Sami: [Shrieks] You! What are you doing here anyway?

Rafe: Where is he? Where is he, huh? Where's EJ? DiMera! DiMera!

Sami: Answer me! What are you doing here?

Rafe: What do you think I'm doing here? I'm arresting you and EJ, that's what.

Nicole: I don't understand. You don't think we should make love anymore, ever?

Daniel: Okay, listen, Nicole. I'm not proud of the way that I treated you.

Nicole: What are you talking about? You saved my life. You saved my baby's life.

Daniel: No, before that.

Nicole: Before what? I don't know what you mean.

Daniel: Pressuring you into a relationship when that's the last thing either one of us needed.

Nicole: Oh, no, Daniel, stop. Stop. Will you stop it?

Daniel: Nicole, Nicole--

Nicole: Please, stop. Listen to me. I'm talking.

Daniel: You need to listen--

Nicole: I am talking. You need to listen to me now. You don't have to apologize for anything. You saved my child's life.

Daniel: That doesn't change what a jackass I've been.

Nicole: No, you haven't. You haven't. You-- you saw something that I didn't. But now I do.

Gabi: Melanie, hey, what's going on? Oh, God.

Melanie: Let's go.

Gabi: [Whimpering]

Andrew: Not yet.

[Door slams]

Justin: Hey! Sonny. What's going on? What's wrong?

Sonny: Have you seen Will?

Justin: Uh, no, not since the explosion. I haven't.

Sonny: Neither have I. I'm really starting to worry about him.

Tad: Hey, Horton, did you get word?

Will: What word?

Tad: That guy you pulled from the collapsed scaffolding, he made it through surgery. Looks like he's gonna recover.

Will: Oh, that's great. Thank you for telling me.

Tad: Your grandpa's real proud.

Will: Oh, yeah, I'm just lucky I could help.

Tad: Yeah, that's you. One lucky guy.

Will: Hey! Tad! I didn't know you were in town. How long you been back?

Tad: Long enough to hear that you're a fairy.

EJ: [Panting] [Grunting] Where am I? Get this thing off! What the hell is going on? [Grunting] Untie me. Where are you? [Grunting] Huh? You afraid to look at me? Huh? Huh? Aah! [Grunts]

Rafe: Where's EJ?

Sami: I don't know. What is wrong with you?

Rafe: What is wrong with me? I don't know. I guess I take it personally when my fugitives run from me. [Slams door] Now...

[Lock clicks]

Rafe: Where is he?

Sami: I said I don't know. I mean, why would you even think that he--

Rafe: Oh, now you're gonna insult me? Hmm? Is that what we're gonna do? Look at that. Romantic dinner for two. Enough wine so you don't have to make excuses for what happens next. The dress.

Sami: I had an accident.

Rafe: Save it. I'm done with the lies, Sami.

EJ: McAllister... untie me.

Ian: [Scoffs] After all the time it took me to truss you up? Not bloody likely.

EJ: You contacted me. How did you get into the network? Only my family--

Ian: Aah, I'm not gonna answer that question.

EJ: Oh, let me guess. Your lover, Kate. What, did she whisper it across your pillow?

Ian: Don't you say that. Don't you ever say that! I only loved one. Madison! The love of my life. [Cries] Now...

EJ: Something happen to her?

Ian: She's dead.

EJ: Dead?

Ian: Dead! Are you gonna do something about it?

EJ: What would you like me to--

Ian: What can you do about it? You're useless, Mr. Mayor. Only if you were God almighty himself could you do something about it.

EJ: Okay. So why am I here?

Ian: My timetable. [Sighs] Now that Madison's dead...

[Liquor pouring, glass clinking]

Ian: My timetable is useless.

[Bottle thumps table]

Ian: I don't have to wait. I've got nothing to wait for. Do you understand?

EJ: [Grunting] I think you've had a little bit too much to drink, Ian.

Ian: Ah... I'm so touched that you care. You really shouldn't worry about me. You should worry about yourself. If I were you, I'd worry a lot about myself.

Rafe: Where is EJ?

Sami: I don't know. I really don't!

Rafe: Okay. But he'll be back. Sit.

Sami: What?

Rafe: Sit down. We're gonna wait for him.

Sami: We don't know that he's coming back.

Rafe: Sami, sit.

Sami: I mean, he might not--

Rafe: Samantha Brady, sit.

Sami: Actually, it's still Hernandez.

