EJ: Hey. This is fun. This is a wonderful picnic.

Taylor: This is a mistake.

EJ: No. We are in the process of sorting things out with your sister. There's not a law that says we have to be abjectly unhappy until we do so.

Taylor: Okay. What do you know about mark-to-market accounting?

EJ: Does it have anything to do with champagne and picnics?

Taylor: Okay.

EJ: Maybe a little bit?

Taylor: Let me tell you something, just listen. It goes a little bit like this, okay? So if you can see something working out in the future, no matter if there are a million ways that it can get screwed up along the way, you go ahead and you post it as profit today. Right, and you go ahead and celebrate the outcome.

EJ: Okay.

Taylor: We can't have picnics. We can't have all these toasts, because it's absolutely delusional to think that this is ever gonna work out. Okay, maybe it could. Maybe, just maybe.

EJ: Maybe, maybe.

Taylor: Right, just maybe.

EJ: Possibly.

Taylor: And it's also very likely that Nicole would end up hating me so much that I never would be happy. No matter what you do.

Nicole: So just what secret were you trying to tell me, Mom? That EJ had Rafe locked in a basement or that he was slapping the make on my sister?

Chloe: Oh, my God, really?

Nicole: Afraid so. Saw it myself. Passionate clenches in the living room. So secret, so dangerous.

Chloe: Honey, I'm sorry.

Nicole: And so much damn fun. And that's so very Taylor. When she finally gets around to sibling rivalry, she goes for high stakes.

Chloe: What are you gonna do?

Nicole: What I always do. Fight back.

Carly: You know what? I changed my mind.

Melanie: About what?

Carly: I think it's better that Daniel doesn't find out that I lost track of last night. Would you not say anything to him?

Melanie: Yeah, of course. It's not really a big deal, you just weren't feeling good. You didn't check your messages.

Carly: I know, but if he finds out I wasn't feeling well he might get over-protective. You know how doctors can be.

Melanie: Yeah, I should. I have two of them for parents.

Carly: I feel really horrible that I haven't been there for you when you needed me.

Melanie: No. I've got dad, Brady.

Carly: Have I, uh...

Melanie: What?

Carly: Missed a lot? I'm worried, I know I've been distant and...

Melanie: No, no, no. I know how busy you are.

Carly: No, honey, it's more than that.

Maxine: Dr. Manning. Would you be an angel and give me two more minutes of your time? I need med orders signed for next rotation.

Carly: You okay with that?

Melanie: Yeah, no problem.

Carly: Okay.

Maxine: So did you get the memo for the meeting tomorrow?

Melanie: I did. It's weird though, usually when we have a mandatory meeting they tell us why.

Maxine: Well, keep this to yourself. But it's about missing drugs.

Daniel: That was, uh... unexpected.

Jennifer: Yeah.

Daniel: Yeah.

Jennifer: Maybe I shouldn't have.

Daniel: No, no, no. Expect the unexpected. Kind of my life. In a good way. Can be good.

Jennifer: Or bad?

Daniel: Or good. Yeah, kind of helps me solve a problem, or helps me make a decision.

Jennifer: Good, good, I'm glad to have been of help. What were you mulling over?

Daniel: Oh, just, you know. Whether or not I was gonna ask you on a date. Yeah. And, you know, now I get the feeling that, you know, after... that you'd probably say yeah, I guess.

Jennifer: Well, um, let me think about that.

Abby: Aunt Adrienne.

Adrienne: Oh, hi.

Abby: Let me see that ring.

Adrienne: There it is. It's simple.

Adrienne: Oh, simple but beautiful.

Adrienne: [Giggling] Thank you, I think so too. Um, is your mom around?

Abby: Uh, no. I'm not sure where she is. Something wrong?

Adrienne: No, mm-mm.

Abby: Liar.

Adrienne: Look, you're studying and you're getting ready for your finals. I don't wanna upset you.

Abby: Sit down. I'm not gonna be able to do any studying until you tell me. Wait a minute. It's about my dad, isn't it? It's why you were looking for my mom?

