Sami: EJ, we... I can't, I--just...
EJ: What? Is something wrong?
Sami: Everything. [Sighs]
Rafe: Hey, Brady.
Brady: Hey. Hey, man, have a--have a seat.
Rafe: Thanks. Hey, listen, I'm actually glad I ran into you. Heard about Madison. I'm sorry.
Brady: Thank you. Appreciate that. And, um, I'm sorry for you too.
Brady: Yeah, I know I'm not the only one sittin' here that's lost someone.
Daniel: Hey, Maggie, it's me. Just curious if Melanie said anything to you about how things went with Marlena. Uh, also, totally off topic--a friend of mine's going to be looking for a place to stay pretty soon. I just wanna run a couple ideas by you, okay? Anyway, I'm gonna to, uh...be off soon, so give me a call when you can. All right, thanks.
Cameron: All right. Mr. Keller in 405 has been sedated. Mrs. Lafferty in 413 has been cleared for solids.
Cameron: And, uh, I just adjusted the IV drip on Mrs. McCormick in 419, so I'm outta here.
Daniel: All right. Uh, you know, I--I meant to ask you, have you heard from Abigail?
Cameron: Yeah. Actually, she texted me about a half an hour ago, when, uh, she and Jennifer landed at the airport.
Daniel: Oh, they already came back from California?
Cameron: Yeah, in fact, uh, they should be getting back to the house right about now.
Jennifer: Jack. I hope you're at peace, my love.
Abigail: Mom. Someone's here to see you.
Will: I'm sorry.
Jennifer: Hi, Will.
Will: I'm so sorry.
Sonny: It's been really rough.
Adrienne: It was, it was. But Jennifer and Abigail were very strong. I was very proud of them. [Chuckles] Your Uncle Steve was there. He said to send his best.
Sonny: Yeah, yeah. I wish I could've been there too, you know?
Adrienne: I know. How is everything with you?
Sonny: [Sighs] Um, why do you ask?
Adrienne: Well, I see and heard that things got a little heated.
Sonny: Yeah, you talked to dad.
Adrienne: What, you thought he wasn't going to tell me? You got in a fight. You okay?
Sonny: I'm fine. You should see the other guy.
Brian: All right, seriously, just stop falling for it. [Laughs]
Sonny: That's the first time you ever done that.
Brian: Yeah, but now that I know it works...[Clears throat] Game over.
Sonny: Game over?
Adrienne: Sonny, are you going to introduce me to your friend?
Sami: I, um, I can't.
EJ: What's wrong? I mean, is it me? Do--do you feel like I'm--I'm pressuring you somehow?
Sami: No, no, it's not that. I just--just it's, uh, overwhelming, you know? A little overwhelming. [Sighs]
EJ: Okay. Why don't we take our time? There really isn't any rush, you know, it's just you and me, just like it was in the safe house.
Sami: [Laughs] That was a lifetime ago, EJ.
EJ: Well, I was rather hoping... that we could pick up where we left off--
Sami: Okay, okay, we can't, okay? I can't. I'm sorry.
Will: Is your mom okay? Aw, I'm sorry, that was a stupid question.
Abigail: [Laughs] Um, no, it's fine. No, she's, um, just having a hard time, of course. But, you know, she's really strong.
Will: Yeah. How about you though? I mean, I--I can't even imagine, you know.
Abigail: I'm all right. I have to be, for her, I mean.
Will: Yeah. I'm sorry, look, I-I-if you wanna be alone, I don't wanna--
Abigail: No, no--I don't, please. I wanna talk to you, so...stay.
EJ: Samantha, I--listen, I just--I thought--
Sami: I know, believe me, I know what you thought.
EJ: Be honest with me. Are you, um, are you not attracted to me anymore?
Sami: No, no, it's not that. Of course--stop it, you-- don't put words in my mouth! That's not what I'm saying. I'm just--you know, when we were in the safe house... [Sighs]
Sami: It wasn't real. It--it wasn't real.
EJ: It was--it was entirely real.
Sami: No, we--
EJ: Yes, it was.
Sami: You know what I mean.
EJ: No, I have no idea what you mean.
Sami: Don't you think that-- oh, God, how that felt, what--what happened, the intensity had to do with the fact that you just saved my life and that we were on the run from the police?
EJ: Oh, I see. So you're saying you shouldn't have come away with me, is that right?
