[Doorbell rings]

Jennifer: Oh, come on in. It's open. I'm in here.

Chad: [Clears throat]

Jennifer: Oh, hi.

Chad: Hi. Um... you're Abigail's mom?

Jennifer: Yes, I am.

Chad: Um--uh, sorry. I just, um, I printed off some notes from Spanish class for her.

Jennifer: Oh, oh, okay. That's--that's very nice of you. She's actually upstairs. I can tell her that you're here. I-I didn't get your name.

Chad: It's Chad DiMera.

Dario: [Sighs] And why is she trouble? What's her deal?

Stephanie: Uh, well, long story short, she, um--she conned her way through half the men in Europe. She had her own website called Premier Party Girl.

Dario: Oh.

Stephanie: I know. Wholesome, right? Oh, and she managed to get me locked up in a Marseilles prison by telling horrible lies about me. And over the next couple of years, she proceeded to steal not one, but two of my fiancés.

Dario: [Scoffs] And she lectures me.

Melanie: Do I really have to hold that?

Daniel: You gotta hold them, yes.

Melanie: [Laughing] Wha--? The actual--

Daniel: Yes, you will.

Melanie: [Giggling] No.

Dario: Now she's scamming that old guy, the doctor.

Daniel: This is a different kind of--

Melanie: [Cracking up]

Rafe 2: Do you get it?

Sami: Yeah, yeah. That you're you.

Rafe 2: Exactly. I'm me.

Sami: Of course you are.

Rafe 2: And I'm not me. And don't panic. I mean, it's, um, it's really easy if-- you just need to listen.

Sami: I'm totally listening.

Rafe 2: You're not listening.

Sami: I'm listening to everything you say, Rafe.

Rafe 2: Don't call me that.

Taylor: Look, EJ, this is crazy.

EJ: You think that I don't know it?

Taylor: God, you're married to my sister.

EJ: Right, and the only thing I can think about is you. And I've tried to control it, and I've tried to ignore it, but nothing seems to change the way that I feel.

Taylor: And why are you telling me this? What am I supposed to do with it?

EJ: Because you asked me to be honest with you.

Taylor: Yeah, well, maybe that was my 10th mistake.

EJ: Well, maybe it was. And maybe it wasn't. Come here.

Taylor: Oh, God.

EJ: [Sighs]

Daniel: All right, all right. I'm gonna let you buy me coffee, but you're gonna let me buy you dinner, yes?

Melanie: Okay, that's fine.

Daniel: Okay?

Melanie: Okay.

Daniel: All right, get over here.

Melanie: Oh. Thank you. I'll see you soon.

Daniel: You will. Mwah! Good-bye. Can I help you?

Dario: Uh, yeah, yeah. Uh, you look like the guy who knows the local talent.

Taylor: Let go of me. I said let go.

EJ: You can't control how you feel. Look, even if you can't be honest with your words, I can see this. I can feel it.

Taylor: I don't know what you want from me, EJ.

EJ: I want you to admit the truth.

Taylor: Oh, for God's sakes, why? You're married to my sister! What else is there to say? [Sighs] God.

EJ: [Screams]

Taylor: Is this how it's gonna be in this house, EJ? Every day? This is what I get for agreeing to live here.

EJ: You asked me to be honest with you. You asked me for the truth.

Taylor: And this truth is crazy, EJ. We can't be together. When are you gonna let that go?

Abigail: This is totally great. Thanks.

Chad: Ah, yeah, no worries. Uh, listen, I need to, um, make a phone call, but I don't have any bars on my phone, so--

Jennifer: Oh, you can try the kitchen.

Abigail: Uh, yeah, best reception in the house.

Chad: Oh, why, thank you.

Jennifer: It's the to the left, through those doors.

Chad: Oh, okay.

Jennifer: How long have you known him?

