Man: That's him. Right there. Same fella pawned off the earrings that you say got stolen along with a bunch of other stuff.
Gabi: I don't believe it.
Will: What? You don't believe what? Do you know this guy?
Melanie: Oh! Holy... great. This--that's, uh, perfect.
Dario: I'm really sorry. Are you all right?
Melanie: It happens.
Dario: My bad.
Melanie: It's okay.
Dario: It's not okay. Here, let me--let me get that.
Melanie: No, it... thanks.
Lexie: Okay, so let me know as soon as they come in. Thanks, Henry. Bye-bye. You too. Oh. Oh, Taylor, hi.
Taylor: Hey, Lexie. Um, came to give you these.
Lexie: Oh. That must mean you found an apartment, huh?
Taylor: Uh, not exactly.
Lexie: Oh? What's going on?
Nicole: Taylor is moving in with me and EJ.
Lexie: You can't be serious.
Stefano: Ah, Elvis, you're here. Very good, very good, very good. I have something... to show you.
EJ: What is this?
Stefano: That is Raphael's medical record.
EJ: Ah. "Subject has..." blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. "In conclusion, patient's memory has..." "patient's memory has been completely obliterated."
EJ: This report is 100% accurate?
Stefano: You cannot lie with a brain scan.
EJ: So Hernandez is... no more.
Stefano: He is a blank slate. Poor soul. He's a man with no past.
EJ: We have to get rid of him...now.
Brady: Surprise. How you doing?
Sami: I'm so happy you could come by.
Brady: Well, I was in the neighborhood. I had a Titan meeting, and I thought I'd make a social call.
Sami: Well, I think you do need some social time. I'm gonna go get the kids. They're so excited.
Brady: Hold on, hold on. I haven't heard from you in a long, long time, so is everything all right?
Sami: Yeah. Yeah, everything's...
Sami: Awful. It's awful. It's Rafe.
Brady: What's going on with Rafe?
Sami: I don't trust him alone with my kids.
Rafe 2: Nope. Don't miss that face. New mug is definitely an improvement on that one.
McCarthy: Who's that?
Gabi: I need that disk.
Man: No way. I let you see it. That's enough.
Gabi: My brother's a cop, and I need to show that to him.
Will: And the police commissioner's my uncle. So if you don't hand it over, I'm gonna report you for accepting stolen property.
Man: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
Gabi: I need that disk.
Will: So who is it? Who's the guy you recognize?
Gabi: Not here.
Dario: Well, I feel real bad about this.
Melanie: It's okay. Really, it's fine. Uh, it'll wash out. Probably. I hope. Um, I was gonna go home and change my jacket anyway.
Dario: Well, are you sure I can't at least, I don't know, like, take you home, or...
Melanie: No. No, no, no, it's fine. Thank you so much for your concern.
Dario: All right then. Then I'll just get out of your way.
Melanie: Yeah. Hold on one second.
Nicole: Why so surprised? What's wrong with Taylor moving in with us?
Lexie: I mean, you and EJ are newlyweds. I'd imagine you'd want some privacy.
Nicole: Privacy? W-with your dad and Kate and the kids and all the servants there, wasn't really private to begin with, now was it? [Cell phone rings] Oh, excuse me. See... oh, it's the wedding photographer. I ordered more pictures, so maybe they're ready.
Taylor: Yeah, just take it.
Nicole: Hey, Damien, what's going on?
Lexie: I'm worried about you. This whole situation is just ridicu--
Taylor: Nicole's gonna hear you.
Lexie: How is this a good idea for you to live under the same roof as EJ?
Taylor: Oh, come on, Lexie. You really think I'm just gonna jump into bed with the guy whenever my sister's not looking? Come on. You know me better than that.
Lexie: Okay, then you're just gonna stand by quietly while...
Taylor: Look, I don't like this idea any more than you do, but my mom had other plans. She wants us all to be together, Lexie, and because she's sick, she gets to make the rules.
Lexie: What's wrong with your mom?
Taylor: Uh, she has an enlarged heart. They--they say it's really serious.
Lexie: Oh, I'm sorry.
Taylor: Yeah, me too, but she's a fighter. And--and she's gonna get better soon, which is why the situation is just temporary, and I'm gonna be out of the DiMera mansion before you know it.
Lexie: Does EJ know about this temporary situation?
Taylor: Uh, Nicole had to get his okay on it. He was against it at first, and then he, um, kind of came around.