Sami: No, I'm not saying that. I--I'm glad I came, and you know that. I--I'm home now, and there are things that I have to deal with.
EJ: Okay, okay. I mean, why don't you just, um, be direct with me, Samantha? If your feelings have changed for me since you came home, then just tell me.
Sonny: Mom, this is my friend, Brian. Brian, this is my lovely mother, obviously.
Brian: It's a pleasure to meet you, Mrs. Kiriakis.
Adrienne: You too, Brian.
Sonny: Why don't you grab us a couple lattes on the house?
Adrienne: On the house?
Adrienne: Even I don't get that kind of special treatment.
Adrienne: I'm kidding. Gah--I-I'm--you know I'm kidding, right, Brian?
Brian: Well, now I do. I was gonna say charging your mom for coffee is pretty low.
Sonny: Just go, go! Get us some lattes.
Adrienne: Hmm. Your friend seems really nice.
Sonny: Yeah, he's a--he's a good guy.
Adrienne: Well, I--I won't get in your way, I'm just gonna go have my coffee--
Sonny: Oh, no, no, no, no. Come--you can join us.
Adrienne: Oh, no, no, no, no! Honey--honey, I brought a book. I'm good, I'm good. I'm just gonna sit and have a cup--
Sonny: Are you sure?
Adrienne: I'm sure, I'm sure.
Sonny: Okay. [Sighs] [Clears throat]
Will: I'm sorry. I, uh--I had--there's no excuse.
Abigail: Hey! I told you I'm not upset with you. I only wanna know why.
Will: You know, I-I-I-- I--I don't wanna talk about me, you know? I wanna talk about you, and what--
Abigail: Okay, Will. Um, I've talked about myself a lot these past few days. And if there's one thing my dad hated, it was when anyone felt bad for him. I'm the same way. So tell me about you, please.
Abigail: Will. Hey, everything's okay, isn't it?
Jennifer: I know, I know, it was really good seeing you too, sweetheart. You know, you looked so handsome, just like your dad. [Laughs] No, I know, I know. Okay, I love you too. Yeah, yeah, I'll see you soon. Coming home was supposed to be the easy part.
Billie: Would leaning on an old friend help?
Jennifer: Oh, Billie.
Rafe: Oh, I guess you heard that I arrested Sami.
Brady: Mm-mm. No, no, no, I--I was referring to Carrie.
Rafe: Oh, right.
Brady: My--my dad told me that, uh, she went back to Switzerland with Austin, right?
Rafe: Yeah, yeah, she did.
Brady: Well, I know you--I know you cared about her, that must've ripped you up a little bit, right?
Rafe: Well, that was...the best decision for her and her family. But what about you? You okay?
Brady: I'm dealing with things.
Rafe: Yeah, but--
Brady: Rafe, I'm not using anymore, if--if you were wondering. I'm not. Done.
Rafe: I believe you.
Brady: Okay, I just--it would probably be one of the most disrespectful things I could do to Madison's memory, given that she, uh, she helped me get clean in the first place. So I'm done with it, all right?
Rafe: I'm sure she'd be proud to hear that and proud to know she's still helping you, even though...
Brady: She kind of is. She--she--I haven't let go of her. I mean, she's still--she's still in my heart, she's in my mind, and sh-- I'm having a hard time letting go. I really am.
Sami: [Sighs] No, my feelings about us haven't changed.
EJ: Okay, well, then, Samantha, just--just tell me what I can say. Tell me what I can do to make life easier for you.
Sami: I don't need you to make life easier for me, EJ. I have to focus on the kids. I have to make them feel comfortable that I'm not gonna just take off again in the middle of the night. My kids are the most important thing in the world to me, and I have to do what's best for them.
EJ: Okay, but, Samantha, I--I know that. And you do, you always do, in exactly the same way that I do. You know, we both put our children first. Uh--uh--I--you know, I think that goes without saying.
Sami: You're right, it does. It goes without saying. But I--[Sighs] I just--I let them think we were going to have a family, okay? With--with Lucas, and we were all planning for that. And whether you like it or not, they were happy about it. And then, you know, now, it's not gonna happen. And I can't just turn around and--and--and jump into something with--with you. The kids wouldn't understand.
EJ: The children wouldn't understand?
EJ: Are you sure all this understanding isn't for somebody else's benefit?
Will: Okay. Um, all right. I will talk. You know, um, I didn't really get a chance to, you know, control how I came out. I mean, you saw the papers and the--the gossip columns. Those were fun.
