Maggie: Okay, Victor... one last ditch effort. You're gonna climb out the window and wait out back, and I'm gonna go downstairs and announce that you were summoned by the U.N. to, um, rescue the Greek economy. And then I'm gonna come around and pick you up and drive you to the airport.

Victor: You're telling me to run away. Run away, run away.

Maggie: [Giggles] Honey, I'm offering you a ride.

Victor: And what...?

Maggie: What?

Victor: Well, I was just thinking what a ride it could be.

Vivian: Excuse me, am I interrupting something?

Victor: Yes, kind of.

Vivian: Well, I didn't know you were using my boudoir for a tête a tête.

Maggie: I was just going.

Vivian: Oh, good! Because the justice of the peace is here, and I want you to have a front row seat.

Maggie: You could do a world of good for the people of Greece.

Vivian: [Scoffs] Darling? What is she talking about? You know, we'll give something to your little charity in a little while.

Victor: You know it just seems to me that this is more than a one man job.

Maggie: You're incorrigible. Well, Vivian, all the best.

Vivian: Ah, thank you.

Maggie: You're gonna need it.

Vivian: That woman has never seen a boundary she wouldn't cross. This is my bedroom and my wedding day!

Victor: Oh, Vivian, shut up!

Vivian: Oh, God!

Victor: Oh, God. You can talk if you don't cry, all right?

Vivian: Not cry? Why wouldn't I cry? You're not even gonna marry me, are you? [Sniffling]

Kate: Oh, Victor, how the mighty have fallen.

Nicole: Oh, Kate, Kate! You will never guess who's here. Carly Manning.

Kate: Mm, the more the merrier.

Nicole: Mm-hmm. Mm. You, me, her, Vivian... we could have our own reality show... the housewives of Victor Kiriakis.

Kate: [Sigh] It's so tedious having anything in common with you.

Nicole: So, I mean, do you know why he's doing this?

Kate: I'm sure he has a reason.

Nicole: Hmm. Maybe he wants another baby.

Kate: [Muffled laughter]

Nicole: You okay?

[Both giggle]

Maggie: [Clears throat]

Melanie: Please tell me you got through to him. Please? Please tell me that Victor's not marrying Vivian.

Maggie: I don't think anything is gonna stop him.

Melanie: Well, I offered to give Vivian a poison comb.

Carly: A trip to the roof?

Chloe: Oh, I know. Kate could whip up some brownies.

Maggie: Oh, that man is so damn stubborn. And he is not fooled! He sees right through Vivian.

Melanie: Does he not care about how Philip feels? Or the fact that Bo's probably not jumping up and down at the idea of having a new stepmom.

Chloe: Well, after what she did to you, Melanie, we're not happy about this.

Maggie: Victor's many things but not stupid.

Melanie: Maybe it's, like, a recent development?

Maggie: [Sigh] No. What matters to Victor are his children and grandchildren. So it's something that's making him think he's doing the right thing. And, I don't know, we've just gotta figure out what's the best thing to do for Victor.

Bo: This little circus today is because of something I put into motion, so I kind of gotta stay. But if you wanna leave, that's great. You can go ahead and go.

Brady: What the hell did you do, Bo?

Bo: I underestimated.

Philip: Vivian?

Bo: Victor.

Melanie: Well, even if there's nothing we can do to stop this, we sure as hell don't have to sit around and watch it, so... Philip!

Maggie: Melanie, Melanie, wait. I'd like to talk to you. Actually, I'd like to talk to all of you for a minute. Um, I don't like to speak ill of the bride.

Melanie: [Snorts] You're kidding me with that, right?

Maggie: Yeah, pretty much.

Melanie: Okay.

Carly: So what is it?

Maggie: Like I said, I think Victor is going through with this as part of some strange plan to protect his family.

Carly: I know that he is.

Maggie: But I'm worried.

Carly: About what?

Maggie: I think that this may be phase one of Vivian's plan to pull Victor away from his family. And maybe she is rubbing all of your noses into this wedding, hoping that it will alienate you from him.

Melanie: So she wants to isolate him?

Maggie: I'm scared that she sees this day as a starting point.

Carly: Well, that's very Vivian. Go on.

