Taylor: Yeah, I'm not much of a scarf person.

EJ: Really? You just don't wear scarves?

Taylor: No, I mean, I'd like to, but I'm just not very good at them, you know. Yeah, it's true. Now, you, you're probably great with scarves... in a totally masculine way, I mean.

EJ: I see. Would you like me to show you what I can do with a scarf?

Taylor: Okay. Oh, no, I... oh, God. Just as well. The man's your sister's husband. Forget him.

Brady: You're not sure if it's legal? Let me ask you something. When was the last time Titan Enterprises worried about whether something was legal? Let me answer that for you. Never. I don't care. Just make it happen. Oh, and by the way, I don't want you to call me until it does happen!

Victor: Bad day?

Brady: [Sighs] Nothing I can't handle.

Victor: Really? 'Cause, to me, you look like a man whose plans are falling apart right before his eyes.

Maggie: Okay, the lasagna's in the fridge for you and Abigail. Now, when you go to warm it up, put it on 350 and just leave the foi--

Jennifer: Jack's blogging again. He's online. Oh, it seems he's traveling. He's in India, wow. He's at an ashram? An "ash-rahm"?

Maggie: Whatever that is.

Jennifer: I don't know.

Maggie: Any mention about what his wife has gone through since he's been off on his spiritual journey?

Jennifer: Uh, no.

Maggie: Mm-hmm. Did he mention all the messages he got from Julie and me, begging him to call home, because something very serious had happened?

Jennifer: Let's see. No, there is nothing about that, either. Oh! But look at this. He does say that he has stripped away all the pretensions.

Maggie: Stripped away the pretensions.

Jennifer: Yes.

Maggie: Jack?

Jennifer: Yes, he is cleansed. He is seeing life in a whole new way.

Maggie: Mmm. Maybe Julie and I called the wrong cell phone. Maybe he didn't get any of our messages.

Jennifer: Yeah. Or maybe he did. Maybe he did, and he just doesn't care.

Abby: I can't believe you even know that guy.

Will: Why?

Abby: Does his girlfriend stay with their kid while he hangs out with his old friends from high school?

Gabi: Chad doesn't have a kid.

Abby: But I told you I saw him with this little kid today in here.

Will: Are you sure that's the guy you're talking about?

Abby: Yeah, he's the total jerk.

Chad: And these are my friends. Does that make them jerks, too?

EJ: Hey, it's me. Listen, I need to talk to you... now.

Taylor: Look, um, I'm sorry I ran out on you before, um... I hope you and EJ have a really nice time on your date.

Nicole: Forget that. You need to get back here... now.

Victor: You know, it's a shame you never learned to play chess.

Brady: Don't start with me.

Victor: Well, it teaches you strategy, how to plan ten moves in advance. Teaches you the folly of saying, "well, when it comes to that, I'll just wing it." Keeps you from waking up in the morning and realizing you've been screwed.

Brady: Titan isn't a game, and I haven't lost a thing.

Victor: You had one ace, and you played it. You got Vivian to sign the company over to you. But you didn't have a strategy as to what to do next. And now it's turned around and bit you. You know, it's always better to face defeat like a man. Or you can do it your way and have a drink. But no matter what you do, titan is going to be mine again.

Nicole: Wow, that was fast.

Taylor: Hey, yeah. You sounded so serious on the phone. Um, what's going on?

Fay: Me, I'm what's going on.

Taylor: Mom.

EJ: Ahem. Lexie.

Lexie: EJ, what's wrong?

EJ: Nothing.

Lexie: Well, them why'd you want to see me in such a hurry?

EJ: Oh, I just need you to do something for me.

Lexie: Something?

EJ: Something, and listen, you can't tell anybody that this came from me, all right?

Brady: You know the mistake you keep making over and over again? You keep underestimating me.

Victor: Oh, I don't think it's possible to underestimate you, Brady.

Brady: [Laughs] Here come the one-liners. Come on.

Victor: Just how long is this game gonna go on?

Brady: Until I win. Come on, granddad, I thought you'd be proud of me by now. I've become exactly what you've wanted me to become. I'm a man with a killer instinct. Aren't you proud of me now?

Victor: And you turned it on me.

Brady: You're not dead or anything. Why don't you-- why don't you spend some time and be like a grandpa, you know? Go read some books, travel, go get to know your new grandson.

Victor: Don't you dare patronize me. I am Titan. I built it with my own two hands.

Brady: And then you lost it. Stuff happens, even to you, hmm?

