Doctor Yu: Mr. DiMera, are you all right?

Stefano: I'm fine. No, no, no, I'm fine. Uh, if you don't mind, I want to ask you again what you were telling me about what was wrong with my daughter. I can't--I, uh, I think I misheard you.

Doctor Yu: I said it's possible that Lexie's tumor developed as a result of an exposure to a toxic--

Stefano: Toxic gas? You mean like under a tunnel in a mine? Like, that kind of thing?

Doctor Yu: Exactly. But then again, it's hard to say for certain.

Stefano: My God. Alexandra. It can't possibly be my fault.

Abe: What did you say?

Stefano: Nothing.

Abe: My dying. If you caused this, I wanna know how.

Melanie: I wanna stay in bed all day.

Chad: Well, we can do that again. I'll just have to make a call and see if I can get my money back.

Melanie: What are you talking about?

Chad: I planned a trip to take you to Chicago.

Melanie: What?

Chad: Yeah, I mean, you're always talking about it, so I planned a little trip for us. But if you'd rather stay here... uh... let's see.

Melanie: No, no, no.

Chad: No, no, no, I don't--

Melanie: I wanna go, I wanna go.

Chad: I don't know. I don't know. I should probably cancel. You just expressed a clear desire to wanna stay in this bed all day today.

Melanie: I wanna--

Chad: What are you doing?

Melanie: Okay, how about this? How about we stay in bed a little longer, and then we go to Chicago?

Chad: You sound like you have a plan.

Melanie: As a matter of fact, I do.

Will: Hmm, I should have known.

Gabi: What? This is a good picture of us.

Will: No, it is. Very good. Hey, is it okay if I, um, sit down for a minute?

Gabi: Yeah, sure. I mean, I'm waiting for Rafe, but what's up?

Will: Well I just wanted to talk to you for a minute.

Gabi: About?

Will: Um, well, I kind--I feel like I may--I might have complicated a thing or two between us last night when I told you I was gay.

Gabi: No, I mean, I'm really glad that you did, all right? And I'm really happy that you're comfortable with telling people.

Will: Yeah. But, actually the thing is, I'm not--I'm trying to take it one step at a time, so basically I don't want the whole town to know yet that I was gay.

Gabi: Oh, no, don't worry. I--I won't tell anybody. Trust me, I can keep a secret.

Rafe: Secret? [Chuckles] What's going on?

Cameron: What's wrong, Mom? Is it cold?

Celeste: No, darling. It's fine. It's just--I'm just too upset. All I wanna do is help Alexandra and I can't do anything.

Cameron: As a doctor, I can tell you're doing something very important already. You're here. What's wrong?

Celeste: I had the strangest feeling when our hands touched.

Cameron: What do you mean?

Celeste: I'm not sure.

EJ: What's going on? You haven't told me what the specialist said. Just that, um...

Lexie: There is no cure.

EJ: So um...what are we talking about? Years? Months?

Lexie: The tumor is very aggressive. I might be measuring my time in weeks. It's okay, it's okay. It's okay. Hearing myself say those words. Wow. Can't believe how much I'm gonna miss. Watching Theo grow up, making his way in the world. Oh, honey.

EJ: What is it?

Lexie: I'm gonna miss seeing the changes in you too. Because I feel it, EJ. They're coming, they're coming. The way you went after Abe to become mayor, it caused us a lot of pain.

EJ: I'm so sorry.

Lexie: I forgive you. So now that you have the job, let's see what good you can accomplish, okay?

EJ: Mmm.

Lexie: Mmm. Yes. Oh, baby, don't cry. I would love to be able to see you five, ten years from now. See... what changes have been made in your life. What?

EJ: Hmm.

Lexie: What?

EJ: This is not about me. So let's focus on you, right now, shall we?

Lexie: No, no, something's on your mind. Talk to me.

EJ: Um... there is a change coming for me, just around the corner. Nicole's pregnant. I'm going to be a father again.

Lexie: Oh, my goodness.

EJ: Yeah.

Lexie: Well, does that mean that--

EJ: That we're getting back together? No, I wish. I wish. No, she wants nothing to do with me. She's saying the baby's not even mine.

Lexie: What?

EJ: [Chuckles] She's saying it's Rafe's. It's--I mean, I know that's not true, so...

Stefano: You misheard me.

Abe: I know what I heard and I want answers. Now why do you think you're responsible for Lexie's condition? Tell me!

