Roman: Okay. So...it was Sami who told you EJ was attacked.
Hope: Thanks a lot.
Officer: DiMera wasn't in any condition to tell anybody anything.
Hope: I just got off the phone with the hospital. EJ's stable now. I'll take his statement myself.
Roman: Okay. All right, thanks, officer.
Roman: I cannot believe we had another one of these muggings right after Abe went on TV and promised people there wouldn't be anymore. Getting a lot of phone calls from a lot of angry folks. I want this case solved.
Hope: Mm. Not as much as I do.
Nicole: You can run, but you cannot hide. Well, you can try, but I'll get you anyway.
Baker: I know that voice. Must have been a bad dream.
Nicole: I'm Nicole DiMera...
Baker: Oh, my God.
Nicole: And I don't take "no comment" for an answer.
Baker: It's not a dream.
Nicole: If you want tomorrow's headlines today...
Baker: Stop talking!
[TV shuts off]
Baker: That's better. Nicole DiMera... is a TV reporter? That's like Paris Hilton being a life coach. [Sighs] Think about that later. [Sighs] Rather focus on the fact that my slush fund in the Caymans is no longer anemic. Bless you, EJ DiMera.
Nicole: Oh. Good. You're learning. I hope there's enough foam in it this time.
Arianna: I hate foam!
Nicole: That's not for me?
Arianna: [Gasps] Oh! You want coffee? Right there. Knock yourself out.
Nicole: [Chuckles] Anyway...I made a list of items that I wanna cover, so as soon as I go over all of it with Philip, I'll let you know where you need to be.
Arianna: Okay, reason I'm here, uh, Frank called...with your next assignment.
Arianna: News director? You remember him?
Nicole: [Laughing] The zoo?
Arianna: Yeah. Apparently, it's alternative fuels day here in Salem. I mean, who knew? Anyway, Frank thought that it would be kind of a cute bit to see you shoveling in the elephant's cage. Hope you got your boots!
Nicole: Yeah, honey, uh... tell Frank to forget it.
Arianna: He's pretty fired up.
Nicole: I don't care.
[Cell phones ring]
Arianna: EJ was attacked last night.
Nicole: Oh... and who better to get his story than his ex-wife?
Lexie: How you feeling?
EJ: I'd feel a lot better if I could figure out who did this to me.
Lexie: Yeah, well, retrograde amnesia often accompanies a head injury like yours.
EJ: Well...somebody did this. I'm gonna find out who it is, and when I find them... they're going to pay.
Chad: What's up? Those look like the keys to your car.
Madeline: Yes. Give me your hand.
Chad: What are you doing?
Madeline: Well, how can you expect to raise your grades if you can't get to the library or study group?
Chad: [Snickers] What, are you kidding?
Chad: Dad's not gonna like this. 'Cause that, uh, walking builds character.
Madeline: And that's why we're not gonna tell him.
Chad: This is awesome. Thank you.
[Cell phone rings]
Chad: Hang on one sec. This could be about study group.
Chad: Mia, hey.
Mia: Hey, uh, Kinsey asked me to call everyone 'cause she's way too important to do it herself. Study group's not going to be at her house. Her mom's having a Botox party.
Chad: So where do I go?
Mia: Um, Will's grandfather's house?
Chad: [Chuckles] Get out. What, we're having the study group at Stefano DiMeraís house?
Mia: You are. I'm stuck here working late. Maybe I'll see you later?
Chad: I doubt it.
Madeline: The study group is going to be at the DiMera home?
Chad: Uh, yeah, I guess so.
Chad: What? I just--you just gave them to me.
Madeline: Chad, I told you that I don't want you getting anywhere near the DiMeras.
Chad: Mom, why do you freak out every time you hear their name?
Hope: Hey, how's Kimber?
Roman: Well... Bo says everybody's helpful.
Hope: That's good. That's really good.
Roman: You haven't talked to him?
Hope: Uh, no.
Roman: I'm sorry about that.
Hope: Me too.