Rafe: Okay, you're under arrest. We can make it official right now, or you can sit. Now we're gonna wait for EJ. When he comes back, I'm gonna take you both in, and then you're gonna answer for what you've done.

Rafe: I don't seem to be getting any cell phone reception here. How did EJ get ahold of his thugs? Sami?

Sami: Oh, am I allowed to speak now?

Rafe: Do you have any idea how I can get ahold of the station? Yes or no?

Sami: You are such a jackass. You know that, right? I mean, it's just shocking--

Rafe: That's way too many words.

Sami: No, I don't know how you can get ahold of the station. Maybe you should just go back to Salem.

Rafe: No, no, no, you know what? I'm fine. I don't need backup. We'll just wait here for EJ. Just you and me. But you might wanna change.

Sami: Excuse me?

Rafe: Well, you are going to jail, you know. You really want your father to see you getting booked in that dress?

Sami: I don't have anything else to wear. It's not like I packed for this adventure. I'm just trying to prove that EJ's innocent.

Rafe: Hmm. Which is funny, because when I see that dress, gritty detective work isn't really what comes to mind.

Sami: I spilled tea all over my clothes, actually. And I can see you're still judging me, which is fine. The irony being I'm actually doing exactly what you would do in this situation.

Rafe: Actually, EJ's not my type.

Sami: He's innocent!

Rafe: Sit down!

Sami: Look, I'm just trying to tell you that...

Rafe: Down.

Sami: He's the father of two of my children. All right? And he is being framed for a crime he didn't commit. And I care about my kids!

Rafe: The kids you abandoned when you took off?

Sami: My kids, who are in danger in Salem because there's a killer running around loose that the police aren't even looking for. What was I supposed to do?

Rafe: Well, why don't you wait for the police to find him like any normal person would? You don't go abandon-- forget it. Lucas is probably happy.

Sami: Wow. That's actually vicious. I get it, you're mad at me.

Rafe: Mad? Honey, you have no idea.

Justin: So you'll let me know if you see him? Good. Thanks, Bo.

Sonny: [Sighs] That's the tenth text that I've sent.

Justin: Okay. Bo saw Will last night after the explosion. He was helping some people at the edge of the square.

Sonny: Okay, well, which explosion?

Justin: He didn't say.

Sonny: All right, well, if he was part of the rescue, what if he was in the tunnel during an aftershock? That's why he can't text me back, he's in the tunnel.

Justin: Well, first of all, everyone's phones are a little spotty. I mean, there's still people in Jack's family that still doesn't know he died.

Sonny: I just--if he was at the square, how come I didn't see him?

Justin: You really care for Will, don't you?

Sonny: Yeah, I do. Damn it. It went straight to voicemail.

Justin: Come on, let's go find him. [Slaps shoulder] We can cover more ground together. Let's go.

Tad: So you're gay? Just like that?

Will: No, not just like that.

Tad: You mean you were lying all along?

Will: No, I wasn't sure and then I wasn't--

Tad: You weren't gay. That's what it was... until your fabulous pal Sonny turned you.

Will: Look. Wow, there are a couple things wrong with that sentence.

Tad: What about Gabi?

Will: What about her?

Tad: You were dating the girl. Was she not hot enough for you?

Will: That's not the question.

Tad: Just because she doesn't do it for you, doesn't mean you gotta go and change teams.

Will: I didn't change teams, okay? I've always been gay. And for the record, Gabi is fine with it, okay? We are friends.

Tad: That doesn't mean much, does it? Being your friend?

Will: I'm sorry, what does that mean?

Tad: How many years, supposedly, I was your best friend?

Will: I don't know. But you were.

Tad: Turns out, I didn't know the most important thing about you. But everybody else does. Hell, you came out on the front page of the paper.

Will: [Chuckles] That's not how I wanted it to happen, okay? Is that what you're mad about? That I didn't tell you? Because I'm sorry if you felt left out.

Tad: Give me a break! You think I'm the problem? You think everybody is okay with your "shift in lifestyle"? Everybody in your family?

Will: I mean, it was a surprise, but, you know, they adjusted and now they're great.

Tad: Yeah... to your face. What do you think happens when you leave the room?

Will: Um...

Tad: Yeah. This is what a real friend does, Will. I'm telling you the truth. Everybody wants to be okay with it. They want to act tolerant and accepting. But the second they think of the mechanics of things... trust me... it makes them sick to their stomach. Not just me. Everybody, Will.