Nicole: Help, please!

Doctor Yu: What's wrong?

Daniel: Nicole, Nicole, hang on, hang on. What is it?

Nicole: I don't know.

Daniel: Talk to me.

Nicole: I don't know, it's the baby. I'm in so much pain, please help me, help me, help me!

Daniel: Just breathe, just breathe, okay?

Nicole: [Sobs]

EJ: Anyway...

Lexie: Yeah.

EJ: I don't, um, want to burden you with any of this. This is, um... [Sighs] my problem to bear.

Nicole: [Screams]

EJ: Do you hear that?

Lexie: Mmm.

EJ: It sounds like Nicole.

Lexie: Yeah.

Nicole: [Whimpers]

Doctor Yu: Dr. Jonas, I'll get a nurse to help with the pain.

Daniel: Thank you, thank you. It's okay. Relax.

EJ: Nicole.

Nicole: God, please get him out of here, Daniel. Please.

Daniel: Give us space.

EJ: Are you all right?

Nicole: Get out of here, EJ!

Daniel: Let me do my work.

Lexie: Let's go.

[Overlapping chatter]

Daniel: It's okay. There you go.

EJ: [Sighs] Oh, for God sake. Do you know what happened?

Abe: I'm not sure. Well she was holding her stomach and complaining of pain.

EJ: She was... she might be losing the baby. I have to go in there.

Lexie: No, no, no.

EJ: Lexie, I--Lexie, you can't--Lexie, please, I have to--

Lexie: EJ, please, you'll upset her--please.

EJ: Hey. Hey, what's happening in there? Please, is she having a miscarriage? Is she losing the baby? I mean, that's happened before.

Nurse: And you are?

EJ: EJ DiMera.

Nurse: Salem's new mayor?

EJ: Yeah--I am her husband. So can I please go in there and find out what's going on?

Nurse: I'm sorry, Mr. Mayor. The patient has requested that you not be allowed inside.

EJ: Well can you just tell me what's going on then?

Nurse: I can't.

Nicole: [Groans]

Daniel: All right, I want you to take a couple of deep breaths.

Nicole: Okay.

Daniel: There you go. Now tell me where it hurts.

Nicole: I don't know, I don't know. I mean, one minute I was--I was--I was just standing there and the next I had such severe pain I couldn't stand up anymore, Daniel.

Daniel: Okay. Okay, what were you doing right before this happened?

Nicole: [Whimpers] I was just... reading a sign.

Daniel: What kind of sign?

Nicole: I don't know. Something about...playground renovations and... and it had EJ's name on it. [Cries]

Daniel: It's okay. Hey.

Rafe: Come on, guys. What's the big secret? Will? Everything okay?

Gabi: Yes. Yes, everything is okay. Actually, I'm the one with the secret.

Rafe: Oh yeah? And you don't wanna tell your big brother?

Gabi: No, well, I mean, it's not that big of a deal, Rafe.

Rafe: Hmm.

Gabi: Okay, fine. Um, I have this crush on somebody.

Rafe: Ah. Yeah, well who is it?

Will: [Laughs]

Gabi: Okay, one secret at a time, all right?

Rafe: Okay.

Gabi: I mean, he doesn't even know how I feel. It might not even work out. I mean, I don't know. But, when I do find out, you'll be the first one to know.

Rafe: Well then, I guess I'll be finding out soon because who could resist that beautiful face, huh? Huh, sis?

Gabi: [Giggles] Okay, enough about my love life. How are you doing?

Will: Yeah. The kids miss you.

Rafe: Yeah, I miss them.

Gabi: Are you doing okay with the divorce and everything?

Rafe: Yeah. Divorce is so underrated. I'm okay.

[Phone rings]

Rafe: Excuse me. This is Rafe.

Daniel: Rafe, this is Daniel. Nicole came to the hospital with abdominal pains. She's asking for you.

Rafe: On my way. Oh, boy. Listen, I gotta go. So uh, I'll call you?

Gabi: Yeah, okay.

Rafe: All right.

Gabi: Hope everything's okay.

Will: Hoo. You have a crush?

Gabi: Hey, if I were you, I would not complain, okay? I just saved your butt.

Will: Yeah.

Celeste: Cameron? I think I do know what that feeling meant.

Cameron: What?

Celeste: It was about the timing of our reunion. After so many years, why did it happen now? It can't be all coincidence.

Cameron: I don't understand.