Victor: You must really hate me.

Brady: I don't hate you. I happen to love you. I love you so much that I feel the need to earn your respect. Unfortunately, the only way I can do that is hit you in the face with a two-by-four. The company is mine. Deal with it.

Maggie: I hate to see you look so sad.

Jennifer: Aw, yeah, Maggie, you know what, I'm sad... I'm sad because I had such high hopes. And I don't think that Jack and I will ever have the marriage that you and Uncle Mickey had.

Maggie: Oh. Nobody's marriage is perfect, sweetheart. Mine certainly wasn't.

Jennifer: Well, I know, but even in the midst of your big problems, I felt like you were always fighting to get back to each other.

Maggie: That's it. Fighting, that's the operative word. We did a lot of that.

Jennifer: Right, but what I saw were two people struggling to work something out, and you saying things just to make him understand you. That's what I saw.

Maggie: I guess. Maybe struggle is what makes you soul mates.

Jennifer: Uncle Mickey was yours.

Maggie: Yes, he was.

Jennifer: Well, you know, Jack and I, we stopped fighting a long time ago, aunt Maggie. It's so hard. It's hard to fight with someone when they are in the room with you physically, but not emotionally. And that's what happened. We just drew further and further apart from each other, and I really think that Jack left me mentally before he did physically. And now he's off. You know, he's finding himself. I have no idea what the heck he's looking for. But whatever it is, it's obviously not with me. So it seems clear that Jack and I, we don't have your kind of love anymore. I don't know. Maybe... maybe we never did.

Will: Ahem. Chad, hey. I guess you already met my cousin, Abigail.

Chad: She's your cousin? Hmm. So I guess you were telling cousin Will here about our first meeting.

Abby: Well... yeah.

Chad: What a first impression I made.

Abby: What I said was you were here with your son.

Chad: I was with Johnny.

Abby: Johnny?

Will: My little brother Johnny?

Chad: Mmm.

Abby: But you said you were here with your son, and you said you're not married to his mother.

Chad: No, you decided he was my son. I said I wasn't married to his mother, because his mother is Will's mother, and she's married to somebody else.

Abby: Oh, my God, so you were just...

Chad: Taking Johnny back to his father.

Abby: Oh. I'm so humiliated.

[Cell phone ringing]

Will: Sorry, uh, it's my great-grandmother. I'll be right back.

Abby: I'm really, really sorry. I have a thing about guys who don't try and make sure a girl doesn't get pregnant. I know that any friend of Will's could never be that kind of guy. What? What'd I say now?

Gabi: Chad, you kind of just let her have it. I mean, why don't you just tell her?

Abby: Tell me what?

Chad: That, um, you aren't totally wrong about me.

Taylor: Oh, why didn't you come yesterday, Mom? You could have been here for Nicole's wedding?

Fay: Oh, I'm so sorry. I just couldn't make it yesterday.

Taylor: You couldn't make it? Did you know she was coming?

Nicole: Nope. She just showed up and said she needs to talk to both of us.

Taylor: Oh. Are you made because I stayed here in Salem instead of coming to visit you?

Fay: Oh, no, sweetheart. I'm just, oh... so happy that you and Nicki are in the same town now, because I think you're gonna need each other.

Nicole: Why? What are you talking about?

Fay: I couldn't come to your wedding 'cause I was in the hospital.

Taylor: What? Are you all right?

Fay: No.

Nicole: But if you're out of the hospital, Mom--

Fay: They sent me home, 'cause there's nothing more that they can do for me.

Lexie: Oh! All right, what exactly is this something you need me to do?

EJ: Okay, just listen, you remember when Johnny was ill and we were trying to decide what to do, and you told me that you knew the chief of staff at the New York Memorial Hospital?

Lexie: Yeah, I know him really well. You sure this isn't about Johnny?

EJ: No, sorry. No, no, this has nothing to do with Johnny. Nothing at all. I was--I made a few phone calls on the way over here. I discovered that they have an opening at the hospital for, uh, you know, it's in their accounting department, I think. Mid-level, business degree required. Anyway, I have this, uh, friend of mine who meets all the specifications, and I was hoping that you might be able to make a call and ask for a favor.

Lexie: That's it?

EJ: That's it.

Lexie: [Laughs] Sure. Yeah, that's easy enough. So who's this person?

EJ: Uh, it's, um, Taylor Walker.

Lexie: Oh. So you, uh, want your wife's sister to leave Salem. Now, why is that?

