Man: You can pick up your effects with the duty sergeant on your way out.

Abe: What about my bail?

Man: It's been paid.

Abe: Roman? He posted my bail?

Lexie: No...I did.

Billie: Hi.

Kate: Hey, you don't look so good.

Billie: Oh, well, a cheery good morning to you too.

Kate: No, no, no, baby. I just mean you're pale and you look tired. I think you've been spending way too much time at that hospital.

Billie: Well, and I think it's really good for Bo to have voices around him of people that care about him.

Kate: Honey, he's in a coma. He doesn't even know you're there.

Billie: He's in a medically-induced coma, and I actually think he does sense when people are around him.

Kate: Okay, good. Well, you know, there's a whole horde of Brady’s who could hold vigil for him and that would be--that would be an upside to all the unchecked breeding.

Billie: You know, I think you could be a little bit more sympathetic to his situation.

Kate: I am sympathetic. You know, the scones are actually pretty good here.

Billie: Good. Listen, I wanna talk to you about something. I am concerned that no one's been able to reach Hope and John.

Kate: [Laughs] God! Can you believe a scone can actually be up to 500 calories?

Billie: I think somebody does know. I think it's Stefano. I think he is behind all of this.

Kate: Every time something goes wrong in this town, everyone immediately thinks of Stefano.

Billie: And 98% of the time, they're right. So come on, Mom, spill it. What's your new hubby up to?

Marlena: John, hi. I'm sorry to keep calling you, but I'm getting awfully worried. I haven't heard from you, so... would you just call me as soon as you get this and let me know that you're okay? And... I love you. I'm missing you. Bye.

Will: Hey. Hi.

Marlena: Hi.

Will: Um, is now a good time? Are you gonna make another call?

Marlena: No, it's-- actually, it's a very good time. I woke up thinking about you, about our conversation last night.

Will: Yeah, me too. Um, actually that's what I wanted to talk to you about, because I think maybe you might have, um, maybe gotten the wrong impression about some of the things I was saying.

Marlena: Really?

Will: Yeah. Um, I just want you to know that I don't really think that I'm gay.

Nicole: Rafe! Rafe! Hey.

Rafe: Hey.

Nicole: You look like A... man, who hasn't had his morning coffee.

Rafe: Yeah, um...sorry. Just...a little distracted.

Nicole: I can see that. Carrie?

Rafe: Uh-huh.

Nicole: That doesn't make any sense. You were gonna tell Carrie how you feel, and already know how she feels. And, should be flying high right now.

Rafe: Yeah. Yeah, well, here's the thing. I went to talk to her, and... well, when I got there, she was already talking to Austin.

Nicole: And?

Rafe: And they're gonna work things out. Which is good...for them. I'M...happy for them.

Nicole: No, you're not. Come on, you're a great guy, Rafe. So naturally, if you feel you have to say that.

Rafe: Yeah. Yeah. This great guy doesn't really wanna talk about that right now. So...more importantly, how are you?

Nicole: I'm--I'm fine. I'm fine ever since you... took me out for that cheeseburger. It's like my morning sickness has been cured, so thank you.

Rafe: Yeah.

Nicole: Thank you.

Rafe: Yeah.

Nicole: And...thank you for keeping my secret for me.

Rafe: Well, sure. Really, I thought about it. I figured pregnancy--it's a personal thing, right? should feel free to tell whoever you want.

Nicole: I know, but still, I shouldn't have dragged you into my mess. And now EJ thinks we slept with each other.

Rafe: Yeah.

Nicole: Just...

EJ: Ah, look! Just Salem's latest lovers out for a stroll. How wonderfully, nauseatingly romantic.

Sami: Wait, so let me get this straight. You allow people with pets, but not people with kids? How is that even legal? Same to you, buddy. [Sighs]

Carrie: Sami, I think that maybe we should talk.

Sami: I'm not in the mood to fight with you, Carrie.

Carrie: Good, neither am I. I was just hoping that we could, you know...clear the air, talk things out.

Sami: Are you kidding? After what you have done, there is absolutely no way... that I will ever forgive you.

Man: I'll be right back with your paperwork.

Abe: I don't know what to say... other than, "thank you."

Lexie: You don't have to thank me.

Abe: Oh, I do. I do, you didn't-- you didn't have to do this. After everything I put you through, you had every right to turn your back on this whole mess.

Lexie: Well, at the very least, I couldn't let the father of my child spend one more day in jail than he had to.

Abe: How is Theo?