Maggie: Well, I think it would be a good idea if and when she says "I do," if she feels the eyes of all the people who really love Victor boring into her back. Or the people who love people who love Victor.

Melanie: Hmm.

Carly: Point taken.

Maggie: Mm-hmm. And I think we should make it very clear to her that she has not cut Victor away from the herd. And that by marrying him... she's taking on the whole damn family.

Carly: Ooh.

Maggie: Mm-hmm!

Philip: You mind telling us what the hell this is about?

Bo: Well, after what happened at your wedding, I confronted Victor and told him he had a lot to answer for. And that he's responsible for containing Vivian.

Daniel: So he's gonna marry her.

Brady: Whatever happened to just bumping someone off?

Bo: Yeah, I didn't think he'd actually go through with it. I mean, we're talking about marrying the devil here.

Philip: [Scoffs]

Brady: I don't wanna even think about it.

Daniel: That takes some strange courage.

Philip: Yeah, like one of those Greek heroes my father's so fond of, doomed to eternal suffering.

Bo: So I gotta stay. 'Cause this is, in a funny way, my fault.

Philip: Well, I couldn't agree with you more.

Daniel: No, the thing is, we're not just talking about this stupid wedding. I mean, what happens to our families when she becomes Mrs. Victor Kiriakis? And how do Philip and I deal with the fact that she tried to kill Melanie? Marrying her is like we're condoning what she did.

Bo: Yeah. Back to the beginning. You guys wanna go, go. You wanna ostracize him, fine with me. But I gotta stay.

Vivian: That redheaded, butter-wouldn't-melt-in-her- mouth woman has turned you against me, hasn't--

Victor: Stop it right there. Now I've let you get away with a lot, mainly because I don't listen to most of what you say.

Vivian: Oh.

Victor: But there are major, major ground rules. You will never talk that way about Maggie Horton again. She is a far better person than either one of us have a right to know.

Vivian: You think of Maggie Horton as the paragon--

Victor: Will you stop? You know, you would do better not to mention her name at all.

Vivian: Now, she has turned you against me, hasn't she?

Victor: Damn it, woman, do you want a wedding today or not?

Vivian: Well... you gonna marry me?

Victor: I said I would. Now I'm holding up my end of the bargain. What does that mean to you?

Vivian: That I have to hold up mine.

Victor: I am going to marry you. My family is going to turn their collective back on me. There is nothing remotely amusing or romantic about any of this. You will be Mrs. Victor Kiriakis, but believe me... you are going to be living on the razor's edge. And you really, really don't wanna slip.

Vivian: [Whimpers] [Sniff]

Guard: Hey, Hernandez, I have some news. You're getting a roommate.

Rafe: A what?

Guard: A prison transfer. We're very crowded here, you see. We need an extra bed, you have an extra bed. Works out perfectly, yes?

Rafe: How about you just let me out of here?

Guard: [Chuckles] Well, I cannot do that, now, can I? But I like you, my friend, so I'll give you a little advice. I'd sleep with one eye open from now on, if I were you.

Rafe: Oh, why's that?

Guard: Your new bunk buddy... he's an assassin.

Rafe: [Nervous chuckle]

Philip: I'm outta here.

Bo: Can't say as I blame you.

Melanie: Give him a minute, and then I'll talk to him.

Carly: Hey, Bo, I think you guys need to hear what Maggie just said.

Philip: Well... I have one hell of a blended family. My mother married the man who tried to kill me, and my father married the woman that tried to kill my wife.

Kate: Your father would take a bullet for you. This is not about you. Nothing will ever change his feelings for you.

Philip: Well, the problem is not how he feels about me. It's how I feel about him.

Kate: Philip.

Philip: Don't waste your breath. You know, I'm getting Melanie and we're gonna take off for the last time, okay?

Melanie: Maybe we should talk about that first.

Victor: Don't trip. Oh, everyone's gone, what a surprise. We'll be eating canapés for the next six months. Well, here comes the bride, Henderson. Isn't she a vision?

Henderson: You look lovely, madam.

Vivian: Thank you. Victor... even though your family is so judgmental, I just want to remind you that I will always be there for you.

Victor: Don't rub it in.

Melanie: As usual, Maggie has an interesting way of looking at things that I would never think of in a million years. And then once she says them, they kind of make sense.

