Daniel: Are you there?

Chloe: [Moaning]

Melanie: Are you insane? Are you serious? You'll do whatever it takes. You'll fake having a baby. You'll pretend like you're dying just to make sure that Daniel doesn't find out you're a liar?

Chloe: Oh, no, G-G-God, no. This is happening right now. This baby's coming now! [Breathing heavily]

Philip: So... shall I do the honors, so you can look into Vivian's beady, little eyes and give her what for?

Victor: The lever's right there.

Maggie: What are they saying? [Whimpers] Are they gonna open it?

Victor: Hello, Vivian? You ready for company? 'Cause here we come.

Vivian: Stop, Victor. No, no. Don't move.

Stefano: [Sighs] Apparently you've got men dragging the shores, catching everything that's, uh, flowing into the Salem River, huh?

EJ: I do.

Stefano: Hope you're paying them well... especially if all you want is to find something that fell out of Arianna's purse when she was hit by that car.

EJ: What I'm hoping to find, Father, is proof that Samantha shot me.

Stefano: Mm. Yes. You said the-- possibly, um, cell phone.

EJ: Or a tape recorder or something--that's not the point. The point is, if I find it, I might be able to get my children back.

Stefano: Yes, but I mean, what if the only thing you find is a piece of jewelry, I mean, some worthless bauble, hmm? And what if it turns out that Samantha is not the one who shot you? Then what?

Rafe: Sound asleep.

Sami: Already?

Rafe: What can I say?

Sami: What did he want to talk to you about?

Rafe: Nothing. Just had a little man-to-man, you know.

Sami: What did he say, Rafe?

Rafe: He was, um... he was upset about my sister. I don't know. I guess maybe he was thinking about his sister.

Sami: Of course, he was.

Rafe: He's a good kid.

Sami: And he loves you a lot.

Rafe: Well, I love him too. And I love you... and those kids. I don't know what I would've done without you these last few days, you know?

Sami: We're here for you. We're here for you always.

Rafe: Good... 'cause I can't lose you.

Sami: And you won't... ever.

Sami's voice: I had to stop him. [Crying] The next thing I know, I had that gun in my hand, and I pulled the trigger. I shot him.

Nicole: What the hell am I supposed to do with this?

EJ: What kind of nonsense is that, Father? You know damn well Samantha shot me. Once I have proof--

Stefano: Yeah, I know, and then you'll be able to bring your children back home to you. [Sighs] Yes. I've heard it over and over again about a million times.

EJ: I'm sorry, am I boring you?

Stefano: No. What you're doing is you're frustrating the hell out of me. That's what you are doing. Look, as long as you insist on continuing this search for proof, time keeps moving on and on and on. [Sighs] Look... Giovanni and Sydney are growing up without you. They're forgetting what you look like, what you sound like.

EJ: Yeah, not for much longer, all right?

Stefano: So you say. But I say it's time for Plan "B."

EJ: Meaning what exactly?

Stefano: Well, I think... you don't need to know the particulars, all right? Let me take care of it.

EJ: [Softly] Right.

Sami's voice: I really didn't process it right away. I mean, I just got out of there, and I... remember being at the pier, and... I mean, there was a gun in my hand, and I just freaked out, and I threw it in the river, and then I... and then I ran back to Rafe's.

Nicole: Sami... put a bullet in EJ's brain and threw the gun in the river? Oh, my God.

Brady: What are you doing?

Chloe: Oh! Melanie, please. [Exhales sharply] I'm in labor. It's... oh, God, it's really strong.

Melanie: Chloe, stop that. If you're having contractions this early, they're called Braxton Hicks. They're just practice for the real thing, so suck it up!

Chloe: Oh, it's coming!

Melanie: You're not the first woman to experience them. Fixed.

Chloe: Ah! Ooh! [Exhales sharply]

Daniel: Oh, Melanie, finally. I was getting worried. I lost you, and I couldn't get a connection. Are you out at the island?

Melanie: Yes, I am right now. Dad, look, I know I said what I have to tell you I have to do it in person, but...

Chloe: Oh, Melanie!

Melanie: I have to tell you right now. This really can't wait.

Chloe: Oh, my water just broke. [Breathing heavily]

Victor: What's the matter, Vivian? After all this time apart, and you don't want to see me?

Vivian: Don't open the lid, Victor, please, not now.

Maggie: What is going on up there?

Victor: Well, this is a little weird, even for you. Why don't you want to see me?

