Daniel: Hey, roman. I'm just about to examine the latest stalker victim.
Roman: Yeah, I'm glad I caught you.
Daniel: Latest stalker victim. I mean, I can't believe I nonchalantly just said that. She's in a coma. I don't even know her name. I mean... oh, my god. Oh, my god.
Maggie: So what's with the suitcase?
Jennifer: Oh, I just--I, uh, brought you some things, since you decided to stay, from your house.
Maggie: Mm, that's so sweet.
Jennifer: Yeah, I just-- I didn't really know how much I should bring.
Maggie: Ah, so which is code for now that I have decided to stick around, how long am I gonna be here?
Jennifer: Aunt Maggie, list-- I said that I would stay out of this, and I will stay out of this. But if your African violets need to come to my house in which I will certainly kill them, I just need to know.
Victor: Talking about me? I'm in the room.
Maggie: Oh, you think you're so interesting. Hmm, what's in that package?
Victor: I have no idea. It's not for me.
Maggie: Well, you shouldn't have.
Victor: I didn't.
Victor: It's for you.
Jennifer: What? What--who did this?
Maggie: Who even knew you were gonna be here?
Daniel: [Sobbing] I don't--I don't understand. I just--I don't-- it does not make sense to me.
Roman: Not to me either. I'm so sorry. I didn't want you to find out this way.
Bo: Our sketch artist is pretty darn good, so all you have to do is relax, take your time, and just tell him what you remember.
Mandy: Um, am I going to the police station?
Hope: Nope. We're gonna have dr. Jonas take a look at you. If he still feels you're up to it, the sketch artist will come here. Mandy, what is it? What's wrong?
Mandy: Is that where she is-- the other girl that attacked?
Hope: Yes. Yes, it is.
Mandy: I heard she's in a coma. If I hadn't gotten scared, I would've said something to you sooner. I just keep thinking she won't be in there now.
Bo: Shh, shh. It's okay. That might be just the thing to help her remember everything.
Hope: Or we could lose her completely.
Lexie: So, why don't we sit down? I can see how anxious you are to hear what I have to say.
Male announcer: Like sand through the hourglass, so are the days of our lives.
Rafe: Sami, honey, why don't you sit down?
Sami: Because she has my life in that file folder. And sitting down isn't gonna change that.
Lexie: I realize that, but--
Sami: Please just tell me. I have four kids I have to think about, and I just want you to give it to me straight. Do I have cancer or not?
Lexie: I just thought that maybe you'd wanna be sitting down when I tell you that although there were some abnormal cells in the tissue we sent to the lab. There is no evidence of cancer.
Rafe: Oh, my god. Oh, my god. Did you--did you hear that??
Lexie: The oncologist says you are clean. There are no cancerous cells. You're fine.
Hope: Talk to me.
Mandy: When you'd asked me all those questions, I was only thinking about what happened to me.
Hope: Why wouldn't you be worried about that? Mandy, look what happened to you.
Mandy: But with her in there now, that's on me.
Hope: No! No, no, it is not. Do you hear me? It's not. What happened to that poor woman in there and what happened to you, that's on the lunatic who beat you both. And then left you there for dead.
Mandy: I blew it with those mug shot books.
Hope: No, you didn't blow anything. You said he wasn't there. That's something.
Mandy: I didn't get you anything.
Hope: Well, you see, the thing is about us cops is that we always have a plan B. Working with a sketch artist is completely different than pointing at a mug shot and saying "that's him." The sketch artist will draw the shape of a face, a nose, a chin. And you'll simply say "that's it" or "that isn't it." Not so bad, right?
Mandy: Tell your artist I'm ready when he is.
Hope: Okay. Good girl.
Daniel: No change.
Roman: You okay?
Daniel: Why her?
Roman: We don't know. Maybe our perp has moved on from hookers.
Daniel: So I guess you know what happened between us.
Roman: Yeah, how can I not? My mother was right in the middle of all that.
Daniel: I know Caroline just shined the light on it, but what happened...had nothing to do with her.
Roman: Know that we are pulling out everything we can pull out to get this guy.
Daniel: Then you do more. I don't care if you break the rules, break the law. Just do it. And when you find this animal that did this to her... you make him suffer. My doctor told me calcium
Good evening, ms. Alamain. How lovely to see you.
Vivian: Thank you.
If you follow me, I set aside a very special table for you and your guest.
Vivian: Perfect, perfect. Oh, lovely! Thanks. Ah. Gus, what are you doing?
Gus: Sitting down.
Vivian: Did you think this reservation was for us?