Lexie: He misses his daddy.

Abe: I miss him. And you. More than you know.

Lexie: Abe, I--

Abe: No, no, no. Look, don't have to say anything. You don't even have to stay. [Stammering] I don't know what got into me during that campaign. What I did to win... when winning...isn't nearly as important as just one night at home with you and Theo.

Lexie: I miss that too. [Sigh] More than you know. Look, Abe, I... I owe you a huge apology.

EJ: So, um, tell me, please. What exactly was it that set the sparks flying? Let me guess, was it two-for-one beer night at the sports club?

Nicole: Okay, you know, as usual you're wrong.

Rafe: Nicole... Nicole, you don't owe him an explanation.

EJ: More than that, unfortunately she wouldn't be able to give me one if she tried, would you sweetheart? I mean, how could she possibly explain ending up with the man that you used to call--correct me if I get this wrong-- a self-important jerk.

Nicole: Just shut up. So what? I-I called Rafe a few crappy things in the past. Now I know who the real jerk is.

Carrie: Sami, don't you think after everything our family is going through, that we could try and talk this out?

Sami: No.

Carrie: I cannot believe that you won't even try to be civil about this. What am I saying? Of course I can believe it.

Sami: You stole my husband, and you expect me to be civil? Get to know me!

Carrie: I didn't steal your husband!

Sami: Really? Then why did he ask me for a divorce?

Carrie: What?

Sami: Don't act like you didn't plan the whole thing.

Carrie: I didn't know.

Sami: You don't care. You tried to steal my husband. You did everything you could to take him away from me.

Kate: There's a line, and you just crossed it. If you can't talk about Stefano with respect, then I would really prefer you don't talk about him at all. All right? You need to listen, and you need to listen very carefully. Stefano is away on business, and that business has nothing to do with John or Hope.

Billie: No, because it has all to do with Marlena.

Kate: What's that supposed to mean?

Billie: Well... I don't think Stefano has completed his 12 steps over his obsession with Marlena. I think he's still addicted.

Kate: No.

Billie: No? No? Really? Come on, let's think about that. Marlena comes back to Salem, and what does Stefano do? He makes sure she's left vulnerable and alone, and John is 1,000 miles away. Now, come on, Mom. Don't you think this is déja vu all over again?

Will: I mean that, basically, I overreacted... because you know, my dad overreacted. I mean, he saw Sonny and me fool--you know, messing around and he got weirded out by it. You know?

Marlena: And what else?

Will: You know, he and Grandma Kate are living in the past. You know, they're perpetuating these stereotypes. For example, being on a football team doesn't mean you're straight, right? And being--hanging out with a gay guy doesn't mean you're gay.

Marlena: Well, stereotypes can be very inaccurate. They can also be very damaging.

Will: Yeah! So...I mean, so them thinking I'm gay and it's just-- basically, what I'm saying is if I was gay, um, I would know it. And I'm not. So...let's just, you know, forget what I said.

Marlena: Afraid I can't do that, honey.

Will: Please?

Marlena: Will, I'm not gonna discuss it with anybody. But I can't behave as though it didn't happen. You're clearly upset--very upset at the thought of people-- of your family--thinking that you're gay.

Will: Well, it doesn't matter because it's--I mean, it just isn't true.

Marlena: Yeah, well, it me. So I need to say something. Maybe I need to say it over and over and over. I love you. Always will... no matter what.

Carrie: Mm-mm. You can't blame me for what happened. You slept with EJ, Rafe finally found out about it, and that's what ended your marriage.

Sami: You have no idea what happened with EJ when you were making a play for my husband. You were having trouble in your marriage with Austin. You saw Rafe, and you went in for the kill.

Carrie: Stop playing the victim, and for once in your life take responsibility and stop blaming everyone else.

Sami: I know what I did was wrong. But I didn't mean to hurt Rafe or anyone else. I'm a screw-up...big time. But at least I'm not a husband-stealing hypocrite.

Rafe: Nicole, let's just get outta here.

Nicole: Rafe, why don't you go ahead? There's a few things I'd like to talk to his honor about.

Rafe: All right, you want me to stick around?

Nicole: No, I'm fine.

Rafe: Okay. Call me if you need anything.

Nicole: Okay.

EJ: [Clearing throat] You know, you really disappoint me, Nicole. I understand you want to pay me back. But really? Come on. Samantha's leaving us?

Nicole: You know, EJ, you're a real charmer. But news flash: What I have with Rafe is none of your freakin' business.