Roman: Okay. Talk to you later.
Hope: Bye. Okay... oh! Oh, God. Oh...
Hope: Hey, Julie, hi.
Julie: What are you doing?
Hope: I'm working.
Julie: You're also picking pills off the floor. Are you all right?
Lexie: I suppose it never occurred to you not to go all Sonny Corleone on this. Although Father's already gone there.
Lexie: With any luck, Hope will find this person before either of you do.
EJ: [Chuckling] Hope Brady. Oh, I feel so much better.
Lexie: Well, Hope may not be your biggest fan, but this goon has already attacked Abe, the D.A., Justin Kiriakis. Hope's already called here. She wants to talk to you. Now, if you hold out on her, EJ--
EJ: Hold out on her. Lexie, the only thing I remember is a passing blur.
Lexie: A blur's better than nothing. Which is what my husband remembers.
EJ: Look, I-I vaguely have some sense that I know who this person is. But when I try and think about it, I just--I remember this excruciating pain, then bang-- everything just goes black. Is my...memory gonna come back at all when this concussion heals?
Lexie: It's possible.
EJ: It's possible? That's great. I mean, I feel like this name is just hanging in space somewhere, and I can't get my hand around it.
Lexie: Okay, look. If the person you saw is the person who's doing all these muggings, then they just made their first big mistake.
EJ: Of course it's the same person. This person would have had to have heard me being mugged. They didn't come to help me? Of course they're involved.
Lexie: Unless he's the type of person who doesn't like to get involved.
EJ: Well, then, he better pray that I don't remember who he is, Lexie, 'cause he's involved. Whether he likes it or not, he's involved.
Baker: Okay, so here's what we do. First... [Exhales] We double this lousy 500, and then we buy this girl a drink-- several drinks--to celebrate. Once I find out where she is and who she is. Piece of cake.
Hope: Oh, I've been having some trouble sleeping.
Julie: Oh. Surprise, surprise.
Hope: Yeah, right? Anyway, my doctor gave me this prescription, and it seems to help.
Julie: You can't take those pills--not now. They've been on this floor.
Hope: Julie, no, it's okay.
Julie: This place is not exactly pristine, darling.
Hope: It's okay. Don't worry about it. My doctor will just call in another prescription for me. And don't get started--they're not addictive.
Julie: Oh, all sleeping pills are addictive.
Hope: No, that's not true.
Julie: If not physically, then psychologically. I have this friend...that she tried to get off whatever prescription it was her doctor had given her. She had a very, very hard time.
Hope: All right, well, first of all, I'm not your friend, and second of all, I am not dependent.
Julie: How do you know that?
Julie: How long have you been taking this stuff?
Hope: Not very long. Not that long.
Julie: You never used to have insomnia before.
Hope: Okay, Julie, please.
Julie: Well... it's an observation.
Hope: Okay, fine, but you know what? It's a pointless one. Okay, so I have insomnia and I didn't have insomnia before. You just said that you weren't surprised that I was having trouble sleeping--did you not just say that?
Julie: I said it. I just wish that you would-- I wish that you would try to find another way to solve your problem. You know, warm baths, soft music. Making sure you don't get on the computer just at bedtime?
Hope: Julie...[Laughs] I have tried all of those things, and none of them have worked. I lie in bed at night staring up at the ceiling for countless hours. I toss back and forth, become anxious and frustrated. You know what, when I wake up in the morning, I am so completely exhausted, I'm useless. And forget about focusing, and I cannot afford to be like that. I have a child to care for and a job to do.
Julie: Okay, okay, I get the point--it's rough when you can't sleep. Have you read the warning label?
Hope: Oh, my God, you're like a dog with a bone. You're not gonna let this go, are you? Please... I'm changing the subject right now. Because I wanna tell you and Daddy how grateful I am for taking Ciara last night. Please, just let the pills go and the insomnia--please, Julie.
Julie: Fine. You don't have to be grateful to Doug and me for the time that we spend with your daughter. That girl is a little piece of heaven. We should be thanking you. What? Why do I get the eyebrow?
