EJ: No, you don't get to tell me that I am making a mistake, all right? Listen, I know the law just as well as you do. And this is what I want. So just do me a favor and make it happen. All right? Thank you. [Sighs]

Abigail: Have you heard the news?

Jennifer: About Stefano and EJ? Yes, I did.

Abigail: It's really bad, isn't it?

Jennifer: Yeah. Yeah, it's bad. I'm not really sure if I can spin this positive for you.

Abigail: What's Chad supposed to make of this? I mean, what's--what's going to happen to him?

Rafe: Good news. Just checked the status of Allie's' flight, and she's coming home on time.

Sami: Wait. Oh, I missed her so much. I cannot wait to put my hands on that girl.

Rafe: Yeah. I kind of got that when I saw the menagerie of new stuffed animals in her bedroom and the six bags of groceries full of her favorite foods.

Sami: Are you suggesting that I went overboard?

Rafe: You are allowed. Totally.

Sami: Uh, yeah. I better be. Do you think that Johnny and Sydney will want to come with us to the airport?

Rafe: I don't know. If they don't, I'll stay here with them.

Sami: Or we could just drop them off at grandma's, and then you could come.

Rafe: Yes, but if I stay here, you can go see Allie alone and talk to her, since she is going to be seeing me for the first time.

Sami: Oh, god. I just don't know what to say to her. I mean, how do I explain? How do I explain to my daughter that it's all my fault that she has been through this?

Bo: Okay. Thanks, man.

Hope: Hey.

Bo: Oh, hey. How'd it go with Frankenrafe?

Hope: Uh... I'll tell you all about it once I delouse.

Bo: That bad, huh?

Hope: Oh, my god. Seriously, I just--you know, I think pretending to be Rafe kind of kept a lid on his essential scumminess. The gloves are off now.

Bo: So you weren't able to make a deal?

Hope: [Sighs] Well, he doesn't trust the Bradys any more than he does the DiMeras. He said he'd rather take his chances in prison.

Bo: Aw, hell.

Hope: You know, he's just-- he's a pig. He-- the last thing he--never mind.

Bo: What?

Hope: I just--

Bo: Hey. What? Hope.

Hope: He said, "give that pretty little girl of yours a big, wet kiss from uncle Rafe." Wait, Bo. No, no, no. Stop, stop. Stop. You can't let him see you like this. It just gets him going. And he'll enjoy it. Take a deep breath. Breathe. Okay.

Bo: [Exhales deeply] All right, all right. There is another way to prove that he's connected to the DiMeras.

EJ: [Sighs] What do you want?

Chad: [Sighs] The truth? What did you and Stefano do to Rafe Hernandez?

Rafe: Hon, I don't think that feeling guilty is going to be a whole lot of help to Allie.

Sami: I know that. But she's going to be looking to me for answers. I'm her mother. I should have answers.

Rafe: Well...

Sami: But I don't. I mean, why didn't I listen to her when she told me that Rafe was mean to her? I should have done something.

Rafe: Like what?

Sami: Anything. Anything would have been better than telling her to be patient with "Rafe" because he wasn't acting like himself. Oh, my god. I can't believe I said that.

Rafe: Sami, it was like the second or third time that she said that he was mean to her, you got her out of here.

Sami: I should have kicked his ass out.

Rafe: Sami, listen to me. You never stopped thinking that something was wrong with the guy. You never stopped trying to get to the bottom of it.

Sami: I should have known.

Rafe: All right--

Sami: Rafe, I should have known.

Rafe: Sami, please. We talked about this, didn't we? Right? You said you weren't going to beat yourself up about this. Listen, I'm a trained FBI agent, and under those circumstances-- I mean, come on.

Sami: Oh, come on. I have grown up with the DiMeras. I know what they are capable of.

Rafe: Your little girl is coming home. That's what's important, okay? Focus on that. Otherwise, the DiMeras, they win. Okay?

Hope: You saw the double staring at a mug shot on Rafe's computer?

McCarthy: Right.

Bo: One of our roadblocks is that we have no idea who this guy is. I mean, it's--it's like Stefano erased him from the database when he hired him.

Hope: Well, he probably did.

