Bo: Carly, what is going on with you? I told you I would get Melanie to drop those charges.
Carly: And I told you I don't want you to do that. I'm not gonna fight this, okay? It's my prerogative, isn't it?
Bo: So you're just gonna give up.
Carly: I'm gonna protect my daughter again. If I go to jail, then--then Vivian will leave her alone.
Bo: That is not true and you know it.
Carly: I have made up my mind and there's nothing you can do to stop it.
Bo: Maybe not. But there's someone who can and will.
[Knocking at door]
Hope: Melanie. Hey. Uh, may I come in?
Melanie: What do you want?
Hope: I'd like to talk to you.
Hope: Your mother.
Max: Well, you know what they say about all work and no play.
Caroline: Oh. Ha ha! Max.
Max: Hi, Mom.
Max: See, this is why I'm here. I need to give you a little break. What do you need me to do?
Caroline: Oh, boy. I'm so glad you're home.
Max: I know. Me too. I missed you so much.
Nicole: [Exhales] What the hell?
Guard: [Laughs] And to think I was gonna call in sick today.
Nicole: Well, could you at least get me a sponge? This toothbrush is worthless. And I'm pretty sure this is considered abuse.
Guard: Uh-uh. Abuse is you attacking your cellmate. So quit your whining and get back to work.
Nicole: Hey. Doesn't kill you.
EJ: Okay. That's fantastic. Should we put one more on? What do you think? One more? Too much? No? Ah. Okay, so we can cross structural engineering off our list of future endeavors. Be wonderful if your mother would help us, but she's too busy fretting.
Sami: I'm not gonna talk about it.
EJ: Well, we weren't talking about it. We were just commenting, weren't we, Sydney?
Sami: I don't want to talk about it with you because you're just gonna say "Everything's gonna be fine, Sami. Everything's perfect."
EJ: Look, I think everything is gonna be fine. But, uh, please don't resent me for being optimistic, Samantha.
Sami: I said I don't want to talk about it.
EJ: It's okay. Should we build a castle? Should we build a castle?
Sami: There's one thing's gonna make this right. Get Rafe to--to focus on us again.
EJ: I thought you weren't gonna talk about it, Samantha.
Sami: I'm not talking to you. I'm talking to myself. Besides, just need Rafe to--to figure out who the kidnapper is. And if he can do that, then I think it's really gonna go a long way to make things better.
EJ: It's a pretty big "if," don't you think?
Sami: Not really. I think he has a pretty good lead he's working on.
Rafe: Go on in. Cover me. FBI!
Agent Clark: Nobody's here.
Rafe: Somebody was.
Pilot: Welcome aboard flight 982. This is your pilot speaking. We'll be taking off for San José, Costa Rica in just a few minutes so please sit back and relax.
Anna: [Laughs] Relax? Not bloody likely. Not till I'm far away from Salem.
EJ: So why do you think he's closer to finding the kidnapper?
Sami: He's apparently gotten a lead.
EJ: Really? What kind of lead?
Sami: Oh, I don't know, but he was really excited about it.
EJ: Don't get too excited. You know what happened last time he got a lead.
Sami: Look, I know you two don't get along, but he is really good at what he does. He's one of the best men the FBI have.
EJ: Look, I know he's well-intentioned, Samantha. But after the fiasco with the ransom drop, I'm sorry, I don't have any faith left in Rafe.
Sami: Well, I do. I believe he's gonna find Sydney's kidnapper. And he will. You'll see.
EJ: Good. Believe me, nobody wants to see that person caught more than me.
Agent: Interesting decor. Minimalist with an occasional swatch of bleak.
Rafe: Yeah, well, less surface area means fewer fingerprints.
Agent: I don't think anybody's been here in a long time.
Rafe: Seems that way.
Rafe: My gut tells me we're in the right place. Keep looking.
Anna: [Exhales] Once this plane takes off, that'll be all she wrote, folks. And Anna DiMera will be nothing but an ever-fading memory. Not that it'll break anybody's heart. Only mine. Missing my sweet pea already. Where did I put her picture? Swear I had it in here. Oh, no. Oh, no. What if I left it at the cottage?
Carly: You asked her to do this?
Bo: She volunteered.
Carly: Without any pressure from you?
Bo: Why wouldn't Hope want Melanie to tell the truth?