Gus: You said a table for two.
Quinn: Hello, mum.
Vivian: Hello, darling.
Quinn: Sorry I'm late.
Vivian: That's all right.
Quinn: Hey, Russ. Good seeing you again.
Gus: Gus. It's Gus.
Quinn: Yeah, whatever.
Vivian: I've been looking forward to this all day.
Jennifer: [Gasps] Oh, my goodness.
Maggie: Oh, it's gorgeous.
Victor: Not only is he a good detective, he's got good taste.
Jennifer: And I think I know who it is. Someone who knew that I was coming here and someone who knows this address very well.
Maggie: And someone who knows your size. Well, it's true. So what's the card say? Mm-mm. Your secret admirer.
Victor: Well, now you'll never figure it out. There are so many.
Jennifer: That's very sweet, Victor, but I think I can narrow it down.
Maggie: Oh! So I'm guessing there's a purpose behind the dress.
Jennifer: Let's see. The candles are lit for our special date at chez rouge, Maggie's place. "Put on the dress and meet me at 8:00, I'll be looking for your beautiful face."
Maggie: Oh, he wrote you a poem.
Victor: Whoever he is, he needs a kick in the pants.
Jennifer: Hey, I don't think you wanna kick your godson in the pants. I love it. I love it, I love it, I love it.
Roman: Can you do anything for her?
Daniel: I don't know.
Roman: Well, you looked at the charts. You've seen her. Any idea what lies ahead for her?
Daniel: You mean, when's she gonna come out of it? I don't know. With these injuries, it's not a matter of when. It's if.
Roman: Okay, so what you're saying is the longer she's like this--
Daniel: Yeah, that's what I'm saying. The first thing I noticed about her... was how passionate she was. How alive.
[Cell phone ringing]
Roman: All right, Daniel. I've got a sketch artist here to work with Mandy. I wanted you to sign off on her being able to do that. I'm sorry to pull you away from here.
Daniel: That's all right. You know what, you go and I'll-- I'll find you.
Roman: Okay. Good.
Daniel: Great. Come on. Come on, baby. Come on, you have fought your way back before. Wake up, please! Please. Wake up.
Sami: I'm okay. I'm okay! I'm okay. I'm okay, right?
Rafe: Oh, my god. I feel like I can breath again.
Sami: I just wanna hold my kids thank you so much, Lexie. Let's get outta here.
Lexie: Um, Sami.
Sami: You know what, Lexie, you're right, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. God, I'm sorry for everything. And I really apologize, but you have been great through all of this. Thank you...so much. Let's go.
Lexie: Hey, wait, wait. Before you go... there's something I need to explain to you.
Lexie: You did have benign cysts on your ovaries.
Sami: Right, but you got them all out.
Lexie: Yes, but... it's very important for you to see your gynecologist every six months, just to have everything checked out.
Sami: Right, yes. Awesome, thank you.
Lexie: Hey, Sami, did you hear what I said?
Rafe: Yeah, gyno every six months. Check-ups, yeah.
Lexie: It's very important.
Lexie: You got it?
Sami: Lexie, I got it.
Lexie: Okay. Get outta here. Go celebrate.
Sami: Wait, there is one thing I just have to do. For one more second.
Roman: Yeah, I don't care. I did authorize that O.T. I don't care. Get it done. What?
Sami: Daddy, I'm okay. I'm all right.
Sami: Dad--dad, I'm okay.
Roman: Oh, my god. You're sure. You are 100% sure.
Sami: Dad, the lab is sure and the oncologist and Lexie-- they are all sure that I am cancer-free.
Roman: My god, cancer-free. Are those not the most beautiful words in the English language-- I don't know what-- Samantha, geez! You scared the hell outta me! My god!
Rafe: That makes two of us.
Roman: We needed some good news around here, and this is the best.
Sami: Feels pretty good from here too.
Roman: I'll bet, I'll bet.
Sami: I'm so glad you were here, dad. I'm surprised. What are you doing at the hospital?
Rafe: Stalker case?
Roman: Yeah, yeah. Yeah.
Rafe: Need me to do anything on that?
Roman: Oh, no, no, no. We're covered.
Rafe: You sure?
Roman: I'm sure. You be with your wife, okay? Those are my orders, all right? You know what I think? I think this is the start of better things for everybody. Now I gotta take off, but I'll call you later, all right? You, take your wife out and celebrate. My god, Sami, this is such incredible news. I love you so much. My beautiful, beautiful daughter, I love you so much. Whoo! Okay. Rafe, spoil her, okay? All right, I'll see you guys later.