Hope: I think it's a three-way tie.

Rafe 2: Sorry?

Hope: You all equally hated having your pictures taken.

Rafe 2: Heh.

Hope: But I'm gonna keep the one of you with Ciara.

Abe: Well, I think you have to admit that we're a lot more sunny compared to Theo.

Hope: I'm gonna go see if I can help Lexie in the kitchen.

Bo: Yeah.

Abe: Rafe, I apologize for Theo being so difficult. It takes him a while to warm up to people.

Rafe 2: Aah, no worries. I'm a little bit like that myself. So, uh, whatever. Listen, so I gave McCarthy my statement. You got my pictures. I'm gonna get going.

Bo: Well, why don't you hang out for a bit? Have a beer.

Rafe 2: Yeah, I wish I could. But, um, I'm trying to make this campsite in Southern Indiana by nightfall.

Bo: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, there's actually one more thing.

[Knock on door]

Bo: Uh, why don't you go ahead and get that?

Rafe 2: Me?

Bo: Yeah, yeah. Make yourself at home. You're part of the family. Open the door.

Rafe 2: Heh.

EJ: You're talking about accounting. I'm talking about philosophy. You say mark-to-market, I'm saying, carpe diem.

Taylor: Carpe diem is not a philosophy. It is a rationalization.

EJ: Okay, okay, will you stop being so high and mighty for two minutes? For two minutes. You and I never intended to fall in love. You and I never intended to hurt Nicole. Believe me, as somebody who has hurt a few people in my time, I happen know what I'm talking about.

Taylor: That's so comforting.

EJ: Look.

Taylor: What?

EJ: If your noble intentions would in any way prevent your sister from being hit by a bus--

Taylor: Truck.

EJ: As you so eloquently put it. Then it would matter. But your sensitivity does not protect her. She's going to get hurt.

Taylor: But I don't wanna be the cause of her pain. That matters to me.

EJ: Okay, let me give you the bottom line. Let's say--let's say you're married to the man of your dreams. And you would die of a broken heart if you lost him. If he had something... if she wanted it, she'd take it. She wouldn't think about your feelings. She certainly wouldn't lose much sleep over it.

Taylor: You said that you love her. You're not painting a very loving picture of her.

EJ: Because I'm just like her. It would be hypocritical of me to judge her for being selfish. And she has many wonderful qualities. But you project your values onto her. You think she's gonna act just like you. She won't. Look, Nicole is not just gonna curl up in a ball and die. She's certainly gonna be hurt, and she'll be upset. But she'll come out of this stronger than ever.

Nicole: The amount of business we bring this place, you'd think we'd get some kind of discount.

Chloe: Or at least some frequent drinker miles.

Nicole: Yeah.

Chloe: I'm so sorry.

Nicole: We're two pretty sad ladies, aren't we?

Chloe: Yeah, well, if it means anything to you, I completely screwed up my life. Big time. Pretty much all on my own.

Nicole: I think you had a little help from Philip.

Chloe: And a big shove from Vivian. But at least I wasn't betrayed by my sister.

Nicole: You know what I love? Is reliving those moments of, "Taylor, don't go." "Taylor, you and EJ will work out your little differences." I even asked him to make her feel at home. He took that particular ball and ran with it.

Chloe: Are you gonna move out?

Nicole: And let her win? No. I'm gonna get revenge.

Rafe 2: Wow, I'm sorry, this is just a surprise. I didn't expect to see you. It's good though.

Sami: Well, my dad-- he, um, he called.

Bo: Hey, Roy. Uh, we got about three dozen cupcakes we need to consume in here. You wanna help us out?

Rafe 2: Well, I guess we don't need to stand here in the doorway, do we? So you've been talking to your dad?

Sami: Yeah. He told me what you did for Ciara and Theo. It's amazing. Congratulations.

Rafe 2: Aah, it's a stroke of luck. If Bo had been there a few minutes earlier he would have saved the kids.

Sami: You've always been humble about your accomplishments.

Rafe 2: Yeah, well, you know. I don't like to brag about 'em.