Melanie: Grandma, the guy that kidnapped me, Andrew, he's here.

Maggie: Melanie, slow down.

Melanie: Where's Gabi?

Maggie: Tell me, tell me--

Melanie: Where's Gabi?

Maggie: Hey, hey, hey.

Melanie: The guy that kidnapped me is here.

Maggie: The man who kidnapped you is in the hospital?

Melanie: Yes, he's here. We need to find Gabi. We need to get help.

Maggie: Okay, fine, you stay right--stay right here, okay?

Nicole: I don't know how else to say this. The truth is, Daniel, that--

Daniel: Nikki, I--

Maggie: Daniel? We need you. Now.

Daniel: What? What happened?

Maggie: Melanie.

Daniel: All right. I'm coming, I'm coming. I'll be back as soon as I can.

[Door slams]

Daniel: What is it?

Melanie: Andrew's here. The kidnapper.

Daniel: Is he? Where?

Melanie: He's in a--in an exam room on a gurney down the hall.

Maggie: Okay, I'm gonna call security. They'll take care of it.

Daniel: No, no! I got it.

Melanie: No, no, Dad.

Daniel: This bastard's gonna get what's coming to him. I got it!

Gabi: Let me go.

Andrew: I'll tell them.

Gabi: No.

Andrew: I'll tell them, Gabi, that it was your idea.

Gabi: No, no, no.

Andrew: You wanted Melanie out of the way.

Gabi: I never said that you should--please, just let me go!

Andrew: You thought your secret died with me. Right? [Coughing]

Gabi: Chad. It's Andrew. And somebody brought him here and he just died.

Chad: You bitch.

Gabi: I don't--I don't understand.

Chad: I heard him.

Gabi: Just now? No, Chad--I mean, he must have been hallucinating.

Chad: He sounded real clearheaded to me. He sounded like he knew exactly who he was talking to, didn't he? Come on.

Gabi: Where are we going? [Whimpering]

EJ: So, why don't you tell me about this timetable of yours?

Ian: It's moved up.

EJ: Yeah, I gathered that.

Ian: You have to do your part.

EJ: Which would be what exactly?

Ian: Why do you think I brought you here? You are going to help me.

EJ: Well, normally I would help you. Listen, I've got a spot of trouble at the moment. You see, I've been accused of Stefano's murder.

Ian: Oh, right. Well, I think I read that somewhere.

EJ: Yeah, it's in all the papers.

Ian: And I also keep tabs on my co-conspirators.

EJ: Co-conspirator? We conspired?

Ian: We both wanted him dead, didn't we?

EJ: No.

Ian: No?

EJ: No.

Ian: Didn't everybody want him dead? Oh, was I just the lucky one that got to do the honors? Now I am confused.

EJ: You... killed Stefano?

Ian: That's good. One complete, unique thought.

EJ: You killed him. And then you set me up for it!

Ian: That's right. You've got it! I set you up for the crime.

EJ: Why, huh? Why? I did nothing to you!

Ian: No, nothing.

EJ: Then why?

Ian: Because it was so easy. You had fired the gun. The gunpowder stains were on your gloves.

EJ: Unbelievable.

Ian: It is, isn't it? It is unbelievable. Sometimes we can be our own worst enemies. You practically just set yourself up. You cleared the way... for me to get my due. Now, I am so happy we've had this opportunity to clear the air.

Sami: Don't you need a warrant to go snooping around?

Rafe: Well, you're a fugitive in the middle of a crime. So anything I find here... fair game.

Sami: You are loving this. I'm surprised you haven't called me a perp yet.

Rafe: Well, the day's young.

Sami: [Sighs] I saw the look on your face at the station. You have doubts.

Rafe: Yeah, well, those all went away when EJ took off.

Sami: Oh, like a DiMera's gonna get a fair shake at the Salem PD?

Rafe: Oh, give me a break. He's the mayor, that does come with some clout. Besides, no one made him run.

Sami: This isn't about EJ. It's about me. You're still mad at me and this is your way to punish me. Carrie put you up to this, didn't she?

Rafe: Don't use her name.

Sami: Oh, what, she's too good for me to say her name?

Rafe: Don't.

Sami: You just feel guilty, that's what this is about. You're not even really mad at me.

Rafe: Oh, I am mad. I'm mad because you trashed our marriage. I think I have every right to be mad.