Rafe: Well, he seemed mildly excited.
Sami: Yeah, ever so slightly.
Rafe: But you heard what he said. Take you out and spoil you. I always follow his orders, so.
Sami: You have a plan?
Rafe: I have something up my sleeve.
Sami: What is it?
Rafe: What do you say we get out of here and we'll go see the kids and I'll tell you on the way. How's that?
Sami: Sounds good to me.
Jennifer: Wow. No one has written a poem for me since chucky Jeffries in the third grade.
Maggie: Well, aren't you gonna try on the dress?
Jennifer: Yeah. Yeah, I need to be at chez rouge at 8:00. Wow, this is amazing.
Maggie: You deserve this. You know that, don't you?
Jennifer: I guess.
Victor: Daniel's a good man. He deserves a woman like you.
Jennifer: Victor, all I know is that he makes me so happy. Okay, where should I change?
Victor: Henderson's in the kitchen. He'll show you where.
Jennifer: Okay. Wish me luck, wish me luck!
Maggie: You don't need it. Mwah, mwah, mwah, mwah. Oh, my. Well, I wonder if I should call and order a special menu. I mean, Jennifer loves lamb chops and chez rouge makes the best. Well, at the least they did when I was running things. I mean, I know the people that I put in charge are doing a wonderful job, but you know, it's just--
Victor: I understand. When it's your name and your reputation, you want it done the way you want it done.
Victor: That's why I took the liberty of booking a table for tonight.
Maggie: We're going out?
Victor: Well, you're almost 100%. Lexie told me so herself. I think that's something to celebrate. Aren't you tired of being cooped up in here?
Maggie: Yeah! Yeah, I mean, 40 or 50 walls are just starting to close in on me. Seriously, dinner out, with you. That sounds like heaven.
Victor: I hope you don't mind I used your name to get a better table.
Maggie: Oh. Well, Mr. K., You've been very busy.
Victor: Well, I get to look across the table at my beautiful red-headed girlfriend. Powerful motivation.
Victor: I had no idea Daniel was gonna do the same thing. I hope he doesn't mind.
Maggie: Oh, I think they'll only have eyes for each other. Just like we do.
Hope: Take a deep breath. Matigue wants to start with a basic face shape, okay?
Mandy: I hope I do this right. I've never done anything like this before.
Hope: Well, you know what, there's no right or wrong. Just say anything that comes to mind. And Matigue will try to draw it, and maybe his drawings will trigger something else.
Mandy: The thing is it was dark, and like I said, he was wearing a mask. I pulled it off, and I was only able to see him for, like, two seconds before I passed out.
Hope: You mentioned that he had dark hair.
Mandy: Yeah, really dark.
Hope: Okay, um, Mandy, there's something I'm going to have you do, and I know it's not gonna be easy. But I need you to try to put yourself back on those two seconds. Close your eyes, okay? Take a deep breath. Tell yourself the story. What does the air feel like?
Mandy: It's warm.
Hope: Do you hear anything?
Mandy: Footsteps, I guess.
Hope: Coming from behind you?
Mandy: I don't know, I-- I can't think about it. He kept hitting me. It really hurt bad.
Hope: Okay, okay. All right. It's okay. It's okay.
Quinn: I would've been on time, but I got pulled over for speeding.
Vivian: Oh, did you get a ticket?
Quinn: I told the officer I was on my way to visit my poor old mum. I said she's fret if I was late.
Vivian: You are shameless.
Gus: I do believe this celebration was supposed to include champagne.
Vivian: Gus, how proactive of you. Thank you.
Quinn: Yeah. Oh! Ah, sorry about that, mate.
Vivian: Gus, that is the second glass that has left your hands in two days.
Gus: No harm done. I'll just get another glass.
Vivian: Gus, this evening is very important to me.
Gus: You've made that abundantly clear.
Vivian: Look, every time Quinn and I get together, we get closer. I don't want to jeopardize it.
Gus: Whatever do you mean?
Vivian: Well, let's just say sometimes three's a crowd. Do you understand?
Jennifer: Hey! There he is. Hi there.
Daniel: Hey. You do a lot more for that dress than the mannequin did.
Jennifer: Oh, this old thing?
Victor: Don't worry, we have our own table. We won't be intruding on your evening. Nice poem. Eloquent use of the rhyming quatrain.
Daniel: Bite me.
Maggie: Enjoy your evening. Charles!
Charles: Mrs. Horton. How lovely to see you looking so well.
Maggie: Oh, it's so nice to see you. It's good to be here. I'm sure you know Mr. Kiriakis.
