Sami: Yeah, hey, Grandma, I'm home. How are the kids? Really? Oh, well, tell 'em I'm so excited to see them. Can't wait. I'll be there in a little bit, okay? Yeah, no, I'm definitely gonna be there soon. All right, bye. What the...? Um...
Kate: Welcome back.
Sami: Hey, Kate. Oh, uh, I'm just out of it. Uh, the flight was kind of crazy, and, um, now I have a new sympathy for sardines.
Kate: You poor thing. You must be exhausted.
Sami: Yes, yeah, it's been a long trip, but, um... yeah, I just came to put my stuff down, get ready for the meetings tomorrow, and then I'm gonna go see the kids.
Kate: So face time went well?
Kate: Okay. Tell me everything.
Sami: Um... let's talk about it tomorrow. You know, I have the meetings. We can talk about it tomorrow, and then I can... who's been using my desk while I was gone?
Kate: Oh, this isn't your desk anymore.
Billie: It's mine.
EJ: William, if you don't call me back, you can say good-bye to your apartment and your car and your job. You can take the bus to the homeless shelter.
Will: Hey. What's up? Sorry, I just got your message.
EJ: Which one? I left you five.
Will: Yeah, um... sorry, service was kind of spotty, so I'm here now. What do you want me to, uh, do?
EJ: I want you to make sure that when I call you, you pick up your telephone. Doesn't matter who you're with, doesn't matter what you're doing, you pick up. Okay? Now, I have a task for you.
Lucas: Save your breath, Elvis. You're not Will's boss anymore. I'm firing you... effective immediately.
Austin: Well, the deal was-- is that we were gonna walk and talk, and now we're walking, and you sure haven't said much.
Abigail: This is hard for me, Austin. The truth is...
Abigail: I think Carrie should hear this too.
Austin: Well, that's not gonna happen.
Kayla: Oh, hey, Brady.
Kayla: Hi. It's good to see you.
Brady: You too.
Kayla: How are you? Are you meeting somebody?
Brady: No, no.
Kayla: Oh. Well, then would you like a seat? [Chuckles]
Brady: I would love a seat. Thank you.
Kayla: Can I get you something?
Brady: Uh, anything-- anything tall and cold will do.
Kayla: All righty. Coming right up.
Madison: Don't keep holding on to something that's never gonna happen. Find someone else.
Brady: How could I have been so wrong about you?
Ian: Hello, darling. I wanted to surprise you.
Madison: Um... well, I'm surprised.
Abigail: I'm not trying to cause any more trouble for you and Carrie, I swear.
Austin: You couldn't if you tried. Carrie's with Rafe.
Chad: I will be right back, and if the waiter shows, order a latte for me, please.
Gabi: Yeah, will do.
Gabi: Ringer off. Melanie's not here. Life is good.
Kayla: Hello, Melanie. Are you looking for someone?
Melanie: Yes, um, I was supposed to meet Chad here.
Kayla: Ugh, and men always say us women are the ones who are late. Can I get you anything?
Melanie: I'm okay. Thank you.
Melanie: Hey, stranger. [Grunts] How's it going?
Brady: You don't want to know that.
Melanie: Oh. We're drowning our sorrows, yeah?
Brady: Don't you start with me, young lady.
Melanie: You want to be alone?
Brady: [Sighs] I think that's the best thing.
Melanie: Okay. Well, you know where I am if you need me.
Madison: After what you did, you think champagne and caviar are gonna fix it? This makes me want to throw up.
Ian: Listen, I-- I know you're hurt.
Madison: No, hurt doesn't begin to describe how I feel. I just said good-bye to the man that I love. I shut the door on him forever. You know what feels the worst? The way that I hurt him. The things I had to say to him. I broke his heart, Ian... because you made me. I can't even look at you. Are you gonna say anything? God!
Ian: Yes! I'm sorry.
Daniel: Honey, what are you doing?
Melanie: Hi--ooh, hi!
Daniel: Hi, baby.
Daniel: What're you doing here, eating alone?
Daniel: Can I join you? Pick off your food?
Melanie: Yeah, no, I'm waiting for Chad.
Daniel: Okay, say no more.
Melanie: No, um, you could join us.
Daniel: No, I'm good.
Melanie: Or, um, I feel like Brady maybe needs a friend right now.
Daniel: Oh, I think you're right.
Daniel: All right, okay. Wait--
Melanie: We'll talk later.
