Hope: [Ragged breathing]

Lee: Oh, I'm gonna enjoy this. Been a pain since you got here. Merry Christmas, bitch.

Hope: Agh! Oh, God, please stop.

Male guard: Wakey, wakey. Dinner time.

Hope: Bo?

Bo: Yeah. It's me, Hope. I'm here. It's gonna be okay. Everything's gonna be okay.

Hope: [Whimpering]

Victor: Why the hell is a Swiss company buying Titan MP stock? And just before the closing bell?

Maggie: Thanks, Henderson. I'll just put this down...

Victor: Listen, find out who brokered it, and get back to me. Oh, for me? You know, I haven't even started my Christmas shopping.

Maggie: Just a few things that Melanie and Philip left at my house.

Victor: Ah. And, uh, do you have a Christmas list? Well, we could fly to Paris together and select a perfume, maybe.

Maggie: How amusing. Have you forgotten that I haven't forgiven you for what you did to Vivian? I mean, so much so that I cat stand to be in the same room as you.

Victor: Oh, is that why you drove all the way across town with, uh, some mismatched socks, a hair drier, and box of healthy cereal? To not be in the same room with me?

Maggie: I came to see Melanie and Philip.

Victor: Uh, me thinks the lady doth protest too much.

Maggie: Victor, how do I put this? Stuff it!

Vivian: Well done, Gus. You are a perfect little elf. Oh, Victor, this is going to be a Christmas you'll never forget. [Evil chord]

[Kissing and heavy breathing]

Brady: Talk about making the most out of a room.

Nicole: Mm-hmm. Like a couple of teenagers. Taunting fate.

Brady: I kind of like this dangerous thing.

Nicole: Mm-hmm. [Giggling] Not a DiMera in sight, and nobody knows that we're celebrating like this. [Camera clicking] [Heavy breathing]

Rafe: No, will, it means the world to your mom that you're there right now with Allie. Besides, there's not much you can be doing here right now. Yeah. I'm not gonna lie to you. It's awful. Your mom's in there right now,. Telling Johnny about his surgery. Yep, EJ's there. I hear ya. I don't know how she's gonna make it through this, either.

Johnny: Why can't I go home now?

Sami: Um, well, remember what I told you the doctor said about your eye? How it's sick? And, um, he said that, uh, it's this special kind of sickness that, um-- he said it's a kind of sickness that could spread to other parts of your body. And, um, they don't have the right kind of medicine. They don't have a strong enough medicine that could fight it.

Johnny: What do you mean?

Sami: I mean... I mean that...

EJ: Hey, Johnny. Would you do me a big favor and hold your mummy's hand? Real tight.

Johnny: Why?

EJ: Because I have something to tell you that might be a little bit scary. Okay? But your mummy and I know how brave you are, so we're going to tell you the truth. All of it. The doctors are going to do an operation. And they're going to take out your eye.

Johnny: Oh, okay. when do I get it back?

Hope: I was scared... you wouldn't understand my letter.

Bo: The day you misspell Ciara's name is a day we're all in trouble.

Hope: I am. I am in trouble.

Bo: Nah. Not anymore. I'm gonna get you out of this damn place. Come on, let me help you. Come on. [Groaning] [Whispering] Shh, shh, shh, it's okay. It's okay. My God. What have they done to you? [Gasping]

Daniel: I keep asking myself, when did life get so complicated? And the answer is, of course, when I found out I had Melanie. God, kids can just change your world.

Chloe: Tell me about it.

Daniel: When I found out what Philip did, I just--I wanted just--I wanted to kill him. That is not a figure of speech. The thought of him just cheating on Melanie. I could see my hands around his throat.

Chloe: Daniel.

Daniel: I know, I know. I quickly realized how much it would hurt Melanie, telling her the truth. So, you know, I believe Philip loves her. So he's got reprieve for now.

Chloe: Good. I'm glad you see it like that.

Daniel: Sex can make people do weird things, huh?

