Kate: God, what's wrong with me?
Daniel: Nothing. Absolutely nothing.
Kate: No... I shouldn't be doing this.
Daniel: Yeah, but... we both felt it. We both did. Don't stop.
Kate: I can't. I can't. I will... I have to.
Daniel: You're not in control. Not completely.
Lexie: I don't know why he keeps calling. He knows we can't talk to him.
Nathan: Maybe because it's driving him freakin' nuts that he can't do anything to help her. Lexie: Sorry.
Nathan: It's okay. It's okay, we're all on edge. I mean, I jump every time the phone rings.
Lexie: [Sighs] I mean, I-I can't even imagine how scared Ciara must be.
Nathan: I know. Bo and Hope must be going crazy.
Theo: Ciara! Ciara!
Lexie: Excuse me.
Abe: Here, Theo, it's okay. I just can't seem to get through to him.
Lexie: Honey, honey, it's okay. It's okay.
Theo: Want Ciara, want Ciara.
Lexie: I know, sweetheart. I know you do, honey. She'll be fine, okay? Anything?
Abe: Roman said they're moving on the house where they kept her.
Abe: A while ago.
Lexie: This is taking too long. Way too long.
Stephanie: Hail Mary, full of grace.
Philip: No, they're sending the volunteers home.
Brady: Even though they haven't found Ciara?
Philip: Well, they're closing in on the house that they were kept. I just don't think they want people around in case, you know, things go...south.
Brady: Yeah. Does that mean you're coming home, then?
Brady: I didn't think so. Keep me posted.
Stephanie: I don't think I can stand this.
Philip: I know, I know. We need to keep our voices down, though, okay, in case--
[Flapping and pattering]
Philip: I heard something--come here.
Hope: This is the nice man who rescued you, honey.
Ciara: No, he isn't.
Hope: What do you mean, baby? Honey, why did you say that?
Melanie: Ow, son of-- what are you doing here?
I'm sorry. I can tell by your great mood that you haven't obviously heard about Ciara yet.
Melanie: No, Abe just said that they were moving--
Abe: Carver. Yes. They found Ciara. It's Uncle Roman. She's fine.
Lexie: [Sighs] Oh, thank God. Oh, thank God.
Melanie: Oh, whoa! Nathan, oh, my gosh! [Laughter] You--
Melanie: You need to, um...you need to learn how to express your emotions more.
Nathan: I gotta call Maggie.
Nathan: We gotta call everyone.
Melanie: Go. [Laughing and panting] [Sighs] Philip's going to be really happy.
Lexie: Honey. Come on, do you understand? Honey, they found Ciara. She's fine.
Abe: You know, I think he wants to see that for himself.
Lexie: Oh, you will, sweetheart. She'll be home soon. Oh, God, she's okay. She's okay. Oh, thank you, God.
Ciara: It wasn't him. It was you and Daddy.
Bo: That's right, sweetie. Mommy and Daddy never stopped looking for you until they got you back.
Hope: Honey, what is it? What's wrong?
Brady: Yeah. No, no, it's great news. Great news.
Daniel: Well, it's been such a long time since I heard good news, I don't know how to react.
Brady: Well, thank you for your help.
Daniel: Well, just doing what I can.
Brady: Well, we appreciate it.
Daniel: Yeah. Hey, look, Brady. Um, now that Ciara's safe...
Daniel: Well, I was just wondering about what I asked you. If you've found a way for me to get to Chloe and give her that drug.
Brady: Yeah, uh, look, man. I don't think I can help you.
Daniel: "Can't" or "won't"?
Brady: Daniel, I did some research on the drug that you were going to give her, and you neglected to mention that it could kill her.
Daniel: What, you think she's alive now?
Brady: I feel sorry for you. But what you're asking me to do--
Daniel: Is to help save a life.
Brady: You're sure of that. I'm not.
Brady: Daniel, I'm sorry. I-I'm sorry, all right?
Daniel: No, you know what? No, forget it, forget it. It's not just you. It's that woman. That monster. She is running around free, and she put a good, beautiful woman in a coma. And now everyone--everyone just falls right in line.
Brady: Look, I know you think that Kate did this.
Daniel: Yes, she did do it. I know it. And she set me up for it. And now she's got this wimp of a son--
Brady: All right, wa--watch it. You--you are in no place to start trashing Lucas, all right?
Daniel: He can do something to help Chloe, but he won't.
