Kate: I told you it doesn't really phase me that much. I mean, it's a big house, right?

Stefano: Yes, but still, I mean--

Kate: No, no, no buts. No buts. If Sami moving in here means that EJ and your grandchildren can be closer to you, then I'm willing to make that compromise.

Stefano: Mm. You know... [Chuckles] You say that you don't mind that Samantha is moving in here and all of that, but still, you know something, I noticed, lately, you've been a little edgy.

Kate: It has nothing to do with Sami.

Stefano: Ah. It's about your little encounter with Madeline?

Kate: How dare she threaten me. Tell me to keep will away from her precious son. Who the hell does she think she is?

Stefano: Katherine, please, huh? Just put the judge in the past where she belongs. I will take care of her, hmm?

Gabi: Hi.

Chad: Hey, Gabi.

Madeline: Gabi, lovely to see you.

Gabi: You too, Mrs. Woods.

Madeline: It's Peterson-Woods.

Gabi: Oh, I'm sorry. Um, you guys ready to order?

Madeline: Not quite yet, but I would love a diet whatever.

Chad: And, uh, I'll just have a root beer right now. Thanks.

Gabi: I'm on it.

Madeline: Sweet girl.

Chad: Yeah. She's nice.

Madeline: I remember you saying that you screwed things up with her. I believe those were your exact words. And you also said that it was because of Mia. I assume that's because Mia was still trying to get you back at that point.

Chad: Mom, you and Dad rarely have one nice word to say about any of my friends or the girls I'm dating. You hated Mia the second you laid eyes on her.

Madeline: I sensed that she was very troubled.

Chad: Okay, good point. But Will Horton?

Madeline: I'm sure that Will Horton is a lovely boy. But, Chad, I've told you that it's his relatives that I object to.

Chad: That's--that's just-- that's great. That's just fantastic. I mean, that seems fair, right? I shouldn't hang out with him because you don't like his family.

Madeline: Will Horton lives with Stefano and Kate DiMera. Why would I--why would any mother want their child to be exposed to those type of people?

Chad: So what, am I going to be contaminated somehow just by being in their house?

Madeline: I'm going to tell you this one last time. As long as Will Horton is living with Stefano and Kate DiMera, I want you to stay away from him.

Sami: EJ, I don't know what I was thinking saying I would live here.

EJ: Look, Samantha--

Sami: All right, I do know what I was thinking. I was thinking like a seven-year-old. "Oh, I'm not gonna let my family boss me around."

EJ: What's wrong with that, exactly?

Sami: I'm so busy not letting them tell me what to do that I didn't really even consider what it would be like to live here.

EJ: You mean the cook, the convenience, the nanny, the swimming pool?

Sami: Kate, Stefano. It's not gonna work, EJ. Not even for a couple days.

EJ: Samantha, I-I really don't understand why you've had the sudden change of heart. Everything was fine until I asked you if part of the reason that you moved in here was me.

Calliope: I did it. I made contact just like you said. And for the record, big shot, I don't like it. Not one bit.

Rafe: Well, that's too bad 'cause you're gonna help me catch Anna DiMera whether you like it or not.

Anna: Whoever heard of a masseur canceling? What else has he got to do on this god-forsaken... Calliope Jones. [Sighs] Just what I don't need. Honey, I think... I'm gonna have to nip our little reunion in the bud.

Calliope: I have known Anna DiMera for 20-some odd years, and I have never seen her like she was this morning.

Rafe: Mm-hmm. How was she?

Calliope: Well, her husband died, he wa--he was cut down in a sudden and tragic way. I mean, you know, she's lost him before, but this time it's real. She's got ashes. And--and he was the love of her life.

Rafe: Yeah. Ha. Please. She's working out her grief in a five-star spa. My heart bleeds.

Calliope: That is cold and mean. I never ever should've helped you.

Rafe: So don’t.

Calliope: Really?