Sami: Well, anyway, um... it's not the only thing my dad told me.

Rafe 2: Hmm?

Abby: So how about you talk to me about my father?

Adrienne: I emailed Jack. I told him that Justin and I were getting married again. And I told him about how beautiful and smart you are. And how Jennifer had been through this terrifying experience and somehow made it through. He sent me a haiku. His feelings on sunsets.

Abby: What a jerk.

Adrienne: Jerk.

Jennifer: A date?

Daniel: Mm-hmm.

Jennifer: Well, um... well, okay. You know, there is a poetry slam at Salem U. Would you be interested in something like that?

Daniel: Oh. I've never been to one.

Jennifer: Or there's always a sports bar with huge TV's--the Cubs are playing the D-Backs.

Daniel: Yes.

Jennifer: Okay, likes baseball, not poetic. All right. You know? I think this could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

Daniel: Well, you know, just for the record, I don't just like baseball. I love baseball.

Jennifer: Daniel, I love baseball too.

Daniel: Well, I love poetry, too. I do! No, no, no, as a matter of fact, you know, I've committed a few of my favorites to memory.

Jennifer: Really?

Daniel: Oh, yeah, yeah. Yeah, you wanna hear one? You wanna hear one.

Jennifer: Sure.

Daniel: Okay. Uh, there once was a hermit... named Dave.

Jennifer: [Laughing]

Daniel: Stay with me. Stay with me.

Jennifer: Okay.

Melanie: I don't understand. Why would a meeting about missing meds be a secret?

Maxine: Well, someone's been helping themselves. We don't want them to know we're on to them.

Melanie: So you don't just think it's an inventory problem?

Maxine: Neither does security, otherwise we wouldn't be having that meeting. I'll see you there.

Melanie: Yikes, did you hear that? It must be serious if security's worried.

Carly: Uh, I wasn't listening.

Melanie: Oh, no, no, we have a mandatory nurses meeting tomorrow about missing medicine. Which is weird, because with all the procedures here, who would be dumb enough to steal them?

Carly: Are we ever gonna get outta here? I'm getting sick of this place.

Melanie: Yeah.

Rafe 2: So, uh, what else did your dad say?

Sami: He told me that you had requested a leave of absence.

Rafe 2: Oh.

Sami: 'Cause you wanted to leave Salem.

Rafe 2: Yeah. But then Theo and Ciara went missing, so I just thought sticking around, that seemed more important.

Sami: But you are planning to leave for good?

Rafe 2: No. Just for a little while. I mean, I got the idea from you going to your brother's. And, uh, I just thought, you know, I could clear my head and, you know, I've been having trouble. Then the whole thing happened with the kids. And fortunately I saved them. And so they wanted me to take pictures with the mayor. And so I stuck around, but... actually, I was just leaving.

Sami: Ahem, at my brother's...I missed you.

Rafe 2: Well, you missed P.A. Rafe.

Sami: P.A.?

Rafe 2: Pre-accident.

Sami: Okay, well, that's probably true.

Rafe 2: Yeah.

Sami: But I gotta believe that you're still in there somewhere. And--and you're still that guy. And I was thinking that if you are trying to take time for yourself, if you're trying to figure this out, maybe we are still on the same page, kind of. Right? And so maybe we can work through this together. At the same time, in the same place.

Rafe 2: What are you saying?

Sami: Look, maybe we should just go home, you know? Talk about this.

Rafe 2: Okay.

Abe: [Laughing]

Theo: No, Rafe! Go away! Now!

Daniel: Well, you know, just to be clear, the sports bar was your idea.

Jennifer: It was. It was my idea.

Daniel: Yeah, 'cause I could do the nice date. You know, the good bottle of wine, first date thing. No, I could. I could do that. I mean, I could put on a suit and a tie and--

Jennifer: No, it's okay. Because you know what? I liked the way that your eyes just lit up when I said "sports bar."

Daniel: Yeah, well, I liked the passion in your voice when you said "Cubs," you know?

Jennifer: Well, that's good. That's good, this has all the earmarks of a great first date.