Gabi: I'm sorry, Chad.

Chad: No, it's fine. It's just, uh, not that much fun to talk about.

Abby: What is going on here?

Will: Hey, uh, sorry. I got to go. My great-grandma's helping the rotary club tonight, and two of her waitresses didn't show, so...

Gabi: Oh, I'll help.

Will: Are you sure?

Gabi: Yeah. I mean, I work there, so I know the drill. Yeah, let's go.

Will: Um, you two gonna be okay by yourselves?

Chad: Yeah.

Abby: We'll be fine.

Will: Okay, see ya.

Abby: What did you mean? Why was I not totally wrong about you?

Chad: Because I did get a girl pregnant in high school.

Abby: So you're a father.

Chad: No. I mean, not anymore. My baby died.

Nicole: Cardio what?

Fay: Myopathy. It means an enlarged heart. And I didn't even know that I was sick until I started getting dizzy, and then I--I went to the doctor.

Taylor: And he said there was nothing he could do for you?

Fay: Well, he did put me on a bunch of medication.

Nicole: So you're not really going to die. You're just being a drama queen.

Taylor: Oh, God, Nicole!

Nicole: You know how she is. She's like the prophet of doom.

Taylor: Yell at her, my God.

Fay: It's okay, Taylor. I'm used to it.

Nicole: Oh! Mom, you made it sound like you were gonna die, okay? Did the doctor tell you that, or did you just make it up all on your own?

Fay: This is what the doctor said. That I should sign up with a nursing service so they can monitor my heart, and that the medication could help.

Nicole: See?

Fay: But he also said that my condition could cause an arrhythmia. That's an irregular heartbeat, and that could be fatal at any moment.

Taylor: Mom.

Nicole: She's not gonna die, okay? She-- she's not gonna die. Mom, listen to me. I'm married to a DiMera now. We'll find you the best doctors money can buy, okay?

Fay: Oh, sweetheart.

Nicole: And you're not going back to Cleveland. You're gonna move in here.

Fay: Right, I'm gonna live with you and EJ?

Nicole: Yes, yes. Wait till you see the guesthouse. You'll have complete privacy, okay, and you'll only have to see us if you want to.

Taylor: Yeah, do it, Mom, please.

Fay: Oh, girls. It would be so lovely to be with you both again, really it would, but, Nicki, you know you're gonna be busy with the kids, and you're gonna be with EJ, and, you know, to tell you the truth, I don't have friends anymore in Salem, and truth is, I think I'd be lonely, girls.

Nicole: Well, we'll fix that.

Fay: How you gonna fix that?

Nicole: Taylor will move in.

Taylor: What?

Nicole: Yes. You haven't found a place yet, right? So you could be with mom around the clock. Come on, what's the problem?

Lexie: So, why do you want Nicole's sister to move hundreds of miles away from here?

EJ: She's my sister-in-law. She needs a job. I'm trying to help.

Lexie: By having her move to New York?

EJ: Well, it's not exactly the moon, Lexie.

Lexie: Well, it might as well be.

EJ: Don't start that nonsense again.

Lexie: What nonsense? EJ, look, I happen to like Taylor, okay? And more importantly, Theo likes her. They've made a connection.

EJ: Oh.

Lexie: Yeah, and I don't want him losing his friend simply because you happen to have the hots for her.

EJ: Oh, for God-- are you really starting all that again, Lexie?

Lexie: EJ, I'm your sister, okay, not some flunky. I saw the way you looked at Taylor at your own wedding. I mean, everyone saw. [Sighs] Theo's not the only one who made a connection with Taylor. Come on. Admit it. Come on.

EJ: Okay, fine. Yes, I'm sure you'd be delighted to know that it's driving me absolutely insane.

Lexie: [Chuckles]

Maggie: What are you gonna do?

Jennifer: About me and Jack? I have no idea. Abigail thinks that I should have an affair.

Maggie: Mmm. She didn't really say that, did she?

Jennifer: Oh, she's just so hurt, Aunt Maggie, that she wants Jack to hurt the same way she is. It's just talk.

Maggie: Jennifer, you're a wonderful, beautiful woman now, and you deserve to be happy.

Jennifer: [Laughs] Oh, Aunt Maggie, happy-- that's a word I have not said in a very long time. It's hard. I feel so stuck right now.

Maggie: Does Jack know how you feel?

Jennifer: How could he know? We don't even speak to each other.

Maggie: Then maybe the first step is to change that.