Lexie: Yeah, of course he did, because he has feelings for you as well. Look, you may be a saint, but my brother isn't. What if he decides to act on those feelings, Taylor? Are you going to have the willpower to resist him?
Stefano: So now you want to get rid of the man? If I remember correctly, it was you who insisted that we keep him alive.
EJ: Alive, yes. Here, no, Father. I want him out of this house.
Stefano: You know that sounds like it would be a wonderful idea if it wasn't so completely moronic!
EJ: Would you keep your voice down please?
Stefano: Listen, do you have any idea what would happen and how disastrous it would be for us to remove him from the cellar, huh? The man had a seizure during the test. If we put that damn fool through any more trauma, it could kill him. Oh.
Kate: Well, let me guess. You're scheming. Planning on getting back at someone, somewhere, some time, somehow? Am I getting warm?
[Cell phone rings]
Stefano: Oops. Sorry. Well, I have to take this. I will, uh--I'll be back. We'll finish our conversation.
EJ: Yeah. I'll be here.
Kate: My granddaughter.
EJ: Kate, how many times do you need to be told? The fewer questions you ask, the better.
Kate: Well, we both know that's not going to happen, don't we? Especially when it comes to flesh and blood. Why, exactly, did you implore me to get Allie out of town so quickly?
Rafe 2: Yes. Checking up on a perp. Big-time felon.
McCarthy: Oh. Petty larceny. Grand theft auto. Couple B and Es. More like a small change crook to me.
Rafe 2: Yeah, well, maybe on paper, but, uh... [Clears throat] No, I'm telling you, this guy, he's a criminal mastermind. This...
McCarthy: Hmm. Looks more like a sicko.
Rafe 2: Yeah, right. Like you can tell that from a mug shot.
McCarthy: Well, yeah. There's something psycho in his eyes, like he's not all there, like he could snap at any minute. You don't see that?
Rafe 2: No. I don't see that at all.
McCarthy: I do. You can just see him sneaking up on some poor, unsuspecting woman and... [Shivers] Gives me the creeps.
Brady: You won't leave your kids alone with Rafe?
Sami: I don't trust him with them. And obviously that makes me feel guilty. And like the old Sami, you know, that maybe I'm making something out of nothing, and I'm gonna ruin another great relationship.
Brady: Stop. You're beating yourself up again like you always do.
Sami: I'm just angry. And I'm disappointed. And then I look at him, and I'm like, "I married that guy. Because I love him. Because somewhere inside of him is that man I know and love, and..." I mean, he can't be gone forever, right?
Brady: Of course he's not gonna be gone forever. Stop it.
Sami: Sorry. I'm sorry. You came here to see the kids.
Brady: I'll--I'll get the kids. Take it easy. I'm gonna surprise 'em.
Sami: Okay. No, I can't keep stressing myself out like this. It's gonna be fine. Someday. Someday soon.
Guy: Really, I'll just let you go. I know you're in a hurry to get home and all, so...
Melanie: No, no, no. At least let me thank you properly for being so kind.
Guy: It's fine.
Melanie: Oh, please, it would mean so much to me. I mean, honestly, I've been going through a really hard time lately, and I... I don't mean to put all my stuff on you, but the fact that some stranger helped me, it's a welcomed change. You know, like those commercials where somebody helps somebody else for no reason at all.
Guy: I think I've seen them.
Melanie: Well, anyway, that was nice. You're nice.
Guy: I hardly think that spilling food all over your nice clothes is...is nice.
Melanie: Oh, you didn't mean to. You know, it's not like you meant to bump into me. I mean, who would do that besides some low-life street thug trying to take a necklace my mom just gave me to make me feel better? You're good, I guess, but I'm better.
Lexie: Taylor, you really need to seriously reconsider moving to the mansion.
Taylor: This isn't only about me, Lexie. My mother is sick. She needs me to be close by. She and Nicole have virtually insisted on it. Should I tell my mother that I don't care about her heart problem? Should I tell my sister that I'm not willing to help out?
Nicole: Hey, Tay.
Nicole: You ready to go home?
Kate: EJ, why did you want Allie gone? Did it have to do with Rafe? Come on. I know that she was upset with him. I know that she didn't want to be around him, and I'm assuming that's why Sami sent her halfway across the world at a moment's notice. Well, what is exactly was so upsetting to her? What is suddenly the problem with Rafe Hernandez?
Stefano: Katherine, come on, you know what happened. Raphael just has not been himself since the accident. And, Allie, well, she just feels uncomfortable around him. Children are very intuitive. You know that.