Chloe: Again tell me about it.

[Phone ringing]

Daniel: Lexie, hey.

Lexie: Daniel, I'm glad I caught you. Lexie listen, we have an emergency surgery coming up.

Daniel: Yeah?

Lexie: An enucleation for a retinoblastoma case.

Daniel: Well, I don't mean to be difficult, but isn't Dr. Sinclair on call today?

Lexie: Yeah, yeah, he is. And he is a very good surgeon. But, um, listen, I'm asking you to come in as a favor. We want to make sure that we're getting the best help possible.

Daniel: You know the patient.

Lexie: Oh, Daniel, it's, um, it's Johnny DiMera. It's my sweet little nephew, Johnny.

Sami: So, Johnny, your eye is sick. And, um, so they're gonna take it out. And when they do, it's gonna make you better. And you're gonna be all better, and there's gonna be nothing for you to worry about. But they... but they can put it back.

Johnny: Not ever?

EJ: No, not ever.

Johnny: Mommy!

Bo: Hope. Who did this to you?

Hope: Lee. The one who used to be a doctor.

Bo: Yeah, well, she's gonna pay.

Hope: It's the warden. She's... she's the one behind it all.

Bo: Yeah, I know. Especially when she wouldn't let me see you after you sent me that letter.

Hope: [Groaning]

Bo: Come on.

Hope: No.

Bo: You can do it.

Hope: I don't think... I don't think I can do it.

Bo: Yeah, you can.

Hope: No, I can barely move.

Bo: We'll do it together. Come on.

Hope: It hurts so much.

Bo: I know, I'm sorry. I'm sorry.

Hope: Bo, she--oh, God. The warden. It's bad. It's really bad. She's killing people, Bo.

Bo: Yeah. Yeah, I know. We're gonna stop her. Now, come on. Hold on. [Groaning]

Hope: Oh, God--

Bo: You can do it. You can do it, you can do it. Shh, shh, shh. Come on, you can do it.

Hope: Oh!

[Camera clicking]

[Phone ringing]

Nicole: Mmm. No, no, no, no, don't answer it. Don't answer it.

Brady: I have to.

Nicole: Don't answer it.

Brady: I have to 'cause one of Stefano's gorillas might come through the door any minute.

Nicole: Well, we have to do this again sometime.

Brady: Mm-hmm.

Nicole: What?

Brady: Victor wants me at the mansion right away.

Nanny: I'll be right back, Sydney. Just let me get you some warm milk.

Brady: Great.

Nicole: You better go through the French doors. Go, go, go.

Brady: All right.

Nicole: Bye.

Nanny: You're still here.

Nicole: Yes, I had to take care of some urgent business.

Nanny: Uh, I'm going back to Sydney.

Nicole: Oh, tell her I love her. Okay. [Phone ringing] Victor wants me, too? [Sighs] Um, I love you, Sydney. Victor's gathering the troops, huh? Who does that remind me of?

Daniel: No, I will be there right away. I-I'm sorry, Lexie.

Lexie: He's just a little boy. I mean, it's so unfair.

Daniel: No, I know, I know. You just hang in there, okay?

Lexie: Yeah, well, what-- what choice do I have? [Exhales]

Daniel: [Grunts]

Chloe: Something wrong?

Daniel: Uh, it's Johnny DiMera. He has, um--

Chloe: What?

Daniel: It's retinoblastoma. It's a cancer of the eye.

Chloe: Oh, my God. [Sighs]

Daniel: I can only imagine what Sami and EJ are going through. If something ever happened to him...hmm. All right, I gotta go, baby.

Chloe: Okay.

Daniel: Wait up for me?

Chloe: All right.

Daniel: Bye.

Chloe: Love you.

Daniel: Love you.

Chloe: Hey, Parker. You are one lucky little boy. You have the best daddy in the world.

Lexie: I just talked to Daniel. He's on his way.

Rafe: That's good. I guess.

Lexie: Yeah, you're right. I mean, there's nothing good about this.