Abigail: Uh, not long. We have two classes together. You know... I thought he was a tool at first. But, uh, turns out he's not. So it's all good. What's with all that stuff?

Jennifer: Just, uh, for my office at the hospital. I start my new job tomorrow, so I'm trying to be very organized.

Abigail: You're stressing about it?

Jennifer: No. I'm not. I'm actually very excited to go back to work.

Abigail: Then it's Dad. The-- the packing and unpacking the same pencils and sticky notes. Did he call?

Jennifer: No, no, he hasn't called.

Abigail: So you tell him you want a divorce, and he doesn't even text or anything.

Jennifer: You know what, honey, he is really far away.

Abigail: You've--you took off your ring.

Jennifer: Yes, I did. Because I am moving forward with my life. And I know that this is really hard for you.

Abigail: It is, but you know I think this is the right thing to do. But you're totally not okay with it.

Jennifer: No, I am really okay with it. I have peace with my decision. I wouldn't have gone to lawyers, I wouldn't have gone through all of this if I was wavering at all.

Abigail: Then what is it? What's wrong with you, Mom?

Jennifer: It's you. It's you.

Abigail: Me?

Jennifer: Do you have any idea what you are getting into being a friend with a DiMera?

Daniel: So what do you mean by "Local Talent"?

Dario: Well, that nurse that was all over you, you know she has a party rep from here to the South of France.

Daniel: Actually, no. No, I don't.

Dario: Look, um, don't take this the wrong way, but... she has a thing for older guys. They're the easiest marks.

Daniel: Really? Marks?

Dario: Well, she's a player.

Daniel: Really?

Dario: Yeah.

Daniel: What does that mean, exactly?

Dario: Well, that means she runs scams. She pulls guys in, takes what she wants from them, and then just takes off. Hell, she took two guys from this one girl. Fiancés. Two of 'em. Look, I'm sorry to be the one to tell you this. I saw you guys together, and you seemed into her.

Daniel: So what else have you, uh, have you heard?

Dario: A lot. Well, she's nothing but trouble. Two-faced besides. And you know, I'm just telling you from one guy to another, you know?

Daniel: Right.

Dario: And this--this nursing thing? It's just a way to get old, rich doctors.

Daniel: Hmm.

Dario: And you're not the only one.

Daniel: Yeah?

Dario: It's--it's kinda sick, if you think about it.

Daniel: Yeah, it is, isn't it? [Screams] She's my daughter, you son of a bitch.

Sami: You don't want me to call you Rafe?

Rafe 2: Just call me baby. Is that so hard?

Sami: No. No. Why do you want me to call you baby?

Rafe 2: 'Cause it's romantic. It's romantic, and I... I want that for us. Keeps us, uh, closer. Which is good. I want that.

Sami: I want that, too. Look, I know this is frustrating for you that you can't remember things since your accident.

Rafe 2: That's not the whole story.

Sami: What?

Rafe 2: Forget it.

Sami: Rafe, stop it, okay?

Rafe 2: Drop it, baby.

Sami: No! No, I want you to tell me what you're thinking. Stop saying only half of it. If you have something to tell me, then tell me.

Rafe 2: Okay. You want me to tell you?

Sami: Yes.

Rafe 2: Okay. I'll tell you.

[Footsteps approaching]

Stefano: Elvis. What's going on?

EJ: What are you doing here?

Stefano: I was told that you were acting like a caged animal on the pier. I mean, is it Samantha? Did she find out the truth?

EJ: No, of course it's not.

Stefano: Well, then, uh... is there a problem with Rafael?

EJ: No, look, Father, everything is exactly as we left it. Rafael is exactly where we left him, and Samantha still has no idea the man she's living with is not really her husband. All right?

Stefano: No, it's not all right. What has gotten into you, Elvis?

EJ: Can I have no secrets from you anymore?

Stefano: From me? No.

EJ: Don't make me do this.

Stefano: It's too late for that. [Sighs] What's happened, son?