Kate: I still don't get it. You ship Allie off to Hong Kong? What about Gianni and Sydney?
EJ: Kate, I'm concerned about my children as well, if that's what you're suggesting. Look, if you must know, I was considering going for full custody of Johnny and Sydney. However, appears I over-reacted somewhat. Rafe is making some progress, though apparently he's never gonna be quite back to his usual self. And Samantha is doing a better job coping with it. You satisfied, or would you like to continue with your rather impertinent interrogation?
Kate: Gee, I have a doctor's appointment. I should be going.
Stefano: Well, that was quite a performance. Bravo.
EJ: This is over, all right? I've had enough.
Stefano: Enough of what?
EJ: Hernandez in my house. He's history. You hear me? I want him gone.
Brady: Listen, do me a favor, okay? Tell your sister when she wakes up that I said hello, okay? All right. Thanks, buddy. Appreciate it. Knuckle up. See you later?
Johnny: See you, Uncle Brady.
Brady: All right. I'll see ya. Hang in there. It's okay. Everything will be fine.
Sami: I believe you. I'm sure you're right.
Brady: Call me if you need anything, all right?
Sami: Yeah, I will. Thanks, Brady.
Brady: Johnny, see ya.
Johnny: See you, Uncle Brady.
Sami: Did you have fun with Uncle Brady? He's a great guy, huh?
Johnny: He's a cool.
Sami: Super cool. Brady's a good guy.
Sami: Yeah, sweetheart?
Johnny: Is Rafe a great guy?
Sami: Yeah. Yeah, he is a great guy. But you know what? Even great guys sometimes say things they shouldn't say. You know, like how Rafe told you it was okay to fight with that boy in your class. Look at me. Put Nigel down and look at me, okay? 'Cause it's important that you remember that you shouldn't hit. It's really important that you not hit no matter what Rafe said, okay?
Johnny: Then why did he give me boxing lessons?
Sami: I don't know the answer to that.
Johnny: He taught me how to punch hard like this.
Sami: Yeah, yeah, yeah, stop. Yeah. And you are good at everything you try to do, Johnny, but you can't hit people, and, um... you know what? I need you to help me do something. We need to get going, so why don't you pack up a couple toys and put 'em in your backpack, and we're gonna get out of here in, like, two minutes, okay?
Sami: [Sighs] I don't care how hard Rafe got knocked in the head, and even if it is my fault. I'm not gonna stand for this.
[Cell phone rings]
Rafe 2: Oh, Gabi. World's most annoying sister. Loser's called me, like, ten times today. As if.
Caroline: Rafe. What are you doing here?
Rafe 2: Keeping you in business.
Caroline: That's not what I mean. Sami just called. She said she was dropping off the kids because you were at work.
Rafe 2: Sami's coming here now?
Caroline: That's right.
Rafe 2: Ugh. Better get going then.
Caroline: Rafe, wait. What--why are you rushing out? You're not trying to avoid Sami, are you?
Rafe 2: No.
Gabi: I--I don't get it. I mean, why would he show up in Salem and then just steal my earrings?
Will: I don't know. I mean, it's crazy. But, uh, what we can do is talk to Rafe, right? I mean, I'm sure he's gonna be able to help us.
Gabi: Yeah, if he'd ever answer his phone. Come on, Rafe. Please pick up.
Melanie: So I hope you don't do this for a living, because you suck at it.
Dario: I didn't do anything.
Melanie: I've pulled off bigger scams in my sleep. What were you thinking?
Dario: I don't know what you're talking about.
Melanie: Spilling food on somebody? Where did you learn that? Grifting for idiots?
Dario: Look, I don't know how your necklace got in my pocket. It must have fallen in there when I was helping you clean up.
Melanie: Wow. You see what I did? I gave you a chance to come clean, thinking that, you know, any self-respecting scammer would give me my necklace after I told you what a hard time I'm having, and had you done that, I would have given you a free pass, but you know what you did.
Dario: Wh--I didn't do anything.
Melanie: Mm. You tried to take advantage of me. So now I'm gonna do this. Hi, I'd li...
Dario: Call the cops and I'll throw you in the river.
Melanie: Tough guy.
Dario: That's right. Not even your "been there done that" routine is gonna soften me up.
Chad: Lexie, hey.
Chad: Oh, um, you're probably way too busy to talk, right? Uh, being a chief of staff and all.
Lexie: Think I can make time for my brother.