Abigail: Those people are stupid, Will. Insensitive and stupid.
Will: Oh, I know, thank you. And it's not--I didn't care. It just kinda wasn't, um, the way that I was planning on sharing the good news with everybody.
Abigail: But you'd been to a gay bar, right? So you'd come out to some extent?
Will: Yes. Um, but just to a couple people, so I wasn't ready to come out to everybody.
Abigail: Oh. Well, who'd you tell first?
Will: My grandma. [Laughs]
Will: No, although she actually knew already. Um, I was talking about Marlena.
Abigail: Oh. How'd she take it?
Will: Great. Amazing, just like always. You know, what's funny is that it was such, like, a huge event for me, and then it was, like, a non-event for her, you know? It was like nothing changed. She--she hugged me. She was, like, "oh, I love you," and, you know--
Abigail: Will! Why would anything change? I hate to break this to you, but you are still the same person that you've always been.
Will: I don't know, am I though? I--I just feel like--sometimes I feel like I--I didn't get a chance to figure out what being gay meant before I kinda had to try to explain it to everybody else.
Abigail: So... how do you feel now? Different, not different?
Will: Um, I feel... I don't know. I--I guess a--a part of me has changed.
Abigail: Are you talking about your heart?
Will: I don't know, maybe--
Abigail: Will, have you met someone?
Sonny: I think my mom really likes you.
Brian: It's all part of my master plan to, you know, wear you down into going out with me. See, first, I start with your mom, I win her over. And then your dad. Do you have a dog?
Sonny: I don't, no.
Brian: Damn! See, I usually do really well with family pets, so...
Sonny: You were so close.
Jennifer: I just--I just needed to get out of the house. It was too quiet.
Billie: Aw, I understand. How are the kids?
Jennifer: Uh, they're completely traumatized. I mean, the suddenness of--of all of it. And JJ's so funny. He's just like Jack, you know? His heart is breaking. But he's trying to be so strong and so brave. And Abigail is--is my sweet angel. She's just asking me how I am, do I need anything, uh, "do you need to talk, Mom?"
Billie: Oh, that's so sweet. I love you.
Jennifer: I love you too, Billie.
Billie: [Sighs] It'll be okay.
Jennifer: Yeah, it'll be okay. Thanks, okay?
Billie: We'll talk later.
Jennifer: Mm-hmm. Oh, hey.
Sami: I am focusing on me, EJ, and being the best mother that I can be to my children. [Sighs] I mean, for once in my life, I am actually going to attempt to display some maturity here. And, for a change of pace, I am not gonna jump into something that I am not ready for. [Sighs]
EJ: Samantha... is this about Carrie?
EJ: I mean, is her leaving town part of what's bothering you?
Sami: No! No! She's decided to recommit to Austin, and she's gonna live happily ever after with him, the man that she's loved her whole life.
EJ: She was just having a relationship with Rafe.
Sami: Well, it was hardly a relationship. She was bored with her perfect life for five minutes. But now she's not bored. Now she wants it back. Now she wants to have her baby with Austin and live happily ever after. And I am very happy for them. And if I ever decide that I want to mend fences with the Swiss Miss, I will send her "fresh start" flowers.
EJ: [Laughs] Okay. I suppose it's probably for the best. I mean, Rafe is, after all, having a baby with Nicole.
Sami: Wait a second. Since when did you take that lightly--get so cavalier about, um, Rafe being Nicole's baby daddy?
EJ: Mm... I don't think we should talk about this.
Sami: Oh, no, you don't. I wanna talk about it. You thought Nicole's baby was yours. What's changed?
Abigail: So...is there someone or not?
Will: Uh, yes, there is somebody.
Will: And I don't know, I just--I think that, you know, I think I care about him.
Abigail: You think you care about him, or you do?
Will: I think--I do, I do.
Abigail: Okay, so what's the problem?
Abigail: You haven't told him that you like him yet?
Will: Oh, God, no. Um, I haven't--I couldn't--I barely told him I was gay. You know, I--and I've sent this--so many mixed signals to the guy, it's like he--I'm sure he doesn't know what to think about me. Except that I obviously don't know what I want or that I'm not, you know, comfortable with myself.
Abigail: Well, if you can tell me how you feel... then why can't you tell him?
Will: Mm. [Laughs]
Will: Oh, sorry. Um...I'm so sorry. Is it okay if I just make a call real quick?