Brady: He just won't do what you want him to do--
Daniel: Nobody will, nobody will! And it's not for me, it's for her!
Brady: Daniel, listen to me. Why don't you--why don't you think about this. Chloe's father is a doctor. Get him involved with this.
Daniel: No, no. Lucas is her husband. He is the one in control.
Brady: All right, hey, hey. Cards on the table right now. Listen, I think you are too personally involved in this whole thing to make decisions about Chloe.
Daniel: Shut up. I am the only one on her side. The only one.
Brady: Are you listening to yourself, man? You sound like some conspiracy theory guy or something.
Brady: Daniel, look, look, look. I've known Kate my whole life. I've known her forever. I just don't think she's capable of doing what you're saying she did. It doesn't make any sense. If she wanted Lucas to stay away from Chloe, all she had to do was tell him about you.
Daniel: Problem is... she wanted more than that.
Nathan: I don't know. Uh, we don't know any of the details, but she's safe. And she's with Bo and Hope. I know, I know, I know. [Chuckles] Yeah, I know. Well, listen, I gotta get back to work. I just wanted to make sure you knew, okay? Of course. I love you too. All right, bye. [Exhales] You look everything but happy.
Melanie: Ha. What a surprise when I'm doing inventory to kill time before the bedpan fun.
Nathan: I just figured... never mind, I'm sorry. [Clears throat]
Melanie: So did you call Stephanie? Tell her the good news?
Melanie: Good, because she and Philip are probably...
Melanie: I am such a bitch.
Nathan: No, no, what?
Melanie: I am such a bi--look, Ciara is safe and you're happy and I am...
Melanie: Yes. I'm an awful person.
Nathan: No, you're not. You're just mad at me. Look, Mel, I didn't mean to hurt your feelings the other night, and I did, obviously. And I'm sorry.
Melanie: Hey, no, it's cool. I kind of freaked out when Stephanie came in and I was in the bathroom and I walked out and you guys were talking with each other. I thought you made a date with her, which I realized later, after I had calmed down, that that was not the case. It was just kind of one of those things.
Nathan: Yes, it was. Now, what about Philip and Stephanie?
Melanie: They're probably going to get back together.
Nathan: You okay?
Melanie: Yeah, I'm good. Why do you ask?
Nathan: Because I know how much you care about Philip.
Melanie: Well, so does he, and that doesn't make any difference.
Officer: Yeah, I'm just east of Route 7. Sure. Sure, I can turn back around. Okay.
Officer: Hold it right there. Hold it, hold it.
Philip: Hey, hey, hey, hey. I'm Philip Kiriakis. Ciara's uncle. This is Stephanie Johnson.
Officer: They found her. Guys, she's okay.
Philip: They did?
Stephanie: Oh, thank God.
Officer: Yeah, today. So.
Stephanie: Can you believe it? They found her. She's fine.
Hope: Oh, honey. It's okay. The doctors are going to take care of Officer Dean. He's gonna be fine.
Roman: Okay. The ambulance is on its way. If you can walk, it'll save us time if we meet it at the top of the ridge.
Dean: Yeah, I'm fine. Let's go.
Hope: You see, honey? He's going to be fine. Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you.
Ciara: Don't cry, Mommy. You don't have to be sad anymore.
Hope: You're right, I don't. Oh, God. You smell so good.
Bo: Here, let me in on that. [Inhales deeply]
Hope: Hey, before we, um, head home, I just want to stop by and see Lexie. Make sure you're okay. All right?
Bo: And then we'll go home and have some hot chocolate and broccoli.
Hope: Daddy is so silly. Come here. It's hot chocolate and asparagus.
Bo: Right, asparagus.
Hope: Come on, brave girl. Let's go.
Daniel: No, no, Justin, Justin. That doesn't even make sense. We know what she did. You put her on the stand and you tear her apart. Because she manufactured evidence! I-- okay, fine. Fine. Fine, I'll talk to you in the morning. Yeah, Ciara. That is ama--amazing. Yeah, I'll--I'll talk to you.
Brady: You know, the way you're saying "fine, fine, fine" doesn't sound too fine to me.
Daniel: Well, the obvious thing is to prove that Kate did it. To go after her.
Brady: And Justin doesn't agree with that?
Daniel: He thinks it's dangerous. That we should just concentrate on proving that I didn't do it.
Brady: Daniel, maybe he's right about that.
Daniel: Yeah, yeah, and Kate walks away with murder, sure.