Sami: [Scoffs] Really? You're the one who checked out on us the second Carrie came back to town.

Rafe: Really?

Sami: Yes. Yes, I'm not gonna continue to take the responsibility for everything that happened. Yes, I made a horrible mistake because of what happened with Johnny. You, what you did with Carrie, that was the ultimate betrayal.

Rafe: No, no, Sami, don't.

Sami: You know what? I get it.

Rafe: Stop it, okay?

Sami: She's pure and good and everything that's right in the world and I am not. But you know what? She's gonna dump her husband the second she thinks she has a chance with you.

Rafe: You don't know what happened.

Sami: Oh, yeah, I do.

Rafe: No, you don't.

Sami: I know Carrie. I know what she's done in the past. I know right now she's giving you this whole, like, "oh, I can't leave my husband" thing. But no, when she decides that's what she wants, she'll dump him in a heartbeat.

Rafe: Carrie's gone.

Sami: What?

Rafe: Carrie and Austin left Salem. They're gone and they're not coming back.

Daniel: That's him?

Melanie: Yeah.

Daniel: He's gone.

Melanie: Where's Gabi?

Chad: Now you tell me. All of it.

Gabi: I don't--

Chad: Gabi, you have one chance here. Just one. No more lies. You tell me exactly what you did.

Gabi: I tried, okay? I tried to tell you earlier, but you were just so nice and so comforting, I just--please. Please, Chad, just remember that. Remember that, please. Okay, fine. It was just supposed to be a prank, okay? That's all it was supposed to be. Nothing was supposed to happen, okay? I was the one that wrote the first note and I pulled off the doll's head.

Chad: So there was never any stalker?

Gabi: I just wanted you to remember how it was when we were together.

Chad: We were never together, Gabi.

Gabi: After Mia, before Abigail and Melanie? Yes! Yes, we were. It was so good, I just wanted maybe to have some time just the two of us that you could see how great it was.

Chad: So you had Melanie kidnapped?

Gabi: No! No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. That was never my plan. But it was never supposed to be a stalker in the first place, but you guys--you were so determined to find one.

Chad: So we could have our lives back and be alone. I was being your friend, that's all. Melanie was being your friend!

Gabi: I know. And I never wanted Melanie to get hurt--never, I never did.

Chad: No, you just wanted her out of the picture.

Gabi: No! It was not like that! It wasn't like that at all, okay? That was all Andrew. And I told him that it was a mistake, and I begged him to let her go. And then everything got so out of control, okay? I never wanted Melanie to get hurt. I wanted to help her. So I followed them to see if I could set her free myself.

Chad: So you did everything you could, right?

Gabi: I tried to handle it myself. That was a mistake. I didn't realize how crazy he was. Not at first. I don't know what I was thinking, Chad. I haven't slept two hours since he took off with Melanie. I mean, when I think about what actually could have happened... it kills me.

Sami: Where did she go?

Rafe: They went to Switzerland.

Sami: They? Carrie and Austin?

Rafe: Yes, Carrie and her husband.

Sami: That is nuts. I mean, I really thought she wanted you.

Rafe: Drop it.

Sami: I just don't understand.

Rafe: Okay, what don't you understand? "Drop it" or "Carrie's gone"? Hmm?

Sami: I get it. I'm sorry. I would yell at me too.

Rafe: Well, it's not about you.

Sami: So what happened? I mean, what did she say? She didn't just leave a note, right? I mean, she's not that much of a coward. She'd say good-bye to your face.

Rafe: I'm not gonna do this.

Sami: Well, maybe you should talk about these things, get it off your chest.

Rafe: Nah, I really don't need to.

Sami: Why? What did she say?

Rafe: Doesn't matter.

Sami: Oh, yes, it does. It all matters.

EJ: So you killed Stefano, did you? Hmm. All the people who self-righteously wanted him dead over the years. All the people he hurt. The people the police are investigating. There you are, eh? Just hiding in the shadows. No one even needed to look, did they?

Ian: And why would they? As you so correctly said, almost everybody in this Godforsaken town wanted him dead. Even the police. No wonder they're being so cavalier in looking for his killer.

EJ: Right. You're the mastermind, eh?

Ian: Oh, are you gonna try a little flattery now, are you?

EJ: Is that why you set me up?

Ian: [Scoffs] Now, now. It's not always about you! This was about me. This was about getting my Madison back... so that she could have it all.

EJ: All?