Abby: Um, I'm really sorry about your baby.

Chad: Thank you.

Abby: Are you--are you guys still together, you and the baby's mom?

Chad: No, no. She went off to New York to study dancing. And the only thing we had in common was Grace, so...

Abby: Grace? That was your baby's name?

Chad: Mmm. So I guess I am the total jerk you thought I was.

Abby: My mom's always telling me that I think I know everything now, but when I get older, I'll figure out that life isn't always so cut and dried. I pretty much always blew that off, but... maybe she knows what she's talking about.

Chad: Well, I shouldn't have gotten Mia pregnant. You weren't wrong about that. But all I can tell you is I'll never forget Grace. I'm just trying to be a guy that she'd be proud to call her dad.

[Door closes]

Will: [Sighs]

Gabi: Time for my break to be over?

Will: Nope. The last Rotarian has officially left the building.

Gabi: [Laughs]

Will: So we're off the hook.

Gabi: Yeah, those guys really know how to drink coffee.

Will: Uh-huh. You know, I don't know what I would have done if you hadn't been here. Oh, uh, do you think I should call Abigail and see how she's doing with Chad?

Gabi: Uh, no. Let's let them work it out.

Will: Okay. I'd rather focus on you anyway.

Nicole: So it's settled then, right?

Fay: No, honey, it is not settled.

Nicole: But, Mom, you just said--

Fay: Honey, I know. I said that I would love to be close to you both again, and that's really true, but I just don't think--

Nicole: Mom, Mom... let us help you. You agree with me, Taylor, right?

Taylor: Wrong. I'm sorry, Mom. There is no way I can live here, Nicole.

Nicole: Why the hell not?

Taylor: Oh, God.

Lexie: Well, your feelings for Taylor are making you insane?

EJ: Insane.

Lexie: Oh, ho!

EJ: And if Nicole is gonna find out about this.

Lexie: Well, she'd have your head, or, uh, more sacred parts of your anatomy.

EJ: Would you call your friend?

Lexie: [Sighs] Look, if you're so sure that having Taylor move to another state will help you forget about her, why don't you fix it up yourself? Why don't you call one of your business associates?

EJ: Because if I do that and Taylor finds out, she'll come right back here just to prove a point.

Lexie: Mmm. You mean she has a backbone.

EJ: Lexie, will you help me, please?

Lexie: No. I will not help you rearrange that woman's life simply because she makes you feel things that aren't convenient to your master plan.

Brady: I'm not backing off, you know.

Victor: Neither am I.

Brady: Why don't I give you some advice for a change? Walk away from titan. Enjoy your life.

Victor: You know me better than that. I'm not gonna start building bird houses or taking up golf. You want to feel powerful, fine. Why is it necessary to put me out to pasture? Why don't you make me your senior advisor? I can keep you from running the company into the ground.

Brady: [Laughs] We both know that wouldn't work. Come on, Granddad. First chance you got, you'd have my secretary slipping poison into my cup while you were organizing your coup to storm corporate headquarters. Oh, by the way, hey, have you seen the latest profit and loss sheet? Seen one of these lately? If you had, you'd know that the company is doing just fine, far from being run into the ground. If you can't be proud of me, why don't you be proud of yourself? Because you are the man who made me who I am.

Chad: So, you're going to school in London, and you decided to come here and go to Salem U.

Abby: You think I'm crazy.

Chad: No. I busted my ass to get into wake forest, and I decided to stay here.

Abby: Salem's not London, that's for sure.

Chad: But it always feels like...

Abby: Home.

Chad: Yeah.

Tad: Dude.

Chad: Hi, what's up, buddy? How are you? Abigail, this is my buddy, Tad.

Tad: Hi. Nice to meet you. Uh, so, Kinsey is, uh... she's reading this "what's happening in Salem" blog, and it says that you were, uh... you were best man in EJ DiMera's wedding?

Chad: Right, I was.

Tad: Because you were Stefano DiMera's son?

Abby: What?

Chad: I just figured this out a few months ago anyway, so...

Tad: And when were you gonna tell me?

Chad: I don't know. As soon as I got used to the idea myself.

Tad: [Laughs] What's to get used to? It sounds like they're welcoming you with, uh, open arms.

Chad: Yeah, they've been okay.

Tad: Wow, man, did you fall in. I'm gonna get a coffee, and then, uh, you're gonna tell me this whole situation. It's nice meeting you.

Abby: Same here.