Chad: Hmm. You sure? I mean, it's nothing important. I mean, I could always call you at home later...
Lexie: Chad, I have time.
Chad: Uh-huh. Uh-huh.
Lexie: Come. Sit down. So how you doing?
Chad: Uh, look, it's no big deal, really. I just--just doing a lot of thinking, uh, about your brother's wedding. Our brother's wedding.
Lexie: He was really happy to have you there. I mean, so was I.
Chad: Yeah, well, your husband didn't seem to thrilled.
Lexie: What are you talking about? No, Abe likes you, Chad. As a matter of fact, he was saying how impressed he was at the way that you interacted with the children.
Lexie: Yeah, I mean, it was really sweet of you to go back to the mansion to read to them. That was sweet.
Chad: Yeah, I mean, it was my pleasure. Your son, Theo, he's a great kid.
Lexie: Your nephew, you mean?
Chad: Yeah. Yeah, my, uh, my nephew.
Chad: Um, anyway, it's not that I thought your husband didn't like me. It's just what he said to me before, when we all went back to the house.
Lexie: Ah. Hmm. You mean when he said that it wasn't too late to get away from the DiMeras? That you should, uh, run for your life?
Chad: I think those were his exact words, actually. Hmm.
Lexie: Yeah, well, um... Abe has had some problems with my family. He's not objective.
Chad: Well, neither are you. I mean, you want to think they're okay because you love them, and so does your son. And you have a history with them.
Lexie: Okay. Okay, Chad. What are you getting at?
Chad: That it's different for me. I hardly know you guys, and you hardly know me, which means if I did run for my life, why would it matter? You know, why would anyone care?
Stefano: Elvis, put the damn phone away.
EJ: Absolutely not, Father. This cannot wait.
Stefano: What is the sudden urgency to get rid of Raphael, huh? Is there something that you are not telling me?
Stefano: Oh, my God. What is this?
Nicole: Wh--what does it look like?
Stefano: What is she doing here?
Nicole: Well, this is Taylor, and she's moving in. Didn't EJ tell you?
Stefano: Does it look like he told me?
Taylor: If it's a problem, I can leave.
Nicole: No, no, honey, it's not a problem. In fact, it's swell, right, EJ?
EJ: Taylor is welcome to stay for as long as she likes, Father.
Nicole: Thank you, honey. You are an awesome husband. Okay, um, Taylor, let's go upstairs, and I will help you settle in your room, okay?
Nicole: Let's go.
Stefano: Now I see what is going on. It is perfectly clear.
Rafe 2: That's ridiculous. Well, why would I want to be avoiding Sami? She's my life. She's my wife. She's... I want to spend every waking minute with her.
Caroline: Oh, well, then stick around. She's on her way over.
Rafe 2: I'd love to, but, see, here's the thing. Um...just on a short, little break, and your son Bo, he'd have my head if he knew that I was slacking off, so, uh, I got to get out of here. Keep the streets of Salem safe from the criminals. You know what I mean? I'll see you later, Caroline.
Rafe 2: Who's gonna keep 'em safe from me?
Melanie: You don't scare me.
Dario: Well, you should be scared.
Melanie: Okay, look, wrong girl, okay? I know your ty--I was your type. You don't want to hurt anybody.
Dario: I will if I have to.
Melanie: No, you won't. That's just an act.
Dario: Don't test me.
Melanie: Help! Police! Help! Stop it.
Brady: Hey! Hey, hey! Hey, punk. Hey. Hands off. Hands off.
Brady: Are you all right?
Melanie: I'm fine, but he's going down.
Nicole: Don't worry about old man Stefano. He doesn't like anyone he's not related to, especially if they're related to me.
Taylor: He doesn't want me around, Nicole.
Nicole: Who cares what he wants? We're gonna have insane amounts of fun together. We're gonna stay up late, do each other's nails, have movie marathons, inhale copious amounts of junk food... all the things sisters are supposed to do that we didn't get to.
Taylor: Yeah, no, that sounds great. Only, uh, I don't know if I'm gonna have time. You know, this new job, the hours at Titan are gonna be crazy long. Plus, you know, I'm gonna be taking care of Mom.
Nicole: Well, you better make time for me. We're gonna need each other. Especially if Mom gets worse.
Taylor: She's not going to, Nicole. Stop being so dire about it, okay?
Nicole: Okay. Fine. She's gonna get better, not worse. Anyway, it's just great that we're all together, because that's what she wants.
Taylor: I know, I just...