Rafe: How much is Sami supposed to take? For God's sake, can the woman catch a break? I was with her when Grace died, you know? Now this? How the hell is she supposed to tell that sweet little boy what's gonna happen to him?

Lexie: [Sighs]

Johnny: I don't want 'em to take my eye.

EJ: Hey, sweetheart, let me try and explain a little bit what's going on.

Sami: Okay. So, um, I know how scary this must sound to you. It sounds so scary. Right? I mean, I would give anything if I could just kiss it and make it better for you.

Johnny: I wanna go home.

EJ: Okay, well, you can't go home until we make sure everything's all right.

Sami: Hey, sweetheart. You know what I promise? It's not gonna hurt. You are gonna go to sleep, and it won't hurt at all.

Johnny: No!

EJ: Samantha, can I have a word with you, please? Hey, mummy and I are gonna go and have a little conversation. But we'll be right by the door. Okay? Right over there. Why don't you just go outside, get some fresh air, calm down a little bit? Okay?

Sami: I'm actually perfectly calm. And I'm not leaving my son.

EJ: Okay, I think you need to give me a little bit of time alone with my son, please.

Sami: Why? What are you gonna do? Intimidate him? Tell him he has to be some sort of strong, little DiMera soldier for you?

EJ: That's a cheap shot.

Sami: I don't care. I don't care, because I'm not leaving my son. And I'm certainly not leaving you alone with him.

Johnny: Stop fighting!

Sami: Um, hey. I'm so sorry. I'm sorry that your daddy and I were fighting, but you know what? I'll tell you the truth. We were just fighting 'cause we were scared. And, um, so we were just saying mad things 'cause we're scared. Sometimes grownups, we do silly things, too, you know?

EJ: We just, uh, we hate that something bad is happening to you. Wish I could do this for you. Wish I could.

Sami: Yeah. Boy, Johnny, you gotta know, your mommy and your daddy, we love you. We love you so, so, so much. Yeah. I know. I know this is a lot for you to think about. But you know what? Um, when you're in that operation, you're gonna be asleep. You're not gonna feel a thing.

EJ: Oh, and then, when you, uh, when you wake up, we're both gonna be here waiting for you. And the doctors will give you some medicine so, uh, it won't hurt at all.

Johnny: Will there be a hole?

EJ: Um... yes. I-I imagine that there probably will be. But, um, I think you'll get a patch to cover it.

Sami: Like a pirate.

EJ: And then after, you'll get a-a pretend eye.

Johnny: Really?

EJ: Really. And, well, it'll look uh--it'll look just like your other eye. So you'll look exactly the same as you always did.

Victor: You know, I hate to tell you this, Maggie, but you don't seem to have much of the Christmas spirit.

Maggie: Hmph. And I don't have amnesia, either. Which is what it would take for me to treat you like a human being, instead of A...

Victor: Monster. I know. Well, I'll just have to get used to the fact that you're too good for me. And, uh, I've lost my very best friend.

Maggie: Damn it, Victor. You didn't jaywalk. You didn't fudge on your taxes. You left a woman in a coffin to die. Your only regret seems to be I should hold it against you.

Victor: Well, I-I just hope that you don't blame yourself.

Maggie: Blame myself?

Victor: Well, look at the sequence. You abandoned me. I lost my moral compass. Things could have been a lot different.

Kate: Oh, there you are, my darling. Mwah! Oh, Maggie. I didn't know you were here.

Maggie: I knew you were here.

Kate: Oh.

Maggie: I was just leaving.

Kate: Oh, okay. Um, good news. The Grimaldis are free. Angelina's gonna try to find a babysitter, so, um-- oh, the Biarritz in the winter. It's so restful, don't you think?

Maggie: I wouldn't know.

Kate: But, you know, there are some things I have to pick up, so I was thinking about a shopping spree in New York on the way. You know, and the plaza reopened. I could book a suite for us.