EJ: Unfortunately, uh, it really is my business when you decide to flaunt what you have with Rafe in public to embarrass me.

Nicole: Oh, wait a minute. You kidnap children. You have hitmen on speed dial. And so you think I'm the one that's tarnishing your image?

EJ: You're my wife, in case you've forgotten.

Nicole: No, I haven't forgotten, and I am rectifying that situation.

EJ: How do you mean?

Nicole: You know those divorce papers that I had you sign many months ago? I filed them.

EJ: No.

Nicole: Yes. And before long, our divorce will be final, and I, for one, cannot wait.

Abe: You're apologizing to me? For what?

Lexie: For treating you so terribly these past few weeks. And for turning my back on you, shutting you out. You didn't deserve that.

Abe: I cheated in the debate. And I lied to you. So you have every right to be angry.

Lexie: Yeah, well, anger doesn't preclude forgiveness, especially when my life hasn't been blameless. When you were arrested-- when they put you in those handcuffs, I don't know. I just-- it just made me see how wrong all this is. I mean, you are a good man who made a mistake. I should've been at your side, not up on my high horse. I am so sorry. I hope you can forgive me.

Abe: Sweetheart... there is nothing-- there's nothing to forgive. And I love you. I always will.

Kate: Stefano has absolutely nothing to do with John and Hope's situation. I mean, if you think about it, I mean, they were completely different people before. Who knows? Maybe they've morphed into new people and they're taking a cruise together, Billie.

Billie: This is not funny.

Kate: [Sigh] You know what's not funny? My daughter denigrating my husband, my marriage, and my happiness.

Billie: You really love him, don't you?

Kate: I do love him.

Billie: Oh, well, then you're in a much bigger mess than I even thought.

Will: So you think I'm gay too?

Marlena: The truth? I don't care. I just like the whole package. Nothing's gonna change that, you know? Gay or straight--to be determined. It just doesn't matter.

Will: I know, I know... that--you're the only person in the whole world I know that about.

Marlena: Hmm. I think you might be selling some people short. I know that you were upset by your dad's reaction, but I'm not sure it reflects how he feels about you.

Will: Well, he was disappointed in me. And how do you think my mom is gonna react? I mean, if-- if it were true.

Marlena: Okay, well, then we'll just speak in hypotheticals. I think your family would need time to rethink their assumptions about you. But I'm a little more worried about you. I mean, if your family can't accept what's going on, then that's their problem. But if you can't accept who you are, you'll be in for a very unhappy life.

Will: No, I won't. Because I'm not gay. I won't be gay. I just won't.

Carrie: I did not go after Rafe. I did not talk badly about you, and I did not manipulate him.

Sami: Right, right. You just...couldn't help yourself, right? It was bigger than both you. You were swept away on a sea of emotion.

Carrie: You're not even feeling a tad hypocritical, are you?

Sami: You admitted that you were falling in love, right? That you couldn't help yourself but fall in love with my husband? That's what Austin overheard you say, am I right? No wonder he cheated on you.

Carrie: Oh, um, he didn't cheat on me. Abigail lied.

Sami: What?

Carrie: They never slept together. Austin was drunk and he passed out.

Sami: So he didn't betray you?

Carrie: No, he didn't.

Sami: Well, that changes everything. Or does it? What are you gonna do now that you know the truth?

EJ: You're going to divorce me?

Nicole: Better late than never.

EJ: I see. So your tacky little affair with Hernandez isn't enough. Now you have to hurt me.

Nicole: Do you really wanna bring up the topic of fidelity? Don't you think your little tryst with Sami was humiliating and hurtful for me? God, EJ. You know what, maybe you're right. Maybe I don't have any self-respect. Maybe I agree with you. I know it's not my long suit, but I know enough that I am never...ever... gonna take you back.

EJ: Do you know why it kills me? It kills me to see you with Hernandez. It's not that I'm angry, jealous. It's knowing that I pushed you to do it. And I love you. Nicole, you're the only girl that I've ever loved. Please. That's the truth.

Carrie: I don't know what I'm gonna do about Austin. I have a lot of think about.

Sami: Well, take your time. What's more fun than having two men on a string at the same time, right?

Carrie: Oh, yeah, funny coming from you. I wouldn't do that on purpose, Sami.

Sami: Again. I mean-- well, I think you enjoy it. Having two men fighting over you, especially since I have no one.

Carrie: Oh, come on, that is not fair.

