Abigail: Carrie, you want me to tell you about my problems? That is just so sweet of you.
Carrie: Well, of course, I do. Abby, I care about you. So does Austin. Anything you tell me will stay between us.
Austin: Maybe it would be better if you spoke to someone closer to your own age-- I mean... not Carrie.
Carrie: Oh, thank you very much, Austin.
Abigail: Carrie's not that much older than me, and I would really appreciate your perspective.
Abigail: I would really like to tell you about what happened with this guy. The more I think about it, you're the perfect person to help me understand why he did what he did.
Carrie: I'll try. I can't tell you how many times your mother helped me when I was your age, and I hope you know you can tell me everything.
Abigail: I do. I really feel that way.
Lexie: There was a huge turnout at the polls. That's a good sign, honey.
Abe: For somebody.
Lexie: Sweetheart, you cannot tell me the people of this town are going to go into those booths and actually vote for EJ DiMera. Come on. Oh... that's strange.
Abe: What? What's wrong?
Lexie: Um, no, no, nothing's wrong--it's just Jennifer's in there talking with a guy I've never seen before. I thought I knew everyone on your campaign trail. Hmm. They look so serious.
Jennifer: David, thank you so much for meeting me here.
David: I can't stay long. I have to get back to the polling place.
Jennifer: No, I understand, and I'm sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. This is the first free minute that I've had.
David: So does the mayor want to beat EJ DiMera?
Jennifer: You know he does.
David: Good, 'cause as you know, I can make it happen. Do you want me to pull the trigger or not?
Man on TV: Initial reports claim--
EJ: What are you doing?
Stefano: I don't want to hear some talking head telling me something you should have told me before.
EJ: The polls haven't even closed yet, Father. There's nothing to hear.
Nicole: So you'll keep me in the loop, right? I'm not gonna be surprised when I turn the TV on? Thank you, Andy. I won't forget this.
EJ: Who's Andy?
Nicole: Oh, just my guy at the election commission. He's gonna text me right before they go live with the returns.
Stefano: Oh, what's all this?
Kate: Well, I didn't want you to have an insulin reaction because you're busy watching the election returns and forgot to eat. Oh, mwah.
EJ: So they don't have any information yet?
Nicole: Just the exit polls I'm having the staff conduct.
Nicole: [Clicks tongue]
EJ: [Clicks tongue] We make a good team, you and I.
Nicole: Oh, yeah?
Nicole: Wow. I have just been kissed by the next mayor of this fair city. I'm so lucky.
Stefano: Mmm. You sound very confident. But, uh... the truth of the matter is, you haven't done anything to make sure that he wins, have you?
Nicole: If you're referring to the fact that I didn't take you up on your offer to buy the election, well...
EJ: Of course he's referring to that.
Nicole: Well, EJ doesn't need that kind of help.
Kate: You sound so confident.
Nicole: Of course I am. Why wouldn't I be? EJ's a great candidate. We've run a good, clean campaign, and... Abe's a great guy, but--
Stefano: Well, that is debatable.
Nicole: But... Salem needs a mayor who can get things done.
Kate: You don't have to campaign, Nicole. We already voted for the man.
Stefano: You know, this plan of yours of playing by the rules--well, we're just going to have to wait and see what happens, huh?
Nicole: Stefano, the only chance EJ had was to distance himself from you.
EJ: She's right. Can't afford a hint of a scandal. Abraham Carver's going to be a one-term mayor, and there's nothing that he or his little team can do about that.
Stefano: Well, as I said, we'll see.
Abe: You know, maybe she's setting up an interview.
Lexie: Oh, yeah, that must be it--an exclusive interview with the man who kicked EJ DiMera's butt.
Abe: [Laughs] I like your attitude... but he is your brother.
Lexie: Yeah, and--I mean, I do love him, okay? But look, I wouldn't vote for EJ for dogcatcher. [Both laugh] I think the people of this town are going to breathe a huge sigh of relief once the votes have been counted.
[Cell phone ringing]
Lexie: Oh. I need to call the hospital. Do you want to get us a table?
Abe: Uh, I'll wait for you.
Jennifer: David, you know that I would do anything to make sure the mayor serves another term.
David: And I don't want this city in the hands of that thug.
Jennifer: But I spoke to Abe, and even though we don't want EJ to win, we can't cooperate with rigging the vote count.
David: You understand I'm not going to do a thing unless I see that Carver's losing?