Ian: She was a wonderful woman. She was so fiery. I was going to give her everything. I had the means. All I had to do was get you out of the picture.

EJ: Oh, so that's why you set me up, is it?

Ian: Not now... then! Why can't you try to keep up? The timetable's changed. With Madison gone... I don't have to wait. And you can give me what I want.

EJ: Is that right?

Ian: Yes. And once you do... I'll have the great pleasure of getting rid of you once and for all.

Will: I'm sorry, what did you want? Because I'm not going to apologize to you for being who I am.

Tad: My best friend has become a complete stranger.

Will: Tad, I am not a different person.

Tad: Really? You don't go to different places? Hang out with different people?

Will: You realize that's just--that's part of growing up.

Tad: Right, right.

Will: I'm sorry, what?

Tad: You turned on a dime. You found this new "fad."

Will: Tad, it is not a fad.

Tad: You found yourself. Changed to doing different things in your life, whatever you want to call it. But you left your real friends in the dust.

Will: I'm sorry, I did not mean to do that.

Tad: Yeah, your mom doesn't mean to do it either.

Will: What? I'm sorry, what does she have to do with this?

Tad: She's just always screwing it up and trying to make it up to you.

Will: Yeah, I don't understand--are you trying to say that I'm--

Tad: Forget it, Will. I don't want anything to do with you anymore.

Will: Okay.

Chad: [Sighs]

Gabi: I don't know what's wrong with me. I just feel like everyone is leaving me, Chad. Look, my sister died. And then Will and I break up... and he's gay. And you were the first one that left me, so I just thought that maybe if I had you back--

Chad: Can you hear how sick that sounds? Melanie could have died. You nearly killed one of the best friends you'll ever have and the woman that I love. I mean, do you understand that?

Gabi: I do, yes. I understand and I don't blame you for being mad at me. I understand. And I hate myself right now. And there's nothing that you can say to me that I haven't said to myself a hundred times!

Chad: Is that supposed to shut me up?

Gabi: No.

Chad: You know what? You-- listen, look at me, all right? You are the most selfish, deluded, dangerous person I've ever met. And I'm a DiMera!

Gabi: I'm sorry.

Chad: That's not good enough.

Gabi: I know, and anything I say right now is gonna be lame and there's nothing I can do to fix it.

Chad: No, there isn't. There's nothing you can do.

Gabi: Oh, my God. Oh, my God, when Melanie finds out what I did--

Chad: She'll know exactly who and what you are.

Gabi: I deserve that.

Chad: Oh, it's the least of what you deserve.

Gabi: I'm gonna lose everything. Is that gonna make it better for you?

[Door slams]

Daniel: Well, where did she go?

Maggie: I'm gonna check with the front desk and, uh, see if she left the building.

Chad: Mel?

Melanie: Hey!

Chad: Are you okay?

Melanie: Sweetie, yeah, I'm fine. Ow--we both, okay. Oh, we have to find Gabi. We have to find Gabi because we--oh, my God, you're okay. Hi. Oh, thank God.

Sonny: Will, hey. Hey, are you okay? Been looking everywhere for ya. Will?

Melanie: Andrew died.

Chad: I know, I know, I found Gabi with him.

Melanie: Seriously?

Daniel: You sure you're, uh-- you're okay?

Gabi: I'm fine.

Chad: Don't worry about Gabi.

Melanie: Why?

Chad: She was freaked out. I-I talked her down, and it's all over now. Look, I don't want you thinking about this anymore, okay?

Melanie: It's really over.

Chad: Yeah. It is.

Melanie: I'm so sorry I left you alone with that psycho.

Gabi: It's okay. I'm fine.

Officer: Okay, everybody. We're gonna have to take some statements here. Miss Jonas, can we start with you?

Melanie: Yeah. Yeah.

Daniel: Okay, you know what, honey? I got some work to do, but I'd like to talk to you as soon as you have time, okay?

Melanie: Okay. Text me.

Daniel: No, you text me, let me know where you're at. I'm your father, okay?

Melanie: Stop worrying.

Maggie: Dads get to worry. Indulge him for a while.

Melanie: Okay. I'll see you later.

Chad: Okay. All right, all right. Go ahead.

Gabi: Thank you.

Chad: Oh, don't thank me yet. We're not done.

Nicole: Ooh. No offense, sweetheart, but this is not a good look to get our man. Gosh, need better lighting, some concealer, a little bronzer--wouldn't help.