Rafe: Sure. No problem.

Calliope: Who are you calling?

Rafe: The IRS.

Calliope: [Protests]

Rafe: Just gonna let them know our deal's off.

Calliope: You would do that? Tell them that Eugene got taken in by a rotten, scheming accountant? Like that's rare.

Rafe: Yeah, tell them that.

Calliope: Ah.

Rafe: Maybe it'll help. George. Rafe Hernandez here. Ha. I'm good, man. How are you? Well, I'm here with calliope Jones Bradford.

Calliope: Give me that. You are not a nice man. Good looking, yes, but not nice.

Rafe: You know, actually, it's your friend Anna DiMera who is not nice. Now, listen, I'm really sorry that you and your husband are in such unfortunate tax trouble. But the fact of the matter is someone's going down. So who's going under the bus? You and your husband... or Anna DiMera?

Calliope: [Sighs]

EJ: It is me, isn't it? I'm the reason that you don't want to be here.

Sami: Maybe it's a little bit you.

EJ: I thought so.

Sami: [Clears throat] Look...[Clears throat] I was really worried about you when you were hurt. And I was worried about Sydney, and Johnny, and what would happen to them. And just all of that, um, you know, I-I wasn't thinking straight.

EJ: Oh, I see.

Sami: And that's why I agreed to this ridiculous thing. Letting Stefano see his kids. And--and also 'cause I wanted to be with Will. I mean, I-I want that. But it's not gonna work, all right? And, um, and I have to get out of here.

EJ: Samantha. Samantha!

Kate: [Sighs] Must be in here somewhere. Aw, Philip at the high school prom...with Chloe by his side. Spare me. Ah, God, there is it. Why did I save this? You're right, Stefano. She needs to remain in the past.

Will: Grandma? What you looking at?

Madeline: Look, I-I wish that I could stay and talk this out, but I-I have to be in court in 10 minutes. We'll speak about this later. Okay?

Gabi: So you and your mom have a nice lunch?

Chad: Uh, um, no. No. Not--not really. No.

Gabi: Oh, I'm--I'm sorry. What happened?

Chad: She's just, uh, just very judgmental, that's all.

Gabi: Did she say anything bad about me?

Chad: No. No, no, no. She, uh, she actually thinks you're really nice. I'm, you know, I'm--I'm really sorry, I got to go, Gabi. Um, oh, and--and, Gabi... my mom, she, um, she might come back in here asking you if I hang out with Will. I'd appreciate it if you said no.

Gabi: Sure.

Chad: Thanks.

Arianna: Hi. Hey.

Gabi: Hey.

Arianna: Have you heard from Rafe?

Gabi: Not in a couple of days.

Arianna: Jerk.

Gabi: Can I get you anything?

Arianna: Well, let's see, um, my fiancé’s in the hospital, uh, my boss is a bitch, um, and I have no idea where my brother is. What do you have that'll fix that?

EJ: Can you just wait? Please. Please.

Sami: I've told the nanny to get the kids packed up. I'll be back for them in an hour, okay?

EJ: Look, we were doing really well in your place, okay? Why is this suddenly falling apart?

Sami: The kids loved having you. It's not that. It--this place, EJ, it is filled with really, really bad memories for me.

EJ: Okay, but you knew that going in, Samantha. You prepared for that. This is something else. There is something that you are not telling me. And I wish you would. Because whatever it is, I can help you deal with it.

Sami: You really mean that, don't you?

EJ: Well, of course, I do.

Sami: Look, EJ, just spend time with your kids, 'cause I'm going to be back for them soon.

Calliope: I don't even know what I'm supposed to do.

Rafe: She's got something on her conscience. Now, my guess is it's getting hard to live with. You're her old friend. You just get her to open up to you.

Calliope: Don't you think it would help if I knew what that thing is that's on her conscience?

Rafe: All right, look, would you listen to me?

Calliope: Oh.