Carly: Oh, I'm sorry. I-I just seem to expect the worst from people lately and it's wrong. I hate being so cynical.
Bo: Well, that's-- you know, after living with Lawrence and having this crazy woman chase you around, rather difficult not to be cynical. But...Hope wants to do the right thing. Wants to help.
Carly: I know that. Of course she does. 'Cause no matter how much she resents me, she's--she's got a good heart. She's a person of integrity.
Bo: Yeah, she is.
Carly: That's why you love her so much.
Max: I can't--are you sure?
Caroline: Would I be telling you if I weren't?
Max: Carly Manning?
Caroline: The one and only.
Max: And Melanie just found out now.
Caroline: Yeah. Some wedding, huh?
Max: Wow. Not only does Melanie get shot, she's shot by her own mother. Poor kid. I just wish I could've been here sooner, you know?
Caroline: Well, you're here now and your visit would mean a lot to Melanie.
Max: I know, but I wish I could stay longer. I got this medical conference down in San Diego I gotta go to.
Caroline: How long is your layover?
Max: It's only a few hours.
Caroline: Oh. Don't waste your time here with me. You go see Melanie.
Caroline: Darling, she needs her big brother right now.
Melanie: So you want to talk about the shooting, obviously.
Melanie: Should I have, like, an attorney present?
Hope: Oh, no, no, no. I'm--I'm here as a friend.
Melanie: You're not my friend.
Hope: Oh. Okay. Um, just let me revise that. I'm not here as an officer of the law.
Melanie: Look, I'm tired.
Hope: Melanie, please. You're making a very serious decision without having all the facts. Your mother, she never--
Melanie: She--she's not my mother.
Hope: Carly... she did not intend to shoot you. She was trying to save your life, not end it.
Melanie: Why are you defending her to me?
Hope: I'm not defending her. No, I'm not.
Melanie: I mean, have you forgotten what she's done? Has it slipped your mind that she's sleeping with your husband?
Nicole: What do you think you're doing?
Guard: This is gonna be my new wallpaper. It'll make me smile every time I look at it.
Nicole: I swear, some day, I'm gonna take this toothbrush and--
Guard: Watch it, sweet pea.
Nicole: What'd you call me?
Guard: Just get back to work. Talking's not gonna make that floor clean.
Woman’s voice: Hush, sweet pea. Everything's gonna be all right.
Nicole: Sweet pea. Who else says that? And why can't I place that voice?
Sami: Crimes against children, I mean, I know there are so many worse things that happen to kids every day. And we are very lucky with Sydney. But even if she wasn't physically hurt, what kind of monster would--
[Cell phone rings]
Sami: Would do that? Would... hey.
Rafe: Sami, I need you to meet me right away.
Sami: Oh. What's up?
Rafe: I'll explain everything when you get here.
Sami: Okay. Uh, where are you?
Rafe: You know where Old Anderson Bridge is?
Sami: Um, sure.
Rafe: A small cottage about five miles west on Oak Road.
Sami: Okay. Uh, EJ's here with, um, uh, Sydney. So I could just have him watch her. I'll be right there.
Rafe: Oh, good. Have him come along.
Sami: Oh. Okay. We're on our way.
Sami: Rafe wants us to meet him at a cottage on Oak Road. We gotta go.
EJ: Did he say why?
Sami: No. Uh, he didn't. But maybe he has a lead on the kidnapper. Or--or maybe he just found out who it is. I mean, let's go.
Hope: We're not talking about me. We're talking about you... doing the right thing.
Melanie: Yeah. Which is to put Mama behind bars.
Hope: What's really going on here?
Melanie: You're bugging me, that's what's going on.
Hope: No, no, no. You know what I mean. You're a smart girl. You have to know that your mother would never intentionally hurt you.
Melanie: Okay, well, one, I'm not a girl. I'm a woman. And, Hope, look, my mother threw me away the second I was born. She left me with some loser and she didn't look back. Does that sound like someone who's worried about my well-being?
Hope: There were extenuating circumstances.
Melanie: One of those big words that don't mean anything?
Hope: She was trying to protect you.
Melanie: Well, she failed miserably. I mean, that--that might be why she shot me so she wouldn't have to be reminded of how awful of a mother she is.
Hope: I know you hate Carly.
Melanie: You think?
Hope: But you're doing this out of spite. Not because you actually believe that Carly's guilty.