Brady: And you don't go to prison for the rest of your life. And, you know, get to practice medicine again, and have a life again.
Daniel: That's not a life. You know what I think? He's just like you. Like everybody else in this town. You think Kate Roberts is invincible. Some rich, powerful woman who can just get away with anything?
Brady: And I think Justin going to law school and everything may have a better idea of how to defend you than you do.
Daniel: Yeah, well, he doesn't have all the information. And I wasn't about to tell him over the phone.
Brady: Tell him what?
Daniel: Kate's not invincible. She has an Achilles' heel.
Brady: And that would be?
Kate: Hey, Chloe. Big doings today. They brought a wounded officer into the hospital, and everyone is so busy. I guess we're going to get to spend some time together. All alone.
Lexie: Dean's going to be fine. The bullet went clean through his shoulder. He won't be needing surgery.
Abe: Well, more good news.
Roman: Yeah. I mean, he got pretty weak in the ambulance.
Lexie: A good night's rest, and he'll be much better. He can go home as soon as he's stitched up.
Roman: Okay. Well, I will start the paperwork on his commendation tomorrow morning.
Abe: Well, that should sail through.
Roman: He's pretty lucky. I think. Something about those two. Just something about this whole damn case.
Roman: Bo feels it too. He thinks they had something against Hope, that it was personal.
Abe: So they took her child.
Roman: Yeah, but then again, maybe they had something against Bo. And now that we've got them ID'd, we're checking to see if either Bo or Hope had ever arrested 'em.
Abe: They have records?
Roman: Yeah, they do. And Lexie, you need to hear this.
Lexie: Hear what?
Roman: The guy that, uh...took Ciara? He was a registered sex offender.
Lexie: Oh... children?
Roman: Yeah. We didn't have a chance to talk to Ciara about it...
Lexie: Oh, there she is. Hi, sweetheart. Ooh, it's so good to see you. Mm, mm!
Hope: You see? I told you Aunt Lexie would be thrilled to see you.
Lexie: Yes, I am. You know who else is? Look.
Bo: Ah, let's go say hi.
Ciara: Hey, Theo.
Lexie: Oh, honey. I'm sorry. I'm so happy for you now, though.
Hope: Thanks, honey.
Lexie: Um, look. I'll need you to be in the room with Ciara when I examine her.
Hope: Yeah, of course, of course. I wouldn't be anywhere else. Listen, there was a fight, and Bo--he hit his head pretty hard. I'd like him to be checked out as well.
Lexie: Yeah, yeah, I'll call neurology. Bo, I'll have someone see you right away, okay?
Bo: No, no, that's--I--I'm good. You just make sure my daughter's okay.
Lexie: I will. I will.
Hope: All right. See you in a second, okay?
Lexie: Come on, sweetheart. Mommy's coming with us, okay?
Hope: Of course mommy's coming. Love my big girl.
Roman: You okay?
Bo: In the car, we were talking, and, uh... [Sighs] She said that, uh, the bad man just gave her candy. I didn't get the feeling she was hiding anything, but, um... I don't think he touched her.
Bo: Yeah. What do I do if he did?
Brady: You're kidding me, right?
Daniel: I wish I were. I should've seen it coming. I should've known what I was dealing with. I was her lover, then her doctor. Cancer almost killed her. She, uh...
Brady: She's obsessed with you, and... now she wants you to suffer.
Daniel: It's love, hate, all mixed up into one psychological cocktail from hell. Isn't this the part where you tell me I'm crazy? That it's just one of my conspiracy theories?
Brady: And when she found out that you fell in love with Chloe, that sent her off the deep end, right?
Daniel: There you go. Sounds like you're starting to believe me.
Brady: What I do know is how she gets about her son Philip. You mess with Philip, and you're in deep, deep trouble.
Daniel: Yeah. And in all of this, the victim is Chloe. She fought me as hard as she could. But after Lucas' accident, she went back to Lucas. Devoted her life to trying to make him happy. Tried so hard to do what's right. But Kate decided she didn't deserve to live. And you know Chloe. You know what kind of person she is. What life means to her. Now she is lying there, helpless. And what scares the hell out of me is that I know her mind is still working--
Brady: Don't do this to yourself.
Daniel: No, she knows what's happening. She knows that this could go on forever and ever and ever--
Brady: Stop. Stop it.
Daniel: Then help me. She needs us.
Brady: All right. All right.