Philip: And she said?

Melanie: We need to be here for this wedding. I know. Vivian needs to see us watching her marry your father.

Philip: Okay, I'm lost. What's--

Melanie: Maggie explains it a lot better than I do, so please just promise me you'll go talk to her before you decide anything.

Philip: I don't know. Do you think you can be here for this train wreck?

Melanie: Yeah, if you're there. Look, I know you're really upset, but I also know you love your father. And although he will never admit this, I think it'll really help him out if we're here supporting him.

Bo: Hey. Did you make your pitch to him?

Melanie: He's gonna go talk to Maggie. Right? Please?

Philip: [Sigh]

Bo: But before you go, um, sorry--can I talk to you for a sec?

Melanie: I guess so.

Bo: Thanks, I just-- you know, what you're doing here for my brother, for my family, it's--well, you're doing the right thing. And I want you to know it means a lot to me.

Melanie: You're just saying that because you're trying to get in good with my mom.

Bo: [Chuckles] Oh, right, right. Well, this--maybe Philip told you, this whole fiasco with the wedding, it's kinda something I put into motion. I made a mistake. I screwed up.

Melanie: Wait a minute. Did you just admit to me that you screwed up?

Bo: Yeah. Like you said, I'm trying to get on your good side.

Melanie: Well, I think we're on the right track.

Bo: [Laughing]

Hope: I am so unbelievably proud of you. A gold star ice skating today? Wow!

Ciara: I'm gonna put it in my treasure box. I wanna do it right away.

Hope: Okay, sure. You can do it before your sleepover. We have to stop at Grandpa Victor's house anyway.

Victor: What the...?

Vivian: [Quiet gasp]

Bo: Word has it there's going to be a wedding.

Justice: Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today in the presence of these witnesses to join together victor and Vivian in matrimony. Which is commended to be honorable among all men, and therefore is not by any to be taken lightly or unadvisedly. But discreetly, reverently, advisedly, and solemnly. Into this holy estate, these two persons present have now come to be joined. If any person can show just cause why they may not be joined together, let them speak now or forever hold their peace.

Hope: So let me ask you something. Can I look inside your treasure box when we get back to the house?

Ciara: No, it's private. Like the one you have, Mommy.

Hope: Like the one I have? Ciara, I told you, sweetie, Mommy doesn't have a treasure box.

Ciara: Yes, you do. I know it. It's under your bed.

Vivian: No one objects. Carry on.

Carly: Are you sure you don't wanna stop this?

Bo: No. For better, for worse... the ball's in his court.

Guard: Back up.

Rafe: What the hell did you do to him?

Guard: We tried to get him to confess to his crimes. He wasn't very cooperative.

Rafe: Ah, so you beat him?

Guard: Well, you should thank us. Now he will not give you any problems. At least not for a couple of hours. But when he wakes up, watch out. If he tried to assassinate a presidente, I don't think he'll be shy about killing you.

Rafe: Hey. Hey. Wake up. Are you even alive? Hey, man. Wake up here, buddy. Come on, come on. Hey. Good god. [Chuckles] It's you.

Justin: Philip, I just got a text saying there was something wrong with Victor.

Philip: Yeah, there is. He's marrying her. Drinks are over there.

Vivian: Sir, everyone's here and no one's objecting, so could we just get on with it, please?

Victor: Not so fast. I have something to say.

Vivian: You can't object at your own wedding!

Victor: Says who?

Vivian: [Sigh]

Victor: It means a lot to me that you all stayed. I know it wasn't an easy decision.

Philip: Well, there's cake, right?

Victor: It means the world to me that you're all here for one of the most endless moments of my life.

Vivian: What does that mean?

Victor: It's hard to translate. I know you feel the nicest thing you can say about me is that I'm crazy for marrying a woman who brought so much grief into so many of your lives.

Vivian: Victor!

Kate: He wrote his own vows, how sweet.

Victor: I probably am crazy. But I hope you believe me when I say that all I really care about is your happiness. Well, most of you, that is. probably all want an explanation of what I'm doing. Well, you don't always get what you want. Let's get this over with.