Nicole: You just what?
Taylor: I don't want to take your husband away from you.
Lexie: Okay, let me get this straight. You're asking me why would we care if you decided to disown us, if you chose not to be a DiMera?
Chad: I guess that's what I'm asking, yeah. Yeah. I mean, I feel like a fool insinuating myself in your lives when really I'm just a stranger.
Lexie: No, you're not. You're my brother.
Chad: Biologically. But otherwise we haven't shared a damn thing. I was raised by my mother and her husband. We haven't experienced any memories together. And the wedding, well, yeah, I love hanging out with the kids, but...I just felt like A...
Lexie: Like what?
Chad: An imposter.
Lexie: Oh, Chad.
Chad: Like--like some desperate idiot just looking for an escape from all this loneliness and this grief, and...
Lexie: Okay, okay, stop it. Look at me. You've just suffered a terrible loss, okay? Two losses. Your mother dying, and the man who raised you, who you thought was your father wanting nothing to do with you. I can't imagine, Chad. But no more feeling like an imposter, okay? Because Father and I and EJ, your niece, your nephews, we see you as a wonderful, kind, loving person. And we are so proud to have you in our family.
Chad: Thank you. I'll, uh... [Sniffs] I'll let you get back to work, all right?
Lexie: Um, w--um... I'm really glad you came to see me.
Chad: Yeah, um, me too. It's great.
Lexie: Um, can--can your sister get a hug?
Chad: Of--of course. Get over here.
Lexie: Okay. Mm. Bye.
Chad: See you later.
EJ: What is becoming clear to you, Father?
Stefano: That my son has lost his mind, allowing Nicole to bring in her sister and her mother, while we have Raphael Hernandez stashed away in the cellar.
EJ: How could the second line be busy?
Stefano: Ugh, okay, just out of the question.
EJ: No, I will tell you what is out of the question. That is Hernandez staying in this house, regardless of which guests happen to be here. We don't have a use for him anymore, so what's the point?
Stefano: You have it all backwards, my dear. Taylor Walker is the one that is the one that is useless to us.
EJ: Her mother's sick, okay? She needs somewhere to stay. She wants her kids to be with her.
Stefano: Oh, that's fine. So she has a little tummy ache and she's not feeling too well? What the hell are we doing here? Running a hospital?
EJ: Father... I made a promise to Nicole that her sister and her mother could stay here. I will not renege on that promise. Besides which, if I do so, it's only going to raise suspicion.
Stefano: Is that really it? Or do you have your own reasons to want to keep Taylor here and Raphael out?
EJ: I'm not even gonna dignify that question with an answer.
Stefano: [Laughs] I bet you're not.
Sami: Okay. So, Johnny, you are in charge of your sister, and I want you both to have fun coloring and be good for Great Grandma Caroline, okay? I will be back as soon as I can. I love you very much. Oh, hey, Grandma.
Caroline: Hey, Sami.
Sami: Thank you so much for watching the kids for me. I really appreciate it.
Caroline: Oh, it's my pleasure. You know that. No thanks needed.
Sami: Well, thank you so much.
Caroline: Oh, you're welcome, sweetheart. Uh, honey, uh, you just missed Rafe.
Sami: He was here?
Caroline: Yeah, he--he was, and, uh, he said he was on a work break. And... when I told him that you were coming over, he just sort of raced out of here.
Sami: What do you mean? He... he left because he didn't want to see me? Is that what you're saying?
Caroline: Oh, honey, I don't mean to upset you, but then I don't want to keep it from you either. I'm sorry.
Sami: Oh, no, don't be sorry. I'm glad you told me. I mean... you know, um, he was probably just in a hurry to get back to work.
Caroline: Yeah. It was the accident, dear. That's what.
Sami: Yeah, I mean, the bottom line is that he used to call me. And at least let me know that he's sorry he missed me, and...
Caroline: Well, then that is the accident, yeah. That's it.
Sami: Yeah, I know, I know, and you've told me that and Aunt Kayla's told me that. Everyone tells me that over and over again. I don't care anymore why he's acting this way. I can't stand it, Grandma. I can't stand him.
Melanie: Just make sure they know I'm pressing full charges. I don't know who you think you are, but you're not gonna get away with it.
Guy: I didn't do anything to you, okay? Crazy lady.
Melanie: You want to see crazy?
Brady: Melanie! Melanie! Hey! Stop it!
Caroline: Sami. You're not actually thinking of leaving Rafe, are you?