EJ: [Laughs softly] I'm in love with Taylor. I

Abigail: So that's why you're acting so weird.

Jennifer: Honey. He is a DiMera.

Abigail: Okay. First of all, Chad is not like EJ. He's--he's much more like Lexie, actually.

Jennifer: He's Stefano's son?

Abigail: Mm. Did I leave that part out?

Jennifer: Oh, my gosh, I can't believe this. I thought he was some long-lost cousin that--that no one even remembers or heard about. This is unbelievable.

Abigail: Okay, he's not like them. Mom, I swear it. And--and he seems to get that his long-lost father is bad news.

Jennifer: Sweetie, listen to me. I know that I cannot tell you how to live your life, and I can't tell you who your friends should be, or who your boyfriend should be.

Abigail: He's not my boyfriend.

Jennifer: Okay, but I'm your mother, and I need to make you realize that if you get involved with someone like him, you're not gonna be able to get away from it when you figure out what a mess it is.

Abigail: Do I have to say this again?

Jennifer: I know, he is not your boyfriend. But, Abigail, things happen.

Abigail: Like things happened with you and Dad?

Jennifer: Yes, yeah.

Abigail: You don't--you don't think the whole thing with Dad was a mistake, do you?

Jennifer: No, I don't. Not the whole thing.

Abigail: Well, that's a relief.

Jennifer: Sweetie, I am worried about you. Is that okay?

Abigail: Yes. But this doesn't have to be a worry.

Jennifer: Okay, I hear what you're saying. But I'm worried. I just am. I'm very worried.

Daniel: Come on.

Dario: Ugh, your her father, seriously?

Daniel: Yeah, yeah.

Melanie: What are you doing here?

Daniel: Melanie, who is this idiot? Who?

Dario: You don't believe in that "first do no harm" thing, huh, do you, doc?

Daniel: No, I don't! Melanie, who is the idiot?

Melanie: A-Ari's brother.

Daniel: I'm sorry, the one who tried to rip you off? You son of a bitch!

Pete: Dr. Jonas, don't make this worse than it already is.

Daniel: You do not understand, Pete. You have no idea.

Pete: You're right, I don't. But I don't want you arrested for assault.

Dario: I'm not gonna have him arrested. I'm not one for revenge.

Guard: Then why don't you get outta here?

Dario: Yeah, I'm going.

Melanie: What just happened? Whoa, hey.

Daniel: I do not want to talk about it.

Melanie: Okay, will you at least tell me what he said to get you so mad?

Stefano: You are in love... with your sister-in-law?

EJ: Yeah.

Stefano: [Laughs] But Elvis, you have been married less than a fortnight... to Nicole.

EJ: Thank you, Father. I'm well aware of that.

Stefano: This woman is the one you met at the wedding?

EJ: Yes. No. I mean... yes, but I-I'd met her before.

Stefano: What?

EJ: It was a few days before the wedding. It was... here, actually. And I just... was walking through the pier, and I met this-- I mean, I say I met this, which sounds ridiculous, right? I mean, we barely spoke to one another. I ignored her. I'm walking from here. She's walking from there. We come--we come--we brush past each other. And I ignore her. I keep on walking. And then I j--I just stop. It--it felt like... something was--was tugging at me. Like some kind of invisible rope was just... twisting me around and pulling me. And the next thing I know, I'm standing right in front of this woman. And--and I'm looking right into her eyes, Father. And this... wonderful feeling of warmth just envelops me. And--and then something--she-- she drops a phone. And we--we kneel down to pick it up, and... somehow our... our fingers just kind of find each other. You know? I really don't know how to describe it, except-- [Sighs shakily] Except to say that, in that brief instant... every moment of my life up to that point just fell away. And I-I'm looking into her eyes, and she's looking into mine. And I just felt this in-- incredible fear. It just fell over me. And I don't know why. I don't know what I'm afraid of. I don't--you know, so I d-- I'm kneeling there, and I'm looking into her eyes. And then, suddenly, I-I see her shift slightly. Father, at--at the--the mere suggestion that this woman's gonna leave, I understood what I was afraid of. Not that--not that I might look into her eyes, or that I might like, or that I might love her. Father, I was terrified I might lose this woman.