Vivian: Oh. Well, I do... want to see you, my darling. I do. But I don't, uh, want you to see me right now. You see, there's been a little mishap in here, and, well, I'm not at my best, to say the least. Um, what I'd actually like you to do is go away and remember me as your belle amoureuse.

Victor: Fine. Good-bye. Good riddance.

Philip: What happened?

Victor: Didn't want to see me because she's, uh, "Not at her best."

Philip: [Chuckles] You're kidding.

Victor: She's as vain as they come, that one. Wouldn't leave the house without her eyelashes on, jewelry on up the wazoo. [Chuckles]

Gus: Well done, Madam.

Vivian: Another bullet dodged.

Victor: Let's get out of here. Just thinking about that harridan makes me need a drink.

Maggie: [Crying] No! No, Victor! Don't leave me here. Victor... [Crying]

Sami: I don't deserve you-- someone as good as you.

Rafe: Don't. Don't--don't ever say that.

Sami: Well, I--

Rafe: I'm serious. We deserve each other. We do. And I want to get married. I don't want to wait. I think we should do it right now. Let's just do it--

Sami: Now?

Rafe: Yeah. Unless you don't want to.

Sami: No. Oh, Rafe, of course, I want to. I want to marry you more than anything.

Rafe: Let's do it, okay? We'll go down to City Hall. We'll make some calls. We'll get a license.

Sami: Rafe, I can still see in your eyes how sad your are.

Rafe: Listen... I'm never gonna get over losing my sister. But I do know that... despite the fact that she may have had some... misgivings about our relationship, ultimately, she wanted me to be happy, and that means marrying you.

Sami: Are you sure about that?

Rafe: Sami, don't.

Sami: Come on. Your sister was not my biggest fan. And if she hadn't gotten involved in my problems, my feud with EJ.

Rafe: That was her choice to get involved. You're not to blame for that.

Sami: But that stupid camera has that confession on it.

Rafe: Can we not think about that right now? Let's not think about it.

Sami: It's hard not to think about. It's hard... to not think about what caused your sister's... to lose her life and--and what could destroy my life and my children's lives--

Rafe: No, it can't.

Sami: And our life together.

Rafe: It can't, and it won't. And we'll put an end to it right now.

Brady: You going through Arianna's things?

Nicole: No, no, um... I was just looking at... [Sighs] It's just sad... seeing this, knowing she's gone.

[Cell phone rings]

Brady: Rafe, how you doing?

Rafe: Hey, Brady. Good, thanks. Listen, sorry to bother you. I was just wondering if you had a chance yet to look through Ari's things.

Brady: Yeah. Yeah, actually, um, I was just going through them. Not much to report, though.

Rafe: You know, Ari had this little camera she always carried with her. I was just wondering if it was in there. And if it was, maybe I can, uh, take a look at it, get some pictures off it-- family stuff, you know?

Brady: Um... yeah. A-actually, Rafe, there's no camera. There's no camera in here at all. Sorry. And it's--it's not on the list of contents either.

Vivian: "Good riddance, Vivian."

Gus: Try not to dwell on it, Madam.

Vivian: How can he talk to me like that when I'm supposedly suffering the tortures of the damned, locked in a coffin, breathing in poisonous paint fumes?

Gus: Victor Kiriakis never deserved you, Madam. He spoke his wedding vows for all to hear, then he showed you no loyalty whatsoever.

Vivian: Obviously he was in love with Maggie Horton from the get-go, obviously. Well, that barn-bred little hick is gonna suffer, as God as my witness. Hello, Maggie, darling.

Maggie: I'm still here, Vivian.

Vivian: I do apologize for interrupting your much-needed beauty sleep. But, of course, that won't matter in the end, will it?

Maggie: What are you gonna do to me, Vivian?

Vivian: Do? Why... absolutely nothing.

Maggie: [Grunts angrily]

Brady: You know, Rafe, there are a few personal items here that I thought you and your family might want. Do you want to come by and take a look at these?

Rafe: Thanks. In a little while--uh, that okay?

Brady: That's fine. I'll see you then.

Rafe: So long. No camera.

Sami: [Sighs] It is such a relief.

Rafe: To say the least.

Sami: And I'm sorry. I hate that you had to do that.

Rafe: Are you kidding? Do you not know by now that I would do anything for you? Hmm?

Nicole: Is Rafe coming over?

Brady: Yeah, later. The only thing he seemed interested in was some camera.

Nicole: Oh, uh... I didn't see one in there.

Brady: I have a hunch that this camera is the reason why Arianna died.

Nicole: What?