Maggie: A-ask Melanie to call me, would you? Give my best to Brady. Kate.

Kate: Bye-bye.

Maggie: Merry Christmas.

Victor: God, Kate, you laid that on with a trowel.

Kate: Well, you're never going to make Maggie jealous if you keep looking at her like a puppy who's been naughty.

Victor: I've never looked like a puppy.

Kate: [Sighs] I just wanted to make her think that I'm a gold-digger using you.

Victor: You are a gold-digger, and you are using me.

Kate: Really. And because of that strong moral streak, she's going to try to save you. Trust me.

Victor: Idiotic thing to do.

Philip: You're getting so tech-savvy, Father.

Victor: What do you mean?

Philip: Texting me, instead of yelling up the stairs, like you usually do.

Victor: I didn't text you. I don't text. Besides, text is not even a verb. [Phone ringing]

Kate: Oh, really? Because you just sent me one.

Victor: I didn't send it.

Kate: Then who did?

Vivian: Sending fake text messages. Reminds me of my wedding day. Getting all of Victor's friends to come over for the ceremony.

Gus: Madame.

Vivian: Oh, bittersweet memories. Was there ever such a naive bride? All those hopes and plans. Who knew that by Christmas I'd have to blow them all to hell?

Hope: [Groaning]

Bo: Keep going. Shh, shh, shh, shh, shh. Come on, it's okay.

Hope: Those poor women... who died, they didn't have families, Bo. They picked them because they didn't have families.

Bo: Yeah, yeah, I know, I know. Come on, just take it easy.

Hope: They were cremated.

Bo: Shh.

Hope: No autopsies.

Bo: Right, right. And this lee person's actually a doctor, I know. Come on.

Hope: I thought the warden didn't know. But she's part of it.

Bo: Shh. Take it easy.

Hope: And when they figured out that I knew, they tried to make you think I was crazy again.

Bo: Hope, Hope, Hope.

Hope: But I'm not. You know that.

Bo: Hope, shhh.

Hope: Don't you? You know that, don't you? I'm not crazy.

Bo: Shh, shh, shh. Hope, shh, take it easy, shh.

Victor: So you got a text from me telling you to get here ASAP.

Brady: That's right.

Victor: Starting to get a dreadful feeling of déja vu.

Nicole: I'm here.

Victor: Oh, God.

Brady: What is she doing here?

Victor: You got a text, right? Just like the damn wedding. Vivian is using my name to get everybody in one place.

Kate: Yes, except this isn't the wedding guest list. This is the "keep her in the sarcophagus" gang.

Victor: What the hell is she up to?

Hope: [Groaning]

Bo: Shh, shh, shh, shh.

Hope: I know... what I'm saying sounds crazy. I know you have no reason to believe this.

Bo: No, Hope. I do believe you. I do believe you. That's why I'm here. To get you out of this damn place.

Hope: Are you calling Victor? Tell him to call the governor.

Bo: We don't have time for that. You and I are staging a prison break.

Hope: What?

Bo: We've got a few things in motion, and according to the plan, we gotta be out of here right now.

Hope: No.

Bo: So come on. Gather your strength. We gotta go.

Hope: I can't.

Bo: Yes, you can.

Hope: No.

Bo: Hope, look at me. Look at me. We're gonna get out of here. [Gasping]

Sami: This eye, your good eye, it's gonna be super strong. Like, you'll have super powers. You'll be able to see good enough for two eyes. And you'll still be able to do everything that you do. You're gonna be able to play sports, and you'll be able to watch TV.

EJ: You can drive.

Johnny: Daddy.

EJ: Ah, one day, you can drive.

Johnny: Heh. But I'm still scared.

Sami: Yeah. It's okay to be scared. 'Cause you know what? Mama's scared, too. I think it's okay to feel a lot of feelings at the same time. Like you're confused, and you're scared, and... and you're strong. [Whispering] Can I tell you a secret?

Johnny: Mm-hmm.

Sami: The secret to how to be brave.