Melanie: Love being told what my motives are.
Hope: Melanie, I am... I am so sorry--so sorry for what you've been through. Carly has hurt you.
Melanie: Yeah, she's hurt me. Hope, she gave me to some sadistic drunk who used to pimp me out to pay off his gambling debt. She's gotta pay for that.
Hope: Melanie, just--
Melanie: I don't--no, look, I don't--I don't want to hear it. I don't want to hear about your extenuating circumstances or whatever big words you're gonna throw at me to defend her. I just--I would really just like to be left alone, please.
Sami: Hey, Rafe.
Sami: Did you find Sydney's kidnapper?
Rafe: Not yet, no. But I think this might've been the base of her operation.
Sami: Oh, my God.
EJ: Rafe, are you sure about this? I mean, this place has been deserted for ages.
Rafe: Well, the last call that the kidnapper placed to your phone was from this area. This is the only structure in the vicinity.
Sami: She kept my baby here. Oh.
Rafe: It's possible.
EJ: Whoa, but... you're not actually sure, are you? You don't have any... evidence, do you?
Anna: Come on. Come on. Oh. It's not there. Which means I probably did leave it at the cottage. Oh. And if EJ's cleanup crew doesn't find it... then my fingerprints can link everything back to me. And to that limey son of a bitch that dragged me into this little scheme. Yeah, that's right, EJ. That's right, Elvis. If I'm going down, I'm taking you with me. [Exhales]
Bo: I thought you understood.
Carly: You know, I-I-I--uh, don't--don't--don't even answer that because it was--it was a provocative thing to say and I don't even know what kind of response I was trying to elicit from you. And, like, you and Hope have a history. And you have children. And, of course, you love her 'cause you wouldn't be you if you didn't.
Bo: Can I talk now?
Carly: Oh, if you must.
Bo: [Exhales] Oh, hell. You're important to me. You're the woman that I want and need. And, yeah, I have a history with Hope. But... things change. People outgrow each other. And that is sad. But this, what--what we have, it...feels right.
Carly: It feels right to me too.
Bo: Okay. Then, you know, I'd like to be with you. And this whole martyr thing of thinking you're gonna save your daughter by going off to prison, it--it's crazy.
Carly: Oh, please. Come on.
Bo: Vivian will be caught. She's... sick and evil and... creepy. But she's human and fallible. So she'll be found out and put away.
Carly: I don't--I just-- I wish I had your confidence.
Bo: All right, come on, if you're not gonna think about yourself, think about your daughter.
Carly: She is all that I'm thinking about.
Bo: Well, I'm not--I'm not seeing that. You go off to prison, you're gonna abandon her once again.
Carly: Bo, as if she'd care. Come on.
Bo: Well, you're not giving her a chance to care. You're not giving her a chance to find out how much you love her. Is that what you want?
Hope: Oh, uh, sorry. Bad time.
Bo: No. No. It's fine. Hey, um... did you talk to Melanie?
Hope: Yeah. Yeah. I-I spoke to her.
Carly: How'd it go?
Hope: Well, uh, not--not too well, actually. Um, she still refuses to believe the shooting was an accident. Or claims not to believe it anyway. It's obviously personal. She's determined to punish you.
Melanie: Nerve of that woman coming in here and telling me what to think and how to feel like she has any idea what Carly put me... ouch. Oh, Melanie. Pulled a st--stitch. Ow. Ow. Ah. Look, if you are back here to bother me some more...
Max: Glad to see you haven't changed. You're still as bratty as ever.
Max: Oh, jeez.
Melanie: Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow. You're back.
Max: I hear you got shot.
Max: Are you okay?
Nicole: [Exhales] Think, Nicole. Who else used to say "sweet pea"? Mary? [Scoffs] No, she would never kidnap Sydney. [Exhales] It's got to be someone from your past who wouldn't mind bashing in your head.
Anna: Why are you looking at me like that?
Guard: What is wrong with you?
Nicole: Uh, nothing. I thought--I thought you were someone else for a second.
Guard: Angelina Jolie?
Nicole: [Exhales] Yeah. That--that must've been it.
Rafe: Is there a problem, EJ?
EJ: No, Rafe.
Rafe: Huh. You seem agitated.