Brady: EJ told me that Arianna was onto something... some kind of smoking gun that would prove who shot EJ.

Nicole: Really? Wow, uh... Brady, if you--if you had that kind of proof... what would you do with it?

Brady: What would I do with it? Well, EJ seemed pretty desperate to get his hands on it. Hell, the guy even said that it was Arianna's... dying wish that he get his kids back.

Nicole: He does love his kids.

Brady: Well, sorry, but so do I. Sami's a mess. There's no denying that, but you know what? If she took a shot at EJ DiMera-- I think it's far-fetched that she would, but if she did, I don't blame her. I don't blame her a bit.

Stefano: What's wrong? Talk to me.

EJ: About what... exactly, Father, hmm? You obviously still think I'm a child.

Stefano: Well...

EJ: Not gonna give me all the details about Plan "B."

Stefano: I just think it's for the best.

EJ: Really? Well, you'll excuse me, Father, but the last time you thought it was a good idea that you didn't give me the details was when Nicole switched babies. And that didn't work out very well for me, did it?

Stefano: Well, come on, would you stop worrying about your grudges here, all right? Think about now, Elvis... this damn problem that you've created for yourself now. [Sighs] Look... do you want my help or not? Are you willing to do whatever it takes to get your children back... or not?

Daniel: Chloe's in labor?

Melanie: Uh, yeah. Forget Braxton Hicks. This is the real thing!

Daniel: Okay, okay, wait, wait, what is she doing out at the cabin?

Melanie: Uh, uh, she--she took Maggie's boat, and the keys are gone. I don't know--that's a long story, but what's important, Dad, is that this is happening right now!

Daniel: Okay, Mel, I need you to be calm. I will be there soon with the meds to stop the labor, okay? Just, uh... you tell Chloe she's gonna be fine.

Melanie: Dad, her water broke.

Daniel: What?

Melanie: And I took the last ferry out here, and you're not gonna make it in time, and I can't deliver this baby!

Daniel: Yes, you can. You can do it, but you're not gonna have to. The average labor is 20 hours, okay? But I will find a boat, and I will be there in plenty of time. C-can I talk to Chloe?

Melanie: Oh, yeah, sure. Here you go.

Chloe: [Whimpering] Oh, God. Daniel. Oh, my God. I'm scared this is too early.

Daniel: No, honey. Honey, you are gonna be just fine. Melanie's gonna take great care of you, and if she needs any help, all she's got to do is call me, all right? And--and in the meantime, I will find a boat, and I will be there very soon.

Chloe: Okay, but hurry.

Daniel: I will. I love you, baby.

Chloe: I love you too. [Breathing heavily]

Melanie: I-I am sorry that I called you a faker. [Chuckles nervously]

Chloe: Have you ever... delivered a baby before?

Melanie: Well, not technically. I mean, I've assisted.

Chloe: No, but--but you know how it's supposed to go, right?

Melanie: Sure, in a hospital. But it's okay. It's okay. This is gonna be okay, because Daniel's gonna get here way before I even have to deliver the baby. And he says the labor lasts, like, 20 hours.

Chloe: Oh, there's no way this is happening for 20 hours! Aah!

Melanie: Well, your last contraction was two minutes ago, and the one before that was three minutes ago.

Chloe: [Breathing heavily]

Melanie: Oh, crap.

Chloe: [Continues breathing heavily]

Philip: Can you believe they called another board meeting? Honest to God, it's only--

Daniel: You know what? Never mind that. Chloe's in labor.

Philip: What?

Daniel: Yeah, and Melanie's stranded with her on Smith Island. The last ferry already left, and Chloe took the boat that I was supposed to use. And somehow the keys got lost-- I don't know. But once I get this bag packed-- I got to find a way there, man.

Philip: Done. Meet me at the pier. Get what you need. I'll get my boat. We'll be there in no time.

Daniel: Oh, thank you, thank you.

Brady: I gave her this. It was my mother's.

Nicole: It's beautiful.

Brady: We planned to get married.

Nicole: I'm sorry, Brady. I know your heart must be te--

Victor: Take a hike, Nicole. I need to talk to Brady alone.

Nicole: Of course. Always a pleasure, Victor.

Brady: What's going on?

Victor: [Sighs] On second thought, maybe, uh, you're not ready to be making any big decisions now.

Brady: Try me.

Victor: Well, it doesn't matter, anyway, 'cause I've already decided. It's not your responsibility. Understood?

Brady: Grandfather, come on, what... what's not my responsibility?