Abigail: Yeah, yeah, that's fine--
Will: I'm so sorry.
Abigail: No, it's okay.
Will: Thank you so much for--for listening to my problems, I--
Will: Okay. And seriously, if you ever--I mean, I'll be back. But, you know, if you ever wanna talk to me or any--
Abigail: I know where to find you, Will. Same goes for you, by the way.
Will: Okay, okay, I'll be back.
Cameron: Hey, Will.
Will: Hey, Cameron.
Cameron: Hi. How are you?
Abigail: Better now that you're here.
EJ: Well, Nicole is still saying that it's Rafe's baby. And--and until I can prove otherwise, it's, um...
EJ: Yeah. But, um, I--take that.
Sami: Oh. Hey!
Will: Hey! Uh, I--I heard that EJ, uh, was released, is that true?
Sami: Yeah, actually, he's, uh, standing right here with me. It's Will.
EJ: Mm. William.
Will: Hey. Why did they finally let you out?
EJ: What can I do for you, William?
Will: Um, I was hoping, actually, did you have time to meet up? Because I--I was hoping I could talk to you about something important.
EJ: Um, uh, absolutely. Okay, I'll meet you there. Uh, your son wishes to talk to me. Apparently, it's about something important.
Sami: Mm, then go.
EJ: Okay. And, uh, we'll continue this conversation later.
Brian: You ever heard of Magic Coach?
Brian: Basically, they're this killer indie band. And they happen to be playing a show down by the Riverfront. I think we should go.
Adrienne: Oh, gosh, Victor. Victor, hi!
Victor: Justin told me about your trip to California. So sorry for the passing of your brother. Very tragic.
Adrienne: It was, thank you. So what brings you down here?
Victor: Oh, well, don't tell Henderson, but they make better espresso than he does.
Adrienne: Oh, I'm sorry. Mum's the word. I won't--mm.
Victor: I also wanted to check on my nephew. Ah, there he is. And who's that with him?
Adrienne: A friend. Please be nice.
Will: Well, I'm just glad that you and mom are okay. And for the record, I never thought that you were guilty.
EJ: Certainly didn't hurt that they found Stefano alive.
Will: Yeah. So you're a DiMera again. I heard that the letter was forged.
EJ: Oh. I see bad news travels fast.
Will: I--I thought you'd be-- bad news? I thought you'd be, you know, excited about being, I don't know, a real DiMera again.
EJ: William, I am my own man.
Will: Okay. You know what's funny? Ever since I started working for you, that's kind of how I felt.
EJ: I noticed.
Will: And, um-- and I'm sorry, but I, uh, cannot work for you anymore.
EJ: You're quitting?
Will: Yes. I just thought that, um-- I've been so wrapped up in, you know, you and your life, that I've kinda been ignoring my life. And, uh, you know, that's not healthy. So I think that, that needs to change.
Brian: I'll tell you what. I'll head over and see if they have any tickets left.
Sonny: Well, I haven't actually said that I would go--
Victor: Hi, Sonny.
Sonny: Uncle Vic! Uh, this is my friend Brian. Brian, this is my Uncle Victor, and he's the last member of the family who should be showing up today. [Laughs]
Brian: Nice to meet you, sir.
Victor: You as well.
Brian: I'll be back.
Victor: So I hear somebody gave you a fat lip.
Sonny: Yes. Uh, but I gave him a fatter one back.
Victor: Oh! Well, good for you. Glad to hear you can handle yourself.
Sonny: Like a man?
Victor: Like a Kiriakis.
Sonny: What, did you have doubts?
Victor: Not in the least. So that, uh, young man.
Sonny: Uh--oh, Brian.
Sonny: Brian, yeah.
Victor: Seems very nice.
Sonny: He is...very nice.
Victor: Good-looking fellow too.
Sonny: [Laughs] Yes, yes.
Victor: [Laughs] I'll just order my espresso.
Sonny: All right, see you later, Uncle Vic. [Sighs]
Rafe: I loved you... so much. Why'd you have to throw it all away?
Lucas: I love you, and I wanna spend the rest of my life with you. So it's either me or EJ. Let me know when you've made up your mind.
Sami: What the hell is wrong with you, Sami? You know what? For once in my life, I am going to concentrate on what is really important.
Rafe: [Indistinct muttering] Damn it, my phone. Oh, must've left it in the pub.