Sami: What's not fair is you waltzing back into Salem, ruining my marriage, and now you get to go back to your husband as if nothing happened! Or you get to be with Rafe. Either way, you win. That's what's not fair! And I hate you for it.

Marlena: Do you think there's something wrong with being gay?

Will: No. You know, I mean, look at Sonny. He's great. But the thing is that he's fine with being gay because it doesn't bother him. But it bothers me, because I want--you know, I want a family. And I want kids. And I want a normal life.

Marlena: What's normal? You know, gay people have spouses. They have children.

Will: But it wouldn't be the same.

Marlena: Same as that picture in your head, what a family is?

Will: Hmm.

Marlena: I want you to go for it. Because that's what we do. We take what we get given. And most of the time, what we're given is better than what we ever could've imagined for ourselves.

Will: You know, Grandma?

Marlena: What, Will?

Will: Um... you know, when I'm hanging out with Sonny and his friends, I feel like I fit in.

Marlena: Really?

Will: Mm-hmm. God, I can't believe my grandma is my best friend.

Marlena: Oh, I love you so much! Oh! I have watched you for so long, and I have seen you go through so much. And you keep on getting stronger.

Will: I don't know about that.

Marlena: Well, it's my call. And as we both know, I'm always right.

Will: Yeah. All right.

Marlena: You are so strong. You are so honest. And you are becoming a hell of a man. It gets better. And you get better... And I am unspeakably proud of you.

EJ: Please. What we have is special. We can survive this.

Nicole: Damn it, EJ, stop. Stop, stop! Stop it! Save your rhetoric for city hall, EJ. I am not gonna let you suck me in. And once this divorce is final, I don't have to deal with you anymore. And there will be nothing left to bond us together--nothing. So good-bye. Have a nice life, EJ. Actually, have a lousy life.

Sami: You look like hell.

EJ: [Clears throat]

Sami: I know the feeling.

Abe: So... what am I gonna do now, hmm? I'm not the mayor. I can't go back to the force with these charges hanging over my head.

Lexie: Well... I know there's something very important that I have to do.

Abe: Oh, well, what's that?

Lexie: Help you move back home...where you belong.

Billie: Okay, I'm sorry I went so far. It's just, you know, it's kinda hard for me to accept the fact that my mother is married to Stefano DiMera. And I would just feel better if somebody was watching over you in that mausoleum. As a matter of fact, uh...

Kate: Yeah.

Billie: Well, I was just thinking that, you know, I'm back in Salem for a while, and I don't really like living out of a hotel. Maybe I--maybe I'll move in with you.

Rafe: Hey.

Carrie: Hi. Oh, sit down, please.

Rafe: Thanks.

Carrie: Let me tell you what's happened.

Rafe: What's up?

Carrie: Well, I found out-- I still can't believe she did it.

Rafe: She?

Carrie: Abigail. She lied. She and Austin never slept together.

Rafe: She lied? Wow.

Carrie: I know. It seems so out of character.

Rafe: That changes everything, doesn't it?

Carrie: Well, it means Austin didn't cheat--

Rafe: You don't have to explain. I get it. And now this gives Austin... and you a chance to work things out. I'm happy for you. I really am.

Sami: EJ, I saw Nicole storm off--obviously, things didn't go well.

EJ: She's filed for divorce, just so she can be with that--

Sami: Who? Are you serious? She's already hooking up with someone?

EJ: It's probably better that you hear this from me. I went to Nicole's hotel room last night. Rafe was there.

Sami: Oh. What was he doing there?

EJ: They're sleeping together, Samantha.

Sami: [Scoffs]

Kate: I think that I don't need anyone watching over me, Billie.

Billie: Well, what if I just said that because I didn't wanna say that I'm lonely and I wanna spend time with my mom.

Kate: Then I would say that I think I have a spare key. Oh, my God! Honey, when do you wanna move in?

Billie: How about today?

Kate: Oh, my God! That would be great.

Billie: Yay!

Kate: Ah! But don't you think it would've been a lot more pleasant if you had just said this and you just been honest about it in the beginning?

Billie: You're right. I should be a lot more like you.

Kate: Take it, take it, take it. I am so--oh, my God, I am so thrilled. I am gonna be so thrilled to have you there. I'm gonna call Harold, and I'll have him set up a room for you and...oh, Billie. Okay, I have to go to work, but I am gonna spend the whole day thinking of how wonderful it's going to be when I come home and have my girl there waiting for me.

Billie: Thank you, Mom. It'll be fun!

Kate: It will be. And I know you're gonna find out that you're wrong about Stefano.