Rafe: I'm not playing games with you. It's just, if you do get her to open up, I want your reactions to be genuine. She's not stupid. She'll know if you're faking.

Calliope: She's already suspicious.

Rafe: What?

Calliope: Yeah. Yeah. She knows I'm not the spa time. I mean, I do my own waxing. She's not buying it. Oh.

Rafe: Okay, good to know. If that's the case, then we need to act fast.

Calliope: Ye of little faith.

Rafe: What?

Calliope: I happen to know she is getting a two-hour stone massage. Something you could get me, by the way. And she's going to be there for quite some time.

Rafe: Okay.

Calliope: Okay.

Rafe: Yeah.

Calliope: Yeah.

Anna: Yes, I'd like to arrange for a charter flight. Well, I have an emergency. I need to get off of this island as soon as possible.

Kate: Oh, photos. You know, um, it's so funny, I was looking at Sydney today and she has this little expression she does--this smile that reminded me of you so much when you were a baby. So I broke out the photo albums.

Will: So Sydney, Johnny, Mom, they all moved in.

Kate: Yeah.

Will: At least this place is big. And maybe I won't have to run into mom or EJ very much.

Kate: Honey, she was already looking for you.

[Cell phone rings] Oh.

Will: Great.

Kate: Sorry.

Will: Yeah.

Kate: Hold on a sec. Yeah. Kate Roberts. You should've received it already. I messengered it overnight. Well, that's ridiculous. Hold on. Hold on. I'm gonna get the receipt.

Gabi: Is there something wrong with Rafe?

Arianna: Other than dropping off the face of the universe and not telling us where he is, oh, no, he's just fantastic. I'm sorry. I got cramps, all right? I'm tired. Really tired.

Gabi: Hey, what are you doing back there?

Arianna: Looking for this.

Gabi: Midol.

Arianna: Yeah. I got to tell you, running between work and the hospital, I don't have time to go to the drugstore. So what do I do? Keep a box of this right here for emergencies. It relieves the cramps. Relieves the bloating. Yeah. I'm gonna be, uh, back to normal before we know it. Definitely back to normal.

Gabi: I can't wait. I would like my sister back.

[Cell phone vibrating]

Arianna: Excuse me. Look at that. May happen sooner than you think.

Gabi: Why? What happened?

Arianna: It's Rafe. Left me a message.

Calliope: This thing itches.

Rafe: Well, don't scratch it. Remember, this camera's got to stay lined up with the button in your blouse or I'm not gonna be able to see a damn thing.

Calliope: Ow.

Rafe: Don't let Anna walk too far away from you, otherwise I'm not gonna be able to hear what she says, okay?

Calliope: Yes, sir.

Rafe: Just talk to her about your tax problems. Remember those?

Calliope: Yeah. Uh-huh.

Rafe: Yeah. She'll probably want to talk to you about her own.

Stefano: Ah, there you are. Your son just massacred me in a game of go fish.

EJ: Yeah, I think I, uh, told him that we always let you win that one.

Stefano: What's wrong with you? Why are you like this?

EJ: Your wife could not even wait 30 minutes before she started needling Samantha.

Stefano: I've already talked to Katherine about that.

EJ: It doesn't matter. Samantha's decided that she'd be crazy to stay here with her children. She's moving out.

Stefano: So change her mind.

EJ: I tried to. She left anyway.

Stefano: Oh, she'll be back. [Exhales]

EJ: You seem very sure of yourself.

Stefano: [Exhales]

EJ: What have you done?

Stefano: "What have I done?" Mm. I've tried to make you happy.

EJ: Do you know what would make me happy? Let me tell you. Being in Samantha’s house with Samantha and the children. That would make me very happy.

Stefano: But that would not make me happy. See? And when I am not happy--ah--then things happen. Like Samantha, like Anna, etc.

EJ: Okay, all right, all right, all right! Thank you. I get it. You made your point.

