Bo: No... no! Damn it, no! He's dead. Son of a-- [Breathing heavily] What the hell happened here? If someone doesn't speak up... we're gonna have a serious problem.

Felon 1: He fell.

Felon 2: Guy was clumsy.

Hope: Clumsy. Why are there bruises on the back of his neck?

Felon 1: He must have hit the wall on the way down.

Bo: Think you're a smartass, don't ya?

Felon 1: I got no opinion on way or the other.

Bo: When I'm finished with'll have an opinion. Get the coroner down here now! Hope.

Vivian: Ah... opportunities abound, my friend.

Gus: What exactly did you overhear, Madame?

Vivian: Jennifer Devereaux, nee Horton, telling her daughter that she, in a nutshell... is hot to trot for dr. Dan.

Gus: Hot to trot?

Vivian: Oh, bone up on your idioms, for god's sake, Augustine. It means that she can't be in the same room with him without wanting to jump his bones.

Gus: [Laughs] Lucky man.

Vivian: Yes. Well... the fact that Carly manning is drowning her sorrows in drugs and she that could become even more miserable, more sorrowful, more...jealous, well, it can't be good, can it?

Gus: No, Madame. And I venture a guess that her drug problem could considerably worsen.

Vivian: Sans doute, mon chéri. That's why we need a plan.

Gus: To get Jennifer and dr. Jonas together in the same room?

Vivian: Alone. ASAP.

Daniel: Oh...what are you doing here?

Carly: Haven't you heard? I never leave.

Daniel: [Chuckles] Yeah. Well, I'm gonna have to have a word with H.R. About that.

Carly: No, I got one more patient, and then I'm done.

Daniel: Yeah? Well, guess who is done--me. Yes. So we still good for dinner at sapphire club?

Carly: Definitely.

Daniel: All right. I'll see you later then.

Carly: Bye. [Exhales]

Jennifer: [Gasps] That's not what I wanted to happen.

Daniel: What did you want to happen?

Jennifer: Oh, shhhoot!

Abigail: Mom, are you okay?

Rafe: "And henceforth, I will be a very different toad. My friends, you shall never have occasion to blush for me again. But, oh, dear, this is a very hard, hard world." And that's it for tonight, my friend.

Johnny: No! Now!

Rafe: Yeah, we'll have more tomorrow.

Sami: Uh, hey, Johnny, sweetheart, it is time for you to go to bed, okay, bunny? Let's go. Up.

Rafe: Night-nights.

Sami: Okay, so, I'm guessing there's something you wanna talk about?

Johnny: I'm worried, mommy.

Sami: Sweetheart, come here. Sit up for me for a second. Why don't you tell mama what you're worried about.

Johnny: I keep having bad dreams.

Together: Ohh...

Sami: Again? I know. I'm sorry. I know we all went through a very scary thing and... you know what, though? It's over. It's over, and, uh, it's gonna be better from now on, okay? I promise.

Taylor: Look, I don't give a damn what kind of deals you're trying to work out. The man who killed my mother cannot be let free.

Bo: Uh, you don't have to worry about that, Taylor... not anymore.

Taylor: Why?

Bo: Well, Arnold... the imposter... signed a full confession, implicating the two of them in the scam.

Hope: It's game over, boys.

Lexie: Ah, you outta here?

Carly: Signing out now.

Lexie: Got any plans?

Carly: I do! I do. Daniel and I are getting together. We're having dinner.

Lexie: Oh.

Carly: If you'll excuse me, I have to change, because I doubt that the dress code at the sapphire club includes sweaty scrubs.

Lexie: [Laughs] Yeah, I doubt that too.

Carly: Have a good one.

Lexie: Okay, you too.

[Cell phone rings]

Vivian: What have we got?

Gus: A problem. Carly and Daniel are having dinner at the sapphire club tonight.

Vivian: Not if I can help it.

Gus: What do we do?

Vivian: Do what we always do. We turn a problem into an opportunity.

Stefano: Nonsense. It's all lies. We haven't been implicated for anything, and you know it. We're perfectly innocent.