Melanie: You're going on a date?

Chloe: Let's have another drink.

Nicole: I like the way you think. Oh, God.

Chloe: What?

Nicole: I just remembered. After Taylor got here she said she met this amazing man, and at the wedding she saw EJ and she stopped dead. You should have seen the look on her face. She was shocked. I knew something was wrong. So I asked her point blank if EJ was the guy, and she said "no." Oh, liar.

Chloe: None of this is your fault.

Nicole: I may have to be careful about revenge, but they are not shoving me out of my marriage, my family, and my life. I am not giving up without a fight.

Taylor: You really think that you and I can be together? And that Nicole can be with Brady and still have Sydney in her life, and we can all live happily ever after?

EJ: Yes, I do.

Taylor: And you don't think that you believe that because you want it to be true? I think you're pink clouding this whole situation.

EJ: Really?

Taylor: Mm-hmm.

EJ: Let me tell you something. The Duke and Duchess of Windsor were married for 36 years.

Taylor: Mm-hmm, and?

EJ: England was pretty upset when he abdicated the throne for her. But she got over it. Worked out quite well for everybody, in fact. Especially that, uh, Colin Firth chap.

Taylor: England is a country. Nicole is a woman.

EJ: Yes.

Taylor: And a woman who's been kicked around a lot in her life.

EJ: But like England, Nicole is very resilient.

Taylor: Yeah, but she's never been kicked around by me, and I'm not wanting to start now. EJ, I don't know if I can do this.

Lexie: Um... sweetheart, um, it's been a busy day, huh? Why don't we go home, have some quiet time. Maybe read a book, hmm? Good.

Sami: What's going on?

Abe: Um, I really am sorry.

Rafe 2: No, no, it's okay.

Abe: He gets over-stimulated.

Sami: Abe, it's absolutely not a big deal, of course. Maybe we should just go.

Abe: No, no, no, no. You just got here.

Lexie: Yeah. Oh, I left my purse in the kitchen. Why don't we just go out the back way?

Abe: Mm-hmm.

Rafe 2: This is really important, okay? I gotta know that he's not gonna talk.

Ciara: He won't, I promise.

Rafe 2: Buddy. We cool?

Theo: No!

Rafe 2: That's the wrong answer.

Rafe 2: Can I ask you a big favor?

Abe: Yeah, you know you can.

Rafe 2: Let me talk to Theo. Just, uh, clear things up.

Daniel: Could you say that a little louder? I'm not sure Mrs. Casey heard you down the hall.

Melanie: I could try. You want me to?

Daniel: Get back here.

Melanie: I hope it's not a secret--is this a secret?

Daniel: Well, maybe it's personal.

Melanie: Well, I think Jen's fine with it. By the way, I think it's great.

Daniel: Uh, you must be so relieved to have Melanie's seal of approval. We wouldn't wanna do anything without your okay, now, would we? Maybe you'd like to ask her if her intentions are honorable.

Melanie: Sure.

Daniel: Would you like a glass of wine, Carly?

Carly: No, I'm good. Thank you.

Melanie: You okay? I'll--I would. So I'll open up a bottle for us. Is that--

Daniel: There you go.

Melanie: Okay.

Daniel: All right. Well, the super installed some window guards--

Jennifer: Hey.

Carly: A date?

Jennifer: Oh, yeah. We're just going to a sports bar. We're gonna watch a baseball game.

Carly: It'll be fun.

Jennifer: Yeah. It just turns out we're both Cubs fans.

Carly: Yeah? Me too.

Jennifer: Oh, really?

Carly: Yeah, since, like, forever. Cabrera's my man.

Jennifer: Oh, he's amazing. He's great. You know, I just thought, um, with my divorce papers in the works, maybe it's a good time to just start to move on a little bit.

Carly: Absolutely. Jennifer, you are a wonderful, dynamic woman. And you should have someone to share your life with.

Jennifer: Thank you.

Carly: And Daniel's a great guy. I can totally see you two being good for each other.