Kate: So you see, there's no one left to help you. You're gonna be lying here all alone. Of course, I'll come by from time to time to talk to you. And I'll be telling you all about the day that Daniel's convicted. And then I'll be telling you about the day that his appeal is denied. Then, of course, there'll be that lovely, lovely evening when they slip that needle into his arm. And that will be the day that you both get what you deserve.
Nathan: What the hell are you doing in here?
Lexie: Hey, hey. There's no evidence of any physical abuse. Ciara's tired, but she's fine.
Bo: [Exhales] Okay, good. Thank you.
Lexie: Yeah, uh, you can go in with them if you'd like. We're waiting for a few more tests, and then you can go home.
Bo: Thank God.
Lexie: Yeah. Thank God.
Roman: See you later, little brother.
Stephanie: Thanks. It's really nice of you to treat the volunteers.
Philip: Mm. Some celebration. Lasted what, six, seven minutes?
Stephanie: Oh, are you sad?
Stephanie: I think most of the volunteers have children. And after what happened with Ciara, they just want to be home with them.
Philip: Yeah, well, I guess it works out for me. I'm unemployed and un-trust funded. I probably should curb the impulse to say it's on me.
Stephanie: Hey, I am a hospital administrative assistant. We can live very large, my friend. Very large.
Philip: You said "we." You said "we."
Stephanie: It slipped.
Philip: I don't think it did, no. I think you want us to be "we."
Stephanie: Yeah, I do. But the question is, can we? I mean, we don't exactly have the best track record, you know?
Philip: But we love each other. That counts for something.
Bo: You look sleepy, little one.
Hope: We were just talking about our nice, warm bed. Reading Goodnight Moon.
Bo: Yeah. That sounds like a great idea.
Hope: She thinks it's a little babyish for her now.
Bo: Oh, yeah?
Hope: But it might be good for tonight. What do you say? Tommy bear likes it. Hmm?
Lexie: Excuse me.
Lexie: Roman's about to take Dean home. I thought maybe you'd want to talk to him first.
Bo: Yeah, yeah, we would.
Lexie: Okay, I'll stay with Ciara.
Bo: Okay, thanks.
Hope: We'll be right back, okay, sweetheart? I love you. Be right outside. Thanks, Lex. Roman: You doing okay?
Dean: Yeah, I'm all right.
Roman: All right.
Roman: Hey. I thought we'd take Dean's statement right now so maybe he can sleep in in the morning.
Bo: Yeah, yeah. That sounds good. So what happened?
Dean: When I, um... when I found this place, I was, uh... looking through the crack of the door. And, um... I reached for my cell phone to-- to call for backup. And that's--that's when I saw the, uh...
Roman: Go on.
Dean: I-I saw the male perp. He was--he was putting a blanket over Ciara. And, um, he reached for his gun. And... I just had to get in there, you know? And stop him. So I took him out.
Bo: And the--the woman was in there too, right?
Dean: Yeah. But I couldn't let that make any difference. I had to--I had to stop him.
Roman: And give his sister a chance to take you out.
Dean: Yeah, well. It didn't work out that way.
Hope: Ciara must have been so scared.
Melanie: Oh, Brady, we have got to stop running into each other like this.
Brady: Thank you for coming.
Melanie: What can I do for you?
Brady: I need your help. Actually, uh, Chloe needs your help.
Melanie: Uh, ooh, and she told you this how?
Brady: She... I was talking with Daniel.
Melanie: Oh, this just keeps getting better and better.
Brady: He needs help. He's trying to save her.
Melanie: All right. Well, I know you didn't call and ask me here to ask me to pray for her, so what can I do for you?
Kate: I'm Chloe's mother-in-law. I don't see what gives you the right to talk to me like that.
Nathan: Besides the fact that you're not supposed to be in here and I am?
Kate: [Sighs] I'm sorry. It's just very, very difficult for me to see her like this, and...
Nathan: That's all right. I-I was totally...
Kate: I come to see her because Lucas is at such a loss without her.
Nathan: No, I-I know. I'm sorry.
Kate: No, no, no. No, don't be. I-I really appreciate everything you said to him. He's so conflicted.
Nathan: I know. I just wish there was something more I could do.
Kate: There's nothing we can do for her now.
Nathan: Are you sure you even want her to get better?
Stephanie: Here we are, back to the same old same old. Our hearts are in the right places, but it's up here. That's where we run into problems.
Philip: [Exhales] You think way too much.
Stephanie: I feel guilty.