Rafe: Shane. Shane Donovan. Holy day. What the hell you doin' here? Shane. Hey, wake up-- [Grunts]

Shane: Shut up. Just shut the hell up.

Rafe: Shane, would you... listen?

Justice: Do you, uh...?

Victor: Vivian. This one is Vivian.

Justice: Right, Vivian. Do you, Vivian, take...

Kate: I, Katherine, take thee, Victor, to be my wedded husband. To have and to hold from this day forward. For richer and for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, as long as we both shall live.

Nicole: For better or worse. This is definitely worse.

Vivian: I do.

Justice: Do you, Victor, take this woman...

Victor: I give you this ring as a sign of my vow. And with all that I am, and all that I have. I honor you.

Vivian: I take this man to be my lawfully wedded husband. To have and to hold, to love and to cherish.

Victor: Why, Vivian! You're crying!

Vivian: I always cry at weddings, Victor.

Justice: Till death do you part?

Vivian: Victor!

Victor: Heh, oh, yeah. I do. Is that it?

Vivian: The--the ring.

Victor: Here.

Vivian: [Stutters] With this ring.

Kate: You can't have forgotten, Victor. Not with all that practice.

Victor: With this ring, I thee wed. There you go. [Clears throat]

Justice: I now pronounce you man and wife.

Vivian: [Sighs] Mazel tov. Well, I wanna thank all of you for coming here today on the happiest day of my life.

Victor: I need a drink.

Vivian: Victor, wait. Uh, well, start the music, this is the recessional. Victor? Victor? Victor!

Rafe: Listen to me. I am--

Shane: I said shut the hell up! Ah! No. [Grunting]

Rafe: Now just listen to me. I am with the FBI. My name is Rafe Hernandez. I'm from Salem!

Shane: Like hell you are.

Rafe: Would you just listen? I'm a friend.

Shane: No, no. I have no friends.

Rafe: Shane. Shane, it's me, I'm telling you, I've seen your picture a ton of times at Sami's.

Shane: Sami?

Rafe: Yeah, Sami. As in Samantha Brady. I know her. You're her uncle.

Shane: Brady, I don't understand.

Rafe: Man, I don't either. I'm telling you, but this is the best luck that I've had in a long time. Look, just catch your breath, okay? And when you do, you gotta tell me what the hell you're doing here.

Hope: Are you playing make-believe again?

Ciara: No.

Hope: Okay, how about this? How about when you get back from your sleepover, then you can show me what you're talking about?

[Phone beeps]

Hope: Oh, I have a message. That's weird, I didn't hear my phone ring.

Ciara: What's wrong?

Hope: I don't know, sweetie. But you know what? We need to get going. Come on, let's go.

Kate: All the scotch in the world isn't going to make you forget what you just did.

Victor: Hello, Kate. I saw that you were here.

Kate: Oh, I wouldn't have missed it.

Victor: But no Stefano. What is it? Another coma, another indictment, what?

Kate: Really? Do you really think you can talk to me about Stefano after what you just married?

Victor: I could talk to you about Stefano if I were married to Medusa.

Kate: But you are, my darling. You are.

Philip: Can we go now? Please?

Melanie: Yes, we can go soon, but I think Maggie's right. I think that it threw Vivian off that we all stayed.

Philip: Yeah. Looks like she's having the time of her life.

Vivian: Ah. Husband, mine.

Victor: You happy now?

Bo: Nope.

Victor: Me neither.

Bo: I didn't need you to marry her. I needed you to put her in jail. It's what she deserves.

Victor: You don't want Vivian in jail for the sake of justice. It's because of Carly.

Bo: So?

Victor: Well, if my wife... God, I hate saying that. If my wife deserves to be in jail, then so does your precious Carly.

Bo: I see marriage has not mellowed you. But this isn't Carly's fault.

Victor: No. Well...seems to me all the misery started when she showed up on your doorstep.

Bo: Actually, I recall being pretty miserable before then.

Nicole: Hey. Wow. You're as jumpy as that cat on a hot tin roof. Are you okay?

Chloe: I'm fine. [Sigh]

Carly: Daniel needs to know the truth, it's too important.

Chloe: You know what? Go to hell.

Carly: Would you rather he found out-- from you or from me?

Nicole: Mm, let me guess. This is about Carly, isn't it?