Jennifer: Oh, I don't want to jump to conclusions. It's a first date. It's no big deal.

Carly: Well, I hope it turns into something more. 'Cause you're two of my favorite people and I don't want you to be lonely. What? What'd I say?

Jennifer: Oh, nothing. I just...

Carly: You just...

Jennifer: I, uh, I just wonder if you're really okay with all of this.

Rafe 2: Yo. Look, I'm really sorry if I scared you, man. I just wanted to make sure that you all got home safe, and maybe you thought that I was mad at you. Nah. No, I wasn't. Ciara, you remember. We had those cupcakes, right? Remember that? Ciara, right? Yeah. See?

Theo: I wanna go home.

Abe: Oh, well, you got it, buddy. That's one tired cowboy. We'll see you all later, huh?

Hope: Absolutely. Bye, Theo.

Lexie: Rafe, I am so sorry.

Rafe 2: Ah, it's okay.

Lexie: Really. I mean, we are so grateful to you. Thank you.

Rafe 2: Well...

Lexie: Okay, bye.

Bo: Bye-bye, see ya.

Rafe 2: Well, that went well. Look, I'm sorry about that. I thought I could get through to him.

Hope: Well, poor little guy. He's been through an awful lot.

Sami: As have all of you. So I think we're gonna give you some time. Um, Theo had a good idea. Let's go home.

Rafe 2: Yes. I'll see you later.

Hope: Good night.

Sami: Bye.

Bo: Bye.

Sami: Thanks, Uncle Bo.

Taylor: I mean it, EJ. I don't know if I can. I don't know if I can be with you. Look, even if Nicole does get over it, it... feels wrong.

EJ: Who says god doesn't have a sense of humor? Fall in love with a woman and she has a conscience.

Taylor: That's not funny.

EJ: You're right. It's not funny. Look. Let me make you this promise. I'm going to divorce Nicole. But when I do, I will be as kind and gentle as I possibly can be. And I'm gonna keep you out of it. Okay? You can just--you can wait, and you can see how she reacts. And then you can... you can decide what you want to happen between the two of us. I'm not going to jeopardize your relationship with your sister.

Chloe: Don't you remember what happens when you decide to fight the DiMeras? Remember prison? Remember flat broke? Remember not even being allowed to see Sydney? Do you know who you're dealing with? Do you really believe that Stefano's gonna risk letting you blow the whistle on them? I mean, come on. Compared to him, Victor's like Father Christmas.

Nicole: I'll be careful. And once I have proof of what they did, I will be the one calling the shots.

Carly: Why would you even say that? I mean, it has nothing to do with me, or anybody else for that matter. If you and Daniel want to see each other, then that's your decision.

Jennifer: Oh, yeah. No, I know that. I just thought maybe your reaction...

Carly: I'm happy for you. I think it's swell.

Jennifer: It just seemed like you were taken aback a little bit.

Carly: Jennifer, did you ever stop to think that maybe you just feel guilty? You still have this loyalty to Jack, so maybe you're just projecting your own ambivalence onto me?

Jennifer: No, you know what? That's not what I'm thinking at all. I care about you, and you're my friend, and you and Daniel have a daughter together. And I don't want to make you uncomfortable.

Carly: Who's fully grown up and doing fine.

Jennifer: Yes, but still. I just--

Carly: But still nothing. Listen to me. One, I'm not in the least bit uncomfortable with you seeing Daniel, okay? I'm totally fine with it, in fact. And two, my dear friend, you need to stop worrying about what other people think. It's your life. You don't have to go around getting everyone's approval for everything.

Melanie: Hey, sorry. The wine is not very cold, but...

Jennifer: Oh, thank you, honey. That's okay, I actually need to go. I'm gonna meet Abigail. So, Daniel, we'll be in touch? And I'll see the two of you at the hospital.

Daniel: I'll, uh... hold on, I'll get the door.

Jennifer: That's all right, I can get it.

Daniel: No, I can get it. It's fine, I can--

Jennifer: Thank you.

Daniel: You're welcome.

Jennifer: Thank you.