Chad: Um, I'm sorry for the interruption then. He takes a little getting used to, but he's actually a pretty good guy.

Abby: Don't worry about it. Oh. Oh, my God, I was supposed to meet my friend Angela like two hours ago. She'll kill me.

Chad: Oh, can you just call her and tell her you're gonna be late?

Abby: I really have to go.

Chad: Wait a minute. I thought we were actually having a pretty good moment here, and, I mean, if it's Tad, I can just tell him to...

Abby: It's not Tad. It''s you.

Gabi: What are you looking at?

Will: Uh, okay, don't get upset...

Gabi: What?

Will: You only have one earring on.

Gabi: What? Oh, no. Okay, you just gave them to me. We have to find them. They cost so much money.

Will: Okay, it's okay. Uh...let's just look around. It's gotta be around here--

Gabi: If we don't find them, we have to retrace our steps.

Will: Oh, got it! [Sighs] Got it.

Gabi: Oh, thank you. Okay, I'm gonna put these away, because I would--it would kill me if I ever lost something you gave me.

Fay: Sweetheart, listen to me. Come here. Look, I'm not crazy about the idea, either, but Nicki does have a point. I'm not working right now, and I can't pay the rent.

Taylor: I don't want us to be Nicole's free loading relatives. I will find us an apartment somewhere, I promise.

Nicole: Really? And how long will that take? Mom needs to be settled right now. EJ and his family won't mind if she's here, especially if mom is sick.

Taylor: But I'm not sick, Nicole.

Nicole: Taylor, come on! Everyone knows that you won't take advantage. You're the good girl in the family.

Taylor: [Laughs] That's why I can't live here.

EJ: Lexie, look, you say you're fond of Taylor.

Lexie: Mm-hmm.

EJ: Okay. Don't you think that it's better that she stay away from me?

Lexie: So you're trying to protect Taylor?

EJ: I'm married to her sister.

Lexie: Yeah, right. Wouldn't want to dirty up the sanctity of that union.

EJ: Look, there is not any possibility of a happy outcome here.

Lexie: EJ, if you're in love--

EJ: No, no, whoa! Stop, okay? I did not say anything about love, all right? No.

Lexie: So Taylor is just another one of your obsessions? The new Sami?

EJ: I don't know. Look, I just--I saw her...

Lexie: Mm-hmm.

EJ: And then something happened.

Lexie: Hmm. Something that you had no control over. That must have been a pretty unique experience.

EJ: [Sighs] Yeah, it was like being struck by lightning, Lexie, but, uh, this is no love song. This is life.

Lexie: Mmm. And sometimes in life, people meet the right person when they're married to the wrong person. So before you ship Taylor off to some other state, shouldn't you at least consider the possibility that maybe that's what happened with you?

Victor: You know what your problem is, Brady? No matter how much wheeling and dealing you do to get back at me, you still think of yourself as a two-bit drunk who can't hold onto a woman. Not even a money-grubbing, low life slut like Nicole.

Brady: You know what your problem is? You're so in love with the legend of Victor Kiriakis that you don't see what's going on. You're just an old man who's lost his grip!

Maggie: Stop it right now! Both of you!

Chad: What did I do now?

Abby: It's not what you did. It's... you're a DiMera.

Chad: [Laughs] As if I had any choice in the matter?

Abby: I've seen the things they do. I'm sorry. Have a nice life.

Tad: What happened to Abigail? Dude, she was hot.

Chad: Forget her. She doesn't matter.

Tad: Aw, did you break her heart already?

Chad: For me to do that, she'd have to have a heart, wouldn't she?

Gabi: Who texted you?

Will: Grandma.

Gabi: From the kitchen?

Will: Yeah. "I have tip money 4 u 2."

Gabi: [Laughs]

Will: That's pretty good. She's getting good.

Gabi: Yeah.

Will: Anyway, I better get it before she changes her mind.

Gabi: Yeah, I'll be right back.

Maggie: What is wrong with the two of you, to talk to each other like that? Brady is your grandson. Isabella's son? How can you say these things to him?

[Cell phone ringing]

Brady: Oops, that's my lawyer. Titan business, gotta take it.

Victor: The battle may be over, but not the war.

Brady: Bring it on.

Victor: Oh, I will.

Maggie: You know, this is just insanity.

Victor: He started it.

Maggie: Oh, so what are you, six years old? You have to put an end to this. Tell me you're gonna sit him down and talk it out and really listen to what he has to say.

Victor: Look, I mean this in the nicest possible way. Butt out.