Woods: What the hell do we do now? The imposter is dead! We got nothing.

Bo: Woods! Woods!

EJ: Wow. Looks like you won't be able to keep us here any longer... commissioner.

Stefano: Hmm. It was a wonderful bluff, commissioner.

Bo: Woods, in my office, now.

EJ: Mm. Having a little powwow in your stuffy little cubicle doesn't change the fact that keeping us here without just cause is illegal!

Abe: Mm-hmm.

Taylor: I don't--I don't understand. I don't understand how this happened.

Abe: At least someone... got what they deserved. The man who killed your mother is never gonna hurt anyone else.

Taylor: Um... someone should call Sami and Rafe. They should know what's going on.

Sami: Well, he is finally asleep. At least I think. But I'm gonna have to go back in and check in a few minutes. Ahh...

Rafe: Poor little guy. Like he hasn't had enough bad things happen to him.

Sami: I know. But you know what, it's like you always say. He is definitely the toughest out of all of us.

Rafe: [Laughs] Yeah. By miles.

Sami: But you know what? The best part is EJ and Stefano are not gonna get away with this. Once we get the creature's testimony, they are gonna be put away for a long, long time.

[Cell phone rings]

Rafe: Oh. Hello.

Abe: Rafe, it's Abe. Something's happened, and it may change everything.

Sami: No. Okay? No! He can't be gone. He's our--our--our only hope!

Rafe: No. Not necessarily.

Sami: What? What do you think we can possibly do now...just sit around and wait for EJ and Stefano to spontaneously confess?

Rafe: It's not over, okay?

Sami: Yes, it is! How can you say that? It is totally over! He was our last chance. We needed his testimony to put EJ and Stefano away, and now we have nothing.

Rafe: I'm going down to the station.

Sami: Wait, I'm gonna come with you. Hey, will, you gotta watch the kids, okay? We'll be back.

Jennifer: That's great. You're just in time to help me get all this.

Abigail: Mom, you're crying.

Jennifer: For no good reason, believe me. Weren't you supposed to go home?

Abigail: Yeah, I did. I came back to... to get these. I must have dropped them earlier. Listen, mom, I know you must be really upset about Daniel, but if you don't deal with it--

Jennifer: Baby, please, I am fine, okay? I'm dealing with everything just fine.

Chad: Hey.

Abigail: Chad...

Chad: Uh...sorry, am I, uh... am I interrupting?

Jennifer: Uh, no, no, no. I was just picking up a bunch of stuff that I dropped 'cause I'm such a klutz. I was just on my way out.

Abigail: No, mom--

Jennifer: I'm fine. Okay? It's good to see you, Chad. Excuse me.

[Cell phone rings]

Jennifer: Hello?

Vivian: [Southern drawl] Oh, hello. Is this miss Jennifer Devereaux?

Jennifer: Uh, yes, it is.

Vivian: Oh, well, my name is Lydia Jensen, and I'm an assistant to Mr. Warner buffet.

Jennifer: Uh...Mr. Warner?

Vivian: Yes! Mr. Buffet wants to award, um, a seven figure donation to the Salem university hospital.

Jennifer: That is really wonderful news.

Vivian: Well, when could you possibly see Mr. Buffet?

Jennifer: Uh, whenever would be great.

Vivian: Oh! Well...what about the sapphire club in 15 minutes?

Jennifer: I'm sorry, tonight wouldn't...

Vivian: It has to be tonight, Mrs. Devereaux, because otherwise Mr. Buffet will look for another hospital on which to bestow his magnanimity.

Jennifer: You know what, I, uh, I understand. Sapphire club, 15 minutes. Thank you.

Stefano: Mm-mm.

EJ: Oh! Look who came to join us, father.

Stefano: Mm.

Rafe: Just wait here. I'm gonna go to Bo's office and find out what the hell's going on.

Sami: Look, you know, right, that no matter what happens, you're both gonna rot in hell for what you have done.

Abe: Sami.

Sami: I mean, they're responsible, right? They killed the creature so he wouldn't be able to talk about them.