EJ: Well, of course I'm agitated. I'm trying to find out who kidnapped my daughter. So you'll excuse me if I'm a little bit frustrated. Besides which, I'm worried that Sydney's gonna be upset. I mean, look at this grungy old place. It's no place for her. You okay, sweetheart?
Rafe: Besides, she doesn't seem upset to me.
Sami: But, um, you did bring us here, right, for a reason? I mean, you sounded urgent on the phone.
EJ: Yeah. He brought us here, Samantha, because he wanted to torment us.
Rafe: "To torment you." Really? Is that what you think? The reason you're here is because I'm trying to find the person who kidnapped your daughter, EJ. Though I know that this is not pleasant, the intention is not to bring back bad memories, but merely to see if there's anything that seems familiar to you. Anything? You saw the video the kidnapper sent. Do you recognize anything here?
EJ: No, Rafe. I don't recognize anything here, okay?
Sami: Rafe, the video really focused on her inside, you know, the pack 'n play. I didn't see anything else.
EJ: Thank you. So you do understand this is a complete waste of time. Samantha, please, I think we should go.
Rafe: Oh, fantastic. You must be Mr. Toppits. Caretaker?
Rafe: Excellent. Thank you so much for being here. This is Mr. Toppits, caretaker from down the road. I'm hoping he can help us. Maybe saw something or someone.
Carly: Look, I understand Melanie's need to punish me. I've caused her a lifetime of pain.
Bo: Your intention was to protect her. Once she understands that, things will be--
Carly: I don't know that she ever will. She thinks I abandoned her for selfish reasons. That I didn't want her.
Hope: Well, hopefully, one day, she'll understand the truth.
Carly: Thanks. Maybe she--maybe she will. And if she doesn't, then I'm just gonna have to live with that, won't I?
Max: Come on, little gimp.
Melanie: Uh, funny. So you're back. Ow. How are you? How's London? How's Chelsea? How's everything?
Max: Uh, fine, fine, fine, and fine.
Melanie: Really? Good.
Max: But I didn't come here to talk about myself. How are you? You look awful.
Melanie: Max, I just so missed your brutal honesty.
Max: I know. Where is your adoring husband?
Melanie: He's running errands.
Melanie: I convinced him that I won't die if he leaves the hospital.
Max: That's good. It's a start.
Max: Look, I'm... I'm sorry I didn't make your wedding, all right? I... I just kind of feel like I could've done something if I was here. You know, prevented something or...
Melanie: Yeah, probably.
Max: I--I'm trying here.
Melanie: No, what--what, were you gonna read her mind? You know, realize that she was gonna sh-- I don't--I don't--I don't want to talk about Carly. I don't want to waste--I don't want to waste time. You're here. I miss you. I want to talk to you. So you... you heard about the other news then.
Max: Yeah, about, uh, Daniel Jonas being your father.
Melanie: Real showstopper, huh?
Max: Right? Definitely.
Melanie: Look, Max, um, I've--I've been thinking about it ever since I found out that Trent's not my dad...
Melanie: As it turns out. Um, we're still both raised by him though, you know? So to me, that--that means we're still brother and sister regardless of biology.
Max: Yeah, I feel the same way.
Melanie: Besides, more importantly, you're, like, the best brother in the whole world. I'm not gonna give that up.
Max: I know. Watch the gunshot wound.
Melanie: [Laughs] You're my family, Max. You always will be.
Rafe: So you never saw anyone entering or leaving this cottage?
Toppits: No. I thought it was vacant.
Agent: And you never saw any cars drive up and down this way?
Toppits: Not that I can remember. Sometimes kids will drive to the lake. But nothing ever struck me as suspicious.
Rafe: Okay, well, thank you so much for your time, Mr. Toppits. If you do remember anything, please do not hesitate to call. Day or night.
Toppits: Of course.
Agent: Here, I'll take you to your car.
EJ: Well, that was useful. Now, Samantha, can we please go? Please?
Sami: I don't mind being here if it's gonna help us find whoever did this to Sydney.
EJ: It's not, Samantha. I'm sorry. Rafe is clutching at straws. This is a dead end. Don't you see that?
Rafe: You're sure of that how?
EJ: The only thing I'm sure of, Rafe, is that I have my daughter back. That is the only thing that matters to me.
Rafe: Person that did this to you, put your family through hell--
EJ: The person who did this to me was a monster. But they took very good care of my daughter and I got her back healthy. And that's about the only thing that concerns me right now.