Bo: So if this guy is a friend, any kind of connection, it could be a start.

McCarthy: Yeah, luckily, I got a good look at the mug shot. I just have to find it again.

Hope: Does the double know you saw it?

McCarthy: Yeah, I told him I thought the guy looked like a sicko. And he got all offended.

Hope: I won...what..

Bo: What?

Hope: What if--what if the guy in the mug shot isn't a friend? What if it's the double with his real face and his real name?

Bo: And he was checking the database to see if he was still there.

Hope: Exactly. It makes sense.

Bo: McCarthy, find that picture.

McCarthy: I'm going as fast as I can, boss. It's just going to take me a while to track down everything he looked up.

Hope: Listen, I could go back in. Tell him we're on to his true identity. Maybe that'll--

Bo: No, no, no. Let him sit there in his own stink. Stare at the walls. I want him to think we've given up on him.

Hope: Yeah, well, what are we going to do? Stand around here and hope we get lucky?

Bo: No, there's another way to go about this.

Hope: I was hoping you'd say that.

Bo: Tell you about it in the car.

Hope: Let's go.

Bo: Hang in there.

Hope: We'll be back.

Lexie: Ooh, that was rough.

Daniel: Ugh.

Maxine: How's Mr. Clark doing?

Daniel: Well, we got it all. He's in recovery.

Maxine: Already?

Daniel: Yeah, our friend Lexie here had the idea that the tumor was bigger than it looked in the scan, and, uh... she was right.

Lexie: Well, I'm just happy for the patient.

Maxine: Well, I'll bet you his wife and three little kids are happy too. You two are the best.

Daniel: Thank you.

Lexie: Whew. I am so glad that things turned out well. I mean, I was... I was afraid I wouldn't be myself in there.

Daniel: Yeah, I saw the paper this morning.

Lexie: Yeah. Most everyone did.

Daniel: Well, I didn't know what to say.

Lexie: Oh, you mean there's nothing in the card store that says, "thinking of you after your father created an exact double of his grandchildren's stepfather"?

Daniel: Well, you know, in this town, they could make money on a card like that.

Lexie: [Laughs] You know what, you're right.

Daniel: Just saying.

Lexie: Goodness. Well, I guess all that talk about Rafe not being himself was accurate.

Daniel: Yeah, I know. You know, Sami brought Rafe in here a couple of weeks after the accident, and the MRI scan showed that he didn't have an accident. Guess we know why.

Lexie: Mm. One thing you can say about my father and brother. They're creative.

Daniel: [Chuckles] Yeah, how is it that you decided to use your superpowers for good?

Lexie: Oh, I flirted with the dark side. Didn't turn out well.

Daniel: Let me, uh... let me buy you a coffee.

Lexie: Yeah. Yeah, thanks. Daniel, you know... when I think of what Sami and those children went through, I could--I could strangle my father.

Daniel: Yeah, it can't be too easy for you, either.

Lexie: Ugh. No, I'm--yeah. It's not just me. I mean, the media-- sugar, please. Thank you. Is all over Abe. Because he's married to a DiMera.

Daniel: Mm-hmm.

Lexie: I just--I just wish I could convince Abe that we should take a leave of absence. Get out of this town. Take Theo away.

Daniel: You could do that, but wouldn't that be running away?

Abigail: I saw Chad at the hospital when EJ was a patient. And he told me that Stefano already has made him feel more a part of a family than he ever felt with his mother and the guy that he thought was his father.

Jennifer: I know. He grew up believing the D.A. Was his father, right? And now the D.A. Could be prosecuting his real father. That's crazy.

Abigail: What's this going to do to him, mom?

Jennifer: Well, Stefano and EJ, they haven't been charged yet.

Abigail: Well, the news said that they kidnapped Sami's husband. And they passed off that other guy as him.

Jennifer: Right, but nothing's been proven.

Abigail: As far as we know. And they have that other guy in jail.

Jennifer: All right. Well, you know what I-I see from this? I see two really good things.

Abigail: Really? 'Cause I don't see any.

Jennifer: Well, listen, Chad wasn't involved in any way. Right? And now, he's going to have to see what the DiMera family really is.