Melanie: Yeah, okay.
Daniel: Hey, uh, Brady. How's it going, man? Get you a drink?
Daniel: You, uh... you okay?
Daniel: You want to talk about it?
Brady: No, Daniel, I don't want to talk about it. But I do want to kill that bastard.
Madison: [Laughs] I must not have heard right. I thought I heard you say--
Ian: I said... I'm sorry.
Madison: What are you sorry for, Ian? Are you sorry for letting me out of your sight for too long? Are you sorry that you let me run Mad World on my own? Well, you're sure as hell not sorry about making me miserable. You seem to be taking great joy from keeping Brady and me apart.
Ian: I don't like to see you unhappy. I don't like to see this sad look on your face, it's the face-- it's the way you looked when I first met you.
Madison: Yeah. And you rescued me, and I owe you.
Ian: Oh, please let me finish.
Madison: Oh, fine, by all means, go ahead.
Ian: I keep thinking about our wedding, and our honeymoon. How you were smiling. How you gripped my hand tightly in yours when the plane took off. You were afraid to fly, but not after that day. We've gone to so many places-- 32 countries, including Liechtenstein.
Madison: Wow, I didn't realize you were counting, Ian.
Ian: Of course I was counting. Because it mattered. Everything that you do matters to me. I remember that night in Paris on the boat, sailing down the Seine, with the Musée d'Orsay lit up behind you.
Ian: Your face was glowing. You were smiling, you said you've never been so happy in all of your life. Were you happy? Were you happy, or was that just a lie?
Daniel: Okay, well, obviously the guy's a--is a world-class jerk.
Daniel: But we do know that killing him's not gonna solve anything.
Brady: Oh, I don't know about that. You know, I should've ended this whole thing a long time ago. But I didn't want to picture my life without her.
Daniel: Well, I hate to say I know how you feel, but--
Brady: Daniel, do you think I should take a surfing jaunt to Maui? That sounds pretty good. Looks like it helped you out.
Brady: That's what I need for my heart.
Daniel: Okay, okay, well, unless you can really surf, it's not gonna really help.
Brady: I don't think anything's gonna help, man.
Daniel: Okay, look, dude, I-- I know how you feel, I've been there, but now I'm on the other side, man. And I know you don't want to hear this right now, but it does, it gets better. It really--it really does.
Brady: [Clears throat] It gets better. Well, I don't believe you at all.
Sami: Billie. What are you doing here?
Kate: Well, while you were gone, I had the most wonderful idea of bringing Billie back to the company she founded years ago.
Sami: Oh. Uh--uh, welcome. Welcome back.
Sami: Yeah. You look amazing. I mean--I mean, I know you had the--the accident, and you look like your old self.
Billie: I feel like my old self.
Billie and Kate: [Laugh]
Sami: Good. And I'm at your desk now. Um... sorry.
Billie: Mom, I told you, I don't want you to change, do anything. I told you.
Kate: No, of course I'm going to change. I mean, yes, this is her desk until I can find you a bigger one. [Clears throat]
Sami: Uh, so, where am I supposed to sit?
Kate: You know, Sami, I'm kind of surprised that you would ask something like that after I just gave you such good news. I mean, if I had feelings, you'd be hurting them right now.
Billie: Mom, come on, I told you, I don't want to make waves. Let's just make this easy.
Sami: No. It doesn't bother me at all. I mean, please. I mean, it's just nepotism. It flourishes in Salem. Um, I was just... wondering, you know, since Billie's back... [Clears throat] do I still have a job here?
EJ: You're firing me as William's boss. Is that some quaint, little practice you picked up in Hong Kong?
Lucas: No, I came here to see my mom. Saw will pull in before I did, and I thought, you know what? This is a great time to set the record straight.
Will: It's okay, Dad. Seriously. You know, I'm--I'm grown up now, so you don't have to worry about my job for me.
Lucas: I'm your father. Fathers protect their sons. So, you can go ahead and find another lackey. He doesn't work for you anymore.
EJ: Then no two weeks notice? What about William's car? His apartment, his 401k?
Lucas: I'm sure he could earn those things working somewhere else.
EJ: Oh, I'm quite sure he can. I'm sure Boo and Cluck pay top dollar for their busboys.
Lucas: Go ahead and tell him, Will. Tell him you're out of here with me.
EJ: Yes, William. Let's hear it from you, hm? You tell me you want to leave, you're free to go.