Chloe: [Sigh] Yeah, it is about Carly.

Nicole: [Sigh]

Daniel: Wow. That was tough to watch.

Brady: After being branded in mud, and I was thinking to myself, "God, life couldn't suck any more than this."

Daniel: Life can suck a lot more. Scientific fact.

Brady: Yeah, you're right. And I'm probably gonna have to go to another wedding, right?

Daniel: Hey, now, don't joke about that.

Brady: I won't.

Daniel: You know why? 'Cause Chloe and I are getting married as soon as possible.

Melanie: What?

Vivian: You haven't talked to me since the ceremony.

Victor: I wanted you to be able to mingle.

Vivian: Nobody'll talk to me.

Victor: Heh, well.

Nicole: Vivian, Vivian. There you are.

Victor: Ah, she wants to talk to you.

Nicole: Yeah. You see, okay, um... we need--oh, Carly! Carly, Kate, can you come on over here? I have a great idea. We're gonna take a picture of all the Mrs. Victor Kiriakises, past and present.

Vivian: Oh, God.

Victor: I think that's a wonderful idea. I'll hang it in my den. I'll call it the Eumenides.

Carly: You know, I really don't want to be reminded of that time in my life, so...

Nicole: Yes, but look how unhappy it makes them.

Carly: Okay.

Nicole: Great. Okay, so you're--stand here. Or maybe right--oh. How about that? Awesome.

Vivian: It doesn't bother me in the slightest. I am not an ex-Mrs. Kiriakis. I am the last Mrs. Kiriakis.

Victor: From your mouth to God's ear.

Kate: To Victor.

Rafe: [Clears throat] Here.

Shane: [Sigh] So how do I know you're telling the truth?

Rafe: [Chuckles] Uh, okay. Let me see if I can remember all this. Um...Sami's aunt is Kimberly. You were married to her, and you guys have some kids, right?

Shane: Kids. All right, so what are their names?

Rafe: Oh, God, how the hell do I know? Sami's family tree has got a lot of branches.

Shane: So how do you know Sami?

Rafe: Sami and I are... we were--we were together. And...anyway, I came down here to help her out, and... see, Sami's child was kidnapped. Sydney. But we got her back. We just never figured out who was behind it. Anyway, so I came down here following a lead, and then hit a bit of a setback.

Shane: Heh. Got yourself arrested, huh?

Rafe: Yeah. You see, Sami had a kid with EJ DiMera. And then Anna DiMera kidnaps the child. And I just think there were other DiMeras involved. I was about to find out all the truth, and then bam... Anna gets poisoned.

Shane: Wait a minute, are you telling me that Sami Brady had another DiMera child?

Rafe: Yeah. Well, you've been out of the loop for quite a while, huh?

Shane: [Sigh] Yeah. Apparently.

Rafe: So these guys here, they tell me you're an assassin.

Shane: Yeah. That's what they say. You know, I'm slated for execution agent in nine days. I'm public enemy number one down here. You think you've had some problems up to now, well... you've just admitted to being associated with me, so I'd say you've just jumped from the frying pan into the fire, my friend.

Nicole: Oh, okay.

Melanie: So you and Chloe are moving up the wedding?

Daniel: Yeah, that's right.

Melanie: But you guys are having, like, big problems. Don't you think that maybe you should wait to--

Daniel: You know, maybe you can say that a little louder so the rest of the room can hear you.

Melanie: Sorry. Sorry.

Brady: All right, I'm gonna go have fun someplace else.

Philip: I'm going with you.

Melanie: Oh-ho, you just... [Whispers] You agree with me, don't you? That Chloe and Daniel are rushing into getting married?

Philip: That's none of my business.

Melanie: Well, you're always so worried about Chloe.

Philip: Well, so are you.

Melanie: [Scoffs] Can you honestly say I shouldn't be?

Victor: You know, I realized about halfway through the ceremony, you should just be arriving at the airport.

Maggie: So are you proud of yourself, Victor?

Victor: Listen, I came here for a little sympathy from an old friend.

Maggie: Well, you picked the wrong lady. You defied everyone and married that woman. And then you made sure, very sure, that she didn't enjoy one second of her wedding.