Stefano: [Sighs]

EJ: And--and then we... rose together, and she stood where you are, and I stood here. And--and I looked at her, and I just knew that everything I needed in my life was standing in front of me. A-and then she was gone. But--but I-I knew--I just--I knew I was going to see her again. I just--I never expected that she was going to be the maid of honor at my wedding.

Stefano: No. Yes, well, I saw that happen between the two of you, yeah.

EJ: I'm sure you did.

Stefano: Huh. You, uh... you had a moment.

EJ: No, no, no, Fa--moments pass, Father. It's not a moment.

Stefano: But this is lingering, huh?

EJ: [Sighs heavily] Yeah, you could say that.

Stefano: Hmm.

Rafe 2: Second thought, why don't I take you to the bedroom, and I can show you?

Sami: No, okay?

Rafe 2: Yeah.

Sami: This feels off.

Rafe 2: Well, let's turn it to on, then, huh?

Sami: Rafe, stop it, okay? I don't--I don't want to, okay?

Rafe 2: You like playing hard to get, don't you?

Sami: Rafe. Rafe, what is wrong with you?

Rafe 2: I'm going through a hard time right now. You know that.

Sami: Yes, I know that. But this isn't about your accident. This is about you not being you. God, I-I can't stand it!

Rafe 2: You know what? I can't stand it, either! So how's that? I'm not gonna take any more of this.

Chad: Ladies, thank you so much for letting me do that.

Jennifer: Great, great. I'm glad you could make your call. I'll, uh, see you later, honey. Love you.

Abigail: Bye, Mom.

Jennifer: Bye.

Chad: Hey, you know, I could actually, you know, help you with that to your car if you--

Jennifer: That's okay. That's all right, I got it. It was, um... it was nice to meet you.

Chad: Same here. You guys are close.

Abigail: Yeah. I-I guess we are. I, uh, I almost lost her, so...

Chad: Uh, no, I-I-I totally get it, yeah.

Abigail: Do you?

Chad: I should, um-- we should probably, uh... um, you know, just maybe go over my notes a little bit. I mean, they're kind of all over the place. Uh, you know, maybe I should go over them with you. Um, I don't--don't spell-check in a class that, you know, is probably in Spanish, you know, maybe even Swahili. Uh--

Abigail: Well, then you, uh, you better stay and translate.

Stephanie: Oh, hi.

Dario: Hi.

Stephanie: Uh, you know you have a big mark on your face, right there?

Dario: I walked into a door.

Stephanie: Right, ouch.

Dario: Listen, that stuff that you said about Melanie Kiriakis.

Stephanie: Yeah, what about it?

Dario: It was all true?

Stephanie: Of course. That's not even the half of it.

Dario: Well, I kind of wish that you would have told me that her father's a doctor at the hospital.

Stephanie: Is Daniel the door you walked into?

Dario: It's just something that I would have liked to have known.

Stephanie: Well, now that we're talking about it, her mom's a doctor there, too.

Dario: So they're both doctors?

Stephanie: Yep.

Dario: So she's loaded.

Stephanie: Yeah, she's loaded, but, uh, her parents really aren't the reason why.

Melanie: Could've really made him mad, punching him like that.

Daniel: I really don't care. If he says another word about you--

Melanie: Okay, can you, um, can you just tell me what he said?

Daniel: Well, he knows an awful lot about what you were involved in when you were in Europe.

Melanie: Are you kidding?

Daniel: Uh, no. Knows a lot more than I do.

Melanie: Oh, this is so humiliating.