Abigail: What do you mean Carrie's with Rafe now?
Austin: I am not gonna get into this with you, okay? Forget about Carrie. You said that you had something you wanted to tell me. Tell me. Not that anything you say could possibly make this better.
Kayla: More coffee?
Melanie: Oh, thank you.
Kayla: Did you just text Chad?
Melanie: Uh, maybe. He should've been here by now.
Kayla: Do you mind?
Melanie: Yeah, yeah.
Kayla: You know, call me old-fashioned, but that little black box right there... it does more than just text, surf, and tweet. I mean, this isn't really common knowledge, but you could actually talk to somebody on that. So, maybe you ought to just, you know, try that old-fashioned approach and, uh, give him a call. Okay.
Gabi: Hey, you know, I'm sorry that Melanie bailed on you today. But I mean, this sure beats what I was gonna grab at the dining hall tonight. Oh, that's cold. Oh...
Chad: Oh, are you cold?
Gabi: I'm freezing.
Chad: Do you want a jacket?
Gabi: Uh, would you go call our waiter? Because I asked for some lattes, but they never got here.
Chad: Oh, yeah, sure thing. Be right back.
Gabi: Okay. [Sighs] Another call from Melanie. Clumsy of me. I deleted it.
Chad: Okay, the waiter will be right over. I'm sorry about that.
Gabi: Oh, okay. No, that's not your fault. I mean, I'm having a great time just hanging out with you.
Kayla: Oh, what's the matter? You haven't figured out how to make that call yet?
Melanie: No--[Laughs] I did, I called him, like--like someone encouraged me to do.
Kayla: Ah, pushy people. Can't stand that.
Melanie: I know. No, he didn't answer. It went to voicemail, just like last time.
Kayla: Mm. I miss the good old days. You know, you just call, and people were either there, or they weren't.
Melanie: Yeah. You know, I think I'm gonna go old school and find him myself.
Kayla: Well, there's an idea.
Melanie: Yeah. Um, would you mind telling my dad I left?
Melanie: Um, okay. Thanks.
Kayla: Good luck.
Melanie: Thank you very much.
Kate: [Scoffs] Why are you so paranoid? Did you do something that I would want to fire you for?
Sami: No. Of course not, I just...
Kate: Well, Sami, you don't have to worry. There's plenty of work to go around.
Sami: Well, I thought I was actually handling things.
Kate: Well, just the other day, you told me that you felt overworked.
Sami: Yeah, well, I-- I didn't say that.
Kate: And besides, Billie really missed Salem.
Billie: Well, now that Lucas and Austin are home, I just felt like it was the perfect time to come back, and, well, Countess W was always my baby.
Billie: Oh, plus, I can't wait to see my niece and nephew. Oh, Will is so grown up, and Lucas sent me pictures of Allie. Oh, she is adorable.
Sami: [Laughs] Thank you.
Kate: You know, and there is actually another reason that I brought Billie back.
Sami: What's that?
Kate: I trust her.
Sami: As in you don't trust me?
Kate: Well, no. No, I meant that you were going to be working on finding that mole in the company, and I need to be around people I can trust. And who better than my baby, my flesh and blood?
Sami: Right. Of course.
Kate: Anyway, you find the mole who's in the midst of our company, and I will find you a very special place, I guarantee that.
Sami: I am working on it. Definitely.
Kate: Okay, good. Well, I want you to get to work, so I will let you go, and see you in the morning.
Sami: Oh, wait, um, Kate, look, hey, you know, I just had an idea. I'm focusing on finding this mole, and maybe Billie would want to do some of the out of town stuff. You know? I mean, you love to travel, right, Billie?
Kate: [Laughs] What you're doing so well? Absolutely not. Sami, you can do this. You just have to buckle down and work. Here, tonight.
Will: My dad doesn't really have much of a say in this, so I still want to work for you.
EJ: Assistant with backbone. I like it.
Lucas: You know, I'm sorry to say this, but I don't care what you want right now. I'm your father, and I say that this so-called job ends here and now.
EJ: Is that from father knows best, or was that from the Walton’s?
Lucas: You know what? You can stay out of this any time you want.
Will: Dad, Dad, Dad, hey, listen to me, okay? Dad, I love you. And I know you're just trying to help me, and I appreciate it. But I like my job. You know, and because of EJ, I got my own apartment, I got my own car, right, I got money, I got independence. And--and--and I like the things that he has me doing for him, because it's challenging. It's always different.
