Melanie: Bonjour, Madame. Bienvenue a Paris.

Abe: Well, it's--well, it's not quite Paris.

Lexie: No, it's better. It's better. Goodness, you all just make me feel so special.

Abe: Because you are.

Lexie: Oh. Thank you. Thank you, everybody. Thank you, honey.

EJ: Well done, Abraham. Really. A fantastic job.

Abe: Well, I had a lot of help. Your brothers, all of them, were great. Oh, and Melanie. Melanie tutored me. You didn't know I was fluent in French.

Lexie: What, since this morning?

Abe: I can say everything I need to. Lexie, Je T'aime.

Lexie: Oh, my goodness, I'm impressed. I love you, honey.

[Music continues]

Victor: Maggie, where the hell is Henderson? He was supposed to... well, what's this?

Maggie: Happy Birthday, darling.

Lucas: Come on.

Sami: I just want to go to him. I just want to make this right.

Lucas: Sami, you need to give him time, all right? Give him time to calm down.

Sami: I don't want to give Will time. I want to--I want to talk to him. I want him to know that I care.

Lucas: More importantly, Sami, you have to calm down. You have to calm down, all right, or you're going to screw things up with him again.

Sami: I don't want to screw it up. I just want him to know that I love him, and then, when I heard him say he went to my mother, on top of everything else, it just--it was just too much.

Lucas: Well, you know, it's probably a good thing that he did that.

Sami: What?

Lucas: Your mother didn't walk out on him when he told her that he was gay. It's the worst possible thing you could have done. What were you thinking?

Sami: I don't know. But I guess it is the worst possible thing. It's the first thing you and EJ have ever agreed on.

Lucas: Speaking of which, what the hell were you doing talking to EJ about our son anyway?

Carrie: Rafe! Rafe!

Marlena: Carrie, Carrie.

Carrie: Oh, my God.

Marlena: Carrie, it's okay.

Carrie: Oh, my God.

Marlena: It's a dream. Just a dream.

Carrie: Oh, my God, it was so--I thought that... it was so real.

Marlena: I know, honey.

Carrie: Oh, my God.

Marlena: Honey, you're really warm.

Carrie: Wait, have you heard from them? Are they okay?

Marlena: I'm a little more worried about you than I am about them right now.

Bo: With you looking like this, we should go on stakeouts more often.

Hope: I could say the same to you.

Bo: Yeah.

Rafe: All right. You two are looking mighty relaxed.

Bo: Relaxed and ready to move.

Rafe: Good.

Hope: We've been waiting for this for a long time.

Rafe: Yeah, well, we're not going to have to wait much longer now, are we?

John: When DiMera gets here--

Rafe: Yeah, if he gets here.

John: Just keep him talking. Shane's going to be recording everything in the surveillance van.

[Cell phone ringing]

Bo: Nevsky phone.

Hope: It's Stefano. Good luck.

Bo: Yeah.

Bo: [Russian accent] I thought I'd be hearing from you, Mr. DiMera.

Stefano: Nevsky, is that you?

Bo: At your service.

Stefano: [Laughs] How come I have not heard from you?

Bo: I needed to take certain precautions.

Stefano: Mm-hmm. Why, you don't trust me?

Bo: [Continues with accent] I don't trust anyone.

Stefano: Yeah, well, that's something you should learn, because you can't double-cross me, my dear friend.

Bo: DiMera, I believe you did not get rich by jumping to conclusions. So shut up. Listen to what I say.

Carrie: I'm fine. I'm just--I'm worried. I guess you haven't heard from them.

Marlena: I heard from John. This arms dealer Nevsky has been arrested. And now Bo and Hope and John and Rafe are trying to set up a meeting, using his name, to meet Stefano.

Carrie: In other words, the worst part is over.

Marlena: I hope so.

Carrie: But?

Marlena: I just don't know what will happen if this setup they're trying doesn't work.

Bo: [Russian accent] You have no reason to believe you've been double-crossed.

Stefano: I know that you have been talking to another buyer and that's the reason why we haven't met yet.