Daniel: Yeah, well, it was a long time ago. Don't worry about it.

Melanie: Yeah, it wasn't, um, it wasn't really that long ago.

Daniel: Well, in terms of where you are now and who you are now, lifetime ago. And who doesn't have mistakes in their past?

Melanie: Yeah, it's just a little more complicated than that.

Daniel: Yeah, well, you are my perfect angel.

Melanie: I'm--I'm so not.

Daniel: Well, to me you are.

Rafe 2: Start thinking straight. Oh, I don't know what's-- I don't know what the hell's gotten into me.

Sami: I do. You don't know if you're coming or going. And, um, it's because of these.

Rafe 2: What's these?

Sami: It's the anti-anxiety medication that Dr. Manning prescribed you. It's supposed to help, but, um, you've been acting worse than before I gave it to you, which I didn't think was possible.

Rafe 2: Back up. You drugged me?

Sami: Seemed like a good idea at the-- you were just so resistant to the idea of taking--

Rafe 2: So you drugged me?

Sami: It was a terrible mistake.

Rafe 2: Mistake?

Sami: I'm sorry.

Rafe 2: What the hell are you doing? Who does this?

Stefano: This is going to ruin everything.

EJ: Well, thank you for pointing that out.

Stefano: Well... come on, you know, I mean, uh, that's the reason why we have to get these feelings under control sooner than later.

EJ: Okay, Father, what do you suggest I do? Huh?

Stefano: [Sighs] Look. I'll admit, you know, I've had quite a few passionate encounters with women in my lifetime, all right? Hey. And some of them even have been obsessions. All right? But I have found, in my experience, there is only one way to deal with this.

EJ: What's that?

Stefano: Toglierti uno sfizio.

EJ: I'm sorry, I don't-- what does that mean?

Stefano: [Sighs] Loosely translated, it means... [Clears throat] If you have an itch... scratch it.

Abigail: If you, uh, if you need these back, I can drop them off by your dorm tomorrow.

Chad: Nah, keep them. I can always print off another set from my computer.

Abigail: Okay.

Chad: Besides, I, uh, probably won't be there tomorrow, anyway.

Abigail: What do you mean?

Chad: Well, I, um, just decided this. Um, I haven't even told anyone yet. But, uh, I'm gonna take my father up on his offer and move in with him at the mansion.

Daniel: Hey.

Jennifer: Oh, hey.

Daniel: Here, let me, uh, let me get that for you.

Jennifer: Oh. Carry my things and save my life, too. Super.

Daniel: Man. Right here.

Jennifer: Hey, are you okay?

Daniel: Oh, yeah, no, someone's face hit my fist.

Jennifer: What?

Daniel: Yeah, some idiot was insulting my daughter, so I just took him out the old-fashioned way and--

Jennifer: Are you out of your mind?

Dario: Melanie's husband is that rich?

Stephanie: Almost ex-husband. And yes, he's that rich. So the whole two-doctor-parent thing is pretty much a moot point for Melanie Kiriakis. Her payday is coming, trust me. Okay, this town is, like, way too small. I-I think I have something else to do somewhere. Anywhere.

Melanie: Stephanie's the one who told you all those things about me that you decided to share with my father?

Dario: Can you blame her, after what you did to her? It's all true, too, isn't it?

Melanie: Why do you care?

Dario: What do you mean, why do I care? You were all up on me with your judgments because I wanted to get some money together to find out what happened to my sister. When you were out flying around Europe, scamming one Duke or doctor after another.

Melanie: Is that what thieves call stealing these days? "Getting money together"?

Dario: You'd know, Mrs. Kiriakis.

Melanie: What did you just say?

Dario: That rich guy that you bagged. He figured you out. How could you blow it so bad?

Melanie: Okay, look. I may not be able to keep you away from my past, because anybody with a computer could find that out. But stay away from my personal life, and stay away from my father.

