know about us, not yet, anyway.
Rafe: I've been worried about you ever since we talked. It's EJ, isn't it?
Sami: No. No, it's not. It's not about me at all, which is, um, what makes this so hard to talk about.
Rafe: Okay, who's it about?
Sami: Okay, um... it's about Gabi.
Sami: She made me promise not to say anything. But you're her brother, and you are the kind of brother that you are, and... I think it's right that you know.
Gabi: I was just laying in bed last night, and I was thinking... about every possible solution for this.
Gabi: And then I got up and did some research. Will, I think... I think this is the best... [Sighs] Solution... for everybody.
Will: An abortion?