Stefano: Relax, huh? Samantha will be back. And Hernandez will be chasing his tail trying to find Anna thanks to me.

EJ: I wouldn't be too self-satisfied if I were you. Because if you make a fool out of Rafe, he is going to look harder, Father. And if he finds her, and if she talks, you and I are gonna lose Johnny and Sydney. And I'm gonna lose Samantha to Rafe.

[Cell phone rings]

Rafe: Hey.

Arianna: Oh, my God, you finally answered the phone. Where have you been?

Rafe: Tell me how Brady’s doing.

Arianna: G--he's fine.

Rafe: Good. Listen, I can't talk right now.

Arianna: Okay. Did you get a lead on Anna DiMera?

Rafe: Well, I thought I did, but it didn't pan out.

Arianna: Well, you're not gonna give up, right?

Rafe: No. Sami's got a right to know who took that baby. And that person is going to pay for putting Sami and Sydney through hell.

Arianna: And if you're the one who catches that person, it's gonna change everything for you and Sami. You do know this, right?

Kate: Oh, no. [Exhales] [Breathes deeply]

Stefano: What are you looking for, Katherine?

Kate: You remember when we were talking before? I remembered that there was a photo of Madeline and me together in a--in a photo album.

Stefano: Ooh. That's not good.

Kate: I know it's not good. That's why I was searching for it. I was gonna tear it up. And then will came in and I-- I-I put it under some papers. And now the papers and the photo are gone.

Stefano: You know, it's--it's the new maid. You know, she throws everything away. You--you--can you believe it, she throws the rest of the newspaper away while I'm still reading the business section.

Kate: I hope you're right.

Stefano: Madeline. She's still weighing on your mind.

Kate: And she should be weighing on yours because she can undo us both. And you know that.

Will: Well, you were right. Reading Plessey V. Ferguson made it a lot easier to understand Brown V. Board of Education.

Chad: Yeah, well, Kinsey says we're gonna kill it with this report. Uh, you know, by the way, do you have a copy of the decision? I can't seem to find mine.

Will: Yeah, it's right, um, ah, crap.

Chad: What's that?

Will: Uh, some old picture my grandma was looking at. She said it was of me, but obviously it's of her and some lady.

Chad: It's no lady. It's my mom.

Arianna: You're not gonna give up, right? Not if you want it to work out with you and Sami.

Rafe: Well, there's no easy answer for the two of us.

Arianna: Yes, there is. Be the one that catches Sydney’s kidnapper.

Rafe: [Chuckles] It's, um, pretty complicated. Listen, I gotta go.

Calliope: Anna. Anna, where are you?

Kate: I don't know how I could be so careless.

Stefano: [Sighs] You have to stop worrying about this.

Kate: What if the photo falls into the wrong person's hands?

Stefano: How many times have I told you? I will handle it.

Kate: I don't know if you can.

EJ: Problem?

Kate: Yes. I was just telling your father that the new maid isn't working out.

EJ: Well, what's wrong with her?

Kate: She doesn't vacuum under furniture.

EJ: Really? Well, that's a problem, isn't it?

Kate: I think I'll speak to her. It requires a woman's touch.

EJ: Mm. Yes, I'm sure. So, uh... [Clears throat] The children are ready upstairs if you want to go and say good-bye to them.

Stefano: Won't be necessary.

Sami: [Groans]

EJ: Oh, Samantha, sorry. The--Johnny and Sydney, they're upstairs. They're ready for you. Bags are packed.

Sami: Too bad. We're not going anywhere.

EJ: What do you mean you're not going anywhere?

Sami: I'm not taking them back to the townhouse.

Gabi: [Exhales] So I'm off work.

Arianna: Oh, great.

Gabi: Are you still scary?

Arianna: I'm feeling better. Thank you.

Gabi: So what did Rafe say?

Arianna: Well, he really couldn't say much. But...I think he's close to finding out who kidnapped Sydney.