EJ: I don't know what... we would have talked about, Samantha. There's nothing to say.

Stefano: As a matter of fact, the police have nothing also.

Sami: Unbelievable. Unbelievable! You are not gonna get away with this. You know that, right?

Abe: Hey.

Sami: I mean, you are--

Abe: Come on.

Sami: They--they can't just go--[Groans] All right, so what's going on? Well? What happened? Tell me what's going on. I mean, you're not gonna just let him walk, are you?

Lexie: Wow.

Carly: Oh...

Lexie: You look beautiful.

Carly: Oh, thanks.

Lexie: Um...forgive me for prying but, um... this dinner date with Daniel...

Carly: Dinner. Just two people eating. We have a daughter together. We feel it's important to stay close, you know, for her sake. Yeah? [Laughs] What are you looking at?

Lexie: Well, Carly, I mean, wasn't too long ago you told me you had feelings for him.

Carly: And I'm over it. Him. Completely.

Lexie: Just like that?

Carly: Look, when we spoke, I was kind of in a state, Lexie. I was feeling lonely. Honestly, Daniel's my friend. That's it, I don't-- I'm not interested in him in any other way.

Lexie: Even if it's apparently over between him and Jennifer?

Carly: Even if that's the case.

Lexie: Okay. Okay. Well, have a good time tonight.

Carly: Thanks.

Lexie: Sorry if I was being intrusive.

Carly: No, don't worry about it.

Lexie: Okay.

Carly: Bye.

Maxine: Dr. Manning, I know you're about to take off, but this guy just turned up, and I--

Carly: What guy?

Maxine: Well, he told me his name. It's something French-sounding. I can't recall right now. Anyway, he must be in a lot of pain--

Carly: I'm taking off, and dr. Freid can handle that.

Maxine: Wait, dr. Freid went off duty. There's nobody on the floor but you, me, and sanders, so...

Carly: What? Damn it!

Maxine: What? You won't even see the guy?

Carly: Yeah, I'm gonna look at him!

Maxine: All right. Okay.

Carly: Was he admitted? Where is he?

Maxine: No, not yet. I put him in a room so he could lie down. Poor soul, he's...

Carly: Did he say what was hurting him?

Gus: Ow! My stomach! [Breathes hard]

Jennifer: Wow! What is this?

Waiter: It's our private room booked just for you and Mr. Buffet.

Jennifer: He arranged this?

Waiter: He did, indeed, Mrs. Devereaux. Enjoy your dinner.

Jennifer: Thank you. Wow.

Daniel: [Clears throat]

Jennifer: Oh. There-- hey.

Carly: So...we meet again.

Gus: Yeah, it has been a long time.

Carly: Hmm.

Gus: Ow!

Carly: Golly, I'm sorry. Did that hurt?

Gus: Look, stop, please.

Carly: You want me to stop? You know, I remember telling you that when my best buddy Vivian, who, for some unfathomable reason, has you under her spell, told you to hold me prisoner!

Gus: Me? I did that?

Carly: Are you in love with her? Do you like creepy old women who just treat you like crap?

Gus: I don't know what you're talking about. Ow!

Carly: Oh, so along with stomach pain, there's memory loss. Is that another symptom, Gus?

Gus: Look, would you just please stop poking me?

Carly: I'm trying to figure out what's wrong with you... other than the fact that you're a pathetic loser whose life work is to kiss Vivian Alamain's little stinky ass!

Gus: Will you stop manhandling me? God, how about an x-ray or an MRI or something?

Carly: MRI! That is a brilliant idea.

Gus: Of course it is. [Sighs]

Carly: You lay here, and I will be back. Don't move.

Bo: Whoever's responsible for our witness turning up dead... will be punished to the fullest extent of the law.

EJ: Well...hip, hip, hooray. And happy hunting.

Stefano: What do you say, Elvis...why don't we go home?

EJ: Could you unshackle us, please, or do I have to get a proper lawyer here?

Roman: Well, don't get too comfortable in that mansion of yours, EJ.