Stephanie: I don't want to be the reason why you don't have a relationship with your father.
Philip: No, you're not. Look, two things. I still have a relationship with my father. It's just not the same relationship. And second, and this is important, you are not the reason I did what I did. I had to make a change. Or I wasn't going to be able to live with myself.
Stephanie: Yeah, but you didn't feel that way until I came into the picture.
Philip: Oh. I grew up. And that's a good thing.
Stephanie: Yes, it is.
Philip: Look. I know it is going to take time to believe that I really did. I get that. That's okay.
Bo: [Sighs] That was rough to hear.
Hope: I needed to. Needed to know what our daughter went through.
Bo: [Sighs] You're still angry with me. For going on the TV--
Hope: I don't want to talk about it. Not right now.
Hope: You think someone's still out there, don't you?
Bo: Yeah, those two... not smart enough to pull something like this off.
Hope: So you want to interrogate Ciara.
Bo: No. I don't want to interrogate her. I need to know what she knows.
Hope: I just want her to forget.
Bo: I know. Me too. But if there's someone else out there, I need to find them. For our daughter's safety.
Hope: That's the most important thing.
Bo: We'll talk about this later.
Brady: We need to get to Chloe.
Melanie: You don't need my help for that. There are visiting hours.
Brady: It needs to be a little more, uh...private than that.
Melanie: Um, what is it that Dr. Jonas wants?
Brady: He can help her.
Melanie: Into the afterlife?
Brady: Melanie, he did not poison her. And I'm sure of it. All right? He can get--
Melanie: Okay, okay, okay.
Brady: He can get her out of her coma.
Melanie: Okay, what--what do you need me to do?
Brady: We need you to steer us to the right person.
Melanie: And that person would be?
Brady: Somebody who has enough medical knowledge to take Dr. Jonas' directions, but is low-profile enough that nothing will be suspected.
Melanie: [Sighs] Okay, so like an intern.
Brady: Happen to know someone?
Melanie: I just might.
Kate: Of course I want her to get better. [Sighs] We're all hoping for a miracle. But I-I have to be realistic.
Nathan: [Scoffs] It's not necessarily realistic to simply give up.
Kate: [Scoffs] You know, that's very good and well for you to say, but I have to think about my son.
Nathan: And what, he doesn't want her to get better?
Kate: Of course he wants her to get better, but it would be wrong to get his hopes up. If he has any chance of ever having a life, I mean, he can't be clinging to false hopes.
Kate: You know, you're very young. And you're very naive. And you're not very realistic. And all of that is wonderful. But it's not very practical. Because you can't comprehend that someone other than Chloe was hurt by Dr. Jonas.
Nathan: You mean Lucas.
Kate: Yes, I do mean Lucas. And he trusted her doctor. And look what they both did to him.
Nathan: Right. Well, maybe if Lucas is a victim in all this, he shouldn't be the one making the decisions about her treatment.
Kate: Maybe you should accept the fact that all of this is actually none of your business. Good night, doctor.
Stephanie: The problem is, Philip, no matter how much we try to change things or solve our problems, some of the problems are so completely out of our control. Send Romeo and Juliet to couples counseling. It's not going to make the Montagues like the Capulets.
Philip: You think way too much.
Stephanie: [Sighs] Okay, let's say we make a family. If we have a kid, how am I going to explain to him that I am not allowed in your family's home?
Philip: That conversation is never going to happen.
Stephanie: Your father blames me for you leaving the family. He doesn't forget things like that.
Philip: My father would be over the moon if we had a kid, come on.
Stephanie: Yeah, and would try everything he could to get me out of the picture. Just like he did with you and Chloe, and you and--
Philip: I-I--all right. You got a point, okay? But are you really going to let how my father feels get in the way of us being happy?
Stephanie: It's not just your father I'm worried about. I mean, my family isn't exactly thrilled either.
Philip: [Scoffs] Just because I'm not good enough for you doesn't mean they have to act like I'm not good enough for you.
Stephanie: It's not funny, all right? Look, in different ways, you and I are very much family people. Family really, really matters to us. But when it comes to our families, they just don't go together.
Bo: I'm okay. I'm fine.
Hope: Yeah, you said you were fine when you fell off that ladder.
Bo: I'm just a little dizzy, that's all. I'm--let's--let's get Ciara home, okay?
Hope: No, no, we're not leaving this hospital till Lexie checks you out. It's not negotiable. Bo: Hey, where's--where's Ciara?