Gabi: He's still working on that?

Arianna: Oh, yeah.

Gabi: But he and Sami broke up. Wouldn't they give it to another agent?

Arianna: Look, Rafe is really stubborn. He's gonna solve this case.

Gabi: And then he'll be Sami’s hero, right?

Arianna: Yeah.

Gabi: Guess you'll both have somebody who loves you very much.

Arianna: You will too. I promise.

Will: They're both smiling and looking like they're--

Chad: Friends? Which is weird, because my mom is tripping out about me hanging out with Kate DiMera’s grandson.

Will: And this picture makes it look like they used to party together.

Chad: You know, sometimes I don't get my mom at all. I don't know what her problem is.

Will: Well, compared to my mom, she is a saint.

EJ: What do you mean you're not going back to the townhouse?

Sami: Well, it'd be sort of impossible given that the living room is under four inches of water.

EJ: What?

Sami: Yeah. A pipe burst.

EJ: Really?

Stefano: Sorry, Samantha, but you and your children can stay here as long as you like, you know.

Sami: He was kidding, right? I'm gonna stay at a hotel.

EJ: Why would you do that? Look, just think about this for a second, Samantha, okay? You need to talk to an insurance company, then you need to find a contractor. This whole situation could take months. Do you really want to stay in a hotel with the kids for months when they could have the run of this place?

Sami: All right, maybe a hotel is not a good idea. I'll stay with my dad or my grandma.

EJ: Really? So you can hear "I told you so" for the next however long it takes? Look, I... actually have an alternative.

Sami: There are no alternatives, EJ.

EJ: Oh, I don't know about that. I think I have one. So you and the children, uh, you move in here.

Sami: [Scoffs]

EJ: And--and we... find as many ways as we can to make Kate’s life miserable.

Sami: Gee, I never thought of that.

EJ: Mm.

Sami: What'd you have in mind?

EJ: Well, I think between the two of us, there are limitless possibilities.

Sami: I don't know. It's very petty. And vindictive.

EJ: Mm. Very.

Sami: It's wrong.

EJ: Terribly wrong.

Sami: I can't even finish it with a straight face. It sounds very appealing.

EJ: Good. Besides which, you know, if you leave, then, uh, the only thing Kate’s gonna do is sink her teeth into will.

Sami: I'm in.

EJ: Me too.

Calliope: She's not here.

Rafe: Just stop running your mouth and check with the front desk. See if she showed up for that massage.

Calliope: Hey, big shot, it looks like your little pigeon flew the coop.

Rafe: Just shut up, okay? Do what I say.

Calliope: You still better help me with my tax problems.

Anna: Hi. Hey.

Calliope: Ah.

Anna: Who you talking to?

Calliope: Nnn...

Rafe: Great.

Madeline: This better be important. I have to get right back to the courthouse.

Chad: Oh, it's important, all right. I saw a picture of you and Kate DiMera.

Madeline: You what?

Chad: You heard me.

Madeline: From when? Where? Who--who showed this to you?

Chad: Why does it matter?

Madeline: Obviously, it was Will Horton.

Chad: Will Horton and I go to the same school and we're in the same study group. I don't see him, I don't get those A's you and Dad want so bad. By the way, I wasn't partying with him like you were with Kate DiMera.

Madeline: What? We weren't partying.

Chad: No? No? Then--then what were you doing smiling and all friendly?

Madeline: I was a lawyer on a deal that involved Kate’s company. There was a dinner when the contract was signed. And we were all smiling because we were happy at the outcome, not because we were partying. That's a ridiculous assumption.

Chad: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Then most of what I say is ridiculous, right?

Madeline: Stop feeling sorry for yourself.

Chad: How about you stop treating me like a two-year-old?

Madeline: Anything else?

Chad: No.

Madeline: I'll see you at home. Kate, Madeline.

Kate: What do you want?