Abigail: Hmm. Chad said that Stefano's starting to rely on him.

Jennifer: Whatever that means.

Abigail: If Stefano and EJ go to prison, then... does that mean that Chad becomes the head of their family?

Jennifer: Well, you know what, that could be his worst nightmare. And yours too, honey.

EJ: You want me to confide in you, is that right? Man to man.

Chad: I want to know what to say when the phone rings and it's a reporter.

EJ: You tell them to shut the hell up, and then you hang up the phone.

Chad: Oh. So you did it. You kidnapped Rafe? And you put that other dude in his place?

EJ: Let's just say that I've been advised by my attorney not to say anything.

Chad: Oh, you know what? That's--that's cool. Because you know what? I have a feeling that anything you tell me is just gonna be a bunch of bull.

[Knock at door]

Sami: Oh. It's, uh, aunt hope and uncle Bo. Hey.

Both: Hi.

Sami: What's up? Is there some news?

Bo: Uh...we need your help.

Lexie: No. I don't see trying to shield my son from his grandfather's criminal activities as running away.

Daniel: Okay. I'll shut my mouth off. Bad habit. Sorry.

Lexie: I'm--I'm sorry. No, I'm--I'm sorry.

Daniel: No, no, no.

Lexie: Oh, god. I...I just want to go away, and stay away until this is all over.

Daniel: All right, you know what bothers me is that it's you, Abe, and Theo shouldn't be the ones to have to leave town.

Lexie: Yeah, I know. I know.

[Sighs] Even if we do, I mean, this will never be over.

Daniel: You seem pretty sure they're guilty.

Lexie: Come on, Daniel. You know what they're capable of. [Sighs] But Theo doesn't. You know, my baby doesn't. He doesn't. And because he's so young, and because he's on the spectrum, I... I don't know how to tell him why I want to take him away from his uncle and his grandfather. You know, I mean, to him, I'd be the bad guy.

Jennifer: Here's what I think about this situation. Don't borrow trouble.

Abigail: Who has to borrow it? There's plenty to go around.

Jennifer: Have you even talked to Chad yet?

Abigail: No, and that bothers me, too.

Jennifer: Yeah, he's got a lot to think about.

Abigail: I know, I know.

Jennifer: Well, listen, you-- you were really careful with him, you know, from the very beginning. And now you trust him, right?

Abigail: Yeah, but he had me convinced that the DiMeras had somehow cleaned up their act. Now I know they were just going underground.

Jennifer: All right, but it doesn't change the fact that you are a smart cookie, and you think Chad's a good guy. So a good guy is going to keep his distance from a bad family.

Abigail: Yeah, well, try. Who knows if he'll actually be able to?

Jennifer: My money's on Chad.

Abigail: Yeah, well, your money was also on dad, and look how that ended up.

Jennifer: Abigail, I want you to stop talking about your father like that, okay?

EJ: Why would I lie to you? I mean, you're a part of the clan. Right? You having second thoughts?

Chad: This isn't about me.

EJ: Oh, come on, Chad. Come on, be a little bit creative, hmm? I mean, think about it. Think outside the box for a second. You could, uh--you could be the good son. You can be the-- the Michael Corleone, hmm? You can have evolved.

Chad: So you're just going to jerk me around instead of leveling with me? What, afraid I'm going to call the cops?

EJ: Try and get this through that thick little head of yours, Chad. I don't really give a damn what happens to me.

Rafe: You're kidding me. He turned down witness protection 'cause he doesn't want to rat on the DiMeras?

Sami: He'd rather go to prison for murder?

Bo: Yeah, and he won't last inside.

Hope: Yeah, if his big mouth doesn't get him killed, then--

Sami: Stefano probably will, right?

Hope: Absolutely.

Rafe: Right. So you said you needed help?

Bo: Yeah, we're trying to figure out who the double was before Stefano turned him into you.

Rafe: Hmm. Got any leads?

Hope: Well, he was looking at, uh, mug shots on your computer. We're thinking maybe he was looking at his old self.

Bo: If we could figure out who he was, you know, it could give us some leverage.

Sami: Of course. So what can we do?