Victor: You're no longer going to have any contact with the wicked witch of the graveyard out there. That way, no one else can figure out where she is.

Maggie: Unlike you, there are a great many people who care about me. And they're gonna start to worry when I don't come home.

Vivian: Au contraire. Your idiotic friends and family will quickly understand that the poor grieving widow has finally taken a little cruise in honor of her dear departed Mickey. And then the days and the weeks will roll by, and you'll be all but forgotten.

Maggie: [Whimpers]

EJ: I'm handling things, okay? Just... stay out of it.

Stefano: Oh, boy. If I stay out of it, the children will grow up calling Rafael Hernandez "Daddy."

EJ: Enough, all right? That's not gonna happen.

Rafe: See that? Sami, it's over. No more looking over your shoulder, honey.

Sami: Hey, you shouldn't have to worry about me anyway, with everything you've been through.

Rafe: Look at me. Hey...

Sami: What?

Rafe: Don't tell me to stop worrying about you or thinking about you or those kids. I need to focus on you and us and our future right now. I'm telling you, it's the only thing that's keeping me together. All right?

Sami: I understand that. No, I do.

Rafe: What, then?

Sami: I just can't. You know, I-I can't focus on our future when I'm feeling guilty about what happened and that--

Rafe: Sami.

Sami: What happened to your sister was my fault, okay, Rafe? You know, if Kate hadn't made that call and if I hadn't been so stupid as to not tell you the truth--

Rafe: Don't, don't, don't--

Sami: All I did was go off on my own like... like a maniac, and I should have just told you. I should have just come to you and told you what happened--

Rafe: Sami. Stop it.

Sami: Well, I can't.

Rafe: I am not gonna let you blame yourself after everything that you've been through-- the safe house, losing Grace, Nicole, EJ, his damn lies, the kidnapping. Come on. You snapped, okay? What rational person wouldn't have done that? It's all good now. It's all good. It's all behind us. I'm gonna make sure that it stays that way. Okay?

Baby girl: [Babbling]

Nicole: I could look at her all night.

EJ: Look at her ears. They're tiny... tiny.

Nicole: And her rosy, little cheeks.

EJ: Mm-hmm. Did you see that--the cute little way she furrowed her brow? Where have I seen that before?

Baby girl: [Babbles]

Nicole: If I could get a second chance with Brady... why not Sydney?

Philip: Move it, man, we're waiting. Won't be long.

Daniel: Oh, that's great, man, thank you, thank you.

Philip: Hey, you know what? I'll go with you, make sure everything's okay. Now, if the baby's early like this--

Daniel: No, you know what? Just four weeks. But it's measuring big and nice and healthy, so I'm optimistic, yeah. And I got everything I want in the bag to make sure things go right. Let's just hope that he or she doesn't make an early appearance before we get there.

Chloe: Oh! [Breathing heavily] This is not how I planned it. I wanted Daniel holding my hand. I wanted Puccini playing in the background. Oh! And I wanted drugs! Oh!

Melanie: Well, uh, we have uh, some CDs, I think, but they're probably just Broadway show tunes.

Chloe: Ah!

Melanie: Okay, this is just another contraction, okay? So just-- [Breathing sharply] That's good. That's good. This is just-- just--just don't push! Just let it pass, okay? Just breathe, just-- [Both screaming] Good. That's good. That's good. Just breathe. Just breathe.

Chloe: [Exhaling sharply]

Sami: Oh, God, I want it to be that simple. I do. Rafe, I want it to be simple, but it's not. I mean, what about that camera? W-what if someone finds that camera? What if it turns up somewhere?

Rafe: They won't.

Sami: But it could. And if it's not the camera, it could be something else. You--you can't protect me from everything. You just can't.

Rafe: Well, I can sure as hell try, can't I? Hmm? Hmm?

Sami: I want to marry you. Rafe, you have no idea.

Rafe: Okay.

Sami: I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I want us to have peace of mind. I want us to live happily ever after.

Rafe: But?

Sami: I shot EJ.

Rafe: Yes.

Sami: And I have to live with that. And--and you have to understand t-that I am, as it turns out, capable of something like that and that it hurt my kids. And it cost you your sister's life, and--and--and she had her whole life ahead of her and-- and... and it isn't the only horrible thing that's happened to me in my life. I have disasters happen to me all the time. I-I mean, I-I cause trouble everywhere I go. And--and you have to know that going in if you're gonna marry me, that--that these things happen to me, and I cause them--

Rafe: All right, I get it. Bad things happen to Sami Brady. I get it. You think I can't handle that? I can handle it. And I love it. I love you. And nothing is ever gonna change that. Okay? Okay?