Celeste: You were brought here now to get to know your half-sister while you still can. You were sent here to help her.

Cameron: I'm also here to help you. No parent should have to lose a child.

Celeste: Yeah, I am really grateful for your support, but I don't deserve your help. No child should have to grow up without a mother.

Cameron: That wasn't your fault. It was my dad who kept me away from you and now that I'm grown and dad's gone, I know I'm where I belong. With you.

Celeste: [Sighs] I can't believe that as I welcome you into my life, I have to say good-bye to Alexandra.

EJ: I'm the father of that child. I mean, don't I have some rights too?

Lexie: Yes, you do, but we have to wait.

Rafe: Is this where Nicole is?

Lexie: Yeah.

EJ: What are you doing here? Hey.

Rafe: Hi.

Daniel: I called Rafe. Nicole wants to see him.

EJ: You're not seriously telling me that he gets to go in there and I don't.

Daniel: Okay, EJ, you need to listen. The simple fact is, when Nicole discovered she was pregnant, she filed papers with the hospital clearly stating she doesn't want any medical information shared with you.

EJ: Look--look, she's probably just not thinking very clearly. That's what it is. I mean, I'm the father of that child.

Daniel: Well your opinion on her state of mind and the paternity of her baby are irrelevant. Those are the rules. You need to accept them.

Daniel: Rafe, please come in.

Nicole: Oh. Rafe, I'm so glad you're here. [Groans]

Rafe: All right?

Cameron: I'll see you at the hospital later, okay? Call me if you need anything.

Celeste: I will.

Abigail: Cameron.

Cameron: Abigail. What's up?

Abigail: Thankfully nothing. I've sworn off popcorn so hopefully, my life won't need saving again any time soon.

Cameron: Good move on the popcorn. Hard on the teeth. See you later.

Abigail: Wait, um... what about you? What's up?

Cameron: What do you mean?

Abigail: I saw you talking to your mom and she seemed upset. Is everything okay?

Cameron: She's fine. It's my sister. She's not well.

Abigail: Lexie? I'm sorry to hear that. I'm sure it means a lot to her to have you and your mom around.

Cameron: Actually, I don't even know her that well. In fact, the night I met you, I was on my way to meet Lexie for the first time.

Abigail: That's right, that's why you were in such a hurry.

Cameron: I was so excited to make up for lost time, but...

Abigail: But what? What is it?

Cameron: I'm sorry, it's... complicated.

Abigail: Well, if there's ever anything that I can do to help, let me know?

Cameron: Thank you. I appreciate that. I better get going. I'm on my way to the hospital.

Abigail: Cameron, are you all right?

Cameron: Yeah. Sure.

Abigail: Hang in there, okay?

Will: You know, I'm, um, surprised you told Rafe about the crush.

Gabi: Why?

Will: Because he's an investigator. He's gonna find out it's Chad and then he's--and you know, and then what are you gonna do?

Gabi: Yeah, but I mean, I could tell him I just--I gave up because he's committed to Melanie, which is actually the truth.

Will: Oh, is it? Because, you know, last night you were trying to guilt trip me into, you know, helping you break them up.

Gabi: I know, I know and you made me realize how lame that was.

Will: Whoa, that--that's great. Good, I'm glad to hear that.

Gabi: You know, no matter how much it hurts to see them together, there's really not anything I can do. I just have to accept it. Just get used to it. Actually, Chad and I have a photo shoot today. And as far as I'm concerned, he's just another prop.

Will: Okay, good for you. Anyway, I'm--you know, I'm around whenever you wanna talk, but I think I'm gonna have to go in and yeah, uh, do some work for EJ. Okay.

Gabi: All right. Well, um, thank you for listening.

Will: Of course, thank you. You're also a good listener.

Gabi: We're friends, right?

Will: Yeah.

Gabi: [Slight laugh]

Will: [Kiss sound] See you.

Gabi: See you.

Melanie: I'm pretty sure I'm right--no, I'm pretty sure you're wrong.

Chad: What show are we talking about?

Melanie: The show that we were watching last night.

Chad: Uh, oh, Oprah?

Melanie: No.

[Both laugh]

Chad: What show? What are you talking about? Let's get something to eat.

Melanie: What do you want to eat?

Chad: I'm starving--uh, I don't know. Get some, uh...what are you getting?

Nicole: What is that?

Daniel: Uh, just something to help you relax.