Charles: Pleasure to see you again. Now I have saved a lovely table for you both.
Maggie: Oh, it is my favorite, thank you.
Daniel: I cannot get over how great you look in that dress.
Jennifer: I cannot get over how great it is that you bought me this dress, and that you arranged for this whole evening.
Daniel: I just wanted to do something special. What?
Jennifer: Something's wrong.
Daniel: And here I thought I was covering so well.
Jennifer: No, what is it?
Daniel: No, I am not gonna bring us down tonight.
Jennifer: You know what, I am not gonna even pretend to have a great time tonight if there is something upsetting you.
Daniel: It's Chloe.
Sami: You think will knew something was up?
Rafe: He knew something went right.
Sami: 'Cause it did. It's over! It's really over.
Rafe: Hey, nothing but good times ahead. That's it.
Sami: Can we really afford this place though?
Rafe: Yeah, sure. You just want one course, right? I'm kidding. We're celebrating.
Sami: We totally are. We are celebrating. But I'm really happy with a salad. I mean, I had a big lunch.
Rafe: Would you stop? Stop with the money, okay? We're fine. Though it does seem rather odd coming from you. Same person who broke into Lexie's office to get her test results. Someone that larcenous can definitely figure out a way to get us out of the check.
Sami: Oh, yeah, I'll get right on that. No way. I don't wanna go from the hospital to the jail.
Rafe: I think I know a way the arresting officer could be tempted to look the other way.
Sami: Oh, really?
Sami: Well, why don't you tell me how the officer might persuaded to be more lenient?
Charles: [Clears throat]
Rafe: Hi. Hernandez. Table for two.
Charles: Of course. Right this way.
Mandy: You guys are probably sick of me freaking out on you.
Hope: Don't worry about us. We're fine. What about you? Are you okay?
Mandy: The guy's face. It wasn't round. It wasn't long.
Hope: Oval? Like yours?
Mandy: Yeah. Like that.
Hope: Doing great. Really are doing great.
Vivian: Well, look who's back from the hospital. You must be feeling better.
Maggie: Better than you actually. Thank you for asking.
Vivian: There must be some lingering effects from the gunshot wound like brain function or something.
Victor: Vivian, don't you have to be somewhere? The ladies room?
Vivian: Darling, there must be some sort of lapse here. You're with Victor Kiriakis. I mean, it was proximity to him that got you almost killed and certainly definitely shot.
Maggie: Well, actually, my thinking has never been clearer in ages. And I guess my brush with death just made me realize what's really important. The only after-effect is just this little touch of nausea, which is why I asked Charles to seat me as far away from you as possible.
Vivian: Excuse me.
Maggie: Thank you.
Daniel: I just--I couldn't believe it when I saw her name on the chart. And then to see her lying there--
Jennifer: I'm sorry. Is she gonna be okay?
Daniel: Well, she was beaten so badly she's in a coma. So I just--
Jennifer: Daniel, that's awful. They think that it's the same guy that attacked those two prostitutes, right? Why would he attack Chloe?
Daniel: Roman doesn't know.
Jennifer: This is horrible. I am so sorry.
Daniel: When it all came out that Phillip was parker's father, I...really thought that I was the injured party. Then I saw her lying there and I thought, uh... after that day, her life just took this big left turn. And mine just kept going straight along.
Jennifer: Yeah. Yeah, that kinda makes me think of, um, me and Jack, you know? I mean, god only knows where he is and what he's up to right now.
Daniel: Yeah. What do they call that? Survivor's guilt.
Jennifer: I don't know, maybe. But what I do know is that I am here with you right now. And I think that I am unbelievably lucky.
Daniel: Now I am gonna be thinking about Chloe. I just can't help it.
Jennifer: Of course, of course.
Daniel: But I will be concentrating on you, and I can't help that either.
Sami: I just noticed something
Rafe: Do I have something in my teeth?
Sami: No, no, stop that! No! Look at the other tables. We have a way nicer flower arrangement than anyone else. Either we totally hit the jackpot--
Rafe: Or I went to the florist? Sue me.
Sami: I can't. We don't have anymore money.
Rafe: You're right. We don't.
Sami: After this dinner and the flowers... Rafe it's too much.
Rafe: Can we not talk about the money anymore, 'cause it's kinda bummin' me out.
Sami: That's our song. You did that too?
Rafe: I did. I just figured we've been together all this time. We never go out for fancy dinners or have champagne or... dance to our song. I just decided no matter what Lexie told us, we were gonna do this tonight. So can I have this dance? May I? Hmm?
