Vivian: [Gasps] Dr. Feelgood. Oh, this is glorious. The whole world's gonna know about Carly and what she's really like. And her career and her life are going to be in tatters and my vengeance is gonna be complete. All--all thanks to one brilliant man.

Gus: I don't know if I'd say he was brilliant.

Vivian: [Gasps] And here he is now. The man of the hour. Hello, darling. Come over and celebrate your triumph.

Jennifer: Here you go. Drink this, okay?

Carly: Don't remember ever being this thirsty.

Jennifer: All right. Facing up to a dependence on drugs has to take it out of you.

Carly: So does making me eat soap.

Jennifer: Sorry about that. But you know what? Things are gonna be better now, okay?

Carly: Yeah, once I get past the humiliation.

Jennifer: Hey, you listen to me. There is no such thing as a perfect person, all right? But you're not alone now. I'm gonna get you the help that you need, all right? Look at me. It is no one else's business.

[Multiple phones ringing]

Carly: What now?

[Cell phone trilling]

Daniel: Ah!

[Cell phone rings]

Daniel: Melanie?

Melanie: Hey, dad. Um, you're not gonna believe this.

Daniel: What's wrong?

Melanie: There's a picture.

Daniel: You saw it?

Melanie: Did too.

Daniel: Yeah, I was just trying to get ahold of your mom.

Melanie: So was I. I can't get ahold of her.

Daniel: Yeah, well, I'm leaving for her place right now.

Melanie: Okay, call me, please.

Daniel: I will. I will.

Brady: Is that a mai tai?

Taylor: Mm-hmm. I like the little umbrellas.

Brady: [Chuckles] She likes the little umbrellas. Ah, it's not even lunch yet. What did EJ do to you?

Taylor: Hmm. Well... he told he relinquished his custody of his children because he didn't deserve them.

Brady: Well, that's true. I mean, I can't believe he actually admitted it, but it's true.

Taylor: Mm-mm. It's so weird. He was trying to sound cynical. It didn't work though. His life is meaningless... because of me.

Brady: Did he tell you a very sad story about how he took a long look in the mirror and he just figured he wasn't worthy of his children anymore? [Imitating EJ] "I don't deserve them."

Taylor: Okay, no, no. It was not like that. I had to make him tell me.

Brady: Did he also have to make you tell him that it was your fault somehow?

Taylor: Okay, you know what? You weren't there. You don't understand.

Brady: Taylor, I didn't have to be in the room to understand that he's still playing you and you're still buying it.

Stefano: Ah, good. I see you're awake.

EJ: Yeah? What's good about that?

Stefano: Well, I can get the ball rolling in getting you transferred out of this room.

EJ: What's wrong with this place, hmm? You paid for half of it.

Stefano: Yes, but I never paid for a unit that treated the mentally ill... which you obviously are.

Will: Okay. So do we swim first or do we eat first?

Kinsey: Eat.

Gabi: Actually, I think we should swim. I think these egg salad sandwiches I made have been out of the fridge for too long.

Kinsey: Wait, so we're not gonna eat?

Sonny: Whoa. Down, girl.

Kinsey: Hey, if I get that low blood sugar way, you will not enjoy the experience.

Sonny: All right, well, how about you and I go to the pub and we'll get food for everyone?

Kinsey: You want me to go with you?

Sonny: Yeah, yeah. I want to hear about you, uh-- you know, your plans for being a singer.

Kinsey: Wait. You're serious?

Sonny: Yeah. What do you guys want?

Kinsey: Well, I know what they like. Let's go. Okay, all right, so what I'm thinking is I'm not gonna sign with a label right away because I don't want them messing with my sound, but...

Gabi: Man. Summer's flying by. I can't believe it's almost august.

Will: Yeah, I know. We'll make the most of it though.

Gabi: Right.

Will: Um, so you want to go in the water?

Gabi: Sure. Let me go get the towels from the car.

Will: Sweet.

Gabi: Okay.

Tad: I don't believe you, man.

Will: What's wrong with you?

Tad: I saw you in the parking lot with that jerk.

Will: You talking about sonny?

Tad: Whose side are you on anyway?

Jennifer: What is this? Someone sent me a picture.

Carly: Of what?

Jennifer: [Gasps] What in the world?

Carly: What is it? What? What is it?

Jennifer: Carly, you can't see this.

Carly: No, no, all right.

Jennifer: Who would send this?

Carly: Ow!

Jennifer: Why would-- oh, Carly.