Johnny: Mm-hmm.

Sami: Do you wanna hear it?

Johnny: Mm-hmm.

Sami: The secret to being brave is love. I love you so much. And I-I know that love is stronger than fear. And it's stronger than worry. And it's stronger than... whatever's happening to your eye right now. Love is the strongest thing in the whole world. And it is gonna help you feel better. Okay?

Johnny: I love you, Mommy.

Sami: I love you.

Daniel: So how much did that needle hurt? Eh? Well, that's the most it's gonna hurt because the hurt part? It's over. Yeah. And real soon now, the medicine that nurse Lisa's given you is gonna start to make you feel sleepy. But when you wake up, it will be all over. And your mom and dad will be right there with you.

Orderly: Ready, doc?

Daniel: Just a second.

Sami: Hey. Don't worry about anything, okay? 'Cause Dr. Jonas is gonna take such good care of you.

Johnny: I'm sleepy.

EJ: It's okay. That's a good thing, all right? I love you.

Johnny: I love you, too. Goodnight, Mommy.

Sami: Goodnight. Sleep tight. I'll see you in the morning light.

Daniel: It's okay. I'll take great care of him. Okay?

Sami: Oh, my baby. Oh, my sweet, little baby.

Rafe: I know, I know. I know.

Chloe: Maggie, hey. Come in. Did you forget something?

Maggie: Uh, no. I-I just wanted to see how you were doing.

Chloe: Me?

Maggie: Yeah. I-I got a sense that something was going on when you and Philip were talking earlier.

Chloe: Oh, well, uh, yeah, there--there was. But everything's fine now.

Maggie: Fine? Philip told me that he and Daniel had had quite a fight.

Chloe: Yeah, but they--they worked everything out.

Maggie: Do you know what the fight was about?

Chloe: Actually, I-I don't know. I think it was just some sort of male macho thing. You know how it is. I'm sure Philip started it, actually. You know how those Kiriakis men are.

Maggie: Mm, don't I ever.

Philip: Melanie, call me as soon as you get this. And don't come home without calling me first.

Victor: Did you get her?

Philip: Left a voicemail.

Victor: Oh. Well, I think Melanie's safe. She's not on Vivian's list. The rest of us, though, better get the hell out of here.

Vivian: Too late for that. Guess what. She's back!

Hope: No. No, I can't let you do this.

Bo: Hope, I am not gonna leave this place without you.

Hope: You'll end up in-- oh, you'll end up in prison yourself. Think of Ciara. Our baby.

Bo: Hope, I am not gonna let them kill you the way they killed those other women.

Hope: Go. Tell people what's going on.

Bo: No, we will talk about this later. We'll sort it out later. But right now, we gotta get moving. We are doing this for our baby. For Ciara.

Hope: For Ciara.

Bo: Yes.

Hope: I need a little help.

Bo: Okay. Come on, let's go. Don't have a whole lot of time. There's a guard shift change happening right about now. And we gotta--gotta move, okay?

Hope: Oh, God.

Bo: Find your feet.

Hope: Okay.

Bo [In macho voice]: Come on, prisoner, get over here and eat your damn dinner. Get offa me.

Sami: Rafe, my--my heart is going, like, a million miles a minute. And I--and I-I don't even know-- oh, God, I can't think. I can't talk. I can't think about what's happening to my son. I mean, if I start thinking about what they are doing to him. I mean, they are--they're taking his eye.

Rafe: Sami.

Sami: Rafe, his eye.

Rafe: Sami, listen to me. He's gonna make it through this. Johnny is a special kid. He is. Let's not forget he has you.

Sami: Oh, does he? I mean, what if EJ doesn't let me see him? What if he doesn't let me see him after the surgery?

Rafe: Let's not worry about that right now. We have enough to think about, don't we?

Sami: Right.

Rafe: Okay.

Sami: Right. Right, I-I can't think about that because--because I have to focus on--on Johnny. And I promised him. I promised him I would be there for him when he came out of the surgery. And--and if I start to, you know, cry right now, then--then I won't be able to keep it back.