Sami: Yes. Oh, yes.
Rafe: Good. And another thing this is priceless. So I don't care about the money that we don't have.
Maggie: They look so happy.
Victor: Listen, I'm sorry about Vivian. I had no idea she'd be here.
Maggie: I don't give a hoot about Vivian. I just love being with out.
Victor: Are you really getting bored at the manse?
Maggie: Not when you're there. But the rest of the time... I like to scramble my own eggs. And weed my own garden. I'll talk to Henderson and see that you get to do those things.
Maggie: Oh, it's not necessary.
Victor: I want you to feel comfortable in my home. It's very important to me.
Maggie: Why did you say that? Victor, is everything all right?
Victor: Well, that sort of depends on you.
Jennifer: I heard they were going through a hard time. It looks like they worked it out.
Daniel: Yeah, it's great when that happens.
Jennifer: Yeah, it's great when that happens.
Daniel: Oh, right there.
Daniel: Thank you, Charles.
Jennifer: Thank you. That's funny, we didn't order anything yet.
Daniel: Well, I took the liberty of ordering for you. And this right here, is the first course.
Jennifer: Oh, but you don't have anything.
Daniel: Oh, my goodness, will you just open it please?
Jennifer: Open it? [Gasps] Daniel! Oh, my gosh, these are beautiful. Are you kidding me?
Daniel: They're okay. They'll be beautiful when they're worn by you.
Jennifer: What did I do to deserve these?
Daniel: You had the good sense to come along in my life at exactly the right time.
Jennifer: And vice versa.
Gus: Something you need?
Vivian: You know that after-hours place near the river?
Gus: The one I told you about.
Vivian: Right. Well, I want you to put me on their list for tonight.
Gus: For two people I presume.
Vivian: Well, certainly not for three.
Daniel: Well, I think we should hit the dance floor.
Jennifer: Right now?
Daniel: Yes, right now. I like knowing I'm the envy of every guy in the place.
Jennifer: With my new earrings on.
Victor: So how's the chocolate mousse?
Maggie: You don't answer my questions, so I'm not gonna answer yours.
Victor: I have no idea what you're talking about.
Maggie: You said it was important for you that I'm comfortable in your home. And then you stopped talking.
Victor: Well, believe it or not, I was at a loss for words.
Maggie: Well, just take a stab at it.
Victor: All right. I want you to feel comfortable in my home because when you're there, every room you enter seems brighter, the windows seem cleaner, the furniture seemed newer. The wallpaper seems to be in better taste. Taking a place that's come to feel like a fortress and made it into a joyous place. And I don't want that to end. And it won't if you decide to stay. Permanently.
Daniel: Wow, special night over there?
Sami: Yes. It's special. Very, very special.
Jennifer: We couldn't help noticing how happy you guys look.
Sami: I couldn't help noticing those unbelievably beautiful earrings.
Jennifer: Thank you. They were a very special present.
Sami: You know, it seems like we're all celebrating. We have a bottle of champagne coming. We'd love to share it with you.
Daniel: Well, I can't say no to a bottle of champagne. What are we celebrating?
Sami: Everything. 0
Maggie: You want me to live with you?
Victor: I do. But no pressure. Just take your time, think about it.
Maggie: You know, um, I do my best thinking when I'm dancing.
Victor: Really? May I have this dance?
Jennifer: These flowers are beautiful. Really.
Sami: Rafe thought of everything.
Daniel: Is this some kind of anniversary?
Rafe: No, no. Today is just a day that we're gonna remember for a long, long time.
Daniel: There you go. Thank you, Charles. And put this on my bill.
Rafe: Oh, no, no, no.
Daniel: No, I got it. I got it. What should we toast to? Hmm?
Sami: I say we toast to life.
Rafe: To life.
Jennifer: I love that. To life.
Bo: Why don't you show us what you got?
Hope: Does this look like the man who attacked you?
Mandy: That's him.
Quinn: I've changed my plans. I'm all yours for the evening.
Vivian: Oh, that's wonderful.
Quinn: I'll pull my car around and we can check out--
Vivian: Oh, don't worry about the car, Gus'll take us. Where is he? Where'd he go?
Isn't Forensics finished here?
Not yet. They're gonna take one more pass tonight.
What do they think there's left to find?
Gus: Hey! Stop that! What's the matter with you? Yeah, this should be easy to find.
Lexie: No change.
Bo: He sees the same thing we do.
Roman: We're all thinking that maybe we saw this guy before?
Lexie: Did you say something?
Roman: Maybe we finally got the break we need.