Lucas: He's blinding you to what's ahead. Just a matter of time before he has you committing arson, or maybe even killing someone. Is that what you want?
EJ: I don't think Samantha would be alive if that was the case.
Lucas: Come on, let's go.
Will: No. Dad, I'm sorry, I'm working for EJ. I never asked for your permission.
Madison: No, Ian, it wasn't a lie. I was happy. I was very happy. Look, you know, I grew up with nothing. And I was hungry. I was hungry for a pat on the back, you know? For some attention. For any kind of attention from you.
Ian: I still find it hard to believe I was the first person to stand up and notice you.
Madison: Well, you weren't... [Chuckles] you weren't some 20-year-old guy whose hobby was fixing bikes. You were so worldly. And smart, and charming, and... I just couldn't believe that someone like you was interested in someone like me. I just couldn't believe it.
Ian: But I was.
Madison: You really made me feel like I was worth something. I was worthy.
Ian: You are worthy.
Madison: I'm worthy of what, Ian? What am I worthy of? A man who cheats on me? Who sleeps with other women and flaunts it in my face? Who's only interested in using me?
Ian: That is not strictly true.
Madison: [Scoffs] Oh, it's not true, really? Come on! The first time--first time I found out about you being unfaithful to me, that was it. You ruined my trust. You destroyed it. And then when I found out about the next woman, and the next woman, and the next woman aft-- I just... somehow convinced myself it was okay to live that way. You know, I really--I didn't think it could get any worse. But it has. You know, because it got better, Ian. I met Brady, and he showed me what real love is.
Ian: I seem to recall you telling me the very same thing about us.
Madison: Yeah, but I didn't know any better! And now I do. And the minute I found something I love, something that made me happy, you took it from me. You destroyed me, once again. If you owe me anything, Ian, it's a real answer. Why? Why? You don't really love me. What the hell do you get from destroying my life?
Kate: Okay, here you go. I don't want to disturb you from your work, so I will see you... in the morning.
Sami: Look, Kate, I need to go home. I need to be with my kids.
Kate: Isn't it past their bedtime?
Sami: No. No, not yet.
Kate: Okay, Sami, I thought you understood that finding the mole is your number one priority.
Sami: It is. It is, but it's late, Kate. I haven't even eaten.
Kate: Okay, well, that's why vending machines are filled with sugar and caffeine, so I need you to go and grab yourself a Ho Ho, sit down in front of that computer, and start analyzing those emails. And if you find anything suspicious, flag it, and I'll look at it tomorrow.
Sami: Kate, I'm gonna put the I.T. Department on that tomorrow. Ryan and Tyler--they are perfect for this. And that new girl, Julia, she's fantastic.
Kate: No. No, no, absolutely not. Any one of them could be the mole, all right? I need you to personally search through everything. You're the only one I trust to do this, and when you find that mole, I guarantee you, you're going to get everything you deserve and more.
Lucas: You're not working for EJ, all right? I forbid it.
EJ: Well, that's very paternal of you, Lucas. Unfortunately, you don't really have a say in the matter. William can do what he wants. He wants to work for me.
Lucas: [Clears throat] I know you blackmailed him into this.
EJ: [Snickers] Ah. Well, that does explain why you're in a bit of a snit, I suppose. I mean, after all, you did move heaven and earth to protect William when he shot me. Even went as far as to turn yourself in for the crime. Let me ask you something about jail, if you don't mind. What was harder? Was it--was it doing the time, or was it having to fend off all of those gentleman callers?
Lucas: You know, I wish I did shoot you. Right now, you'd be dead.
EJ: Mm, but see, that's the prison reform system for you, William. Excuse me.
Lucas: You know, I paid Will's debt to society, and there's nothing you can use to keep him under your thumb anymore, so you either let him go, or I'll go to the media and I'll tell them everything.
Will: Mm-mm, Dad, come on.
EJ: Lucas...ahem... if you tell them everything, you're going to ruin that reputation of your son's that you worked so very hard to protect.
Lucas: I doubt the media will hear anything past "mayor" and "blackmail."
Will: Dad, come on. Please don't do this.
Lucas: Well, you know what, Will? It's up to EJ. It's his call.
EJ: I wouldn't worry about it, William. Your old man is not going to have to make good on his threat.
Lucas: Perfect. I knew you'd cave. Come on.
EJ: William, I'm letting you go. You're free to do whatever it is that you wish to do.