Dario: Yeah, that was just bad luck. But the way that you were hanging on him, I had no way of knowing--

Melanie: Agh, you're a pig!

Dario: Whatever. I guess I can't blame you. I mean, after all, he did raise you. And clearly not so well. [Chuckles]

Melanie: I officially hate you.

Dario: I officially don't care.

Rafe 2: Who does this to her husband?

Sami: You've just been so upset and frustrated about your memory loss. And--and Dr. Manning suggested this medication. You automatically said no, and I thought it was the wrong choice.

Rafe 2: So you decided to sneak pills into my coffee.

Sami: Well, if you hadn't been sneaking alcohol into your coffee, you wouldn't have had this reaction.

Rafe 2: Doesn't end, does it? It's the same as it ever was. The lying, the sneaking behind my back. If we don't have trust--

Sami: Rafe--

Rafe 2: We have nothing.

Sami: I'm sorry.

Rafe 2: I need time to think. Alone.

Sami: Of course.

Rafe 2: [Scoffs] [Sighs] This is too close. [Breathes deeply] It's just too close. All right. [Huffs]

Taylor: [Sighs] Um, Nicole? Can you come in here for a minute?

EJ: Can I help you?

Taylor: Uh...

EJ: Let's see.

Stefano: All right, all right. I want you to pay attention to me now. Okay? Very seriously here. Samantha's world... is crumbling around her. Yours is strengthening. So what you have to do is that you have to show everybody that you are a happily married man and that, uh, your children, uh, just love being with their new mother. Huh?

EJ: What about Taylor?

Stefano: Give in to her.

EJ: I-I'm sorry, you just--

Stefano: Yes, I know, I just said you have to make everybody think that you are happily married and everything is calm. In the meantime, you go on with what is really happening.

EJ: Scratch the itch.

Stefano: But make sure nobody finds out. You understand?

EJ: Yeah. Yes, I think I do.

Chad: W-why do you look like I just told you I robbed a bank? Huh?

Abigail: Please tell me you're not serious about moving into Stefano's mansion.

Chad: I can't do that.

Abigail: This is such a mistake. Chad, the guy's bad news.

Chad: Why are you so sure?

Abigail: Do you want a list?

Chad: I--wow. I can't even believe you right now.

Abigail: The feeling is mutual.

Chad: Uh, you do remember you are the one who told me I should talk to him, right?

Abigail: To see if you could figure out what it would cost you to get involved with him. And--and from what I'm hearing right now, you obviously didn't hear what he could do to you.

Daniel: Why are you mad at me for something that has absolutely nothing to do with you?

Jennifer: It has everything to do with me.

Daniel: I punched some punk out for insulting my daughter. How does that affect you?

Jennifer: Are you scheduled in the O.R. today?

Daniel: Uh, no, as a matter of fact, I'm scheduled tomorrow.

Jennifer: Really? That's a good thing.

Daniel: Yeah. What, you don't think I can do surgery?

Jennifer: Can you?

Daniel: It's a little swollen, that's all.

Jennifer: What if you broke your hand?

Daniel: Didn't, look at that.

Jennifer: Let me ask you something. If this happened before you were to operate on me and save my life, could you have done it?

Daniel: [Scoffs] My God, this is crazy. This is crazy.

Jennifer: Is it crazy?

Daniel: Yeah.

Jennifer: Because what you do for a living is save people's lives with your hands.

Daniel: All right, I got angry. I get angry.

Jennifer: You have to be a little bit more careful. People are trusting you with their life. I did.

Daniel: Okay, okay, point taken.

Jennifer: It shouldn't have to be given. You should know better.

Daniel: Are you gonna be mad at me forever?

Jennifer: No, not forever. But I'm gonna be mad at you for a few more minutes.

Daniel: Oh, good, well, that's a few minutes of your caring about my ability to do my job, and I appreciate that.

Jennifer: I wouldn't be standing here right now if it weren't for you. So how is your hand?