Daniel: You know, I just wanted to say, um, I'm looking forward to, uh... you know, the Cubs.

Jennifer: Yeah, me too. Uh, I think this could be their year.

Daniel: Yeah, no, I think that every year, so... well, I'll call you later.

Jennifer: Okay. Bye.

Daniel: Bye.

Sami: Sweetheart, just promise me that you'll be good for great grandma. And take good care of your sister, okay? I love you, too. Bye.

Rafe 2: So... it's just the two of us.

Sami: I thought we could use some time alone.

Rafe 2: Mm. Where do we start?

Chloe: Nicole, you said that Taylor was freaked out when she saw EJ at the wedding. You do know that that means she wasn't going after your husband. And you said that she was trying to leave Salem after that, right?

Nicole: Well, she didn't quite manage that, did she?

Chloe: I just think that you can't blame her.

Nicole: [Chuckling]

Chloe: Honey, come on. She and Brandon, that's the only family that you have now. And compared to some of the things that we've done, she's a saint. I think she was trying to do the right thing. You can't just go get another sister.

Nicole: She's gonna have to choose. Her sister... or her married boyfriend. So please, don't try to make me feel sorry for her. Because Taylor always ends up with everything and I get nothing. But not this time.

Chloe: Where are you going?

Nicole: It's time for me to put my house in order.

Taylor: I think this picnic should be over.

EJ: Taylor.

Taylor: What?

EJ: I need to ask something of you.

Taylor: Yes?

EJ: I need you to have faith in me. Faith that I can work this out. And I need to be able to prove to you that I'm not the man who did those things to Samantha, and to Nicole.

Taylor: Mm. I do have faith in you. And for some reason I believe that you've changed.

EJ: I'm glad.

Taylor: Yeah, but I'm not sure that I'm glad. I don't wanna be made a fool. See, this is the problem with love. It is too emotional, and you can't balance it like an accounting sheet.

EJ: Look, Taylor. More than anything else in the world, I want there to be a day when you're happy to love me. And I want that day to come soon.

Taylor: [Giggles] Ok, Allie's spelling bee is Monday...

Melanie: Well, you're in a good mood. What are you gonna wear on your date? Oh, wear that blue, uh, the blue sweater thing I got you with the thing in the back that has that kind of, like, little design.

Daniel: Okay, Melanie. You know, I'm your father. We're not gonna talk about my personal life like we're sorority sisters, okay? Just...don't do that. Carly, please, just sit down.

Carly: No, you know, I forgot I have a million errands I have to run.

Melanie: No, no, no, no. You said we were gonna hang out today.

Carly: I don't know what I was thinking, I'm so sorry. I'll see you guys later, okay?

[Slams door]

Melanie: That was weird.

Daniel: Yeah? Yeah, what's that?

Melanie: Her leaving like that.

Daniel: What, do you think something's wrong?

Melanie: Maybe she's just busy?

Carly: Damn it!

Bo: Hey, hey, hey. It is so good to have you home where you belong.

Hope: We were just trying to figure out, what would make the best welcome home dinner?

Ciara: Pasta!

Bo: Oh, pasta!

Hope: Ah! Pasta then, pasta it is. Oh, sweetie, daddy's right. It is so, so, so good to have you back.

Bo: Hey, little one. Um, Theo really doesn't like Rafe much, does he?

Ciara: He's mean.

Hope: Mean, really? I think he's kinda nice.

Ciara: He's nice when grown-ups are around. Not when there's just kids.

Abby: Dad... jerk doesn't quite cut it.

Jennifer: Well, what has your father done now?

Carly: Jennifer and Daniel, that's just what I needed.

Maxine: I should have known there was no way something like that could stay a secret around this place.

Nurse: You really think someone's stealing meds?

Maxine: Well, I hope there's another explanation. There's a surefire way of ending your career.

Lab Representative: Excuse me, uh, is Dr. Carver here?

Carly: Uh, no, she had a family emergency. Can I help you?

Lab Representative: Well, I'm with Creighton Labs, and I was going to leave her some samples of our different medications.