[Knock at door]

Nicole: [Quietly] That would help.

Daniel: Hey. You're up.

Nicole: Hi. Huh. Yeah, um, I'm feeling better. How's Melanie?

Daniel: Well, the guy who kidnapped her is dead.

Nicole: Thank God. I'm sorry. Was that a lousy thing to say?

Daniel: Not to her dad. [Nicole chuckles] I'm sorry I had to run off like that. I just--I didn't mean to leave things confused.

Nicole: Me either. I'm glad you came back.

Rafe: What happened was between me and Carrie. It has nothing to do with you.

Sami: She's my sister.

Rafe: Mm. Yeah. Well, let's not talk about it.

Sami: Well, I mean, I get it. She had real feelings for you. Of course. But, um, it was about me too.

Rafe: [Chuckles] Yeah, I think you're giving yourself too much credit. I wouldn't let you get in the way.

Sami: I'm sure you told her that too.

Rafe: Forget it, Sami.

Sami: Okay. So...my sister leaves town and doesn't even say a word to me about it.

Rafe: Well, you weren't exactly around.

Sami: Did she say something to you about it?

Rafe: Well, maybe you should ask your mom. See if they talked about you.

Sami: I'm asking you. Did she say something to you about me?

Carrie: I know how furious you are with Sami. I also know that she still loves you.

Rafe: Whatever. It doesn't matter. It took me a long time to get over Sami, but I did.

Carrie: Sami gets under people's skin, and whether you want to face it or not, I think that she's still under yours.

Rafe: Nope. Carrie didn't say a word to me about you.

Nicole: Look, uh, I know it's not easy to talk with all this craziness, and I know you're working, so, um...you know, maybe you could stop by later when you're done.

Daniel: No, but you need your rest.

Nicole: I know, but not here. I'm going home, so...stop by my room later.

Daniel: You know what, I might be working. No rest for the wicked.

Nicole: It's okay. It's just dinner. And we have a lot to talk about.

Daniel: Yeah. Yeah, well, if I get off at a decent hour, I'll, um--I'll call you.

Nicole: Sounds good.

Daniel: Okay.

Nicole: Go. I know you're busy. Go.

Daniel: Yeah. Okay. All right, later.

Nicole: Later. [Sighs]

Gabi: Look, I'm very grateful that you didn't say anything to Melanie--

Chad: Look, Melanie's upset enough right now. She didn't need to hear that her best friend nearly got her killed.

Gabi: So...you are gonna tell her.

Chad: Stay away from her, Gabi. Stay away from us. If you even try to see her-- if you even try to make it up to her...you won't like what happens. Do you understand me?

Melanie: Hey.

Chad: Hey! Hey, you all done?

Melanie: I think they want your statement next.

Gabi: Okay. Yeah.

Melanie: Okay.

Chad: Uh, yeah, let's go. Should we go?

Melanie: Yeah. We'll wait for her to finish--

Gabi: That's okay. I'll just--I'm fine. Go ahead.

Melanie: You sure?

Chad: Yeah. Let's go.

Melanie: Okay, we'll go.

Chad: Okay. Let's go.

Sonny: Hey, what happened?

Will: You know, I'm just-- I'm a bad person.

Sonny: No, no--

Will: I didn't take care of anybody but me.

Sonny: No, dude, that's just what happens. You feel helpless during disasters. All right? But I know you. I know you did all that you could.

Will: No--

Sonny: All right? You're good. You're good, and you're gonna be fine. You're gonna be fine. I'm just so glad you're okay.

Will: Oh. Yeah?

Sonny: Yeah! [Grunts] I was worried about you.

[Will laughs]

Sonny: You have no idea.

EJ: There is just one flaw in your plan, McAllister.

Ian: I don't see it.

EJ: If I know you're going to get rid of me, I don't have any reason to help you.

Ian: Ha. Not true.

EJ: Really? Do you think you've endeared yourself to me? You kill Stefano, you set me up for his murder, and now you threaten to kill me. What part of that do you think is gonna make me want to help you?

Ian: You sound just like him.

EJ: Who?

Ian: Your late bloody father. Your non-lamented father. Just like him! Big bark! With a tiny little bite.

EJ: With every word... you assure that I will do nothing to help you!

Ian: Is that a dare?

EJ: Is it a dare?

Ian: Are you daring me to give you a reason to help me?

EJ: No.