Nicole: But, the baby--

Daniel: It will not hurt the baby.

Nicole: Are you sure?

Daniel: I wouldn't give it to you if I wasn't, right? We need to get your stress level down. Then we'll run some tests and see exactly what's going on, okay?

Nicole: Thank you for coming.

Rafe: Nowhere else I'd rather be.

EJ: Father, Father, listen, you have to help me. I need to get into Nicole's room.

Stefano: What do you want from me?

EJ: You--I want you to help me. Okay? Listen, she's restricted my access. I can't get in there. You can still get in there. Okay. I understand you're angry with me, I don't need to hear it, frankly, all right? That's your grandchild in there, so can you please just help me.

Stefano: Look... my daughter is sick. That's all I have in my mind.

EJ: I'm your son. Help me.

Stefano: No, you're wrong. Well please, I--nothing I can do for you, now just leave me alone.

EJ: Don't you dare turn your back on me. I let you get away with that. I'm not letting you get away with that anymore. You do that one more time, and I'll see you live to regret it.

Melanie: What do you think you feel like?

Gabi: Hey, you two.

Chad: I was gonna get the--

Melanie: Hey.

Chad: Oh, hey.

Gabi: You better not be ordering a burger and fries because you know we have a photo shoot later, and usually that means a lot of shots with your shirt off.

Chad: Uh, what--what work? What are you talking about?

Gabi: The photo shoot. We've, like, scheduled it for weeks now. I mean, don't tell me you forgot.

Chad: Gabi, Chris didn't call you? The shoot's off. And it's not gonna be rescheduled, so I'm not really sure when we're gonna be working together again.

Doctor Yu: Dr. Jonas, how is your patient doing?

Daniel: Oh, I think she's fine. Yeah, she's resting now.

Doctor Yu: That's good news.

Daniel: Yeah, uh, if you have a minute, um, would you mind going over with me Lexie's prognosis?

Doctor Yu: Your original diagnosis was correct. I have nothing to add. The tumor has progressed too far. I'm afraid there's nothing I can do.

Daniel: How long?

Doctor Yu: Weeks. A few months at best. I'm very sorry.

Daniel: Would you, uh, would you mind if I review your findings? I know the odds are a long shot, but I just wanna pour myself into this and help her any way I can.

Doctor Yu: I admire your determination, Doctor. Of course I'll send you my files straight away.

Daniel: Thank you.

EJ: You're a cold man. You seem to delight in finding new ways to torture your family. Well, I've had enough.

Lexie: Okay, stop, stop, stop!

Stefano: Whoa, whoa, whoa. Easy, easy.

Abe: Can't you see what you're doing to Lexie? What the hell are you thinking, putting on a spectacle like this in the middle of the hospital?

Stefano: Are you all right, Lexie? Huh, are you all right?

Lexie: Yeah. Yeah. Um, listen, Father, maybe it's best if you--if you go, okay? There's just nothing more that you can do today.

Stefano: You're right. Of course. Um, all right, look. I will be home, okay. But I'm not going to give up. Don't forget, you're a DiMera, huh? All right, you never give up. I don't understand this. It should have not happened to you. This is all wrong. Should not have happened to you. Ciao.

Lexie: Ciao. Ugh, I can't deal with it.

Abe: I'll handle it, just let me handle it. It's all right. You don't have to deal with anything, I'll just handle it. Come on, let's have a seat.

Will: Hey. Sorry, I was looking for you. I called your office, but I just got the answering machine. What's up? Is everything okay?

EJ: No. Everything is definitely not okay, as you would know if you'd been doing what I told you to do and keeping tabs on Nicole.

Will: Oh yeah, I had a class--

EJ: I don't care if you had a class, William. I have a job for you. Do you know enough about computer systems to be able to get into the hospital records?

Will: Mmm, yeah.

EJ: Good. Okay, this is what I need you to do.

Rafe: You just think about how happy you're gonna be a year from now.

Nicole: Will I?

Rafe: Yeah, you will. Be pushing that fancy little stroller around. Precious little baby inside.

Nicole: Yeah. My tiger print and bling bling passy.

Rafe: Oh, yeah. I can see it now. All those people will be looking inside trying to look at that precious baby. Be lining up.

Nicole: Lining up, huh?

Rafe: Yeah.

Nicole: Sounds good.

Rafe: You're gonna be so happy. You are. A healthy baby and everything you ever always wanted.