Carly: Why don't you leave them with me and I'll make sure she gets them.

EJ: I think you're right. I think it's time to go back. I think it's time I talked to Nicole.

Nicole: Look, I need those results and I need them now. I need proof that Rafe was in that basement. And when I get it... I will have EJ right where I want him. Well-being.

Hope: Well, as adamant as she was about not needing a nap, she's already asleep. It's kinda strange, isn't it? What she said about Rafe. Being nice to kids only when grown-ups are around.

Bo: Not surprising. He hasn't been himself since that accident.

Hope: Mm. I really feel for Sami.

Bo: Yeah, me too. She's really upset about this change in Rafe. Beating herself up because she feels she's not patient with him.

Hope: Yeah, well, I don't want to pursue it any further with Ciara. I just want to concentrate on making her feel secure about us.

Bo: Yeah. Do you think she understands now that none of what happened was her fault?

Hope: Oh, yeah, I think so. In fact, you know, she said to me, "mommy, things really are better. I can tell."

Bo: Well, they are.

Hope: Now that our little girl's back, we can finally concentrate on putting this family back together.

Bo: Yes, we can. I'm looking forward to that.

Hope: Me too.

Melanie: So you want Chinese or pizza?

Daniel: Oh, I don't care. So you're worried about Carly?

Melanie: I don't know.

Daniel: Did she tell you why we couldn't get in touch with her last night?

Melanie: She said she didn't feel good so she didn't check her phone messages.

Daniel: Yeah. She looked a little under the weather.

Abby: Don't look, okay? Just don't look.

Jennifer: I am sure that your father has once again decided to communicate his deepest, most personal feelings with millions of strangers.

Abby: I'm sorry.

Jennifer: It's okay. I'm sorry for you. You're stuck with him. I get to move on with my life.

Abby: I was just saying that to Aunt Adrienne. So there's this website... for ladies who are moving on to meet men who are moving on.

Jennifer: Well, you know what? I don't have to go on that. Because I have a date.

Abby: No.

Jennifer: Can you not seem so completely dumbfounded by the concept?

Abby: I'm not, I just... I didn't think even you could move that fast. Did you just meet this guy?

Jennifer: No, no. It's, um, it's Daniel.

Abby: Daniel Jonas? The doctor?

Jennifer: Yes.

Abby: Oh, my God!

Jennifer: What other Daniel do you know?

Abby: He's so hot.

Jennifer: He is very nice. And he's very smart. And he has a great sense of humor.

Abby: Hot. Stupid hot.

Jennifer: Can you not say that? I am your mother. That's embarrassing.

Abby: Okay, fine, fine. I just--I'm so happy for you. Are you excited?

Jennifer: You know what? I am trying not to be. It's a first date, that's all. That's all it is.

Abby: Yeah. Definitely, totally. But you also have to look amazing. And gorgeous. So what are you gonna wear?

Jennifer: [Sighs]

EJ: So maybe our next picnic can be a little bit more, um... festive?

Taylor: EJ, I'm scared.

EJ: I know. Listen, you promised that you would have faith in me. So just let me take care of everything, okay?

Nicole: Oh, so there you two are. What have you guys been up to?

Sami: Oh, this is so weird. Being awkward with your own husband.

Rafe 2: Well, you've been gone for a while.

Sami: The whole time I was gone, I was thinking about us.

Rafe 2: What about us?

Sami: Look, um... look, before we get into that. I just wanna, you know, settle in, get unpacked and, um... well, and then we'll talk, okay? So just give me a second, I'll be right back.

Rafe 2: Damn it. Ah, if it wasn't for those frickin' kids, I'd be on a beach somewhere. Drinking a margarita. Instead I gotta listen to her. That's all right. 'Cause I'm resourceful. I knew what to do with Fay... and I know what to do with you too, Sami.

On the next “Days of our Lives" --

EJ: There is never going to be a right time to tell Nicole.

Nicole: So the prisoner in the basement was Rafe Hernandez.

Dario: I won't say a word about the woman you slept with last night.