Bo: [Russian accent] If that is what you believe, why did you call? It seems we have nothing to talk about.

Stefano: If those arms have changed hands already, you are going to regret it.

Bo: But they have not. They are still on ship, secure, and well-protected. So stop with your childish threats and continue negotiations. Unless, of course, you are backing out of deal and have no guts to say so.

Stefano: Where are you?

Bo: Pier 19, warehouse.

Stefano: Stay there. I'm on my way.

Victor: Thank you. For everything. You know, I have to admit, I was dreading this day.

Maggie: I know.

Victor: I just couldn't face a birthday knowing that Bo was--

Maggie: Yeah, but he's not. He's not. When Bo and Hope and the others get back, we're going to have a big family celebration, and everyone can take pictures of you wearing a silly birthday hat.

Victor: I won't do it.

Maggie: Oh, yes, you will if Ciara asked you to.

Victor: Oh, now you're not playing fair.


Maggie: Ah, the party's going to be wonderful. But there is a part of me that's--that's very happy that tonight is just the two of us.

Abigail: She looks so happy. And Theo's having a blast too. You should be really proud of yourself.

Cameron: So I recreated paris on a couple hours' notice. Who couldn't do that?

Abigail: [Chuckles]

Cameron: I couldn't have done it if it hadn't been for EJ.

Abigail: I think it means a lot to Lexie that he and Abe aren't at each other's throats. At least not right now.

Cameron: Yeah.

Abigail: My brother drives me crazy, but he means everything to me. And I really hate it when people are mad at him.

Cameron: I didn't know you had a brother.

Abigail: J.J. He's at boarding school just outside of London. St. Albans, don't you know.

Cameron: Tu ne cede malis.

Abigail: Excuse me?

Cameron: It's the St. Albans school motto.

Abigail: Oh. And you know that why?

Cameron: I went there too.

EJ: Celeste. If there is anything else that I can do to help, you will let me know?

Celeste: You love my daughter, don't you?

EJ: Very much.

Celeste: I see that.

EJ: Well, you'll let me know if there's anything that she needs?

Celeste: I will. She needs all her family now.

Chad: All right, wait a minute.

Melanie: Oh, no, no, no.

Chad: No, no, no, yes, yes. Try this out.

Melanie: Oh--mm-hmm.

Chad: Ah, parfait.

Melanie: Parfait. I dig it. It looks good.

Lucas: Answer me, Sami. Why were you talking to EJ about Will?

Sami: I didn't mean to, okay? I just ran into him. He was doing all the talking.

Lucas: Do you have any idea, any idea at all what privacy means?

Sami: Of course I do.

Lucas: No, I don't think you do. I mean, do you remember what it was like being Will's age? Do you remember that? You remember how awkward it was and how confusing?

Sami: I know. I know.

Lucas: But you and I, Sami, we never had to go through what he has to go through right now. You and I never had to face our friends and our family and tell them that we were gay and tell them that we were attracted to the same sex. We never had to do that.

Sami: Lucas, I know, okay, come on.

Lucas: Well, think about it. In order for him to be honest with himself, he had to tell his friends and his family about everything, the most intimate thing in the world to him, Sami. And how was that bravery met? What did you do? You were mad because he didn't confide in you first, that he told your mother about it? And then when he did tell you about it, you walked out on him?

Sami: Okay.

Lucas: Only to tell EJ about the whole thing. EJ DiMera, of all people.

Sami: All right, I get it, you're angry.

Lucas: I am angry. This is a family matter, Sami. It was private. Do you understand that? It has nothing to do with EJ. And you know what, if Will doesn't talk to you anymore, I'll understand.

Sami: Don't say that. Lucas, don't say that. You have to find a way to help me fix this. I have to fix this with Will, and you have to help me.

Lexie: Well, Hemingway was right.

Abe: Always. Always.

Lexie: After you've been to Paris, it always stays with you, because Paris is a moveable feast.

Abe: [Chuckles]

Lexie: And now you and I... will always have Paris.

Abe: Mwah.

Abigail: They look like they just met. Like they're falling in love for the first time.