Victor: Don't tell me you're feeling sorry for Vivian.

Maggie: No. But that doesn't mean I can't think that you acted like a cranky little boy with a big vocabulary. You deliberately set out to hurt her feelings.

Victor: Vivian doesn't have any feelings. You see, you make the mistake of thinking that Vivian is human.

Maggie: Well, I hope the both of you will be very happy. But my word, what an idiot.

Victor: Now I'm an idiot?

Maggie: No, she is. You'd have to be an idiot to marry you.

Shane: Yeah, well, it was supposed to be a simple fact-finding mission. But then I got discovered snooping around the library at the president's summer home. I'll tell you, this nation's government has an amazing number of conspiracy theorists. They all had a field day with my arrest. I was questioned quite vigorously a number of times. The I.S.A. disavowed any knowledge of my existence. Standard operating procedure.

Rafe: Yeah. Then it's no wonder you were so freaked out when you got here.

Shane: Yeah. Well, you obviously wanna get out of here, and so do I. I think we may be able to help each other.

Rafe: Well, it's funny you should mention that... 'cause I was thinking the exact same thing.

Shane: So do we have a deal?

Rafe: We got a deal.

[Metal clinking]

Daniel: Excuse me. Excuse me, everybody. I don't mean to steal my godfather's thunder, but I just want to take advantage of all of us being here together to make an announcement. Well, some of you may know. I just wanna make it official that Chloe and I are getting married right away ourselves.

Nicole: Yay!

Daniel: Yeah, so... to Chloe.

All: To Chloe.

Philip: Hey. You okay?

Melanie: Hey, yeah, I'm fine. I'm great.

Philip: I could tell. What's up?

Melanie: Chloe and my dad are having big problems. And I just feel like they should work everything out before they get married.

Philip: I know. If couples worked everything out before they got married, there'd be no weddings.

Melanie: I hate weddings.

Philip: [Sigh] Well, that's good to know.

Melanie: I like being married to you.

Philip: Mm. I like being married to you.

Melanie: You gotta admit, though, we didn't have the most ideal wedding. With me getting shot.

Philip: Yeah, you're right about that.

Melanie: But it's better now. Being married is great. Especially since we decided to put everything out on the table, like with Nathan, and just be honest about everything. But Chloe and my dad are-- I really think Chloe's hiding something from him.

Nicole: You are gonna be the most beautiful bride ever, and I am gonna make sure of it.

Chloe: Thanks.

Daniel: Are you okay?

Chloe: Yeah, you just caught me by surprise, that's all.

Brady: Not to second-guess you, Daniel, but maybe Chloe didn't really like having your wedding linked to this wedding.

Daniel: Yeah, you know what? I think you're right. And I'm sorry.

Chloe: Hey, it's okay. It's fine, everything's fine.

Bo: Is it me, or did Daniel just step in it?

Carly: Huh?

Bo: Well, he makes his big announcement, his daughter hightails it outta here, and Chloe looks like she's waiting for a root canal.

Carly: Oh, you know what, I think it just wasn't the right time and place.

Bo: Yeah. What a fun day this has been.

Carly: Yeah.

Bo: It's hard to imagine it getting any worse.

Ciara: I wonder why there's so many cars.

Hope: I don't know, sweetheart. But whatever it is, it's gonna be okay.

Ciara: Okay, Mommy.

Hope: Mm, that's my girl. Oh, I love you so much. Okay.

Bo: Congratulations. Have you guys set a date?

Daniel: As soon as we can.

Bo: I'm sure you're gonna be very happy.

Daniel: I'm sure we will be. Thank you.

Vivian: Darling, it's time.

Bo: If you're taking her up on the roof, I'm coming along.

Vivian: [Laughing] Witty family. Well, now I want all the ladies to follow me into the foyer, because it's time for me to throw the bouquet. Come on.

Nicole: That's me.

Bo: The bouquet, the bouquet.

Vivian: Now you just stand right over here. Leave everything to me. Well, I hope the next bride is as happy as I am at this moment. [Giggles]

Nathan: See, I don't wanna give up Johns Hopkins just to be with you.

Chloe: You're trying to ruin my life and Daniel's.

EJ: If she will have me, then I am Arianna's lawyer.