Bo: Actually, it's you, Sami. You're the one who spent the most time with him, and I'd like you to think about that time and see if you can come up with anything that could help us.

Rafe: Bo, you know, Allie's' coming home today.

Bo: Yeah, good. Good.

Rafe: Yeah, yeah, it is good. And, um, I was just talking with Sami, and I think the best way for us to move on is just to focus on being a family right now. Just try and put some of this stuff behind us.

Hope: Sami, we know how much you've been through.

Rafe: I don't see how.

Sami: It's okay, Rafe, actually. I want to help. I want to do whatever I have to to nail those bastards.

Chad: You could go to prison.

EJ: Chad. I've already lost... everything that matters to me. I lost my father's respect. I lost the woman that I love, and I've lost my children. Most of all, I lost my children. So in answer to your question, yes. I...arranged for Rafe to be kidnapped. And I was involved in the impostor taking his place. I did it because I wanted to end Samantha's marriage to Rafe, and I did not want him to become a father to my children. I had means, I had motive, and I had opportunity. So here. Brother. You go ahead. You call the police. You tell them what I just told you.

Chad: Look, EJ. I don't think I should be the one to do that.

EJ: Do it!

Rafe: I just don't want Sami to have to relive that nightmare. There's gotta be another way.

Sami: No, you know what? This is gonna be different.

Rafe: Well, how?

Sami: Because. Because I'm in charge. I get to help. I get to help everybody nail them for what they did to me. And then I won't feel like such a victim.

Bo: We're not just relying on Sami. She's our backup in case this mug shot thing doesn't pan out.

Sami: Look, I am happy to be your plan "b," okay?

Hope: No one knows EJ and Stefano like you do. If you could just help us prove there was a conspiracy between them and the double, then that means anything he did, they also did.

Sami: So if he murdered Fay--

Hope: In the eyes of the law, they murdered Fay.

Sami: Okay, what do you need?

Bo: So think about the interactions between the double and the DiMeras. Anything that can prove their connection.

Hope: Anything. Anything you remember, no matter how small or inconsequential it seemed at the time. It could be the nail in their coffin.

Abigail: So dad's a good guy now? Isn't that, like, revisionist history?

Jennifer: Now, sweetie, I know that sounds confusing.

Abigail: Yeah, it kinda does.

Jennifer: I know. I'm confused too.

Abigail: So what exactly are you confused about?

Jennifer: You know what, sweetie, it's--it's difficult. It's--it's really complicated to--to end a marriage with the father of your children. I wouldn't even have you right now if I hadn't been so in love with your dad. And he with me. So listen to me. Just because... just because something ends, it doesn't mean that it didn't have great value, okay? I mean, imagine if we looked at life like that. You know, I mean, we all know that it ends at some point. But it doesn't take away its meaning.

Abigail: I know.

Jennifer: Good. Look at me. All I'm saying right now is that I think that maybe I have gained some perspective. But, like I said before, I love your dad. Because he gave me you and your brother, and you are the two greatest blessings in my life.

Sami: Okay, so at the very beginning, we were having this birthday party for, um, for Sydney and Johnny, who'd just come back from the hospital. And, uh, so we needed a cake, right? And EJ said he would go get one. And then "Rafe" offered to go with him. Which I thought was crazy at the time, because obviously, Rafe would not want to spend two minutes alone with EJ.

Hope: Right, of course. They wanted to talk.

Bo: Good, good. That's a start.

Sami: But it's not enough, right? Um, oh. He, um, he made a pass at Stephanie.

Hope: Are you--what?

Bo: Dirtbag.

Sami: She said it was really creepy, too.

Hope: Yeah, well, I'll give her a call and find out exactly what happened.

Rafe: You might want to call Nicole, too. He hit on her as well.

Sami: How do you know that?

Rafe: She came by here after I got back. Wanted to pick up where they left off.

Sami: I will scratch her eyes out. Did he hit on everything that moved?

Bo: Okay. Well, Nicole will be useful. She hates EJ.

Sami: There's someone else you should talk to.

Jennifer: So tell me, what's--what's going on in your pretty little head?