Lexie: Uh, she dozed off. Maxine is with her. I thought I'd let you wake her up to take her home.
Hope: Yeah, well, we're not leaving just yet. Remember I told you that Bo got hit in the head tonight? Anyway-- just now, he almost passed out.
Bo: I'm a little dizzy, that's all.
Lexie: Okay, let's go.
Bo: No, I'm--I'm gonna take my daughter home.
Hope: No, I told you. It's nonnegotiable. Please, go.
Lexie: Come on, let's go. Any nausea, headaches? Dizziness?
Dean: The exam didn't take as long as filling out the insurance papers.
Roman: Yeah. Hey, I gotta return a call to the feds. Can you keep an eye on him for me?
Hope: Sure. My pleasure. How can I ever thank you?
Dean: Just don't. I was just doing my job, like I said.
Hope: You saved my daughter's life. It hurt?
Hope: Thank God she was a bad shot.
Hope: Get the counseling the department offers.
Dean: Fine. I will. [Sighs]
Roman: It's nothing. They got nothing that ties either perp to you or Bo.
Hope: Well, it'd be too easy, wouldn't it?
Hope: Roman, what is it?
Roman: I just wish to hell I knew for sure this thing was over.
Daniel: [Sighs] I want you to know--to remember--that I would never do this if I didn't love you so much.
Chloe: Do what?
Daniel: I can't say. But I want you to know I love you.
Chloe: I love you too, Daniel. And I trust you.
Daniel: Whatever it takes. A man's got to do what a man's got to do.
Stephanie: You think this is funny?
Philip: No, I just think you're looking for trouble. I think you would say anything you can to keep us apart.
Stephanie: Maybe you're right. I do get scared. I don't want to get hurt again.
Philip: I get that.
Stephanie: But, um, I wasn't being fair. Because if we love each other, then our families will just have to deal with it.
Philip: Yes. They will.
Stephanie: And, um...this isn't about anyone except for you and me. Well, this is a wonderful night. Good news about Ciara, and, uh, you just happened to take me to the place where we first connected.
Philip: You noticed.
Stephanie: And the thing is... I actually have a feeling of hope for us this time.
Stephanie: Because despite our differences, I think that we're finally being honest with each other, and if we're honest, we can get through anything.
Philip: Yeah. Yeah, maybe you're right. Maybe honesty is the best way to go.
Melanie: Come on, you worked for Dr. Jonas. You know he wouldn't poison anybody, especially Chloe. He's in love with her.
Nathan: This is why you called me out of the hospital? This is the matter of life and death?
Melanie: Uh, it kind of is for Chloe. Ple--please. Please help us.
Nathan: [Sighs] Do you have any idea what you're asking me to do? What you're asking me to risk?
Melanie: So you're not going to do it?
Kate: There's nothing we can do for her now.
Nathan: I didn't say that.
Melanie: Talk to dr. Jonas. Okay, you can do that.
Nathan: Yeah, yeah, I can do that. I'll--I'll talk to him.
Daniel: You. This is perfect. Just the two of us, hmm?
Kate: You have been drinking.
Daniel: Mm. Just like it was meant to be.
Stephanie: What is it? Is something wrong?
Philip: Um, well... I think I need to tell you something.
Philip: [Sighs] Look, whatever's happened, uh... if I've hurt you in the past, I promise, the past is over, okay? I--if you just give me a chance, I will do whatever it takes to make you happy. I promise.
Stephanie: Don't make promises you can't keep.
Philip: I meant what I said. I swear.
Hope: Does he have to be admitted?
Lexie: Uh, he has a slight concussion. And, uh--
Bo: And I promised to come in tomorrow. But right now, I'm going to get my daughter, and we are going home. And that is nonnegotiable.
Hope: Are you sure he's all right?
Lexie: Do you think I'd let him go home if I didn't think he'd be okay? Look, it's just really important to him that he gets his family home safe and sound.
Lexie: [Sighs] You must be exhausted. There, try not to worry so much, okay?
Hope: Easier said than done.
Lexie: I know.
Hope: [Sighs] Our baby looks so peaceful.
Ciara: Mommy. Mommy, no.
Hope: Baby. She's having a nightmare.
Bo: Let's get her home.
Dean: I'm never getting out of here, I just know it.
Roman: Lexie, I think he could use some painkillers.
Lexie: Yeah, I'll write a prescription.
Dean: Kill for a smoke right now.
Lexie: There's no smoking in here.