Jennifer: Right, but if that's how Abe wins the election, how is he different from EJ?
David: [Sighs] Okay. I just hope you and the mayor aren't making a mistake.
Jennifer: Why do you say that?
David: The exit polls-- they don't look good. If you change your mind, you know how to reach me.
Jennifer: Yeah. [Sighs]
Abe: Bad news? I guess so.
Jack: Austin, why don't you and I take a walk and let these ladies talk?
Austin: Um, yeah. Yeah, sure.
Jack: Good. Listen... I'll go check in with your mom, and if you need anything...
Abigail: I'll be fine, Dad.
Jack: Yeah, I know you will. Thanks.
Jack: Austin, let's...
Austin: I'll see you over there.
Austin: Okay, well, I'll just--I'll see you later.
Abigail: Austin, wait. You don't have to go.
Austin: Oh, yes, I do.
Abigail: No. You don't. You and I work together, so... I don't see any reason why you can't hear what I have to tell Carrie.
Carrie: Yeah, and a guy's point of view could be great, I mean, especially if the guy she likes is one of your students.
Austin: You know, Carrie, I really don't think so. I think--
Carrie: How do you know? Isn't it at least possible that you know the guy that broke her heart?
Nicole: Good. So it sounds like you're on top of things. Okay, thanks, Will. Oh. Hello.
Kate: You know, I just want to tell you, I do appreciate you and EJ making a job for Will.
Nicole: Yeah, well, he's a-- he's a smart kid. EJ sees his potential. He wants to take him under his wing.
Nicole: Oh, dear, what's so funny?
Kate: Well... no, actually, it's just that I'm visualizing Sami's face if she heard that. My son wouldn't be too keen on it either.
Nicole: What? You don't approve?
Kate: No, actually, on the contrary. This is going to give me a chance to see my grandson on a regular basis. Will thrived when he lived under this roof. And who knows? Maybe EJ will be a good influence on him.
Nicole: Stranger things have happened.
Nicole: Okay, so I'm gonna go upstairs and, uh, freshen up for the Victory party.
Kate: Nicole, one more thing...
Nicole: Mm... yeah?
Kate: Well, I just wanted to say, you're a good influence on EJ as well.
Nicole: I'm sorry. I think I've been working too many long hours. Did I just hear you say that I actually got the Kate Roberts-DiMera stamp of approval?
Kate: Okay, don't get all choked up about it. Just because I say you're a good influence on EJ doesn't mean that I've changed my impression of you in the slightest.
Kate: I just thought I should give you your due.
Nicole: For what?
Kate: Well, I think EJ has actually fallen in love with you, which, for me, means that he's a hell of a lot easier to get along with.
Nicole: Okay, since we're being honest with each other, I can't stomach you either, but it seems you've been a good influence on Stefano. He actually seems civilized. 'Cause when I lived here before, that was so not the case.
Kate: So now, I guess, we've each managed to give the other one a compliment.
Nicole: I guess so.
Both: Oh, my God.
EJ: Do you think we can put the sound back on the television, please?
Stefano: No, there's no breaking news.
EJ: Why don't we take a moment to talk, then?
Stefano: Oh, talk.
EJ: Look, I know that you hated the fact that I kept you in the background.
EJ: But, father, you have a rather colorful reputation around town...
EJ: More so even than me.
EJ: It was important that you were seen to move into a, you know, more genteel retirement.
Stefano: It's better for the DiMera brand. Yeah, I get it.
EJ: Yeah. I'm not just doing this for me. This is not for me. This is not to get custody of my children. This is for you as well. Look... you think I'm that excited about being mayor of Salem? [Scoffs] Please. [Laughs] But it's a first step. You know, from mayor, we can go to governor.
Stefano: All right, but you see, what you're trying to do to make things legitimate for the family--that is very honorable.
EJ: And it would have been a lot easier if John Black had stayed in prison, right?
Stefano: That's not what I was going to say.
EJ: Oh, why not? Hmm? It's true. If I was still pursuing this class-action suit against John, Abe wouldn't be able to go out there on his little soapbox and tell everybody that the only reason that I wish to become mayor is so that I can make the rich people richer. And when I find out how John got out of jail, let me tell you something--
Stefano: No, look--
EJ: No, let me--
Stefano: Please, will you forget about John Black? He is not gonna help you get elected, all right? You will do it on your own good name.