Nicole: [Sighs] If I put this on the 6:00 news, it'll be all over for Sami. I mean, there's no judge in their right mind who would let her raise Sydney. There's no way in hell EJ would get custody. I mean, he's a kidnapper. [Sighs] But so am I. [Scoffs]

Chloe: Oh, God! Oh, how much longer?

Melanie: Okay, Chloe, listen to me, okay?

Chloe: What? What?

Melanie: If we're gonna do this, I-I-I have to take a look at what's going on down there.

Chloe: Ah! Okay, fine, fine, just make sure my baby's okay.

Melanie: Okay, okay, so--so down and--and--and open for me.

Chloe: Oh, my... oh.

Melanie: Good, good, that's good, okay. I'm just--I'm gonna take a little, little peek here, okay?

Chloe: Okay.

Melanie: And, um...

Chloe: [Exhaling sharply] What? [Continues exhaling sharply]

[Cell phone rings]

Daniel: Melanie. Hey, look, the boat's almost here. We should be there in, like, uh, 20, 30 minutes.

Melanie: [Squeaks] I don't--uh, I don't think the baby's gonna wait that long, Dad.

Chloe: [Exhales deeply]

Victor: All right, stop. Enough with the guilt.

Brady: I'm feeling sad. Is it all right if I feel sad?

Victor: Yeah, sad is fine. It's just that somehow you feel responsible for Arianna's death.

Brady: How could be responsible? She was hit by a car.

Victor: You wish you were still her boyfriend. Therefore, the events that happened leading up to her being hit by a car--

Brady: I don't want to talk about it. I don't want to talk about it with you or anyone, all right?

Victor: Fine. As long as you don't blame yourself.

Brady: Why not, you know? I'm to blame for so many things around here. Why not add one more to the list?

Victor: Brady, I already told you. Everything about Vivian was on me. It was my responsibility. This is no time for a crisis of conscience.

[Cell phone rings]

Brady: When the hell would be a good time?

Victor: Yes. Oh, damn. All right, keep me informed. Well, now I guess we have another crisis to worry about.

Stefano: A woman's compact?

Marco: We got it just before it was flushed into the river.

Stefano: How do you even know if it's Arianna's?

EJ: Just forget it, Marco, all right? This is useless, which means the real proof is still out there... somewhere. Go! Come on!

Marco: Sir.

EJ: [Sighs] [Slams table]

Stefano: What is out there, and where is it? Look, Elvis... you have got to let this go. Come back to reality.

EJ: And do what, hmm? Let you take care of things? [Scoffs] Not on your life-- never, ever again.

Stefano: [Sighs]

Rafe: Sami... Sami... I love you. And we are gonna get married. Believe in that, okay?

Sami: I just don't want it to be too soon.

Rafe: Listen, no, it won't be too soon. Besides, Ari--she knew how much I loved you, how much family meant to me. She would want me to be with you, my new family... forever.

Brady: How in the hell could Vivian's servant get away? I thought he was locked up in that old toolshed.

Victor: Yes, well, apparently he whacked his guard over the head with a food tray, tied him up, and put him under a blanket.

Brady: That's great. You think he went to the cops or what?

Victor: Cops? Hell, he'd go straight to the mausoleum and let Vivian out of that sarcophagus. Come on.

Brady: Damn it.

Vivian: Maggie... what you need to understand is that I've been planning your disappearance meticulously for months.

Maggie: Vivian... [Shudders, sighs] Why would you hate me this much to plan something so diabolical? I never touched Victor.

Vivian: Not then... but when you thought I was gone, I watched you make your move.

Maggie: [Crying] I did no such thing.

Vivian: You were supposed to be in that sarcophagus watching the video of me and Victor in flagrante.

Maggie: Oh, ha! That would've been so amusing.

Vivian: Oh, I'll tell you what's going to be amusing. It's what's gonna happen to you next. You'll laugh your little ass off.

Maggie: [Whimpers, cries]

Melanie: Okay, push, Chloe. Push, push.

Chloe: [Wailing] I can't! I can't! [Breathing heavily]

Melanie: Oh, shoot. He must be on the boat. There's no reception. Okay, there's something you have to know. Are you listening to me?

Chloe: Wha--wha--

Melanie: At this point, it's extremely important that we get the baby out, okay? So you need to take all the strength that you have--

Chloe: I can't push anymore!