Daniel: Fine. You know, it's absolutely fine. It's not swollen, not broken.

Jennifer: I should probably check it 'cause if you have it taped too tight--

Daniel: No, it's fi--aiiiiee. Melanie...did a good job... wrapping it. Thank you.

Jennifer: You took off your wedding ring.

Daniel: Uh, yeah, I did. I mean, it's a good thing I did, 'cause I would've sliced the guy's face open with it.

Jennifer: How's that feel?

Daniel: Well, it kinda hurt--

Jennifer: Not your hand. How does--how does your finger feel without your ring on it?

Daniel: Weird. Yeah, I sent Chloe the papers, and it just doesn't make any sense to wear it now. It's weird.

Jennifer: Yeah, I know. I, uh, I had the same thought.

Daniel: Yeah, look at that.

Jennifer: Yeah. Look at that.

Daniel: Yeah.

Melanie: An operator, Dario. And using how upset you about your sister as some cover for being a good guy just doing the wrong thing for the right reasons-- after what you just pulled, it's pretty clear you're just a jackass.

Dario: Are you done?

Melanie: No. If you think I'm not gonna talk to Justin and your family and tell them what you did, you're wrong.

Dario: Knock yourself out.

Melanie: I am so sick of you. And if you stay in Salem, I'll keep my promise.

Dario: Would that be a first?

Melanie: I'll make your life a living hell. And you know what? You can take that to the bank before you rob it.

Dario: Don't underestimate me.

Taylor: "Nicole, Mom, don't worry about me. Just need a little thinking time. Spending the night at the hotel. Back soon." [Sighs] Good enough. [Sighs] I was just leaving.

EJ: I'd like it if you didn't.

Taylor: There's nothing left to say, EJ.

EJ: Well, I have a solution that I'd like to discuss with you.

Chad: So I guess we're done here.

Abigail: I'm sorry.

Chad: Yeah, me, too.

Abigail: Thanks for the class notes.

Chad: Welcome.

Abigail: You won't change your mind? About moving in with the DiMeras?

Chad: Mm. This is my father, Abigail.

Abigail: Okay. Good luck, Chad.

Chad: Ooh!

Jennifer: And I start tomorrow.

Daniel: Tomorrow?

Jennifer: Oh, hey!

Melanie: Hi, Dad. They said you'd be in here. Jennifer, I didn't know you were here.

Jennifer: Oh, that's okay.

Melanie: How are you?

Jennifer: I'm good, thank you, I'm good.

Melanie: Good.

Daniel: Good? What are you talking about? You know what? She's got a new job right here. It starts tomorrow.

Melanie: Oh, yea! Well, shoot, I would've brought you another one had I--had I known that you were in there, but I just thought it was just gonna be me and my dad.

Daniel: Honey, are you okay? You seem a little hyper.

Melanie: Uh, no, I've had, I mean, I've had a few, but I'm good 'cause I got something off my chest. It feels--I feel great.

Daniel: Great.

Dario: Yeah, well, that's great. I'm ready to do anything. I've always wanted to be a dock worker.

Boss: I need you there before dawn. You know what time dawn is, kid?

Dario: I won't be late. Thank you for the opportunity, sir.

Boss: All right, all right.

Dario: See you tomorrow. That's right. I'm a heavy-lifting-before-dawn kind of guy. Melanie's husband is that rich?

Stephanie: Almost ex-husband. And yes, he's that rich. So the whole two-doctor-parent thing is pretty much a moot point for Melanie Kiriakis. Her payday is coming, trust me.

Sami: [Sighs heavily] Rafe, I'm sorry. I don't understand how you can be so similar and so... different. Tried to help. But all I did was make things worse. As usual. So what happens now? Is there any way to make it right between us? Or is it just too late?

EJ: I don't--I don't know what I'm saying. Just come here. Let me sh--let me show you. Okay?