Abigail: I'm wondering if... if you're thinking that--

Jennifer: What? Thinking what?

Abigail: That it's okay if Chad's the father of my children.

Jennifer: What? Honey, I-I don't want to think about the father of your children. For at least ten years, please. Look, all I'm saying is that people are more complicated than you're willing to admit, okay?

Abigail: Chad got a girl pregnant in high school.

Jennifer: All right. Uh, is he a part of that child's life?

Abigail: No. The baby, she, uh... she died when she was only a few months old.

Jennifer: Oh, that's--that's awful. I'm sorry.

Abigail: This changes everything for you, right? Now Chad's the spawn of the devil and I have to break up with him.

Jennifer: No, sweetie, I didn't say anything like that. But you are having a hard day, and you are obviously really upset with me.

Abigail: I'm sorry.

Jennifer: It's all right. I think that maybe you realize, more than I even thought, how complicated people can be.

Abigail: Well, with Chad, things just keep getting more and more complicated. But you know, it-- Maggie told me that, uh, I shouldn't be afraid of love.

Jennifer: Guess what? Aunt Maggie is always right.

Abigail: Is she?

Jennifer: Yeah.

Abigail: Then how come you had it and you went screaming in the other direction?

Maxine: I hate to interrupt, but I think there's a mistake on the O.R. Schedule. They have you scheduled to work both days this weekend.

Daniel: No, that's not a mistake.

Maxine: You're working six days in a row?

Daniel: Well, if I don't have a problem with it, you shouldn't have a problem with it.

Maxine: Your life.

Lexie: Well. Um, I-I thought you were taking Jennifer to san Francisco this weekend.

Daniel: Mm, no, that's canceled.

Lexie: Why?

Daniel: Maybe you should ask her.

EJ: Well, that makes it official.

Chad: I don't know what you're talking about.

EJ: Yeah, you do. You made up your mind. You decided to become a DiMera. Start with a rich soil,

Sami: The reason I ended up kicking him out was that Dario showed up here and confronted the creature about how he had had a woman here the night before.

Bo: What woman?

Sami: I don't know. Some skank he picked up in a bar.

Rafe: Her name was Alicia. She came here also. She was like 5'10", green eyes. Dario could probably give you a better description.

Bo: Well, good. Good. Um... if she was a stranger, maybe he was more open with her.

Hope: Well, guys, uh, you've been a huge help. Thank you so much. If you think of anything else, just please let us know, okay?

Bo: Yeah, sorry to have to put you through this again, Sami.

Sami: You know what, I'm happy to help. I will do whatever I can. And actually, there is something else I'd be more than happy to do.

Bo: What's that?

Sami: [Scoffs] You said I spent more time with fake "Rafe" than anybody else. You give me half an hour alone with him, I'll get whatever you need.

Jennifer: You know what, I am on a deadline. And I need to get back to my work.

Abigail: Oh. You don't want to talk about breaking up with Daniel so that he can hook up with Carly and save her from being a drug addict?

Jennifer: I'll have you know that Carly's doing a lot better.

Abigail: Oh, is she? Is that because she has hope now that she and Daniel are going to work out?

Jennifer: Maybe.

Abigail: There is no hope for her and Daniel, mom! He wants you. I mean, doesn't that even matter to you, what he wants?

Daniel: I don't know. Jen, she said a lot of stuff, but I don't know. I don't know. I don't know if I believe it.

Lexie: Do you want to share with me the nature of this stuff? Or--or is that being nosy?

Daniel: No, no, no, no, no. You know what? Here's--here it is. She said--she said she thought that things were going too fast. Rushed. And she doesn't want to be emotionally dependent on a man.

Lexie: Is this about Jack?

Daniel: Yeah, well, see, that's what she wants me to think.

Lexie: You don't believe it?

Daniel: Uh...Lexie, I don't-- I don't know. I don't know what to believe. I mean--I mean, her divorce. Just finalized. Maybe she looked at the paper and she realized that's--that's not what she wants. I mean, I--

Lexie: Yeah, but I mean, how could she want to be with a man who--who left her? Basically went halfway around the world and doesn't even call her.

Daniel: I don't know. I don't know, but she's not talking.