Bo: Uncuff him.

Woods: You blew it, commissioner. I don't know how, but you managed. Kudos to all.

Bo: Take them down to get their release papers.

Stefano: Unbelievable.

Sami: You know what? This isn't over...okay? It's not over.

Woods: 'Scuse me.

Chad: What do you want?

Woods: I'm here to inform you that your gangster father and brother managed to weasel their way out of trouble... again.

Chad: Wait--what?

Woods: They're being released. The star witness set to testify against them turned up dead... as luck would have it.

Abigail: I'm--I'm Abigail Devereaux.

Woods: Oh. Yeah? You two an item?

Chad: None of your damn business. Abigail, this is district attorney woods. He used to be my father.

Abigail: Oh.

Chad: Till I found the real one.

Woods: So Chad hasn't explained this to you yet? [Laughs] Your boyfriend here did what any red-blooded American boy would have done in his position--when he found out he was a DiMera, he jumped at his chance for money and power.

Chad: It wasn't about the power or the money, you jerk.

Woods: How dare you talk to me like that!

Chad: It was because my real father actually gave a damn... which is more than I can ever say about you.

Gus: Okay, first phase of mission completed. Onto phase two.

Jennifer: Daniel, hey.

Daniel: Hey.

Jennifer: Um, I was supposed to... why are you here?

Daniel: I was just about to ask you the same question.

Jennifer: Oh, I got a call earlier. There's a philanthropist. He wants to make a donation to the hospital, so his assistant set--set this whole thing up.

Daniel: Wow. Well...

Jennifer: What about you?

Daniel: No, I just have a... a meeting with Carly--dinner. Yeah.

Jennifer: Oh, that--that's great. I'm glad you're spending time together.

Daniel: Yeah. Yeah.

Jennifer: Is she doing okay?

Daniel: Yeah, yeah, she's doing okay. She--she's okay.

Jennifer: Good. Good. How are you doing?

Daniel: Uh, me? Not, uh... uh... I miss you...Jennifer.

[Cell phone rings]

Daniel: Uh, hold on.

Jennifer: That's okay.

Daniel: It's a text from Carly.

Jennifer: Oh. Yeah. You need to take that.

Daniel: Yeah. Uh...she's not going to be able to make it.

Jennifer: Oh, I'm sure it's work.

Daniel: Uh, it is.

Jennifer: Yeah.

Daniel: Yeah.

Jennifer: That's a shame. I'm sorry for you.

Daniel: Yeah, well, you know, uh...[Laughs] Anyway, you know, good luck with the--with the--

Jennifer: Thank you. Yes.

Daniel: With the philanthropist...guy, so...

Jennifer: I'll see you.

Daniel: Yeah. You will.

Waiter: Mrs. Devereaux, I am so sorry.

Jennifer: What, is there a problem?

Waiter: Mr. Buffet called to say he couldn't make it, and he sends his regards.

Jennifer: Oh, I don't believe it. Really?

Waiter: Can I do anything?

Jennifer:, no, no. It's fine. Thank you.

Daniel: Pfff. Ha. Well, um... looks like it's just, uh... us.

Taylor: EJ, EJ, would you just wait?

EJ: What?

Taylor: I... I just wanted to say that I-I hope that you're not gonna fight Sami for the children.

EJ: Well, I don't really think that's any of your concern.

Taylor: She's their mother.

EJ: Let me ask you something. Did you come down here to stop Rafe...Rafe's imposter from making a deal? From giving me up?

Taylor: I didn't want that man to get away with killing my mother.

EJ: Even though that would mean that I would avoid prosecution?

Taylor: Look, I still think you need to pay for your part in all of this.

EJ: I am paying. Dearly. I suppose it would be too much to hope that, uh... you might be able to forgive me.

Taylor: Yeah, it would be. I don't think that I'm ever gonna be able to look at you the same... much less forgive you.

EJ: Well...we'll see about that.

Sami: EJ and Stefano had the creature killed. How could Bo let this happen? How could--

Rafe: Sami, stop, stop it. Right now we just need to focus on what we can do, do you understand?