Cameron: And there's no one else in the world.

Abigail: It's so nice to see everyone so happy. Well, not everyone.

Cameron: What is it?

Abigail: It's probably nothing.

Chad: All right, let's see this.

Both: Oh.

Melanie: My gosh.

Gabi: Excuse me, Melanie, is it okay if I talk to Chad for a second?

Lucas: I'm sorry, all right? I shouldn't have yelled at you like that.

Sami: I'm not upset because you yelled. I'm upset because you're right.

Lucas: Sometimes you just don't think. You don't think at all. You just react, and I don't get it.

Sami: I just wanted to tell him that I love him no matter what. Because I do love him no matter what. And then I messed it up. Like I always do. But I can't mess this up, because he's--because he's Will, because he's our son. He's my baby. What if you're right? What if he never talks to me again?

Lucas: Well, I don't know if we're there yet, but... if you lose it again, I don't know, Sami. I don't know if you're going to get another chance.

Carrie: Did you tell John to call as soon as it was over?

Marlena: He will call, and then, wow, we can all go home.

Carrie: Home. Where's home now?

Marlena: Oh, right. It will not be so easy for you having to tell Austin about your decision. Carrie? Honey?

Carrie: I'm not feeling so well. Excuse me. I got to go.

Stefano: Well. Well, well. Looks like you brought a little army with you, Mr. Nevsky.

Bo: [Russian accent] In my line of business, one cannot be too careful.

Stefano: What is with this mask and everything? Is that necessary? I mean, we've done business before.

Bo: [Russian accent] True, but since then I've had a couple of security breaches. I do not want to be photographed.

Stefano: Mm, I see. Well, if you are smart enough to know that, you should be smart enough to know that it would be foolish to try to double-cross me.

Bo: [Chuckles] I am businessman. I responded to better offer.

Stefano: We have a deal. And you are going to honor it.

Henderson: And cider for you, ma'am?

Maggie: Thank you.

Henderson: And may I ask how many candles I should put on the cake?

Victor: None.

Henderson: Denial. Classic Taurus response.

Victor: It's not denial. It's a safety measure. Afraid that many candles might burn down the whole damn house.

Maggie: Oh. Oh, honey... you're forever young.

Victor: Because of you, my dear.

Maggie: I love you.

Victor: I love you.

Abe: You know what... I'll be right back. There's something I have to do.

Lexie: Honey, you've done enough.

Abe: Uh-uh, I'll be the judge of that, hmm?

Lexie: Oy.

Abe: [Chuckles] I'll be back.

Lexie: Hey, you.

EJ: Hi.

Lexie: I mean, oh, bonjour.

EJ: You look absolutely breathtaking. Paris becomes you, my dear.

Lexie: Oh, merci beaucoup. Um, listen, I wanted to say thank you for everything. I mean, I know how much you had in all of this.

EJ: Me?

Lexie: Mm-hmm.

EJ: Not really.

Lexie: Yes, you did. And I also want to thank you for getting along with Abe. You know, for my sake.

EJ: It's okay. We do have one thing in common, you know.

Lexie: Yeah?

EJ: We both love you.

Lexie: Oh. I love you too. Listen, if I ask you a question, will you be honest with me?

EJ: Of course.

Lexie: Are you all right?

EJ: Honestly? No.

Cameron: Something wrong?

Abigail: Just worried about a friend.

Cameron: Then go. No problem.

Abigail: Thanks.

Cameron: Yeah. Hey, Abigail. We're still going to have that dinner we talked about, right?

Abigail: I sure hope so. Is something wrong?

Chad: Gabi's been getting these weird phone calls. She thinks they're from her stalker.

Sami: Maybe I should be more like my mother.

Lucas: Wow, you are upset, aren't you?

Sami: Well, she always thinks before she acts, right?

Lucas: Yeah.

Sami: I should work on that. I know it looked like I walked out on him because of what he said, but that's not it. I was just overwhelmed. I felt like a failure.

Lucas: Because your son is gay?