Kate: Good name? You're not becoming a pillar of the community, are you? I had such high hopes for you, my love.
EJ: Oh, don't worry, mummy. Despite my public persona, I stop at nothing to get what I want, and Abraham over there-- he knows it.
Abe: Who was that guy? What did he tell you?
Jennifer: It's my, uh, contact--David. He covers the north side precincts for me.
Jennifer: And... he said you're falling behind in the exit polls.
Jennifer: But you know what, Abe? Most people--they're not even honest at the exit polls, especially in this election.
Abe: What do you mean?
Jennifer: I don't know. Maybe--maybe they want Stefano to think that they didn't go on record saying they voted against his son. But you know what? It is not over yet, Abe.
Abe: [Sighs] You know, just the idea that EJ can win this thing...
Lexie: What's going on?
Abe: Uh... well, you know that guy that Jennifer was talking to--he's a poll watcher, and, well, he says that EJ is ahead in the exit polls right now.
Lexie: So? I mean, that could change in a heartbeat.
Abe: Unemployment is up. People are not happy about it.
Lexie: Yeah, but, honey, that's not your fault.
Abe: Still, I think we... might have to get used to the idea I could lose.
Lexie: No, no, no, stop. I don't accept that, okay? It can't happen. There is no way the people in this town are going to let my father and my brother control the politics here. Oh, what time is it? I've got to call and check on Theo. I'll be right back, okay?
Jennifer: Abe, I'm so sorry.
Abe: Yeah, well, I am too. You know, I do wish we had handled a few things differently and not stooped to EJ's level.
Jennifer: What, the debate? Abe, you know what? I-I feel uncomfortable about that too, but it helped us. You are running against the heir to a crime syndicate. That is the first time that we ever strayed from the straight and narrow.
Jennifer: Yeah, so, if we lose, you know what? It doesn't matter, because we fought the good fight, Abe.
Lexie: Okay, would you stop with all this negative talk? All right, Abe isn't conceding anything. Right, honey?
Abe: That's right.
Lexie: That's right.
Jennifer: I don't know why Abe didn't come with us. You know, that's why I-I hired a car and a driver--just to make the day easier for him.
Lexie: Yeah, well, driving relaxes him.
Jennifer: Yeah. Yeah, it's a good time for him to be alone.
Jennifer: Maybe he's working on his acceptance speech.
Lexie: Yeah. Let's hope he gets to make it.
Jennifer: You're more worried than you let on.
Lexie: [Sighs] Okay, how can anyone actually vote for EJ DiMera? Right? I mean, come on, the man had to give up custody of his children because of the way he lives his life.
Jennifer: Lexie, incumbents have an uphill battle in this economy, even the good guys like Abe.
Lexie: Yeah, yeah, I know. But Salem is one of the few cities in the state that didn't lay off teachers, firefighters, I mean, cops.
Jennifer: I know, Lex.
Lexie: How could the people just vote off a good man?
Jennifer: Wait, Lexie. They didn't do anything yet. Look at me. We have to keep the faith, okay?
Jennifer: Just relax. Just breathe.
Lexie: Hi, Jack.
Jack: You all ready for a Victory party?
Lexie: Yes, we are. Yeah. Um, would you excuse me? I want to check the parking lot, see if Abe's here yet.
Jack: Everything all right?
Jennifer: Oh, yeah. We're just, uh-- we're so nervous right now.
Jack: What are you talking about--Mayor DiMera? Give me a break. Abe's gonna win this thing hands down.
Jennifer: Where's Abigail? She was with you.
Jack: She's talking to Carrie.
Jennifer: Oh, Carrie Reed?
Jack: Well, I just thought she needs to get a little bit of advice. Did you know that she was seeing somebody after Chad?
Jennifer: Well, I-I knew she was interested in someone.
Jack: Well, that someone managed to break her heart.
Jennifer: What? My poor baby.
Jack: Yeah, yeah, I'm ready to strangle the little jerk, but, uh... I figure, you know, I get her to talk to a slightly older woman, she can give her some words of wisdom.
Jennifer: Oh. She could have talked to me.
Jennifer: Why do you say that?
Jack: Well, Jennifer, you're her mother. Besides, she's still mad at you about the Mad World thing.
Jennifer: No, I know, but--
Jack: Listen, trust me. Carrie's gonna be great. It's gonna really help Abigail to talk to someone who's completely neutral.