Sami: No. No, Grandma. I shouldn't have said that I can't stand him. It's just... it's just so frustrating. He's doing things that I... that I can't live with. And we're just gonna have to figure out a way to work through it.
Sami: I love him. And I will always love him. But, um... I just need to see a glimmer of the man that I fell in love with in the man he is now. If I had some hint of that, I know I could make it through anything. So I'm not gonna just sit around and do nothing. I'm going to figure this out. And do it right now. I love you.
Caroline: Sweet heart.
Sami: I'll see you soon, okay? I'll hurry back. I'll see you guys, okay? Have fun coloring, and be good for your great grandma. I love you. Mwah.
Johnny: Love you, Mommy.
EJ: Why is that any of your business, Lexie?
Lexie: I've been thinking about Johnny and Sydney. I mean, they've had enough to deal with in their young lives. The last thing they need is another disruption.
EJ: I care about my children, Lexie, thank you. And, frankly, I rather resent the assertion that I'm being in any way cavalier about their well-being.
Lexie: EJ, you're asking for trouble, okay? You don't need this right now, nor do your children.
EJ: Lexie, let me just say this one last time. Okay? Taylor and Faye are moving in here, because Faye is sick, and this is the best possible situation for her. Her health, her well-being, that is my only concern.
Lexie: EJ, come on. I mean, you could easily rent them an apartment or a house. Hell, buy them an apartment or a house.
EJ: I'm sorry, Lexie. I don't have time for this. Take care.
Lexie: Kate, hi. What are you doing here?
Kate: My usual check-up.
Lexie: Oh. Oh, yeah. Yeah, right.
Kate: I couldn't help overhearing your suggesting to EJ that he buy an apartment or a house for someone?
Lexie: Yeah, instead of allowing this someone to move into his house. Your house.
Kate: And who is that someone, pray tell?
Lexie: Oh. I assume you haven't been apprised of this yet.
Kate: Obviously not.
Lexie: Hmm. Well, actually, it's two people. Nicole's mother Faye and her sister Taylor.
Kate: Aha. And why wouldn't you want them to live with us? What's it to you, Lexie?
Lexie: Actually, it's none of my business. Would you excuse me? I have to get to work.
Kate: Sure. Nice seeing you. Okay, now that's odd. This is going to take some detective work.
Gabi: I can't believe this. I mean, not only won't my brother answer his calls, he won't even pick up his messages.
Will: Maybe he's on a case. I mean, didn't he have to go into work earlier?
Gabi: Yeah, but still. We need to go down to the station. Yeah, Rafe is gonna know exactly what to do with this. Let's go.
Brady: Melanie, stop. Stop. We don't need you behind bars as well, okay?
Melanie: What, does he think he can get away with it?
McCarthy: You need to calm down, Miss.
Melanie: Taking advantage of me when I'm at my lowest? That's in--that's inhuman.
Brady: Hey. Hey. Take it easy. Take it easy. It's okay. It's all right.
McCarthy: All right, you two, you can wait in the interrogation room. You wait here.
Dario: Rafe, great. Just who I needed to see. I can do a little cash...
Nicole: Am I missing something here? What makes you think you can take my husband away from me?
Taylor: No, I didn't mean it like that. Um, what I meant was that I don't want to take you away from--from EJ.
Nicole: That's not what you said.
Taylor: Come on, Nicole. My point was that I don't want to take time away from you and EJ being together. And I'm serious about that, so I just need you to know that while I'm living here, um, with--with you and EJ, that I won't get in your way. That's a promise.
Stefano: [Sighs] Well, it's all set. You win this time.
EJ: Thank you. It's the only way, you know.
Stefano: Mm. I swear to God, Elvis. I don't know why I listen to you at times. I mean, you make one mistake after another.
EJ: Well, that's why you're a loving father.
Stefano: He will be removed as soon as possible.
EJ: Excellent. I have enough things to worry about at the moment.
Melanie: Great. How long do we have to stay in here?
Brady: [Sighs] We still have to make our statements. You wanted to press charges, remember?
Melanie: Sorry. Thanks for rescuing me earlier. Even though I know you probably think it was him that needed rescuing from me.
Brady: You were pretty ferocious.
Melanie: Yeah, well, I always land on my feet.
Brady: You do. But it's always good to have a friend there once in a while to catch you just in case you might slip up and fall.
Dario: So come on. Give it to me. I know you want to.
Rafe 2: Okay, honestly, buddy, I have no idea who--