Will: So I hope you can understand. Um, and I can ex--explain further--
EJ: It's, uh, it's--it's okay. You don't need to explain. You've obviously made your decision, and, uh, I respect that.
Will: Okay. What--but I do want you to know though that, um, uh, I have learned a lot from you and that I really do value the time that we spend together.
EJ: Well, I, um--I really appreciate you saying that. And I would like to say that, uh, despite a somewhat, uh, rocky start to our relationship and a somewhat, uh, complicated history...
EJ: I have really become to appreciate you much more as a friend than an employee.
Will: Thank you, that--
EJ: Look, uh, William, uh, what you did for me, without question, helping your mother and me escape from the police, I will always be extremely grateful.
Will: So, um, what are you gonna do now?
EJ: Professionally? Oh...[Laughs] No idea, really. I suppose I'll just wait and see how things play out. You know, my first priority really is--well, the same as yours. Just getting my house in order. Sounds trite, I know, but...
Will: No, no, not at all. That's important, making a good life for, you know, your kids.
EJ: Yeah, I mean, Sydney and Johnny are my priority. And, um, I'd like to focus on my family. You know, William, I'd very much like it if I could involve your mother in that.
Will: What do you mean? Involve...my mother, like you and her, involved?
EJ: You don't seem to think that's a good idea.
Will: No, that's never gonna work.
EJ: How do you feel about my relationship with your mother?
Will: You don't have a relationship with my mother--
EJ: No, I don't, but I'm trying to rebuild one--
Will: But why? Honestly, why?
EJ: I would've thought that would be perfectly obvious.
Will: No. It's not, not to me.
EJ: Frankly, William, this really isn't any of your business--
Will: Any of my business? Yes, it is. She's my mom. Your kids together are my brother and sister. I've been thinking about this a lot. And every time you guys get together, one, or both, of you gets hurt. And I don't wanna see that anymore. And my mom, no offense, I love her to death, but she has failed relationships. With my dad and with you, you know? And with Rafe, even, who I-I-I thought that was going to work. And then, you know, you guys... had sex, and then you, you know, kinda messed that up.
EJ: Okay, look, would you rather that she were alone?
Will: I don't know. Maybe. What's wrong with being alone? The--the point is that--that every time you guys get together, you break up, and it doesn't end well. So why do you think that this time is gonna be any different?
EJ: Well, uh, I appreciate your honesty. Thank you.
Will: God, okay. Well, you're--you're welcome. Anyway, just make sure that you're honest with yourself 'cause I don't wanna see you get hurt.
Victor: Brady, how are ya?
Brady: I'm fine, thank you. Do you have a minute to talk?
Victor: I do. What's on your mind?
Brady: Ian's gone, and that son of a bitch is never coming back, which means Titan needs a stronger leader, someone to right the wrongs that he inflicted on the company.
Victor: I see. And you think you're capable of being that leader?
Brady: You're damn right, I do.
Adrienne: Oh, Will! Hey! Hey, there.
Adrienne: Hey, sweetie.
Will: Good to see you.
Adrienne: Mmm, good to see you too.
Will: Um, listen, I'm--I'm sorry about, uh, your brother.
Adrienne: Oh, I--I appreciate that, thank you.
Will: Okay. And I'm sorry I didn't, um, make it to the memorial, I--
Adrienne: Oh, no, sweetie, no, I know. I know you had to take care of your brother and your sister. It's okay, really. [Sighs] So how have you been?
Will: Oh, I'm great, thank you.
Adrienne: Good, good.
Will: Um, how's Sonny?
Adrienne: He's good. He's, um--he's actually with a friend right now. Um, maybe you know him. Brian?
Sonny: On my lip too?
Will: Yes, I do, actually, sort of--sort of.
Adrienne: What's he like? I mean, is he a nice guy? Is he...cool? [Laughs]
Will: [Laughs] Um...yeah, I think so. Yeah, why, why do you ask?
Adrienne: Well, he and Sonny seem to be hitting it off. And, um...I'm just glad Sonny finally has someone in his life, you know?
Will: Yeah. Me too, that's good for Sonny.
Adrienne: I gotta get going. I got a little shopping to do.
Will: Okay, bye.
Adrienne: Good to see you.
Will: Good to see you.
Adrienne: Take care!
Will: Thank you, you too.
Brian: Good news. They had tickets left, and they're amazing seats. [Sighs] And you're not sure if you wanna go. At least not with me.