Hope: We're having, um... some problems, Ciara and I.
Julie: What's wrong?
Hope: She was caught stealing at school.
Julie: [Gasps] Oh...no.
Hope: I know. Oh, and if she tells you that Justinís gonna be her new daddy, I didn't say it, okay?
Julie: Is there a chance of it?
Julie: Well, you know, little people are like little sponges. They sop up the emotions around them.
Hope: Are you saying that I'm the problem?
Julie: Uh, yes. Yes, I guess I am.
Arianna: There's no way management's gonna let you interview your ex-husband.
Nicole: Are you kidding? The crime lord and the baby switcher? That's appointment viewing, gumdrop.
Arianna: Not to him. EJ's not even gonna let you in the room either.
Nicole: Really? And how do you know what EJ will do?
Arianna: I actually spent a little time with him when Sydney was missing. He even offered me a job.
Nicole: [Chuckles] I just bet he did. Your drug-dealing background will come in handy at DiMera Enterprises. And, you know, EJ just adores the shady type.
Arianna: Totally. I mean, look who he married.
Nicole: Anyway, now that you're, uh, EJ's soul mate, why don't you go in there and convince him that it would be in his best interests.
Arianna: Absolutely not.
Nicole: No? Okay, fine. Then I'll just tell Frank that you would rather not help us get the story that will win our time slot.
Arianna: I'll get the car.
Nicole: I thought you'd say that. Oh, EJ... you so owe me this.
Hope: Well, if you're trying to cheer me up, you're doing a bang-up job.
Julie: I'm sorry.
Hope: Julie, you know what? Bo's shacking up with Carly in our home. I don't think I'm Ciaraís only problem here.
Julie: Neither do I, but when a wonderful child like Ciara starts getting in trouble at school...and fighting with the mother she adores, it's her way of saying things are not right with her world. This is the voice of experience speaking here.
Hope: I know.
Julie: I've told you, when I was a teenager, I tried shoplifting--
Julie: Shoplifting...hoping my parents would find out... 'cause I wanted their attention.
Hope: She has my attention. She always has my attention. I tell her all the time there is nothing she can't tell me. As long as it's the truth.
Julie: How much of you does she see--an hour, two hours? When you're exhausted? Maybe this is something that she can't easily say.
Hope: What do I do? I am...so completely overwhelmed. What do I do?
Julie: You put your daughter first...or you could regret this, Hope, for the rest of your life.
Nicole: EJ is down that hall to the right.
Arianna: How do you know?
Nicole: I have my sources. Look, I'm gonna go over my notes while you go get EJ on board, okay?
Arianna: Have I said how much I don't want to do this?
Nicole: Have I said that Frank thinks I'm a genius for coming up with it? You still wanna back out?
Lexie: You've got a hell of a nerve showing up here.
Arianna: Hi. You up for a visitor?
EJ: Sure...if the visitor's you. Come in.
Arianna: [Sighs] So you were mugged, huh? Like you needed something else to go wrong?
EJ: [Chuckles] It's okay. I'm fine.
Arianna: That's good. I didn't really get any information, so...
EJ: It's very sweet of you to come and visit me.
Arianna: No, it's not.
EJ: What do you mean?
Arianna: When you find out why I'm here, you're probably gonna get out of that bed and throw me out.
Kate: So...who's coming over?
Will: Mm...the usual suspects. Kinsey, T...
Kate: Miss Mia?
Will: She said she had to work late.
Kate: Aw, that's too bad.
Kate: What? She was two-timing you. She's dead to me. I already had the wake and the funeral.
Will: That's like a metaphor, right?
Kate: Don't be silly. All right, so who else is coming?
Will: Ahh. The guy she was two-timing me with... Chad Woods.
Kate: Woods? As in D.A. Woods, as in Judge Peterson Woods? That Chad Woods?
Will: Yes. He didn't know what Mia was doing, though, so don't go off the deep end.