Abe: [Sighs] You know, I thought I might never see this room again. I used to...close my eyes--

Lexie: Uh-huh.

Abe: Mm... and I would imagine this room. And you. It's the only way I could get to sleep in that place.

Lexie: Hmm. Hmm.

Abe: What?

Lexie: Ah. I was just thinking about how happy Theo's going to be when he come home and finds his daddy is back home and that we're back together again. This bed was a lonely place without you.

Abe: [Chuckling] Thank God for you. Oh, thank God!

Billie: It's me. I'm moving into the DiMera place today.

Man: And you know what to do when you get there?

Billie: Prove that the DiMera’s framed John and that they stole the pensions.

Man: Documents, emails-- whatever you can get your hands on.

Billie: Don't worry. Stefano and his son are going behind bars. I'm getting my mom the hell out of there.

Will: Okay.

Marlena: Okay. Yum.

Will: Well, um, I need to get to class. But...thank you for the advice.

Marlena: [Chuckles] I'll bill you for it. Minus your healthy little tip.

Will: Okay.

Marlena: Bye.

Will: I will call you later.

Marlena: I hope so. I'll look for--

Kate: Hey!

Will: Hello, hi. Um... I was just leaving.

Kate: You don't have a minute?

Will: No, sorry. I'm late for class.

Marlena: Hello, Kate.

Kate: He was confiding in you, wasn't he?

Marlena: Well, if Will were confiding in me, that really is confidential.

Kate: [Scoff] I know he's gay. And I know he's upset about it, Marlena.

Marlena: You know, I don't ask Will about his conversations with you. So maybe that would be a good thing to...make a two-way street.

Kate: Okay, I'm not a doctor. I am his grandmother, and I love him just as much as you do.

Marlena: I know you do. And when Will chooses to speak to you, he will. Now, please don't...

Kate: Please don't what? Don't push? Oh, thank you so much for your guidance. Because you know, I was going to give him a box set of the first three seasons of Will & Grace. How insensitive of me. Thank God I have you here to pass judgment on me.

Marlena: I'm not passing judgment. I'm just trying to protect the boy.

Kate: Protect the boy? Protect him from me? Let me tell you something, Doc. You try to come between me and my grandson, you'll be a very sorry woman.

Sami: You really are crazy, EJ. Come on, Rafe would not sleep with Nicole. He wouldn't stoop that low.

EJ: Samantha, I saw them the hotel room, both of them half naked.

Sami: Obviously, you were hallucinating.

EJ: No. Listen, I thought maybe it's a one-time thing. Yeah. And I come down here today, to the square, and I see both of them together, very close.

Sami: Are they just... doing it to get even with us? It's one thing...with my sister. But Nicole--I mean, the one woman I hate more than anyone on the planet. And we're not even divorced yet.

EJ: Come on, Samantha. It's not like your husband has a lot of class.

Sami: I just can't believe that he hates me that much. *************************************************************************************

Lexie: Now I really know you're back.

Abe: [Chuckling] Mm-hmm, for good.

Lexie: Hmm. I've missed you so much. We can't ever let anything come between us a--mm.

Abe: Lexie? What is it? What's wrong?

Lexie: A headache. Ooh! It just hit me out of the blue.

Abe: Are you all right?

Lexie: Ah! Yeah, uh, I'll be fine. Um, it just--it just came out of nowhere.

Abe: You know what? I'm gonna get you some aspirin, okay?

Lexie: Oh, okay, honey.

Abe: Just lay back, I'll be right back.

Lexie: Ooh! Ah. Mm.

Kate: Will is strong. Will doesn't need to be coddled. Will is going to accept the truth.

Marlena: I agree. And he will do that in his own good time.

Kate: Just stay out of my relationship with Will. As a matter of fact, stay out of all my relationships.

Marlena: What does that mean?

Kate: That means that something is going on between you and my husband, and I wanna know what it is.

Marlena: [Laughing]

Kate: Now!

Marlena: Ooh! Oh, my goodness. Kate.

Billie: Yoo-hoo! Is anyone home? Hello?

EJ: What the hell do you think you're doing in my house?

Carrie: Rafe, there's something you should know about Austin and me. Um, I'm not sure, really, if it's--

Sami: Unbelievable! Really? Rafe, how many women are you stringing along at the same time?

Rafe: What are you talking about?

Sami: Oh, don't play dumb. I know what you did. You had sex with Nicole.

Rafe: [Scoffs]