Carly: Oh, God!

[Knock on door] Oh! No.

Daniel: Carly!

Carly: No, no, no, no, no.

Daniel: Open up, Carly! You okay?

Jennifer: ...Go away. He's not gonna go away.

Daniel: Carly!

Jennifer: Just-- you're too late, all right? She already saw the picture.

Daniel: What do you mean I'm-- they're two of a kind.

Vivian: You remember Gus?

Quinn: Yeah, vaguely.

Vivian: I was just telling him that I'm on top of the world and it's all thanks to him.

Gus: Really?

Vivian: Yes, well, I told him about Carly's little--ahem-- problem and he took it and ran with it. You clever boy.

Quinn: What did I do?

Vivian: He is so self-effacing. I just love that. Why don't you send the waiter over? I think we should have another toast. Oh! Carly manning... on the internet passed out with a bottle of pills in her hand. Oh, I think it's the end of her. Ah!

Quinn: You are one cold customer, mom. I pity the man who gets in your way.

Vivian: Well.

Daniel: I'm looking at her right now. She's okay. I will. Melanie wants me to tell you she loves you.

Carly: What did she say when you told her that the picture was real?

Daniel: Well, she was pretty upset.

Carly: As she should be.

Daniel: Yeah, mostly at herself for not figuring out you were in this kind of trouble. Pretty much feel the same way.

Carly: What are people gonna think?

Daniel: You know, people are gonna think some bastard took a picture and put it on the internet.

Jennifer: You know, I think it was someone here at the hotel. It had to be.

Daniel: They just took a picture and didn't help her?

Carly: I didn't deserve to be helped. I don't care who took the picture. I did this. Should have just let me die!

Jennifer: Don't you talk like that.

Daniel: Ever. And will please someone explain to me what happened? And start from the beginning.

Melanie: My dad's with her. She's all right right now, I guess.

Dario: Does he know anything else?

Melanie: No, it wasn't photoshopped though. That was real. My mom was passed out with a whole bunch of drugs beside her.

Dario: Look, she's alive. Babe, she's alive, and she's with people that love her. That's where you want to be, right? With her?

Melanie: Yeah, will you come with me?

Dario: She's not gonna want some strange guy around. I'll just drop you off, but call me later. I want to know you're okay.

Melanie: Okay.

Dario: You take care of her. And I'll take care of you. Come on. Let's go.

Melanie: Okay.

Jennifer: I--I found Carly unconscious. It must have been right after that picture was taken. But I'm thinking that all the drugs are out of her system by now.

Daniel: You handled this alone? You didn't call a paramedic?

Jennifer: No, there wasn't enough time to do that.

Carly: She did everything right.

Jennifer: Yeah, I mean, and you're here now. Can you please check her, make sure she's okay?

Carly: No, I'm fine. Fine!

Jennifer: Carly!

Daniel: Carly!

Jennifer: I am getting you to that rehab place that I told you about. Do you hear me?

Daniel: I'm sorry? This was not a one-time thing?

Carly: I was ha--having a hard time dealing with things, and I just felt like I couldn't go it alone.

Daniel: But you didn't tell anyone. You were medicating yourself?

Carly: That's a nice way of putting it. But I felt like I was falling apart and the drugs were there.

Daniel: So the drugs that disappeared?

Jennifer: Yeah, from the hospital.

Carly: And then the odd pill bottle wasn't enough for me, so I wrote a prescription for a nonexistent patient. I tried to stop. I tried to stop and then things would happen and I just couldn't do it.

Daniel: Things? What? What? Is this about Bo?

Carly: Part--part of it. Nicholas won't speak to me.

Daniel: I don't get it. I mean, you worked your tail off at the hospital. You covered for everybody. You didn't make a single mistake. Why--I don't get it. Why are you doing this to yourself?

Carly: 'Cause I told you! I can't handle things.

Jennifer: Carly, that is not all of it.

Daniel: Well, what? What is she talking about?

Carly: It also has to do with you.

Taylor: You know what? Everyone in this town...

[Giggles] They think that, uh, EJ had me fooled, right? Like I was under some sort of spell. What if I told you that I knew exactly who EJ was and I stayed anyway?

Brady: Why, because you are drawn to men with a dark side?

Taylor: What if I am?

EJ: I see you got your sense of humor back.

Stefano: No, no, no, no. I'm serious. I mean, no sane man would just sign away his children, now, would he, hmm? And not only that, but my lawyers told me that the custody papers can be reversed once it is proven that you are delusional.