Sami: No. No, I don't! I can't focus on anything except for that. Look, I have grown up here. My entire life, the DiMeras have gotten away with murder-- literally. But this is different. This means that EJ has another chance to take Johnny and Sydney away from me.

Rafe: That is never gonna happen. It's not.

Sami: But you agree he's gonna try, right?

Rafe: I don't know. Listen, listen, all I know is that I love you with all of my heart. And I love those kids, and I'm gonna do whatever I can to protect them. You believe that, right?

Sami: Yeah, of course I do.

Rafe: Okay, okay, good. Those kids, they need you now more than ever.

Sami: Yeah, but what about what happened--

Rafe: Sami, Sami, please. Would you just listen to me?

Sami: But what--

Rafe: Go on home. Take care of them, okay?

Sami: Aren't you--

Rafe: I will deal with them, okay? I'll make this right. Believe me.

Sami: I do believe you, Rafe. But I can't go home yet. There's something I gotta do first.

Carly: Here you go.

Gus: What is that?

Carly: These are the tests that we think would be prudent to run.

Gus: What tests? Does that involve a needle?

Carly: Yeah.

Gus: You know what? I feel much better. In fact...[Exhales] I think I feel hungry. You know what? I'm gonna go get myself a big slice of pizza.

Carly: Oh, no, no, no pizza for you, pal. Have a seat. Nurse Maxine will be in here to prep you, and then if you have any questions, dr. Carter will be taking over for me, okay?

Gus: Oh, your purse.

Carly: Yeah, my purse. It's open.

Gus: Must have left it that way.

Carly: I don't leave my purse open.

Gus: Are you sure? Perhaps your memory's failing you as well, dr. Manning.

Carly: You really are scum. You know that?

Gus: I swear, I didn't take anything from your purse! I didn't even know it was there.

Carly: You know what you can do for your stomach pains, Gus?

Gus: Please--

Carly: Take your friend Vivian and shove her off a cliff and get a real life!

Gus: Look, I would never do that. I have tremendous respect for miss Alamain. I think she's a woman of great principle.

Carly: Principle? Kinda like Eva Braun, huh? You know, you've got your head so shoved up her... feel better.

Jennifer: Yeah, I mean, there's really no point in staying here. You're not meeting Carly, and my philanthropist is a no-show.

Daniel: Yeah, that's right. Doesn't really make sense for us to just, you know, stay here.

Jennifer: Yeah.

Daniel: Right? Uh... you know, on the other hand, though--

Jennifer: There's another hand?

Daniel: Oh, yeah. There's another one. just would be a shame, don't you think, for all of this go to waste, you know, the flowers, the champagne.

Jennifer: Yeah, I mean, it would kinda be a waste. You know, the philanthropist, he had all of this sent over.

Daniel: Oh, yeah, I mean, what a nice guy. Very nice of him to just-- [Whistles]

Jennifer: Very nice. I mean, very nice for him to blow me off, too, I guess.

Daniel: At least he blew you off in style, right? I mean, look at this--look at this. Look right here. This right here...that's top shelf right there.

Jennifer: Oh, that is nice. Wow!

Daniel: And wow--we can't really let it go to waste. See--open, and... right, might as well have a glass, right? At least one.

Jennifer: Yes, we should. We should not let this go to waste.

Daniel: Cannot let this go to waste at all, so...would you like a drink?

Jennifer: Yes.

Daniel: One glass. For you.

Jennifer: Thank you. Wow. That's good.

Daniel: No, that's really go--that's really good. This philanthropist guy, whoever he is, I mean, this guy went all-out. Forget the donation. I think this guy's trying to woo you.

Jennifer: Wait a minute.

Daniel: Hmm. What?

Jennifer: Warner... okay. War--Warner buffet.

Daniel: What?

Jennifer: Doesn't that name sound a little bit fake, a little bit hokey?

Daniel: Hokey? Oh, that's the guy's name, this donation guy.

Jennifer: You know exactly-- yes, that's his name. You know it's his name.

Daniel: How would I know it's his name?