Madeline: We need to meet.

Kate: I don't have the time.

Madeline: Well, if you want to keep your life as you know it from going down the drain, I suggest you make the time.

Kate: [Sighs]

EJ: And--and you do know that we have dungeons.

Sami: Oh, don't tease me.

EJ: Several of them.

Sami: She's--

Will: Grandma. Where is she?

Sami: Uh, I don't know where Kate is.

Will: Okay, well, I have to find her.

Sami: You know what, will, no, no, no, I-I need to talk to you about something.

Will: I don't have anything to say to you.

Sami: Well, then I'll do all the talking.

Will: Ooh, boy.

EJ: I'll, um, I'll go and take care of, uh, Sydney and Johnny.

Sami: Great. I'm gonna be living here now. So you can't just leave the room every time you find me in it.

Will: It's a big house.

Sami: I miss you. I miss hearing you laugh when you're on the phone with your friends. I miss...your pigsty of a bedroom. I miss yelling at you when I catch you drinking milk right out of the carton.

Will: You must miss EJ more because, um, when I said that it was him or me, you picked him.

Sami: I didn't pick EJ over you. Will, I am not going to let you dictate to me the decisions I make in my life.

Will: Wh--I don't--what is the difference?

Sami: You have a problem with EJ staying with us for a little bit, but you don't have a problem moving in here with him.

Will: Well, Dad is running around Asia with Allie. Grandma's always taking care of Sydney and Johnny. Where else was I supposed to go?

Calliope: Ha. You caught me.

Anna: Well, who were you talking to?

Calliope: Myself. Ha. Yeah.

Anna: [Chuckles]

Calliope: I was wondering where you were. I was afraid you took off on me.

Anna: No, not a chance. I couldn't get off this island if I tried.

Calliope: Well, I'm glad 'cause we really didn't get a chance to talk. And we used to really love talking, you and me, didn't we?

Anna: Yes. Having you to share my troubles with. Especially when Tony and I were on the outs. I have missed that.

Calliope: Yeah. And--and we both have our problems. I mean, I have the IRS breathing down my neck and you have that problem that you were going to tell me about, but you didn't get a chance to tell me about, but you want to tell me about.

Rafe: You're pushing her too hard.

Calliope: I've got nothing but time. So if you wanted to tell me the whole story--

Anna: Calliope, why are you being so nosy about that?

Calliope: [Groans] Uh...

Sami: You wanted to hurt me and you knew the best way to do it would be to pick Kate. And it worked.

Will: Well, you hurt me too. So...

Sami: And I know that I did. And I'm sorry. I know I've been so busy with Sydney and everything that happened that--

Will: That's not it!

Sami: Then tell me what it is.

Will: You know what it is! It's EJ. You dumped Rafe because of him.

Sami: I didn't dump--

Will: You blew it, Mom! And you didn't just blow it for yourself. You blew it for all of us too. We could've been a family. But you didn't even care about that. Now you're living in this house with EJ. And the next thing I know, you--you're gonna be pregnant with another one of his kids.

Sami: Okay, don't talk to me like that!

Will: [Exhales]

Sami: Will, you love your grandma. You love your grandma Kate no matter what she has done or what your father and I have said about her over the years. Because she's your grandma, right? EJ is Johnny and Sydney’s dad. That is never gonna change. And they love him. They love him no matter what. And I can't stand in the way of it. That's not right, okay? I have to back them up. Can you understand that?

Will: No.

Gabi: Hi.

Chad: Oh, hey, Gabi.

Gabi: Something wrong?

Chad: Why?

Gabi: Just seems like something's wrong.

Chad: You ever noticed how parents can have one set of rules for you and a whole other set of rules for themselves?

Gabi: No, sorry. [Chuckles]

Chad: [Chuckles] I told you my mom doesn't want me hanging out with will, right?

Gabi: Yeah.

Chad: It's because she doesn't like his grandmother and the guy she's married to.