EJ: Oh. Hence the mental hospital.

Stefano: Mm-hmm. You will be cured, then you will be dismissed, and the children will be back where they belong.

EJ: All right, all right, okay. That's enough.

Stefano: See, when you talk that civilly to me, I know that you must be out of your mind.

EJ: Look... I'm gonna say this once... and I don't care to repeat myself. My children are not your property. They are not my property. They are human beings and they deserve a normal life.

Stefano: With Samantha? That is normal?

EJ: Would you just let me finish, please? All right? If you do anything to reverse what I have done... I'm gonna go to the police and make a full confession.

Stefano: Come on. You can't be serious.

EJ: Try me. Look, I don't want to see you put behind bars, but I will put you there myself if I have to.

Stefano: Heh. So... that's about it, huh?

[Sighs] No more chess games with Giovanni. And I won't have little Sydney's arms around my neck anymore because they're going to be dead to me, huh?

EJ: Look... maybe I have something that'll just, um, take your mind off of it, anyway.

Stefano: I can't imagine anything being big enough.

EJ: I'm, uh... beginning to remember what happened to me the night I was attacked.

Brady: I can figure people out pretty well. It's what I do.

Taylor: Doesn't that make life a little boring?

Brady: Things are getting kind of interesting right now, aren't they?

Taylor: [Giggles]

Brady: Uh-oh.

Taylor: Uh-oh. [Giggles]

Nicole: What the hell?

Daniel: Is this because of what I said last night?

Carly: No.

Daniel: It is, isn't it? It is.

Jennifer: Daniel, just let her talk, all right? Please. I'm going to, uh-- I'm gonna go take a walk.

Carly: No, don't, don't. Just--just please. I just have to get this over with. Um, what I said to you last night was a lie. Uh... after the disaster with Bo, I started to look at my life a little differently and... I remembered telling you about Melanie and how hard we worked to become friends again... watching you be her dad... just working with you at the hospital. I realized that I had feelings for you that I wasn't letting myself feel. And I couldn't, because you were married to Chloe. And then when the two of you broke up, I just thought--

Daniel: Listen, I am so sorry if I hurt you in any--

Carly: No, you didn't.

Melanie: Mom! Oh, my God. Are you okay?

Carly: I'm okay.

Melanie: Okay.

Carly: Saw that picture?

Melanie: I don't care. I don't care about the picture. I just care about you. It's gonna be different now, okay? We're gonna take care of you. Right?

Daniel: I'm see--

Carly: I don't want that! Okay? I want you to go and live your lives. I don't like being the center of attention, okay? I just need some time.

Melanie: Okay, that's fine. I understand that.

Jennifer: Listen, you're gonna take a leave of absence--

Carly: No, I mean right now! I can't stand all of you looking at me!

[Door slams closed]

Vivian: To our triumph. Ahh. Oh.

Quinn: You seem almost giddy, mom.

Vivian: Oh, do you know how long I've had to choke back watching Carly go on with her life after what she did to Lawrence?

Quinn: I get the picture.

Vivian: Now she's getting to feel what I felt thanks to you.

Quinn: I didn't get her hooked on prescription drugs.

Vivian: Oh, don't be so modest. I know what. Let's go buy you a sports car.

Quinn: I like the car I have.

Vivian: Oh. Well, how about dinner? Something really special. We can, um, talk about the past and get over our hurts.

Quinn: Yeah. That could be a long dinner.

Vivian: Oh, excellent. I'll have Gus make the reservations. Where--where'd he go?

Quinn: Well, I guess he must have left.

Vivian: Oh, he's so peevish these days. So moody.

Quinn: Have you asked him why?

Vivian: Mmm. He'll get over it. I wonder. I wonder if Carly has seen those pictures. Oh, God, I'd love to see her right now.

Daniel: Have you known about this for how long?

Melanie: What are you talking about?

Jennifer: Your, uh, mom has been abusing prescription drugs.

Melanie: So this wasn't the first time? And we had no idea?

Daniel: But you knew about this for a while, right?

Jennifer: Well, she told me that she had it under control and she wasn't doing that anymore, and when I found her this morning--

Melanie: Hold on. You found her here?

Jennifer: Yeah, which means she was lying to me and she was lying to herself.

Melanie: But you saved her life.

Jennifer: I have known your mom since boarding school. I would do anything for her.

Daniel: So that's what's been going on with you and me.