Rafe: Sami, Sami. Sami, you're the strongest person that I know. Let's not forget we got through a lot of stuff. And we're gonna get through this together.

Sami: I couldn't do this without you.

Rafe: That's what I'm saying. I'm here. Right here.

Sami: Losing Grace was the hardest thing--the hardest thing that ever--that ever happened to me, and--and I couldn't have done it without you. And--and no matter what, I don't think I could go through that again. I don't think I could lose him.

EJ: Don't talk like that. Look, we're not going to lose Johnny, all right? Samantha. We're not going to lose Johnny. Okay?

Hope: Aah!

Lee: What are you doing here?

Bo: Just brought her damn dinner. What's it to ya?

Lee: It's not time for dinner.

Bo: Uh, what can I say? It's my first day on the job.

Lee: Yeah, I haven't seen you before. Or have I? [Gasping]

Bo: Come on, prisoner, eat up.

Vivian: Well, well, well. So nice to spend the holidays with family and friends. Oh, I wouldn't bother with that, Victor. I have a lawyer and a small army of mercenaries outside. We're all going to have a nice, little chat.

Victor: I don't know what you think we have to talk about.

Vivian: Well, I--I'd certainly like cook's recipe for eggnog. And, oh, then there's Kate's shoes. Well, you know, they're all just divine. I don't know where she gets them. And those socks. Oh, and I forgot to tell you. It's the end of the line for all of you. Collectively. All of you. Because now you're mine. All mine. [Dramatic chord]

Chloe: Here you go.

Maggie: Oh, you don't have to be waiting on me. But thank you.

Chloe: Oh, I'm glad to do it. It's fun to have the company. Daniel actually got called away. Actually, I-I kind of have some bad news.

Maggie: What?

Chloe: Well, you know Johnny DiMera? He has some sort of eye cancer.

Maggie: Oh. Oh, mother of God.

Chloe: Yeah, Daniel is doing the surgery. But he's gonna lose the eye.

Maggie: Oh, that poor little boy. Poor Sami and EJ.

Chloe: I know. I used to always think that I knew how much parents loved their kids. But until I had Parker, I really had no idea. I just wonder how much more poor Sami can take.

Maggie: I mean this with a lot of respect. Sami is strong. The one I worry about is EJ.

Rafe: Yeah, Johnny's not gonna die. We know. Thank you.

EJ: You know, I don't think it's any of your business, Rafe.

Rafe: Actually, EJ, this is my business. Listen, Sami is scared right now, okay? She doesn't need-- what?

EJ: You want to watch where you're putting your hands.

Rafe: Oh, really?

Sami: Stop being such a jerk, all right? We're just worried about Johnny.

EJ: You know, I have tried to do what is best for my son.

Rafe: Is he kidding?

EJ: I let you spend time with him.

Sami: Let me?

EJ: I let you spend time with him.

Rafe: Wow.

EJ: Well, after this, we go back to the status quo. You don't get to see Johnny.

Sami: No.

EJ: No.

Sami: You just go to hell, EJ. Go to hell.

Lexie: Stop it, stop it, stop it, stop it. Both of you.

EJ: Lexie, do you have any news on Johnny?

Lexie: He's under anesthesia. They're just getting started. But I'm telling you--and I mean it--if you can't keep it together, I'm calling security and having you thrown out of here. Start acting like adults. For Johnny's sake.

Daniel: Let's hope we don't find anything worse than we're already dealing with.

[Monitor beeping]

Rafe: It means a lot to you

Rafe: He's in surgery right now. I'll call as soon as I hear something.

Sami: Well, Dad, I just don't think it's a good idea right now.

Rafe: She's talking to your grandpa right now. I'll have her call as soon as she's off, okay?

Sami: No, of course I want you to be here.

Rafe: Okay.

Sami: I just--

Rafe: It means a lot to your mom that you're there right now with Allie.