Sami: No. Stop--stop that. No, because of--because he was going through something and I didn't know about it. Because he didn't feel like he could confide in me. You know, parents, it's like the luck of the draw, right? I'm this horrible kid, and I turn out to have this great dad. And Will is this great kid, and then he ends up with a parent like me.

Lucas: Well, I think things are going to work out for you. You know why? Because Will and I are a lot alike. We are. We get really mad at you. We get really, really mad at you, but then we forgive you because... because we love you so much.

Sami: But I'm afraid this is different. You said so yourself. You said he might not ever talk to me again.

Lucas: Ah, that was just me talking on my high horse. I'm sorry about that. Just tell him what you told me.

Sami: I'm scared. The longer I wait, the worse it's going to be, huh?

Lucas: Yeah.

Sami: Thank you. Okay. Pray for me.

Lucas: All right.

Sami: Pray that I don't lose my son forever.

Stefano: We had a contract. Money changed hands, and I wired the money to pay for the munitions.

Bo: [Russian accent] If you are asking for refund, no. But if you like, we may consider it down payment for future orders.

Stefano: Mm. Well, consider yourself warned, Mr. Nevsky. Whatever other deal you made I don't care about. It's null and void. But you are going to deliver what I have bought and paid for, or you'll regret it.

Lucas: Hey, Will, it's Dad. Uh, listen, I just had a long talk with your mom, and she's really sorry. She wants to explain how she really feels. And, uh, she loves you, you know? We both do. So go ahead and give me a call when you get this, okay? All right, bye.

Celeste: I want to read the cards for you again.

Cameron: Mom, can't you be honest about it? This isn't about the cards, you just plain don't like Abigail.

EJ: Alexandra?

Lexie: Mm-hmm?

EJ: I don't think this is the time or the place to be talking about my problems.

Lexie: I say there's no time like the present. Okay, here's what the doctor thinks. You're lonely. You miss Nicole, don't you?

EJ: More than I could possibly have imagined.

Gabi: Uh, you know what? It's probably nothing. I don't even know why I said anything.

Melanie: Okay, it's not really nothing if this guy keeps calling you.

Chad: Well, she thought someone was following her earlier too.

Melanie: Right, so...

Chad: Does he say anything when he calls?

Gabi: Uh, no. He breathes into the phone, which totally freaks me out, and then he hangs up.

Abigail: Well, do you recognize the number?

Gabi: No.

Abigail: Let me have your phone. We'll call them back--

Gabi: No, you can't call them back.

Carrie: Thank you.

Marlena: Not too hot.

Carrie: Okay.

Marlena: It's just right.

Carrie: I think it's just all the stress.

Marlena: I don't know what could be so stressful around here. [Laughter] You know I'm on your side. I guess I'm just wondering that with all this stress, it's the right time to make such a big decision.

Carrie: I know I want to be with Rafe. I don't know how I'm going to tell Austin, but I have to.

Marlena: Are you concerned...

Carrie: Go ahead.

Marlena: Are you worried that you're choosing to be in a relationship with Rafe and Nicole is carrying his child?

Stefano: I've come here alone and unarmed because I am not afraid or I cannot be intimidated. Now you are going to deliver what I have paid for, or there are going to be consequences. [Chuckles] Do you understand?

Henderson: You have a visitor, sir.

Lucas: Happy Birthday, Victor.

Maggie: Oh, hi, it's so nice to see you.

Lucas: Oh, you too. You look great.

Maggie: I have been pinching myself, I am so happy that you decided to stay in Salem.

Victor: I'm amazed that you remembered this is my birthday.

Lucas: Of course, I remember your birthday. Come on. When you were married to my mom, it was like a circus and a state dinner all wrapped into one.

Maggie: [Chuckles]

Victor: Well, as you can see, things are much quieter these days.

Lucas: Yeah.

Victor: But nice. Very, very nice.

Maggie: Thanks.

Lucas: Yeah, I can see that.

Maggie: And you. I haven't seen much of you lately. How are you doing?

Lucas: I'm doing good, I'm doing good. You know, I've been pretty busy lately, but I'm good.

Maggie: Yeah, I'm sure.