Gabi: Okay.

Chad: Will found this old photo of Kate and my mom together. Standing next to each other smiling like--like they were friends or something.

Gabi: I don't get it. What difference does it make?

Chad: "What difference does it make?" Oh, come on, Gabi, I've been practically forbidden to hang out with will because he's living with Stefano and Kate DiMera. Now if Kate and my mom were once actually friends, I mean, doesn't that mean there could be more to it than her just not wanting me around the family?

Gabi: I guess.

Chad: Yeah, well, it affects my life, so I need to know. And I will. Gotta find out what the hell is going on with that picture.

Madeline: [Sighs]

Kate: All right, I'm here. What do you want, Maddie?

Madeline: Don't call me Maddie. What the hell are you doing giving a picture of the two of us to your grandson?

EJ: Hey.

Sami: How are the kids?

EJ: They're really good. Um, Sydney’s asleep and, uh, Johnny’s playing with the new nanny.

Sami: She seems really nice.

EJ: Yeah, she is.

Sami: She's probably way more qualified to raise children than I am. Heh.

EJ: Okay. I take it things didn't go so well with Will.

Sami: That's definitely an understatement. I had him when I was really young and, um... it's not a joke to say that we grew up together. And right now it feels like... it just...feels like someone cut off my right arm because... because I really am afraid that I've lost him. [Crying] Um, EJ, uh, look, if I'm going to stay here, then we have to set some ground rules. Everyone has to understand that I am here for Will and--and Johnny and Sydney.

EJ: Yeah.

Sami: I don't want Kate or--or your father or anyone to think that it's for any other reason.

EJ: Of course.

Sami: Okay. 'Cause this is just a temporary situation. And as soon as my place is fixed, I'm out of here.

EJ: Look, I understand all of that, Samantha, but, uh, I also think that I know the real reason that you're so anxious to leave.

Sami: [Laughs nervously]

Anna: I just think you're being kind of pushy, that's all.

Calliope: I'm sorry.

Anna: Well, I don't nag you about the details of your tax problems, do I?

Calliope: No. But that's because taxes are boring. You had an adventure and adventures are exciting.

Anna: Not this one. This is something you wouldn't want to have any part of.

Calliope: Well, maybe it would feel better to get it off your chest. You look upset.

Anna: I'm a little more than upset. I'm scared.

Calliope: You don't have to be. I'm here now. You can tell me anything.

Kate: I took the photo out of the album so I could tear it up and get rid of it.

Madeline: So then how did Will get his hands on it?

Kate: Because he walked in on me before I could do it. So I hid it under some papers. And they happened to be his school stuff.

Madeline: Oh, that's just great. Just great.

Kate: What did you tell Chad?

Madeline: I told him that I was a lawyer on a deal that your company was involved in.

Kate: Oh--oh, that's perfect. That's a great save. Now how do I explain to will that I saved a photo of us at a business dinner?

Madeline: I don't know. But you better make it good. Because trust me, if this blows up, it's gonna be far worse for you and Stefano than it is for me.

Kate: Heh.

Sami: You know? You know what?

EJ: I know you're still in love with Rafe, Samantha. And I think that you feel that moving in here is betraying him despite the fact that he was the one--

Sami: No, EJ, stop. It's not about Rafe.

EJ: It's not about Rafe. Well, then, all right, fine. Then--then what is it about?

Sami: I told you. I've told you a million times.

EJ: I understand that, Samantha. But you keep putting up all of these walls that did not use to be there. And I don't understand why. Why?

Sami: It's because you kissed me.

Calliope: I really do think you'll feel better if you talk about it. I mean, who am I gonna tell? You barely listen to me as it is.

Rafe: Good girl.

Anna: Okay. I guess I'll tell you everything.

Melanie: He deserves to know the truth.

Rafe: We got her right where we want her.

Sami: So you know why you kissed me?