Kate: I'm not going off the deep end.
Will: Why'd you have that look when you asked who his Mom and Dad were?
Kate: I don't have a problem with Chad Woods. But I do have a problem with his parents.
Madeline: I don't think it's freaking out to say that I wish that my son's study group didn't meet at a mob boss's house.
Chad: Nothing's gonna happen. I hear they have bullet-proof glass in all the windows.
Madeline: Stefano DiMera is not some cute little gangster in a funny movie. The RICO act was put into law because of guys like him.
Chad: So what am I supposed to do? Will's living there now, and he's the one that's supposed to have the study group.
Madeline: I really don't like this, honey.
Chad: Mom...that day you saw Kate DiMera, you acted so weird. And you never explained why. And now you're having this great, big huge reaction to my going to her house. Now, does this have something to do with Stefano DiMeraís reputation, or do you have something...personal against his wife?
Baker: Bernie! My old buddy! Sit down, let me buy ya a drink.
Bernie: I'm on the wagon. So I'll just settle for you paying me the money you owe me.
Hope: Okay, so... tell me exactly what you think I should do.
Julie: Have you considered taking a leave of absence?
Hope: I have. But then I decided that it would be sending the wrong message.
Julie: To whom?
Hope: To Ciara. When Bo and I separated, I promised her that everything was gonna be okay. So how would it look to her if she... she sees that I can't manage both her and my job?
Julie: Darling, you cannot make things the way they used to be. You are no longer living with her father. She isn't in the same house. Everything in her world has changed.
Hope: I havenít. I'm still the same. I still get her off to school in the morning, I make her lunch, I... she comes home, we talk about our day. Nothing's changed. It's just like...[Sighs] Just like we always are.
Julie: Is Justin a part of that? Is he sitting there? Is this the reason that Ciara says you're thinking of him to be her new daddy?
Hope: He's been very sweet with her, and she really likes him a lot. In fact, he's been a big help, but no. I'm not involved with him.
Julie: Maybe Ciara wishes you were. And I think I know why.
Nicole: I am here because the people of Salem have the right to be informed when there is a threat to their community.
Lexie: Oh, so you're all about citizens' rights now. Is that why you took off with a baby that wasn't yours?
Nicole: Ha. You know, I just love when people like you point the finger at people like me.
Lexie: Look, if you're talking about Brandon--
Nicole: You took Abeís son to bed to get back at Abe...so get off your high horse. At least what I'm doing isn't behind someone's back.
Arianna: So... how's the food in here?
EJ: It's terrible.
EJ: Now why don't you explain why you think I'm going to kick you out.
Arianna: Okay. I am now working for Titan TV.
EJ: Mm-hmm. Doing what?
Arianna: I'm a production assistant, and I am here with the reporter that I have been assigned to.
EJ: And he would like to interview me, right?
Arianna: Sort of.
EJ: I don't see why that would have you think that I would kick you out of the room.
Arianna: Uh...no. No, no, no.
EJ: Look, Arianna, if he wants a statement...I would be happy to give him one.
Arianna: Okay, look. It's not a he. It's a she. It's Nicole.
Arianna: You wanna throw me out now?
Will: What did Chadís parents do to you?
Kate: [Sighs] The D.A. tried to convince the world that I poisoned Chloe.
Will: Didn't work.
Kate: Because there wasn't a shred of evidence--that's why. But the fact is the D.A. And his self-righteous wife will still try to get me. And now that I'm married to Stefano, well... we need to stick together.
Will: We? I'm not a...DiMera.
Kate: You're my flesh and blood. People like the D.A. and his wife, they love to go after powerful people like Stefano and me. That's just the way it is. Someday, you're going to understand that.
Will: Well, you act as though Chadís parents could come after me.
Kate: I wouldn't rule it out.
Madeline: It's not just Kate DiMera. It's all of them. And, yes, my feeling about them is personal. Your father, for all of his flaws, believes in the rule of law, and so do I. But the DiMeras, they want to make up their own laws. And I don't like the idea of it getting around that you've been spending time at their house.