Rafe: That doesn't mean it's not gonna happen again, EJ.
EJ: What it means is that my priority is making sure that my daughter is happy, and healthy, and safe, and secure. I have no interest in bringing her to some grotty little cabin.
Sami: She's fine. And if there is a chance--
EJ: It doesn't matter, Samantha. Am I the only person who understands that? Okay? This kidnapper, whoever they are, is very smart. They're not stupid. They didn't leave little traces of themselves all over this cabin, all right? I'm sorry. But whoever did this is long gone and we should just be happy and grateful that we have our daughter back.
Anna: When is this bird taking flight? We should've been halfway there by now.
Pilot: Sorry for the delay, folks. We're experiencing a minor mechanical problem. We thank you for your patience.
Anna: Patience? I'm going nuts. Hello. Someone. Anyone. How long is this delay gonna be? Can someone tell me, please?
Max: I feel the same way, Mel. You're my sister in my heart. All right? I felt that way since the first moment I saw you. And that hasn't changed and never will.
Melanie: And you're still the same big, strong, handsome, older brother who loves me despite all my many faults.
Melanie: No. No. No. You're not supposed to agree with that with the--with the "many faults" part.
Max: But it's true.
[Melanie slaps Max's leg]
Max: Okay. Revision. Revised version. I am still the same big, smart, strong...
Max: Handsome, older brother.
Max: Sorry. Who loves you because you're a great person. Okay? And you're smart. And you're funny. [Whispers] Sometimes. And you're loyal.
Melanie: You--you--you still think that?
Max: I know that.
Melanie: Even though all I've done since you left is screw up?
Max: No, screw--okay, Mel, you went to nursing school. You fell in love. You got married. I mean, I think you're on the right track.
Melanie: I am.
Melanie: I'm on the right track.
EJ: Samantha, should we get going?
Sami: Actually, I'd rather wait for Rafe. You know, I mean, till you're done. And--and maybe we can go back with you.
Rafe: Absolutely. It'd be great. In fact, I am done. Lab's on their way here now so...
EJ: Wonderful. Well, um, should I put Sydney in the car seat?
Sami: Uh, no, can--can we get a ride in--in your car? I mean...
Rafe: Of course. Like I said, it'd be great. Just so you know though, we are gonna find the kidnapper. It's only a matter of time.
Guard: Would you hurry it up, huh? We need to get you back to your cell.
Nicole: Why did I think of Anna? She couldn't have possibly... [Laughs] I mean, that doesn't make any sense. Anna?
Max: I know that you're upset about everything that's happened since the wedding, okay? But if I could just weigh in for a second.
Melanie: Uh, no, you cannot.
Melanie: Wh--'cause I know how your brain works.
Melanie: You--you're gonna tell me that just because Carly Manning is my real mother, I should give her a break. Am I right? Is that--is that...
Max: Yeah. Pretty much. Yeah.
Melanie: Well, you can forget it. She deserves to go to jail for what she did to me.
Max: Melanie, sh--
Melanie: Max, come on. She ruined my childhood, she kept me from my father, and, um, she shot me on my wedding day. So if you want me to be nice to her and cut her some slack, you can just--you can just go.
Bo: We're not giving up.
[Cell phone rings]
Bo: We're gonna talk to Melanie again and--oh, damn. I gotta get down to the station. Hey, listen, while I'm there, I'm gonna talk to Gus, see if I can get him to give us Vivian in exchange for a better deal.
Hope: Okay, well, do you need some help?
Bo: No, thanks. I got it covered. Um, later.
Hope: Melanie could... could change her mind, you know. It's possible.
Carly: I appreciate you saying that. But, um, I think my going to prison is what's best for-- for everyone. Including Bo.
Hope: I'm sorry, I don't quite understand.
Carly: I made up my mind. Today at the hearing, I'm going to plead guilty.
Sami: We're home again.
Rafe: Of course.
Sami: Yeah, we are.
Rafe: Yeah, listen, also do a sweep of the surrounding area too.
Sami: Jacket off you.
Rafe: [Chuckles] I know you are. All right, thanks. I should probably get back to the office.
Sami: What, really? You, um, you don't have a couple minutes?
Rafe: Yeah, a couple. Why?
Sami: I-I thought you could just hang out with me and Sydney for a little bit, you know? You haven't had much time to spend with her and-- look at her smile at you. She misses you.