EJ: Yeah. Oh. [Clears throat] You can keep the car as well. And keep the apartment if you want to. I'll even keep quiet about your homicidal tendencies.
Lucas: Well, I'm gonna hold you to that. Come on, let's get out of here. Hey, come on. I said let's go.
Will: Uh... uh, sorry. Dad, I think I'm gonna stay here.
Abigail: I thought that if Carrie knew the truth about how drunk you were the night that you were with me that maybe it would make things better.
Austin: That's it. [Chuckles] That's what you made into this big deal that you had to get off your chest?
Abigail: Austin, I was just trying to help you.
Austin: I've told her all those things, Abby, and none of it matters. She is never gonna get over the fact that we slept together.
Abigail: I'm sorry that you have to go through this.
Austin: [Sighs] I just can't believe that I lost her. After all these years of being happy. And then...
Abigail: And then I came along?
Abigail: Austin, I'm still here. I am still right here. I care about you. You have no idea how much. And I love you. I would never leave you!
Austin: Okay, Abigail... this has to stop.
Austin: Do you understand me? This stops right now!
Chad: What, you're done? You had, like, two pieces of lettuce.
Gabi: Well, yeah, but we have that bikini shoot coming up.
Chad: Oh, come on, like you have anything to worry about? Hmm?
Gabi: Oh, so, I see that you've come to terms with this whole modeling thing. How come?
Chad: Well, I guess if I have to be in front of a camera, half-naked, with a beautiful woman all over me, I'm glad that woman is you.
Melanie: Hey, I knew I would figure out what you were up to.
Brady: Look, I get why Jennifer would still have feelings for Jack, but Madison. She doesn't love this guy. She can't possibly love this guy. I know who she loves. She loves me.
Brady: Why are you looking at me like--don't you look at me like that, like I'm crazy.
Daniel: 'Cause that's crazy, dude. No, listen, that's not what I'm saying, I'm not saying that. Look--and I understand. I get--I get that you're tearing yourself apart, trying to figure out why she's doing this, but trust me. It doesn't matter, man.
Brady: Of course it matters. It's all that matters.
Daniel: Why does it matter? Why does it matter? Do you really think you have her whole heart? Really? Really? And do you think that you can get completely past what she's done to you? Dude, dude, don't make the same mistake I made. Don't keep just rushing back into the--into the war zone. Turn your butt around, and just keep on going. Get on with your life, yeah? Look, trust me. You do that, it'll be the best thing for the both of you.
Ian: I still can't believe that you don't think that I want to be with you. Is this what he's done to you? He's turned you into this--this insecure, little girl?
Madison: No, stop it, Ian.
Ian: Have you any idea what you mean to me? I created you. You were nothing without me.
Madison: That is not true.
Ian: That is true. And I'm not gonna let somebody walk in here and reap the rewards of my hard work.
Madison: I see. You own me, is that right? Ian, do you have any idea how sick you are?
Ian: Don't you throw stones. And you stop testing me. If you think Brady's suffering now, then you have no idea.
Madison: Are you threatening Brady?
Ian: No. I'm just saying you're no good for him. You know it's true. Look what you've done to him. He's no good for you either. Look at you. He's turned you into a sniveling mess. I won't allow anyone to destroy the person that I love.
Madison: [Laughs] You're the one who destroyed me, Ian. How do you not see that?
Ian: I'll send someone up to clean up this mess. Good night.
Billie: Well, what's going on, ladies?
Kate: Nothing. You know what?
Kate: I just thought we could take Sydney, Johnny, and Allie out for dinner tonight.
Billie: Great idea.
Sami: That is a great idea.
Kate: No, I mean the two of us, I mean, you have to stay here and work.
Sami: But they're my kids.
Kate: I know. You see them all the time. We don't, Sami. [Laughs] And besides, we have that project that you're working on. And I also need a presentation of all the highlights of your trip, and I need that by tomorrow morning.
Sami: Kate, that alone will take all night.
Kate: Yeah, well, that's-- that's all right. Billie and I can put the kids to sleep.
Billie: Yeah. Oh, you know what? I brought a suitcase full of books for them to read.
Sami: But I--
Kate: Oh, good.
Kate: Listen, I really appreciate all the work you're putting in, I do. And I will see you in the morning.
Billie: Good night.
Sami: Yeah. [Scoffs] Bite me, bitches.