Chad: Because it would be bad for you and dad politically.
Madeline: We are officers of the court. It's our job to protect the people of Salem from the DiMeras. If it gets around that we've been allowing you to associate--
Chad: Will's my friend, okay, not them.
Madeline: Any known association with the DiMeras could threaten to destroy everything that we have worked so hard to accomplish. Now, certainly this study group can meet somewhere else.
Chad: Okay, fine. Hey, Will, listen, um, is there any possible chance we could have the study group at some other place?
Chad: Well, I'm not gonna lie, man. My mom's pretty upset about me coming over there.
Will: Oh, she thinks you're too good to come to my grandma's house?
Chad: No. It's just that my mom is, uh...
Will: No--never mind. We'll do it at Java.
Chad: You satisfied?
Madeline: Thank you.
Chad: Look, I just...gotta get going, so...
Madeline: Hey. Hug. I know you're angry. But you'll get over it. The DiMeras can ruin everything, even after all these years.
Julie: This thing about Ciara saying that you want Justin to be her new daddy... it could be her way of saying you need a man in your life.
Julie: It's what she's used to.
Hope: No. She's used to Bo. And you know what? I pride myself on being independent, Julie.
Julie: Yeah. Independent women get lonely too. So again I ask... is it possible there could be something between you and Justin?
Hope: Honestly, I can't even think about that right now. I'm not ready to. I need to get back to work, though. I really do.
Julie: Okay. Hey, did you leave permission at school for Doug and I to pick up--
Hope: I did, yeah, I did. I left, um, a note in the office. But please...if Ciara says anything to you and Daddy, anything that would give me some insight to what's going on with her, please let me know.
Julie: Of course! You will be the first to know.
Hope: Thank you.
Julie: And if you ever need what you call backup... we're just a phone call away. I love you.
Hope: I love you.
Julie: Oh, good.
Hope: Thank you. Kiss Daddy for me.
Julie: You know it. Bye.
Baker: Bernie, I had every intention of getting in touch with you. I've...been out of town.
Bernie: They don't have phones out of town? You see... when people owe me money and they don't call or write... I begin to lose faith in my fellow man. When that happens... I cannot be responsible for my actions. If you get my drift.
Chad: Mia. Hey.
Mia: Thought you said I wouldn't see you today.
Chad: Well, study group got moved...again.
Will: Wanna get started?
Chad: What about T and Kinsey?
Will: Left 'em both messages.
Mia: Well, this is great. Even if T and Kinsey can't make it, there'll be the three of us.
EJ: I see. So you won't work for me... but you work for her.
Arianna: No. [Stammers] Let me explain, please. I was supposed to be working for a woman named Cece. I was being interviewed by her when Nicole shows up, out of nowhere. All of a sudden, she's making this scene, and apparently the cameras are rolling. It went viral, and then there was all this buzz about the baby switcher being back in town.
Arianna: Yeah. And you know what--she was the most binged person last week. Did you know that?
EJ: Really? I bet she was.
Arianna: Anyway...Cece was offered another job, and then Philip decides to hire Nicole as the reporter. I didn't know any of this until I showed up on my first day.
EJ: I see. So I take it they sent you in here to soften me up.
Arianna: I made a mistake of telling Nicole that you had been decent to me...okay? She jumped on that. I'm sorry.
EJ: Mm. So now what happens if I refuse to do this interview?
Arianna: The same thing that she did with the mayor, which is to say that she'd just start making stuff up on the air. You know, I think that's what she would do with you. I mean, she--she'd probably say that if you don't want to talk to the press, it's because you've got something to hide-- I mean, that sort of thing.
Arianna: Not to say that if you were face-to-face with her she would be all that fair. But you know what, you would have a fighting chance. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. You know what? I should not have bothered you. I hope you get better. I'm deeply sorry.
Will: All right, I'm going to try T and Kinsey one more time.
Mia: You know, um, I'll be off work soon. Maybe you and I could ditch Will and hang out?