Melanie: Yes, you can. Yes, you can. You have to push as hard as you can, because the baby needs you, okay? Now push.

Chloe: Aah!

Melanie: Good! Good, good! I can see the head. Good! Push one more time. Push again. Push! Go!

Chloe: Aah!

Melanie: Good, good! Good, good, good! The whole--the whole head is out.

Chloe: [Wailing]

Melanie: Uh-oh.

Chloe: Wha--what? What? What is it? What is it?

Rafe: Hey, babe, I'm gonna head over to Brady's, check out what's in Arianna's safety deposit box.

Sami: Okay, yeah, just let me know what-- oh. [Chuckles] Take care.

Rafe: I love you.

Sami: Love you too.

Rafe: I'll see you soon.

Sami: Mm-hmm.

[Door opens]

Sami: [Laughs]

[Door closes]

Sami: [Sighs]

[Knock at door]

Sami: What happened? You just had to say good-bye one more ti--

Nicole: Hello, Sami.

Victor: Good work, Spiro.

Brady: So where the hell did Vivian's servant go, hmm? Donald said that nobody has been near the mausoleum. We know Vivian is still locked up in that sarcophagus, so...

Victor: Yeah, well, apparently he decided to turn tail and run. He went straight to the airport, made connections on a flight to South Africa.

Brady: Could we call Homeland Security, see if he can be arrested when he lands?

Victor: That would be a little difficult to explain. Besides, with Gus out of the country, we got nothing to worry about.

Brady: Yeah, nothing to worry about.

Vivian: The worms crawl in the worms crawl out the worms play pinochle on your snout [Giggles] Just a little something for you to think about while you're in there, Maggie. [Giggles] Sweet dreams.

Maggie: [Whimpers, crying]

Vivian: Damn.

Gus: What's the matter, Madam?

Vivian: I can't... get my failures out of my mind.

Gus: Your failures?

Vivian: Think about it. Carly managed to get away. Kate's still kicking. And Melanie was--she's surviving, and I-- oh, my God.

Gus: Madam?

Vivian: What if Victor finds out you escaped?

Gus: Oh, he won't find out. I hid my guard under some blankets, bound and gagged. Even if they find him, I left a trail to the airport. Then if they check the Internet, they'll think I took a flight to Johannesburg.

Vivian: Oh, well, that's very creative. It's--it's--that's good. That's good.

Gus: I still don't understand, Madam. Maggie Horton is locked in the sarcophagus. Soon the paint fumes will drive her mad. Then she'll run out of food. You'll win.

Vivian: Wonderful. Victory over a henna-haired little farm girl. At least Carly was a... [Sighs] Formidable enemy. And--and--and Kate, well, she was worth my time and energy on occasion. But Maggie Horton? Oh, my God, Gus, what has my life come to? I've sunk so low.

Brady: [Sighs] I know it's--it's probably gonna be tough seeing these things, man.

Rafe: Yeah, it was for you too, right?

Brady: Yep. I just feel like I, uh... I feel like I let her down, Rafe. When she needed me, I let her down.

Rafe: Yeah... yeah, me too. Okay.

Marco: Mr. DiMera? I was outside. I-I didn't mean to eavesdrop.

Stefano: And you heard my son tell me to mind my own business, hmm?

Marco: I was wondering... that assignment we had discussed before... shall I go ahead with it?

Stefano: Absolutely.

EJ: Come on. Of course. [Scoffs] I don't know why I didn't think of that earlier. Hmm.

Sami: What the hell are you doing here?

Nicole: I'm here to see how Sydney's doing.

Sami: She's great... great, 'cause she's never gonna be near EJ or you ever again.

Nicole: Actually, that's not true.

Sami: Excuse me?

Nicole: I'm gonna be a part of Sydney's life, a big part, and you're gonna make that happen, Sami.

Sami: [Scoffs]

Chloe: [Gasps] Melanie, you're freaking me out!

Melanie: Okay, stay calm.

Chloe: What's wrong?

Melanie: Stay calm. Like I said before, the head is out, but the umbilical cord is wrapped around its neck.

Chloe: Well, do something!

Melanie: Of course, I'm gonna do something, but that means you have to push as hard as you can, okay? So push for me! Push!

Chloe: Oh, God!

Melanie: Push, Chloe! Good! Good! Good, good! Good! The head is all the way out. Once I get the shoulders out, I can take the cord off of the baby's neck. Oh, my.

Chloe: Oh, my? Oh, my? What does that mean?

Melanie: Um...