Abigail: Well, um... I was still with Chad when I met him, so I didn't want to like him, but I... I couldn't help myself.
Abigail: He's older, for one thing. And he got to me in this way that guys my age never do. He seemed really interested in everything I had to say and... and what I was feeling. It was like... like it really mattered to him. When we were together, I had no track of time or anything. And then when we were apart, I... I couldn't stop thinking about being with him again.
Carrie: Oh, boy.
Abigail: I know what you're thinking. I know this sounds just like some stupid crush, but I've had plenty of those, and this is completely different. It wasn't like that. I thought he was... I thought he was the one.
Carrie: Did he--did he say he felt the same way?
Abigail: Yeah, yeah, he did.
Carrie: But then...?
Abigail: But then I saw him kissing someone else.
Stefano: [Sighing] Ay-yi-yi. Look, once you are declared winner, I hope that you will not forget that your sister is married to Mr. Carver.
Kate: It's a lousy job, but someone has to do it.
Stefano: Yeah, because she's going to be terribly, terribly disappointed--I know. And so is Theodore. And I have to admit, you know, I mean, they are very important to me.
EJ: No, I know, Father. To me too. Look, of course I'll be sensitive to Alexandra. But she needs to understand that Abraham's time has come and gone.
Kate: Well, the election's over. The results are in. What do you think the mood is at the Carver Headquarters? You think Abe knows it's over?
Nicole: So you'll text me right before it goes to press? Thank you, Andy. I really, really owe you. They're ready to announce the winner.
Abe: Well, this is our home, and it's Theo's home. And I want to make sure that... his generation... is not worse off than we were.
Lexie: And that is exactly what would happen with EJ as mayor. The people know that, honey.
Abe: Yeah, you're right. You know, I think I'm gonna win this thing.
Lexie: I know you are.
Jack: Hey, hey, hey, get a room at the Salem Inn!
Jennifer: No, you can't right now, because the election commission is about to call the winner.
[Cell phone ringing]
Jennifer: [Gasps] Oh, gosh. This is it.
Nicole: It's Andy again.
[Cell phone ringing]
Nicole: Are you ready, Mr. Mayor? Hey, Andy. Give me the good news.
Carrie: Oh, honey, so this guy--he was seeing someone else, and you didn't even know?
Abigail: No, it wasn't exactly like that. Um... I knew that there was another woman in the picture, but... he led me to believe that it was over with her. He was really sweet to me. And... I don't know--I got the feeling that he loved me the same way that I loved him. But it turns out he just wanted one thing. I feel really stupid now.
Carrie: Don't feel stupid. You were in love.
Abigail: Yeah, I was, for the first time in my life.
Carrie: And he--he's older than you. He had been around more than you. This is completely on him, Abigail. Can you--can you believe this? What an ass!
Austin: Pbbt. You can say that again.
Jennifer: Yes, yeah, I'm still here.
EJ: So? What is it?
Nicole: I told you I'm still on hold. Yes, of course I'm still here. Where else would I go? Now tell me who won.
Jennifer: Yes, he is still with me. Uh, I will tell him. Thank you.
Abe: All right... tell me what?
Jennifer: It was close, Abe. It was really closer than anyone predicted. But you did it, Mr. Mayor. You won!
Lexie: See? Oh, I told you!
Jennifer: You just made EJ DiMera an ordinary citizen again.
Lexie: Well, I mean, he'll never be that. Oh, sweetheart, honey, you did it!
Abe: Oh, we did it. We did it. We did it. We did it! We did it!
Stefano: Well, don't keep us in suspense, Nicole.
Nicole: I... I'm so sorry, EJ.
EJ: What? [Muttering] No. There--there--there has to be some... mistake.
Nicole: The election commission certified the results. They're about to announce it on TV.
Kate: I thought you were sure.
Stefano: Yes, well, obviously she doesn't know what the hell she's talking about.
EJ: Stop, all right? This is just--this is not possible, Nicole!
Carrie: Austin, are you gonna say anything?
Austin: I'm just trying to figure out how to put it. From a guy's perspective, I think that there's a distinct possibility that he's not quite as calculating as he sounds.
Abigail: You do?
Carrie: What do you mean?
Austin: I mean, maybe he didn't realize he was leading you on... and didn't mean to let things get so far.
Carrie: Oh, come on.
Austin: Hey, Carrie, you know, sometimes guys get carried away too, don't they?