Sonny: No, no, that's--that's not it at all--
Brian: See, here's the thing, Sonny. If you're still hung up on Will, do something about it, or you will lose out.
Daniel: I wanted to call you and try to reach out to you, and I just didn't--I didn't know what to say.
Jennifer: No, it's okay. I mean...no one does. You know, not really. I-I wouldn't know what to say.
Daniel: So I heard--I heard you just got back from, uh, California.
Jennifer: Yeah, we did. We, um, spread Jack's ashes, uh, off the Coast of Big Sur. His dad used to bring him there when he was a little boy, his adopted father. They would go there as a family for summer vacations. And it was so crazy 'cause we had talked about doing that recently and, um-- I'm sorry. Sorry.
Daniel: It's okay. I understand.
Jennifer: Yeah, you do, don't you? Wherever your summer takes you...
Cameron: So--[Clears throat] I know you're probably exhausted from traveling--
Cameron: But I have tomorrow off and--
Abigail: I would love to go out with you tomorrow.
Cameron: How did you know that's what I was gonna ask you?
Abigail: Oh. I'm sorry, what were you going to ask me?
Cameron: If you wanted to go out with me tomorrow.
Cameron: But now, are--are you sure you're up for it?
Abigail: Yeah. Yeah, I'M...tired of feeling sad all the time. And I think that my dad would've wanted me to have some fun.
Cameron: With me?
Abigail: Sure. Why not?
Jennifer: I've explained every day how Jack has--has died. And, um, I-I've gotten okay with that, you know? I feel like I'm just reciting a story. And then here, I talk about Big Sur and how much he enjoyed that, and that's what gets me.
Daniel: Yeah, there'll be a lot of things that, um, could get you. It'll catch you by surprise sometimes. You'll think you're--you're doing fine, and then there'll be some memory or something that he said that will just... it's hard. It's--it's really hard. I'm sorry. Uh, Jennifer, if there's--if there's anything I can do--
Jennifer: Thank you.
Daniel: Jen, I'm not just saying that.
Jennifer: I know you're not. I just wouldn't--I wouldn't even know what to ask for.
Daniel: I understand. I'll let you be.
Victor: So you wanna come back to Titan, eh? What does your father think about that?
Brady: He said he would kindly let me out of my contract at Basic Black, if that's what I wanted.
Victor: Is it?
Brady: It is.
Victor: I'm curious, why?
Brady: In my eyes, it's simple. My place is at Titan.
Victor: Well, it's about time you figured that out. Welcome back. You've been sorely missed.
Brady: Thank you. Thank you for your belief in me, I appreciate it.
Victor: Yeah, well, you don't make it easy.
Brady: I'm aware of that.
Victor: Listen, did Maggie get ahold of you? She was anxious to talk to you.
Brady: No, no, about what?
Victor: About Melanie.
Brady: What is it? Does it have to do with that Andrew character? Is that punk still out there?
Victor: No, that punk is dead. This is the one that killed Trent Robbins, kidnapped Melanie?
Brady: Nick Fallon? Maggie's nephew? What about him?
Victor: Well, apparently, he's up for parole. Seems like there's a good chance he'll be released.
Will: Hey, it's Will. Leave me a message, and I'll call you back.
EJ: [Snaps] One more. Thank you.
Billie: Make that two, please.
EJ: I'm not really in the mood for your company today, Billie.
Billie: Word on the street is that you're about to have the charges against you dropped.
EJ: Would you get a move on with that drink, please?
Billie: You got very lucky, EJ. So why do you look so miserable?
Caroline: Oh, you're early!
Sami: Well, I wanted to surprise the kids.
Caroline: I thought you were with EJ.
Sami: No, Grandma. Just for the record, I am not with EJ.
Caroline: Now or--
Sami: Not at all. I have a wonderful idea. I am going to surprise the kids tonight. We're gonna go up and spend the night at the Wonder World Water Park and hotel. And tomorrow, we're gonna hit the park first thing in the morning.
Caroline: Oh, wonderful. Is Lucas going with you?
Sami: No. It's just me. Me and the kids. They're upstairs?
Caroline: Yeah--uh, yeah. Oh-- [Sighs] It's good to see you, Rafe.
Rafe: Good to see you too, Caroline. How are you doin'?
Sami: [Laughs] Kids, guess what? I have a huge surprise for you. You are gonna love it!