Nicole: Everything?

Rafe: Everything. Everything you ever dreamed of.

Gabi: Okay, okay, why did they cancel the photo shoot? What's going on?

Chad: Well, I guess after all the executive changes at Countess W, they are, you know, re-assessing their media strategy. I just know that they're putting a hold on everything involving us.

Gabi: Everything?

Chad: Well, yeah, I mean, I wouldn't have made these travel plans if, uh--

Gabi: Wait.

Chad: If I didn't think it was possible.

Gabi: Okay, what travel plans? Where are you going?

Chad: Oh, Melanie and I are going to Chicago for a couple of days.

Gabi: Right now?

Chad: Well, yeah, I mean, after we grab some grub for the road.

Gabi: Why? I mean--

Chad: Uh, to see the town, check out a game at Wrigley Field, check out Second City. Oh, and best of all, I scored us a hotel room with a view of the lake. I'm so, so excited.

Gabi: That sounds--that sounds very romantic.

Chad: Yeah, I hope so. Just Melanie and me alone in the big city. Looks like we're a go.

Abigail: Hi, Ms. Perrault? I don't know if you remember me. Abigail Deveraux?

Celeste: I certainly do. What an enchanting young woman you have become.

Abigail: Thank you. I just wanna say how sorry I am to hear that Lexie's sick. I really hope everything will be okay.

Celeste: I appreciate your sentiments.

Abigail: You know, I've never had a tarot card reading before.

Celeste: Really?

Abigail: Yeah, I always wondered how it worked.

Celeste: The cards can see many things. Sit down and let me show you. Okay, let's see what the cards say about you. I see a strong connection to the written word.

Abigail: Yeah.

Celeste: A writer, perhaps, like your father?

Abigail: I'm studying journalism at Salem University.

Celeste: Oh. [Gasps]

Abigail: What is it?

Celeste: Um, something about a man, um... a flirtation with an older man.

Abigail: What do the cards say about him?

Celeste: Apparently, it's not in your future.

Lexie: EJ, uh, listen.

EJ: No, Lexie, I'm sorry. Just for a second. I'm sorry about the outburst earlier with father.

Lexie: No, stop, stop. Stop, stop, I don't have room in my life for that kind of petty family drama. Not anymore. Oh, Cameron, Cameron, please join us.

Cameron: Are you sure I'm not intruding?

Lexie: No, no, not at all. As a matter of fact, I'd like to introduce you to my brother, EJ DiMera. EJ, Dr. Cameron Davis, who is my brother also, on my mother's side.

EJ: Wow.

Lexie: Yeah.

EJ: Didn't know you had another.

Lexie: Neither did I. Neither did I. Not until, um, a few days ago. [Chuckles]

EJ: [Clears throat] Well, it's a pleasure to meet you.

Cameron: I'm glad to meet you too, EJ...and I wish it were under better circumstances.

EJ: Mm-hmm. Yeah, well, I think we all wish that, don't we?

Lexie: Yeah. So what brings you back to the hospital.

Cameron: To see if I can talk to Dr. Yu and get a better handle on what's going on.

Lexie: Oh.

Abe: You know what, I'm gonna go to Lexie's office and pick up her things. I'll help you find Dr. Yu.

Cameron: Great.

Abe: You mind keeping an eye on Lexie while I'm gone?

EJ: No, of course not.

Abe: All right.

Lexie: Thank you. Thank you so much. Sorry we haven't spent more time getting to know each other. But we are going to remedy that very soon, okay?

Cameron: I look forward to it.

Lexie: Okay.

Abe: All right, let's go.

Lexie: All right.

EJ: Another brother?

Lexie: Yeah. [Chuckles]

EJ: Maybe you can find it in your heart to forgive this brother for some of his behavior earlier.

Lexie: You are already forgiven, EJ. But listen, you're the mayor now, okay. You can't let your emotions get the better of you like that. And you certainly can't go around threatening father. Really I m--what is going on with the two of you?

EJ: Lexie.

Melanie: Okay, baby. Got the time off, so I'm ready to go when you are.

Chad: Okay, our food should be ready here in a few minutes.

Melanie: Cool.

Gabi: Well, you know what, since we don't have that shoot, I'm gonna go upstairs to my room.

Chad: Okay.

Gabi: Have fun. Take lots of pictures. See you.

Chad: Yeah.

Melanie: See you when we get back.

Chad: If we ever decide to come back.