Lexie: [Sighs] I'm sorry. I'm sorry, I--really, I thought the two of you were good together.

Daniel: Oh, I did too. I did, I felt the same way. I was feeling it. We were into it. But now, I-- you know what, I have no choice but to just back off.

EJ: [Sighs]

Chad: Just tell me one thing. How involved was father?

EJ: [Sighs] You're hoping... that I'm going to tell you this was all my idea? Somehow I forced him to be complicit?

Chad: Well, he was pretty angry with you this morning. Said he never wanted to see your face. What the hell am I supposed to think?

EJ: Care about him?

Chad: He saw a set of test results and he took me in. Tried to get to know me. Made me part of the family. Guy who raised me wasn't like that. Not even when he believed I was his biological son.

EJ: You love him?

Chad: Yeah, guess I do.

EJ: Then it may interest you to know that when I go to prison, father will be sharing the cell with me. This other Rafe... this creation... was his idea.

Sami: They've got to give me some time alone with the creature. I mean, he's told me that I drive him crazy. He'll tell me all about EJ just to get me out of his face.

Rafe: Yeah, he'll also say anything he can to hurt you. You've been hurt enough, honey.

Sami: He can't hurt me now. He can't touch me.

Johnny: It was on TV.

Sami: What? What was, sweetheart?

Johnny: It said that daddy and Nonno might go to jail. It's a lie. We spend a lot of time on the feed

Jennifer: You know what, sweetie, I don't like hurting Daniel.

Abigail: But you're just doing it anyway?

Jennifer: You know, Carly's sanity is more important to me than my happiness or Daniel's.

Abigail: Do you ever feel like a busybody? Like you're arranging people's lives for them?

Jennifer: You know, I really hope that's not what I'm doing.

Abigail: Well, I'm thinking about breaking up with Chad before I even know how it plays out, so. Like mother, like daughter, right?

Jennifer: I think that you are trying to avoid getting hurt. And that is completely understandable.

Abigail: What are you doing, mom? Are you really trying to protect Carly? Are you trying to stay true to dad?

Lexie: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Aren't you the man who was just lecturing me about not running away?

Daniel: Well, I was told when a woman says "no," she means no.

Lexie: Hmm. Well, here's something else about a woman. You might want to listen to this. When her man does something that upsets her, sometimes she won't say anything. But in her head, she opens a computer file with his name on it. It has a little icon with his face on it. And she starts storing stuff in there.

Daniel: Really?

Lexie: Mm. Until one day, he does something--maybe not even that big of a thing, you know. Like, uh, I don't know. Throwing dirty gym clothes on the bed or something. And she's like, "all right. That's it. I've had it."

Daniel: Yeah, but see, Jennifer wasn't like that.

Lexie: No?

Daniel: No.

Lexie: Oh. Okay, well, on the off chance that she is like that, don't you think you have a right to know what's in that file? Wouldn't that be best for both of you?

Sami: Hey, Johnny, I guess I thought we agreed that you weren't gonna watch TV unless Rafe or I were in the room.

Johnny: My video was over.

Sami: Did Sydney see it?

Johnny: No, she fell asleep.

Rafe: Yeah, I carried her to bed.

Sami: Oh, great. Thank you. So, um, what did you see, exactly?

Johnny: The--the lady on TV said that daddy and Nonno might go to jail because of the bad things they did.

Rafe: Hmm.

Sami: You know what? No matter what daddy has done, it doesn't change how he feels about you. Johnny, look at me. He loves you. And he always will, sweetheart. Hey, um, you know Allie's' coming home in a little bit.

Johnny: I know.

Sami: Yeah? Do you want to go with us to pick her up at the airport?

Rafe: Well, all right. How about this? Maybe when we come home, we'll have pizza night. The way we used to.

Sami: [Gasps] Pizza? Pizza with mushrooms?

Johnny: Pizza with mushrooms?

Rafe: No, no, no. No mushrooms.

Sami: What?

Rafe: I'm ordering it with extra broccoli. Oh, yeah.

Johnny: I hate broccoli!

Sami: That's right, I forgot. He likes cauliflower. Cauliflower on his pizza.

Rafe: I forget.