Chad: Yeah, that would work...if I wanted to hang out with you. But see, I donít.
Will: All right, Kinsey says she is waiting for T to pick her up.
Chad: Uh...you got a customer at the counter.
Will: What was that about? Thought you and Mia were together.
Chad: Yeah, well...you thought wrong.
Kate: [Sighs] What do you want?
Madeline: I've come to offer my congratulations. You and Stefano. There's a marriage made in hell.
Kate: [Chuckles] Get to the point.
Madeline: I'm here to tell you that I'm putting you on notice.
Dr. Spaceman: Hi, Hope. So sorry to keep you waiting.
Hope: Oh, Dr. Spaceman, thank you for seeing me on such short notice. The prescription that you gave me to help me sleep--well, unfortunately, I spilt it all over the squad room floor, and I'd like for you to write me another prescription. Would you?
Dr. Spaceman: I'm afraid I can't do that.
EJ: So what happens to you if I refuse to do the interview?
Arianna: You know what, don't worry about that, okay? Please.
EJ: Well, I think I know what happens. Nicole will find some way to blame it on you.
Arianna: Hey, I have got friends in high places.
EJ: Yes, you do. Send her in.
Nicole: Ah. Well?
Arianna: He'll do it.
Nicole: Great! Get the equipment.
Arianna: You gonna treat him like you treated Abe?
Nicole: None of your concern.
Arianna: Because if you do...
Nicole: What, what, what, what--you'll tattle to Brady? Listen up, sweet tart. Brady hates EJ as much as I do. Don't you have something to do?
EJ: Hello, Nikki.
Nicole: Looks like someone got what was coming to him.
EJ: Mm...I see. So that's going to be the tenor of this interview, is it?
Nicole: Well, what do you want, a tribute? Think that'll sell to all the locals?
EJ: I don't know. You've always been the expert on what sells and doesn't sell, haven't you?
Nicole: You know, I have heard every rotten thing that you and Sami have said about me, and now it's my turn. Guess what. Lucky for me, all of Salem gets to hear what I have to say.
Arianna: Oh, that's where you're wrong. This interview's over.
Nicole: What the hell do you think you're doing?
Arianna: Saving you from yourself.
Arianna: I don't know what you got going on in your mind, but I can guarantee you this-- it's not gonna be on that camera. So if you start in on him, I'm gonna leave, and I'm gonna take that with me.
Nicole: Looks like you have a protector. Okay. I'll play nice. You ready?
Nicole: I'm here at university hospital with EJ DiMera, the most recent victim of the Salem mugger. He's actually the fourth rich and/or powerful man to be knocked unconscious and robbed in the last week. Mr. DiMera... can you tell me what you remember about what happened last night? Did you see anything at all before you were attacked?
EJ: Actually, yes, I, uh... I remember that there was more than one person involved.
Nicole: Are you saying you saw someone you can identify?
EJ: Oh, absolutely. And I'm not gonna stop until I track that person down.
Baker: Bernie, come on, buddy! I have the money that I owe you!
Bernie: So why aren't you handing it over?
Baker: Well, I just need a little time to move things around before I can get my hands on the cash.
Bernie: Then call the seven Santini brothers and start movin'.
Baker: Well, actually, I... I don't have it.
Bernie: Wait a minute--
Baker: No, no, but I will! But I will, just as soon as I line up this high stakes poker game that I'm playing in tonight.
Bernie: Kinda hard to play cards when you don't have any hands.
Baker: Will 500 bucks help?
Bernie: It's a start.
Baker: [Sighs] Kind of a buzz kill, Bernie. Okay. On to plan "b"--whatever that is. Where are you, dark-haired lady?
Hope: You can't write me another prescription?
Dr. Spaceman: I already gave you a 30-day supply.
Hope: Yeah, I understand that, but, doctor, I just explained to you that I, um, I spilt the whole prescription all over the squad room floor. And God knows what's been on that floor--mud, blood, bodily fluids--god knows.