Carrie: He was older, Austin. It was his responsibility not to get carried away.
Abigail: You know, the first time he kissed me, I could hardly breathe afterward. And I know he felt the same way. I know he did. He wasn't thinking about anyone else but me.
Austin: And then maybe he realized that he couldn't destroy what he had with the other--other woman. And he just didn't know how to tell you.
Carrie: Why are you defending this jerk?
Austin: I am not. I am not defending him. I just want Abigail to know that she didn't do anything wrong. Sometimes things just don't work out.
Abigail: Oh, okay. So then from a guy's perspective, it's totally fine that he just used me and threw me away and went on to his happy little life, then, right?
Austin: I'm not saying that--
Abigail: I'm still in love with him, Austin. So what am I supposed to do?
EJ: Well... that was not supposed to happen.
Stefano: So... all the assurances that you gave me... [Clears throat] That you did not need my help... and that the election was a forgone conclusion-- all of that, that--that's all wrong now, huh?
EJ: See, I thought that everything was under control. I thought everything was in place.
Stefano: And yet you lost. Huh? Okay, so somebody-- somebody must have dropped the ball. So what I want to know-- my question to you is, what are you going to do about it?
Nicole: I don't know... but I'm gonna start getting some answers.
Stefano: Yeah, sure. Exit polls, right? [Chuckles] Finding out how many people vote. Sure. Yeah. Good.
EJ: Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's not as effective as bribery, threats, intimidation.
Stefano: You want to know something? Sometimes the old ways are the best ways.
EJ: I'm going to find out what happened, okay?
Stefano: Well, I certainly hope so, because your losing this is a real knockdown.
EJ: You think I don't know that?
Stefano: You know something? You did this not only for yourself, you know. You also did it for your children and for me! Don't tell me. I don't want people going around saying that, uh, uh, Stefano's son is not enough on the ball to become the mayor of this dinky, little town.
Kate: Stefano, stop.
Stefano: No! Your idea for the family was a great one. But what did you do? Huh? What? You put it in the hands of a martini-swilling bimbo, just because you've been in bed with her. [Groans]
EJ: That's enough.
Stefano: I'm just getting started... because... [Sighs] Elvis, you botched it up, don't you understand? From top to bottom, botched it up.
Abe: You were the first person I called when I got the news. Yeah, well, mommy and I are gonna be home later, and then we'll celebrate. Yeah. Oh, I love you, buddy. Yeah. Here--here's your mama.
Lexie: Hi, sweetheart. Isn't it great? Daddy won!
Jennifer: Well, I can't really give you an exact time until I speak to the mayor. Yes, that's right. Thank you.
Lexie: Well, make sure you watch daddy's speech on TV tonight. Okay, sweetheart, we love you. Bye-bye. Oh, that's one happy little boy!
Jennifer: Wow. We did it.
Jack: You sure did. I'm proud of both of you. [Laughter] Hey, listen, can I help you handle that mob of reporters over there?
Jennifer: Yes, please.
Jack: All right. Congratulations, Mr. Mayor.
Abe: Thank you. Thank you.
Lexie: You see? Was I right, or was I right?
Abe: Oh, you were right.
Lexie: Mm-hmm. Sometimes when you play by the rules and are a person of honesty and integrity, it actually works. Would you excuse me? I want to call the hospital, let them know that I won't be available tonight. I'll be right back, okay? Okay.
Arnie: Mayor Carver. Arnie Jacobson. I'm a reporter and a friend of Jennifer Devereaux's.
Abe: Oh, right, right. She talked to me about you.
Arnie: Well, I should think so. I'm the guy who got you the debate questions in advance.
Abe: Well, thank you for your support.
Arnie: Oh, no problem. I'm just sorry I couldn't send DiMera the fake debate questions, but, uh, it looks like you were able to do that all on your own. Congratulations, mayor. I'll talk to you soon.
Lexie: Please tell me what he just said isn't true.
Carrie: Oh, Abigail, of course you feel like you were used by this guy. I mean, after the way he treated her, how could she not?
Austin: I just think that this guy probably feels horrible himself. Maybe he hasn't had a chance to explain himself.
Carrie: Austin, come on. I mean, not all guys are like you.
Abigail: You know, I want to be mad. I do, but, um... I can't get there... 'cause I'm just really hurt. He wants to pretend like I'm this mistake that he has to sweep under the rug and forget about. But I was imagining spending my life with this man. So I'm such an idiot.