Lucas: Yeah. I mean, it's great to see the kids again. It's great to be a part of their life on a day-to-day basis, you know?

Maggie: Yeah, I can imagine. I understand that you and Sami are running Countess W. together.

Lucas: Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's right.

Victor: And is it great, uh, seeing her every day on a day-to-day basis?

Lexie: Look at mom with those cards. Reminds me of old times. But I don't need tarot cards to know your future.

EJ: No?

Lexie: Nope, nope. I see you with a great wife and a wonderful family because as much as you screw up, you are at heart a good man with a good soul. I really see good things happening for you.

EJ: Thank you. Sounds like wishful thinking to me.

Sami: Uh, what just happened, 'cause I think I ended up on a transatlantic flight and I didn't intend it. I'm in paris?

Lexie: It's a long story. Hi, Sami. Um, excuse me, I'm going to go find Abe. Excuse me.

Sami: Is it something I said?

EJ: No.

Sami: Why don't you tell me what is going on here?

Celeste: I don't have anything against Abigail.

Cameron: No?

Celeste: No. I'm worried about her as much as you. The cards tell me there is great danger around her.

Cameron: The cards say whatever wack thing it is you want them to say.

Celeste: I know you don't believe, but that is very foolish of you. Very.

Abigail: Why can't we call whoever it is back?

Gabi: Because the number's blocked, and I deleted all those calls.

Abigail: Well, that was stupid, the police could've traced the call.

Gabi: Okay, so it was stupid, all right? I'm sorry. I was just--I got scared because I keep thinking about that headless doll, and then the note that says I'm next. I'm sorry I'm not as smart as you are.

Chad: Whoa, whoa, whoa, wait, that's not what she meant. Okay, can you--can you just give us, like, a minute? Um, please? Look, Gabi, it's going to be okay, all right? Everything's going to be all right, I promise.

Carrie: Rafe and I talked about Nicole and the baby.

Marlena: I would hope so.

Carrie: Rafe made a commitment to be there for her and the baby any way he can, and I respect him for that.

Marlena: And this commitment that he's made to Nicole and the baby isn't going to somehow, I don't know, have an effect on your relationship with him?

Carrie: Marlena, trust me, Rafe is one of the most honest and loyal men that I have ever met, and him standing by Nicole, if anything, it makes me love him more.

Bo: [Chuckles] [Russian accent] Okay, Mr. DiMera. We have deal.

Stefano: I knew that already. What I have to know now is the exact location of that ship so that my men can put everything into place.

Bo: [Russian accent] I have brought samples if you like to see them.

Stefano: No need.

Bo: [Russian accent] And so you know, there has been a small reduction in inventory.

Stefano: Are you telling me you already sold part of my deal?

Bo: No, no. A few of the items proved to be unattainable.

Stefano: Well, obviously there's got to be some change in the payment.

Bo: Understood. So you have original invoice money transfer papers?

Stefano: Yes.

Bo: Yes. Seems we have everything we need.

Lucas: Well, the thought behind Sami and me working together is that, you know, it's basically good for the kids.

Maggie: Well, that's a nice thought. I'm just so glad you came by to see us.

Lucas: Well, good. I mean, I have been going through a tough time lately. You know, with Sami, it's never easy, but this one right here always seems to get me through.

Maggie: Mm-mm. You know, you get yourself through. But I always want you to know, if you need me, I'm here.

Lucas: Thank you. Well, I'm going to go. I'm going to go. I don't want to crash your party.

Victor: No, no, you're not at all.

Lucas: Well, no, it looks very romantic, and everything is just so for two, so, you know, Happy Birthday. Have a great night.

Victor: Thank you.

Maggie: Okay, well, I'll walk you out.

Lucas: I'll come see you later.

Maggie: Okay, and we have to set aside some time for a nice long talk.

Lucas: Yeah, we need to do that.

Maggie: I know. We haven't.

EJ: So did you talk to William yet?

Sami: No, no, I haven't. I mean, I charged out, planning to find him and talk to him, and then I realized I don't want it to be an instant replay of what happened before. I actually want to think it through and figure out exactly what I want to say.