Melanie: What?

Daniel: Your mother said some things.

Jennifer: She's in love with your dad. She's in love with him and she feels like she missed out on some opportunities.

Melanie: So that's what happened with you two?

Jennifer: Listen, I didn't know what else to do, okay? The stakes were really high. I didn't know what to do.

Melanie: I don't like this.

Daniel: I don't either.

Melanie: No, this. I don't like this. She's been in here too long. Mom! Mom? Oh, my God. The window's open. She took off.

Daniel: What?

Melanie: She took off. She's gone!

Kinsey: Okay, so the singing's just, like, a jumping off point, you know? I mean, that's where my natural talents lie. But once I'm established, the sky is the limit. Except I'm saying, "no, thank you," to anything on TV. Not until I've booked my first feature. Okay. [Laughter] Let's--let's talk about you.

Sonny: All right. What do you want to know?

Kinsey: Well, how long you gonna be in Salem?

Sonny: Well, I haven't figured that out yet.

Kinsey: You will. You seem like the kind of guy who doesn't go too long without a plan.

Sonny: Well, I used to be one of those guys. In high school, I had a plan book that was so detailed, it was sick. And not in a good way. I'm telling you. But after I came out to my parents... threw that thing right in the garbage. It was like I was getting out of prison or something.

Kinsey: And your parents were okay with all that?

Sonny: Yeah, they got my back in every way. I'm lucky.

Kinsey: Totally.

Sonny: And then it hit me. You know what? I have the rest of my life to finish college. So I'm taking a gap year.

Kinsey: Doing what?

Sonny: Well, I was tired of being in my head, so I'm training for a triathlon. And I like rock climbing so much that I got into mountain climbing.

Kinsey: Okay, that is extreme.

Sonny: I mean, it's freedom.

Kinsey: So have you climbed any major mountains?

Sonny: Yeah, I went to Japan last month and climbed mount Fuji.

Kinsey: Gay guys climb mountains, huh?

Sonny: Well, when we're not worshipping Neil Patrick Harris, yeah.

Kinsey: He is so awesome. Can you introduce me?

Sonny: Kinsey, I'm kidding. We all don't know each other.

Kinsey: Oh. Okay, I--I know this might sound weird,'re my first... gay friend. Well, I mean it. Seriously. I just--I don't know anyone else who's gay.

Sonny: You just don't think you know anyone else who's gay.

Kinsey: Really?

Sonny: Mm-hmm.

Kinsey: I have a feeling that I'm gonna learn a lot from you.

Will: Okay, will you lay off sonny, please?

Tad: You're not the one starting at Salem u with everyone thinking that you're some dude's bromance.

Will: That's not his fault.

Tad: Isn't it? He's had all kinds of chances to tell me he was gay and he never did.

Will: Do you--wait, do you go around telling people, "hey, my name's t and I'm straight"?

Tad: People figure it out.

Will: T, man, you've said some horrible things about gays.

Tad: Right. Now I'm the bad guy. He's gay, so he's sonny the saint. He's done no wrong.

Will: And he didn't put you down, did he, for being bigoted? For being a total idiot?

Tad: He set me up! He wanted to make me look bad in front of all my friends. Now you, Gabi, Kinsey, are all hanging out with him and calling me names!

Will: We're hanging out with him because he's a nice guy! Man, what is wrong with you?

Nicole: Brady too? I knew it.

Brady: Whoa. Uh.

Nicole: You little slut.

Brady: All right.

Taylor: You know how tired I am of hearing you tell me off?

Nicole: Did you purposely come to Salem to ruin my life?

Taylor: No. Why would I do that, Nic? You do a great job all on your own.

Brady: Look, but she doesn't drink mai tais usually. She doesn't drink at all usually.

Nicole: Oh, 'cause she's so pure and innocent, right?

Taylor: Oh, I made a mistake, okay? I'm sorry! I'm sorry.

Nicole: You know, growing up, I looked out for you.

Taylor: Oh, you looked out for me? Is that how you see it?

Nicole: You don't think I did?

Taylor: You don't want to go there right now, Nic, trust me.

Nicole: Don't you tell me what I don't want, because we are doing this right now.

Brady: No, we're not. Hey!

Nicole: Sick of it!

Brady: Stop.

[Door opens]

Daniel: She's gone. She must have climbed down the fire escape.

Melanie: Should we call the cops?

Daniel: No, not unless we have to.

Jennifer: No, no, she's probably humiliated enough. We can't do that.