Rafe: Oh. I missed her too.
Sami: Say hi. Can you say hi to Rafe?
Rafe: What are you doing? You happy to be back home with Mommy, huh?
Sami: Hey, she's happy to be with you too. You know what? We're a family. That's all that matters.
[Cell phone rings]
EJ: [Exhales] Why are you calling me?
Anna: [Exhales] My flight has been delayed. I was getting nervous. I thought I better check in.
EJ: Anna, you need to get out of the country right now.
Anna: Oh, really? Right now? Okay, well, then I'll just go break down the cockpit door and fly the plane myself.
EJ: What is going on with your plane? What's the problem?
Anna: Mechanical problems. What's the difference? We are stuck on the ground.
EJ: Oh, well, that's just bloody great, isn't it?
Anna: Why do you sound panicky? Has something happened?
EJ: Yes. Something's happened. [Pours a drink] Rafe Hernandez found out all about the cottage.
Anna: What? The cottage? Oh, my God. Did he find anything?
EJ: Not yet.
Anna: But what if he does? Oh, my God, what then? What will happen?
EJ: Do I really need to spell that out for you? I mean, are you really that dense?
Anna: No, I am not dense, you snarky creep. I'm nervous. And why wouldn't I be?
EJ: Yes. Why wouldn't you be? 'Cause if Rafe finds anything incriminating in or around that cottage, then you and I are history.
Max: So--[Chuckles]--You're gonna let your own mother go to prison, is that it?
Melanie: Well, she let her own daughter be raised by a drunk.
Max: Well, apparently, she didn't know that that was happening.
Melanie: That's irrelevant. She should've known.
Max: Uh, look, I don't care about Carly. She means nothing to me.
Max: Melanie, I know you're angry about all this, all right? And you have every right to be. But in the end, if you let your own mother go to prison from, what I understand, she was only trying to protect you, the person who's gonna suffer the most is you.
Hope: Carly, pleading guilty... it could be years before you got out.
Carly: It's what's best for Melanie and for Bo.
Hope: Why would it be best for Bo?
Carly: You're his wife. And, um, you guys have had a hard time. And--and, you know, maybe he turned to me. But I know--and I think you do too--that you are just... you are so important to him. And, you know, if I'm out of the picture, I really believe the two of you can find your way back to each other. Am I being presumptuous?
Hope: Presumptuous? Ha. Presumptuous. Uh...noble. Stepping aside so my husband and I could find our way back to each other? Now, I mean, you truly have a heart of gold.
Carly: I only meant that--
Hope: I don't care what you meant. I-I-I know what I heard. You can take your patronizing little offer and you can go straight to hell with it.
Sami: Here. Yeah. She loves hanging out with you. And, uh, she may not be able to say it quite yet, but she is very grateful to you for everything that you have done for her.
Rafe: Yeah. Well, we're sure glad to have you back. Yes, we are. We are. Yes, we are. There's still one more thing that I got to do though, kid. That's right. I'm gonna find the person or persons that took you. I'm gonna bring them to justice. Yes, I am.
EJ: Okay, okay, look, what did the pilot say? Did he give you any idea when this plane would be leaving?
Anna: No, he just said it was a delay, that's all.
Pilot: Ladies and gentlemen, I'm happy to report that the mechanical problem has been fixed. We should be ready to take off in a matter of moments.
Anna: Oh, thank God. Did you hear that?
EJ: I did. It's wonderful news. Bon voyage, Anna.
Anna: Thanks. Oh, and, EJ, please give my little sweet pea a kiss.
EJ: Yeah. I'll get right on that. [Exhales heavily] Looks like your daddy dodged another bullet. Your secret's safe with me, sweetheart.
Nicole: How could it have possibly been Anna who took Sydney? I mean, why else would she have popped in my head? I haven't--haven't seen her since Tony was alive, making my life a living hell. I mean, she was always running off on her trips and...
Anna: Tony, love, I'm ready to leave for the airport. Bye-bye, my sweet pea. Auntie Anna will see you in a couple of weeks. Oh, and you take care of my little sweet pea, Nicolette.
Nicole: Oh, my God. It was Anna.
Carly: This is about what must be and what will be.
Nicole: It's Nicole. Long time, no talk.
Nathan: You need to tell me exactly what was in this letter, Stephanie.