EJ: Really?

Sami: There is a first time for everything. I'm going to do it right this time.

Cameron: Mom, I know you want what's best for me. But please let's just focus on Lexie. I'm fine.

Celeste: All I want is for you to stay that way.

Melanie: Gabi seems really upset.

Abigail: Yeah, well, hopefully Chad can talk her into going to the police.

Melanie: Yeah, I don't know. God knows how long she's going to be at his place. I'm sorry, that sounded really bad.

Abigail: What?

Melanie: Um, I know she's going through a lot right now, but Chad and I don't really get a lot of time alone.

Chad: Okay, so Will said he was going to call the mayor's office about this, right? Have you heard from them?

Gabi: Um, yes.

Chad: Okay, good, good. Um, what are they going to do to catch this guy?

Lexie: There you are. Oh, I've missed you. What have you been up to?

Abe: Um, well...

[Romantic music]

Lexie: Oh, that's one of my favorite songs.

Abe: I know, I know. Madame, may I have this dance please?

Lexie: Certainly.

Abe: Ah.

Lexie: [Chuckles]

Marlena: Honey, is that ibuprofen?

Carrie: I have a headache as well.

Marlena: Oh, sorry. How long has this been going on?

Carrie: A few days, I guess. Don't look so worried, I'm fine.

Marlena: I'm not so sure.

Carrie: Marlena, do you think something's really wrong with me?

Stefano: The inventory reduction is acceptable.

Bo: [Russian accent] As is adjusted balance.

Stefano: Soon as my men have verified that everything is in order, the rest of the money will be sent overseas as it was before.

Bo: That will be fine. And when I have more of same kind of items...

Stefano: Just get in touch with me.

Bo: [Russian accent] I'll see what I can do.

Stefano: Good. So are we done here?

Bo: Not quite. (Bell rings)

Henderson: And what was the purpose of Mr. Horton's visit?

Victor: He wanted to wish me a Happy Birthday.

Henderson: That was nice of him.

Victor: Was it? Oh. Yes, it was. Listen, dinner was particularly good this evening, Henderson.

Henderson: You should tell Mrs. Kiriakis that. She insisted on preparing it herself.

Victor: Really?

Henderson: It seems to make her very happy to take care of you, sir.

Victor: Well, I'm going to make sure Maggie stays happy, which means she can never find out the truth.

Maggie: The truth about what, Victor?

Abigail: Come on, of course you want alone time with Chad. He's your boyfriend.

Melanie: Yeah, well, I feel bad. You know, what if Gabi's really in danger?

Abigail: Mel, don't you think if Gabi were really that scared, that she would go to the police?

Melanie: Yeah. But she's been through a lot. I mean, she just lost her brother. I don't really want to push anything, and obviously Chad's the only person that can calm her down.

Gabi: Uh, the mayor's security guy said that the last thing I should do is let this person know I'm scared. And I know that as long as I'm with you--staying with you--I'm going to feel safe.

Lexie: Oh, honey. I can't thank you enough for all this. It's magical.

Abe: You know there's nothing I like better than making your dreams come true.

Lexie: You already have.

Marlena: Carrie, are you having other symptoms?

Carrie: Well, no, I...

Marlena: Are you late?

Carrie: Well, I missed last month, but that doesn't mean anything. There's been a lot going on, and... oh, my God. Marlena, do you think I'm pregnant?

EJ: I think it's a really, really good idea for you to think things over before you talk to William, you know? And this time, you just have to make sure you get things right, because you may not actually have another chance.

Sami: That's exactly what Lucas said.

EJ: Really? Well, for once, I agree with him.

Sami: That's funny. That's exactly what I said.

Stefano: Just exactly what is that supposed to mean?

Bo: That we're not done yet. Seems like you've made a couple of wrong moves.

Stefano: Mm. [Chuckles]

John: It looks like this is check and mate.

Stefano: Well, now. Look who's alive and well.

Bo: Stefano DiMera, you have the right to remain silent. If you give up the right to remain silent, anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to an attorney. If you give up the right to an attorney, one will be appointed.