EJ: I'm not going to stand here and listen to you say "I told you so."
Stefano: What are you going to do?
EJ: The same thing that I always do, Father-- find out what happened, and I'm going to see what I can salvage.
Stefano: Well, maybe Abe can appoint you to the school board. [Exhales deeply]
Kate: You were pretty tough on him.
Stefano: Hey, listen... every time that he asks to be on his own, he lets me down.
Kate: That class-action suit was a crucial part of EJ's strategy, and it's not his fault that John Black managed to walk on the charges.
Stefano: Why are you sticking up for Elvis, huh? I mean, this is something that he could have taken in stride. He could have proved to everybody that he was the man to run this town... instead of being a lapdog to the... Bradyís and the-- the other bunch, whatever the hell their name is.
Kate: The Bradyís and the Hortonís do things their way. We do things our way. But whatever happened to EJ today, this is still his family.
Nicole: Look, you told me there would be no surprises. You fix this. You fix this, or you deal with me. [Sighs]
Abe: I don't know what you think you heard.
Lexie: I'll tell you what I heard--that what EJ and Nicole said was true. You got the debate questions in advance, and you made sure that EJ got the wrong ones.
Abe: We didn't feel we had a choice.
Lexie: I can't believe this.
Abe: We found out EJ was going to go all out. He was trying to get the debate questions in advance. We decided we had to make a preemptive strike. If we hadn't, EJ would have come off looking polished and prepared, and I would have looked like some--
Lexie: Like an honest man?
Abe: Do you know how sick I am of EJ's dirty tricks? How it feels to always be turning the other cheek? And for once-- for once, Lexie... I want to go one-on-one.
Lexie: Yeah, well, you did that. You acted just like him! I told Theo tonight that doing the right thing, that playing by the rules, that acting with honesty and integrity actually works, okay? I told him that that's what you did, Abe. It was a lie.
Abe: Lex, listen to me...
Lexie: You lied-- you lied to the people who voted for you, Abe. You lied to me.
Abe: Lexie, if you give me a chance, I-I-I know that I can make you understand--
Lexie: No, I don't--
Jennifer: Okay, it's all set up. Ready for your Victory speech?
Jennifer: Yes. Now. Abe, this is your moment. What are you waiting for?
Lexie: You'd better go.
Carrie: Don't ever think that you were dumb for falling in love. I'm--I'm sorry. I don't even know this guy, but I can tell you he's not worth shedding a lot of tears over, okay? You deserve so much better.
Abigail: Yeah, I guess.
Carrie: You do. Oh, God, I also feel so sorry for this other woman. She probably has no idea that this guy that she's with is complete scum. Come here.
EJ: I'm not making a concession speech because I'm not conceding anything. Call me back.
Stefano: Did you find out what happened? I mean, how could carver beat you like that?
Kate: Give him a chance to talk.
EJ: Hold on. Here... Abe's making his acceptance speech.
Stefano: Certainly don't want to miss that.
Abe: Thank you. Thank you all. Thank you. Thank you for coming. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you very much. I stand before you... filled with gratitude. I'm deeply grateful to you all for giving me the opportunity to serve as your mayor for four more years. And I promise that I will do my very best to live up to your faith in me. I'm also grateful for the support I've had during this campaign. I, uh... I don't know what I would have done without the help and wise counsel of Jennifer Deveraux and her staff.
Abe: Thank you, Jen. Thank you for... well, for helping me run a successful and straightforward campaign. And another person who inspires me every day... my partner for life, the mother of my son, Theo... the woman who stands beside this man... Dr. Lexie Carver.
[Cheers and applause]
Abe: Come on up here. Come on up, Lex. Come here, sweetheart.
All: [Chanting] Lexie! Lexie! Lexie! Lexie! Lexie!
Jennifer: Lexie, come on, go up there. You have been waiting for this for so long. Go!
All: Lexie! Lexie! Lexie! Lexie! Lexie! Lexie! Lexie! Lexie! Lexie! Lexie! Lexie! Lexie! Lexie...
Abe: She's a little shy right now, folks, so make her feel welcome. Come on, come on.
All: Lexie! Lexie! Lexie...
Kate: Why is she just standing there?
EJ: She probably can't believe what's happening.
Stefano: I wish I could feel happy for her.
EJ: Hey. That should have been us.
Nicole: It will be us... sooner than you think.