EJ: Lexie, if you won't call your chief of staff friend, then I shall have to find another way to get Taylor to leave town.

Lexie: EJ, EJ. If you're unhappy with Nicole--

EJ: Who said anything about being unhappy, all right? I'm not unhappy.

Lexie: You're not in love with her.

EJ: Love? I don't have room in my life for that kind of love.

Lexie: Oh, please, don't give me that.

EJ: I'm not giving you anything, all right? It's true. Nicole and I have an arrangement, one we're both extremely happy with. We know where we stand. The children are very happy. Samantha and I are finally beginning to cooperate, and I would like my life to stay exactly where it is.

Lexie: [Sighs] I actually feel sorry for you.

EJ: Why? Because I don't share the domestic bliss you have with Abe? Hmm? I'll try and keep my chin up.

Lexie: [Laughs] You do that. And, um, in the spirit of full disclosure, I feel I should tell you that you really don't have much to worry about with Taylor. I spoke to her at your wedding, and she said that she found you attractive, but that was before she knew you were married to her sister. I'm pretty sure she's over you by now.

EJ: Oh. Good.

Lexie: Now all you have to do is get over her.

EJ: I will, believe me. I will.

Taylor: I just don't think it's a good idea to make all these plans without asking EJ and his father.

Nicole: Fine. I'll ask them, but why would they care if mom was living with a nurse in the guesthouse?

Fay: I'd be living with a nurse?

Nicole: Well, we'll see what the new doctor says, okay? But it sounds like you need someone with you all the time. And it's too bad it can't be Taylor, but there you go.

Fay: Taylor, sweetie pie, listen, if I'm gonna do this, do you think there's any chance that you might change your mind? Hmm? At least, can you think about maybe doing it with me?

Jennifer: "I'm all about karma now. The yogi tells us that past karma can be burnt away by the performance of a pure act-- selfless, detached, dedicated action." Selfless, Jack? You? That poor yogi, does he have any idea who he is dealing with? Hey, uh... uh, it's me. Wow, that's crazy. It's really good to hear your voice, even if it is on the voicemail. Um, I'm not sure if I'm supposed to call you Dharma now. Is that your new name? But I just thought maybe you were wondering where I was, and I'm in Salem with Abigail. Yeah, she's fine. She's great. Thank you for asking. But you know, Jack, I just wanted to let you know that I'm not so fine, that I ran into a little trouble a while back, and this is gonna sound crazy, Jack, but someone cut my heart out, and I am not metaphorically speaking. It really happened. I almost died, and you weren't here! And you want to know what's really weird, Jack? It's that you hurt my heart more than the person who cut at it with a knife! [Sniffling] So take that and burn it out of your karma... Dharma!

Maggie: Butt out? Is that what you just said to me?

Victor: Yes.

Maggie: And why should I?

Victor: How is it your concern?

Maggie: Oh, you and Brady saying terrible things to each other, and I should just be okay with that?

Victor: How is that your business?

Maggie: Because it's just how I am.

Victor: Oh, you always stick your nose in where it doesn't belong?

Maggie: Yes, when it's someone I love!

Will: The Rotarians were generous.

Gabi: Cool.

Will: There you go.

Gabi: [Laughs] Wait a minute.

Will: What?

Gabi: You saw me put the earrings in here, right?

Will: Yeah.

Gabi: They're gone. They're not in here.

Man: These are worth some money, so I had to steal them from you, chica.

Nicole: Harold is showing mom around the guesthouse. He likes her already, I can tell.

Taylor: Don't you think you're kind of rushing things, Nicole?

Nicole: Mom has a heart condition. What else are we supposed to do?

Taylor: I don't know. I...[Sighs]

EJ: Hello, darling.

Nicole: Oh, hi. Hi. I'm so glad you're home. I have so much to tell you.

EJ: Really?

Nicole: Um, yes. Our... our mom showed up today out of the blue.

EJ: You seen that?

Nicole: And, um, she's sick.

EJ: Oh. Sorry. It's nothing serious, is it?

Nicole: It's her heart. And Taylor and I, we don't want her living on her own anymore.

EJ: No, no, I understand.

Nicole: So I was wondering if she could move into the guest house.

EJ: Um... yeah, I mean, of course. Um, are you sure that's the best thing, though? I mean, I don't want her to be on her own.

Nicole: She won't be. Taylor will look after her. She's moving in, too.

Maggie: Victor, what is it?

Victor: It's this.