Dr. Spaceman: Well, Hope, if I write the prescription too early, the insurance won't pay for it.
Hope: That's fine. I can pay for it myself. That's no problem.
Dr. Spaceman: You need them that badly?
Hope: No, I--I am not abusing these, please...I mean, if that's what you're getting at. Itís... look, doctor, I am... all my daughter has right now, and I really need to sleep.
Dr. Spaceman: Okay. I'll write you another prescription.
Hope: Thank you.
Dr. Spaceman: I'm sorry, it's just...we've had some instances where people were abusing this medication. I'm just trying to be cautious.
Hope: I completely understand. But that's not me, I assure you.
Dr. Spaceman: [Yawns] Good. Excuse me. I should probably write one of those for myself. Why don't you give me the extra from the other bottle. I'll throw those out for you.
Hope: Oh, sure, no problem. Here you go.
Dr. Spaceman: And this, uh, this medication works for you?
Hope: Yeah. Really well. You know, before, when I'd dream, I'd wake up in the morning and be completely exhausted, not rested at all.
Dr. Spaceman: What kind of dreams?
Hope: Well, you know, the usual, um...exams tomorrow. Haven't cracked a book. Don't know where the classroom is or I-I can't get to where I'm going.
Dr. Spaceman: Oh... frustration dreams.
Hope: Yeah. You think?
Dr. Spaceman: Yeah. And now...better?
Hope: Yeah! Now I-I mean, I'm still dreaming. I don't know what they are or remember them when I wake up, but I feel good. I feel on top of it.
Dr. Spaceman: Good.
Chad: See, when I found out Mia was playing both of us... that was it for me.
Will: Why did she tell you about her and me?
Chad: Uh...it doesn't matter, man.
Will: I used to think that she was so sweet. But she's not.
Chad: Well, she went through a really bad time, and... it's because of me.
Will: The baby?
Chad: Shoulda been there, and I wasnít.
Will: You know that.
Chad: Yeah, I know that. And, yeah, I guess I'll always care about her. But you're right... she's not the person who I thought she was.
Mia: They're talking about me. I know they are. Chad, you still want me. And I think I know how to make you see that.
Kate: You're putting me on notice? What the hell are you talking about?
Madeline: Well, I was hoping that after our last little encounter that we could stay away from each other. But it's not working out that way.
Kate: Because of the boys.
Madeline: I know that Will is a good kid.
Kate: Will is a great kid. In fact, if you want to put him up against your son's record--
Madeline: Fine. Then tell Will that Chad is a bad influence and that it would be best if they avoided each other.
Kate: Oh, really? They'll see right through that.
Madeline: I am telling you to stay away from my family... completely away, or I will make sure that this pretty little life that you've cooked up with Stefano comes crashing down. And you know that I can do that.
Nicole: Does the police department know about this accomplice?
EJ: I haven't given the police a statement yet.
Nicole: So this is the first mention of it anywhere. Well, can you give me a description of this person? Did you get a good look?
EJ: Well, it was a man, like I said. And, uh, they seemed a little... familiar.
Nicole: Do you think this person was an enemy of yours or your father's? Is it possible that the other muggings were just meant to disguise the fact that this person is out to settle a score with you?
EJ: Oh, I think it's definitely somebody going to settle a score.
Nicole: Do you have any idea who?
EJ: Yes, I do. As a matter of fact, Nikki, I think this, uh, person is an associate of yours.
Hope: Hey, Jerry. It's Detective Brady. Is Roman back from his meeting with the mayor? No, I'll have to call back in. Actually, I'm heading to the hospital right now to interview EJ DiMera. Okay.
Baker: Well, what do you know? You're a sight for sore eyes.
Hope: Excuse me?
Baker: I been looking all over for you.
Hope: I'm so sorry. Do I know you?
Kate: We have a problem.
EJ: It's just a matter of time, Nicole. I'll get you.
Rafe: But he doesn't just want his kids.Back to The TV MegaSite's Days Of Our Lives Site