Lucas: I want you to think about what you're doing. Working for EJ is like sleeping with the enemy.
Lucas: You know what this family's like, you know what the DiMeras are like, and what they've put our family and our friends through. What Stefano did to your Grandma Marlena, what he did to your mom and Rafe... you really want to cast your lot with this guy?
Will: Yeah. Dad, I do.
Lucas: What is it, man? You afraid? Are you afraid of him, is that it?
Will: No, no! Dad, look, I don't know how many times I'm gonna have to say this, but I like working for him. Obviously, I didn't at first, because I didn't have a choice. But looking back, I'm glad of the way things turned out, because he's like--I mean, he's a great boss.
Lucas: He's what? He's a great boss? There are better bosses. And even better role models for you.
Will: I can't think of any.
EJ: William... thank you.
Lucas: Look, I'm your father. All right? I care about what direction your life's going, so... working for EJ is not the way to go.
Will: Look, no offense, Dad, but, um, it's a little too late for you to start telling me what to do, you know. You're talking about role models, you're not the perfect role model. I'm sorry. I am, but that's true.
Lucas: I know, I know. I haven't been here for you lately, I know that. And I'm really sorry. But I love you, and I want you to think twice about working for this idiot.
Will: Look, you said, "Sleeping with The Enemy"? Your mom is married to Stefano. So why--why are you freaking out because I'm working for a DiMera?
Lucas: Because it's different, all right? You don't know the history between your Grandma Kate and Stefano.
Will: You're right, I don't, but she loves him. And I love my job with EJ. Look, I don't care that he's a DiMera any more than I care that Chad is a DiMera. I mean, he has a bad rep.
Lucas: Yeah, yeah, he does, doesn't he?
Will: But I mean, I think he's an okay guy.
EJ: Thank you again, William. And you're a very valued employee.
Lucas: I can't believe this. I can't believe it's come to this.
Will: Look, maybe you're just, you know, upset because the man you called "the son of Satan" was here for me when you weren't.
Chad: I thought you were busy with Abigail, so Gabi and I decided to grab a bite.
Melanie: That's okay, I was. I called you, and I texted you.
Chad: What? Um... you never heard from me because my phone's been off. How the hell did that happen? Um... I mean, all that matters is that you're here now, so it's okay.
Melanie: Yeah, um, I'm so sorry I missed the Coffeehouse opening.
Chad: No, no, no, it's okay. It's just--all that matters is that you're here right now, okay? Still want to hang out?
Melanie: Um, but you and Gabi are having dinner.
Chad: Uh, we are finished. Right?
Gabi: Yeah. No, yeah, yeah, go hang out with Melanie.
Chad: Okay, uh, yeah, um, thanks so much. Let me, uh, get this.
Gabi: Oh, no.
Chad: Yeah, no, I got it. Thank you so much. I'll see you later.
Melanie: Your coat.
Chad: Ah, thank you. All right. Bye.
Gabi: See you.
Abigail: I don't understand. Why won't you be with me? If Carrie is with Rafe now, then we can be together finally.
Austin: Because one thing doesn't have anything to do with the other. And what you don't understand is that no matter what happens between Carrie and me, you and I can't be together, Abby. And I'm sorry. There never was an "us." And there never will be.
Billie: Wait, wait, wait. Before we get the kids from Caroline, what is going on with you and Sami? Come on. If you hate her so much, why would you make her top executive at Countess?
Kate: Okay. Sami and I bonded a little bit over the grandkids, all right? And she was working for Mad World at the time, doing a fantastic job. I decide to hire her away from Madison. Well, it turns out Madison and Sami set me up. Sami is the mole.
Billie: Oh, my God.
Billie: Well, why haven't you fired her?
Kate: Fired her? That isn't good enough punishment for her. No, I am going to make her suffer. And suffer she will, I guarantee you.
Will: I think you need to go, because EJ and I have some work to do.
Lucas: You know, you may have won this round. But it's just a matter of time before Will sees you for the sick bastard you really are.
EJ: Well, I can trust that you'll be there, camera in hand, ready to document the whole thing.
Lucas: Oh, yeah, I will. He's his own man, but if you hurt him in any way, you'll answer to me.
EJ: [Whistles] Well... congratulations. Your father's right. You, my boy, are your own man. Brandy?
EJ: Yes? Good. Lovely, we'll both have one. How about that? Like that. Cup it, swill it. I have big plans for you, William.
EJ: Big plans.