Both: [Mumbled nothings]

Rafe: Hey. She's, uh, good.

Daniel: Yeah.

Rafe: Listen, I just wanted to thank you for everything you did out there. Not letting that be a scene.

Daniel: Yeah, well don't thank me yet. EJ's still lurking around out there.

Rafe: Hmm.

Daniel: He want in here in the worst possible way.

Rafe: Yeah, well that's too bad. She doesn't want him in here.

Daniel: Well just so you know, he's still insisting on that DNA test. As soon as she's far enough along.

Rafe: Yeah, well of course he is.

Daniel: Yeah, well when that time comes, you just try keeping him out.

Nicole: EJ, this truly is a miracle. I've wanted a baby of my own for so long. I never thought this day would come.

EJ: Well, it has. And every day after, sweetie.

Nicole: I just feel like my life finally has meaning, you know?

EJ: So tell me. If you could have one more thing, to make your life perfect, what would it be?

Doctor Yu: I said it's possible that Lexie's tumor developed as a result of an exposure to a toxic--

Abe: Toxic gas? You mean like under a tunnel in a mine? Like, that kind of thing?

[Glass shatters]

Doctor Yu: I've gone over the results repeatedly, looking for anything that might offer some hope.

Abe: Uh, Doctor, thank you very much for everything you've done.

Cameron: I'm gonna call some of my colleagues and get their take. These will help.

Doctor Yu: I've given them to Dr. Jonas as well. I certainly hope one of you has an idea on a different approach.

Abe: Uh, Dr. Yu, can I have a private moment, please.

Doctor Yu: Yes, of course, Mr. Carver.

Abe: I'm curious about the conversation you had earlier with Stefano DiMera, when you were explaining Lexie's prognosis.

Doctor Yu: Yes. He took it very hard. He wanted to know about the causes about Lexie's particular type of tumor.

Abe: What specifically did you tell him?

Chad: All right, so traffic's light. We will be in our hotel room before we know it.

Melanie: All right, I can't wait.

Gabi: [Exhales deeply]

Chad: Gabi, what's wrong?

Melanie: You okay? What's wrong?

Gabi: This was in front of my door and they left a note.

Melanie: "This is what's gonna happen to you next, model girl"?

Abigail: Do the cards say anything else? Is something wrong?

Celeste: No, it's nothing. Cards are often vague. Cameron, how is Alexandra?

Cameron: She's holding up better than most people. I have her test results to go over. I see you two are getting reacquainted.

Abigail: I was just helping your mom pass the time. But I will give you two your space now. I'm sure you have things to talk about.

Cameron: Thanks.

Abigail: Yeah.

Cameron: I promise I'll catch up with you later.

Abigail: Okay.

Celeste: Stay away from her.

Cameron: What?

Celeste: There's a great aura of danger around her.

Nicole: That is a silly question, EJ. What more could I want? Do you see your father, honey? Huh? Don't you just wanna tell your daddy, "I love you"? I know you can't say it, so I'll say it for you.

Rafe: Well don't say it unless you mean it.

Nicole: [Gasps]

Rafe: Whoa. Hey, easy. You okay?

Nicole: Oh, my God. It's you.

Lexie: Mmm. I don't know what's taking Abe so long. I'm gonna go find--

EJ: No--hey, whoa, whoa. Hey.

Lexie: Okay.

EJ: All right, no you're not.

Lexie: I know--

EJ: Let's just sit down.

Lexie: All right. Okay.

EJ: Okay?

Lexie: Yeah, I'm just a little dizzy.

EJ: Lexie, stay here.

Lexie: Okay.

EJ: Do not exert yourself. I will find Abe.

Lexie: Okay.

EJ: Okay?

Lexie: Okay.

EJ: Come here. Did you get anything?

Will: No, not yet. I'm close though.

EJ: Then get looking.

Doctor Yu: I was explaining to Mr. DiMera about how certain toxic gases have been found to be a contributing factor in the development of tumors such as Lexie's. Gases found in manufacturing, for example.

Abe: Are these toxins found anywhere else?

Doctor Yu: Yes, certain underground gases have been linked to it.

Abe: Underground gases? Like in tunnels, passageways?

Doctor Yu: Funny. That's exactly what Mr. DiMera had asked.

Abe: My wife was held prisoner in their tunnel. That son of a bitch Stefano. I'll kill him if he caused this. I swear to God. I'll kill him.