Daniel: Well, she couldn't have gone far. Her car's still down there. I think we should split up and look for her that way.

Jennifer: No, don't you think it's better if we stick together?

Daniel: Fine, all right. We'll look together. Melanie, I want you to go to her office, check there, see if she's there. Go to the Brady pub, java, you know, the usual places. We'll check the neighborhood. Maybe she just went out to think and clear her head.

Jennifer: Let's hope that.

Melanie: Hey, we have to find her.

Vivian: Uh, Carly. Something wrong? Ooo whatcha got there?

Tad: Great, now you think I'm some horrible person.

Will: No, t, I don't, man. I think you are a good guy. And that is why I'm hoping to hell that you will come to your senses and you will fix this.

Tad: I don't want to fix anything with sonny. Him asking me to a baseball game? How do I know that's not him coming on to me?

Will: Oh, my God, t!

Tad: It's possible, right?

[Cell phone rings] I got to take this.

Gabi: Was that about sonny, the fight you and t were having?

Will: Yeah, it was. Oh, my God. I always thought t was so open-minded.

Gabi: Yeah, well, I guess you thought wrong.

Will: I mean, maybe it's what he learned from his parents.

Gabi: Yeah, well, that doesn't excuse it, will. I mean, T's a homophobic jerk, okay? And I, for one, I don't want anything to do with him anymore.

Nicole: You are so lucky that he's here.

Brady: Stop that. Take it easy. Listen. If I let go of you girls, do you promise not to scratch each other's eyes out?

Nicole: I can't believe you fell for her garbage.

Brady: Do you promise me?

Nicole: Yeah, I promise.

Brady: Taylor?

Taylor: Just...let go of me.

Brady: Look, she's right. I mean, look, we had a couple drinks. We did something stupid, okay? Don't--don't let it get between the two of you. You're sisters. Come on. You have a history that nobody understands the way you do.

Taylor: Yeah, that's a fact. Excuse me.

Brady: Taylor, where are--

Nicole: Just let her go.

Taylor: This is just too damn complicated. All right, I'm out of here.

Brady: Taylor?

Taylor: No.

Brady: Mmm.

Nicole: Brady.

Carly: Do the words "leave me the hell alone" mean anything to you?

Vivian: Oh, don't worry about it. Everyone's gonna leave you alone from now on. What's the matter, dear? Waiting for your dealer?

Carly: Did you take that picture?

Vivian: Oh, if only. I didn't even know it existed until someone sent it to me. Oh, Nicholas was absolutely nauseated.

Carly: Oh, God, Nicholas.

Vivian: Tell me something. Did Lawrence know that you were a closet druggie? Is that why you murdered him and poisoned Nicholas against him?

Carly: Go away.

Vivian: What about your daughter? Did she see the picture? How does Melanie feel about you now? You know, I think you're probably a druggie because you now know what I know about you. You hate yourself as much as I hate you.

Brady: I've been here for a while. I haven't seen Carly.

Nicole: Neither have I.

Daniel: Okay, well, if you do see her, uh, call me, will you? You have my number, yeah?

Nicole: Sure.

Daniel: Okay, cool. Let's go.

[Door opens]

Jennifer: This is crazy. We can't search this whole town by ourselves.

Daniel: Well, she can only go so far on foot.

Jennifer: All right, where should we go next?

Daniel: I think we should go to the pier.

Jennifer: Oh, man, Daniel, I hope she's not out trying to find more pills right now.

Daniel: Yeah, well, who knows what she wants to do anymore? Let's go.

Stefano: All right. What do you know about that night? I mean, did you see anybody? I mean, do you know who did this to you?

EJ: All of these things in my head, father, they're just, uh-- they're just images. I haven't been able to put it together yet.

Stefano: All right, fine. Just tell me anything that you remember about the night?

EJ: Look, this was not some-- some random mugging. I believe that someone's orchestrating an attack against the entire family.

Carly: I'm so dry. I'm so dehydrated. Mmm. Jeff, lunch!

Tad: Gabi. Thought you'd be off making sand castles with your new best friend sonny.

Will: Okay, that's enough.

Tad: Excuse me?

Will: Okay, look, being down on sonny for something that he did is one thing. But being down on him for something that he is is different, man. We're not gonna put up with that anymore.

Tad: You're the reason he's acting this way, aren't you? You got him all riled up against me.

Gabi: Yeah, right. That's because I'm Latina and I'm also emotional.