Sami: Oh, I know.

Johnny: I hate cauliflower!

Sami: [Laughs]

Rafe: What?

Sami: Okay. All right, pizza with mushrooms. And then you know what else? When Sydney is ready, maybe we can stop by the toy store.

Johnny: Yeah!

Sami: [Laughs] Oh, I'm so proud of him.

Rafe: Me too.

Sami: I mean, I know we say it all the time, but just with everything he's been through, he is so strong.

Rafe: I know, right? I wonder where he gets that.

Sami: [Gasps]

Rafe: Guess.

Sami: Stop it. You are still totally in the doghouse. The whole Alicia thing?

Rafe: Yeah.

Sami: Stop, stop!

Rafe: Come on.

[Both laughing]

Bo: And that's everything? No, no, no, Stephanie. It's--it's very helpful. Yeah. Miss you too. Bye.

Hope: What did she say?

Bo: Well, he acted like he was trying to comfort her after she broke up with Nathan, but she knew he was just trying to grope her.

Hope: What a pig.

Bo: Yeah, she didn't give us anything that could be of any use. What about Alicia?

Hope: Yeah, well, I've been trying to track down Rafe's brother, try to get a full description. But I can't get him on the phone, and he's not at the cheatin' heart.

McCarthy: All right. I got it.

Hope: What?

Bo: [Exclaims]

EJ: Chad, the only difference between father and me is that I feel some sort of remorse for what I did. And he's just sorry that he got caught.

Chad: So you're going to lay this on him? Sell him down the river? Is that--that's your plan?

EJ: My plans are none of your business.

Chad: You know, when you asked me to be your best man, you said you were all about family. That was a lot of crap. You say you did this for Johnny and Sydney? You did this so you could stick it to Sami and Rafe. And you and father are headed to jail. Johnny and Sydney won't have a father or a grandfather. I won't have a brother or a father. Kate won't have a husband. And you made this happen because it pissed you off that Sami wanted another man?

EJ: Looks like you have me all figured out.

Chad: I thought I did. I thought you were this powerful, sophisticated guy who could get anything he wanted. And I was the jerk who knocked up his girlfriend and disappointed just about everyone. But at least I had some sense enough to realize what I got when I became part of this family. You had it all, but you blew it all to pieces for every one of us! You're the jerk.

Jennifer: Hey. Hi.

Daniel: I want to talk to you.

Jennifer: I would love to, but I'm on a deadline. And I need to get out of here.

Daniel: Je-- [Sighs]

Abigail: I'm sorry to bail on you like this, but, uh, you don't want me around right now. I would just be a drag. A total buzzkill. No, it's not about Chad.

[Door opens and shuts]

Abigail: Okay, maybe it is about Chad. Listen, I gotta go. Have fun.

Chad: You heard, didn't you? What happened? Come on, let me have it.

McCarthy: So his real name is Arnold Feniger.

Hope: No wonder he didn't want to tell us.

Bo: Mm.

McCarthy: He's got a rap sheet a mile long. Operated mainly in the Detroit area.

Bo: Mainly petty larceny. Wasn't very good at it.

Hope: He must've thought he hit pay dirt when he was recruited by the DiMeras.

Bo: Didn't know he was way out of his league. Good work, McCarthy. Now that we know who he is and where he's from, we can use it against him. What are you thinking?

Hope: I think I know a way we can get to him.

Sami: Okay, you really think she's going to like this doll?

Rafe: Uh, yeah. Well, if she doesn't, you can always give her one of the other 15 toys that you got her.

Sami: All right. I just can't wait to have her back. Can't wait to have her in my arms.

Johnny: Are you two going to kiss?

Sami: So what if we are?

Rafe: Yeah.

Johnny: Gross!

Rafe: Gross!

Sami: Oh... I'm gonna kiss you next.

Johnny: [Laughing]

Rafe: Get him, get him!

Sami: You get kisses. You get kisses from everybody 'cause we're a family. [Smooching] More kisses all the time.

Bo: As of this moment, hope Brady has no official capacity with the Salem P.D.

Sami: You listen to me, EJ, and you listen good.

Taylor: But I still love him.