Jennifer: I feel so stupid! You set this up!

Daniel: What are you talking about?

Jennifer: You set it up. You made me look like such a fool right now.

Rafe: Okay. Now, you guys are gonna tell me what the hell happened here, even if it takes all night.

Felon 1: What in the name of... w-what is this?

Felon 2: It's a walking ghost, I guess.

Rafe: No. No ghost. You killed the guy who looked like me. Now, you don't have a prayer of getting out of here till I find out exactly what went down, you hear me?

Felon 1: Forget that. I'm not gettin' out of here anyway...thanks to you.

Rafe: Ha...

EJ: Samantha. I was wondering when I'd see you.

Sami: I just have something I wanna say to you.

EJ: [Sighs] Then we have a lot to talk about.

Sami: I don't know what you think you're doing with those law books. If you think there's anything in there that covers the horrible, evil, vile things that you have done to me and to're kidding yourself.

EJ: Look, I'm not working on my own defense, Samantha. This actually... this is about your relationship with, um...Johnny and Sydney.

Sami: No. No, EJ, I will not let you take those kids away from me.

Woods: You know what your problem is, Chad? You think the world owes you a living.

Chad: Ah! So that's my problem.

Woods: It's a damn sense of entitlement. You think the whole world should kiss your spoiled little butt. But what you really are is a devious B.S. artist. You always were!

Chad: And what you truly are, D.A. Woods, is a dirt bag. I been waiting a long time to say that.

Woods: They don't need a DNA test to prove you're one of them, do they?

Chad: I'm just relieved as hell that I'm not related to you. Now, that would really depress me.

Woods: Word of advice. Get out while you still can.

Daniel: Uh, okay, w-wait a second.

Jennifer: Warren buffet. That is such a joke! And his pompous assistant.

Daniel: Assistant? What assistant?

Jennifer: It was Maxine, right?

Daniel: Maxine?

Jennifer: 'Cause Maxine would do that for you. She worships the ground you walk on.

Daniel: Hold it right there.

Jennifer: I can't even believe I fell for this whole--

Daniel: Just hold it! Shh! Okay. First of all, Maxine's a professional, and I could never and would never get her or any employee...

Jennifer: Oh, yes, you could get Maxine to do that.

Daniel: To pull a malicious stunt like that.

Jennifer: She would do that for you.

Daniel: Would you let me finish? Secondly...if I were to do something like this, pull a stunt like this, I sure as hell would come up with a more clever name than warren buffet. You don't really know me. Thought ya did... but maybe you don't.

Rafe: Well.

Bo: Hey.

Rafe: Well, none of them are exactly copping to anything, but one of the prisoners is an old perp of mine from bureau days.

Bo: And?

Rafe: And this was his third strike. Uh...blames me for it because I was behind the second collar. Now, what I'm thinking is that, well, the guy figured he had nothing to lose, so he took out the double thinking it was me.

Hope: Makes sense.

Bo: Yeah, it does. Good work. Why don't you go home to your family?

Rafe: All right. Let me know if anything changes.

Bo: Yeah, I will. And sorry we didn't come through for you.

Rafe: Well, you did your best. We all did. Sami's just worried how this is gonna affect the kids. Honestly, it worries me too. I'll see you.

Sami: God, you just don't stop, do you?

EJ: Look, Samantha, if we could just please have an honest, adult conversation about this, I would--

Sami: Honest and adult. Yes. You know what? That is a great idea. I am definitely capable of doing that.

EJ: Sa-Samantha, stop it, please! You have no idea what you-- would you please just--

Sami: Oh, really? I know exactly what I'm doing. I know that you are an arrogant jerk, and I know that you don't know anything about how to take care of those kids. You think you--you're a good parent for doing this? You think Johnny's gonna forgive you? You've broken his heart. He is terrified of you, if you don't know that by now! Oh! You know what? These look important.

EJ: No, it--

Sami: This all looks super-important. You are unbelievable. I am not letting you do this. I am not letting you hurt our children anymore. You think you can force them to come here. You can brainwash Johnny into becoming a DiMera. He is never gonna forgive you!