Sami: I have Rafe here with me.

Rafe: Okay, bye.

Sami: And I just think if EJ saw you, he would go over the top, you know? No, I don't give a damn what he thinks, either. But of course I can't let him get upset. You know, I-I'm counting on him to be calm when Johnny comes back. I don't know, Dad. I just go between wanting to strangle him and seeing that he's honestly all alone, you know? I know, but obviously, he loves his son, okay? N-no, Dad-- that's a good idea. Why don't you light a candle for us, too?

Lexie: EJ. Why don't you call Father?

EJ: Johnny's still in surgery. There's nothing really to tell him, is there?

Lexie: Maybe he could help you get through this. He spent a lot of time here waiting for you to wake up. He knows what you're going through.

EJ: Don't think anybody really knows what I'm going through, Lexie.

Kate: You know what was nice when you were trapped in that sarcophagus? That you were trapped in that sarcophagus. [Chuckles]

Vivian: You're so funny. So glib. All of you were so amusing while I was in there. So I have decided to wipe the smiles off your faces permanently.

Victor: I sure don't miss all the hyperbole.

Vivian: It's not hyperbole, Vic. I can prove everything I have to say here. For instance, if I want Brady to lose his five o' clock shadow, or Philip to get a decent executive haircut, it'll be done.

Victor: Just throw her ass out.

Vivian: Is that any way to talk to your boss?

Victor: My boss?

Vivian: Give this to your father.

Philip: What is this?

Vivian: It's proof that you all work for me. I own Titan Industries lock, stock, and barrel.

Bo: What can I say? I got one of them faces. Everybody thinks they always know me.

Lee: So you just started?

Bo: What's it to ya? Now, get outta this damn cell.

Lee: No one told me about a new guard.

Bo: Oh, yeah? Like they're supposed to get an okay from a prisoner? I don't think so.

Lee: You don't know how things work around here, do you? I'm gonna go get the head guard. He'll clue you in. Whoa.

Bo: That would not be a good idea.

Lee: You just made a really big mistake.

Hope: Argh! No. You did. I enjoyed that. I really did. [Groaning]

Bo: That should buy us some time. You ready? We gotta get outta here.

Hope: [Gasping]

Bo: Hold on, hold on. One step in front of the other. Let's go. Here we go.

Hope: [Panting]

Bo: Easy, easy, easy.

Hope: Okay.

Bo: Here we go.

Vivian: Read it and weep. I am now the majority stockholder. You boys weren't paying enough attention. You see, your daddy--your grand-daddy--was so busy chasing down Maggie Horton, and you had your extracurricular activities, no one was watching the store.

Victor: I'm not gonna let you get away with this.

Vivian: You have no choice. I say jump, and you say how high, or I leave you all with nothing.

EJ: Lexie, this is taking a long time. Should we not have heard something by now?

Lexie: I'll go see what I can find out, okay?

EJ: Thank you.

Sami: Yeah. Sweetie, it's so wonderful to hear that. No, you, um, you take good care of your brother, okay? You take care of Will. Yeah, I love you, too. I'll talk to you later. I think this is taking too long.

Rafe: No, it just seems that way.

Sami: No, no. I just have this sense that-- that something is wrong.

Rafe: Sami. Nothing is wrong, okay? Everything is gonna be okay. Want some tea?

Sami: No, I want my son to be all right. I just want him. I want him to get through this. And I--and I want to see him smile, and I wanna hear him laugh, and I wanna hold him in my arms, and I want to know that everything is going to be all right. And I want this nightmare to be over. I can accept that he has to lose his eye. But I want him to be cancer-free, and I wanna know that he is gonna be all right.

Rafe: He will be.

[Monitor beeping]

Daniel: What? What is it? [Sighs] Has the cancer spread?

On the next "Days of Our Lives" --

Vivian: This all belongs to little old me.

Woman: This could be too dangerous.

EJ: Please, what's going on with our son?