Tad: Oh, come on!

Will: Okay, you're acting like a jerk, man. I don't know--I don't know how else to put it.

Tad: So that's it?

Will: No. It doesn't have to be, man. Okay, apologize to sonny. Show him some genuine respect and then we're good.

Tad: That's just messed up. This is messed up.

Sonny: Hey, man. You didn't have to go to bat for me.

Will: Yeah, I...did.

Daniel: Carly? Carly! Hey!

Jennifer: Oh, God. I was hoping she'd be here, Daniel.

Daniel: Mmm, yeah, me too.

Jennifer: All right, well, at least no one had seen anything down at the piers, right?

Daniel: Right.

Jennifer: Let's call the cops. I think we should now.

Daniel: Well, they can't really do anything for 24 hours and I don't think she wants Bo to find out.

Jennifer: Daniel, we have to find her. I found this rehab place and I'm telling you--

Daniel: You knew! You knew Carly was on the edge and you knew the reason why. How in the hell can you keep something like that from me?

EJ: What are you doing here?

Taylor: EJ... shouldn't you be in bed?

EJ: You didn't answer my question.

Taylor: Oh, what-- what am I doing here? Right. Um... I don't even know.

Stefano: My son is beginning to remember bits and pieces of the night that he was beaten up. So...[Clears throat, sniffs] I want you prepared. Of course, I will call you as soon as he gives me a name. You know what to do.

Brady: Listen, listen, listen. Taylor and I were just talking, all right?

Nicole: Oh, that's how you two talk?

Brady: It didn't mean anything. She's going through a really hard time. You know that.

Nicole: I'm over here in a bed of roses myself.

Brady: You made that bed.

Nicole: All right. Look. I saw EJ in the hospital today. And now that he's a free man, he looked at me like-- don't fall out of your chair-- but... that he was actually sorry for what he put me through.

Brady: Get out of here. Really?

Nicole: Yeah, it's true. I can't believe I let him do that to me. I had you and I still--

Brady: Nicole, don't, don't, don't. Wouldn't have worked out with us anyway.

Nicole: I know. You keep saying that. And I guess you mean it. And I know that you're gonna find someone else, but if you cared about me at all, would you please, please not let that person be Taylor?

EJ: Thank you.

Taylor: You're welcome. Do you need anything else like, um...water? [Giggles] Or something?

EJ: You still haven't told me what brought you here.

Taylor: Um... well, I guess--I guess I just wanted to make sure that you were okay.

EJ: Coffee.

Taylor: Coffee. So, um, look. I know that--I know that we are, you know, whatever it is that we are, but I just--I don't want anything bad to happen to you, so. And now I see you're going to survive, so I'm out of here.

EJ: Taylor, could you-- Taylor, please, could you just wait for a moment? There's something I need to tell you, please. It's not about us. It's not about us. I'm, um... beginning to have some memories of the night that I was beaten up.

Taylor: Does your father know?

EJ: I haven't told him everything. But, uh, I would like to tell somebody.

Taylor: Okay. Okay, not me though. Not me, 'cause I don't want to be in the middle of all of this. Um, you know what? I'll get a nurse. I'll get a nurse. I hear they're really good listeners.

EJ: Yeah, it's funny you say that, actually. This is about a nurse.

Taylor: What?

EJ: One was there when I was being beaten up.

Taylor: Who?

EJ: You're not gonna know who she is. Her name's Melanie.

Melanie: Oh, thank you.

Dario: Hey. We're gonna find her, Mel.

Daniel: All the time I'm looking for Carly. I'm trying to put the last few weeks together. This is why you backed out of san Francisco, right?

Jennifer: Yeah. I couldn't do that to her, Daniel.

Daniel: Really? But you didn't say that. And I really loved you telling me that Carly has a thing for me but not telling me that she has a drug habit.

Jennifer: I thought if the two of you could find your way back to each other that you would be exactly what she needed and--

Daniel: She's so messed up on drugs, how in the hell does she know what she needs? My God! She's stealing from the hospital. She's writing prescriptions. She did a surgery high as a kite and you knew that.

Jennifer: No! But I thought that she told me that she had it all together and I didn't want to do anything--

Daniel: She is abusing drugs! You can't believe a word she says about anything!

Jennifer: Gosh, you sound like Abigail right now. You know that?

Daniel: Abigail?

Jennifer: Yeah.

Daniel: Wait, you discussed this with your daughter and me, your whatever I am, you don't trust?