EJ: That's exactly why I'm doing this.

Sami: I am not letting this happen.

EJ: Sorry, Samantha. But you don't have a choice.

Chad: You know, I'd have to admit.

Abigail: What?

Chad: It was kinda satisfying telling off my d--[Stammers] The D.A. Woods like that. Wow.

Abigail: Yeah, I bet.

Chad: I cannot believe I almost referred to that jerk as my dad. Ah.

Abigail: Well, he was. Right? I mean, you thought he was for most of your life.

Chad: Yeah, but, uh...I mean, a part of me always suspected, you know. Well, not when I was a little kid but...since I was about ten or so, I couldn't see myself in him at all. And I don't mean physically. It was like...I somehow sensed that I wasn't related to that man at all. I mean, he--he must have known.

Abigail: That--that you weren't his?

Chad: Well, yeah. I mean, how could he not? He didn't look like me. He's short, I'M...I'm tall, like EJ. Our personalities are nothing alike, thank god.

Abigail: Did you ever question your mom about it?

Chad: No, but it was like I's something I just suspected. And my mom, well...she's a really good person. And she just seemed...sad all the time. And I didn't want to add to that.

Abigail: Yeah, I understand.

Chad: You know what I wish?

Abigail: Hmm? Tell me.

Chad: That we could-- right now--step out of it all. Be somewhere else, just the two of us.

Abigail: Well, you know we, uh, we kinda are just the two of us right now.

Chad: Yeah, I guess so.

Abigail: And what's wrong with being right here, right?

Jennifer: I can't tell if you're being serious right now.

Daniel: Oh, I'm dead serious. You insulted me, Jennifer. No, you really did. You thought that I'd pull such a juvenile prank on you?

Jennifer: I-I'm sorry. I real--I didn't mean to insult you. This is embarrassing right now.

Daniel: Yeah, well, you know, it is embarrassing. But let me reiterate here. This isn't my style, playing games like this...I mean, trying to get someone to do, I don't know, whatever. It's classless, it's lame, and yet you thought that I would plan this.

Jennifer: I'm sorry. I-I get it. I get that I--that I insulted you by accusing you of this. Can we--can we please forget about this and move on? Really?

Daniel: You know what, yeah. You know what? Absolutely. Yes.

Jennifer: And, uh, what you said know, I just want you to know the feeling is mutual.

Daniel: What--what feeling?

Jennifer: You know, just about us not having dinner together...even though that we're here, here together...

Daniel: Okay, wait a minute. Wait a minute--what--what--what does that even mean?

Jennifer: I don't know what it means. I need to go.

Daniel: No, no! Hold it, hold it. No, no, no, we're gonna straighten this out right here. All right, because you were the one--you were the one who doesn't want to be with me, remember?

Jennifer: No, I never said--

Daniel: Yeah, you kinda did. Not in so many words, but you said that.

Jennifer: I never said that I didn't want to be with you.

Daniel: Oh, my god, now I'm confused. What does that even mean? Look, do you wanna be with me--

Jennifer: Yes.

Daniel: Or not? Yes?

Jennifer: No! I--

Daniel: What?

Jennifer: Yes, yes, I want to be with you, but I--

Daniel: No.

Abe: You sure you don't need a lift home?

Taylor: Yeah, I'm good.

Abe: You can stay with us a bit. You know Theo and Lexie would like that.

Taylor: I know. I think I need a little alone time.

Abe: I understand.

Taylor: Wait. May you rot in hell.

Rafe: [Sighs] "Went to bed. Mom said to tell you she'd be home soon. Will." Where the hell did she go? Oh, my god, Sami!

Sami: What is that?

EJ: I'm, uh...I'm giving you full custody of the children.

Sami: You're giving me the kids?

EJ: I listened to what you said. And you were right. I don't deserve them. And I don't want to hurt them anymore than I already have.

Vivian: Carly took the bait.

Daniel: I deserve an explanation!

Rafe: What are you trying to pull on Samantha this time?
